Having conducted despicable acts of desecration at Arlington National Cemetery, Trump has fallen back on his go to move when facing political pushback; Blame Others.

But, using other peoples bravery and then claiming it for himself is something Trump does often.  Never Forget, Trump claimed to have gone down to Ground Zero in NYC on 9/11 and helped and claimed to have done much over the years for firefighters, survivors, and others.  These tales are all false.  

Trump is a loathsome scumbag.  Yet... here we are with the absolute knowledge that some 70,000,000 people are going to vote for a criminal whose aspirations extend no further than the length of his extra long red tie and his only thoughts center on what's in it for me?

Trump has gotten away with so much lies and so much evil over the years.  His desecration of Arlington National Cemetery and his staff's brutal attack on a dedicated Federal employee looking to save the honor of those interred on those sacred grounds can not be let go.  We, the People have a chance to halt Trump's Totalitarian dream and put an end to these last 10 years of Trump.

Two members of Donald Trump’s campaign staff had a verbal and physical altercation Monday with an official at Arlington National Cemetery where the former president participated in a wreath laying ceremony, NPR has learned.

“Federal law prohibits political campaign or election-related activities within Army National Military Cemeteries, to include photographers, content creators or any other persons attending for purposes, or in direct support of a partisan political candidate’s campaign," according to the statement. "Arlington National Cemetery reinforced and widely shared this law and its prohibitions with all participants."

Trump's weird and despicable bigoted spokesman Steven Cheung claimed the Arlington National Cemetery employee was suffering a mental health episode in order to defame him.

Trump and his dishonorable criminal staff used Arlington National Cemetery as their own personal campaign prop.  Trump has shown nothing but blatant disrespect and contempt for America's military members he repeatedly shits on Veterans, Medal of Honor recipients, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and his followers don't fucking care.  It's utterly abhorrent and absolutely disqualifying.

After having convinced this family to let him use their pain as a prop Trump was initially denied access to Section 60.  And that's when Speaker Mike Johnson intervened.  Johnson improperly used the power of his office to get Trump in and when ugly weirdo traitor Trump showed up he came heavy with a thuggish crew of criminals to trample on graves, push women around and film a shockingly tawdry campaign video literally using the Valor of braver people for a treasonous chicken hawk cowardly draft dodger bent upon destroying the United States and one who asserts it’s his right to trod upon every law up to and including the Constitution to achieve his fascist power grab.

It's no surprise that little weasel Speaker Johnson pressured Arlington to let Treasonous Trump in to film his grotesque and illegal campaign ad while clowning and stomping on grave sites to use the valor of others to help his viscerally evil campaign because Trump respects no laws, honors no traditions, and recognizes no constraints on his rapacious greed and ego.

Trump classless and unlawful behavior was so out-of-bounds, the United States Army took the unprecedented step of chiding and officially reprimanding the former Commander-in-Chief. To call Trump a disgrace is to give him too much credit.

Trump’s staff brutalized a dedicated Federal employee who after filing the incident report decided to not press the matter further because she is justly afraid Trump and his cadre of criminal traitors will sic his MAGA horde upon her.  And I guarantee you, once her report is released, Republicans are going to doxx her and she will get a string of death threats and abuse.  It should also not be lost that Trump posted this disgraceful and illegal video using ANC on Tik Tok after years of Republicans claiming the platform is  Chinese spyware.  Nor should anyone forget that in his latest Klan Rally Trump yet again insulted Medal of Honor recipients and claimed his Presidential Freedom medals are a greater honor.

But, you should read the psychotic cultish responses on Twitter (X).  The MAGA Fash defend everything Trump does without fail.  They are all over this incident being awesome.

Trump desecrated Arlington National Cemetery while his staff beat up an employee

 So... it seems quite clear the Corporate Media was gearing up to let Trump's disgraceful use of Arlington National Cemetery as his personal campaign photo op slide and just chalk it up to there was a minor controversy as Trump team clashed with an official... but We, the People aren't!

While Trump was standing on the graves of better and braver people than him self, grinning his rictus grin, flashing his teeny thumbs up, literally clowning on top of hallowed (not "hollowed" as Chris LaCivita wrote) ground, his team was pushing an National monument employee around, assaulting them and probably knocking them to the ground.  And in this cemetery are Medal of Honor recipients whom Trump just a few days ago, repeatedly mocked and insulted.  And it's quite fucking clear that Trump planned on using footage from Arlington to advance his despicable campaign.

And now, Just Dishonorable Vance has decided to tell future President Kamala Harris to "go to hell" in a transparent effort to seem like a tough guy and to try to drag Harris into this issue so Trump and MAGA can get the Corporate Media to attack VicePresident Harris for them.

Here's the thing, J.D. Vance is a coward.  He never served in Afghanistan.  He chickened out of service there and did not re-enlist when his time came.  He's disgraced himself with this campaign and should be ashamed to call himself a Marine.

Trump has engaged in shockingly sexist and racist comments at his rallies and interviews against future President Kamala Harris.  

Trump has invented shockingly racist and sexist and totally false claims about helicopter rides and meetings with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Trump has engaged in shockingly puerile and juvenile insults mispronouncing the future President's first and last name. 

Trump has posted shockingly racist and sexist images directly on his "Truth Social" account against Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama.

Trump engaged in one of the most despicable political stunts at Arlington National Cemetery trampling over graves, pushing women around, aping and clowning over the dead bodies all in violation of Federal Law prohibiting using the ANC and markers as political props for his tawdry campaign.

Trump's and his gang of goons behavior at Arlington was so egregious and unconscionable the United States Army took the unprecedented step of rebuking their former Commander-in-Chief.  So... why hasn't the Corporate Media come out said Trump is not qualified for the Office of President?

This isn't even taking into account the crimes Trump committed before, during, and after his evil term in office.  Let alone the false promises about Infrastructure Week, or his "Big Beautiful Healthcare plan" which never materialized.  Or him destroying Roe, setting the Taliban up for success in Afghanistan, or taking credit for Presidents Biden and Obama accomplishments.  Nor does it cover the whole violation of his Oath of Office, after losing the Presidential Election in 2020 leading up to his attempt to overthrow the United States Government on January 6th.

So, I'm going to tell you why the Corporate Media won't declare Trump must step down, Trump can not be President, Trump's age disqualifies him, or Trump is wholly unfit for Office.  There are two reasons; one base and crass, and the other dangerous for the future of the Nation.

First and foremost, The Corporate Media wants Trump back in office.  They yearn for the chaotic ya never know what he's gonna do next!  The Showmanship!  The "funny" insults!  Oooooh, what a time that was!  The Corporate Media loves their Dear Leader DonOld Trump.

Second, and this is more serious, the Constitution, the system of "checks & balances", the guardrails, the norms and traditions, the majesty of the office, The Law, and the Corporate Media are institutionally not able to handle a committed conman like Trump.  The Founding Fathers, (PBUT), set up the government on the tacit understanding that those who would follow would be just like them, gentlemen farmers, educated, well-read, adhering to Enlightenment concepts and political philosophy.  The mechanism they created to handle a rogue actor (Impeachment) has an impossibly high bar because, they did not believe a faction of America would be wholly disingenuous and act in bad faith, and use their offices to destroy the very fabric of the Nation, which is exactly what Republicans are doing.

So... don't expect the bombshell Corporate Media October Surprise to knock Trump out.  Mind you, the Media is still searching for someway to hit Harris and Walz but, even Trump's despicable criminal desecration of Arlington National Cemetery isn't enough to get the Media to call for his immediate withdrawal.

Trump Jr. didn't join up and serve in Iraq or Afghanistan. But, in his new book Triggered: How the Left thrives on Hate and wants to Silence us, Trump Junior would like you to know he sacrificed at least as much if not more than any Vet at Arlington,

Arlington Heights Il (it's near Chicago)- Last week, 26 trees were removed from the public parkway along Gibbons. While the same number of smaller crab apple trees will be planted in their spots next week, neighbors are still mourning the loss of their older, much larger trees.

ComEd and the Village of Arlington Heights decided "most people want those bad-looking trees to come down."

Well, I'm glad the ComEd Corporate Hack and the Village Bureaucrat Owen Widmayer told the people who live on South Gibbons Ave how unattractive the trees truly are, because the trees can "become very unpleasing to the eye," so annually Widmayer and ComEd decide which groups of trees need to be replaced. Imagine the arrogance of the common man wanting to have the 50 year old 35-60 foot tall treees beautifying their neighborhood. How dare they question a government official.

"If they didn't want a tree to come down, they could have called us. I didn't hear from a single person," Widmayer said.

Where have I heard that argument before? I have a sneaking suspicion Owen Widmayer is a Vogon. His arguments are sneakingly similar to the Vogons chastising Mankind for not going to Alpha Centauri to view the order authorizing the destruction of Earth.

The Emerald Ash Borer & Socialism Strike Suburban Chicago

Of course, I'm talking about the unacceptable plans of Arlington Heights, Illinois and Schaumburg, Illinois to battle the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle.

From the Daily Herald reporting:

Schaumburg is embarking on a 10-year, $9 million program to replace thousands of its ash trees with a variety of species immune to the ravages of the emerald ash borer.

During this first year of the 10-year plan, the village expects to spend $1.5 million, which includes $470,000 to remove 1,863 damaged trees. The village also will begin treating with a powerful insecticide 524 “high value” ash trees that are 20 inches or more in diameter. This needs to be done only every other year, but this year's cost alone is $128,000.

Additionally:

Arlington Heights would need to borrow roughly $11.5 million to combat the emerald ash borer infestation — expected to peak in 2015 killing roughly 5,000 trees, village officials said Monday.

The village board's committee of the whole Monday night gave its blessing to a funding plan that would involve issuing roughly $11.5 million in general obligation bonds in 2013 for the removal and replacement of the village's 13,000 ash trees.

So... It has come to this. I didn't import the Emerald Ash Borer into America! It's not attacking my trees! Why on earth should I pay for the removal and upkeep of my neighbor's infested trees?

We are living in an era when a solid block of conservatives have so deeply conditioned themselves they view any amount of government spending as evil and routinely speak of being "raped" by taxes. But, the Emerald Ash Borer beetle infestation is a prime instance of Government being needed. As in to ensure Domestic Tranquility and Promote the General Welfare.

It would do little good if you treated and protected your Ash trees if your neighbor decided not to and his infestation spread to your trees.

Could you sue him? Sure, but how would you prove the beetles migrated from your neighbors house and not from some other close by infested area? Capture a bunch of bugs and do a DNA mapping trace to prove they came from his strain?

Republicans have been constructing a very odd narrative wherein the Government can do nothing correctly. Now, often when Republicans take office they sabotage and undermine government but, this isn't due to incompetence but to a specific agenda of targeted destruction aimed at dissolving the effectiveness of Government.

Now, really what's going on here is the 1% are setting up Green Zones in America. The 1% who wholly owns and operates the Republican Party on a Federal, State, and Municipal level doesn't have the same worries as hundreds of millions of Americans or those residents of Schaumburg and Arlington Heights.

The only thing that concerns them is getting the Republicans to eliminate as many taxes, regulations, worker rights, the social safety net, and curbs on pollution as possible so they can steal and off-shore as much money as quickly as possible.

Trump saw a perfect opportunity to get the Media to once again frame this as an attack on President Biden and soon-to-be President Harris.  Because that is precisely what Trump's team of dishonorable curs and criminals conspired to pull off with the family here.  

Traitor Trump staged a Fake Event knowing Faux News and rightwing liars would claim this was some *Official* Government event that President Biden and soon-to-be President Kamala Harris purposefully skipped when all along it was a deceitfully contrived and disgracefully handled campaign stunt.

I wrote a month ago this was going to get ugly and it has, Faux News, every rightwing propagandist, conservative social media, and the Legacy Media are all in on getting Traitor Trump back into office.  They will throw every lie, every piece of agitprop, every smear, every slander out in the hopes of one of their falsehoods will gain traction and be used to defeat Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

"Socialism, communism, whatever you want to call it, is never the answer." Hank Steinbrenner in 2011, just 2 years after Steinbrenner and the New York Yankees received $2 Billion in public funds subsidized by the New York City and State taxpayers to build Yankee Stadium III.

One of the biggest and most successful scams the Ultra-Rich 1% pulled on America was the Trickle-Down Economics scheme.  Give Us large amount of public money for free and the economic benefit of us using it for ourselves will flow downward onto everyone else.  There is stuff flowing down from the 1% onto us but, it sure ain't economic benefits...  And while they were aided and abetted by Republicans and other conservative politicians the goal has always been the same to gain access to public monies in order to Privatize the Profits, and Socialize the Losses.

The White Sox are looking to move from the old 35th and Shields in the Bridgeport neighborhood to the 78, but in order to accomplish this move, poor, poor Jerry Reinsdorf needs to bum a couple o' bucks from the people of Illinois.

Jerry Reinsdorf has engaged in several tactics reserved for rich plutocratic assholes.  First, Reinsdorf dusted of his 1990s playbook and threatened to move the Chicago White Sox, this time to Nashville, Tennessee.  In the 1990s, Reinsdorf successfully bilked Illinois Governor Big Jim Thompson and the people of Illinois out of hundreds of millions of dollars to repair Comiskey Park by threatening to move the club to St. Petersburg, Florida.

So, last month just before Governor J.B. Pritzker's budget address, Reinsdorf went to Springfield to press the Governor and Legislature for $1,200,000,000 in public assistance in the building of the new White Sox stadium.  Reinsdorf and his investors would come up with the additional funding for the extended stadium grounds.

Rich people stay Rich because they don't pay for things with their money.  Governor J.B. Pritzker is rich he's a real Billionaire unlike the Orange Hitler so he knows this.  Pritzker has been adamant that no public money is going to build sports stadiums,

“I think I’ve been fairly clear about the fact that the taxpayers’ dollars are precious,” Pritzker said in response to a reporter’s question at an unrelated event. “And the idea of taking taxpayer dollars and subsidizing the building of a stadium as opposed to, for example, subsidizing the building of a birthing center, just to give the example, does not seem like the stadium ought to have higher priority.”

Unfortunately, there is a quirk which might allow not only the White Sox but Chicago Bears access to a government handout;  Mayor Brandon Johnson has been stepping all over his own dick and needs win, or to be clearer he needs not to be the Mayor who 'lost" the Chicago Bears to Arlington Heights.

“As far as public dollars, we haven’t gotten into any of those specifics just yet,” the mayor said of discussions with Sox officials.  "But I will say that we’re gonna explore all options. But we have to make sure that we’re doing right by the people of Chicago. … Everything is on the table here."

Why is everything on the table?  Jerry Reinsdorf is so rich he has quietly for the past 2 years been buying up the vacant parking lots in and around the United Center, Home of YOUR HIS Chicago BULLS!

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears are floating the idea of tearing down Solider's Field and putting up a state-of-the-art doomed Stadium on the Lakefront.  They've even proposed using $2,000,000,000 of their own money.  As a comparison, Stan Kroenke of the LA (not St. Louis) Rams spent $5,000,000,000 on the SoFi Stadium, without public assistance, although the NFL did some money as well.

But, this is all posturing as the Chicago Lake front is protected by statute from building on it, as George Lucas learned when he proposed his gaudy Star Wars museum.  The Bears have already knocked down the old Arlington Racetrack, accompanying side buildings and that vast open area is going to house their Stadium, a Bears Museum, hotels, restaurants, probably apartments for players and coaches to live in, and all that revenue will go right into the extended Halas Family pockets.  It's a no-brainer.  But, at this point the Bears seem to be trying to reduce their financial commitment to the Arlington Heights community and surrounding school districts because they can rely on the non-stop messaging of "Trickle-Down" effect being good enough for the peoples who should feel privileged we wish to build a stadium in their community and probably should provide us incentives to do so!

Hand-outs to the MegaRich are called stimulus and the Rich love getting other peoples' money.

Traitor Trump desecrates Arlington National Cemetery

 

Trump has a pattern when he wants to do a photo op, use violence.

That Trump would use the bravery of others and the grief and sorrow of families to aggrandize himself is no surprise. That Trump would pose in his disgusting fashion over the grave site in Arlington National Cemetery is no surprise. That Trump would do this for a tawdry photo op while his putrid staff attacks and insults those who work at the National Cemetery is likewise no surprise.

We saw this the he used the White House itself for a campaign ad after he asked is their any law that’ll stop me?

And Trump doesn't have to worry about losing any support after this despicable desecration.  All over Twitter (X) they rally to his defense.  They denigrate and attack President Biden and Vice President Harris.  They bring up the lies they told about Biden not being present at Dover AFB for the return of the remains in 2021.

The truth was Trump stopped showing up for the return of Service members remains during his despicable term in Office, but the Corporate Media didn't care and didn't cover it.  The Truth is Trump lied and insulted and sent that Special Forces team to their deaths in Niger without a plan, without backup, with air cover, without a QRF, without a chance.  And true to form Trump insulted the widow and families by telling them bluntly, “they knew what they signed up for…”

When he says he'll be a Dictator Day One, you'd better believe him.  When Just Dishonorable Vance says Republicans are going to round-up 20,000,000 people you'd better believe them, when Stephen Miller says the rounded-up people will be put into Concentration Camps he calls "The Staging Grounds" for liquidation you'd better believe them.

Sane-Washing towards Fascism: Traitor Trump continues to shit all over wounded Veterans

 It's a non-stop fact that Trump loves to insult Veterans and loves to dismiss and diminish the sacrifices they've made for the United States.

I've written many times on why this is;  Trump is a cruelly transactional thief who views everything in the lens what he's getting for himself and what he's getting over you.

I vainly thought that Trump shitting all over Medal of Honor recipients would be enough for the corporate media to call him the shameless gutless worm he is. 

I naively thought when Trump was grinning his rictus grin while stomping all over Arlington National Cemetery giving the thumbs up over the graves of men and women far braver than he, the corporate media might have said enough is enough.

I stupidly thought when Trump was gleefully using the grief of families who've lost loved ones in the phony Republican War on Terror the corporate media might remind America how Trump callously dismissed the families of the US Special Forces whom he sent into Niger without a plan, without a QRF, with no hope and then shrugged and told the families this is what they signed up for...

So, now that Iran has apparently hacked his campaign and maybe issued a fatwa against him, Trump and his cabal of treasonous surrogates have no shame and no compunction in blaming it all on soon-to-be President Kamala Harris. 

As War Criminal Benjamin Netanyahu continues to escalate violence and tension in the Middle East, hoping to provoke a major conflict and force President Biden and the U.S. military to intervene and invade Iran the same way Netanyahu lied and coaxed George W. Bush and Dick Cheney to invade Iraq, I figured the corporate meida might point out how Trump cruelly dismissed the injured Soldiers who were bombarded while he was in Office after Trump wanted to show what a big strong man he was by blowing up an Iranian General.  

And then... and then Trump merely did it again.

Look at him smirk and shake his head as he downplays soldiers injuries.  Then he goes into his canned answer of the bombs never hit the "fort"...

There was nobody hurt...  unlike like say Trump and his scratched ear from a small shard of glass...  

Even his innovation of "fort" is so disrespectful as if these men deployed in Iraq where hiding in a fort of couch-cushions like Just Dishonorable Vance...  At this point, as we saw at Arlington, there is nothing traitor Trump can do to alienate his rabid cult who yearn to get him into Office so that they might unleash their inner violent terrorism and murder millions of people here.  But, alas the Corporate Media also openly desires another Trump Presidency so they will never stop Sane-Washing him.

Tearing statues down is American as apple struedel.  On July 9th 1776, the Sons of Liberty tore down a statue of King George III on The Bowling Green in New York City. The statue was turned into over 40,000 musket balls for use in the American Revolutionary War. 

Quietly, American Patriots have struck another blow against villainous enemies of the United States.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — A federal judge on Tuesday allowed the Arlington National Cemetery to remove a century-old Confederate memorial one day after blocking the removal over a report that gravesites were disturbed.

At a hearing in federal court in Alexandria, Virginia, U.S. District Judge Rossie Alston said he issued the temporary injunction Monday after receiving an urgent phone call from the memorial's supporters saying that gravesites adjacent to the memorial were being desecrated as contractors began work to remove the memorial.

Of course, there was a delay because disreputable rightwingers made spurious claims that graves were being desecrated.

He said he toured the site before Tuesday's hearing and saw the site being treated respectfully.  "I saw no desecration of any graves," Alston said. "The grass wasn't even disturbed."  Alston issued an 18-page opinion Tuesday evening to lift the injunction. He said the allegations that the removal efforts amounted to grave desecration "were, at best, ill-informed and, at worst, inaccurate."

Every statue of an Arch-Traitor who took up arms against the Untied States, should be torn down.  The Lost Cause historical revisionism was a continuation of the Civil War by other means.  After losing the maneuver and attrition part of the War, conservatives moved into terrorism and the subversion of government from within.  As Heather Cox Richardson wrote the South won the Civil War.

Now, tearing down the Lost Cause monuments has nothing to do with disturbing graves or desecration of actual remains.  But, then that's always been a rightwing lie.  At Camp Butler memorial in Springfield, Illinois, there is a memorial which notes that nearly 1000 confederate prisoners of war died of disease at the Camp during the war.  It was erected in December 2005, during the George W(orst Ever) Phony Global War on Terror whilst Americans were fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

The obelisk's inscription sure reads like all the other historical white-washing efforts, 

“In memory of the Confederate veterans who died at the Camp Butler Confederate prison camp. May they never be forgotten.”

 It seems odd to place a memorial 140 years after the incident until you realize the organizations who placed it,

The United Daughters of the Confederacy; Seven Confederate Knights Chapter 2625; Illinois Division, Sons of Confederate Veterans; Illinois Society, Military Order of the Stars & Bars; and the Order of the Southern Cross.

Also Hate America just like the Modern Republican Party.  And each of these often times gaudy memorials successfully planted was a victorious salvo in the non-stop conservative War on the United States.  But, besides hating the United States of America, Republicans also love lies.  Especially lies about the Civil War.

Nikki Halley was recently caught on the ultimate gotcha question;  What was the cause of the Civil War?  And Nikki couldn't give the absolutely correct of Slavery because that would be CRT and would infuriate the racist white men she's courting for the Presidency.

Florida Republicans introduced legislation to safeguard Confederate Monuments and Lynch any local leader or elected official who tries to bring down the noble white man.  It would also restore those statues successfully taken down.

It would be nice if the Corporate Media, in the face of Republican efforts to push The Lost Cause and literally restore Confederate Arch-Traitors into prominent positions in society, wouldn't then let the treasonous bootle-throated slap dick Republicans go on TV or submit op-eds which say 'Nuh Uh, the Dems is the Party of Slavery'  

The Confederacy was the pinnacle and ultimate expression of Conservative beliefs.  But, modern Conservatives are no longer content with just vicariously living off the glories of the Old Southern Conservatives and instead are yearning to outdo their ideological brethren.  What Republicans wish to create is a Slave State with the modern reach, surveillance, and power of the 21st century;  a dystopian NeoConfederacy.

The Southern Poverty Law Center still has a great site documenting the remaining Confederate monuments.  Right now tearing down their racist victories the Lost Cause inflicted on the United States is good but, very soon Republicans will stop relying on their disproportionate legislative and judicial power and attack the United States again.  January 6th 2021 was a prequel.

Senator Mark Kirk please recover from your terrible Stroke so you can be kicked out of the Senate for Ethics Violations

Senator Mark Kirk snagged the former US Senate seat of President Obama back in 2010. Republicans placed a high value target on the seat because... well, probably because it fueled their deluded, self-absorbed, narcissistic attitude that America really doesn't love President Obama.

Senator Kirk suffered a massive debilitating stroke several months ago. Unfortunately, his recovery appears to be going poorly as Seantor Kirk, who is also a Commander in the US Navy, had to cancel his appearance at an Arlington Heights Memorial Day Parade. In fact, Kirk has made no public appearances in the 4 months since his stroke.

While I wish Senator Kirk a return to good health and a full life afterwards he needs to leave the Senate.

Kirk suffered serious damage to his brain, is going to have long-term impairments and, of course, recent news has emerged that Senator Mark Kirk engaged in possible criminal behavior while running for office in 2010.

Senator Kirk used his campaign to funnel money to his then girlfriend, Dodie McCracken.

The girlfriend, Dodie McCracken, who works in public relations, has acknowledged receiving more than $143,000 in fees and expenses for her campaign work. A former live-in girlfriend, she is no longer romantically involved with Kirk, according to a campaign aide.

At the heart of the matter is Vertolli's assertion that the Kirk campaign may have improperly hidden money to McCracken by paying her through another company working for the campaign. Because the money was not paid directly to McCracken, her name does not appear in Kirk's federal disclosures.

Kirk knew he was proceeding along an unethical and probably criminal path when he decided to use a shell company to pay his girlfriend.

Is R. Limpballs going to call McCracken a name? Is this going to be mentioned by any of the right-wing media? Of course, not.

Besides the up-coming Ethics charges for his campaign violations Kirk's medical issues clearly indicate he needs to be removed from the Senate if he will not do the honorable thing and step down.

But, Mark Kirk is a Republican. Thus, while he has repeatedly lied about his military service, Senator Kirk claimed to have "misremembered [sic] it wrong", [See My Post: War Records], the bet here is Kirk will not step down and will rally the hypocritical conservative base to defend him even though he has engaged in multiple behaviors which right-wingers claim to abhor.

        I was very impressed by the turnout and the response to the No Kings protest in my small suburban Chicago town.  A lot of energy and a lot positivity.  The turnout in Chicago and elsewhere was massive and undeniable.

In response, Just Despicable Vance posted Damn Right he's a King, and some rightwing chud produced an AI Slop Video in which a crowned Trump flies around in a King Trump jet fighter and literally shits on America.  Traitor Trump, of course, reposted the video and yet again, as is their habit, a right-winger used an artist's music without their permission.

Decades of nihilism and LOL nothing matters, and Republican lying, and media BothSides, and rightwing podcast propagandists pushing every rightwing smear and lie have resulted in a Government of Trolls.

HuffpPost asked KKKaroline Leavitt, who in the White House made the decision for dumbass Donnie to fly to Hungary to meet with Vladimir Putin and she responded, "You mom did."

Steven Chueng, who beat up a National Parks employee at Arlington National Cemetery so Traitor Trump could desecrate graves, gave a more succinct, "Your mom!"

Remember how Republicans lied about FEMA's response to hurricanes in North Carolina, insinuating President Biden was denying aid to poor rural whites purposefully, well here's Kristi Noem spending $172 millions dollars (not on butt implants, hair extensions, and cheek filler) but on two private jets to ferry her around to stare at men in Chicken costumes.  Oh and this expenditure is occurring even though the U.S. Government is ostensibly "shut down".  Republicans are Looters and Vandals.

Instead look at what Republicans are actually doing, the Supremacist Court eliminates 250 years of wetlands protections enshrined in the Constitution, look at the Missouri Republicans refusing to enforce popular referendums voted for by the people of the State and now looking to stop the voters from using their constitutional right to defeat the Republican gerrymander.  And why did Traitor Trump direct Drunken Triple SecDef to personally pay military members despite the shutdown, for the same reason Roman Emperors paid the Legions handsomely, so they would be a personal army loyal to him and not the Nation or Constitution.

Lawns take a large amount of time, care, fuel (oil+gas), treatment and water to "properly" maintain. They are an outdated status symbol which until I get 3 youngsters running around or throw weekly backyard soirees remains a green hole of life suckage, though it looks pretty. Whiskey Fire gets it with the eloquent post, I Hate Mowing My Fucking Lawn.

However, there is a curious effect happening thanks to the Piss Down Your Back Tipsy Canoe Recession; there are a large number of empty foreclosed homes with overgrown lawns and towns are reducing budget and laying off public workers, so village boards see grass height scofflaws as a potential source of revenue.

Mow or Pay:

Municipalities are finding it increasingly difficult to keep tabs on all their unkempt yards. Many, including Arlington Heights, Northbrook and Lake Forest are taking steps to hold property owners accountable.

Additionally, the Seatlle-esque rains we've been receiving are a boon to the growth of yards everywhere,

"The majority of grass grown in the Chicago area is Kentucky blue, which is a cool weather grass," said Marvin Ganek, a master gardener at the Chicago Botanic Garden. "In addition, it needs moisture, and we have had plenty of that. I can tell you it has been growing better this year than it has in a number of years."

Gasp! More big government socialism encroaching upon the individual! Quickly man the Crying Freeman Glenn Beck Ramparts! Except it really isn't. While less leniency and a more stringent enforcement of the fines may be a crass attempt at generating revenue for the towns, living in a Chicago suburb necessitates the person understand the rights of others and the responsibility of community. If you live in a community you have, unfortunately, accepted the burden of being a good neighbor.

If you want to live like a Randian Superman with a wild overgrown prairie of a yard move out to McHenry or Boone County and allow your lands to grow wild grasses.

Now of course it's difficult to move to those Counties. McHenry has been devastated by the Republican Economic Crash and living that far out costs too much if you want to drive into the city since the corrupt Bush Regime allowed their Corporate Oil Masters to inexplicably and capriciously raise the price of gas to whatever they deemed fit and since funding an improvement to the much maligned Chicago Roadways would have been socialism at work, better to allow them to flounder.

Samuel Johnson famous quote needs to be updated to more accurately reflect Republican beliefs; Faux patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Fortunately, the military services and Veterans are, like the American electorate, far more progressive than they were 20 or 40 years ago.

I am incensed at Traitor Trump, a man who violated his Oath of Office, who literally argued in court he, "did not take an oath 'to support the Constitution of the United States.' and is not an 'Officer of United States'.  That this treasonous filth who did not end the war in Afghanistan but, instead released the Taliban to retake the country and dropped the difficult part of extracting Us from Afghanistan after 20 years to his successor and then has the fucking gall and temerity to criticize his betters is just par for the course for ugly weirdo Trump.

Just Dishonorable Vance has hitched his political future to the worst people in the country he's fully disavowed his Marine Corps boot camp training. Of course, you know Vance didn't serve in Afghanistan so I don't know where he gets the fucking chutzpah to have an opinion since he didn't have the courage to serve there.

Conservative Cancel Culture: From 1619 To CRT to CTU

'Republicans want "to put y'all back in chains".  This was called a gaffe by President Biden in 2012. The last 9 years have shown Joe to be correct.  Republicans wish to reimpose Slavery, physical and mental, onto the American people. 

One of the areas conservatives saw and then seized a chance to impose mental slavery was to demonize the 1619 project and Critical Race Theory (CRT).  By undercutting and disallowing teaching of the past conservatives believe they can shape the minds of the future.

All of this circles back to Conservatives abject visceral hatred of Teachers; or more specifically Teachers' Unions.  Years ago teachers were mostly women and made little money, but today Teachers Unions have ensured educators have good salaries and benefits, and more importantly have Political Power.  That is unacceptable to right-wingers.

The American Right loathes the influence Teachers Unions exert on politics and have for decades.  Under Ronnie Raygun school choice and creationism were the cause celebre.  These days it's Critical Race Theory, transgender students, and sensible Covid mitigation efforts.  But, whatever the phony issue brought forth by rightwing propagandists and uncritically repeated by Corporate Media stenographers the goal is the same; cut funding for public education and exert control on what young people learn and, more importantly, how they think and process information.  As the splash page for the Arlington Heights, Illinois based "Christian Libtery Academy" quotes Proverbs, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."

Even his furtive ACORN allegations ended with no arrests let alone convictions. However, James O'Keefe has been convicted of crimes.

And that leads us to Part I: My Time as an Accomplice to Convicted Criminal James O’keefe by Nadia Naffe.

I thought I could put the weekend of October 2nd, 2011 behind me. But it seems to keep popping up every time I look over my shoulder. The public is looking to me to connect the dots about what actually happened that evening which led me to file a criminal harassment complaint against James O’keefe in court.

It'll be interesting to follow her allegations and the Right-Wing reaction which will be to slander and smear the young lady for breaking orthodoxy, a little can be found here at the Mediaite story.

The sad truth is James O'Keefe is a mentally repressed conservative Bigot. All of his "Stings" have targeted programs or institutions which help the oppressed and minorities. But, even before he launched his Right-Wing Oppression Project, O'Keefe's views and those conservatives with whom he associated were easy to determine when convicted criminal James O'Keefe attended and was involved in a White Supremacist Forum held on August 30, 2006 in Arlington, VA.

A DC area photographer snapped a photo of O'Keefe as he maintained a literature table near the panelists. At the time both [O'Keefe] and Marcus Epstein were Leadership Institute employees. Epstein, who eventually served as executive director for Bay Buchanan's the American Cause and for Tom Tancredo's Team America PAC, would be arrested almost a year later for drunkenly attacking an African American woman in the Georgetown area of Washington, calling her a racial slur and also fighting with her husband before getting stopped by an off duty secret service agent witnessing the attack. O'Keefe, who was still being listed at the time of the forum on the RU Centurion masthead as "Editor at Large" would eventually be fired from the Leadership Institute after he called a Planned Parenthood office pretending to be a donor who only wanted his donation going to aborting black babies, because in his words, "the less black kids out there the better." It was a ruse to catch Planned Parenthood staffers in an embarrassing situation, which it did, but it also embarrassed his employers at the Leadership Institute as well, and they let him go. Still, David Fenner, Vice President of Programs at the Leadership Institute said, "We don't say what our employees should do on their own time."

I wonder if this applies to women in his organization nowadays seeing as R. Limpballs and the Republicans in Arizona specifically want to see and know about women's sexual activities.

The NRA bears much Responsibility for the recent Police Shootings

Dashcam footage from New Jersey of another Police Shooting of a suspect exiting his vehicle unarmed is now making the rounds. Last December 30th, Jerame Reid was a passenger in a vehicle. During a traffic stop by Bridgeton Officers Braheme Days and Roger Worley, a gun was apparently located in the passenger side glove box by Officer Days who displayed good instincts, was alert and observent.

But then entering rapidly goes to shit. The next and final minute of Reid's life were a mix of rapid and contradictory commands leading him to exit the vehicle hands raised and after the gun had been confiscated by Officer Days. At which point the two Officers shot and killed him.

But, I'm not here to exercrate the Officers, but to point out why it is seemingly unarmed and cooperating men are getting gunned down.

While it's unequivocally true the Modern Police Department was created as a Social Control of the Working Class, immigrants and freed Slaves, the recent spate of shootings stems from the Reactionary Wayne LaPierre lead-NRA and their 35 year push to get guns everywhere and to allow gun violence to go unrestricted.

The Nation is awash in Guns. 300 million or more and those guns have a habit of "walking away" and ending up in the hands of criminals quite easily. Gun Nuts and their groups use every mass shooting to further weaken the anemic gun control laws left. And the Powerful Unrestricted Gun Violence Lobby has won 2 very important SCOTUS decisions as gotten hundreds of local ordinances eliminated.

Now that Illinois has passed Concealed Carry, every state in the Union has some version of CC and President Obama even loosened gun control regulations on Federal Parks and Lands.

Thus, Police Officers face the real threat that everyone they come in contact with and every vehicle they stop has a gun. Officers faced with this knowledge and sporting the maxim Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6, have ended up shooting many seemingly cooperative suspects.

• South Carolina Trooper shoots black man reaching for wallet.
• South Carolina Trooper shoots 70 year old reaching for cane.
• 38 year old homeless camper sit with ar15s, beanbags and but by a K9.
• A Billing Montana Police Officer wept after killing an unarmed man in April 2014.

But, those shootings have a counterpoint because Police Officers are receiving training and reviewing these incidents,

• Oregon State Trooper is confronted and has a shoot-out with a former Army National Guardsman during traffic stop.
• An Arlington Heights Officer shot by suspect during Domestic Violence call.
• Cliven Bundy participants and Conservative Terrorists Jerad and Amanda Miller murder 2 Officers and another man during their Right-Wing Revolution.
• And recently over at Green Eagle comes the story of a black Oklahoma Police Chief shot 4 times by a right-wing White Supremacist, who was wanted in connection to calling in false bomb threat reports. This last incident along with the Millers continues to show that Right-Wing Violence including murder and attempted murder of Police Officers is coddled and encouraged in the United States.

The conservative commenters on the youtube videos for this incident call this a "good shoot". I wonder what training, what Use of Force, what readings/discussion of the 4th Amendment, what personal experience at drawing down on someone or shooting/being shot at they can reference in order to support their viewpoint and then I remember that the man killed was Black and it's ipso facto always a good shoot to conservatives when a Black man is shot.
