Drunk Van Orden is going to lose to Rebecca Cooke in Wisconsin 3rd District

 Drunken Derrick Van Orden is a disgrace to the United States House of Representatives, to the United States Naval Service, to the people of Wisconsin, and Americans everywhere.

I know alcoholism is a terrible disease and the hardest things for hard-core alcoholics to do is seek the treatment they need but, my sympathy for Drunk Van Orden doesn't extend to him getting re-elected to Congress.  Especially, since Van Orden participated in the January 6th Insurrection and has repeatedly lied about his involvement.  A shameful disgrace to his service.

Van Orden from all accounts, his personal stories and his despicable actions has shown himself to be a mean drunk.  A mean hateful drunken sailor.  Trash if you will...  I've known these types from my time in the Corps and from dealing with mean drunks while working the job.

So, while Drunk Van Orden may be a pitiable man he's also a dangerous fascist and has no business in the US House of Representatives.

Wausau Mayor Doug Diny Dingleberry

Wausau, Wisconsin Mayor Doug Diny is facing scrutiny after video surveillance footage showed him carting the city’s outdoor ballot drop box inside on Sunday while sporting a Department of Public Works jacket and hard hat.

Diny on Tuesday admitted he moved the drop box to his office on Sept. 22 and “took a few photos to memorialize the action.” Initially, he said the box “was relocated to a safe indoor location until certain issues that the clerk is aware of are addressed.” He also provided a photo.

You will be utterly unsurprised that Mayor Doug Diny Dingleberry is a hardcore rightwing psycho who hates the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision granting people the right to vote and will simply deny it via performative disenfranchisement;

On July 5 the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that municipal clerks do, in fact, have the authority to establish secure drop boxes for absentee ballots in their district. Wausau Clerk Kaitlyn Bernarde made that decision, which Diny took exception to.

Like all Republicans, the Wausau Mayor seeks to suppress, interrupt, deny the franchise to as many people as possible because when the people vote, Republicans lose.  Of course, Diny photographed his LOL publicity stunt because he believes he's untouchable by laws and declared, 

"This action is consistent with my overall position and what I heard from residents when I was knocking on doors.”

Diny is a special kind of rightwing asshole who ran on a platform of blaming the previous Mayor Katie Rosenberg for a water rate price increase after Rosenberg cleaned up the cities wells of PFAS.  Diny Dingleberry won 5222-4798.

While everyone knows that Boomers fell prey to the vile lying propaganda of Racist Limbaugh, then Faux News, moving onto Facebook memes, to eventually just swallowing Russian agitprop wholly;  Generation X failed their own critical thinking skills test and then willingly fell for the cynicism of being too cool to care about politics, which was specifically peddled to them.

Thus, GenX ignored their nascent political power in the 1990s, fell for the jingoistic GWoT of the 2000s, and now we’re smaller than the Millennials and Zoomers and less committed than the rabidly rightwing dwindling Boomers

Now, Republicans continually wreck the economy and Democratic Presidents Clinton, Obama, and Biden fix the Republican failures and sabotage.  

You know about the extra-legal powers the 3 Republican members of the Georgia Board of Elections granted themselves to slow down the certification process.

But, several other Republican occupied States have engaged in their own Voter suppression tactics as we are less than 6 weeks from the 2024 Presidential Election.  Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahom have engaged in Voter Purges removing millions of viable voters under their you didn't reply to my latest email scam.

It's really one of the things which shows how false and fake our Democracy is when North Carolina can remove 747,000 voters because the Board of Electors determines their voting status is "inactive"

In Nebraska, Republicans sought to ensure the 1 Electoral Vote of the Omaha Congressional District didn't go to Kamala Harris by having the Nebraska Congress adopt a last minute change.  Prime Trump suck-up Lindsey Graham flew out from South Carolina to try and persuade the change.

In Pennsylvania, Republicans have sued to stop voters who've sent in mail in-ballots which may have errors are denied a chance to correct the potential errors in a practice known as "notice-and-cure"

There's going to be more ratfvcking and attempts to at least delay certifying Kamala Harris and Tim Walz victory this November.  If those hopefully fail and it appears at least the Harris/Walz team and the Biden Administration as well as staunch defenders of freedom and liberty like Marc E. Elias are fighting the Republican voter suppression efforts in the Courts. 

Even if these efforts are defeated or if they are unsuccessful in stealing the 2024 election for senile weirdo traitor Trump, Republicans know by destroying faith in elections and alleging all sorts of impropriety without any evidence will ensure that one day when Republicans again take to the pulpit to announce a repeat of January 6th enough Fascists will rally to the Republicans cause and overthrow the United States government.

In a Wisconsin rally, Trump declared parts of Colorado are controlled by  immigrants based on some lies form the Republican Major of Aurora Mike Coffman and rightwingers online claimed the city had been taken over by Venezuelan Gangs.

(It's completely unsurprising in this era of rightwing online propaganda that Republicans were claiming the Hell's Angels were coming to Aurora, Colorado to fight the Venezuelan Gangs controlling the City and that Republicans would care more about their fantasy of Migrant Gang Invasions than the real threat out there of White Male Rightwing Gunmen going into a movie theater shooting dozens of people).

Donald Trump is visibly confused.  Donald Trump is physically in shambles and barely presentable in public.  Donald Trump can't complete a sentence.  Donald Trump can't process a question posed to him and respond in a coherent fashion.  Donald Trump can't speak without descending into the same tired lies, insults, slanders, and fascist  he's recited hundreds of times before.  Donald Trump is not mentally fit for duty.

Trump then continued his lie about children being Transgendered at school, "Kamala supports states being able to take minor children and perform sex change operation, take them away from their parents, perform sex-change operation and send them back home.  Can you imagine you're a parent and your son leaves the house and you say, Jimmy, I love you so much. Go have a good day in school and your son comes back with a brutal operation." ANGER!

And then capped off what he and the Republicans plan to do,  "The gangs are taking over sections of the state.  And, you know, getting them out will be a bloody story."

Trump will give his bloody MAGA cult the violence they yearn for.  And he's telling them he will pardon those convicted of crimes against the American people because he's going to give a blanket pardon to January 6 convicted criminals.

And this was just on recent speech.  In the past few months, the incoherent statements, the number of insane falsehoods, the number of unhinged fascist declarations, the rabid calls for violence, and the number of easily disprovable lies by Trump would fill columns in Newspapers...  if the Corporate Media cared to cover it.

But...  they don't.

The Corporate Media wants him to be President again.  So, they will continue in their policy of "sane-washing" his comments and re-organizing his actual statements so it doesn't look like unintelligible gibberish.

And...

The Corporate Media wanted Joe Biden gone and the Democrats in Disarray so they could help propel their Dear Leader DonOld Trump back into the White House.

What they got in July instead was a masterful political maneuver by President Biden, which energized the Democratic base and enlivened the casual Democratic voter and positioned Kamala Harris to be the next President.

This was not how this was supposed to go when the Corporate Media wrote for months about President Biden's age, which is why since that fateful day in July, the Corporate Media hasn't mentioned that DonOld Traitor Trump is a senile, incoherent criminal making up absolute garbage lies, engaging in non-stop racist and sexist attacks on soon-to-be President Harris, and demonstrating that besides all the criminal activity, he is not only morally unfit and ethically unsound for the Office of President he is in need of committal to a mental health institute.

Understand, nothing anyone writes on Twitter (X), Social Media or Substack or in these ancient unread blog posts is going to change the way the Corporate Media "sane-washes" Trump but, that doesn't make it a useless endeavor.  We've got to fight for the country we won't because the one Trump and the Republicans want is a fascist hellhole of oppression and mass murder.

I knew this was going to get Ugly, but while I expected the Corporate Media to BOTHSIDES BOTHSIDES BOTHSIDES this into a 50/50 horserace match, I did not expect them to overtly, blatantly, and openly come out in favor of Trump and decide to throw in with him fully.

Harris and Walz can win and if the recent new voter registration figures can over come the Republican voter suppression and ballot rigging efforts, then the dirty tricks Republicans in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, Arizona, Wisconsin and elsewhere won't matter.  Because Harris will win not only by landslide popular vote numbers but with a solid near blowout Electoral College Vote.  Right now we have to win, we can talk about reconciliation and deprogramming the MAGA cultists later.

 One tactic Republicans adopted to overcome they unpopular and creepy candidates and policies is to change voting and maps once they are in power in any state legislature.

This is what Scott Walker, Robin Los, Scott Fitzgerald, Michael Gableman and numerous other Republican judges have done in Wisconsin where Democrats receive the majority of votes while Republicans are gifted the majority of elected offices.

Robin's famously stated (in a chilling voter suppression way) that if you take out Milwaukee and Madison, then Republicans are the majority in Wisconsin.  Although, admittedly I don't know what explains Russian Ron Burgundy Johnson and his 3 statewide wins for the US Senate.

Despite living year-round in California, Eric Hovde is running for the US Senate in Wisconsin.

Like billionaire Bruce Rauner in Illinois, Hovde is cosplaying trying to be normal by wearing regular clothing.  But, while Rauner managed to pull of wearing Carhartt jackets, Hovde's creepy Flag desecration shirt is as off-putting as his creepy mustache.  But, also like Bruce Ruiner, Eric Hovde has made a lot of money by giving sub-standard care to the elderly via nursing homes he owns.

The reason creepy Republicans Hovde, or Bruce Rauner or Rick Scott in Florida, get involved with nursing homes is the guaranteed monies that come in via Medicare.  Actually caring for the old people is a burden Hovde doesn't see worth spending on.  Even worse Hovde doesn't even see the people living in his facilities as human beings.  Hovde is the subject of wrongful death lawsuits and has been investigated and fined by the Department of Social Services in his home state of California. But, Hovde like other creepy MAGA Republicans also believes in the Trump Lie about losing the 2020 election and does not think the people in his nursing homes should be allowed to vote,

“Well, if you’re in a nursing home, you only have five, six months life expectancy. Almost nobody in a nursing home is at a point to vote,” Hovde said. 

MAGA callous disregard for human life is as evident as it is frightening.  Hovde doesn't see the elderly people in his "care" facilities as people but as dollar signs.  Republicans don't believe certain people count.  Traitor Trump, who is panicked about his chances now facing soon-to-be President Kamala Harris, just openly and blatantly admitted this to his "beautiful christians".  Weirdo Republicans across the country have, for a long time, believed that only they are True Americans and it is their god given right and duty to return this Nation to it's original founding; which MAGA Fascists will accomplish by rounding-up and murdering millions of people.

Traitor Trump is running (or more accurately shambling) around promising his constituents that when Republicans steal the 2024 election that'll be it, he'll be in power for life, and the American experiment will be destroyed, and the United States fundamentally changed into a Theocratic Fascist Dictatorship.

  Moscow Ron doesn’t get a lot of widespread national discussion but his recent teleprompter boner might get a little attention in the Corporate Media love fest of the RNC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

You see Moscow Ron has earned a new appellation Ron Burgundy Johnson because he apparently reads whatever is put on the teleprompter in front of him, without knowing what he's saying.

Despite the Corporate Media declaring BothSides must tamp down the heated rhetoric in the wake of a registered Republican attempting to kill Trump, Ron Burgundy Johnson read an inflammatory speech at the RNC in which he declared the Democratic Party, 

"a clear and present danger to America, to our institutions, our values and our people."

Of course, this attack was also mainly at the LGBTQ community with canned bullshit of "biological males" nonsense.  Even the dumbest Republicans (and Johnson and Tubberbrain battle for dumbest Republican Senator) are good at sophistry, non-stop lying, and coming up with a bullshit excuse for why they are so dumb.  And the Corporate Media dutifully does their job by simply accepting rightwing lies and moving on.  Meanwhile, Republicans shamelessly deride President Obama and President Biden for years for using teleprompters yet, a teleprompter should be their new religious totem since it literally saved the life of their Anti-Christ in Butler, Pennsylvania.  Look, Republicans hate America.  Their every action, speech, policy is designed to destroy the current United States and replace it with a simulacrum of a Democratic Republic.

Now, much of the electoral defeats in Wisconsin have come down to rightwing ratfvcking of elections and obscene gerrymandering providing Republicans with statewide victories even when they lose the over all vote totals overwhelmingly.  Wisconsin voters have continuously pushed back against Republicans, which has just made Republicans turn to more outrageous non-democratic means of holding onto political power.

Since April, Robin Vos, who considers Wisconsin a solid Republican state when you simply exclude the voters of Milwaukee and Madison, has been engaged in the time-honored rightwing tradition of looking for post hoc justifications for his pre-planned Impeachment of Justice Protasiewicz because voters made the wrong choice and Justice Protasiewicz is going to undo the outrageous gerrymandered district drawn by Vos, Fitzgerald, Scott Walker and all the other anti-democratic goons ruining Wisconsin.

And with so many anti-democratic forces working in the state, it's not surprising a group of Neo-Nazis "The Blood Tribe" would feel free to march in Madison, (yes I know it's Dane County not Door).

As to The Washington Post article which relates the weary tales of various retired people, tavern owners, and small business people who long for a time when politics wasn't so fractious, divisive, partisan, and all-encompassing. I can only imagine these people blissfully ignored everything Republicans did to divide the Nation after George W. Bush's spectacular failure on 09/11/2001 (You're either with us or with the terrorists), never heard Republicans shout "You Lie" at President Barack Obama, never had Faux News on in the background of their favorite Supper Club, and are unaware Traitor Trump proclaims he will use the Government to lock up numerous people into Concentration Camps.

Wisconsin is a beautiful state, it's only drawback are Republicans.  This is the chief complaint for many states today.  This wasn't going to be a post about Wisconsin Republicans but instead about grass burs which often evade a cursory glance over a field, lawn, or pasture, but make themselves readily apparent when you feel the long spines stick you.  Yow! Ouch! Aye Yai Yai!

But, then Wisconsin Public Radio ran a story about Cory Tomczyk and his on-going efforts to destroy the Wausau Pilot & Review for accurately reporting what he said in 2021.

A Marathon County judge dismissed a lawsuit filed in 2021 by Mosinee businessman Cory Tomczyk, who's now a Republican state senator representing the 29th District, accused the Wausau Pilot & Review of defamation after it reported that he was overheard using an anti-gay slur against a teenager while in the audience at a Marathon County Executive Committee meeting. 

Despite the publication's victory in circuit court, Pilot & Review Publisher Shereen Siewert said it's racked up between $150,000 and $200,000 in legal bills. Those expenses were enough to put the small news outlet in danger of shutting down, Siewert said.  "But then we realized that even if we win, we lose."

Worse than a Pyrrhic victory, Siewert pointed out the legal bills from Tomczyk's baseless lawsuit are in danger of shutting down the Wausau Pilot & Review.  It's baseless because in deposition Tomczyk admitted to calling the 13 year old boy a "Faggot".  Tomczyk defended this action by claiming he has friends and a brother who are gay.

"I have a brother who is a gay guy, and I've certainly out of joking and out of spite called him a 'faggot' more than once," Tomczyk testified in a deposition resulting from his lawsuit. "I have a couple of friends who are also gay, and in that community, that term, I don't, I don't feel in that community that term has the same negative connotation (as) in a straight community. The guys that I know laugh it off."

I have a black friend defense who I also call a terrible slur too now adapted and repackaged for bigots to smear the LGBTQ community!  Tomczyk's efforts are plain to see, use his money to win despite being guilty of what was reported,

Robert Drechsel, a professor emeritus of journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. "In many cases, plaintiffs aren't really suing to win, but they win by suing."

When you face the reality that Republicans have NOTHING to offer the American people it can be pretty bleak.  This seems to be why the Corporate Media writ large refuses to face it.  In fact, in Wisconsin Racist Robin Vos, Drunken Van Orden, Russian Ron Johnson, Slimy Scott Fitzgerald, Bigoted Becky Bradley, Vile Terf Cory Tomczyk and many other Fascists have enjoyed improper and illegally obtained political power due to voter suppression, gerrymandering, and political chicanery.  And have gotten away with their using the awesome power of Government at the local, state, and federal level to harm people and ensconce repressive and unpopular hatreds and bigotry into law.

The new liberal aligned Wisconsin Supreme Court is going to reverse a lot of the damage Fitzgerald and Scott Walker did during their tenures, expect more vitriol and threats from rightwingers.  And when Trump loses Wisconsin in 2024 conservatives will probably declare civil war and attack the United States again...

I tend to shy away from ascribing certain over-determined explanations for Republican perfidy.  Therefore, every creepy rightwing YouTuber screaming about trans peoples genitals and groomers isn't necessarily closeted or a sex pest, although Steven Crowder and Matt Walsh are definitely rapist perverts.  And every accusation of a Weaponized Government by Republicans isn't a necessarily a confession of Republican desires.

But, in Minocqua, Wisconsin it most assuredly is;

A Northwoods brewpub known for marketing beers named after Democratic politicians had its ability to operate revoked Wednesday after a yearslong battle over local zoning rules. 

Under the decision by an Oneida County zoning committee, Minocqua Brewing Company would be forced to close its doors. Owner Kirk Bangstad has vowed to appeal the decision and remain open as long as possible.  

The dispute involved parking regulations and a contested plan by Bangstad to open an outdoor beer garden. But in social media posts and statements to news media, Bangstad has repeatedly claimed that he is being targeted by a conservative board because of his liberal political views. 

Kirk Bangstad's accusation is, undoubtably true.  Especially, since rightwingers have openly attacked his business in the past. Thanks to President Jimmy Carter, we are currently in a Renaissance of Craft Beer; even if psycho beer makers continue to foist hop-laden undrinkable IPAs upon the consumer.  Additionally, the Wisconsin legislature recently voted to change the laws regarding brewing, selling, and consuming alcohol across the state, as they were a mish-mash of anti-monopoly and prohibition era ideas about restricting consumption and keeping one company from controlling the entire means of production and distribution.  So, to cite Miocqua Brewing over this ticky-tack violation of zoning rules strikes directly to the heart of it being a vendetta against an openly liberal company and business owner.

If you've never been to the Minocqua region of Upper Wisconsin, it's a marshy land, festooned with numerous small lake waters.  It's heavily a tourist and summer rental area.  So it's not as if this is the insular land of Rightwing cousin-fvckers.  There's a market for Minocqua's beers.

“I am open for business until somebody puts a padlock on my business. They had planned this ahead of time to revoke my permit to do business. This was a charade. This whole meeting was a charade,” said Bangstad.

Oh, no this can't be right.  Republicans would never cancel a businessman!  Republicans would never use weaponized government against a company!  Corporations should never be constrained by government!  It must be pointed out over and over and over and over to get the Normies out there to understand.  Republicans and Rightwingers do not believe anything except power and do not adhere to the any of the principles they ostensibly believe in.

Disreputable, Despicable, Dishonorable, Derrick

During my Marine Corps days there was nothing like being on base and seeing the line out the px and 7 day store on Friday afternoon.  Young Marines waiting to buy multiple cases of beer.

Since then, working the job, you meet any number of drunks and the mean ones are apparent right away.

Derrick Van Orden is most definitely a mean drunk.  And I have no doubt when weekend liberty came and he and his fellow SEALs went out to party and booze it up, Van Orden was the type who got piss drunk and then engaged in play-fighting which he quickly escalated into an actual fight/wrestling match. 

Drunk Van Orden is the type of abusive alcoholic asshole whom the Department of Defense no longer wants portrayed in movies and tv series but, which are ubiquitous throughout the services.

But, once a mean drunk always a mean drunk.  Drunk Van Orden's childish tantrum and despicable booze-filled outburst at teenage Senate pages shows great disrespect on Naval tradition.  But, one first thing rage filled assholes like Drunk Van Orden (just like other mean drunks) do is justify their actions.  Which we saw Drunk Van Orden do by aping the 'Tell Me you've never been" meme to act as though getting piss-drunk in his Congressional Office and then accosting children is normal behavior in Wisconsin.  NPR predictably ran cover for Drunk Van Orden by euphemistically referring to his "short fuse", because the media exist to justify, mollify, and soften Republican perfidy.

Unfortunately, binge-drinking is a problem in Wisconsin.  Although if you read the chart for worst states you'll notice they are all Northern clime states which have the problem of those long winter nights.  Interestingly, Norway dealt with this problem of heavy drinking/long winter nights by creating the State Monopoly on alcoholic beverages over 5% ABV and to remove the profit motive with making and selling more and more booze.  Wisconsin drinking culture has been written about for decades although various fixes have been promoted throughout the years.

Of course, Squeaker of the House Qevin McCarthy defended Drunk Van Orden because he needs his vote and Republicans don't give a shit how much of an asshole, criminal, drunk, conman, or pervert you are as long as you pull that lever for the Republican agenda of hatred, intolerance, and adulation of the Rich.

The laws governing the manufactures, distribution, sale, and consumption of alcoholic beverages are a mish-mash of Anti-Monopoly and Temperance movement and have needed to be cleaned up and streamlined for the 21st century reality.  Earlier this Summer, the Wisconsin legislature did pass a comprehensive reworking of the State's alcohol laws.  Sadly, this matters very little to drunks like Van Orden who revel in slamming a handful of sour Brandy old-fashioned and then engage in favorite well-worn tradition of all abusive alcoholics, berating children.

Wisconsin Congressman Derrick Van Orden is not a politician his website for Congress in 2022 will have you know.  But, Van Orden also isn't a stable human being either.

In a booze filled rage, Derrick Van Orden attacked and yelled at Senate congressional pages,

“Wake the fuck up you little shits … What the fuck are you all doing? Get the fuck out of here. You are defiling the space you pieces of shit,” Van Orden said, according to an account of the incident provided to The Hill by a page. 

“Who the fuck are you?” Van Orden asked, to which one person said they were Senate pages. “I don’t give a fuck who you are, get out.” 

“You jackasses, get out,” he added.

I guess this is better behavior than we can normally expect from Republicans towards pages as elected Republicans normally try and have sex with those little boys.  Besides being a drunken rage filled asshole, Van Orden is a treasonous fuck who was part of the January 6th rightwing attack on the United States.

Van Orden's Congressional office is apparently festooned with empty bottles of booze and reports are Van Orden was clearly intoxicated as he accosted these children.  But, Van Orden is a rough and tough Navy SEAL, who now has quite a history of "punching down".  In June 2021, flush off of his invasion of the US Capitol building, Van Orden yelled at a bunch of employees at a Prairie du Chien library over the LGBTQ+ books and display.  Yelling at workers to make themselves feel tough and brave is a classic rightwing maneuver.

These Congressional Pages get these positions after applying with their state's US Senator and are probably 16-17 year olds.  But, Republicans don't actually give a shit about children.  And Van Orden is naught but a mean abusive alcoholic and a shows great disrespect to the US Naval traditions. 

(For further context,  recall how conservatives and Republicans slowed down videos of Nancy Pelosi to make it appear she was drunk? Republicans love lies and hate America. And when confronted with an elected Republican who actually is an abusive alcoholic asshole, they won't do anything...)

Wisconsin Republicans would like you children to die by: Guns, Meningitis, or Heat

The day after Independence Day I recently read the worldwide temperature was the highest ever recorded at 62.9 Fahrenheit.  These records only date to 1940.  So right there Republicans can dismiss evidence of the rapidly warming planet.  Meanwhile, the New England area is experiencing torrential rainfall and a 1-in-a-1000 year flooding event...  Strange how these Once every Thousand year events happen yearly or even more often.

But, not satisfied with environmental catastrophes, Republicans in Wisconsin voted to spread diseases in Junior High,

The Republican-controlled Wisconsin Legislature on Wednesday voted to stop Democratic Gov. Tony Evers’ administration from requiring seventh graders to be vaccinated against meningitis.  The Legislature’s vote also makes it easier for parents to get an exemption from a chicken pox vaccine requirement that is in place for all K-6 students. Evers’ administration wanted to require parents seeking a chicken pox vaccination exemption to provide proof that their child has previously been infected.

These are not the dreaded mRNA vaccines which Republicans demonized under the rubric as "the Jab" to fuel their phony propaganda campaign of died suddenly and millions wmore will die soon!  Chicken pox vaccines have been around since the 1970's and meningitis is CDC recommended for 11-12 year olds. 

Part of this is the decades long rightwing effort to undermine and destroy Education in the United States, and more broadly the on-going Republican effort to cause dysfunction in the government while making government totally unresponsive and unavailable to large swaths of American society; as say when the Supremacist Court ruled against Student Debt loan relief or baned Universities from addressing historical inequities in education.  This is why the Betsy DeVos funded Moms 4 Hitler group so lovingly embraced him; conservatives seek nothing less than the destruction of the Department of Education, tight restrictions of higher learning, and the indoctrination of the rest of America into accepting their Totalitarian dictates. 

So, when you couple this with every Republican policy; e.g. the mass proliferation of firearms (guns being the #1 cause of preventable deaths in children and teens), denial of medical care to women, reductions in every facet of the meager social safety net, and the rank climate change denial, it illustrates how much and how viscerally Republicans hate your children.  They really hate your fucking children but, being Republicans they do like fucking your children... over.

It also illustrates how little thought Republicans give to the future.  Crank that AC to 65!  Grow that Sod! Drill Baby Drill!  Drain those Marshlands!  Dump whatever you want into the Great Lakes!  Slash and burn those forests!  Fuck the Future! Republicans know that with Billionaires funding and influencing the Supreme Court and with the Boomer Generation getting older and feeling more and more entitled to draining as much resources as they wish, just like the fvcking Boomers have done their entire pampered lives, they can win enough elections to entrench their political power, until the day comes when Republicans have to use all those Guns they've been stockpiling to take Political Power by force.

While Wisconsin Republicans rush to join the Confederacy, Governor Tony Evers looks to the Future

After the Supremacist Court rulings, Wisconsin Republicans indicated they planned to rollback the meager assistance directed to minorities to attend University in Wisconsin.

"We are reviewing the decision and will introduce legislation to correct the discriminatory laws on the books and pass repeals in the fall," Vos, a Republican of Rochester, tweeted Thursday.

Vos was referring to the Minority Undergraduate Retention Grant program, which provides scholarships ranging from $250 to $2,500 to Black, Native American, Hispanic or Southeast Asian students to attend technical colleges, private nonprofit colleges and tribal colleges.

Vos' plan comes amid a broader Republican push to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion efforts within the University of Wisconsin System. The state budget, which passed both chambers this week, includes a $32 million cut to the UW System in an attempt to eliminate positions related to DEI.

The Republican Party has nothing to offer the American people so Robin Vos' headlong rush backwards should not be surprising.  But, one of the key propaganda components for the last 50 years has been to tell the White Middle Class people, whom Republicans are oppressing, that the oppression actually comes from some unqualified black or woman who got their job.  Vos has explicitly expressed the ridiculous rightwing claim the only discrimination that exists in America is so-called "Reverse-Racism". 

"The overt racism, the overt exclusion, the overt indoctrination is so deep inside the UW System, I am embarrassed to be an alumni," said Vos, who graduated from UW-Whitewater in 1991. "We have got to fix that.”

When Republicans speak of "fixing" America they mean the goal of destroying the United States and replacing it with a Fundamentalist Apartheid Nation with religious edicts and White Supremacy as the new law of the land.  To that end we see the Republicans in Wisconsin and across the country, curtailing voting rights, undoing protections for the less fortunate, gutting opportunities for minorities and the poor, and seeking to shackle women into child birth against their consent.

The Constitution is not color-blind.  After southern conservatives launched their War in defense of Slavery and lost. The 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments tried to alleviate some of this and Southern Conservatives were furious.   So, Southern Conservatives began a campaign of Terrorism and infiltration and subversion of the United States Government.  Today, the lies and hatred of the South has permeated every State in the Nation. 

Fortunately, for Wisconsin residents, despite having a large cadre of NeoConfederates undermining the State, Governor Tony Evers has used his powers to defend the Wisconsin working class and ensure those of modest or no financial means will be able to attend higher education.

Evers reduced the GOP income tax cut from $3.5 billion to $175 million, and did away entirely with lower rates for the two highest earning brackets. He also used his partial veto power to increase how much revenue K-12 public schools can raise per student by $325 a year until 2425.

Evers took language that originally applied the $325 increase for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years and instead vetoed the “20” and the hyphen to make the end date 2425.

The Wisconsin Republican Legislature had proposed stealing half the Wisconsin budget surplus and funneling it to rich assholes.  Because the Republican Party raison d'être is returning political power to the obscene Rich.  We are faced with a violently Reactionary Supreme Court, financed by obscene Rich assholes, comprised of viciously mad old men who have conspired their whole lives to destroy the Progressive Era and undo any modest gains for the poor, the sick, the tired, the homeless, huddled masses, and re-establish the United States as it was intended by the Founders; a Nation with the Government and Power tightly controlled by the Rich who dispense concepts like Freedom, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness through the largesse or not at all if they so desire.  A Neo-Confederate Nation under the Rule of Billionaire Class.  Republicans have made their choice.

Wisconsin residents purchased more than $121 million worth of marijuana from legal retailers in neighboring Illinois in 2022, contributing about $36 million in tax revenue to the state, according to a legislative analysis requested by a top Wisconsin senator.

Ha-ha-ha!  For years, Wisconsin has benefited from Illinois residents driving up for the fishing and spending long summers and large amounts of dollars in the State.

Wisconsin residents, however, have a love/hate or perhaps a hate/hate relationship with Illinois people including the nicknames "FISHTAB" (A Fucking Illinois Shit Head Towing a Boat) and "FIBs" (Fucking Illinois Bastards) and Wisconsin State Patrol is famous for always ticketing drivers from Illinois and infamously in the 1980's Chicago-land high schoolers used to drink in Wisconsin and drive drunk to get back home to the Chicago suburbs.  Drunk driving suburbanites became so bad, it lead to the creation of MADD and the passage of The 1984 National Minimum Drinking Age Act, [23 U.S.C. § 158], changing the drinking age to 21 across the USA.

My favorite Cannabis shop is Sunnyside on the US 39/90 corridor right on the border.  I've passed it many a time and it always makes me smirk as it's prominent display right across the border and right next to the highway is some primo trolling.  The weed flight has gotten so bad I understand Governor Tony Evers is pushing for medical marijuana to be fast tracked as Wisconsin considers legalization.

Everyday brings some new revelation about Republican perfidy.  Imagine a Republican.  Now compare that Republican to any another Republican.  You will find each is worse than the other and any other Republican you can think of is worse than both of them.

Of course, you know about the violent ignorance and active stupidity of a Major Traitor Greene or Dick Flashing Lauren Boebert but, at every level from senior Senators to local county board, Republicans have adopted of a program of out-doing each other in the depths they will sink.  It's a downward spiral on the accretion disc of depravity, bigotry, and violence leading Republicans towards the Naked Singularity of Pure Fascism.

Russian Ron Johnson knows, knows on a deep visceral level that 50 years of rightwing agitprop and lies have completely conditioned conservatives.  Nothing a Republican does, save being civil to Democrats, will cost a Republican support and votes.

There has never been a more Reactionary Law Enforcement body in American history than the FBI, that includes the Pinkertons.  Yet, a large swath of the American electorate somehow believes the FBI is in cahoots with BLM and Antifa...  Understand the constant Republicans bullying and insults of the FBI is exactly what the GQP has done to the media for years.  Republican abusive behavior is designed to get the FBI to throw up their hands and allow the Republicans to seize control of the Government and create a Neo-Nazi Nation.  Of course, the standard FBI agent is bound to be a conservative by nature and disposition and certainly there are fascist true believers who've infiltrated the FBI but, most members of law enforcement feel it's their duty to enforce the law. What the modern GQP and conservative movement doesn't want that; rightwingers specifically want Federal Law Enforcement to act like the Stasi and Gestapho.  Conservatives have always wanted Law to be used to punish their political enemies it's why they accused President Obama of using the IRS to target conservatives and why they dusted off that accusation against President Biden; conservatives have used and will use the Federal Government to harass and punish their political opponents they can not conceive of any other use for them.

So, Russian Ron Johnson knows his racist Wisconsin voters are primed to believe the FBI was weaponized against him.

But, crying about being set up by the FBI or pretending not to hear a reporter when he's being asked about his plan to hand a false slate of electors to Mike Pence on January 6th won't get Wisconsin conservatives riled up and raring to go the voting booth.  So Ron Johnson's campaign against Mandela Barnes is rife with racism.  But, in the vast Wisconsin driftless plains, Great Lake shores, and rolling forests Johnson's bigotry sells.  So, when the debate moderator asked Barnes and Johnson the banal say something nice about your opponent Russian Ron couldn't help but declare, his black opponent hates America.

The Republican Party is gone.  It's bigots, grifters, fascists, and criminals.  Period.

Ron Johnson openly states he'll help do away with Medicare and Social Security and make abortion illegal by Federal Law if he's re-elected to the Senate.  And conservatives are yearning to vote for him.  White Wisconsin rightwingers are willing to harm themselves because they know Johnson will hurt minorities, LGBTQ persons, women, liberals more.

And meanwhile, Johnson engages in financial graft and kickbacks knowing he can just declare any investigation into him is done by the Woke Gay FBI agents and conservatives will disavow reality.  Johnson has been using Howard Air, his family owned planes, for travel.  Besides reimbursing his family trust with Federal money, it's a simple way for political allies to funnel payoffs and kickbacks to Johnson.

Obscene Wisconsin Governor candidate Tim Michels tells conservatives to Murder the Media with pitchforks and torches

Tim Michels is running for governor of Wisconsin.  He's a multimillionaire owner of a construction company.  Now normally that means he's mobbed up (See Manhattan real estate developer Donald John Trump for instance) but, in Tim Michels case he wants to be Governor so he can more easily funnel state dollars to his company using his political office.  "We bring value to the taxpayers of Wisconsin," Michels said.

Well... you can see what kind of "value" a thin-skinned prick like Michels brings.  Journalists looked into his "Charitable donations" and found out they weren't so charitable.  In fact, Michels has been giving money to lying anti-abortion groups and vile homophobic organizations.

As always, telling the truth about Republicans is the worst crime a journalist or anyone can commit.  In response, Republicans usually call for violence.  Predictably, in a lesson taken from Traitor Trump, Tim Michels decided to performatively get mad and tell his supporters to go murder members of the media;

"People need to decide, you know, am I going to put up with this? Am I going to tolerate this... I believe people should just, just be ready to get out on the streets with pitchforks and torches with how low the liberal media has become."  Republican Tim Michels

And here's the thing, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporting is completely accurate.  Tim Michels and his wife's bullshit foundation gave $250,000 to groups which seek to ban all forms of contraception and outlaw abortion in all cases.  Tim Michels gave money to religious organizations which seek to ostracize, shame, shun, and harm LGBTQ persons.

After directing calling for violence,  Tim Michels campaign stated baldly these donations are "Christian causes".

Republicans feel no shame, of course, in their intolerance but, they also feel no fear in calling for violence against certain groups.

Republicans break laws and then use their law breaking to restrict other peoples' rights

Brushed aside as old news was the revelation Trump lover Dennis Molla lied about his Camper, home, garage and cars being burned & vandalized by liberals just before the 2020 election.  Faux News and on-line rightwing blabbermouths endlessly hyped Molla's lies as proof of the BLM + Antifa terrorism afflicting America. Worse still, despicable Molla was willing to burn his dogs to death for this fraud too.

This genre of rightwing lies, i.e. being attacked for displaying rightwing paraphernalia goes back years.  Of course, far, far worse are the rightwingers who lie about laws themselves. 

Predictably pernicious and particularly potent are rightwing lies about elections and voting.

One of the Republicans running with evidence-free theories about Voting Fraud, is Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling.  Sheriff Schmaling is one of those rightwing lunatics who believes he is the highest authority in the Land based on 9th century English Jurisprudence about Shire-Reeves so he's spent the last two years claiming all sorts of voting fraud.  He's also done so without evidence, which didn't stop Sheriff Schmaling from calling for the arrest of Wisconsin Elections Commission.  And then, as rightwing Sheriff's often do, when faced with a lack of evidence, Schmaling and his co-conspirators decided it was time to make the evidence themselves.

Sheriff Schmaling worked hand-in-hand with the Neo-Fascist Racine based HOT government group to commit Voter Fraud.  As always, after they've committed crimes, Reactionary Neofascists demand other people need to have their rights restricted.  These disingenuous and bad faith attacks on democracy are what appeal greatly to the rightwing lizard brain.  Since, conservatives are the "Patriots", since right-wingers are the "Real Americans", since Republicans are the only "legitimate" government officials their actions are ipso facto always righteous and they aren't really breaking the law just showing how the laws could be broken by other people.  And as elder white people they simply want their Country back.

What MAGA has always meant is stop letting those people have political power and stop them from being able to exercise their larger political power through casting a larger number of votes.  It's an idea which stretches back in conservatives thinking to the American Civil War.  Most MAGAts don't comprehend the truth of their movement distilled down as bluntly as, 'We don't like democracy and want to be the only ones who exercise political power' but, that's what it is.  More people voting is less political power for them and conservatives demand they be the only ones who count. 

Wisconsin is a battleground state.  Local Republicans have worked tirelessly to gerrymander the State Legislature.  Russian Ron Johnson is vying for his 3rd term in the United States Senate.  Ron Johnson was going to be the Senator on Jan6th to hand Mike Pence the false slate of Electors to undermine the 2020 Election.  The election President Jospeh R. Biden Jr won decisively...

As I watched election night coverage in 2020 with trepidation of a 2016 repeat, it became increasingly clear that Jospeh R. Biden won the Presidency that night and this conviction became more and more concrete as the next couple of days passed.  Even Faux News had called Arizona for President Biden putting a stake in the heart of Traitor Trump's chances.  But, the media dithered and this created a nice little niche for conservatives to claim Trump won.  And into that niche flooded the vile liars and evil villains intent on overturning the election results and stealing the Presidency for Donald John Trump.

"Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen" - Trump after his election loss looking for others to break the law for him in one of his many schemes to defraud the United States and the American people.  

However, since the 2020 election, Republicans have increasingly turned to believing Trump's BIG LIE and this year seek political office to be able to steal the next election by bureaucratic means.  To be certain Republicans have always employed anti-democratic methods, voter oppression, intimidation, and the apparatus of government to disenfranchise and deny many Americans free and fair representation.

But, with these elections in 22, we are looking at the GQP simply declaring themselves the winners, regardless, and daring the Democratic Party and American people to do something about it.  That's the Era of Election Fraud conservatives dream about and yearn for.  They Win, you Lose.

And at that point, no amount of laws, will stop conservatives from setting up the Ultimate Law Breaking Neo-Confederate state they desire and declaring it's time to round-up and eliminate the Non-MAGA.

On Martin Luther King Jr Day, CEO Bill Penzey Jr released a completely accurate statement about Republicans, their efforts to disenfranchise black voters, general racism and their fervent murderous desire to shoot black people,

Remember how Republicans, going against a mountain of evidence to the contrary, once again lied and said BLM wasn’t a peaceful movement but instead terrorists inciting violence throughout the country and then raced out to buy a crapload of guns because maybe they were finally going to get their chance to shoot a Black person? What a bunch of racists.  

If you’re a part of a party that does everything it can to make it harder for Black people to vote, gerrymanders the value of minority votes down into a small fraction of the value of white votes in state houses and in the US House of Representatives, and are willing to vote for candidates of the party that nominated a man for president who explained why he was launching his campaign by saying: “Mexicans are rapists and murderers,” the Racist label is one you will deservingly wear every day you stand with them. Get used to it, or maybe instead, become a better person. 

Conservatives were furious.  Because "a hit dog hollers".  I hate that statement because don't ever hit your dog.  And yes I understand it's not actually about abusing your dog.  Of course, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell proved Bill Penzey's statement 100% correct when he stated Black people aren't Americans.  So, constantly call conservatives and Republicans what they are; Assholes, Bigots, Fascists, and Losers and watch them get angry.

And the king of the asshole losers today is anti-vaxx asshole Aaron Rodgers, a vile cheater and liar, who decided to dip his supposed broken toe into the waters of the Big Lie of 2020 and stated a few days ago,

“When the president of the United States says, ‘This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,’ it’s because him and his constituents, which, I don’t know how there are any if you watch any of his attempts at public speaking, but I guess he got 81 million votes,” Rodgers said Thursday. “But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which, how do you even trust them, but then they come out and talk about 75% of the COVID deaths have at least four comorbidities. And you still have this fake White House set saying that this is the pandemic of the unvaccinated, that’s not helping the conversation.”

I would like to point out it's despicable of Rodgers to make fun of President Biden for his well documented stammer, but to do so with a Sarah Palin word salad concoction which is hardly legible itself is classic rightwing projection.  

But, fortunately Arlington Heights second favorite son Jimmy Garoppolo, former Bears kicker Robbie Gould, and the San Francisco 49ers ended Green Bay's season and possibly Aaron Rodgers football career with a gutsy 13-10 victory on the erstwhile frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.  And as befits an asshole like Rodgers, Twitter took delight in Aaron's latest choke-job against the 49ers.

Aaron will have plenty of time to do his own research about vaccines and the 2020 election, now.  Hopefully, Shaline Woodley (a suspect practitioner of California Woo Woo Science like Aaron) will break off their engagement and dump his ass.

Wisconsin Republicans, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, are ready for Business

One of the key components of the Reactionary shift in American Politics has been the push by Republicans, from "business supporting" to servile kow-towing lackeys of the 1%, who deceitfully utilize their public office to ensure private business is supported on the backs of the Working Class.

In Wisconsin, the election of Governor Scott Walker was just the cherry on top of the Neo-Feudalist Republican push to crush the regular Wisconsinite and transfer land, property and money to the Rich.

The Koch Brothers consider the State of Wisconsin their Feudal Domains. Scott Walker is their paid lackey, ready and willing to enforce the will of the Koch Brothers at every turn. But, they aren't satisfied with merely controlling Walker. Americans for Prosperity, the Koch Brothers think-tank propaganda arm, is spending millions in order to control the local government of Iron County in Northern Wisconsin.

The Koch Brothers see the natural resources of the American People as theirs, to do with as they wish and the ramifications be damned.

If the Koch Brothers succeed in Iron County a mining operation under Gogebic Taconite will devastate Northern Wisconsin. But, who cares because the 1% will make a boat load of cash while the effects of their putrid mining operation won't affect them or theirs!

The Koch Brothers support the Republican Party because once Republicans are in office they use the Awesome Power of Government to enact blatantly unfair laws because Businesses, like Koch Industries no longer succeed in America by innovation or efficiency, but by ensuring public tax dollars are transferred to them, public domains are seceded to their control and by getting governments to undercut labor at every turn.

Last December, Wisconsin Business representatives demanded special tax incentives and tax-payer funded corporate welfare from Lt Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.

The meeting of Public Office holders was closed to the media. This meeting was recorded by the Lt Governor's office but, her office declared the unknown number of Scott Walker specially directed "Tax Reform Roundtables" since last December were not be recorded so Business Reps could "speak freely" i.e. demand the Scott Walker administration give transfer the tax dollars of Wisconsin citizens to them.

Two weeks ago, a bill in the Wisconsin Legislature which would have required health insurance providers cover chemotherapy drugs equally was blocked by state Senate Majority Leader Republican Scott Fitzgerald.

The bill would have eliminated the cost difference between Chemo pills and intravenous drugs, Health "Insurers" opposed the bill and coincidentally, Scott Fitzgerald's brother is a lobbyist for the Health Insurance Industry.

Now, despite the bill having enough support to pass, two weeks ago, Fitzgerald called a special committee to prevent any vote.

Much like, Mitt Romney's infamous things only discussed behind closed doors, Corporate America has spent decades secretly meeting with their operatives the wholly owned Republican Party and Pro-Business Democratic members in order to use the power of government to undercut Labor and enforce a stratified society in which the vast majority of American workers are shackled forever in the chains of Corporate Bondage.
