Ron DeSantis is maybe 5'9' tall, so it seems odd for bibble-bobble DeSantis to make himself look taller by wearing 3 inch lifts in his brand spanking new alligator boots since this would offer up more of himself for people to dislike.

But, far worse than his short stature is bibble-bobble DeSantis's incoherence about vaccines and his insistence on lying about Covid in the faint hope of sparking some life into his campaign while his demented lies literally kill his erstwhile supporters.

“Now, every booster you take, you’re more likely to get COVID as a result of it.”  

This is such a vile statement the best you could say about Ron DeathSantis is he's shamefully saying it to get MAGA support for his dead campaign.  And if you dare to read the comment sections of any rightwing  agitprop organization (Reason), then you will be exposed to the insane hatred and lies about myocarditis and ruining your "natural immunity" that will make you understand why DeSantis will play footsie with these Covid lies.

And they will help you understand why the Corporate Media is still STILL trying to make DeSantis Happen.    

Now, certainly the Media would love nothing more than to elevate Nikki Halley to Republican nominee but they know the Magat Horde yearns to have Jello-Brain Herpes Hands Trump back in office.  But, regardless of whom the nominee is the Medias job is to help elect Republicans and to that end they will do whatever it takes.

A common trope in TV and Movies is that dogs have a preternatural sense of who is a good guy and who is a bad guy [Evil-Detecting Dog].  This was famously illustrated in The Terminator, but continues to this day.  Now... sometimes reality imitates Art.  Trump is hated by dogs and other animals, whereas good ole President Joe loves dogs.  DeSantis kicking a dog is emblematic of how he's treated people throughout his rise.

Remember Ron DeSantis stood up an Election Integrity State Police unit to harass and arrest blacks in Florida for "Voter Fraud"so it's ironically grotesque his vile little troll wife Casey just encouraged Republicans to commit Voter Fraud in the Iowa Caucuses.  Casey DeSantis is apparently is as mean a little vindictive shit as Ron.  It's also hilarious to see vile troll Casey stand next to vile shit Ron and realize they are the same height

Of course, it wouldn't be proper for me to talk about DeSantis without mentioning his Bronze Star award, that is a Bronze Star without the V Device.  Which means Ron didn't earn it for "valorous" action or conduct but was awarded it for paper work.  There is a class of Officers who base their prospects and look to set up their future endeavors by having a large salad stack on their dress uniforms.  

These Officers know how to ingratiate themselves into their higher-ups and also know how to craft a decoration request for themselves to make it look like they did something.  DeSantis did not.  DeSantis is real, real, real close to a Stolen Valor chump.  This is why he never talks about his time as a JAG as he knows if he starts boasting about his GWoT exploits it'll open him up to criticism and critique and since he did nothing of note expect paperwork to justify torture at Guantanomo.

Of course, the lessons DeSantis has learned from his time at GITMO andin the Navy he's brought to his career in Florida and what he wishes to inflict on the American people.

A Florida state guard established by the rightwing governor, Ron DeSantis, under the guise of a civilian disaster relief force is instead being trained as an armed, combat-ready militia under his personal command, according to military veteran recruits who have quit the program.

• There are multiple frightening takeaways:
• The psychological and abusive physical tactics used against good-meaning people who signed up, including disabled Veterans.
• Getting the Florida Legislature to drop rules adopted in 2022 of using this group as a disaster response force in Florida and changing their mission to "law enforcement", including outside the state and against "illegal immigration".
• Expanding the budget from $10 to $100 million to purchase military equipment.

“The program got hijacked and turned into something that we were trying to stay away from: a militia,” said Brian Newhouse, a retired 20-year Navy veteran who was chosen to lead one of the State Guard’s three divisions. The original leadership team envisioned a disaster response team of veterans and civilians with a variety of practical skills, according to Newhouse. Two other former military veterans, who asked not to be named for fear of potential consequences and later quit, expressed similar concerns over a change in the State Guard’s mission

These are just some of the egregious overreach by DeSSantis and his pliant Legislature.  A key component of fascist rule is to issue contradictory, confusing, or chaotic rules and to place the onus on well-meaning persons to enforce them.  You then become an unwitting pawn in advancing the rightwing agenda.  Timothy Snyder listed this as his 1st Rule of wannabe Tyrants and authoritarian groups like the Florida Republicans;

Ron DeSantis plans to suffocate Democracy and ensconce Fascism (as does every other Republican)

I said long ago, that when law enforcement agencies, Sheriff's departments, big Metropolitan police forces, and your local Officer Friendly were reformed, retrained, or restrained Conservatives would seek to jettison them and create new agencies and empower them to conduct business as usual; i.e. the extrajudicial killing of black people and the ruthless enforcement of a two-tiered justice system which never prosecutes Republicans or rightwingers while bringing the entire weight of the Awesome Power of the State onto anyone who does not help maintain the rigid double standard conservatives have enjoyed since the Founding Fathers wrote the unequal application of Freedom into the Constitution.

You can not use Master's Tools to take down Master's House.  When those tools become "broken" conservatives don't redesign the tool itself but simply replace it 

Remember how angry white people were when President Barblack Oblackma dared to call a white police officer stupid.  Remember how draconian and unconstitutional George W. “We’re not going to let all this power accumulate in Washington, we’re going to break up these agencies,” DeSantis said during a private strategy session over the weekend, excerpts of which were obtained exclusively by RCP. He vowed in that call to order “some of the problematic components of the DOJ” be uprooted, reorganized, and then promptly “shipped to other parts of the country.”

“We’ve seen throughout this country that the DOJ and the FBI are controlled by one faction of our society,” DeSantis said on the call, pointing to how those agencies were “going after pro-life activists,” wrongfully investigating parents at school board meetings “who are concerned about things like critical race theory, and forcing kids to wear masks,” and “colluding with tech companies to censor information such as what they did with the 2020 election.”

I must point out that nothing DeSantis is proposing is in anyway new.  Conservatives absolutely adore the unequal application of laws, and the targeting of people for their ideological beliefs.  What conservatives hate is when they are subject to their own standard.    This is standard Conservative Orthodoxy along with the complaints that starting in the 1960's and accelerating recently the Federal Government isn't doing the job the way it is supposed to.   Conservatives believe "The Law" and all Police Agencies exist to punish people they don't like and look the other way at their own offenses.  No matter what the offense may be.  Observe the absolute ridiculous rightwing defense of the Trump inspired and Republican lead successful attempt to obstruct and delay the transfer of power on January 6th.  That, of course, is merely the largest most obvious example of the double standard conservatives demand from law enforcement.  Conservatives committing crimes aren't actually committing crimes and even if they are committing crimes those who committed crimes should, if they are conservatives, get away with it.

But, if I have to have Trump, who's been committing crimes since the 1970's, arrested for his gross sexual escapades, so be it.  Also as a reminder, remember when it was revealed disgusting toad-stool dick Trump arranged to have a tryst with Stormy Daniels and then illegally paid her off with campaign donations and in revenge those Dirty Trump humping Columbus Ohio Vice Squad entrapped Stormy Daniels and arrested her for illegal touching in 2018, and then she was RWOC, and then Stormy sued them, and then she won $500,000, and then two were fired and two suspended?

Ron DeSantis has a different sense of low cunning and that's why he's being more explicit in his declarations that he is off the people I am one of you, as it were, instead of Trump's I am your Retribution.  But, DeSantis does not have the Trump's "Gift of Gab" and is too stilted in his delivery.

So, now the watch is on.  Who will be the first to shiv Trump?  Right now, all the Republicans are per formatively beating their breasts, wailing, and tweeting furiously at this "Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda" but, eventually as the 2024 campaign gets closer someone is going to have to say Trump needs too step aside.  But, the problem is all the Republicans know whoever does that will be a Target for Trump vitriol and lose the support of the Extreme MAGA, without which they can not win the 2024 Primary.

What each potential Republican candidate wants to do is to step forward and pretend to be Mark Anthony in Julius Caesar.  Then they can declare their undying love for Trump, and bewail the Martyred Prince, and how the Democrats aided by the BLM/Antifa/FBI/LGBTQ+/Soros/DeepState stole the Prince who was Promised from them... and why you should support me and I will exact your Revenge upon them.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is planning to come to Elmhurst on Monday, according to the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police.

On Thursday, the organization invited members to see the Republican governor at a yet-to-be-disclosed site in Elmhurst. Doors are set to open at 3:30 p.m.

According to the invitation, the location will be revealed 48 hours before the "Back the Blue" event. The invitation said DeSantis would speak about law enforcement.

DeSantis is just the type of vile vicious asshole who appeals to Catanzara.  But, even worse High School Girl humping Ron, as he gears up for his Presidential Run in 2024, is seeking to bolster his support amongst dirtbag Officers who adore his Quasi-Fascist policies.  I am aghast but unsurprised at the hold Ron DeSantis has over white suburbanites. They love him because he hurts the people they want hurt.

DeSantis has an intoxicating allure for a certain segment of America.  That allure is the promise to unleash America's white power on those who deserve to be put back in their place or eliminated.  Conservatives see in DeSantis the unfulfilled promise of Trump.  Cops especially...

Now, DeSantis supporters are livid.  They think Ron is the natural successor to Trump's Semi-Fascist Movement.  Conservatives love the way DeSantis hurts people whom they want to be hurt.

It also illustrates why DeSantis is so vociferous in his false piety concerning "Protecting the Children!"

Used to be everybody agreed with it.  Now it just seems like there’s a concerted effort to be exposing kids more and more to things that are not age appropriate.”  Spoken unironically by a grotesque fat ass. 

DeSantis like all Republicans gets away with saying one thing while his actions are in complete opposition.  But, don't expect Ron DeSantis child groping and grooming of High school girls to put rightwingers off of him.  In fact, his perverse pedophila is no doubt going to make them cling to him tighter; just as conservatives did with Boofer O'Kavanaugh in his nomination for the Supreme Court.  Roy Moore was almost elected to Senate despite his lifetime ban for local malls for pursuing teenagers.

The woman next to Ron is Mercedes Schlapp, whom you might recognize for her virulent and vile anti-LGBTQ campaign.  Which makes absolute sense since her husband Matt Schlapp was recently outed as a sexual abuser for pummeling a man's crotch during a campaign event for Herschel Walker on October 19th.

While working I've had several run-ins with well-to-do white suburban women who tell me how much they love DeSantis and tell me 'You must love him too...' 

But, standing in the way of DeSantis' Presidential aspirations is a 350lb obstacle.  Like the rest of the Republican Party DeSantis is waiting for Trump to die.

So, Jair Bolsonaro the leader who arguably killed more of his citizens than Ron DeathSantis moved to Orlando, Florida and strolled down the street like an exalted foreign potentate has now launched on Trump Style Insurrection Brazil.

Around 150 people were arrested, local media reported.

And it's incontrovertible that if Donald John Fucking Traitor Trump had been in office during the 2022 Brazil Election Bolsanaro would have denied the results, arrested Lula and his supporters, stayed in Office and instituted a Junta.  Recall Traitor Trump was silent when the paramilitary goons of Turkish Dictator Erdoğan, attacked a group of mostly American protesters outside the Turkish ambassador’s residence in Washington, D.C. 9 Americans were wounded by the Turkish guards.

Did Ron DeSantis have any pre-knowledge of the Coup Attempt?  Did Ron DeSantis provide aid to Bolsanaro?  Did DeSantis facilitate the strategy or provide Florida as a staging and planning with this?  Did Mike Flynn meet with Bolsonaro?  Did DeSantis have a plane standing by to jet Bolsonaro back to Brazil if his supporters started and the military toppled the Lula Government?

Donald Trump will be the GQP nominee in 2024.  Period.  As with Lady Gaga's song Bad Romance (The Fame Monster 2009), the Republican Party is wedded to Donald J. Traitor Trump til death do them part.  Not because Trump is a Svengali but, because he represents everything Republicans are and everything they want to be.

Ron DeSantis isn't going to challenge Trump because of many reasons.  DeSantis may want to run against Biden as a youthful winner and tempt rightwingers with visions of the DOJ and Executive branch of the Federal Government being weaponized against the Non-MAGA the same way DeSantis did in Florida but, unless Traitor Trump falls over dead DeSantis is going to wait to unleash rightwing fury in 2028, presumably against Vice President Kamala Harris, whom Faux News and Republicans are going to spend the next 6 years smearing as they try to build a recreate a combination of the rightwing anger at Barack and HRC for Kamala Harris.

In the meantime, Trump is going to try and recreate the atmosphere of 2015-2016, and I believe the rightwing media will quickly fall in line behind him and the Corporate Media will again force feed Trump's addled spirochete infected speeches on us while they provide massive amounts of free airtime to a thieving traitor who tried to overthrow the United States Government.

So called once in a lifetime extreme weather events seemingly happen monthly now.  This year it's deluges and unbearable heat spikes.  Last year tornadoes.  Flooding...  Massive Raging Wildfires...  A few years ago, massive Hurricanes...

And now massive Hurricanes again!

Ian is going to make landfall tonight in and around Charolette County Florida.  That's the Gulf side of the dangly weenie state of Florida.  Ian intensified to a near-Category 5 Hurricane overnight and currently has sustained 155mph winds.  At this point (1000 hours) it's too late to safely evacuate the area and all residents are advised to shelter in place.

Florida's population has increased dramatically as the Boomers flee to the warm clime;  One -Sixth of Florida's population is over 65 and 3/4ths of Florida 21,000,000 people live in coastal regions.  As Hurriance frequency and intensity increases so will the damage done to the coastal regions.  Now, of course Federal relief and assistance is going to go to Florida after Ian and after each of the successive Category 4 and 5 hurricanes.  After all the President is Joe Biden not George W(orst Ever) Bush.  So, unlike NOLA, Florida will receive more than just a photo-op fly-over and "Heckva a job Brownie" speech.  

The problem going forward is, as they do with everything, Republicans decided man-made climate change which is incontrovertible, is a choice wedge issue.  

I have little doubt the future DeSantis Presidency will see benefit in denying federal disaster funds to California and other liberal states while the GQP continues their decades long plan of diverting federal monies to rightwing groups and Republican led states while subverting the United States of America and reducing the majority of We, the People into wage slaves shackled in perpetual corporate bondage.

The worst thing you can do in America is accurately describe the actions and motivations of Republicans.  It's the Corporate Media's job to uncritically repeat all the Republicans fact-free claims and false assertions while throwing their hands up and saying there is no way to know if Republicans are telling the truth or not.

Ron DeSantis is a human trafficking kidnapper.  I certainly hope the investigation and possible class action lawsuit uncovers and makes Ron DeSlavery subject to consequences for his actions but, Republicans have realized that by constantly committing crimes and rushing headlong into scandal after scandal they can overwhelm the justice system and the media into letting them get away with it.  Additionally, rightwing media will never punish a Republican for being a bigot or criminal.  Indeed the entire rightwing media apparatus came into existence to succor, obfuscate, and defend Republican perfidy.

DeSantis, of course, barely won his Governorship even though he employed overt racism and has since run rampant through the state like a cliched meth-addled Florida Man.  Killing the elderly, attacking education, empowering bigots, demonizing LGBTQ person, and using Veterans as cudgels to disenfranchise teachers.

This is all designed to endear DeSantis to rightwingers across the USA who yearn to put this slightly smarter Trump into Office so he can do to the Nation what he's done to Florida.  So, it should come as no surprise Ron DeSlavery would fund a scheme to dupe Asylum seekers and migrants to round-up and fly them to Martha's Vineyard and film the whole thing thinking he was going to epically #OwntheLibs. 

DeSantis is a vile excuse for a human and the quintessential Republican Governor; portly, pudgy, pouty, pretentious, petulant, putrid, a perfect poltroon.

Listen to this disjointed and falsehood filled press conference gave trumpeting his kidnapping scheme.  There's so much criminality and inhumanity with this story and the flop sweat, backpedaling, lying, attempts at distraction, and varying rationales for the kidnapping going on that multiple Republicans from Ted Cruz to Marco Rubio (beneficiaries of asylum themselves but, willing to pull the ladder up so others can't benefit) are flooding Faux News and elsewhere in the rightwing hermetically sealed bubble with shit so white conservative bigots can continue to think this wasn't illegal and inhumane.

But, while every reason Republicans proffer is a lie or fabrication what is true is conservatives throughout social media and the Nation acted as thought this totally Owned those Libs!  Hard!  The truth doesn't matter to rightwing drones at all.  Conservative talking heads and on-line propagandists have created a hermetically sealed bubble in which conservatives can hear all the lies they want and it totally confirms their beliefs.  Facts on the ground don't matter. 

These type of illegal actions by elected Republicans, and associated low-level terrorism by rightwing Paramilitary groups are going to increase from now on because conservatives are fully-fascist now but, lack the courage to engage in open warfare with the government because they hope to win enough statehouses in 2022 so they can subvert the federal government in 2024 and then use the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary to make their Fascist Fundamentalist Nation a legal reality.

If these stunts are so awesome I wonder why we aren't hearing from the people who are transporting the kidnapped migrants to liberal cities?  Certainly, it's important to locate the paid Firm who conducted DeSantis Martha's Vineyard scheme.  But, why aren't we hearing from the pilots?  Why aren't they being given James O'Keefe style interviews of Faux News?  Why aren't we reading their 1000 word sub stack missives, I flew that plane and I loved it.  Maybe, because the Just Following Orders defense is all they've got right now.

Last September DeSlavery enacted several immigration executive orders, including one which,

banned Florida agencies from providing assistance in transporting to the state migrants apprehended at the southwest border, who don't have legal status in the country.

So, it's clear DeSantis is using federal and state tax payer dollars to effect this kidnapping scheme.  This is of course in line with privatization efforts in which Republicans steal money from the American people and funnel it to their friends and allies just like Brett Favre and former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant.

It's going to come out that like all Republicans DeSantis is using the power of government to pilfer public money but, by the time anyone investigates or releases this report DeSantis expects to be in the White House.  The Intercept discovered the airline Vetrol received the public money from DeSantis after they had contributed mightily to his campaign, a clear kick-back scheme Republicans always use.

Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are the highest profile kidnappers and human traffickers in America.  For weeks, I've been bombarded by YouTube's rightwing algorithm pestering me to choose where to send Biden's Migrant Buses next.  No matter how many times I click the don't show me this inappropriate ad again it comes back.

Greg Abattoir has been rounding-up human beings by gunpoint and sending them to various states in order to #OwntheLibs, this is a widely popular move amongst conservatives who love when people are mistreated and sent off to unknown places.  I mentioned back then that besides the horrific inhumanity of the actions it's also training for when Republicans decide to round-up other "illegals" and send them to concentration camps.  I have no doubt that conservatives would support the mass murder of millions of people in the name of Law&Order.

As I've mentioned before allowing Republicans to stake out claims to being the party of Christianity or Law&Order or "Pro-Life was a mistake and it's one of the biggest lies the Corporate Media continues to help Reactionary Republicans propagate.  Greg Abbott's lawless pro-gun, anti-infrastructure policies kills thousands of Texans every year.  Meanwhile, Ron DeathSentence killed at least 100,000 people in Florida by incessantly lying about Covid and Vaccines.  Since then he's engaged in #OwntheLibs executive actions and legislation which is inhumane and unchristian. 

And that's the point;  Republicans are not Christian in any way.  Neither are they for the Rule of Law.  Nor are the Pro-Life.  Republicans are vile, cruel, vindictive terrorists who have nothing to offer the American people but, bile and rancor.  The fascist conservatives on Twitter and their non-stop shit posting demonstrated how evil rightwingers have become and how much they yearn to kill Americans.

So, DeSantis lawless gotcha libs moment by abducting 50 human beings from Texas, through Florida, to Martha's Vineyard is more than just some stunt.  DeathSentence used taxpayer money, and I'm not certain any type of proper and legal investigation determined the immigration status of the people lured to the flight with lies but, the generous reaction of the people of Massachusetts really demonstrated how little regard Republicans have for actual human life.  Besides all the breast beating about abortion, the treatment of refugees and the constant repetition about "illegal" immigrants highlights the brutal inhumanity which lives deep in the dark psyche and twisted souls of Republicans.

Of course, the people who have been dealing with these political stunts have been treating the frightened, mistreated refugees in accordance with Jesus' teachings.  For whatever that's worth... Because it doesn't matter one whit to conservatives.  Conservative Jesus is a murdering bigot who tortures his enemies and teaches Americans hatred.

And as Republicans ratchet up their "political stunts" it's clear conservatives decided to totally scrap the Constitution and make up laws that suit the moment and justify their headlong rush into full-blown Fascism.  The Constitution of has No Authority any longer as - The Right's goal is to Rule America or Ruin it.

Josh Marshall and the writers over at Talking Points Memo have uncovered and written about the nefarious lies used to entice the migrants and Reagan-esque bypassing of official government employees by using someone named "Perla" to get these people on board the flight.  DeSantis and The on-line FASH obviously thought this would be a giant cluster of affluent liberals calling the Police and demanding the "illegals" be removed.  Even now rightwing liars on Twitter claim the libs of Massachusetts forcibly deported these people whom DeSantis abducted.  The headlong flight into 100% propaganda and non-stop lies is complete, conservatives have no connection to reality.  Of course, in reality, that doesn't matter since the subjective rightwing universe is all that matters to them.

Will the Corporate Media push the Rightwing Trucker Boogaloo

In a repeat of the Tea Party nonsense, I see the Corporate Media is back to amplifying and providing undue coverage to minuscule conservative propaganda campaigns.  Even the slenderest of rightwing tantrums is treated as though it's a spontaneous uprising of the Great Masses of Real America!  E.g. Mom's for Liberty! Enter the non-stop coverage of Truckers fighting Covid Tyranny! 

For years rightwing media has known if they constantly and consistently repeat their talking points, the Corporate Media world will be forced to (or willingly) cover the nonsense and often just regurgitates the framing crafted by right-wingers.  

For weeks, Rightwing media hyped the Canadian Convoy (funded primarily by American conservatives and comprised mainly of Canadian Fascists) as an expression of "freedom".  Conservative luminaries, like Candeath Owens and Dilbert Scott Adams, proposed seriously that Prime Minister Trudeau should be forcibly removed by U.S. Armed Forces and rightwingers across the Nation, from he lowliest Alex Jones troglodyte to Arch-Traitor Donald John Trump himself declared Trudeau was far more of a dictator than Vladimir Putin, 

"The tyranny we have witnessed in Canada in recent weeks should shock and dismay people all over the world," Trump said.

Such statements wholly divorced from reality and of sheer buffoonery only makes sense when you understand The Right lives in a completely sealed media bubble, breathing in and regurgitating the same noxious nonsense to each other over and over again, until it becomes concentrated bullshit.  But, it would be nice if outside the bubble the media would focus more on what these rightwing temper tantrums almost always turn out to be; i.e. huge opportunities for grifters to fleece MAGA morons.

Illinois Governor candidate Gary Rabine (Nazi Party) who's slated to get 5% of the vote in the coming primary attached himself to the Convoy in a feeble attempt to jump-start his flaccid campaign.  Even Illinois Republicans, who flirt with fascism, probably won't be excited about Gary's performative assholery. 

Nothing about conservatives should shock or surprise anymore.  The Republican Party is dead.  Conservative political thought long ago morphed into "Own the Libs" and abandoned their so-called principles, ethics, values, morals, and beliefs.  Conservatives live on hatred and a fanatical desire to punish those they hate; We, the American People.

But, the Corporate Media can not acknowledge this stark truth because to do so would be to cast doubt on their rhetoric since Ronnie Raygun.  And worse yet, it would illustrate how they have helped the fascist beast grow and thrive... 

And so when despicable Ron DeSantis was ignoring Covid spikes which have thus far killed upwards of 100,000 Florida residents, the Corporate Media couldn't get enough of his terse press conferences and his pugnacious attitude.  When rightwing media declared Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has won the Pandemic over and over, the Corporate Media world adopted their framing (as they always do).  

So, what's happening since the Media adopted him? DeSantis has pushed bills criminalizing children and their parents for their biology.  Florida is crafting and passing laws making it illegal to vote Republicans out of office and setting up a law enforcement agency to track down those who vote the wrong way, DeSantis brazenly berates children at his press conferences because their wearing masks irritates him. 

Like Youngkin and every other Republican Governor, DeSantis didn't run on a campaign of Nazi Assholery (unlike Gary Rabine in Illinois) because that doesn't win.  But once in office DeSantis dropped any pretense of equanimity and simply let his rank assholishness and deplorable vile temper rule the state while subverting good governance and enshrining fascism into law.

I fear come 2024 the Corporate Media will push DeSantis the way they always push GOP Assholes as he runs for President...
