Drunk Derrick Van Orden (aka Jussie Smolett) shows how Republicans will Weaponize the Department of Justice

 Yep. Drunk Van Orden is vile lying sack of shit and complete discredit to the United States Naval Service as he continues to violate his Oaths of Office.  During the Wisconsin RNC Drunk Van Orden ran into a Codepink protestor and then demanded she be arrested for "assaulting him".  The woman Nour Jaghama was arrested and held for 15 hours.  What a fucking liar.  Van Orden's a big man and a Navy SEAL.  How small is this CodePink woman?

Of course, it is no surprise he made this claim against a tiny minority woman, affiliated with far Leftist organization, like CodePink.  He viewed her as someone he can bully and hurt.  Immediately, Drunk Van Orden took to his social media to decry the "political violence" he, Donald Trump, and other Republicans are facing.  It's been a long standing Republican policy to gin up a false charge so they can deflect from their own actions and cry Victim!  We've already seen Pro-Palestinian Genocide rightwingers pull this stunt several times during counter-protests, as when rightwing liar Sahar Tartak claimed to have been stabbed in the eye during a Yale protest and was invited to speak on numerous Faux News segments.

Drunk Van Orden gave a preview of how Republicans will utilize state-sanctioned violence against anyone who opposes the Racist Rapist Rightwing Agenda.  Republicans claims about the "Weaponized Department of Justice" were a fucking admission of how they are going to round-up and eliminate people who resist or protest their fascist agenda.

Remember it's not that Drunk Van Orden believes he was attacked it's what pretending to believe he was attacked gives him license to do.

But, it also demonstrates while there are good Officers who will not Just Follow Orders, there is a huge segment of the LEO community who yearn to be unleashed to "bash hippies"like their grandaddies did.  And even though, Nour Jaghama was released without charges 

The anti-war protester accused by Wisconsin Rep. Derrick Van Orden of assault this week at the Republican National Convention will not face charges after prosecutors said they found "insufficient" evidence to back up the accusations.

Kent Lovern, the chief deputy district attorney for Milwaukee County, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the evidence in the case, including police body camera footage, "is insufficient to support a criminal charge" against the Code Pink activist Nour Jaghama.

I guarantee you any Police Officer aware of this arrest aren't mad at Drunk Van Orden for lying and filing false charges.  No, they are bitching about how this Woke DEI liberal DA won't charge criminals and are pinning for Trump to get into Office so they can go put some Law&Order back into America.  These same Officers will still reference "Juicy Smo-lay" as the example of how some people should never be believed and all of those people file false reports.  

We saw the type of Law&Order Police Officers (and college campus Administrators) want to impose on the Nation during the despicable response to Anti-Genocide protests at college campuses.  Where the immediate reaction to any protest which had a whiff of leftist agitation was met with overwhelming and immediate violence.  And understand the Republicans want there to be large protests during Trump's Administration.  They will use the protests presence to unleash their brutal death squads.  Faux News and other rightwing propagandists will obfuscate, sow confusion about the issues and use the protests as a pretext to call for crackdowns.  And Republicans want to unleash more than just arrests, Tom Cotton and others want to murder protesters outright and have been providing vocal support to extrajudicial killings, not only by Police Officers but, by rightwing paramilitary criminals as well. 

And the Corporate Media will simply ignore the Protestors as they did in 2003 during the Iraq War and the regurgitate Republican lies and Police department propaganda like they did circa 2014-2020, during BLM protests. 

Things look bleak, and Fascists already have too much power, but everything not lost.  Right now you have a chance to convince people to vote against Republican tyrants and traitors.  Vote like your life depends on it because other people do and Republicans are never satisfied.

Two hours after his post on X, we received a death threat, saying: "The next Palestinian protest in the street. I'm going to get my semi truck and run over you fucking faggots and make road pancake out of you you fucking cunt. I hope you all die bitch/"

CODEPINK has reported the death threat to the FBI. We have also demanded that the police release the body cam footage of the incident. And we have filed a complaint against the congressman with the Congressional Ethic Committee.

Ron DeSantis plans to suffocate Democracy and ensconce Fascism (as does every other Republican)

I said long ago, that when law enforcement agencies, Sheriff's departments, big Metropolitan police forces, and your local Officer Friendly were reformed, retrained, or restrained Conservatives would seek to jettison them and create new agencies and empower them to conduct business as usual; i.e. the extrajudicial killing of black people and the ruthless enforcement of a two-tiered justice system which never prosecutes Republicans or rightwingers while bringing the entire weight of the Awesome Power of the State onto anyone who does not help maintain the rigid double standard conservatives have enjoyed since the Founding Fathers wrote the unequal application of Freedom into the Constitution.

You can not use Master's Tools to take down Master's House.  When those tools become "broken" conservatives don't redesign the tool itself but simply replace it 

Remember how angry white people were when President Barblack Oblackma dared to call a white police officer stupid.  Remember how draconian and unconstitutional George W. Bush's Department of Justice acted in spying on Muslims and Anti-War Left groups.  Recall how conservatives freaked out when it was legislated Hispanic immigrants could get Driver's Licenses in Illinois?  Remember how conservatives who all say you can not trust the government implicitly and vociferously accept and defend every single Police kkkilling of black people or even deify white men who choke the life out of black men?

Republicans have received their coordinated talking points that no in reality it's Joe Biden's Department of Justice which has been weaponized and are all on the page of how they will undo this Woke Department of Justice and unhand cuff Our Police.  What Republicans mean is return things to the good old days when Police kept those people in line and were the guard dogs of Plutocracy, White Supremacy and the Patriarchy.

Conservatives have complained for years that "Police" are not hurting the people they are supposed to be hurting.  Republicans are more than willing to feed into this false narrative/belief, that Police have become too woke or have been handcuffed from getting those criminals behind bars.  Only tough on crime Republicans can restore Law&Order.  And that seems to be the main thrust of Ron Phony Bronze Star DeSantis is taking in his quest to win the Presidency.

“We’re not going to let all this power accumulate in Washington, we’re going to break up these agencies,” DeSantis said during a private strategy session over the weekend, excerpts of which were obtained exclusively by RCP. He vowed in that call to order “some of the problematic components of the DOJ” be uprooted, reorganized, and then promptly “shipped to other parts of the country.”

“We’ve seen throughout this country that the DOJ and the FBI are controlled by one faction of our society,” DeSantis said on the call, pointing to how those agencies were “going after pro-life activists,” wrongfully investigating parents at school board meetings “who are concerned about things like critical race theory, and forcing kids to wear masks,” and “colluding with tech companies to censor information such as what they did with the 2020 election.”

I must point out that nothing DeSantis is proposing is in anyway new.  Conservatives absolutely adore the unequal application of laws, and the targeting of people for their ideological beliefs.  What conservatives hate is when they are subject to their own standard.    This is standard Conservative Orthodoxy along with the complaints that starting in the 1960's and accelerating recently the Federal Government isn't doing the job the way it is supposed to.   Conservatives believe "The Law" and all Police Agencies exist to punish people they don't like and look the other way at their own offenses.  No matter what the offense may be.  Observe the absolute ridiculous rightwing defense of the Trump inspired and Republican lead successful attempt to obstruct and delay the transfer of power on January 6th.  That, of course, is merely the largest most obvious example of the double standard conservatives demand from law enforcement.  Conservatives committing crimes aren't actually committing crimes and even if they are committing crimes those who committed crimes should, if they are conservatives, get away with it.

Mike Pence and Ron DeSantis prayers are Answered! Donald Trump indicted! Two-Tiered Justice!

He's "Indicated".  He's Running*.

Traitor Trump has been indicted.  It would be fantastic if this breaks the dam open for future charges, including the attempt to steal the 2020 Georgia election for the perfectly infamous phone calls (including one just revealed two and a half years later), the Special Counsel investigating Trump's stealing of Classified Documents from the United States, and of course, the Attempt to Overthrow the Government of the United States on January 6th 2021.

But, if I have to have Trump, who's been committing crimes since the 1970's, arrested for his gross sexual escapades, so be it.  Also as a reminder, remember when it was revealed disgusting toad-stool dick Trump arranged to have a tryst with Stormy Daniels and then illegally paid her off with campaign donations and in revenge those Dirty Trump humping Columbus Ohio Vice Squad entrapped Stormy Daniels and arrested her for illegal touching in 2018, and then she was RWOC, and then Stormy sued them, and then she won $500,000, and then two were fired and two suspended? 

A two-tiered system justice is what rightwingers have always wanted and what they've attempted to ensconce into law via "Religious Liberty" and "State's Rights" arguments since the 1960's.  Plus, the Unequal Application of Laws is also a key component of Fascism, which is the goal of the Republican Party.  However, Donald Trump understands this only in as much as it benefits him; thats why his outbursts are rally round him, defend him, protest for him, fight for him.  Trump saw the generations long grift set up by Republicans and swooped in to pick the easy fruit but, he doesn't know how to or care to share the spoils.  His understanding of the rightwing mind is one of an Amoral User of a sociopath.

Ron DeSantis has a different sense of low cunning and that's why he's being more explicit in his declarations that he is off the people I am one of you, as it were, instead of Trump's I am your Retribution.  But, DeSantis does not have the Trump's "Gift of Gab" and is too stilted in his delivery.

So, now the watch is on.  Who will be the first to shiv Trump?  Right now, all the Republicans are per formatively beating their breasts, wailing, and tweeting furiously at this "Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda" but, eventually as the 2024 campaign gets closer someone is going to have to say Trump needs too step aside.  But, the problem is all the Republicans know whoever does that will be a Target for Trump vitriol and lose the support of the Extreme MAGA, without which they can not win the 2024 Primary.

What each potential Republican candidate wants to do is to step forward and pretend to be Mark Anthony in Julius Caesar.  Then they can declare their undying love for Trump, and bewail the Martyred Prince, and how the Democrats aided by the BLM/Antifa/FBI/LGBTQ+/Soros/DeepState stole the Prince who was Promised from them... and why you should support me and I will exact your Revenge upon them.

As Election Day is long past at least I don't have to see the political ads featuring Joe Rogan's fat fascist head talking about   OMG!No Bail in Illinois anymore!

The SAFE-T Act was an excellent step in Illinois not only to address Police abuses but, the well-known inequities in the application of criminal procedure, especially in the which defendants are allowed to bail themselves out awaiting trial.  You see rich people can always get themselves out of detention while awaiting their trial but, poor people are often kept in custody for long periods of time.

In response, white rightwingers in Illinois lost their minds and engaged in a bigoted fear campaign of unprecedented fury.  Powerful racist white bureaucrats took to the papers with false scenarios and filed a various lawsuits across the State.  Eventually a "class action lawsuit" by the Illinois States Attorney's from 57 Illinois Counties were consolidated into a hearing in Kankakee County on December 9th.  On December 28th, Judge Thomas Cunnington ruled the "No Cash Bail" provision to be unconstitutional.  Setting up an eventual Illinois Supreme Court ruling on the provision.  Which I guarantee is going to overturn Judge Cunnington's ruling because tying a defendant's ability to bail themselves out specifically to money is a clear-cut violation of the Illinois Constitution. 

The Public Defenders Office of Cook County released a statement as the Illinois Supreme Court issued a last minute stay just prior to the implementation of the Pre-Trial Fairness section of the SAFE-T Act,

Money bond is a deplorable practice, and it is high time that Illinois abolish a system that punishes people – most of them Black and Brown – for being poor. We decry the frivolous lawsuit that was brought against the Pretrial Fairness Act almost two years after it was signed into law. We continue to look forward to a day in the near future when Illinois will move forward as a beacon for our nation, reforming our inequitable pretrial legal system.

Remember it's important to always note that when rightwingers wail about CRIME! CRIME! CRIME! they mean BLACK! BLACK! BLACK!  "Crime" and "Chicago" is code for black people.  Conservatives believe black people are predisposed to be criminals.  So when they have a freak out about OMG! No Cash Bail! it's because conservatives believe all black people are a priori criminals and thus the SAFE-T Act lets hardened criminals out of jail.

Additionally in this fear mongering is the subtle or unsubtle claim by State's Attorney's and Police Chiefs that everyone arrested, regardless of race, is ipso facto guilty.  And this gets to the syllogistic conclusion, which the opponents of cash-less bail are actually proposing; i.e. that once someone is arrested they can never be released.  Ever.  And no this is not hyperbole.  Anyone arrested has ostensibly committed a crime once and therefore could commit some crime in the future, so based on this possibility shouldn't every person arrested be kept in custody until such time as their trial occurs?

It's predicated on the belief that white people are inherently good and if they happen to get involved in crimes it is due to them being the wrong place at the wrong time or getting caught up in a situation which somehow got out of hand.  Whereas black (and brown) people are a priori guilty of something so if the Police kill them in an extrajudicial violation of the 4th Amendment well that saves the taxpayers the cost of a trial.

Now certainly a white person can abdicate his inherent get out of jail free card, usually by acting like a "mope" or being a liberal squish or advocating for criminal justice reform or sometimes by being poor.

But, if all one is doing is trying to Make America Great Again well then latitude, mercy, and all sorts of accommodations are coming your way.

Evil Frodo Riley Williams Nazi Garb

Riley Williams is a little Nazi Magat, who actively broke into the Capitol on January 6th with thousands of other domestic terrorists.  Once inside Riley made her way to Speaker Pelosi's Office and stole the laptop from the desk in the Office.

Whatever her plans for the laptop and I have to conclude besides a vague idea of downloading all the evidence of Voter Fraud or Deep State nefariousness or selling it to the Russians these actions were not a spur of the moment but a long sequence of crimes showing clear intent and a determined mental state.

Of course, since her arrest she's flouted Judge's orders, lied to her probation Officers, and demanded the trial be moved from Washington DC to central Pennsylvania because she can't get a fair trial in DC but, can get one on her homeground (wink wink).

But, as we approach Labor Day, Riley is worried she will miss an annual summer tradition; Renaissance Fairs!  So besides petitioning to have her trial moved Riley requested special leave to attend the Pennsylvannia Renfair this weekend.

After all, Riley isn't a "mope" but, a good person caught up in a swirl of events that got out of hand.
