The Poor don't Pay enough in Taxes

"What the Poor lack is a Richness of Spirit..." Stuart Varney, Faux News
One of the constant refrains of Right-Wingers is 49% or 51% or whatever number is convenient don't pay taxes! This is dropped on blog comments as the Ultimate Winner for Conservatives. It's a lie. But, it allows Republican bureaucrats to propose their Screw-The-Poor tax policies.

What's the Matter with Kansas Governor Sam Brownback and the Republican House have proposed a tax cut for the super Rich which would be covered by increasing taxes on the extremely poor. Half a million of the state’s poorest residents who earn less than $25,000 will wind up paying an average of $72 more per year to cover the budget shortfall caused by taxcuts for tge Rich

Either it really chaps the hides of Right-Wingers that some mother of 3 making $25,000 a year gets earned income credits lowering her taxable income to a few thousand. Or they are super jealous that disabled people are receiving SSI Disability pay from the Government! How dare they! Money for nothing! Those disabled people are using that SSI money to stay at a Motel 6. The height of luxury!

Surprise! The 3 Republican Candidates Santorum the Creep, Mitt the Vulture and Newtradamus the Hypocrite have all proposed tax plans which raise taxes on the poor and the middle class while cutting taxes for the Rich.

Mitt Romney's proposed tax plan favors the wealthiest Americans the top one percent of earners would see their average tax rate fall by nearly $150,000 per year, and the top 0.1 percent would see a reduction of more than $725,000. That's nearly a million more per year Mitt could off-shore! Meanwhile, Mitt's plan raises taxes on the bottom 20 percent of Americans who would see their average federal taxes increase $149, or 1.3 percent.

It's sickening the thought process of Republicans and it's incredible the power they exert over conservatives getting them to continually vote over and over for a group of pampered bureaucrats who use their elected office to beat down those same voters who just elected them. Conservatives are the battered and abused spouses of the Republican Party.

This is more than an attack on women. It is a systematic campaign to make it clear that anyone who speaks out against the Conservative agenda will have their life destroyed.

It seems to me that this puts us about in the same place as Germany about 1922 or 1923, when members of the Weimar government were subjected to similar vicious attacks. I guess, if Obama wins reelection, that will put us three or four years from the time where anyone who speaks out against Conservatives in any forum is likely to be subjected to attacks and beatings. And virtually no one with a real voice is willing to tell the truth about what is happening. The right in this country is losing its grip on things, and it is not going to go down without doing as much damage to the country as possible.

Even if I were a "battered and abused spouse" that's better than having been slaughtered in an abortion clinic.

Anonymous,

I'm not certain about this but, based solely on your single comment and without any other evidence it appears likely that the world and America would have been better off if you were aborted.
