There was a mass shooting as the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade ended.  The result 2 killed, 20 confirmed injured (half of the children), perhaps two or three suspects have been detained.  I guess with thousands present it could have been far worse.

Now we begin the kabuki dance, which accompanies these events,  conservatives will slag Liberal Democrat Kansas City and point out it's full of BLACKS (Kansas City has a rich history and connection to African Americans in sports),  Republicans will offer up their hollow thoughts and prayers, Gun Nuts will blame gun free zones, and despite the American people overwhelmingly wanting gun control and restrictions on firearms the Government will be unable to act.

Now, this is not a BothSides issue, I'm not blaming those Clowns in Congress.  The Republicans party is owned by the Firearms Manufacturing Industry and the Supreme Court is run by 6 unjust mullahs who put their warped minds above the health and welfare of the American people and believe their divinely inspired wisdom is above any human made laws.

Of course, this will not move Republicans towards any type of gun control or any efforts to limit gun violence in America.  Jello-Brained Trump, still upset over Tayler Swift and Travis Kelce spurning his advances, proudly proclaimed, 

"Nobody took care of our Second Amendment [more than me], during that four-year period, nothing happened with our Second Amendment," Treasonous Trump who fundamentally broke The Law and violated his oath to office as President declared he'll fully "uphold our great Second Amendment". 

Even well before Trump decided to destroy the United States of America, because President Obama made fun of him, Gun Violence has served Republican interests as a source of political power and money for Republican officials.

And MAGA culture (such as it is) cares nothing about the deaths from gun violence, because rightwingers don't care about society or anyone other than themselves.  All conservative caterwauling about protecting the children is utter tripe and pure performative bullshit.

Conservatives know they won't be victims to gun violence because; they have their guns with them at all times and they don't go into libtard-controlled, ANTIFA/BLM destroyed, smoking hellhole cities.  Conservatives live the pure fantasy life of a gun wielding movie character, the actual reality and actuarial statistics about gun deaths and violence are no more real to them than President Biden and VP K. Harris election victory in 2020.

Rightwingers are the Righteous and the Chosen ones; the Real Americans.  And why shouldn't they believe it?  The Corporate Media does everything it can to seek them out and elevate their false beliefs, Politicians (especially Republicans but, many Clinton Era Democratic ones) cater to their whims and delusions, and mainstream culture has always made a concerted effort to glorify their ideology (hence the rightwing outrage when Hollyweird is ramming that gay agenda down their throats).

In response to the shooting, tough talkin' Republican bigots (running for Governor) took to Cylon Musk's Nazi social media and declared THUGS and told those liberal gun grabbers the MO GOP will ensure children have guns to shoot other children whenever they want in Missouri.  Also one good guy with a gun could have stopped this shooting meaning the 1000 Police Officers at the Parade are according to Republican Bill Eigl not Good Guys...

Understand quite clearly that Republicans will do nothing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about these mass shootings because 1) the random terrorism is the point and 2) Republicans plan to unleash their gun-toting white men to overthrow President Biden when he wins in 2024.

It won't take more than a few seconds of searching to find some gun humping fanatic screaming CHICAGO! CHICAGO!  CHICAGO! and the shooter is a Liberal In response to the latest bearded middle aged, white man, zealous consumer of right wing social media, armed with a super tricked out AR-15 shooting 100 people, with 16 confirmed dead already;

At least 16 people have been killed in shootings in Lewiston, Maine, a law enforcement official said, based on initial information gathered by first responders at three locations. Dozens more were injured, said the person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Authorities were trying to locate Robert Card, 40, a “person of interest” who they said should be regarded as armed and dangerous. The death toll, which could rise, is the largest from a mass shooting this year.  

The Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston says it is responding to a "mass casualty, mass shooter event," and is coordinating with area hospitals to take in patients. The hospital has not shared specifics on the numbers of casualties. 

Lewiston police say the target of the manhunt is connected to shootings at least two locations — including Schemengees Bar and Grille, and Sparetime Recreation, a bowling alley...

This details of this shooting in Maine are almost irrelevant...  Except of course, to the dead, and to their loved ones, and to the hundreds of people traumatized by this and to the thousands of people every year dealing with physical pain and to the hundreds of thousands of people dealing with the psychological aftermath, and to the entire Nation which lives in a constant state of doom and PTSD.

But, as long as one party is fanatically devoted to the political power and money they get from the NRA and Firearms Manufacturing Industry;  This will not stop.  Let's look at the this years NRA report on the organizations efforts to undermine Law&Order in Maine

The NRA article mentions how thanks to their lobbying the Maine Senate "killed" this bill and "Killed" that bill.

In fact, almost every article under the Legal & Legislation topic on the NRA site uses gun violence language to celebrate their defeating the laws Americans overwhelmingly want passed.
 

Reportedly, after the 2019 El Paso Mass Shooting Trump asked, “What are we going to do about assault rifles?”  “Not a damn thing,” Mick Mulvaney, Acting chief of staff, replied.

The Tree of Liberty has received its' daily refreshment of blood, Robert Card is still at large.  His status in the Pantheon of Second Amendment Heroes is assured and will inspire future rightwing domestic terror attacks.

Anna P. Luna is a psychotic liar whose only redeeming feature is there happen to be even more psychotic Republican Liars such as Major Traitor Greene, "George Santos" and Dick Exposer L. Boebert in Congress.

The nice reporters at NPR had a story about Stand Your Ground Laws.  They interviewed researchers.  Presented facts.  Complied data.  And presented it in that low gentle soft voice NPR is known for.

They still don't understand.  No reasoned argument will ever convince the Republican Gun Nuts to pull back.  NPR and so many others still want to believe the proper mix of facts and speech is the magic this one-weird trick which will reveal the truth to Republicans but, they don't realize that Republicans no longer cynically endorse guns and the Firearms Industry to get votes.  Republicans have been stewing in rightwing Moron Labe Tyranny for so long this is who they are now;  Fascists.

Not, to put a bummer on this gorgeous Spring Day but, Republicans are already engaged in a low-level Civil War against Us.

By flooding the Nation with 400,000,000 firearms and undercutting local, State, and Federal Gun laws and restrictions the Gun Humping Maniacs, Republicans, the NRA, and firearms manufacturing industry have turned the Nation and 2nd Amendment into a Murder-Suicide Pact.  But, that's not the end goal.  

The end goal is an armed Coup begun by tip of the spear Rightwing Paramilitary domestic terrorists and then 

slowly but inexorably pulling in sympathetic Law Enforcement and Military to enforcing their Putsch.  Always remember rightwingers don't expect to defeat the military or National Guard in open conflict, they expect them to coalesce around them and help them neutralize or eliminate those military members of law enforcement personnel who don't.

Republicans have normalized the talk of overthrowing the government and unfitted access to all manner of weaponry to make Americans comfortable with it because on their next Jan6th (which Just to be Clear the Republican Party has come to defend and endorse) they plan to use guns early and often. 

This was always the point of the so-called "Stand Your Ground" Laws.  Coupled with this has been to enshrine subjective fear for my life court rulings.  Thus, everyone can claim to be "afraid for their lives" and ipso facto claim self-defense.  Obviously, this doesn't always work in every court case but, it's a starting point and make prosecution of these murders difficult.  As we saw Kenosha Killer Kyle Rittenhouse specifically went to Wisconsin to carry a gun and shoot people and then he did just that.  But, during his ridiculous hearing he was allowed to blubber on stand about his fears despite inserting himself into the situation with an AR-15.

Anxious to emulate, Kenosha Killer Kyle, in Texas Daniel Kelly posted multiple times on multiple social media platforms his desire to shoot and murder protesters.  After his trial and guilty conviction based on overwhelming evidence, rightwing propagandists revved up their Wurlitzers of lies to claim Perry's murder of Garrett Foster was "justified self-defense".  Fvcker Carlson did multiple segments on it and Texas Governor Greg Abbott swiftly declared his plan to get a pardon for convicted killer Perry.

“Texas has one of the strongest ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws of self-defense that cannot be nullified by a jury or a progressive District Attorney.  I look forward to approving the Board’s pardon recommendation as soon as it hits my desk.” 

Always remember the unequal application of laws is a key component of Fascism.  Fortunately, Texas constrains its' governors so Abbott can not unilaterally override the murder conviction.

Meanwhile, rightwing terrorists in Texas continue to exact a toll on the populace.  Mauricio Garcia, the "RWDS" Killer in Allen, Texas was regular on message boards posting the Republican message of Stochastic Terrorism, i.e. low level violence and "random" massacre which are nearly impossible to specifically predict but, an absolute certainty to happen somewhere in the United States.

But, a key component is to make all the white people deathly afraid of the blacks, this is why Faux News and Rightwing media are constantly harping on "Knock-Out Games" or "Black-on-Black" crime and spreading videos of young blacks "wilding".

The Subway Strangler Daniel Penny who executed a homeless black man is a Hero and being lauded on-line and on regular Fox News programs.

The more Republicans hear about the Discord leaker Jack Teixeira the more they love him, as it turns out Teixeira fantasized about a mass shooting at his school, was overheard by multiple classmates speaking about Molotov cocktails and which rifle was best to use from the back of a pickup.  Teixeira's background was so egregious, the local PD requested the State deny him a firearms owners card.  Major Traitor Greene's darling Teixeira had an arsenal at his home as well.

I think besides NPR, many people in this country don't want to acknowledge what's happening.  I don't blame them.  It's hard to reconcile what we want to believe to what is actually happening.  The Republican Party is a fully fascist organization which does not believe any elected Democrat is legitimate, that the media, education, woke corporations and others are unlawfully restricting their "Natural Rights", stealing elections, stabbing them in the back, and ramming Tyranny down their throats.

All this adds up to the questions more and more conservatives are asking openly, "When do we get to use the guns?"  And as we are seeing more and more conservatives are answering that question with "Right Now."

Keith Self, expressed, his desire to see more people shot to pieces for Christ's holey message,

"Well, those are people that don't believe in an almighty God who, who has, who is absolutely in control of our lives..."

Meanwhile, Megyn White Santa Kelly's twitter is a cesspool of conservatives yearning, begging to get the go ahead to use all their guns they've stockpiled to murder the libs.

Also if you read White Power Megyn's screed the argument isn't that gun control wouldn't solve these mass shootings; its instead two-fold, 1) there are 400,000,000 guns cats outta the bag suck on this libtards and 2) we won the bureaucratic battle of stacking the Courts with psychos who rule our way.

A massive mass shooting at a Sweet 16 party in Alabama and a 16 year old black kid shot for ringing the wrong doorbell

And Faux News has been all over the "Wilding" in downtown Chicago by the young blacks to demonstrate why white America needs 400,000,000 guns, i.e. Blacks may show up at your door and rape your wife, kidnap your white babies, and steal your car.  Shoot'em.  The shooting in Kansas City, MO provides the perfect demonstration of this as 16 year old Ralph Yarl, who *allegedly* went to the wrong door, and the homeowner treated his 10pm ding-dong with hot lead to the head and another while the child lay on the ground.  I say allegedly because the one unforgivable crime in America is to be black.  Whiteness is a panacea which washes clean all Sins.

There is a subtext behind all the ills plaguing America; White Christians are blameless and not guilty of offenses; I t's kind of the White Supremacist version of No True Scotsman fallacy.  No true white person commits a crime, certainly sometimes they might sin, truly sometimes they fall further from grace and commit acts of crime (which can be washed clean through proper penance) and verily some fall completely from grace under the sway of the Devil.  It's why Major Traitor Greene and other Republicans proclaim the January 6th Insurrectionists are political prisoners; White Conservative Christians can not commit major crimes, they can only be lead astray by apostates (Ray Epps!) or false ideologies.

That's why Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Fvcker Carlson can declare convicted murderer Daniel Perry wholly innocent, Stand Your Ground, DGU, Self Defense and advocate for a Pardon for a man who detailed his plan to go out and commit a killing but, a justified killing of those who must not benefit from the protection of Law.  Read the disgusting comments on this Colon Noir NRA video which advocate executing the jurors and killing anyone who might not agree this was murder. 

The Language of White Supremacists has taken hold and is repeated by Faux News and all across comment sections of Youtube, Yahoo! News stories, Twitter and rightwing websites.  The understanding which has emerged under the MAGA- Great Replacement Theory Umbrella is: 

• There would be no crime if it wasn't for black people (addendum or "Mexicans" Build that Wall!)
• There would be no terrorists if it wasn't for Muslims.
• There would be no liberals if their teachers weren't indoctrinating them as children.
• There would be no mental illness if it wasn't for the sick-in-the-head LGBTQ community.  Consequently, all things associated with LGBTQ must be ruthlessly suppressed by the Federal, State and Local Government aided by rightwing Terrorist Groups like the Proud Boys in order to protect the children from falling into the Trans Delusion.

This is why after every mass shooting, white rightwingers immediately get into action on-line declaring the shooter a Liberal, or a registered Democrat, or a member of the LGBTQ community.  No True NRA member has every done a mass shooting.  No upstanding congregant of the White Christian Community ever committed a mass shooting.  And White people are considered upstanding unless they demonstrate any pathos.  You lose your whiteness if:

• If you use drugs like an N-word
• If you abandon Jesus 
• If you don't conform to the rigid Patriarchal gender roles
• If you don't support draconian immigration laws & enforcement 

Conservatives want a Civil War.  In white supremacist parlance this will be the RaHoWa.  Understand that conservatives are not restrained from starting this because of concerns with the fallout of any large scale terrorism campaign, it's that they understand the Deep State and Normie Society are not in their corner on open warfare.  But, if they keep using the Courts (at all levels), and keep enshrining bigotry and hatred into State Laws, and keep up the non-stop whispering campaign against Hunter Biden, and keep up the chaos and apocalyptic "breaking news", when they do launch their next Insurrection and Coup d'etat they hope that 99% society stands by while they neutralize the forces that would try and stop them.  Because once Republicans and Rightwingers declare they've won, and they've seized the levers of government...

And the "Zoomers" and Millenials have taken notice; "You ban books.  You ban drag.  Kids are still in body bags."

3 Democratic members of the Tennessee Congress faced explosion by the Republican White Power supermajority and dutifully expelled the two black members.  Ostensibly this was for "breaking rules"but in reality it was for the temerity of not knowing their place, for the "crime" of Unforgivable blackness, and for a word which rhymes with "Mutiny" but begins with up.

"They tried to shred our constitution with a bullhorn," said Rep. Gino Bulso (R-Bald White Old Bastard), who also described their actions as a "mutiny."  See I told you what made Tennessee Republicans mad was a word which rhymes with mutiny but begins UP...

I am hopeful that the young cohort of America do not follow the path Gen X took; when my generation swallowed the Reaganite Lies about voting not mattering, that we should be too cool to vote, and to not vote man cause it just encourages them, because it was exactly what the Republicans needed to ensure their control of the Government through undemocratic means.

But, in Tennessee after The Covenant School shooting (for which we still don't have any release of the killer's notes, plans and other evidence because it most assuredly details child sex abuse by School and Religious officials). Tennessee Republicans made it absolutely clear; they intended to do nothing about gun violence, the number one killer of children in America, despite rushing through all sorts of laws about LGBTQ and drag to "protect" children.

Republicans elsewhere have rushed through rollbacks on any and every regulation, permit, or licensing on guns and gun owners as Florida Governor Ron DeathAnus quietly signed a law on April 3rd to allow the carrying of firearms without permit or even training, right on the heels of multiple shootings over Spring Break.

Republicans don't give a shit about you.  Republicans are racist to the core, bigoted beyond belief, full of hatred and bile, owned by special interests who pollute the Nation and flood the cities and streets with firearms.  Republicans hate America and have nothing to offer the American people.

Shall Not Be Infringed 5: If only Republicans treated Guns they way they treat Transgender Persons

"[F]or the good of society… transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely,” - Michael Knowles calls for the Eradication of Transgender Persons to raucous applause at CPAC and he's been ramping up the murderous rhetoric for a while now, because first they came for transgender Americans...

If only, Republicans sought to restrict guns they way they are passing laws to eliminate Transgender and non-conformist persons, we might not be losing 40,000+ Americans to gun violence every year with an additional quarter million or more wounded. 

So, here in Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has been busy cleaning up the damage wrought by Mr. 1% of the 1% Billionaire Bruce Ruiner as well as the deferred maintenance required for a proper functioning State.

One of Governor Pritzker and the Democratic Legislatures signature accomplishments was to sign into law restrictions on AR-15 under the Assault Weapons Ban.  But, unfortunately as we have seen numerous times Republicans choose Guns & Death over the lives of Americans.  Thus, with no sense of shame a podunk Republican Judge decided he has the authority to overrule the State Legislature and the Governor,

A judge in Macon County struck down the law, finding that it violates the equal protection and special legislation clauses of the Illinois Constitution.  Governor JB Pritzker responded in a statement Friday night, saying in part, "We expected political grandstanding from those more beholden to the gun lobby than to the safety of their constituents and today's ruling comes as no surprise. It does not apply statewide." 

Fortunately, Governor Pritzker and Illinois Attorney General Kwame Rauol were not caught flat-footed by this bullshit SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED ruling and have prepared to defend the law and work towards its' implementation.

Of course, this highlights the Republican plan of using Judges to thwart the will of the Voters and American people, which has borne it's most bitter fruit with the Unaccountable Supremacist Court and the rogue Sinister Six Supremes.  But, it also demonstrates the continue rightwing predilection to invert every topic they entwine themselves with.  The so-called Pro-Life Republicans are absolutely beholden and wedded to the concept of Unrestricted Gun Violence everywhere and as Jon Stewart correctly observed, "Don't give a flying fuck to stop it".

In the wake, of the revelation rightwing gun nut Bobby Crimo, who shot up Highland Park on July 4th last year, had bomb making materials at his home but, decided not to try and use them because bombs are difficult to build, employ, and use effectively. 

When interviewed about the bombs Crimo allegedly stated, "If everything lined up correctly then I would use it.  But it didn't."

Especially, when compared to the ease of obtaining an Assault Rifle, especially when your rightwing criminal asshole father is more than willing to buy it for you, well it's much easier to be a rightwing domestic terrorist with a gun in America because Guns SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. 

Understand Republicans hate you.  Republicans want you dead.  And they are ferverently working towards that end.  Don't kid yourself that after rounding-up and eliminating Transgender persons that Republican bloodlust will be sated, Republicans will do what they always have done, go after the next group, and after they deal with that group (whomever it is) Republicans will expand their circle of death and violence and get the next group of Non-MAGA.  Rightwingers are yearning to set up death camps and kill millions of Americans.  It's all part of the plan to Make America Great Again; turning the United States into the Charnel House the Republicans have always dreamed it could be.

The Second Amendment is the Most Powerful Commandment in the Gun Nuts Religion. It is also what will eventually lead to the destruction of America. Immediately after these events, conservatives sprang into action.  Gun Nuts emerged from their Gun Rooms, in a frenzy ready to defend guns to your death, and descended up the social media.  Facebook, Twitter, and the conservative internet have been Horrific.

The howling from gun humping lunatics and screeching conservatives in their propaganda campaign of obfuscation and distortion, is lie after lie, after lie, after lie, after lie.  4Chan, The_Donald subreddit, and various other sewers of fevered right-wing insanity made no pretense and spead outright lies and disinformation.  The goal isn't to discover any truth about Paddock or mass shootings but, to muddy the narrative with enough lies for long enough that in a few weeks or months, when this mass murder no longer dominates headlines, conseravtives will be able to assert Paddock was a Leading Antifa collaborator of George Soros, who had deep ties to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

On Faux News tv broadcasts, Howard Kurtz, Brit Hume, and other rightwing hypocrites made false pleas for a day without politicizing tragedy, all the while politicizng the incident with references to Chicago and the Leftist agenda.  References to Chicago, by conservatives is just racist shorthand, because I never hear any discussion of a solution to Chicago's gun crime problem nor do conservatives acknowledge that 3/5ths of guns used in comission of crimes come from outside Cook County.

The Republicans dutifully, texted and tweeted, their Thoughts & Prayers, and went back to pushing the blood-soaked agenda of the NRA and Firearm Industry.  The Republican Party always offers Thoughts & Prayers because it is the least they can do, when Republicans figure out how to do less and just ignore these events they will.

The ghoulish Republicans even rolled out the bullet broken body of Congressman Steve Scalise to praise Guns and affirm there shall be no Gun Control Now, No Guntrol Ever.  I wonder if this Republican Congress which is striving to eliminate all government funded or aided healthcare coverage will offer up the same medical care for the 600 wounded in Las Vegas that Scalise received in his 3 months of rehabilitation.  Of course, the answer is no, since the Republicans just affirmed that healthcare is a privilege not a right.

Sean Hannity crafted a fantasy scenario wherein he was on the 31st floor, with his licensed firearm and he moved to the shooters location and eliminated the threat.  It was such a preposterous fantasy even Laura "Nazi Salute" Ingraham had to admit he couldn't have helped.

In fact, a prominent tough-talking ammosexual was in the crowd and was tweeting, unfortunately for him the image which appeared was him looking stunned, unable to move, deer in headlights, as first responder emergency lights framed his frozen face

Bill O'Reilly declared, "This is the price of freedom..."  RWers love to claim freedom isn't free yet I've never seen Bill O'Reilly willing to pay the price of freedom.

What to do when faced with a Gunman

Sadly, because of the mendacity of Republicans and insanity of the firearm humping gun nut fanatics the best advice we can offer, in the face of gun violence, daily school shootings, and rising mass shooting incidents, is to rush the gunman.

Gun Nuts have brought America to such a murderous state that when I'm asked on the street by residents or by family and friends I do tell them, your two options are fight or flight.

Unfortunately, many people when confronted by such a situation freeze. Freezing in the face of danger is not cowardly or unmanly it is a natural bodily reaction of facing a life-or-death situation. It takes training to overcome this response. Hiding is not an improper response but it is a holding action until one of the two prime options (Fight or Flight) becomes available or necessary. So, yes if running away is not an option because of some factor then attacking the gunman, and I mean an all-out attack; screaming, clawing, stabbing, biting, kneeing, throwing things, becomes your best option.

Now, contrary to Conservative bluster no Nation can call itself the Greatest if we have to advise school children to run at a gun wielding madman because "he can't shoot all of us". If, we were such a great Nation, Americans would be able to move about their daily routinues without the fear that today is the day some aggrieved white mysognist is going to Run Amuck or some errant gang bangers rounds will kill you in your bedroom or a Right-Wing Domestic Terrorist is going to gun you down for the crime of supporting Obamacare.

Republicans and their Moneyed Masters in the Gun Lobby, would have you believe this is the best we can do, until that glorious day when everyone in America is armed with a Gun and the Kingdom of Gun Nut Heaven descends upon the Nation and creates Firearm Utopia. It's actually a strong indicator of a sick Nation ready to collapse in upon itself.

Guns are, in fact, a blight upon Us and are almost certain to lead to the downfall of our country. I don't state this as hyperbole but, as a fact. Most Empires are brought low by internal divisions, sometimes outright and sometimes by weakening that Nation so much as to allow some other peoples to conquer it.

Each mass shooting, has the effect of hardening the zealotry of the gun nuts, makes the gun humping maniacs cling tighter to their guns, and drives other gun cultists to purchase more guns. And the Gun Manufacturers further hype and enflame the situation because the more blood of Americans that is spilled the more money they make.

Despite the facts that more guns has not made America "safer" nor that stricter gun control, regulation and enforcement has worked in other Nations. We now have a hardened kernel of gun fanatics who want no restrictions of any kind on firearms, who want no prosecutions of negligent discharges, who want no enforcement of gun laws, who ensured legislation was passed in 2005 under a Republican Congress and W(orst POTUS in Histroy) to perpetually indemnify Gun Manufacturers from all lawsuits, who champion wild west style gun fights under the euphemism Stand Your Ground, and who are implictly and explicitly declaring that any such "infringments" will be met with murderous gun violence.

So, it's time we Fight. The Gun Lobby, the Gun Humping Madmen, and the Republican Party are the Gunmen that we face. They are the threat. They are the ones who profit off the deaths of Americans. Here's a Warning Shot: Guns "Save" Lives but, Bullets Don't

Thanks to ALEC, the NRA, and Gun Maniacs have ensured that every minor scuffle and verbal argument is going to become a shooting or worse a gun fight.

The latest Hero of the Second Amendment, Curtis Reeves, gunned down texting bad guy Chad Oulson when their argument reached the stage of Loud Voice and Red Face. Just as the NRA wants; someone disrespects you? BLAM! Some elderly alzheimer patient flouting your Commands? BLAM! Somebody using your driveway to turn around? BLAM! Someone texting during the previews? BLAM!

Of course, there have been Two School Shootings and hundreds more shot across the Country in the week since Reeves murdered Oulson.

In the wake of the Florida Movie texter murder, the NRA, ALEC and Gun Lunatics are not pausing to reconsider their ideas but are pushing forward so that Total Unrestrained and Unrestricted Gun Violence is the "Law" of the Land.

The NRA's paid Republicans are now pushing for Warning Shots and Aggressive Weapon Displays and Flagrant Flagging to be lawfully protected activities in Florida. The ignorance of what bullets actually do when fired just proves again that Gun Lunatics, who routinely accuse gun control advocates of not understanding weapons, are the ones who don't understand the tools in their possession.

Radio Host and former Faux News token liberal Alan Colmes recently interviewed South Carolina Senate candidate Lee Bright and asked Bright if Teachers should have "machine guns". Bright responded that a teacher "protecting school grounds" should carry whatever "she" can.

When asked specifically if that meant "machine guns", Bright responded, "The Second Amendment is pretty clear. It says the right to carry arms should not be infringed... I don’t see how the government can regulate it."

The levels of gasp-inducing ignorance exhibited by Gun Lunatics posing as Legislators is frightening. Bright is so encapsulated in his epistemic closure he can't "see how the government can regulate it" [i.e. guns]. Well, Mister Bright the Constitution is Not a Suicide Pact. Just because you want teachers patroling schools with Squad Automatic Weapons doesn't mean WE, the PEOPLE do.

But, this is the way Gun Maniacs always frame the issue. Second Amendment! Freedom! Protecting Schools! Ask them for details about where Teachers weapons will be stored during the school day, what level of training a teacher will undergo and whom exactly will pay, how many clearing barrels and gun safes the school will have, what kind of sling the gym teacher will use since he can't have a belt holster with his athletic shorts and how many "accidental discharge" casaualties are acceptable to the NRA and Pro-Gun Violence Republicans and you'll get no answer other than an angry denunciation of Gun-Grabbers!!! 

As Ultra-Reactionary thinking has been thrust upon the Nation and endlessly championed by paid shills of the Plutocracy, these extremist positions, where Republican Senate Candidate Bright or Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia just do not possess the range of thought and can't figure out how to keep RPGs and SAWs off the streets because Derp! Second Amendment! become more entrenched in the emotive recesses of the hermetically sealed right-wing brain.

But, this is what the NRA wants. They want people shooting and murdering each other with Guns. They want people going everywhere armed, ready to shoot at whatever goes bump in the night. Even though a Dastardly Veto attempt by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn was defeated resoundingly by the Illinois Legislature Gunowners are still not able to "legally" Conceal Carry in Illinois.

Concealed Carry Permits have a 6 month backlog followed by a 90 day waiting period imposed by the Illinois State Police. So, permits for Concealed Carry will be in effect in Jan 2014 at the earliest.

And now Governor Quinn has signed into law more restrictions on Gun Owners in clear violation of the Holy Second Amendment.

Beginning Jan 1, 2014, private gun sales must undergo Federal Background Checks. Additionally, Gun Owners must notify Police of a Theft of their Firearm within 72 hours of it occurring. That sounds like a regulation!!! What part of Shall Not Be Infringed doesn't Governor Quinn understand?!?!?

I can already read the furious supporters of Unrestricted Gun Violence screeching, 'These laws are only going to be followed by law-abiding Gun Owners. Criminals won't do either!' Of course, that's true... So what's the point of having laws? Thieves and Burglars still steal despite laws against it.

Gun Owners often derisively claim Chicago has the most restrictive gun laws and the most gun murders. Of course, they ignore the facts surrounding the actual guns used in commission. The vast majority of which (59%) come from outside Illinois.

One of the unintended consequences of the Gun Manufacturers decision to flood America with over 300 Million Firearms are the totally irresponsible storage and handling by Gun Owners.

Gun Owners leave loaded firearms willy-nilly, often found and discharged by children. Hotheaded responsible gun owners wave them about or display them in a similar manner to chimps and other apes do a genital display. And firearms are one of the top three items stolen from homes.

Another Second Amendment Hero in Florida murders 6 people with his guns before SWAT takes him out and the disgusting yahoo commenters howl the original story didn't include the murderers race because that's whats most important.

A Hero of the Second Amendment took his Rights into his Own Hands when his 1st and 4th Amendment Rights were violated and murdered a dastardly City Bureaucrat and two others bystanders for trying to trample his Gun Rights.

A Gun Hero in Virginia will be forever remembered for his sacrifice. After being unjustly yelled at my ruffians while exercising his rights to speed freely through a school zone he brandished his weapon but was wounded when replacing it in his pants by shooting his balls off.

The preponderance of evidence clearly shows More Guns has not equaled More Safety. Story after story of hotheaded gun owners pulling their pieces in situations not warranted so the sobriquet An Armed Society is a Polite Society is a monstrous piece of propaganda.

I could type this post everyday. But, what's the point? No one reading this is going to change their views on guns and 4 year olds are still shooting themselves in the head because of the disgusting availability of firearms in this Nation.

Glorious Guns! Second Amendment Hero shoots up Santa Monica

A Champion of the Second Amendment has murdered at least four people and wounded five more in Santa Monica. The Gun Bearing Freedom Fighter took out his Godly Tool of Liberty, girded on his ammo belt, thousands of rounds of freedom, Bullet Proof Vest and BDUs and exercised his 2nd Amendment Rights upon America.

I'm still waiting to see where in the Constitution the Founding Fathers chiseled the Right to Mass Slaughter. I don't see it in the Second Amendment and being a Strict Constutionalist myself I don't see where anything other than a vague reference to a muzzle-loading blunderbus, a brace of flintlock pistols and perhaps a 3 pound Galloper and the deleted reference to carrying arms in defense of the State is in the Constitution.

But, I am so glad America is awash in Guns because these mass shootings don't take place.

And while the ACA (Obamacare) does not have everything I wanted it does address mental health issues instead of just ignoring those with mental illness as is the American predilection. But, you now what's more important than attempting to deal with Mental Illness in America is voting 37 times to Repeal Obamacare!

Oh, but we need concealed carry because then the shooter will think twice if that fear his targets might be armed. Of course, a mentally deficient person won't think twice (because they don't think once) about embarking on a killing rampage and won't hesitate because you might be carrying a pistol.

And any cold-blooded killer with the wherewithal to plan a Mass Shooting is simply going to up-armor himself to defeat handguns and equip himself with a long gun.

And despite all the Charles Bronson Death Wish movies you've seen I highly doubt you have the target acquisition skills to drop a would be murderer inside a carjacked vehicle.

Everyday brings another mass shooting. Everyday brings another story of a 4 year old finding a loose gun laying around the house, which he uses to shoot his baby sister, his Veteran father or himself. Everyday brings another story of a negligent discharge wounding or killing children and innocent bystanders.

If a Shotgun goes off at a Sportsman's Club because of Negligence but Wayne LaPierre doesn't talk about it; Did it Happen?

The callous disregard Gun Nuts have is astounding. As the frequency of these shootings seemingly increases Wayne LaPierre doesn't even bother to release statements anymore. Because why should he?

As the bodies pile up Gun Hugging Asses immediately and reflexively defend Guns no matter what. The more deaths we have the more entrenched and ravingly incensed about Guns they become. If, We as a Nation, acknowledged the Gun Deaths Epidemic as Terrorism we'd be able to deal with this much more effectively.

Gun Homicides are Down Because...

The latest Pew Research shows that Gun Homicides have been on a downward trajectory and are down nearly 50% since 1993.

The Question is: Why?

Gun Nuts and Shills for Weapon Manufactures claim it is because of the massive upsurge in weapons in the Country.

Of course, this is fallacious.

The number of laptops, PCs, Macs, Android devices, IPods, gaming systems has dramatically spiked since the 1970's, as well. The number of Micro-Breweries making craft beers has exploded in the last 20 years. The rate of church attendance and religious self-identification has dropped dramatically in the last 20 years.

I could argue the number of Internet diversions has allowed people to vent on-line and the ability to get their murderous rages out in first person shooter games has led to the decrease.

Or that because Americans now have a choice of finely crafted, tasty and quirky beers their soporific effect has stopped shootings.

Or that the abandonment of Christianity and adoption of Atheism is responsible for the drop in violence.

Because A, Therefore B.

Gun Maniacs also choose to base all comparisons against 1993 because 1993 had the highest number of recorded Gun Murders at 18,253. The figure in 2011 was 11,101.

Now, as a corollary let's simply not call the killing of a 2 year old by her 5 year old brother using a weapon specifically made for children and called "My First Rifle" a homicide.

Let's call the shooting of a 6 year old by her 13 year old brother a game of hide and seek and simply quote a neighbor, "I don't know how it went down but he shot his sister." See? Not Gun Violence.

Or let's call the Halloween Party shooting of a 9 year old dressed as a skunk by her adult cousin "an accident" and classify it simple assault and another gun violence data point vanishes and the downward trend continues.

Thus, by reclassifying these as Accidents or Negligent Discharges we can skew the numbers even more. Each shooting or killing is transferred allowing the "homicide rate" to drop 49%!!!!

When the total number of firearm fatalities is compared for 1993 and 2011 we see: 39,595 and 32,163. Recall that 1993 was the Peak Year with the highest recorded year for Gun Murders and suddenly that 49% drop trumpeted by Unrestricted Gun Violence Supporters is placed in the proper context.

The Pew Research paper also states that while the number of guns has increased to 310 Million the percentage of households owing weapons is the same (43%) as 1972. And importantly (according to data from a 2007 U.N. study) the U.S. firearm homicide rate and overall homicide rate are higher than those in Canada, Australia, Japan and in Western European and Scandinavian nations.

Thus, when put into context we see that Gun Deaths are cycling upwards from a low point in 1999.

The fact is what the NRA and Gun Owners of America apparently want is This.

We've got a Gun Violence Epidemic and only Criminal Cops in Chicagoland to stop it

Chicago has become the go to example for Gun Nuts to decry Gun Control measures. Insane Gun Huggers scream out Chicago!!! as the definitive case of failed Gun Control. And why? Because ALEC, the NRA and the Gun Nuts have undercut sensible gun laws and undermined the safety of Chicagoans and the American People.

Of the 50,000 guns recovered between 2001 and March 2012 in Chicago, more than half came from outside the state.

The majority of Guns used in commission of crimes inside Chicago come from outside the city.  So, thanks NRA for allowing the laxity of irresponsible gun nuts to kill children in Chicago. It's almost as if Wayne LaPierre and David Keene enjoy when children die.

Now, Illinois has been court ordered to pass a Conceal Carry law by June 2013.

Here's the situation. You are a responsible gun owner. You now have a brand new conceal carry license/permit.

Bang! Bang! Bang! You're near the park at Roosevelt Rd and California Ave. You hear multiple shots, being incredibly brave (or crazy) you advance towards the sound of gunfire. You rush into the park and see two individuals with guns:

Person 1 is pointing a weapon at Person 2. Person 2 has a gun drawn but it appears to be in the "alert" position. At the feet of Person 2 is Person 3 apparently bleeding profusely.

Now, which one do you shoot? Go!

There is no PC Logo spinning over the head of Person 2 identifying him as the "good guy". Person 1 doesn't have on a black hat.

In January, three Schaumburg Police Officers - John Cichy, Matthew Hudak and Terrance O'Brien - were arrested and accused of peddling marijuana and cocaine in DuPage County for at least six months. Prosecutors said they skimmed from police drug seizures. 

"Quite frankly, it makes me sick to my stomach," Jack Riley, special agent in charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration in the Midwest said. "From my point of view, I'm battling the Mexican cartels (and) 100,000 street gang members in Chicago — and now I've got to worry about this."

Northbrook Police Officer Enrique Guzman, turned out to be a Northbrook Burglar. In February a 5 month joint FBI/Northbrook Police Department investigation resulted in the arrest of Guzman who had been video recorded stealing jewelry from a residence.

In Des Plaines several Police Officers are facing suspensions and posssible termination stemming from a city investigation of alleged misreporting of DUI arrests to obtain overtime pay, Des Plaines officials said. In 2011, Des Plaines was awarded $116,190, the third-largest STEP (Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program) Grant in the Illinois. 

DUI arrests are the easiest arrests to make if your work "midnights". There really is no need to falsify reports or arrests.

So besides dealing with the flow of illegal weapons into the Chicagoland area and their use in the commission of crimes I and my fellow officers have the criminals in our ranks who are undercutting our authority and tarnishing All of Us in the eyes of the law-abiding populace.

Christopher Dorner, Criminal Cops, Second Amendment Remedies and the "Connecticut Effect"

“Fucking burn this motherfucker!” - heard on air stated by various Law Enforcement Persons during the Final Siege on Christopher Dorner.

Thanks for making the job harder, Officers! Now, I don't have a problem with Dorner apparently being killed but don't hem an haw about it.

The apparent death of Christopher Dorner in a dramatic blaze is going to require a Special Investigation to determine it's beginnings and the events which lead to it's fiery conclusion.

I say apparent death, because as of right now there is only circumstantial evidence Dorner was killed in the fire. Investigators have reportedly found Christopher Dorner’s wallet beside charred human remains at the Big Bear forest cabin.

In the old Marvel Superhero Role Playing Game of the 1980's, a villain received massive Karma Bonuses (which could be used to increase scores or aid in attacks) if he died a mysterious death. Villains always return in the comics.

Now Dorner proved a great boon for the NRA because Dorner showed that a determined American with a Gun can use Tea Party endorsed "Second Amendment Remedies" to exact justice from Government Officials, while also proving to be the biggest fear of White Knights everywhere,

However, with all attention focused on the bizarre Dorner/LAPD vendetta, over 1700 Americans have been lost to gun violence. Killed because the NRA and Republicans are busy stoking fears and extracting money from the foolish.

The most Recent Insane NRA Ad pretends the United States is actually the vast wasteland of so many a Dystopic Post-Apocalypse ravaged land where One Lone American and his Gun stand between his homestead and the Hordes who threaten annihilation.

Of course, after blaming videogames and movies, the NRA isn't going to treat the basic underlying problem, that their efforts to push more guns into more hands is fueling the massive number of gun deaths in America.

So, with that in mind Wisconsin NRA Spokesman Bob Welch let it be known that as soon as the "Connecticut Effect" was neutralized the NRA would be back up to it's old tricks of buying politicians to force through their policy of Unrestricted Gun Violence 

Here's what the NRA has in mind for America: Thomas Matusiewicz, a 2nd Amendment Hero, took it upon himself to get his son justice when an unelected judge would not give him.

Delaware State Police said Thomas Matusiewicz, 68, walked into the lobby of the New Castle County Courthouse on Monday, pulled out a .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol and shot Christine Belford, a 39-year-old mother, and her friend Laura Mulford, 47. He then exchanged fire with police, striking two officers who were protected by armored vests. 

Belford and Mulford, both from Newark, were at the county courthouse on Monday to attend a child support arrears hearing for David Matusiewicz, Belford's ex-husband. 

Delaware State Police said David Matusiewicz and his father entered the courthouse lobby about 7:40 a.m. David Matusiewicz went through a security checkpoint while his father remained in the lobby. About a half-hour later, Belford and Mulford entered the lobby, and Thomas Matusiewicz approached and shot them, police said. 

Thomas Matusiewicz then exchanged gunfire with police, taking a bullet in the upper body but dying from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, said Delaware state police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack.  

The shooting was the culmination of years of strife between the Matusiewicz family and Belford, who battled David Matusiewicz for custody of their three daughters. In 2007, he kidnapped the girls and took them to Central America, court records show.

Justice Republican NRA Style! Of course, the NRA and Gun Nuts blame the courthouse for being a gun-free zone. And that's right, after all the Holy Second Amendment has no provision stating convicted murders brought into the courthouse or estranged husbands bent of vengeance shall not have guns. What part of Shall Not Be Infringed1!!!1! Don't libtards understand?

[an] investigation "uncovered a number of posse members with arrests for assault, drug possession, domestic violence, sex crimes against children, disorderly conduct, impersonating an officer - and the list goes on."

It's not about Safety it's about Money. While the Firearms Industry is enjoying record sales due to all the fear-mongering and evil bullshit spewed by Wayne LaPierre and Davide Keane, the Gun Manufacturers would adore having an automatic deposit of monies from the Federal Government into their accounts.
