Honk to Unmask the Kids

The official Republican position on Masks is: they do incalculable harm to children both physically and developmentally and are Tyranny.  Books, too.  The Republican position on guns and school shootings is dead children is the price of freedom.

I'm not going to relitigate the school shooting debate; We, the People lost that one.  The NRA, gun manufacturers and unrestricted gun violence advocates were victorious.  More guns is always the answer...

There were several protests of Schools and school districts Friday by rich white people.  Arriving in their $75,000 vehicles and wearing the ubiquitous expensive puffy 3/4 length jackets gaggles of entitled white women demand you Honk to Unmask the kids... 

Some of the school kids on the bus unimpressed by the Murder of Karens proceeded to "flip off the grown-ups in unison" as they passed by the protest.  Back in my day, we would've mooned them.

These actions would seem to be hypocritical from the crowd which always intones Just Follow the Rules until you understand that conservatives firmly believe rules don't apply to them.  Rules and Laws and Police exist to protect them and keep The Other in check.

This dynamic plays out everyday, in hundreds of cities and towns, and thousands of interactions. 

The entire controversy over Masks is a giant explosion of the pouting privileged taking umbrage at the effrontery of having to follow rules they! don't! want! too! follow!

The Republican Party's notions of Shared Sacrifice

In order to be part of the totalitarian mind-set, it is not necessary to wear a uniform or carry a club or whip. It is only necessary to wish for your own subjection, and to delight in the subjection of others. ~ Christopher Hitchens, from god is not Great pg. 232, sums up the Republican Party and their conservative fanatics use of Government in order to subjugate the Poor and Middle Class.

Whenever you watch a Sunday Political Show and a Republican bureaucrat talks about Shared Sacrifice watch out it means the Middle Class is in for a beating. The Republican Party has spent the last 30 years dismantling the Federal Government in an effort to destroy the Poor and subjugate the Middle Class.

When Wall Street engaged in furious gambling aided by the blind eye of Republican de-regulation it meant the Middle Class would sacrifice by being on the hook for the debts incurred. Of course, the Wall Street hoodlums know this because they've been pulling the same scam for 30 years ever since Ronald Reagan and John McCain gave them the nod, with the Savings & Loan Scandal, that Corporate theft would be protected with stolen Tax payer dollars.

Shared Sacrifice means a Federal Worker pay freeze on Middle Class government employees while helping Goldman Sachs funnel Billions of Tax Payer dollars into bonuses for the Bankers whose profligate "investment" gambling was aided and endorsed by President Bush and the Republican Party and the cause of the 2007-2009 Republican Party recession.

When Republicans start wars, as a means of a gigantic transfer of wealth from the Nation to the blood sucking War Profiteers, for instance Halliburton and Blackwater (Xe), it meant the poor and middle class would bear the brunt of the suffering and sacrifice, while Republicans profit off the blood of dead Americans in wars they will never serve in for Republicans eschew military service due to their inherent cowardice.

When Republicans talk about shared sacrifice in terms of cutting Federal spending it means an elimination of regulatory bodies, like the FDA, the EPA, OSHA and MSHA which keep Corporate monstrosities from poisoning our food water and air or from working Americans in dangerous slave conditions. It also means Republicans will continue to strive to steal from pensions and social security as detailed in Paul Ryan's plan to eliminate Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

It means Billions of dollars physically lost in Iraq as the price of Warmongering and Trillions of dollars stolen from Social Security and transferred to the Republican War Profiteers off-shore banks in the Cayman Islands and UBS Switzerland. It means the end of Regulation on Banks, it means apologies to Oil Companies who destroy our lands and defense of Rich Mine Owners who kill their workers, it means an increase of Taxes on the Poor, while Taxes on the Rich decrease.

Shared Sacrifice to Republicans means the rapidly expanding gulf between the Rich and the rest of America. It means the Grover Norquist and Voodoo Economists dream of destroying Unions.

"They can tell their unions that they have to accept cuts now or face a much more dire fate in bankruptcy court.”

And the Sham Tea Party Hateriots have allowed themselves to be conditioned that Unions are always to blame. The $30K-a-year garbage man in New York City is to blame for the economy and not the recklessness of real estate "moguls" who leveraged and repackaged billions in junk investments in order to make big scores on the Republican housing bubble scam. Conservatives blame dead Chicago Firefighters and not Harry Macklowe whose, as pointed out in the New York Times Real Estate section, "$7 billion gamble on seven Midtown skyscrapers at the top of the market almost cost him his entire empire, is out looking for new deals."

And while thousands of Americans have been fast-tracked into bankruptcy and home foreclosure,

the truth is that there have been surprisingly few career fatalities among New York developers, even though they have lost billions of investor dollars on overpriced real estate and have littered the city with unfinished apartment buildings. While a homeowner who lost a house to foreclosure would find it difficult to borrow for years, developers who defaulted on enormous loans have still been able to attract money.

Nope Republicans are busy browbeating their conservative slaves into believing the Middle Class is to blame.

Shared Sacrifice means the realization of the Republican Goal of Neo-Feudalism, wage slavery and cutthroat Capitalism for the Poor and Socialism for the Rich and their undying Corporate monsters.

Republican Political Correctness

Republicans, Conservative Troglodytes, and their Vomit Tongued Toxic Commentators love to paint all Liberals as Terrorist Loving Marxists. Usually making their mouth breathing followers imagine every liberal is a amalgamation of Saul Alinsky, Code Pink, Bill Ayers and Leon Trotsky.

It's a deception. It's merely part of the Republican Party Platform. Lie every day about everything no matter how transparent, no matter how unsubstantiated, no matter how evil.

But, when the clear results of Republican policies are highlighted, as recently in the case of the evil and odious Don Blankenship, global warming denier and Right Wing Champion of Deregulation and less government intrusion into Business, Republicans become unhinged and bristle with false umbrage. Deaf, dumb and blind is what conservatives would like to remain when shown the results of 30 years of Republican policies; the destruction of the middle class, the theft of Trillions of dollars, the murder of American service men, the murder of American workers, the underfunding and destruction of (MSHA, OSHA, FDA, EPA) and any other organization (ACORN) which impedes the Republican Party platforms of deception, theft, oppression, rape and murder in the service of the Plutocratic Elite.

Perhaps it's willful ignorance which allows Republicans to implement policies which harm Americans.

Or perhaps Republicans merely hate America. Merely hate the concept, hate when the government allievates the crushing of the poor, which is why they fought Health Care Reform and supported Insurance Companies right to kill Americans, and are now fighting Financial Reform and support Mega-Banking Wall Street Firms right to Steal Trillions of Dollars from Americans.

What Republicans want, as blatantly highlighted in the Citizens United SCOTUS decision, is a Kleptocratic Oligarchy in which they control government and the government destroys unions, invades countries to kill the inhabitants and steal their wealth, and keeps the American people in the status of wage slaves and Katrina survivors, grinding 95% of the country into serfdom while they claim to defend the very ideals they blissfully destroy.

Dylan Ratigan Steals From My Blog

Last September I wrote:

What we have is a lousy kleptocracy were members of the government collude with industry and work hand in hand in order to ensure Socialism for them and cut-throat Capitalism for the rest of the plebeians, Profits are Privatised and Losses are Socialized.

Well, while that's true, the Corporate Powers are the stronger members of the Kleptocracy and dictate orders to their marionettes in Government. The Punk Ass Bitch Republican Party take their orders and carry them out faithfully.

Any way MSNBC New Guy, Dylan Ratigan highlights (video at Crooks and Liars) how Corporate Communists (his phrase) have control over Washington and use their position to Socialize their losses and Privatize their Profits. Ratigan states, "a system that takes resources from the citizenry and redistributes it to a tiny elite."

Right Wing Punk Ass Bitches like to claim the Free Market and Corporations would produce excellent products if left alone from the evil Government's interference. Well, it's not true. if left alone without Government Regulations, persons at various levels in Corporations will get away with whatever they can and would passively or actively allow Americans to die from the creation of their products; By doing shit like this:

BP acknowledged that for the last six years its Whiting refinery violated federal pollution limits on benzene.

Federal regulators say BP PLC violated the Clean Air Act by making modifications at its Indiana oil refinery along Lake Michigan to process Canadian crude without the proper permit. The EPA said in November the modifications caused "significant increases" in sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, particulate matter and carbon monoxide emitted from the refinery.

And at the top CEO's, who get Billions from the Government, lobby to undermine and de-teeth legislation designed to curb their voracious appetite for profit over people.

A Hot Shower

Taking a fairly long, marginally too hot shower is one of the few pleasures I indulge in, in this world. During my stay in Iraq taking an intermittent 2 minute long shower in Euphrates Poo Water was a continual low light in a thankfully uneventful deployment. Along with piss bottles and hairy chicken wings.

Now, I don't feel guilty about using so much water, although I did install a 1.5 gallon per minute shower head in my new home, but what my stint in the Corps and deployments to Kabul and Ramadi did instill in me was how fortunate I am to live in the early 21st century. I'm more privileged than 99% of mankind. I have an abundance of free time away from my work, I read, do physical exercise for it's own sake, travel and enjoy a "life of leisure". And this understanding of the good, long, healthy, full life most Western people now enjoy is exactly what those who run society and use you fall back upon as the under current of maintaining the status quo.

Herbert Spencer noted over 100 years ago the following,

"Yet while elevation, mental and physical, of the masses is going on far more rapidly than ever before - while the lowering of the death-rate proves that the average life is less trying, there swells louder and louder the cry that the evils are so great that nothing short of a social revolution can cure them." Spencer invented the termed "Survival of the Fittest". Spencer's theories were unfortunately bastardized into the odious theory of Social Darwinism. Social Darwinsim, as most people other than creationists know, is not Evolution. And as it was applied was the antithesis of Darwin's Theory. Social Darwinism was unnatural selection. However, it also turned out to be another tool the Ruling Elites used in order to continue their explotation and murder of the poor and working classes. It afforded those in powerful positions in Church, Industry and the State to applaud themselves and turn a blind eye to the continual suffering they impose on the less fortunate. And fueling the Myth the rich get rich because of merit.

Which gets me back to my privileged position of today. I peruse the blogs and sites which have been sounding the call to combat the Islamo-Marxist Nazification of American under Hussein Obama since before he was elected. It's a fascinating descent into willful ignorance, myopic avoidance, an absence of critical thinking and transference on a WWW scale. Most of the evils and turmoils which have been ascribed to Obama were committed for years en masse by Bush, Cheney and their toadies; who cared more about stealing Trillions, breaking laws they found inconvenient, controlling all facets of government, expanding the American Imperial Empire and enriching their families, friends and cronies and the expense of the little people.

The Stimulus Bill expansion of government Obama's signed into law is less than what was spent in one year in Iraq under Tipsy Canoe and Cheney, too. So, the money isn't the issue. I discussed this with my friends the Queen of the Harpies and Ran. Ran theorized a refunding of the IRS leading to audits of those who've pilfered Billions over the last eight years could be behind the marching orders the Republicans in Congress have received.

But, even with the deluge from the Toxic Commentators, like Hannity, indulging in orgasmic displays of Hijacked America! and the studiously prepared American Exceptionalism firmly entrenched in their mind's eye it's hard to understand why Americans accepted the criminal largesse under Bush while seemingly wanting people to lose their homes.

I think I need a shower to wash the toxic filth away.
