Attorney General Todd Rokita is on a mission to indict Dr. Caitlin Bernard for the unforgivable crime of being a woman, a physician, an unapologetic defender of women's health.  Rokita is engaging in an outrageous Abuse of Power and Authority which started with him outright lying about Doctor Bernard and presenting false testimony on Jesse Watters outrageous bigoted racist Faux TV show.

So because of this Abuser General Rokita will use the full might and resources of the State to destroy her.  He's begun an inquisition and he will not let truth or the the law get in the way of "gathering the evidence as we speak and we're going to fight this to the end."  Abuser General Rokita will not stop until he finds something to charge Doctor Bernard.

Rokita's actions are not accidental it's part of the Republican agenda of intimidation and abuse of authority they always engage in to make people acquiesce, give in, and obey preemptively.  Fascism often succeeds because regular people obey instead of standing up against them.

Never forget conservatives who claim to fear, distrust, and oppose the awesome power of government fucking relish and yearn to use that power to kill and incarcerate the Non-MAGA.  "It's" not coming... "It's" here already.

What Rokita's doing isn't just unconscionable its illegal as well. But laws don't constrain conservatives. The law is what they say it is and conservatives unequally apply it purposefully. The Unequal application of laws is Fascism. Plain and simple.

And now 26 members of the Indiana Senate have voted for a near total ban on abortions.  Get ready for border checkpoints to be erected on I-80 as you cross into Indiana.  Expect truck weigh stations to be transformed into mandatory vaginal inspection stations.  Fascism will come gradually and then all at once...

Uh-oh Dan Rutherford just got caught breaking 1 of the 2 Political Sexy Time no-no's

Politics is a mean, nasty business. Allegations that Illinois State Treasurer and Republican Governor Candidate Dan Rutherford engaged in "official misconduct" have lead to revelations about Rutherford's relationship with a male employee of the Treasury Department.

The Chicago Suntimes is reporting that Dan Rutherford has taken multiple overseas trips with his 28 old year male personal assistant, Josh Lanning. Dan and the young Josh have taken trips to Australia, Israel, China and South Korea.

During each trip, Rutherford received his taxpayer-funded salary, as did his executive assistant, Josh Lanning. The Chinese People’s Institute for Foreign Affairs paid for Rutherford’s trip to China. The Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago paid for the trip to Israel, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea, paid for Rutherford’s trip to Korea.

The previous Treasury Secretary Republican Judy Baar Topinka, who served 12 years as claims she never travelled overseas, nor has she as Illinois State Comptroller.

Rutherford denied the trips were vacations saying they served educational purposes.

There are numerous photos of Rutherford and Lanning relaxing and taking interesting day trips and the two repeatedly shared a room on all of these unusual overseas excursions.

Personally, I hate this. Dan Rutherford has always denied being gay. I hate that Dan Rutherford is going to go down because of his personal life choices. If he is or is not gay shouldn't matter. But, being gay is a terrible sin to conservatives. To me the only way that Rutherford's sex life is at all relevant is if he made political decisions against equality or used his political offices to support homophobic positions. 

Rutherford is opposed to gay marriage on religious grounds, although he was the only Illinois Republican to vote for civil unions. So, I could understand people whom Rutherford has harmed by virtue of his office being okay with his outing.

As details have not be released I'm theorizing the case against Rutherford hinges on him sexual harassing members of his errr, staff and/or giving preferential treatment/special favors for his "personal assistant" Josh.

Of importance is what kind of quid pro quo Rutherford promised these foreign governments, who paid for these trips, if he became the next Governor of Illinois? Sweetheart trade deals? Taxpayer assistance and infrastructure to any foreign business which moves an operation here? Passage of Right-to-Work-for-Less Legislation?

Whatever the outcome, Rutherford's gubernatorial aspirations are most likely done.

Chris Christie's criminal abuse of power and the GW Bridge Scandal

- Chris Christie told David Koch in June 2011, as Governor Bully planned all sorts of shenanigans to steal billions first from New Jersey citizens, then from the rest of America and transfer it to the Koch Brothers and other Plutocrats.

Governor Chris Christie is not finished. The GW Bridge of Size Scandal will not lead to Impeachment and Christie sure as hell isn't going to resign.

The Sunday MSM shows are going to be disgusting. Chris Christie is going to be gushed over more than he was after he won the NJ Governor race. Christie was being touted by the MSM as the clear Front Runner for 2016 and now the MSM is going to put on a solemn face and talk about his seasoning and resolve in the face of this current "crisis".

Chris Christie's press conference has already being lauded by the Usual Media Suspects (Morning Joe), despite being a rambling incoherent mess in which Christie proclaimed himself the victim, blubbered about having no knowledge, and said "I" more time than an optometrist.

Chris Christie is nothing more than a petty bully but, with frighteningly Big Aspirations. I have no doubt that he knew and was very pleased with Bridget Anne Kelly, his deputy chief of staff, who sent an August 13 email to former Port Authority Director of Interstate Capital Projects David Wildstein, a longtime Christie friend and ally; "Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee."

From inside the Governor's office, Bridget Anne Kelly and David Wildstein deliberately caused the GW Bridge closure with the "traffic study" as political payback for Fort Lee Mayor Sokolich and as punishment for an area which the Christie's people believed were Buono voters.

Kelly and Wildstein are in serious criminal trouble and now comes the waiting game to see what level of cooperation they will provide against the Criminal Christie. Because, despite Christie's claim 'I just found out I was lied too!', Christie had called NY Governor Andrew Cuomo in December to push him to drop any investigation of the Bridge closure.

Mr. Christie, a Republican, complained in a private phone call to Mr. Cuomo, a Democrat, that Patrick Foye, the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, was pressing too hard to get to the bottom of why the number of toll lanes onto the bridge from Fort Lee, N.J. was cut from three to one in early September, according to this person. The lane closures occurred without notice to local authorities, officials have said, and snarled traffic for a week in the small borough on the Hudson River bluffs.

Additionally, Port Authority officers were advised by Christie's office to blame the traffic back-ups on Fort Lee Mayor Sokolich.

So, Christie's lies have already flopped, but back in December Big Bully Christie had all sorts of fun during interviews where he tried the shtick of 'Hey yo, didntca see me? Yea I waz out on the bridge with a vest and cones blocking traffic! Whatca gonna do about it! Ooooh!'

Huh. However, I'll take a direct quote from Christie and play it off as conservatives as do,

"I worked the cones. Unbeknownst to anyone, I was working the cones."

Chris Christie directly admitted to closing down the GW Bridge. Case fucking closed.

Christie thought he could get away with sarcastic denials about the scandal but once he could no longer play the Shtick, the Right-Wing Noise Machine leapt to his defense.

Dana Loesch, Erick Erickson, Michelle Malkin, Dan Riehl and all the wing-nut-o-sphere immediately leapt to their twitter accounts, But but but OBAMA!?! and Eric Holder won't investigate and Hillary Benghazi so that conservatives will make sure that talk of Chris Christie's criminal abuse of power will be deflected back into the Blame Barack Game.

But but but but OBAMA!?! is a conservative cry we are going to hear for decades to come.

Now, the thing is if Christie manages to avoid liability but slyly acknowledge he was getting some political payback out of this his stature will rise amongst the Tea Party crowd and the ultra-reactionary right-wing pundits.

And that's where Christie becomes really dangerous because right now he is the Koch Brothers chosen candidate;

"Five months ago we met in my New York City office and spoke, just the two of us, for about two hours on his objectives and successes in correcting many of the most serious problems of the New Jersey state government," David Koch said. "At the end of our conversation, I said to myself, 'I'm really impressed and inspired by this man. He is my kind of guy.'"

In 2011, the Koch Brothers flew Christie out to their Billionaires Strategic Planning Convention (a.k.a. The Legion of Doom) in order for him to give the keynote address.

TheBradBlog acquired audio recordings of Christie's keynote speeches to the Plutocrats in which the assembled Billionaires entreated Christie to run in 2012. Christie declined, probably because he knew it was foolish to go up against President Obama, but set the stage for a 2016 candidacy.

"Please, if you leave with just one message from me, if only one message sticks: This is a huge moment of crisis and opportunity for our country. All of you are the people who are going to lead us back to American greatness. If you care enough to do it."

Forged in Political Fire of his making, but quenched by the tongue baths of fawning media fans, and swaddled in the money of Plutocrats, Christie may be able to emerge from this Criminal Scandal as the Presidential Front Runner of 2016.

Anyone clamoring to Fix-The-Debt or suddenly scared of Government spending do you want to know where the Deficit came from? Well, it was born in Bush's Brain and Dick Cheney's Heart and grew up in the Iraqi Desert.

And how are we going to fix this problem? Why on the backs of the Middle and Working Class. This is going to steal Trillions from 6 generations of Americans.

The daily suicides by Veterans, the broken parents of those sacrificed to the War, and the millions of future irritations, family squabbles, and days of pain which will be felt and probably not understood for Generations.

LAPD Sheriff Deputy punches mentally challenged woman in the face

Memo To Rahm Emmanuel: When the Police are your only tool everyone becomes a Perp. Video emerged of an LAPD Sheriff's Deputy punching a woman who is developmentally challenged. I try not to come to a conclusion of what the incident, in and of itself means, or judge the Deputy involved prior to all the facts coming out. The incident came about because the woman reportedly alarmed other people on the bus who dialed 911 because who else are you going to call?

Image is important.

Every Police Officer should be aware a punch oft times is not a good technique for handling a situation, punches aren't designed to get compliance from people. In almost all cases, punches appear to be abuse or an over-reaction. Read what the witnesses said the incident appeared like to them,

"Like they're tired of dealing with her..."

"I can't believe he didn't try to diffuse the situation at all..."

But, why is the Officer in this position at all? Because rich psychopaths who control the Government have deemed spending on Mental Health facilities to be SOCIALISM! Confrontations like this are are the result of the 1% Austerity programs which directly target facilities which are best suited and staffed to help people like this woman.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel's 2012 budget eliminates 7 of the 13 mental health facilities to save a few million bucks. Why? Because the 1% wishes it. They don't need society. The rich are Pyschopaths. So they especially hate mental health workers.

As Bachmann stated not all cultures are equal. Bachmann and her Republicon Ilk have spent decades coarsening American Society in the viscous pursuit of the Ayn Randian Dream-land, the elimination of programs and facilities to aid Americans, for their Plutocratic Masters. Now 21st century American society is the "richest nation in the world" where the poor and unfortunate are left on the other side of the river.

Police Officers should not be the ones tasked with regularly dealing with people suffering from reduced capacity or mental problems. The Mental Health of members of society needs to be addressed by that society. It's a measuring stick of the level of civilization.

And Our Civilization is rapidly declining thanks to the evil 1%, their Republican Marionettes and Austerity programs.

So, Chicago be prepared for more and more incidents like this as CPD is called in to handle mentally disturbed individuals and the Officers don't know what to do so they Taze him and he dies of excited delirium.

Megyn Kelly and Bill O'Reilly had a nice back and forth wherein they tut-tuted anyone who would try to monday-morning quarterback police actions. As I've posted years ago, I will never question a Officer's split-second heat of the moment decision when faced with a dynamic situation, but the images of Lt. Pike walking back and forth, and in the best tradition of the Inquisition showing his intended victims the instruments of their torture, before unloading a huge container of OC Spray does not qualify.

However, Megyn Kelly then proceeded to tell Bill O'Reilly “It’s a derivative of actual pepper, it’s a food product, essentially. A lot of experts are looking at saying is that the real deal. Has it been diluted?” O’Reilly, thinking that the product used on the students wasn’t too severe, said, “They should have had more of a reaction, than that!”

As a Police Officer and Marine Corps Veteran I have experienced OC Spray, the Taser and gone through the Marine Corps gas chamber multiple times. Why is it ignorant Republicans and clueless Rightwingers feel empowered to speak about things with which they have no experience?

In one of the interminable Republican debates, Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann declared their full support for the continued practice of Water boarding, i.e. Torture. But, unlike the military she seeks to lead as Commander-in-Chief, Bachmann declared "It would be stupid for the the President [i.e. her] to be water boarded!"

Well, to the Honorable Mrs. Bachmann, you are on the House Select Committee for Intelligence, as a precaution you need to experience SERE school and water boarding in order to know who to resist it. And Mr. Cain you under suspicion of potential crimes, in order to fully ascertain what you did and did not do, you need to undergo water boarding. After all if you have nothing to hide...

So, just like with torture, Faux News is creating a cloud of utter bullshit to dupe their viewers. Faux News viewers, a group so misinformed and deluded, they are worse off than those who watch no news at all.

"My Job is to Protect and Serve Real People, Not 'Romney' People."

The Images of Police Brutality, including the wantonly sadistic spraying of the seated protesters at UC Davis, the pepper spraying of an 84 year old woman at #OccupySeattle and the open mouthed close ranged shot at the N17 OWS have galvanized the Occupiers and delighted the sick, twisted and deranged conservatives.

But, it's a sideshow.

The 1% are ecstatic OWS and #Occupy are being side-tracked into civil rights complaints against individual officers or even whole Police Departments, because it takes the spotlight off of them. The 1% always want the focus off themselves, it keeps allowing them to get away with Plunder.

Now, from the images I think the Officers committed crimes. But, everyone should realize the Officers in question are going to parse their reports with just the right verbiage, i.e. 'a volatile situation, fear for my and my fellow officers safety, the body language of the protesters indicated willful disobedience to my lawful instructions, proper use of force, etc', that they probably will escape criminal punishment and at most will receive administrative discipline from their Departments.

But, remember the Officers are the Tools of the Oppressors. These conflicts with Police have been what the 1% have been dreaming about and hoping for since OWS began on September 17th. Do not let them succeed in dividing the 99%.

These officers and their actions must be condemned (and punished) but the focus must always be turned back to the 1%, the Oppressors. The Goal must be to Destroy the Plutocracy and return the American Dream to the 99%

Well, Thank You Boston Mayor Thomas Menino

for making the jobs of Police Officers all over the United States that much harder.

Mayor Menino has a flawed concept of liberty and authority. Menino's concept of power and authority appears to extend only so far as he can abuse them in service to the 1%. Menino ordered early morning Police raids on OccupyBoston and 100 protestors were taken away without a violent confrontation. I applaud the OccupyBoston crowd, while having their Rights of Peaceful Assembly violated, they did not give into the Heat of the Moment and give the 1% and their goonish conservative bloggers and smear-merhcants the story they wanted, a conflict between the protesters and the Police.

Lets just be thankful Menino restrained his apparent desire to more fully ape his predecessors; for his announcement, "I will not tolerate Civil Disobedience in the city of Boston," had the tone of a Autocrat and Menino barely constrained himself from inscribing his name alongside, his heroes of yesteryear, those who ordered Ludlow 1913 or Kent State 1970 or Boston 1770.

But, as for the Police here is another stain we are going to have to live down. Another generation is being turned against us because the 1% see Police Officers as little different than the other 99%. And the 1% doesn't give a shit if you die because of it.

Mayor Menino is among the Elite class which does not give a rat's hind tit about the fallout for the average officer on the streets. Police Officers like Soldiers and factory workers, are nothing more than cogs in the Machinery of War and Industry. The 1% and their dutiful Minions, like Menino have no trouble using them to enforce the will the Rich and divide the 99%.

I am a Police Officer. My job is to protect real people, NOT ROMNEY PEOPLE, from bullies, thieves and murderers. It is not my job to arrest a group of peaceful protesters. It is not my job to protect the ill-gotten loot of Wall Street Thieves.
