When we vote, we win! We didn’t vote…

On September 7th, in Wisconsin Trump discussed the possibility of Harris winning the presidency, and went on to say, "It's not her, it's the people that surround her. They're scum. They are scum, and they want to take down our country. They are absolute garbage." -

At this point, Trump is poised to win every so-called battleground state and we are waiting for the last of the ballots to be counted.  Kamala Harris has about 69 million and Trump is sitting at 73.5 million.  Traitor Trump appears to be on pace to receive the same number of votes as he did in 2020, while Harris will end up with 8 million less votes than she and President Biden in 2020.

I don’t understand what happened (yes I do understand that everyone has a theory of what happened but, these are so much crap or at best a partial explanation, since you didn't posit your theory before Election Day).  The DNC in Chicago was success and very energizing.  The early voting and mail-in ballot numbers were encouraging.  Harris drew multiple big-name celebrity endorsements. Her camping raised a billion dollars.  She and Walz toured every battleground state multiple times.  Get Out the Vote efforts were aggressive and supposedly reached millions of voters.

Yet...  I don’t understand why 6-8 million voters didn’t show up for her?  Were these just anti-Trump Republicans who voted in 2020 but decided to sit out this year?  Are these sexist Democratic men who weren’t going to vote for a woman?  The Abandon Harris left got half a million votes and hardly seems to have made an impact in the battleground states.

Worse and more perplexing still, in several states in which Trump won, liberal ballot initiatives passed or in the case of Florida received well over 50% of the vote but failed to meet the threshold for adoption.  And in battleground states Wisconsin and Michigan, Trump won and a Democratic female Senate candidate won.

The three sad and upsetting voting trends are:

  • Latino men voted to pull up the ladder for incoming Hispanic immigrants
  • White women entered the voting booth Free, and emerged fettered in MAGA chains
  • And young White men empowered themselves to take the pussy whenever they feel like it
It seems that while the Kamala Harris campaign thought reaching out women and highlighting Trump and Vance's straight Nazi rhetoric was a winning platform, Trump's message he hammered home in his senile ramblings were about economics and helping the working class.  I think Bernie Sanders is correct and the Democratic Party leadership needs to jettison it's reliance on billionaires and jettison the semi-Republican platform of bowing to business and capitalism.  A radical realignment of focus onto the "forgotten man" economically without relying on homophobia, hatred, sexism, and oppression is the way forward.  Put Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in charge of the messaging and get rid of Nancy Pelosi and the Bill Clinton Third Way of Business friendly democratic policies.  They aren't winning you anything.  Tell Morning Joe Scarborough to fuck off with blaming the students at Ivy League schools for this loss and embrace a more left position.  You can not possibly do worse than losing every fucking branch of the Federal Government.

Yes, yes, the Corporate Media will hate you but guess... fucking... what... they already hate you and hated Joe Biden and worked overtime to undermine and undercut his Presidency and Kamala Harris campaign and re-install their beloved Leader Trump as I (and many others) fucking said they would.

So, throw the mealy-mouthed pleas to Capitalism aside and embrace a more radical democratic socialist or even Marxist way of doing things because pretty soon the Baby Boomers are going to die off (although their Reactionary politics will be adopted by Gen X) and the Millennial and Zoomers are going to be looking for a Government which says they will help them.  Right now that's Republicans even as their rightwing fascist policies grind them into dust they and the Corporate Media say their policy of oppression, intolerance, and slavish adulation of the rich are actually to help the Working Class.
