I'm stunned and saddened.  Can it be as simple as Kamala Harris suffered from the twin hatreds of misogyny and racism?

But, there can be no doubt about what happened.  This, isn't a LOL Nothing Matters fluke or an anti-Hillary Clinton 2016 backlash, the American Voter likes what Trump is selling them.  And not only is Trump going to win the Electoral College but he seems to have a chance of winning the popular vote.  I don't know why Democratic voters did not turn out.  I don't know what the young Zoomer generation wants or expects from the Federal Government, unless by these election results it is Transphobia and Anti-Imigrant sentiment.  I don't understand why voters in Missouri voted to overturn their states' Abortion Ban and expand maternity leave and then in the same election, voted for Josh Hawley and Mike Kehoe, who are vehemently opposed to those measures.

Despite the early post-mortems and gloating from the Right, the Democratic Party's problem is not simply a White Male Problem, Hispanics and Latinos in several states apparently turned out to vote for Trump.  These men feel entitled; to women's bodies, to a mythical standard of living of the 1950's, to not only respect but deference, to a whole host of "Rights" which they think have been taken away by Democrats.  And white women, despite everything, did not vote for Harris...

And I've never ascribed to the Media framing that a booming Stock Market and low unemployment were a sign of a Great Economy, but the Corporate Media sure did anytime a Republican was in office.  Were all the complaints about the price of eggs and being unable to afford a house, indicative of how Voters were going to punish Harris for the sins of Inflation?

I now await Trump, Vance, and his Presidency to fulfill his campaign promises of lowering housing costs, making gas and groceries more affordable, of ending crime, stepping in and stopping the Ukraine-Russia War, of solving the Israel-Gaza Crisis, of protecting women whether they like it or not.

It's hard to believe Trump is going to do any of the 20 things he's pledged in his campaign.  Sure, he's going to take immediate credit for the economy which will once again in early 2025 be the greatest in World History, and he'll know doubt keep "men" out of women's sports.  But, stopping World War 3?  When did it start?  Wasn't World War 3, actually, the Cold War, won single-handedly by Ronnie Raygun?  And keeping the dollar the reserve currency of the world?  How will Trump accomplish that by linking it with DOGE Coin and making the U.S. Dollar a crypto currency???  As for stopping the Weaponization of Government against Americas, that means Trump will Pardon himself, grant clemency and reparations to those arrested and convicted of crimes on Jan6th, and purge the DOJ, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies of anyone not ideologically bound to MAGA.

I, of course, shudder at the prospect of "Carrying out the largest deportation operation in American History" but, here we are... on the cusp of Stephen Miller's "Staging Grounds".

I don't see Trump leaving the White House alive.  I could see a Republican controlled House and Senate repealing the 22nd Amendment but, more likely than that he's going to die in office, he's not a healthy man and Peter Thiel and J.D. Vance are going to have pulled off one of the greatest Coups in modern political history.

For right now, come January 21st 2025, Trump is going to stride back into the White House and MAGA feels utterly emboldened to do everything their dark hearts desire.
