For the second straight year, heavy snow falls have inundated the greater Chicagoland Area almost 2 months before the official start of winter. This year the snow falls on the 30th and 31st of October have struck not only while leaves are still on the trees but, while many of those leaves have yet to even changed to Fall colors. This 2019 Halloween is worse than the dreadful one in 1993.

It's depressing that the concerted effort of the Rightwing in America in denying the reality of climate change. Even the United States Navy knows Climate change is real and presents an existential threat to the Navy's Mission and the World.

Back in 2010 James Mattis recognized the threat of climate change as his forward to the United States Joint Forces Command, Joint Operating Environment report indicates;

From economic trends to climate change and vulnerability to cyber attack, we outline those trends that remind us we must stay alert to what is changing in the world if we intend to create a military as relevant and capable as we possess today.

Of course, under Rapist Racist Traitor Trump and his Destruction of the Nation tour, the Navy shut down the U.S. Navy Task Force Climate Change because it had been set up by President Barack Obama.

And why not? Trump himself won't face the repercussions of Climate Change. Trump's window of life is under 10 years. His children will be safely protected by the Billions of Dollars Trump is swindling from the US Department of Defense and Treasury and even his youngest child will, most likely, not suffer the disastrous effects of Trump's evil and ignorant regime.

What's Climate Change got to do with it? Climate Change Denial is a Conservative Psychosis

As Chicagoland digs itself out from yet another massive snowfall the 2013-2014 winter stands as the 5th heaviest snowfall since 1885 with a total accumulation of 66.8 inches thus far.

These blizzards have been preceded or followed by The Polar Vortex which has sent temperatures deep down into negatives nearly 50 degrees below freezing.

By, far this is the harshest winter in Chicago in my memory and the snowfall and deep freezes back me up. But, this is America and in the United States evidence and observation are trumped by Conservative Outrage.

First, it should be noted, snow plowing is Socialist. I'm sick and tired of conservatives stealing my tax dollars to plow roads for them to use. Instead of mooching off of me, why aren't conservatives buying winter radial tires and snowshoes and getting to work by themselves up out of the snow by their own bootstraps?

But, leaving aside right-wing hypocrisy, the reason Conservatives deny the evidence of Climate Change Nationwide and Worldwide is two-fold. One) Conservatives idolize the Rich, Adulation of the Plutocrats is a core component of conservative dogma, and; Two) conservatives would rather win an "argument" than help people. Seeing people suffer or be harmed is the favorite activity for right-wingers.

From 2001-2010 climate change denalism rose in the US. This coincides with the Bush/Cheney "victories" in 2000 and 2004 and the ascension of the Angry White Conservative Male.

Since then the Republican Party has engaged in full scale war against the American People, destroying protections for the poor, underfunding agencies designed to stop rapacious businesses, stealing Trillions of Dollars and channeling it to off shore and Swiss bank accounts and sending Americans to far away lands to die for the Egos of a group of Chicken Hawk Cowards.

But, while theft, rape and murder are always the end results of the election of Republicans it is not their end goal. Because the Modern Republican Party was created for the aggrandizement, protection and defense of the upper 1% who control the government and oppress the American people.

Thus, the real driving force behind Climate Change Denial is Massive Profits for the Big Pollution Industry.

Corporations, like BP, Patriot Coal, Freedom Industries, Tesoro Logistics, Duke Energy, the Koch Brothers, Massey Energy and others have been enjoying massive government welfare and non-existent regulation, while they literally gouge the World and kill people for profit.

Their profits come from destroying the Nation and the Planet while also passing on any incurred costs of their pollution to the rest of us. Besides the massive criminal negligence we've seen with the Koch Brothers petcoke in South side Chicago and Detroit, BP massive spill in the Gulf of Mexico and from their Whiting Indiana plant into Lake Michigan, and the massive toxic spills into rivers in West Virginia and North Carolina the amount of oil spilled in the U.S. in 2013 surpassed the last four decades combined;

Altogether, 800,000 gallons spilled from US railroads in the years from 1975 to 2010. That data, which comes from the Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration, does not include records of Canadian spills, some of which are thought to surpass one million gallons spilled on their own. 

In part because of major derailments in Alabama and North Dakota, over 1.15 million gallons of crude oil seeped from train cars.

Corporations are people but, personal responsibility ends when Corporate-hood begins... 

There's big money being made by the Pollution Industry and that money might end if Climate Change and anti-pollution regulation is adopted or enforced. So they've paid off the Republican Party and Pro-Business Democrats to protect them and rhetorically poisoned the already sick minds of conservatives to defend the Rich as they literally poison and destroy the planet.

Coal Miners forced to attend R-Money Campaign Event

The working class and the employing class have nothing in common.

I never quite understood the Regular guy Romney strategy of photo-ops with R-Money shown rubbing elbows with working class joes, his Brooks Brothers jacket off and his silk shirt sleeves impeccably rolled up (illustrating he's ready to "work"). But, at this point it doesn't matter.

Romney had a photo-op with Ohio Coal Miners owned by Murray Energy. Multiple miners allege they were forced to attend. Many being forced to take an unpaid day off. Murray Energy CFO Rob Moore brushed aside the allegations,

"Our managers communicated to our workforce that the attendance at the Romney event was mandatory."

See? They weren't forced! It was just mandatory they go there. Rob Moore did confirm pay was docked for all the workers.

Next on the Murray Energy Corporate Agenda is forcing the miners to take an unpaid day off to go vote and making voting for Romney "Mandatory" for employment.

Wage Slavery and Corporate Domination are here. And when your Corporate Owners tell you to do something you do it. It would be an awful shame if Murray Energy had to fire those miners for having the temerity to vote against R-Money...

Murray Energy has donated more than $900,000 to politicians in the last year — all of them Republicans.

With the Faux News and Mainstream Media pushing ceaselessly for Willard Mitt Romney his history as a cowardly Chicken Hawk, a slimy Vulture Capitalist, a swindler who has stolend billions of dollars and the livelyhood's of thousands of Americans are immaterial.

The 1% see an opportunity with Romney and Ryan to cement their strangehold upon the throats of the American people. Once they have implanted Romney in the White House the Rich will usher in an Era of Wage Slavery and Corporate Bondage.

But, while most conservatives continue to allow themselves to be duped into violent foaming at the mouth incoherence at the mere mention that the climate is being destroyed, mainly by rich powerful Corporate negligence, regular Americans understand what is happening,

Heartland Institute it's Time to pop the Champagne!

The owner of Moët & Chandon, Diageo Brands, has announced it will cut funding to the Heartland Institute over their idiotic Unabomber Global Warming billboard on the Ike (the perennially under-construction Eisenhower Expressway).

Heartland, ran an unabashedly emotional appeal, precisely because the overwhelming evidence indicates man-made climate change is an occurring phenomenon. Heartland is also standing by their original "experiment" by keeping the statement, "most prominent advocates of global warming aren’t scientists. They are murderers, tyrants, and madmen" proudly displayed on their website.

Fortunately, Heartland has been steadily losing funders and supporters. Back in March, General Motors confirmed it ended funding and it's 20 year association with the Heartland Institute.

Of course, dozens of companies still donate to Heartland Institute including a nice little Koch. The Charles G. Koch Foundation reportedly donated $200,000 in 2011. But, One-Fifth of their 2011 funding came from One Anonymous Donor,

"Our climate work is attractive to funders, especially our key Anonymous Donor (whose contribution dropped from $1,664,150 in 2010 to $979,000 in 2011 - about 20% of our total 2011 revenue). So the loss of Diageo and General Motors funding won't affect their mission of lying to sow doubt about man-made climate change. And there is absolutely no conflict of interest from having Koch Industries, one of the worst most profligate polluting Conglomerates in the United States, or any Corporation heavily invested in undercutting the EPA or environmental laws, providing Heartland funding.

But, Heartland please keep up the billboards along the Ike! You're helping the Illinois economy, hurting yourselves and making more people view climate change deniers, such as yourself, as dangerous loons.

Pray for Rain or Is it Warm in Here

In 1948 the Boston Braves had the slogan "Spahn and Sain and Pray for Rain" and in Baseball this was a reasonable plan for victory, but Prayer to fix weather conditions hasn't been a productive strategy since the Days of High Adventure...

Hysterical Raisins pointed out that last week Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin Asks Oklahomans to Pray for Rain on Sunday July 17; “I encourage Oklahomans of all faiths to join me this Sunday in offering their prayers for rain.”

Now, the response was a week of record heat across the entire United States. But, worse than the belief that we can pray for rain, is the work Faux News, the Republican Party and others are doing to undermine any effort to confront Climate Change.

As the temperatures soared last week and the drought deepened in Oklahoma and Texas, the cadre of snide climate change deniers were nowhere to be found unlike when Sean Hannity said, "Global warming, where are you? We want you back," after a large blizzard in February 2010.

Denying the fact of Climate Change is yet another litmus test for potential Republican office holders. Another No-New-Taxes Grover Norquist Pledge, another Vander Plaats Gay Marriage is bad and blacks were better off under slavery Pledge. And since confronting Climate Change poses the possibility that the GOP's owners, the Richest 1%, might lose some money from having to stop dumping tons of pollution and poisions into the environment it's easy to see why the entire Republican Party is willing to let the earth burn.

Additionally, it will be interesting to learn if the email accounts of the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia which lead to Faux's months long expose of nothing were also hacked at Rupert Murdoch's insistence.

Republican John Shimkus turning Illinois into Alabama

If you repeat a lie often enough, You're a Republican...

There is no doubt nor any reasonable discussion concerning global climate change. It has occurred in the past, it is occurring now, and it will continue to occur in the future. The only area for debate is the amount of impact positive and negative that man can have on the world. This should not be a political issue but guess who wants to make it one, that's right, the Republican Party.

Now some Republicans are climate change deniers out of brazen political machinations. Battered conservative voters hate the world and demand America be different, so if the world scientific community agrees climate change is happening then conservatives reflexively demand their politicians deny it.

But other Republican seek to impose their religious bigotry and ignorance onto America. Such as Republican Congressman John Shimkus of Illinois.



"I believe that is the infallible word of god," Shimkus declared because jesus whispers it into his ear every night in the original Aramaic that climate change isn't real, carbon dioxide makes for good breathing, and miners hate mine safety laws because they aren't in the bible or Constitution.

So, no amount of evidence will ever be enough for Shimkus because everything on earth (besides the bible) is coated in man's inherent evilness and as such can never dissuade him. John Shimkus is now vying for the leadership spot of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Get used to it America. The 300 Republican Tyrants in the Federal Government are going to run your life. The 300 Republican Tyrants are going to decide (often times based on a collection of bronze age myths of desert nomads) what is best for you, what you can and can not do with your body, what your quality of life will be and for how long they work you until Republicans deem you to old or ineffective and leave you to die.

However, unless you have a giant off shore bank account the Republican Party hates you and wants you to die. Here are a typical pair of Republican constituents: Charles and Samuel Wyly, who along with their wives, have donated $2.5 million to more than 200 Republican candidates and committees over the past 20 years, including over $1.3 million to the Republican National Committee. And guess what??? The two have been charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission with orchestrating a massive securities fraud scheme that netted them $550 million. Who would have thought Rich criminals would steal millions and then use those purloined riches to support Republicans??

And after Billionaire Criminals have purchased Republican politicians what do they do with that power? Well, that's the real question isn't it.

As we have seen over and over when Republicans are placed in control of Government they actively obstruct regulations and enforcement on Big Business. And the results are devastating. Not just mega murderous disasters at the Upper Big Branch Mine and the 2005 Texas City BP Oil Refinery Explosion or the near-destruction of the Gulf but also incidents such as the TVA Kingston Fossil Plant coal ash spill and TVA Widows Creek coal waste spill, which released over 1 billion gallons of toxic coal sludge into the Watts Bar Lake and the Emory River and 10,000 gallons of toxic gypsum material into Widows Creek, respectively [SourceWatch].

These are just a couple of the most egregious violations. Republicans actively tell Wealthy Business Owners to cut corners, eliminate safety and squeeze every bloody dollar from the lives of their workers they can.

But for Republicans it's not enough they kill Miners, Oil Rig Workers and other Americans they have to emotionally and ideologically stunt them as well.

So, inhuman scum merchants like Don Blakenship, Charles G. Koch and David H. Koch also use their stolen blood-soaked Millions to push lies and retard the intelligence of their blinkered conservative servants. Blakenship and the Koch Brothers are famous for pushing the global warming is a fraud meme, which is understandable because they make their money by raping the earth and destroying eco-systems. So, any legislation that would hurt their bank accounts must be stopped. As everyone knows Republicans and Conservatives place their Money above the Life and Health of every living thing on the planet.

Conservatives value Property over People. And every Republican, having been bought and paid for, then turns around and votes to ensure the rest of the American People are oppressed or killed and kept under the lash of Wage Slavery.

The Republican Party wants to return the World to a state of Feudal Dictatorship in which Racist Conservatives lynch and enslave society for the amusement of fat-faced, flabby-assed, cowards.

But, while Republicans bandy about millions and oversee the transfer of Trillions of Dollars of the world's wealth to their Plutocratic Oppressor Overlord Class they continue to stoke fears of ethnic and class by invoking "Unmarried Mothers" and Welfare Abuse.

What a load of manure. All the money ever spent to alleviate the Iron Heel of Republican Oppression doesn't add up to the money purposefully lost and stolen in Iraq during the Bush Cheney Regime. Republicans are scum who make it their mission to kill and oppress everyone.

Republicans can't help but show their utter hatred and desire to murder the poor and protect evil Corporations. Republicans defend and succor BP and Halliburton because those Companies kill poor people and there is nothing more lovely in the eyes of Republicans than a dead poor person.

Joe Barton, Steve King, Joe Wilson, Marsha Blackburn, Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin, Haley Barbour and the ImPotentate of the Punk Ass Bitch Republican Party R. Limbaugh get excited and aroused by the sight of dead poor people and environmental destruction.

The Republican Party is using BP, Halliburton and others to murder Americans. They can be no other rational reason the Republican Party has allowed BP to violate with gross impunity all US Environmental Laws for years. And especially under the Disastrous Regime of Dick & W.

Dick Cheney is poised to become the 3rd most dangerous cause of death in America. He's killed more Americans than anything but Cancer and Auto Accidents. I'd say employ Dick Cheney in the War on Terror but we all know he'd never move his quivering pasty chicken hawk ponderous bulk anywhere near a War Zone, he's a Republican after all so he's a Cowardly Murderer.

The Latest BP Gross Violations have superseded their previous reckless violations, in which BP murdered their workers by actively undercutting safety and purposefully violating EPA laws and regulations. BP's reckless behavior stems from the free hand and shielding they have received from The Republican Party and the Bush Cheney Regime.

And now Republicans, Joe Barton, Michele Bachmann, Steve King, John Boehner, Newt Gingrich and the rest of the Republican Punk Ass Bitches can't fall over themselves fast enough to defend BP and Murder Americans.

The Fascists at Faux News have called the Gulf Oil Spill 'Obama's Iranian Hostage Crisis'. I could go along with that because once again the Republicans are allied and negotiating with a Foreign Power to the detriment of the American people.

Man Made Disasters and Climate Change

The dramatic photos of the Man Made destruction of the Aral Sea and the reckless Corporate Negligence directly causing the never ending oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico should definitively end the debate about Climate Change. I write should knowing that the it won't because the Soulless Republican Party in defense of their Plutocratic Corporate Masters will fight to defend the Rights of BP, Haliburton and TransOcean to make billions even while the Seas die and Battered Republican Voters will accept whatever narrative Dick Armeys' Freedom Works, Fascist Fox News and the Texas School Boards tell them.

BP has a long history of ignoring and out right flaunting of regulations. In the Chicago land Area, BP's Whiting Refinery used the Bush Regime's lack of vigor or outright blind eye to dump massive amounts of benzene, mercury and other toxic and cancer causing chemicals into Lake Michigan.

Now after BP undertook a drilling operation, in which they had no remedies to fight or even prevent an accident if something went wrong, we learn multiple warning signs and problems began to occur a full 24 hours before the deadly explosion and never ending oil leak.

But, Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity have been dutifully repeating Non American Rupert Murdoch's fascist lies that Obama is somehow to blame. But, that's to be expected Hannity and Palin will do anything for money. Of course, Republicans love the Gulf Catastrophe because Republicans love BP and BP loves to kill their workers. Therefore, Republicans love to kill American Workers.

Wind Turbines and Power

A March 14th Chicago Tribune story, Wind turbines stir up bad feelings, health concerns in DeKalb County, highlighted the concerns residents in DeKalb County, Illinois over the Giant Wind Turbine Farms which began arriving in the Summer of 2009 and now number 126 turbines with an additional 19 in neighboring Lee County.

The nearby residents are bringing up all sorts of lawsuits proclaiming the Giant Blades are causing them migraines, hypertension and Sudden Unexplained Goat Deaths and herald the end of the Rural Way of Life. The really terrible thing is the power generated is owned by the non-local company NextEra Energy Resources and goes to a distribution center from where it is sent to various other states and municipalities, including Chicago, with a very small amount staying in DeKalb County.

The people who own the land on which the turbines have been built receive a payment from NextEra but most don't live adjacent to the Turbines. However, this is, of course Capitalism at work, build "potentially hazardous" blights and eyesores in someone else's backyard and transfer the wealth to yourself.

Well, the easiest fix is to give those living in the shadow of the wind farms free power for their homes and farms. This would be an incentive to living nearby.

Of course, evil Capitalists would try and use the Power of Government as they always do and build giant stadiums, factories, mega agri-business pigtropolis and suck up the free power but this could easily be remedied by a cap on the amount of power (say enough for a small family farm and house of say 6-8 persons in a year) and by making it a certain distance from the wind farm.

Is the Right Wing attack on Climate Change also an attack on Pollution laws and enforcement?

Most on the Right are utterly convinced that Global Climate Change is some kind of fraud or hoax. I have my doubts about man-made Climate Change but they are always tempered by the knowledge that those who vehemently deny Climate Change also just as vehemently deny Evolution. There is something in the conservative brain which makes them utterly convinced of their positions, doubtless and so stubborn that no amount of evidence is ever enough to change their views. Indeed to a conservative changing one's views and having an mind open to new ideas is anathema. Conservatives prefer slavery and idiocy to new thoughts. Indeed most Conservatives and Republicans think Slavery is a wonderful idea.

But, while the mass of conservatives lap up Sean Hannity's nightly garbage they are also sucking down filthy water, air and food because under the catastrophic Bush/Cheney regime the EPA was bridled, enforcement of pollution laws was curtailed or ignored and Companies felt free to rampantly violate all pollution standards in pursuit of a few extra dollars.

BP acknowledged that for the last six years its Whiting refinery violated federal pollution limits on benzene, a highly toxic chemical linked to leukemia and other health problems.

BP reported that it had processed too much benzene at the refinery's sewage treatment plant, about 15 miles southeast of Chicago.

Last year alone, the company processed more than 95 tons of benzene waste -- about 16 times the amount allowed. BP also violated the 6-ton limit from 2003 to 2007.

Whiting Refinery was cited who violations of U.S. and Indiana EPA regulations in October 2008,

Federal regulators say BP PLC violated the Clean Air Act by beginning to make modifications at its Indiana oil refinery along Lake Michigan to process Canadian crude without the proper permit.

The EPA said in November the modifications caused "significant increases" in sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, particulate matter and carbon monoxide emitted from the refinery.

Near Charleston West Virginia American families no longer have clean water to drink because the Bush Administration gleefully allowed Coal Companies to violate EPA standards and pollute the water table so badly that families are drinking a toxic sludge which is eating away at their bodies:

In fact, her entire family tries to avoid any contact with the water. Her youngest son has scabs on his arms, legs and chest where the bathwater — polluted with lead, nickel and other heavy metals — caused painful rashes. Many of his brother’s teeth were capped to replace enamel that was eaten away.

Neighbors apply special lotions after showering because their skin burns. Tests show that their tap water contains arsenic, barium, lead, manganese and other chemicals at concentrations federal regulators say could contribute to cancer and damage the kidneys and nervous system.

In the last five years alone, chemical factories, manufacturing plants and other workplaces have violated water pollution laws more than half a million times.

But conservatives don't care. Republicans and Conservatives love when Americans die, the sound of Americans suffering is music to the Republican ear.

And when Americans voice their sorrows or concerns Conservatives like Beck, R. Limbaugh, M. Malkin and Laura Ingraham make fun of their suffering or the Right trots out horse mouthed (or is that jack-ass mouthed) Michelle Bachmann with her odd body language, excessive blinking, frozen faced smile, vacant wide-eyed stare and stilted speech patterns punctuated with strange arm and hand gesticulations to declare the planet was saved already!

According to the AP the stolen University of East Anglia emails do not purport to show Wild-eyed Lying Scientists concocting a Great Big Conspiracy to create Climate change.

The 1,073 e-mails examined by the AP show that scientists harbored private doubts, however slight and fleeting, even as they told the world they were certain about climate change. However, the exchanges don't undercut the vast body of evidence showing the world is warming because of man-made greenhouse gas emissions.

But, the Fox News led Terrorists on the Right and the Anti-Human, Anti-Science, Anti-Education Republicans don't care they have a staggering supposed controversy (their Yuri...) which even when debunked and repeatedly shown to be a lie will only serve to strengthen the resolve of the nose-breathing teabaggers who hate humanity and have been conditioned by the Republican Party to hate science and learning...

And yes I am aware that in the film No Way Out, Costner is, in fact, a Soviet Agent (just like Orly Taitz) thus leading to the possible conclusion that Global Warming is not true. Which is a possibility, I am not 100% certain that Man-made Climate Change is occurring, and am willing to look at evidence to the contrary, unlike the conservatives, their Republican fondlers and the Right Wing Terrorists. They have absolute certainty their positions concerning every issue are infallible. And because they start out with their conclusions they engage in thievery, deception and blatant intellectual dishonesty in order to ensure the "evidence" they acquire conforms to their preconceived ignorance.

And what I do know is that the Bush/Cheney Regime allowed companies to flout pollution laws because violently stupid Republicans like Michele Bachmann believe the planet to have been saved already and that the earth and it's inhabitants exist for the sole purpose of providing the Republican Party with money and luxury...

Winter and the Climate

Well, Winter has officially arrived in the Chicago-land area with the heavy wet snow dumped on us. That Earth's Climate changes with time is an incontestable fact, the point at issue is; Can man-made causes affect the Climate?

The Republicans led by Fox News and their Punk Ass Bitch Conservative base have finally played their trump card when it comes to the issue: Scientists are engaged in a massive conspiracy to foist the Hoax of Global Warming onto the world.

That is exactly what is being set forward with the stolen emails and the Sean Hannity led Fox News push to convince their followers that Scientists are engaged in the, "Biggest scientific fraud, I think, in our lifetime."

But, it's not merely man-made climate change, Sean Insannity is questioning. He like most Punk Ass Bitch Right Wing Conservative Terrorists hate science in general and while I think climate change is not a settled issue, I'm cognizant the same group of lying Teabaggers claim Evolution is a Giant Hoax and various other Scientists and Educators are engaged in a cross scientific discipline World-Wide Multi-Generational Conspiracy.

Republicans have for years been cultivating proudly ignorant members; Championed by Queen Semi-Mayor Sarah Hot and Palin who has turned Active Ignorance into her Crown and Scepter. And funded by Billionaires (Charles Koch and David Koch for instance) they spend millions to undercut education and ensure Americans reach adulthood ignorant and violently stupid.

The Right wants to divorce Americans from learning and understanding and make them dependent and pliable to the Control of the Anti-Human Anti-Science Right, which views the American people and the Planet as a giant reservoir of money for the Republican Elite to tap into and drain at their leisure.
