Look at all the lies he's told about this, don't forget he conjured up a scenario where an unnamed President congratulated him on these bombings and said he too wanted to do it. All the dead soldiers families came up to him, big strong families, with tears in their eyes saying thank you and finish the job. Now he's claiming he's speaking ("very strong talks") with Top Men in Iran but no you can't know their names...

So, today he gave one of his patented tarmac briefings, for which the corporate media love him. I recommend you watch and not just rely on the chunks you see on Bluesky or elsewhere because you see how much he's deteriorated and how badly his speech patterns have become.
Traitor trump is still cunning. He's recognized he's losing popularity and so like the canny conman he is, he's returned to his bread & butter bigotry: TRANSGENDER!!! And let's blame the Democrats for everything. Oh and look at how good I did in Venezuela!!! I did enjoy how Traitor trump told a Newsman guy "You're not doing a very good job" and when the Newsmaxxer kept asking questions, trump calmly told him, "You're not doing a good job did you hear me?"

But, besides the focus on Graham invoking Iwo Jima, his whole Faux News interview was an encapsulation of the current Republican Party; bloody emotional rhetoric, riddled with lies, made-up statistics, blame for President Joe Biden, a non-stop invocation of Fear&Anger, and the kicker calling Iran the #1 State-sponsor of Terrorism worldwide.
Sorry to break it to you but, the United States is and has been for this entire quarter century the #1 sponsor of State-supported Terrorism. Perhaps followed by Israel and then Saudi Arabia.
The campaign to fed Americans nothing but non-stop lies and ceaseless propaganda has been so wildly successful that a child raping, career conman, traitor and thief has been twice elected to the American Presidency.
And don't forget... the Royal We. One thing which always comes out when Republicans are stressed is their absolute belief in Hierarchy. For the upcoming battle of Kharg Island, I was thinking worst case scenario was Tarawa not only because of the casualties inflicted on the Marines but because it was widely criticized at the time. But, it's interesting Lindsey Graham would reference Iwo Jima.
As most people probably know the Battle of Iwo Jima is the only Pacific Island hopping campaign battle in which American casualties (Killed and Wounded) outnumbered Imperial Japanese forces, although the Japanese died almost to the last man.
But, who fucking knows what's coming next after Donnie Don't Care declared a 5 day moratorium on bombing Iran. So Good Fucking Luck Marines, this is the most ill-advised, capricious, terribly managed, unplanned, mismanaged cock up in US History. The only thing from making this an absolute atrocious failure is no ground troops have yet been introduced.
But, while Traitor trump side-stepped the question of pulling back both MEUs, the 82nd Airborne is getting ready to drop in and with syphilitic shit-for-brains making decisions based on whomever got the last word in with him, it seems likely he'll reverse himself and this may continue to escalate.
My only hope is trump being a natural coward will make him balk at a Boot-on-the-Ground invasion.
