Drunk Van Orden demands Governor Tony Evers and Congressman Mark Pocan stop him before he kills again.

Derrick Van Orden is a sloppy mean drunk. He's one of those alcoholics that gets few drinks into his big belly and becomes angry, red-faced, and lashes out at everyone.

After Drunken Van Orden voted for the murderous BBB on July 4th he frantically begged Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers to sign the Wisconsin State budget for the next 3 fiscal years in order that the BBB didn't destroy the rural hospitals Van Orden just defunded; 

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of signing the proposed state budget into law without delay. As you are aware, timely enactment is especially critical this year due to the proposed increase in the state provider tax, which must be effectuated before the anticipated signing of the One, Big, Beautiful Bill on or around July 4, 2025, Delaying the state budget enactment risks losing vital opportunities for the state’s healthcare system and the Wisconsinites who rely on it. Healthcare and rural healthcare, in particular, is vital to us in Wisconsin. ” Rep. Van Orden stated in the letter.

It used to be Republicans would take credit for things they voted against as when disgraced closeted Illinois Republican Aaron Schock took credit for President Obama's American Reinvestment Act, after voting against the ARA, and then having President Obama's name removed from all the signs of all the projects funded by the ARA to keep Republican constituents in his district and elsewhere ignorant of who passes laws to help them.

In many respects, Drunk Van Orden is continuing this classic Republican tradition but, another way he is emulating all the asshole Republicans past and present is to use the You're Mentally Ill get Help hur-dur-dur insult.

Drunken Van Orden continued his liquor-fueled tirade on camera against Wisconsin Congressman Mark Pocan because this is what Republicans do now. 

Drunk Van Orden was an erstwhile Officer in the United States Navy yet he attended the Jan 6th Insurrection though he's always claimed not to have entered the Capitol building (I'm certain he feels sheepish now since the Jan6th Coup is a badge of honor amongst the Right).  He's a disgrace to the Naval Services but, more importantly he's emblematic of the modern Republican; a mean-spirited troll who not only doesn't care to have any decorum or manners but is actively rewarded by his voters for being a trollish asshole even as he votes to kill them.

Drunk Van Orden's 3rd district is the south western half of Wisconsin;  while it does include Eau Claire and La Crosse, it's the really rural Driftless region with rivers and farmland, he won in 2024 with 212,000 votes to Rebecca Cooke's 200,000.  His voters and the residents on Wisconsin rely on the widely spaced out Aspirus hospitals receiving Medicaid money yet, they've continually voted for the ilk like Van Orden who cut Medicaid.   

President Biden vowed to help all Americans, and passed the Infrastructure bill specifically to bring things like broadband to underserved rural rightwing communities, those people turned around and told President Biden fuck you we want fascism and voted for traitor trump, and a Republican House and Senate.

This is not a messaging problem for the Democrats.  It is partially a Media problem, especially since the Media has made their job to lie for Republicans and lie about Democrats.  But, white people are so propagandized as to be wholly unable to differentiate reality from fiction.  I don't know how to overcome Republican perfidy and the self-radicalization whites actively seek out by democratic means, when White People continually vote to immolate themselves.
