Trump Neo-Nazi Scottie Nell Hughes grabs facts by the pussy

"Will you please stop saying that word? My daughter is listening." Scottie Nell Hughes, who knew the word she was referring to was "facts".
Trump surrogate and good little bundist Scottie Nell Hughes caused a bit of a furor this December when she stated,
"One thing that has been interesting this entire campaign season to watch, is that people that say facts are facts - they’re not really facts. Everybody has a way of interpreting them to be the truth or not true. There are no such things, unfortunately, as facts. So Mr Trump’s tweets, amongst a certain crowd, a large part of the population, are truth."
Hughes was clearly eliding Darth Cheney who famously stated, Raygun "proved deficits don't matter". Trump's election "victory" proves facts don't matter.

This is not the first time a conservative has stated "there are no such things as facts", No less a luminary than Ronnie Raygun himself stated "facts are stupid things." And Karl Rove was sickeningly prescient when he spoke of the of the RepublicaNazi reality, "[W]hen we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities..."

Scottie's comments are just conservatism distilled down to it's basest form; pure propaganda. There are no facts to right-wingers there is only the ever evolving narrative which conforms to whatever they believe and aids them in quest for Power. The natural end-state of right-wing beliefs is a boot stamping on a human face forever,

In this quest for power, conservative neo-nazis readily believe Trump actually won the popular vote because millions of illegals voted at the behest and urging of Kenyan Marxist Usurper Barack Obama. Those are the facts.

Of course, CNN is doing their best bringing on Trump surrogates and former elected Republicans New Hampshire State Representatives and portraying them as regular everyday white people who when pushed to support their "facts" respond just google it, because anything you want to believe can be found by googling it.

Addendum:
A decade ago John Stauber released The Best War Ever about the RepublicaNazi propaganda efforts to dupe the American people into supporting the Iraq War. Stauber talked about incestuous amplification that the Bush/Cheney cabal began to believe their own propaganda as the war dragged on and did not conform to right-wing lies of Mission Accomplished and ended up fooling themselves.

What Stauber and most people didn’t appreciate, myself included, is the Bush/Cheney cabal didn't end up deluding themselves, they always knew they were spreading lies.

There are no such thing as facts?!? You've got to be kidding me. The deplorables that say that are stupider than rocks.

I'm fairly certain I first learned there were no objectively true facts, merely culturally determined and contingent subjectivities, from distinctly left-leaning university professors.

I mention this not to say that "both sides do it," but just to point out that in their philosophy, as in their economics, the new right seems bound and determined to present themselves as a particularly crass and asinine parody of the left.

Which would make sense. Like the Nazi Party, the Trump movement claims to be beyond partisan politics, beyond right and left. It is purely a movement of the will of the people (which of course happens to be led by billionaires who want to give tax breaks to other billionaires, but pay no attention to the men behind the curtain!).

Ohhhh, don't call them deplorables I learned from the media that hurt their feelings which is why the fuck your feelings no-PC crowd voted for Trump. HRC wasn't sensitive and hurt the feelings of the WWC.

David, totally understand your point and I agree. Conservatives love to laud themselves as the no-PC hard objectivists, totally independent thinkers, but in reality (with its well known liberal bias) they cling to absolute solipsism and gulp down the propaganda as fast as the conservative neo-nazis can feed it to them.

Jerry Critter said...

Well, if they are the no-PC crowd, then it shouldn't bother the deplorables to be called deplorables.

Ironic how thin-skinned and easily offended right-wingers always are, or should I say shamelessly hypocritical. But, it's all done in order to advance their evil bigoted agenda.

David said...

"I'm not PC" doesn't equal "I favor free speech." It just means, "I want the freedom to insult anyone I like without social consequences."

I think I can count on my fingers the number of times in my life "I know it's not PC, but" has been followed by a comment that was remotely insightful. If it's worth saying you don't usually have to preface it with a disclaimer.

There are no such things as fascist facts.
In SNH's world facts are lies and lies are facts.

As Mike Pence stated bluntly, 'facts are what Trump says they are', and as echoed by conservative neo-nazi Kellyanne Conway added, 'everything Trump does is ipso-facto Presidential'.

So get ready for a tiny gilded slipper stamping on Americans faces for the next 4 years.

I have another quote for you, this one in defense of "fake news" such as (I presume) the one about the Amish voting for Trump or that Barack Obama signed an executive order banning the pledge of allegiance in schools.

This is an excerpt from the article Civil War Is Unavoidable: Divided Americans Will Inevitably Turn Toward Militancy and Mob Action by Libertarian "journalist" Brandon Smith...

[The Left] must resort to ankle biting with efforts like the "fake news" meme, which is designed to undermine the alternative media through ad hominem.

So, it's just a "meme", even though Paul Horner (the dude responsible for the two stories I mentioned) admitted he made it up and even though we know Russia is behind a lot of it... "Russia has made large-scale, long-term efforts to build online fake new propaganda outlets with significant audiences in the US" (according to this story).

There REALLY is no such things as facts anymore. At least if you're a deluded Rightwinger. These are the kind of people who think a police officer, if he shoots a fleeing Black man in the back (killing him), did so in "self defense". Or that MILLIONS of illegal immigrants voted in the presidential election and that Trump actually won the popular vote (as the idiot-in-chief recently tweeted).

Dervish - We are, unfortunately, eyewitnesses to a fascinating sociological experiment which one could call "Fascism Meets Twitter."

Conspiracy theories are always a part of extreme authoritarian movements. In large part it's a way to explain their own failures - e.g. we would have won World War I but for the Jewish communists who ruined our economy, we would have collectivized agriculture but for the Jewish capitalists who sabotaged our plans, etc., etc. (At least it's a breath of fresh air that unlike the Nazis and the Stalinists the Trumpists have yet to blame Jews for their trouble... I guess.)

We used to imagine that this happened because of a few very intelligent manipulators at the top like Goebbels. In the Twitter age, that is entirely unnecessary. You can have a mob of poorly educated deplorables egging each other on much more effectively and at much less cost.

The only grim comfort I take from this is the expectation of the crashing halt that will occur by the end of January.

HUUUGE NEVADA VOTER FRAUD UNCOVERED? WORSE THAN ACORN

Ed - Thanks for having the courage to post that link here although I'm sure it will get censored soon.

I hear that over 10,000 soldiers were ORDERED to file false registrations and vote in key districts to try and get Clinton elected but REFUSED ORDERS. Very brave!

Now there's a great source of information, - David's ears.

Jerry -- Of course, it is always possible that both Ed and I are completely full of shit.

@ David,

I never censor these conservative neo-nazi comments. Firstly, I have a job so I'm too busy. Secondly, it's a game of whack-a-mole to delete the copious conservative lies which have taken over the internet.

But, it's instructive to have the primary sources the patient zero for the festering right-wing falsehoods which smaller blogs and duped conservative drones reference when they spew forth their pablum of propaganda.

David said...

I don't know, Gene. If a site like Newsmaxtv.vegas say something is true, who am I to disagree? I mean, it's not like just any random propagandist could make a website as convincing as that.
