Military Suicides and Deaths Please Republicans and Conservatives

They sound most pleasing to a conservative's ear is that of a veteran dying...

Newtradamus, Sick Rantorum and Faux News couldn't wait to report American service members had been killed in Afghanistan and immediately blamed President Obama following the revelation of the Quran burnings. The Republican Party is full of Vultures who at the sign or smell of death swoop in to pick at the carcass for political and financial gain. And if service members are put in harm's way because Rick Santorum wants to pretend to be a tough guy, "I think it shows weakness," on TV back in the States...

Prior to the Obama Presidency, conservatives rarely if ever mentioned that Marines, Soliders, Sailors and Airmen were dying daily in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why is that?

President Obama needs to end the Bush Afghanistan Debacle. Obama got Bin Laden, that should have ended the whole mission and lead to a quick pull-out. The longer he pushes the Bush Wars the more he assumes partial responsibility.

Republicans and conservatives believe their own chest puffing he-man I'm a Warrior Lies. Right-Wingers are, by and large, warmongers, cowards, and chicken hawks. More than willing to beat the drum for war but absent when it comes to stepping on the yellow footprints and signing on the dotted-line.

What conservatives really want are the accolades and honor associated with being a tough-guy soldier without the hassle of actual Duty.

Look at how Republicans and conservatives treat returning Veterans.

If Republicans really cared about Veterans and their post war struggles they would have made long-term care and Veteran assistance they #1 priority, instead Mitch McConnell stated his top priority was to make President Obama a one-term President.

If Republicans really cared about wounded veterans, they would have demanded the resignation of David S. Chu, the Pentagon's undersecretary for personnel and readiness, when he said in 2005 that Veterans benefits, "have gotten to the point where they are hurtful. They are taking away from the nation's ability to defend itself."

Sean Hannity wraps his entire persona as a hard-charging flag waving super American yet while wrapping himself in the flag he also wraps himself in stolen charitable contributions. Sean Hannity's Freedom Alliance Charity took in $10,800,000 dollars in 2006 and only $397,000 went to intended charitable recepients a little more than 3.5%.

As dutiful slaves and dogs of the 1%, Republicans are tasked with keeping money and benefits from the American people. As such, whenever a Veteran takes his life Republicans cheer and throw parties because it means more money for their Plutocratic Master's Off-shore accounts in Luxemborug, the Cayman Islands and Switzerland.

Republicans and conservatives use the Troops. They use soldiers and marines to fatten their bank accounts and when that service member is broken in body or spirit the Right-Wingers of this Nation do everything they can to shun them and push them to an early grave because Republicans always, always choose Profits over People.

Most likely Hannity will funnel this money into Republican campaigns or super pacs.

Oh no way the yellow fringe, Hannity has been funneling the duped conservative rubes money straight into his bank account and into his multi-million dollar palatial estate in upper New York State.

"I'm Back"!
Lets me address Afghanistan - Just like with the war in Iraq nobody can define what victory means - We are doing in the 'stan" what failed in the "nam" with pacification. Okay, we have ran the Taliban out of Kandihar and Helmand provinces (which ARE not close to the Pakistani border). As soon as we leave, the Taliban will retirn same as the Viet Cong did in Vietnam.
We are not accomplishing shit. Okay, we have eliminated Osama Bin Laden and put a big dent in al-Qedas's command structure - I say,
"Mission Accomplished". Karzai's task is to deal with the Taliban and it appears a large number of his national police force and army have Taliban sympathies.

If Obama gets reelected we will see a drawdown - if he doesn't; the war will continue just like in Iraq with no mind paid to the cost in money nor the dead, wounded, and maimed.
War is good business and Republicans know this. The Defenese contractors over in Afghanistan are almost stealing as much money from us as Karzai and his crroks are - But, they are contributing to GOP candidates campaighn chests.
Example: Hallibuton/KBR got no bid contracts for Iraq and stole US blind - Cheney and Bush were behind this. A blind eye is given to that.

As to Hannity: He is a Republican.
Do you find it strange that he does things unethical or even criminal?

The word for goodbye in Pashto is
"de kuday pa aman". We need to tell Helmud Karzai exacty that.

Gene,
you are such a laughable and reliable tool of the left.

I don't know a lot about the charity scandal, but I do know enough to investigate both sides.

AIP is an ultra-liberal charity rating organization, handing out F's to those it doesn't like while lavishing praise on every gay, lesbian and environmental charity. Not that there's anything wrong with that (as Seinfeld would say), but it helps to know where people are coming from when evaluating the validity of their statements.

Go google other charity rating organizations and you'll find Freedom Alliance in the middle of the pack because it opens all its books to auditing.

Here's the other side of the story:

Among other things, they have over $15,000,000 sitting in trusts because most of the children have not reached college age yet.

I know I'm wasting my time. You libs love your angry propaganda extra crispy. You celebrate diversity until it threatens to pierce your fantasy bubble.

Silverfiddle,

Sadly, it appears you're dominated by emotions. You automatically attribute positive feelings to any conservative by the mere fact they call themselves a Rightie. You automatically attribute negative feelings to any Liberal merely because they are a leftie.

Here's what it means to be a Republican Supporting the Troops.

Throughout Bush's Presidency the Right used the troops as props. It was the ultimate armor. Any criticism was an attack on the Troops. It was also a shameless lie to cover the Reactionary Agenda of the Bush Presidency.

Of course, now that Obama is President the Hannity Rule of Supporting the Troops means supporting the President can be cast aside. Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds...

As for,Freedom Alliance is a money-making scam which is heavily intertwined with several other Right-Wing Fraudulent charities.

According to the CREW,

CREW’s IRS complaint against Freedom Alliance asks the IRS to consider revoking its charitable tax status because the organization has engaged in prohibited political activities. When Freedom Alliance first formed in 1999, the IRS conditioned its charitable tax status on the organization removing politically partisan materials from its website and warned it not to intervene in political campaigns. Despite those warnings, Freedom Alliance’s website includes links to Lt. Col. North’s columns, which are largely political, rents its mailing list to a communications firm that works for organizations that “seek to reach Republicans and conservatives across the United States,” and hosts an annual “Freedom Cruise” with Republican politicians such as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele. In addition, Freedom Alliance appears to have a relationship with Team America, a PAC formed by Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO), dedicated to anti-immigration efforts and supporting conservative candidates.

And Ollie North has showed no signs of stopping his partisan attacks posted to the Freedom alliance website.

I just brought you facts, don't know how you read emotions into that.

You are working off on an old story.
The FACT is that the IRS has NOT revoked its charitable status, so it's all just blather and hot air, which, along with BS, is what lefty rhetoric is made of.

And don't talk to me about the troops, I was one, and I'm well aware how all sides exploit us for narrow partisan purposes. That's something new to you?

You need to get out more...

Listen Silver I know you're upset about being used by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowtiz, Kristol, Hannity, the entire Faux News propaganda team and all the Neo-Cons who put you into a war based on lies.

But, I am glad you finally realize the Right-Wing uses the troops to advance their political agenda instead of safeguarding America and that you tacitly acknowledge the Republican party is made up of nothing but liars, cowards, charlatans and chicken hawks.

But, your refusal to see the context of Sean Hannity's scam charity is amazing. Yes, a spokesman for the Freedom Alliance denies the allegations. But, look at the data they provided it's for 2008 and not 2006.

Also, recall the context of when the allegation came out. Hannity was spearheading the Faux News push of the totally grassroots Tea Party rallies and had to pull out.

And based on Hannity's history of egregious lying, 'Bush inherited 9/11' 'Bush left the country better off than when he got it', Bin Laden would be alive if President Obama had his way', Hannity has no margin for trust and so I don't give it to him.

Silverfiddle said...

your problem is you think its just the right doing it. You're one-eye blind.

You want to go after that charity? Bring us data from 2009-2011. And you're ignoring the data that was reported. That money went into a trust not Hannity's pockets, which is reported to the IRS.

If you don't think Obama's thugs at the IRS haven't climbed all over this, you are incredibly naive.

Were they doing something wrong, they would have been busted.

Another lefty propaganda trope. No smoke. No fire, just lies and propaganda, and you are a useful tool of it.

Good Silverfiddle! The Hatred is swelling in you! "Obama's Thugs at the IRS" ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
