Republicans hate America 5: Speaker Shutdown Solipsism

As we all know Republicans view Government as a mechanism to harm as many of those people as possible.  Government is not a positive good in their minds but, a powerful tool which must be weaponized by Republicans to immiserate the lives of the downtrodden and afflict the afflicted. 

But, Republicans since Nixon knew the way to do this was The Madman Theory; in which Tricky Dick would try to convince overseas adversaries that Nixon was a volatile pyscho and irrational lunatic so they'd better not provoke him.  Modern Republicans have simply adopted this and applied the lessons learned abroad at home.

Of course, the American conservative movement has been stewing in noxious rightwing agitprop for 50 years so the useful idiot Republican voters are no longer merely the foot soliders of the Reactionary movement to destroy the United States and replace it with a Fascist NeoConfederate simulacrum of America but, are know the leaders both philosophically and politically.

In reality, Republicans are domestic abusers who always, always, always couch their abuse of America in the framing of Look what you made me do.  Thus, it should be of little surprise that Republicans, Rightwing Media, and Squeaker McCarthy himself Blame the Demmycrats!

What a mendacious scumbag.  That Squeaker McCarthy conspired to throw a last-minute CR at the Democratic Party with the intention and expectation they would vote it down so he could Blame the Demmycrats! for the Government Shutdown and then when Hakeem Jeffries got the entire Democratic House to vote yes (save for Illinois Congressman Mike Quigley who just so happens to represent Ukrainian Village in Chicago) and after the Democrats voted in support of the CR, Qevin McCarthy went on the Sunday Talk Shows to Blame the Demmycrats! is stupid and beyond shamless and into the realm of quixotic idiocy.

And even before this McCarthy proved himself an untrustworthy scoundrel having just this year betrayed the debt ceiling limit deal with President Biden.  But, the idea that the Democratic Party owed it to Qevin McCarthy and the Institution to save him from Republican Perfidy after months, if not years of his despicable behavior, including but not limited to the Benghazi bullshit, his last 10 months of inept and villainous Speakership, and his FUCKING WHITE-WASHING of the Jan6th Insurrection is the peak of Both Sides Do It (but, the Democrats are worse) Corporate Media coverage.  

And the Democrats didn't say one word during the Republican Speaker Fight.  They let the American-Hating Republicans make the both sides of the argument for why McCarthy along with every other Republican Representative is terrible.  The Democratic Party is expected to be the adults in the room, even as McCarthy insults and blames them for everything and are thus expected to save him from his own actions and the actions of his Party. 

But, understand this is only going to get worse because the Republican Party doesn't "govern" especially not for the betterment of the American People.  No, the Republican Party is a fascist cabal whose job is too cut taxes and regulation on the Rich and Corporate Power and to inculcate hatred and violence towards minorities, immigrants, the LGBTQ community, liberals, teachers, non-christians and anyone else who stands in the way of the creation of the NeoConfederate Nation held aloft by the 3 legs of White Power, Fundamentalist religion, and Corporate Hegemony. 

From Black to White, the changing face of Drug Addiction and Punishment

Now, that white opioid users have surplanted black people as the face of Addiction, America has begun to experience a change of heart when it comes to Draconian Drug Laws and Sentences.

Before moving on to the body of this post let me note, I am all in favor of decriminalization of a minor drug like cannabis and a pivot on harder drugs towards medical treatment as opposed to punishment. But, it's incontravertable that society's pivot towards treating Opiate Use as a medical illiness instead of as a criminal act is because the weight of the Criminal Laws are now wrecking white people's lives and not just those in black or brown communities.

All of sudden, white people have begun to experience the horrors the 50 years of Republican War on Drugs has wreaked upon minorities. Harsh Punishment used to be reserved for those people. Now, whites get to see their children's futures ruined over minor non-violent drug possession charges.

As an aside, this is why I don't believe in heightening the contradictions, i.e. allowing Donald Trump to assume the Presidency in order to bring about the perfect left candidate. White Working Class People, the base of the Republican Party, were abso-fucking-lutely fine with harsh laws as long as the long-haired hippies were getting the truncheons and blacks were being incarcerated/ruined for drugs.

Now, that those same rules are applied to them? Well, it's time to re-evaluate the War on Drugs!!!

For the last 5 decades, the Republicon Party at the behest of their Plutocratic Owners, have been dismantling the Progressive Gains of the 20th century, the so-called American Dream. At first they started with black and brown Americans because they knew Whites were enjoying the benefits of Liberal Democratic Society and wouldn't say much.

Unlike, the contention the Democratic Party abandoned the white working class 50 years ago, the Democratic Party decided to make good (as best they could) to the promises made to African-Americans and other marginalized segments of society.

Whites who had nearly been the sole benefactors of New Deal Government Programs became irritated, especially as the Republican Party made sure that any gains for minorities would be taken directly from the pockets of the working class, that other people were being aided by those programs.

Nixon, a master politician, understood this back in 1968 and took advantage to win the Presidency,

“The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

Ronald Reagan identified the Government, the one now helping poor blacks, as the problem. Of course, while he demonized welfare queens and steak-eatin' young bucks he was busily dismantling the manufacturing base of America. For blacks in the 1980's the loss of economic opportunity in large cities, was thus replaced with Gangs and Drug-based Capitalism.

The continued Republicon assault on the American Worker and Industry and the transition to a finance-based Capitalism as opposed to manufacturing of the 20th century has reached working class whites.

George W(orst POTUS Ever) Bush attempted to delay the full impact of Republicon Capitalism on American Society by trying to swindle Social Security and dumping a massive influx of capital into the hands of the Vultures on Wall Street, but was defeated. If he had been successful perhaps the Republican Recession of 2007 would have been averted for another decade or perhaps just a few years.

In either case, Bush/Cheney would have been a safe enough distance to proclaim it wasn't demonstrably their fault.

Thus, whites who had already seen their good-paying Union jobs and benefits disappear thanks to right-wing Vulture Capitalism saw their home equity and meager retirement savings vanish into Mitt Romney's Cayman Island Bank Accounts and into 50,000 millionaires secret UBS Swiss Bank Accounts.

So, while we've also witnessed the greatest decline in standard of living and life expectancy for working class white people we've seen those same white people turn to the only thriving industry left in America, Drug Dealing.

President Obama is just like President Nixon. It's the latest slander on Obama promulgated by the pathetic Right.

Except you see Nixon resigned in disgrace, whereas Obama will go down as perhaps the GREATEST PRESIDENT EVER.

After having inherited the disgusting mess Bush/Cheney left the country in, when (or if) Obama is able to extricate the US from the Phony Wars on Terrorism for Profit and reigns in the Corporate Raiders of the American Economy who had Bush splay the American people out in front of them for repeated violations, in accordance with the Ronald Reagan Piss Down Your Back And Tell You It's Raining economic doctrine, and when Obama ensures the forgotten segment of American society have access to humane medical treatment and aren't cosigned to death by the Republicans Party; Obama will be accorded Top 3 status in the history of America.

But, further enhancing his legacy is the fact that perhaps only one other President had to deal with repeated death threats, not only from ignorant bigots, but in Obama's case from the leaders of the Pro Human Pain and Suffering Chicken Hawk Punk Ass Bitch Republican Party.

Punk Ass Bitch Republicans are actively inciting their followers the 9/12ers, Birtherites, Teabaggers, Get-a-Job Shouters, the "suddenly" fiscally conservatives to Insurrection and the assassination of Obama. Of course, being the cowards that they are, R. Limbaugh, Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, Sean Hannity, Paul Broun, Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and the rest of the flabby assed Punk Ass Bitches would claim they had no idea their constant vitriol, cries of Hitler, death panels, revolution and outright falsehoods and lies directed at Obama had anything to do with the attempted murder they hope and pray happens to Obama.
