After the greatest opening of any political convention in American history, with powerful speeches from American patriots Congresswoman AOC, Steve Kerr, Jason Isbell, Sean Fain, and Mighty Joe Biden himself.  Day 2 was a hell of encore amped off with a typical Barack Obama homerun.  Couple that with President Harris and Vice President Walz in Milwaukee posting out Donald Trump took women's rights from them and continues to shit upon Medal of Honor recipients to a packed stadium while the DNC was on-going was brilliant.  The Corporate media is frantic desperate to get their Dear Beloved Donald back into this race.  Every mainstream media outlet is just ignoring Trump's decline into complete abject insanity while they parse every syllable and punctuation by the speakers at the DNC.

But, the Corporate Media panic and flailing Trump/Vance Failing campaign weren't supposed to happen.  The Media thought there was no chance Joe Biden would place the Nation and Democracy above his personal ambitions.  After all, they don't and they wouldn’t!  So DC Pundits and the Courtier Corporate Press thought they could simply hammer Biden as old and befuddled (or worse) for months while ignoring DonOld Dementia Trump and work to depress Democratic voter turnout so that Republican bad actors at various levels could steal just enough and suppress just enough votes to put their Dear DonOld back into the White House.

Then poof... gone 

It's well known the mainstream media hates Kamala Harris and hoped their hamstringing Joe Biden would lead to an open convention with scenes of chaotic power brokering, venal backstabbing, and political intrigue so they could write their cherished DEMS IN DISARRAY story lines but, thanks to the political acumen and maneuvering of the Biden White House poof... gone as well.

So last night they hoped for large-scale riots and violence reminiscent of 1968 to declare we need strongman for these times not a dorito eating women who can’t handle her own coronation and instead we got the Greatest Opening Night of a political convention ever.  So the corporate media was reduced to whining it’s Too Long! <cry.emoji>

The Harris Walz campaign is already historic but once they win it’s going to be a campaign for all time. Overcoming a Fascist Wannabe.  Overcoming the a mendacious Republican Party of treasonous bigots and thieves.  Doing it will the Corporate Media is trying to hamstrung and undermine you and bolster your opponent at every turn.  Historic and we are witnessing political mythology.  Americans 100 years from know will see the Biden/Harris elections as a turning point against American fascism while placing this campaign into the pantheon of great moments in American history.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz stand with American Patriots and Freedom Lovers instead of Traitors, Thieves, Foreign Dictators and Billionaire Plutocrats. But, it's far from over.  Republicans infiltrators and criminals are planning on undoing the will of the American people if possible and will, resort to violence they are thwarted.  But, it's time to put Trump into the ground "Night! Will the Corporate Media cover President Biden's stunning diplomatic success in recovering hostages?

A plane carrying Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, Marine veteran Paul Whelan and Russian-American radio journalist Alsu Kurmasheva landed at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland after they were freed as part of the swap that also involved Germany, Slovenia, Poland and Norway. 

President Joe Biden pulled off a stunning foreign policy triumph only made possible by the hard work of the Biden State Department and President Biden's years long dedication.  Joe Biden repaired not only NATO but numerous alliances and relationships with countries across the world.  He's really been a tremendous President.

Look...  I know, despite what they may say, Foreign Policy doesn't matter to the American electorate.  And the only thing about foreign relations, which matters to the Corporate Media, is when they get to ride along with the military watching people get killed so the journalist can write their "harrowing" memoir. 

The American people have suffered a severe disservice throughout their lives as the've learned a simple jingoistic concept of foreign relationships.  They've been taught over and over again that the man who struts around and declares they are the awesome Dealmaker with perfect phone calls, must be real good at their job but, intuitively everyone (conservatives included) knows anyone who calls themself "The King" is no true king and anyone who showboats or is a loudmouth braggart is a phony.

But, it's no surprise creepy J.D. Vance played the typical card of Republicans taking credit for things which happen when they aren't even in office,

Ridiculous, insulting, and laughable.  Trump made some weird nonsense claim similar to when he lied about the Brittney Griner exchange.  But, MAGA cultists don't care Trump's false claims and weird loudmouth proclamations are all that matter to them, truth is irrelevant.  Trump is a weak man's version of strength, a dullards version of competent, and a traitor's version of patriotism...  

When asked about Trump's bullshit claims of what he would have done, President Joe Biden smiled and replied, “Why didn’t he do it when he was president?”

This is true leadership, patriotism, and a President who cares about the American people rather than his weird ego and bank accounts.  But, that matters little to Corporate Media, who still have yet to call for Trump's withdraw as the Republican nominee, let alone declare him unfit for any office.

The Corporate Media is already bored with Vice President Kamala Harris ascendency and incoming Presidency, so the Fucking New York Times (FTFNYT) declared the honeymoon over and Trump sensing an opening decided to be as weird and racist as possible at the NABJ interview knowing the Washington Post, NPR, Faux News (of course) and the major media platforms would rush to put his creepy weirdo racist garbage on the front page of their websites and sagely debate the nuances of how this is bad news for the Kamala Harris campaign.

Right now, journalists are covering this historic success but, eagerly awaiting Trump's next racist declaration insulting VP Harris so they can keep him front and center.  But, while the Corporate media is doing what they always do, helping Republicans get elected President Biden and soon-to-be President Harris are helping the American people.

    The Corporate Media believed the coronation of Donald Trump was proceeding well.  During the Triumph of the Will style RNC, the Media covered the disgusting display by ignoring what the Republicans and King of the Bigots Trump himself were actually saying to proclaim Trump spread a message of Unity and was changed, more serene, reflective man.

Of course, all it contained was the grotesque and a parade of vile racists, thieves, and wannabe Nazis spouting the same evil rhetoric and hateful calls over and over again.  But, the Media didn't care because they were busy doing what they always do, softening Republican perfidy and whitewashing Trump's Lies.

And then, yesterday, Fightin’ Joe Biden burst the Media and Republicans balloon.

As you no doubt know, President Joe Biden will not seek re-election in 2024.  Immediately, after this heart-wrenching announcement, Joe Biden fully endorsed Kamala Harris for President.

Joe Biden has been the greatest President of my lifetime; not only for his achievements in Office but, as a human being.  He deserves every accolade and honorific being released on social media and the television right now.  Everyone in Washington DC had a personal story of Joe Biden connecting with them and sharing a piece of sage wisdom or recalling when their father worked in DC.  For stopping Fascism in the Untied States in 2020 I will be forever grateful to President Biden and that alone would have made a successful Presidency.  And his list of accomplishments during his one-term burnish his legacy, while capping that legacy off by passing the torch to President Kamala Harris.

Unfortunately, the vile criminal Republican Party's non-stop attacks on Biden's family, coupled with the very real and very arduous job of President took it's toll.  Fighting the fight against Fascism is a strength draining job.  

Additionally, Corporate Media also made it clear they would shiv him each and every day with multiple Biden is old and Biden should be replaced new stories while completely ignoring the horrific admissions of enslavement, kidnapping, and murder the Republican Nazis instead to undertake via Project 2025.  So Joe Biden took the most courageous step and made the most honorable decision any powerful political can; he is giving up power.

Understand Traitor Trump could never and would never do this, he is fundamentally incapable of such an action, as he views everything through the lens of what is in it for him, and has flatly stated he's going to be a "Dictator Day One", with no intention of every leaving the White House again.  Trump, and his political team as it were, were unprepared for this possibility because Trump himself would never step aside so he could not conceive of Joe Biden willingly stepping aside.

The Republican Party is a fully-fascist organization bent upon the destruction of the United States, the enslavement of women, the murder of millions, and creation of an American Reich built upon the twin pillars of white supremacy and christian terrorism. 

And understand the Republicans are spitting mad and livid right now.  They don't have any way to attack President Kamala Harris except with the most ugly racism grotesque sexist ways.  Remember Traitor Trump has given them license to be their worst selves.  In 2016, against HRC, the rightwing media had spent 25 years attacking her so even worse attacks didn't repulse the average Normie.  While in 2008, the country was reeling from the disastrous war crimes and failures of the Bush/Cheney cabal and open blatant racism against Barack Obama didn't enter the fray.  Of course, Barack Obama's Presidency broke every Republicans brain (including Traitor Trump) so they decided to be as openly hostile and racist as they wanted.  And 9 years ago, when that fat lump of fascist crap descended the staircase he told Republicans to be as vile as they wanted.

The combination of all those factors is what the Republicans and a very receptive and pliant corporate media means Republicans are not going to be able to stop themselves from calling her the DEI President, reviving Birtherism, calling Kamala the descendant of a slave owner, claiming she cackles, or is lazy, or speaks poorly, all manner of typical conservatives racism, bigotry, misogyny and engaging in the most hateful and heated rhetoric despite the media calling for a new era of civility and to tamp down the rhetoric.

(Never Forget calls to "tamp down the rhetoric" are a one-way street with the Media and Rightwingers demanding Democrats stop accurately describing Trump and Project 2025, while Republicans are free to call for the elimination of Democracy itself and engage in stochastic terrorism against Democratic politicians.)

For their part, the little Republican nazi pissants are throwing colossal temper tantrums about how unfair this is; declaring this isn't "democracy" and demanding to be the deciders for who the Democratic nominee for President in 2024 shall be.  I'm certain future Nazi Kapo Stephen Miller will, after his blood pressure lowers from his childish display, craft some lawsuits to go in front of Aileen Cannon or Matthew Kacsmaryk to demand that Harris be removed from the Ballot.

But, small donors have given over $50,000,000 to the Harris Campaign in the last 24 hours, and seemingly everyone (Barack what are you doing!) is lining up and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris.

Joe Biden's Legacy, handing the mantle to Kamala Harris, and the Future of the Nation

 If anyone (in the upper levels of Government) knows heartbreak and the unfairness of life it's Joe Biden.  Much of his political career has been built upon the his personal tragedies and tribulations.

President Joe Biden can look back on 4 years of success and having saved the Nation in 2020.  From defeating Trump in the election, to battling Covid, withdrawing from Afghanistan, the Infrastructure bill, student debt reduction, the price of Insulin, the re-rise of Labor and Unions, a diverse Executive Branch, the re-establishment of NATO and allies across the World to present a combined front against the Rebirth of Authoritarianism.  But, no matter how great any one person is Time wins in the end.  Even all-time greats, usually hailed with the pointedly misapplied label of "Immortals" in sports eventually have to retire.  Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky...

Look Republicans lie about everything.  We can't stop them.  We can be livid that the Corporate Media doesn't hold them to account but, that's because the Corporate Media serves the same Plutocratic Masters the Republicans do.  The Rich and their Media mouthpieces want another Trump Presidency because of what he offers them.  It's an unfair system which elevates a piece of shit Traitor and lifelong criminal like Trump to prominence.  But, the rightwing attacks on Joe Biden about his age, just received a massive piece of corroborating evidence, during the debate.  We ignore the way Joe came off to everyday Americans at our and our Nation's peril.

Joe Biden was right to ignore Social Media trolls in 2020 and he's been right to hold the Corporate Media in contempt for how they cover politics as mouthpieces for Corporate Interests and the Rich.  But, the Corporate Media wants to claim a skin and will not stop writing the Doddering Old Joe Biden stories.  If we don't interrupt that narrative, if the Biden Team can't counteract it before the Convention, pants-shitting vile Traitor Trump won't have to do anything to coast to victory.

There's no point in looking back and saying, 'Oh Joe should have announced he was a one-term President' at some point.  It didn't happen.  We have to look forward as the Democratic Convention is set to arrive in Chicago in a few weeks.

Kamala Harris has to be the Democratic nominee for President in 2024.  For the Good of the Nation Joe Biden has to recognize, that no matter how utterly unfair the situation is, he must step aside and pass the torch to Kamala Harris.

And yes I know the Corporate Media will slag the fuck out of Harris, and on-line bigots (Left and Right) will smear her with just abhorrent racist and misogynist slanders.  But, Harris has to be able to deal with it.  Kamala has to pick a good candidate for Vice-President and We, the People have to elect them.

If we don't then rightwing State-Sanctioned Violence is coming.  Not immediately.  Stephen Miller spoke of the "Staging Grounds" as euphemism for modern day concentration camps.  But, Trump will have Joe and Hunter Biden arrested and imprisioned awaiting trial.  Warrants will be issued for Hillary Clinton, a bunch of false documents about President Obama will be circulated because the Rightwing Media will know these won't unduly alarm most Americans who will shrug and say well if they did crimes then arrest them.  FBI agents who dared testify against Trump and his criminal cabal will be forced to retire and those who dared to show open contempt for Trump will be arrested, and again Americans will shrug and say well we know there's corruption in law enforcement.  And the fascist temperature will ratchet up another notch as "Illegals" will be arrested en masse, and Vice Raids will be conducted for Gay Bars and Transpeople whom any good Faux News listener knows are grooming children.  Chaya Raichik will head the new Task Force to deprogram LGBTQ.  

I could go on but, what's important is staving off this potential Fascist Future which the Heritage Foundation calls the Second American Revolution, but it going to take the bold decision to move on past Joe Biden, a man who has served his country and suffered numerous personal tragedies and unfair setbacks.  It's time for Kamala Harris to step up and for the Democratic Party to unite.

Fighting Joe Biden not so Sleepy State of the Union Rope-a-Dopes Republicans again

The choice between Battlin' Joe Biden and the Toxic Treasonous Predecessor remains absolutely clear and easy.

I'll be darned but President Joe Biden remains a force during these speeches and Major Traitor Greene and every Republican remains a classless piece of shit.

Fighting Joe delivered an absolute knock out State of the Union address.  A feisty engaged speech filled with concrete ideas and promises to fight the Republican forces of Fascism.

Again, Republicans have nothing to offer the American people.  Republicans have no policies, no political platform, no aspirations, no ideas.  Republicans stand for nothing.  Don't ever forget Republicans routinely take credit for Bills they vote against and deny culpability for the bigoted and hateful laws (IVF) they do pass. Mighty Joe Biden called them out on it again!

The Entire Republican Congress are naught but, trolls and hecklers.  They have no self-control and no decency.  It's the natural endpoint of 40 years of incestuous rightwing propaganda; Republicans have been sitting in their rightwing bubbles endlessly farting and then inhaling in each other’s farts. In fact, Republicans have been huffing their own farts for so long they believe their own agitprop about Biden’s age, as the GOP continues to engage in incestuous amplification.

Yet, Joe Biden is perfect at responding to this type of heckling and continues to get the better of them, even though he’s older and slower he still beats them. 

Contrast Joe's witty retorts and extemporaneous ad-libs as he's heckled with Trump's responses to interruptions during his fascist rallies.  When Trump is interrupted his brain ceases functioning, he stops, gets visibly angry, continues to sweat profusely, breathes hard, and yells to get them out of here like your angry Faux News watching Uncle gets when you interrupt their racist harangues. 

It's impressive.  Fighting Joe, the Delaware Dandy, the Son of Scranton, is a canny old fighter just out-boxing them over and over again.  Watching President Biden set-up obvious rhetorical traps and watching Republican howler monkeys simply start shouting and flinging shit at him and "I'll be darned..." if Fighting Joe didn't come out on top again.  And make no mistake, Republicans absolutely want to steal your Social Security, because Republicans hate you, they hate American, and the hate the American Dream of being able to retire and enjoy your golden years.

I wish President Biden could look over his long career and decide to hang'em up but, I know he sees what an existential threat to American Democracy MAGA is, and he can't sit on the sidelines and watch the Toxic Treasonous Predecessor destroy the United States.

Again, the choice is clear, simple, and easy;  either hand the Federal Government over to a gaggle of Nazis or bring Joe back for 4 more years of easily the best President of Joe Biden's long lifetime.

The Corporate Media  is fully invested in making jello-brained Trump President again.  To that end they will do everything in their Power to highlight President Biden's Age.  

They also expect anyone defending him to couch all praise or list of accomplishments with the sad acknowledgement that President Biden is old (but never Traitor Trump).

Listening to NPR yesterday they had a story on Vice President Harris traveling to the Munich Security Conference and how Trump declaration that Russia should attack NATO and Republicans in the Federal Government will sabotage the Nation and alliances in every way and anyway possible is a BIG PROBLEM...

NPR White House correspondent Asma Khalid:  But the reality is, it is going to be difficult for Harris to stand up and say, have faith in the U.S. when even a Democratic president, we are seeing, cannot guarantee additional money for Ukraine because of partisan fights in Congress. The former German ambassador, Ischinger, flatly told me that Europeans are increasingly thinking about a plan B - how to defend themselves if there is indeed a future in which they cannot depend on the U.S. 

And because of the politics at home as we head into an election amidst growing questions about Biden's age, Harris really does have no room for error.

NPR even got a reference to Biden's Age in their story!  Trump's cheap mobster threats are Bad News for Biden and Harris!  Everything must be framed as a problem for President Biden, as the Corporate Media does everything they can to keep Trump as a viable candidate for President even as his brain melts out his asshole of a mouth.

Michael Tomasky in the The New Republic illustrates how the Corporate Media continually covers for Trump's rapid on-set Dementia;

And: What about Donald Trump’s brain? For God’s sakes, he confused E. Jean Carroll with his ex-wife! He makes verbal gaffes all. The. Time. Just last Friday, in a speech before an NRA crowd, he made several. He slurred “subsidies” as “subsies.” He groused that it gets covered if he “said one word a little bit mispronunciation.” He confused Biden with Barack Obama (again). He said the Democrats were going to rename Pennsylvania (?!?). 

He also said: “Nice Saturday afternoon. I could tell you, if I weren’t doing this, where I would have been, I would have been in a very nice location.” 

It was Friday.  

Night. 

Can you imagine if Biden had done that? The Times covered the NRA speech, as did the Post. Neither piece made any mention of these malapropisms.

But, one of the glaring subtexts about the non-stop pundits screeching Joe Biden is Old is the next in line in the Presidential Succession is Kamala Harris.  And conservatives want no part of that...

Harris, of course, invokes funny feelings for Republicans who call her Ho but, are sexually attracted to her in that way all rightwingers view women; as a conquest, arm candy, trophy to display their virility towards other men whose approval and desire they care about much much more.

But, the Corporate Media is led around and follows the narrative set by Rightwing media, again in the The New Republic piece by Michael Tomasky;

So this is where we are. We have one media whose goal is still largely to educate, explore, and explain. And we have another media whose goal is to elect members of a certain political party. The first media will sometimes pursue stories at odds with the priorities of the second media—Donald Trump’s indictments, for example. But it will at other times pursue stories that fit perfectly into the second media’s agenda—Joe Biden’s age.

However, the second media will never, ever, ever pursue stories that might coincide with the first media’s priorities. And this imbalance—the mainstream media will sometimes do the bidding of the right-wing media, but the opposite will never happen—is the precise reason why the right-wing media has become the agenda-setting media in the United States.

Nikki Haley is a disreputable scumbag but, perhaps her most shocking display of perfidy is her willingness to slag Vice President Harris to make all the white bigots, her party is comprised of, happy.  Haley wants all the angry racist white men know that she's a cool girl...  Rightwing Media is still angry President Obama won both his elections and the Racist Whitelash we are still feeling today is being transferred over to Kamala Harris.

Of course, the Corporate Media is more than willing to air Haley's attacks even though she has no chance of winning the Republican nomination because the Media desperately wants a Republican women to be the 1st President.  They yearned for this when Sarah Palin nominated.  So, I expect they are hoping/expecting Trump will nominate a women, even someone as stupid, weird, and vapid as Kristi Noem or as vile and dishonest as Sarah Suckabee Sanders expecting that Trump is going to keel over and one of those little fascist cupcakes will become the 1st Female President.

President Joe Biden is fixing the DADT discharges, while Republicans plan to execute gay people

I knew one Marine who was discharged in 2002 under the Don't Ask Don't Tell (DADT) provision after "compromising" Polaroid(!) photos of them circulated amongst the unit.

Under President Barack Obama DADT, was repealed.  Now, under President Joe Biden the Secretary of Defense and the Military are undertaking the task of undoing the Bad Conduct and Dishonorable Discharges, foisted upon LGBTQ service members.

Once again, I will point out the 2020 and 2024 vote for President Biden also means voting for the progressive cabinet members and progressive ideas advanced under the Executive branch of Government.  Only bad faith actors will continue to claim there is no difference between the parties and only fascists and bigots will vote for Traitor Trump.

Again as far as I know this has received scan attention from the Corporate Media.  Nor have I heard any terminally on-line lefty types giving credit to President Biden for this.  And again this Biden policy change will have a huge impact for those Veterans kicked out under DADT; including but not limited to access GI Bill benefits, healthcare coverage, job options, not to mention pride in their military service. 

Contrary to some of the vitriol directed at President Bill Clinton, Don't Ask Don't Tell was a radical first step in ending open discrimination against men and women in the military and American people in general in the 1990's.  Too anyone who might ask well why didn't they take it all the way can look at the current reactionary with hunt of Trans persons today for a parallel.  In fact if you ever want to know why some policy or some obvious wrong is codified into law can easily find the answer:  Republicans.

There is always some group the Republicans target and vilify.  Currently it is Trans people.  But, homosexuals have always been a target of rightwing vitriol.  If Republicans get back in power in 2025, their bigoted base of domestic terrorists will feel absolutely embolden and will rightly believe they can attack anyone they identify as LGBTQ.  If you think those death camps, Traitor Trump, Steven Miller, and the Project 2025 people have planned for the homeless and "illegal immigrants" won't also be used for Trans people and then outspoken gays, and then anyone else the Right targets you're making a deadly mistake.

Perhaps, you're a white feminist who knows Republican Daddy won't come for you.  But, as the Texas abortion laws demonstrate; make a mistake, or step out of your very tightly defined box, and Republicans will slap you back into your place.

2024 is going to be the year of tightly constrained Rightwing violence.  This election could very well see rightwing domestic terrorist attacks and outright political violence to change the outcome of votes in certain communities.  If Republicans manage to pull off the Coup they tried on January 6th 2021, 2025 is going to see the One Day Dictatorship mimic the 1000 Year Reich.

Vote like your lives depend on it, because they do but, whatever happens be prepared to defend yourself because Republicans are banking on stealing the election and instituting death camps.

President Biden continues to deliver tangible progressive accomplishments and continues to receive scant credit.  The bullshit left (as minuscule as it is) really does their best to discount and undermine President Biden's accomplishments.  It's beyond a reflexive need to Yeah, but these achievements.  I don't know why.

These are tangible real policies which will protect the poor and working class from financial ruin and yet it must always be couched by progressives as not good enough.

Now, the Corporate Media doesn't talk about it because these things don't benefit the rich and the swamp creatures ivo Washington DC.  Certainly, Jamie Dimon was pissed about the overdraft fees and made his opinion clear, i.e. Vote Trump.

But, look at the Stock Market, the surging jobs report, and other economic indicators.  When Trump (or Worst, or Ronnie Raygun) was in office the Stock Market "booming" was heralded by the media with Best Economy Ever headlines and the Republican President was lauded for his keen financial acuity and the Corporate Media couldn't wait to run news stories about how great the economy is; under President Joe Biden it's financial doom and gloom.

The Corporate Media does not want Joe Biden to be President.  It's boring.  They really want Nikki Haley.  They desperately need and want the first female President to be a Republican.  They've been treating her as a moderate and doing everything they can to prop up her campaign because what the rabid rightwing MAGA fascists want is "Their Retribution" and that is senile jello-brain Trump.  

Unfortunately, for the Corporate Media Trump's dementia is accelerating but, not fast enough.  This is why Ron DeSantis is staying in the primary despite being so unlikable.  This is why Nancy Pelosi is running to be the Republican President.

If Joe Biden had given a rambling disheveled, sweat-soaked speech, full of lies which have been repeatedly debunked, where he constantly confused Nancy Pelosi for Nikki Haley, and demanded total immunity, Faux News would spend every single second of their Sunday shows calling for his immediate ouster and the invocation of the 25th Amendment.

But, the Corporate Media will continue to do their best to clean up his insanity and lies as they've always done.  Oh he's misspoken because he's so tired from campaigning.  Trump appears to confuse Haley and Pelosi.  They'll say he's being deliberately provocative.  They'll claim it's the Trump style to make fun of his political rivals.  They'll claim he doesn't really mean he's going to be a Dictator.

All the rightwing liars who lied about 9/11, and the Global War on Terror, are back along with a new generation of rightwing liars and lying again...  In truth they never left.  I recall the conservative media pysop that a Thirty Thousand Strong Army of Hardened Antifa Soldiers were going to descend upon Gettysburg and attack "The Patriots" assembled there for the 4th of July re-enactment in 2020.  As if the Republicans who represent and venerate the Confederacy are the Heroes of Gettysburg.  The god awful Cook County Sheriff's Office disseminated a multi-department wide warning about the supposed Antifa operation and hundreds of Conservative Militias assembled to repulse the attack.

Of course, it goes back even further.  While the Ronnie Raygun administration was conducting their illegal arms trade to equip terrorists abroad (The Iran-Contra Affair) Ronnie and his brutal Secretary of State George P. Schultz fear-mongered that Sandanista's would invade Texas if we didn't support the rightwing death squads, ignore the result of elections, and quash the Marxists.

And, of course, conservatives continue to lie about who incited, who attended, and who was responsible for the Jan6th Coup Attempt (100% Republicans).

Now, I like President Biden.  I thought no matter what his Presidency shaped up to be, the mere fact he defeated Traitor Trump constituted a successful time in Office.  But, much to my surprise Joe Biden has been as progressive as any President in American history besides those who go by three initials.

That's why I can not imagine the fvcking ballistic fallout if a Democratic President denigrated Prime Minister Netanyahu and praised Hezbollah in the wake of the Hamas militant butchery the way Traitor Trump did.  I can not imagine the apocalyptic fury which would have descended on Biden; we're talking 24/7 Corporate Media coverage of the comments with demands the 25th Amendment to be invoked, hell the House Republicans might have been able to overcome their inherent dysfunction to elect a Speaker of the House for the sole purpose of calling for Immediate Impeachment.

Congresswoman Rashiba Tlaib has been widely denounced across the Nation for her correct analysis of the Israel/Palestine situation.  It highlights this incredible double-standard which afflicts the Corporate Media and the political climate in the United States (which of course impacts the response and coverage of the Russia invasion of Ukraine and the unconscionable Israeli retribution in Gaza).  Understand the warmongers are rapacious and never satisfied.  Certainly, the rightwing across the globe are irritated by Ukraine's defiance of Russia but, the War pornographers always salivate over the collateral damage inflicted in the Middle East.

So, is President Biden doing the right thing in the response to the violence in Palestine/Israel?  I don't know.  But, he has earned my trust with the policies he's enacted thus far.  He's earned my trust with the people he has surrounded himself in the Executive Cabinet.  He's earned my trust in handling the psychotic criminal Congress he's dealing with.  He's earned my trust with the way he's allowed Trump to flail and vent and incriminate himself further and further. 

Joe Biden ends the Drone program and the phony leftists (Glenn Greenwald et al) who screamed DroneZ were the worst war crime in recorded human history were silent then and continue to remain silent today.

Joe Biden pulled the US out of Afghanistan after 20 fucking years and not only did he not get any credit from anyone, the Corporate Media proclaimed this the worst military decision in United States history.  House Republicans were set upon hearings over this worst military failure to proclaim Afghanistan was all Joe Biden's fault but, they decided to punch each other in the dicks to shut down the Government instead.

Joe Biden works to cancel as much student debt as possible, which the Supremacist Court fights over and over to stop, and Biden catches flak from left for not doing it the right way and the right for doing it all.  Then he goes around the blocks erected by Sammy di Puzzi Alito and Clarence For Sale Thomas and still received little to no credit.

Joe Biden takes on Big Pharma price gouging of old people and nobody in the Corporate Media says anything because one of the last big advertisers on old people news are Pharmaceutical commercials.

The Supremacist Court guts the Clean Water Act protection for marshlands and waterways by claiming the Originalist reading of the Constitution Navigable Waters means Corporations are free to piss and dump whatever they want and the Corporate Media proclaims Biden's EPA cuts protection for waterways.

Meanwhile, Trump praises Hezbollah (confusing them with Hamas) because Trump is raging idiot while Biden declares support for Israel's 9/11 and collective shrug.  

Traitor Trump blubbers utter drivel these days, not that his sentence structure was ever coherent during his Presidency, but his babbling is chock full of farcical nonsense, grievances against President Barack Obama, praise for dictators, confusion over what Bush was President, attacks on witnesses and prosecutors and his usual collection of general gibberish.  It used to be Republican malapropisms were massaged by the Corporate Media who cleaned-up and sanitized the shit flowing from Republicans mouths.  It was thought as long as the Republican wasn't a diaper shitting madman he could be successfully carried along but, with Trump the Corporate Media couldn't make any of it make sense so the they decided they no longer cared and instead of trying to make Republican Clowns into Statesmen, they would enjoy the Circus.

It's an unfair system, the Media wants Trump back in office and they will continue to hold Joe Biden to an impossible standard while holding Trump and any Republican to no standards at all.

Larry Bird, paid sick days and Work not loving you back

The stories and myths surrounding Larry Bird are legendary, if you'll forgive the obvious pun.  In Bird Watching, Larry Legend recounted to Jackie MacMullen a story of his father, who by all accounts was not an agreeable man and who suffered personal demons which lead him to take his own life in 1975.  Bird's father worked construction, and the story goes, broke his ankle on a Friday and stuffed his swollen and discolored foot back into his boot on Monday to go to work.

Now, as a general rule we are taught to laud and nod approvingly about Joe Bird's dedication and work ethic.  The so-called Virtue of Hard Work.  And Bird in the 1980's played through numerous injuries which was an indication of his toughness and determination.  Bird also hurt his back putting in a driveway at his mom's house in Indiana.  Now... Bird later in life admitted that if he had won another title in the 1980's he would have retired probably in 1988.  Besides Bird, his Hall of Fame teammate Kevin McHale broke a bone in his foot during their 1987 Season and played the rest of the year because this was Celtics of the 1980's were a dynasty and the only thing which kept them from winning the Finals in 1987 were the Showtime Lakers.

Sticking with basketball, Michael Jordan famously played the "Flu Game" during the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz.  Rumors have always swirled that it was either a sabotaged Pizza from Utah Jazz fans or Jordan was hungover (which would have been difficult but, not impossible considering the strict liquor laws in Utah).  But, after the game bosses across the country were trying to shame workers/employees by pointing out Jordan wasn't calling in sick to work.  Of course, Jordan was being paid $30 Million to play for the Bulls that year (and probably made 10x that from his lucrative endorsements). 

I've had to come to grips with using my accrued time-off.  For the last 10 years Pre-Covid, I haven't taken many days off.  Fortunately, and with a little diligence and preventative care, I've avoided Covid these last 3 years.  But, before Covid it was still a badge of honor for many to come into work sick, even if the flu bug and the fluids you spewed in your work environment infected others.  Well... things are different now.

Paid Sick Days are a necessary and important part of any worker's lives and job.  But, companies chafe at giving them.  And that brings us to Dark Brandon getting it done again.  And once again don't expect the Corporate Media to cover this because the Corporate Media's job is to make Republicans palatable no matter what they do or whom they hurt and to diligently not mention anything which shows a Democratic President winning.  So, while Republicans members of Congress scream 'Bitch' at each other on the floor of the Capitol, President Biden and his diligent staff calmly and methodically gained a big win for Railroad workers,

Meanwhile, what do Republicans have to offer working Americans?  Nothing, other than Oklahoma stumblebum MarkWayne Mullin pretending he's a tough guy and challenging a Teamster leader You Wanna Go? while lying during a Senate hearing.  Of course, Mullin famously said this year he's "not interested in reality, he's asking the questions!"

Your work won't love you back and Republicans hate you.  Over the past few years Republicans, even ones who took millions in PPP loans from the Government and didn't have to pay back the money, are pissed that President Biden is forgiving student loans and aiding American workers in exerting their power to organize and gain benefits owed to them.  This infuriates Republican who hate the American Dream and want Americans re-shackled into Wage Slavery and perpetual Corporate Bondage.

Republicans long ago, agreed to an alliance with Big Business to undercut Americans at every turn.   American capitalists successfully convinced the Republican Party that they would be better served by the ability for capital to seek employment wherever it was convenient and cheaper.  The Pro-Labor platform of Young Republicans under Dwight D. Eisenhower was replaced with the off-shoring of jobs and the importing of cheaper labor.  Ronnie Raygun heard this clarion call.  Raygun hated powerful worker unions as far back as when he was Governor of California when Dolores Huerta (and Cesar Chavez) put up a struggle against the rapacious grape growers.

As President Reagan (besides war crimes) famously destroyed Unions and began the Republican assault on Worker's lives by shipping manufacturing and heavy industry off-shore, as Big Business instructed him to do so.  Raygun of course also granted amnesty to undocumented people in America, something which modern Republican orthodoxy claims is The Great Replacement Conspiracy and which Republicans have brain-washed their rightwing domestic terrorists to massacre when possible.

Republicans have long sought to undermine the American worker and reduce the standard of living, and quality of life in America for 90% of society who they deem to lazy and too well-compensated.  Republicans want you hungry and desperate ready to accept any job at any pay with no benefits and no social security or medicare to look forward to;  Republicans want you working by 10 and dead by 65.

President Biden also tastefully handled the pissy Republicans griping about him laying out their stated plans to swindle America out of her Social Security.  As well as, pointing out "the facts" about who blew up the debt and deficit when Trump and his Republican allies in Congress, added $8 Trillion in just 4 years.  It was absolutely masterful when President Biden responded to the shouts from Major Traitor Greene and other deplorable Republicans with, "So folks, as we all apparently agree, Social Security and Medicare is off the books now, right?”

But, this is what happens when a party spends all its' time huffing each others farts and listening to the incestuous rightwing propaganda bubble.  You end up believing your own lies.

It was a good performance by President Biden who has done a very good job these past two years.

According to a new book, President Biden correctly labeled Rupert Murdoch and Fox, "one of the most destructive forces in the United States."  President Biden also correctly called Putin a War Criminal.  But, despite Joe's comments being 100% demonstrably true and factual the President garnered pushback from Putin's Poodles in the GOP and rightwing internet. 

One of the rhetorical tools Republicans have used for years is to claim President Joe Biden is a gaffe-machine.  The GQP found willing accomplices in the Corporate Media which was always at the ready to excoriate Biden for his misspeaks.

Well, now that Vladimir Putin's forces have committed documented War Crimes in Bucha, Republicans have fully descended into the QAnon abyss of lies.  Republicans are furious!  No not with the War Crimes!  But, that Putin's military invasion should be going so badly and making Republicans look so bad for defending and supporting a KGB Colonel for so long! 

Petulant Republican children Matt Gaetz and Major Traitor Greene s are so mad at Putin, that they've taken to yelling at US SecDef Lloyd Austin for President Biden's successful rallying NATO and providing Ukraine weapons and support to defeat Russian forces.

Obviously, the Republicans think bombarding the American people with non-stop rightwing agitprop and falsehoods about Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson or Pete Buttigieg or President Biden is a winning strategy and maybe it is... because they goal is to get Americans to believe the lies Republicans tell about Democrats and disbelieve the truth told about Republicans.  Conservatives listen to these Trump rallies which are 100% falsehoods and cheer. 

But, once you've begun to accuse your political adversaries of being child rapists (and it's still unbelievably galling the Party of child abusers Donald Trump and Dennis Hastert and Mark Foley accuses the Democrats) then there's really no backtracking.  There's no way the Republicans can work with Democrats after this.  And since 9/11 this is entirely what we have seen from the Republicans.  Increasing inflammatory rhetoric and a ratcheting up of the wild accusations.  So that now the Republican Party is a wholly fascist organization dedicated to destroying the Rule of Law in the United States and ensconcing a One Party Ethno-Nationalist White Supremacist Country.  The 2022 and especially 2024 elections are going to see a Manichaeist Rule or Ruin Republican Party.

Would you support the Obama act of raising the federal minimum wage? 

Congressman Ross - No. [...] I think it would do more harm to our economy than anything. You work at Arby’s, the cost of products, the cost of services are going to go up. [...] If we are going to make it a living wage, who’s going to pay for it? Who’s going to pay for it?  

During the give and take, Ross was then asked,

I want to know, would you take a walk in my shoes? Lay your tie and your suit down, just for a day, 24 hours, and take a walk in my shoes. The people that I work with, we’re keeping the economy floating and going in the cycle. But the people that hire, they’re just paying money, just throwing money. But I’m actually working every day. So why wouldn’t you support it?

Congressman Ross - Because it’s not right. Economically, it’s not right. It does more harm to our economy.

Republicans are elected and compensated handsomely to crush Labor, abolish Unions and destroy the Social Safety Net. When Ross says "it's not right economically" he means it's not right for Job Creators.

The "jobs" metric and Job Creator hosannas are a massively dishonest way of discussing the American Economy until one understands the Prism in which Republicans view the Economy and the American Worker. The American Worker is viewed as an unnecessarily expensive cost of business.

A Job Creator could have set aside $20 per hour in wages to hire workers. So, he could create 1 job at his company at $20/hr or 2 jobs at $10/hr. But, now imagine if he had the "freedom" to pay less than the minimum wage? Why he could create 5 blessed jobs at $4/hr! And he could create an Infinite number of jobs if he was able to pay $0/hr. The Ultimate Job Creator!

Of course, what I am describing is Slavery. But, that is precisely what the Republican Party has been tasked by their Plutocratic Overlords with recreating; the Ideal America, one with massive fortunes built upon thousands of years of free labor.

At the 2013 CPAC (Conservative Punk Ass Chickenhawks) a spokesman for the Frederick Douglass Republicans, K. Carl Smith, held a panel which allowed Right-Wingers to engage in their favorite pastime of bad faith denials of their rampant racism.

While Smith spoke, conservative Scott Terry, flanked by his compatriot Matthew Heimbach festooned in a Confederate-flag T-Shirt, rose to complain the Republican Party was alienating, "young Southern white males" and minorities were "systematically disenfranchising” him and whites. Smith tried to interject and when Smith spoke of Frederick Douglass forgiving his former slave masters Terry scoffed, "For giving him shelter? And food?"

Mighty Joe Biden's observation from the last Presidential election still holds true, the Republican Party's Grand Design is to "to put y'all back in chains."
