I am unsurprised at the level of utter disdain, disrespect, and dishonor DonOld Traitor Trump and EloNazi Musk have for American Veterans. From shitting on Medal of Honor recipients, belittling Americans wounded and killed under his tenure as President, to disrespecting Arlington National Cemetery. There has been solid reporting on the DOGE Bags simply removing information from the unclassified DoD webpages about women and minorities in the history of the United States Military. Including the slap in the face, of adding "DEI Medal" to the webpage address of Medal of Honor recipient Charles Calvin Rogers, simply because he was a black man.
But, DOGE wasn't content and now they've simply removed information about Ira Hayes, a Hero pictured in the most iconic picture from World War 2. That its' removal nearly coincides with the 80th anniversary of the photo the War Department's capitalization via Nationwide publicity tours to Win the War is just the cherry on-top the shit DOGE cake.
White people hate America. This level of repeated insults, continued disrespect, and absolute racist treatment of a man who survived one of the worst battles in the Pacific only to fall victim to PTSD and die a sad lonely death just 10 years later is. I can not adequately convey how livid that 70 years after his death a cadre of cowards, bigots, Incels, grotesqueries, and traitors could saunter into power and feel empowered to simply erase him from official records.
Certainly, the Trump administration spokes liars responded with some mealy-mouthed bullshit about how this was inadvertent accidental purge of Ira Hayes and the Flag Raising over Mt. Surabachi but, it's part of Donald Trumps promise to rid the US Military of the dreaded DEI. This is of course designed to give over to his ardent white racist supporters the cover to say Nuh-Uh! Trump didn't disrespect Ira Hayes! DEI gotta go!
The address for the article on Hayes, for example, now includes “deipima-indian.” The URL for an article about combat medic Charles Norman Shay of the Penobscot tribe, who survived the D-Day landings in 1944, now reads “deinative-american-fought-with-distinction-in-world-war-ii-and-korea.”
DEI has been one of the most successful branding campaigns conceived and implemented by Republicans. Of course, Christopher Rufo's bullshit everything is DEI would not have worked without the complicit cooperation of the Corporate Media.
Supposedly, J.D. Vance is a Marine. I'd like to ask him if he feels his service was more honorable than Ira Hayes' because Vance is a white man. I wonder if Just Despicable Vance had the courage to tell his Senior Drill Instructor at Parris Island that Ira Hayes was no hero?
And that DonOld Traitor Trump would be able to get away with proclaiming how much he loves our troops and white people would fall all over themselves to worship him, while he continually denigrates and shits on men and women far braver than he could ever be.

DOGE Incels also shit on Jackie Robinson whom they also labeled “DEI” which of course illustrates Republicans were rooting for the racists and bigots in the Chadwick Boseman led biopic.

Of course Vance would be sure his service sitting behind a desk as a journalist ranks higher in sheer courage than some non-white guy who actually got shot at.
Unfortunately we all know the compliant and complicit Corporate Media would do something so untoward as to point out Trump’s continued shoddy treatment of Veterans and Vance’s own abandonment of a fellow Marine (and a legendary one at that) to appease bigots.
