Elon's deliberate Nazi salutes and Trumps paper terrorism

Don't believe your Eyes

  Are more than anything a signal. A blaring Call to Arms.  The Proud Boys heard it.  The Crypto Nazis on X heard it.  Only the Corporate Media and the Republican Party did not hear it.  Here's what MAGA Elise Stefanik had to say in defense of South African Apartheid Nazi Elon Musk;

“No, Elon Musk did not do those salutes. I was not at the rally, but I can tell you I’ve been at many rallies with Elon Musk, who loves to cheer when President Trump says we need to send our U.S. space program to Mars. Elon Musk is a visionary. I’m looking forward to his work in DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency, and I look forward to seeing how we can be more efficient and effective. But that is simply not the case, and to say so is– the American people are smart. They see through it. They support Elon Musk."

He did not do those salutes...  Fortunately,  Senator Chris Murphy wasn't just going to accept Stefanik's lies and pointed out how across Musk's X American Nazis saw his salutes.  But, the Republicans have known for a long time they can simply lie with zero repercussions from the Media and their supporters not only expect it but, yearn to be lied to.  Hence Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL released a statement claiming Musk didn't throw Nazi Salutes calling it instead an "awkward gesture"

And understand that's the first part of this lie as it ignores the fact Musk did it twice back-to-back, while on-line Republicans put any number of disingenuous side-by-side still images of President Obama or HRC waving and claiming it's the same thing as Musk's vile video at a Presidential inauguration flashing Nazi bonafides.

But, while it's been "funny" to claim Elon Musk is the real President Trump has been busy blasting the Nation with his Executive Orders in a early blitz to overwhelm and cow attempts to fight back against Republican's vile agenda of oppression, intolerance, and despoliation of the Nation.  It's the same Paper Terrorism tactic Trump and his many disreputable lawyers use to overawe and intimidate anyone who sued him.

While some of Trump's EOs are prima facia unlawful and illegal, the time when We, the People could rest assured that the Constitution, the concept of a Nation of Laws, would hold the line and stop the rapacious Republicans is long past.  Trump pardoned all the rightwing domestic terrorists who successfully stopped the peaceful transfer of power on Jan6th and all of those traitors and criminals are looking for revenge.  Of course, Trump isn't the first Republican to reward his criminal thugs.  In May of 2024, Texas asshole Greg Abbott pardoned Daniel Perry who had planned and broadcast his intention to kill protestors in 2020 and, in fact, did so.  Trump will, most likely, keep them in his back pocket as a subtle threat but, it would be a foolish mistake to believe the Rightwing Domestic Terrorists who have committed violence in the past will not do so again... and soon...

Former La Habra Police Department Chief Alan Hostetter, a prominent COVID-19 restrictions critic and activist, was released Tuesday from federal prison along with hundreds of other defendants convicted in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol following President Donald Trump’s pardons.

Hostetter, who has ties to San Clemente and last resided in Poolville, Texas, was released between midnight and 12:30 a.m. and picked up from the federal prison in Oakdale, Louisiana, his attorney Karren Kenney said.  According to Kenney, Hostetter said it was not the last time the public would hear from him and that he added, “We are just getting started.”

Hostetter was convicted in July 2023 in a non-jury bench trial before U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth, who ruled he was guilty of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of an official proceeding, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon and disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon, according to court records.

America has a long history of coddling and encouraging white people to commit violence with the tacit and oft times explicit understanding they will not be punished by the Government; Trump has just demonstrated this.  MAGA has promised you violence and that's what we're going to get.  Be prepared
