Today, Trump and the Republicans declare Victory over the United States of America. Next, comes the Violence

    This morning I took down the USA flag outside my home, the Republicans have raised the standard of Arch-Traitors over the Nation, the country is no longer governed by the US Constitution but by a cadre of criminals and their co-conspirators.

I am sure you know the story in 1974, Republicans led by Barry Goldwater told Nixon it was over and he had to resign or face an impeachment procedure he was going to lose.  From that point on Republicans vowed never to put the good of the Nation or the America people before the Party ever again.

Today, after 50 years of subverting the Government from within and attacking every norm, guardrail, code, or law which may have inhibited them the Republicans of the Neo-Confederacy declares victory over the United States of America as Traitor Trump reclaims the Presidency.  The evidence we are no longer a Nation of Laws but of the whims of a gaggle of grifters, thieves, white supremacists, and worse is evident by President Biden having to issue a raft of preemptive pardons, in the face of the certain threat Trump would have any who tried to curb his criminality punished.

A lot of what comes next is going to depend on whether or not members of the Government, military forces, and the massive law enforcement apparatus in America will simply follow orders.  I have thin hope they will not.  The fact U.S. Customs & Borders launched a raid in Bakersfield, California last week prior to Trump taking office offers a lot of what is likely to follow.

As we enter Day 1 of Fascist America you know how this is going to go;  Trump will issue some draconic orders attacking the weakest and most maligned people in the Nation.  To wit: Transgender persons are already targeted by Trump's executive order.  Trump and his Department of Homeland Security claimed they were going to send 200 ICE Agents into Chicago to round-up migrants.  I firmly believe Trump and Stephen Miller have dreams of Concentration Camps for migrants (and LGBTQ and homeless persons) but, whatever happens Trump will take all credit, pass blame and responsibility, and declare America Great Again.

Of course, to White People this is all theater, 

"We missed out on the inauguration so I want to at least see the guy if I drove out here," said Thomas Zacher, 23, who travelled from Wisconsin for the rally.  Zacher said he voted for Trump mainly due to the economy, with inflation surging at points in the last four years. He also pointed to Trump's charisma.  "His charisma, his energy," he said. "To be honest if it wasn't for Trump, I think politics is kind of in the back seat of a lot of people's brains."

"We need somebody who hasn't been in the political world and been corrupted by politics for so long," said Kim Matthews, 50, who travelled from Kentucky. "He hasn't been in lifelong politics, he is a businessman," she said.  "And I think the government is a business."

Christina Overby, a 53-year-old office worker, was eager for Trump to get to work.  "He's got to get us back on track," she said."I come from a working-class family, and I really don't want folks coming in here from other countries that are not supposed to be here and taking these opportunities away from people like my family," she said.  Overby called for Trump to "get the military" to deport people.

What I think a lot of NPR listeners and terminally on-line leftists were unwilling or unable to believe going in 2024 and certainly in 2016 is how primed White Men and Women, the Corporate Media and American business world was to ally with and kow-tow to Trump and MAGA Nazism.

But, look at quickly these business jettisoned their "DEI" and inclusivity programs.  Corporate Media, of course, has been stealth fully allied with the Republican Party since at least Ronnie Raygun's Regime, so simply adapting and adopting MAGA principles was not a big leap for them, but the Musk Zuck Bezos Billionaires Media threw off all pretensions of neutrality and the promise of democratizing the internet and news reporting and rushed to embrace every rightwing tenet and promote every piece of rightwing agitprop.

What Republicans have planned for the Nation and its' peoples, of course, only works if Americans concede or go along willingly.  I don't expect you to bravely stand up to the combined overwhelming might of the Media and Republican Government.  But, always be aware of the Nation you live in, one in which white people yearn to have a whole host of people rounded-up and eliminated.  And one in which The Law, is not the Platonic Shield defending you from the rapacious Republican Party who seek not only to destroy the Nation physically, but to undo and rewrite it's very foundational core tenets and create from the ground-up a White Supremacist Fascist Fundamentalist Nation, built upon the twin pillars of oppression and intolerance, dedicated to the final destruction of the American Dream while replacing it with Nightmare of MAGA.
