Bored of War and Peace 15: Draft Dodging Donnie claims he'd have won Vietnam War as Iran War reaches 60 days

“Venezuela, I took it over in 45 minutes. It was basically 45 minutes — by the way, a very strong military country and we took it over in a day — let's be nice — but we basically took it over in 45 minutes."- So... why is Heroic Donnie charging one of "his" warfighters G.K. Van Dyke for using classified intelligence to make a winning bet on removing Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro on Polymarket? After all that's what Traitor trump does everyday as he uses the Federal Government to enrich himself, his family, and his co-conspirators.

    Donald Traitor trump is a deranged lunatic and his MAGA cult are reaching the levels of delusion, psychosis, and collective narcissism that they have no problem ascribing miraculous and fantastical to his semi-divine touch.

For example, here is Addison McDowell, a smooth-bodied, wide-waisted, expansive derrière Republican CongressMan whose clearly never done a day's labor, other than to repeat the lies whenever called upon to appear in the media, decked out in the same clothes as Dear Leader Donnie,

Childish nonsense.  Pure fantasy.  Utterly and frighteningly delusional.  The kind of slavish devotion to an erstwhile God-King which the Founding Fathers viewed as anathema to this whole Nation.  And sadly, there is no shortage of these worthless drones, literally wearing the same clothes as their Dear Leader.  But, did you expect anything other than cult-like devotion from a snake handling from North Carolina like Addison McDowell?  (The McDowell family like bloated fat leeches have attached themselves to the Treasonous trump family.)

But, good ole Addy McDowell is in Congress and today marks 60 days since Traitor trump decided to embarrass the Nation and the American People by listening to Bloody Bibi Netanyahu and agree to a joint War against Iran.

Contrary to the last 3 Presidents who all rightly ignored the Zionist calls for an unprovoked War, trump and his cabal proudly boast about their involvement.  And in keeping with their non-stop blatant bad faith, Republicans continue with the rhetoric of trump didn't start any wars he's finishing them!

And, unfortunately, as we have seen over and over again, these kinds of faux masculine jingoistic soundbites appeal to the average Republican Voter, who agrees that trump didn't start the Iran War and we've already won anyway...

Which leads us back to the the War Powers Act of 1973, which dictates after 60 days of emergency military operations the President must either request Congressional approval for continued warfare or announce a withdrawal to be accomplished within another 30 days. This is why Traitor trump has been so frantic to get a "deal" with Iran so he can Declare Victory and award himself a Triumph and get back to the needed Fascist reforms at home, like we labelling ICE into NICE, and stealing $400 million dollars from the American people for his so-called "ballroom".

But, I don't think there is anyway Mike Johnson or John Thune let an Iran War resolution vote come to the floor of the House or Senate because they don't want their squishy Republicans to be put on record voting for War yet again.  It would  ruin their Anti-War Rhetoric.

"When it's over, and it will end, when it's over— You know, they want it to be over immediately," Trump said to CNBC about his illegal Iran War. "And I just looked at a little chart, World War I, four years and three months, World War II, six years, Korean War, three years, Vietnam, 19 years, Iraq, eight years. I'm five months, okay? Five months."  

"I would have won Vietnam very quickly," he rambled on. "I would have— If I were president, I would have won Iraq in the same amount of time that we won, because essentially, we've won here, okay? I mean, people can play games."

I sincerely hope all the Vietnam War Veterans who have surrendered their honor and voted for trump 3 times are physically and emotionally devastated by this.  Likewise, I hope the same for all the Iraq and Afghan Veterans too.

Service members and Veterans have always been nothing more than a rhetorical cudgel for Republicans to use to Bash the Left and to help advance the rightwing agenda of murder, intolerance, bigotry, and adulation of the rich.  And with the compliant and complicit corporate media defending them, Republicans have always known thy can be lauded for saying they "support the troops" whilst their every action undercuts and undermines them.

Draft-Dodging Donnie is a dignity wraith.  His one redeeming feature is how he utterly and thoroughly insults, debases, and eventually betrays his most ardent and loyal supporters.  Although yes sadly, I know he pardoned his paramilitary terrorist army of Jan6th en masse, although some of those child raping traitors are back behind bars.

Now, as per their official policy of Fuck Veterans, Republicans and the Department of War have reclassified injuries sustained during the past 59 days,  

On the day the ceasefire between the Trump administration and Iran took effect, the tally of U.S. dead and wounded was 385. Despite a pause in hostilities, the number had slowly risen to 428 on Monday, according to Pentagon statistics. Yet on Tuesday, the number of wounded-in-action troops declined by 15 troops without public comment from the War Department, dropping the total to 413. The count held steady on Wednesday, except for one public War Department tally that put the “grand total” of wounded and dead at 411.

Besides the giant lie of the Iran War having been "won" as Donnie Don't Care declares Victory daily, the Pentagon is lying about Iranian attacks on bases and soldiers in theater as well.  Certainly, future Republican officials will enjoy taking away healthcare and service for future Iran "War" Veterans in the same way the current and past Republicans have enjoyed slashing Veterans care.

So, good luck to anyone serving right now.  Traitor trump doesn't give a shit about you.  Whiskey Pete Haguseth doesn't give a shit about you.  Squeaker of the House Porno Mike Johnson doesn't give a shit about you.  And I very much doubt Johnson is going to put a war resolutions vote today or tomorrow, instead Republicans will continue to claim the War is Won.  Trump is a Peacemaker.  The Strait of Hormuz is Open and even if it isn't we don't need it.  Gas is cheap!  America is beloved and respected around the world like never before and all the other Negging and Gas-Lighting they've adopted as their official policy to utterly destroy the United States of America and replace it with a simulacrum of a Democratic Republic modeled on the CSA and powered by fascist principles, American fundamentalism, and white power.
