        There is a lot of reporting coming out about the recruits for ICE and Department of Homeland Security being unable to pass physical fitness tests and even open-book final 6 week exams on Immigration law and statutes.

More than a third [of ICE recruits] have failed so far, four officials told me, impeding the agency’s plan to hire, train, and deploy 10,000 deportation officers by January. To pass, recruits must do 15 push-ups and 32 sit-ups, and run 1.5 miles in 14 minutes.

    All those years of undercutting the Department of Education, to appeal to southern white racists, has come back to bite the Republicans in their efforts to recruit for domestic paramilitary.  Nutritional assistance and a strong K-12 education was seen by the Government as strategic necessity in light of the numerous WW2 recruits found to be too malnourished and uneducated to be an effective fighting force.

    But, being physically unfit isn't really the worst disqualification for Trump's Secret Police.  The rush to flood the United States with a Trumpstapho, an unaccountable paramilitary terrorist organization, is being answered by white domestic terrorist militia members who because they are white are being let through the process without proper background investigations;

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed new recruits into its training program before they have completed the agency’s vetting process, an unusual sequence of events as it rushes to hire federal immigration officers to carry out President Donald Trump’s mass deportation policy, a current and two former Homeland Security Department officials told NBC News. 

ICE officials only later discovered that some of the recruits failed drug testing, have disqualifying criminal backgrounds or don’t meet the physical or academic requirements to serve, the sources said.

    Of course, the ultimate test every member of ICE and the Trump Department of Homeland Security have failed is the moral one.  This is were we see the vaunted Americans are taught to disobey unlawful orders and swear an Oath to the Constitution is so much nonsense and was only as good as those who earnestly wanted to follow it; all it took was a life-long criminal and scam artist to show Traditions, guardrails, The Law itself were paper tigers. 

    And make no mistake, ICE and the Department of Homeland Security is the Standing Army the Founding Fathers warned the Nation about, and it's acting as an unaccountable domestic terrorist organization unconcerned about Constitutional prohibitions and increasingly unconstrained by laws and court orders.

    Every news story highlighting brutal, inhumane, or illegal Kavanaugh Stops by ICE agents is met with a flood of cheering white people, revealing in the pain and suffering, unconstitutional antics, and smugly chiding woke liberals or whomever all while incanting They Broke the Law.  Republicans have successfully brainwashed several generations of whites to give up Constitutional Rights all on the say so of child rapist President, and by repeating their daily lies of targeting violent criminals and drug-dealers.

    Whites do not believe their will ever be a reckoning after this and who knows, maybe they are correct.  Republicans certainly seem okay with wrecking the Federal Government, Squeaker Mike scat play Johnson has abdicated his role, and effectively disbanded the House of Representatives, with Traitor Trump laughingly declaring, "I'm the Speaker and the President now!"

Ceding so much power and undermining the system of checks and balances, dismantling so many levels of constraint, and tearing up all traditions and norms of the Federal Government points directly to a Trump MAGA Authoritarian Tyranny.

Famously, in 1941 Dorothy Thompson wrote an essay for Harper's Magazine, titled Who Goes Nazi?  In the essay Thomspon outlays fictional characters like young Mr. D and Mr. K and points out very few people are natural Nazis but, come from various disappointments, intellectual positions, and varying class backgrounds.

So, while it might be nice to dismiss ICE and Department of Homeland Security as delving the dregs of racist, bigoted white society those going ICE are coming from all strata of American society.  We have a serious fascist problem in the Nation and ominous signs Trump and MAGA do not intend for their to be free and fair elections anytime soon, and throughout history fascists never cede power willingl especially when they have a zealous domestic army willing to use illegal violence against dissent and with tacit and explicit protections from the State for their unlawful actions;

"To all ICE officers, you have federal immunity in the conduct of your duties, and anybody who lays a hand on you, or tries to stop you, or tries to obstruct you is committing a felony,” he said. “You have immunity to perform your duties and no one– no city official, no state official, no illegal alien, no leftist agitator or domestic insurrectionist– can prevent you from fulfilling your legal obligations and duties.” - Stephen Miller
