Lovie Smith is a Good NFL Head Coach

The Bears defeated the Miami Dolphins 16-0 to improve to 7-3 this season. Which brings up the question of Lovie Smith's coaching ability. Lovie is not liked very much in Chicago. I tend to get exasperated at some of his coaching habits which seem to be mistakes to me. His challenge technique is poor and his record in them supports that conclusion. Additionally, he's lost several games (including one playoff game and nearly another) by his seeming inability to adjust his defensive schemes. But!!!

But, the Bears are in first place this year after 10 games and his record overall is very good. And during his tenure the Bears made their second Super Bowl appearance and, although they lost, it was to the favored Indianapolis Colts. Lovie has never lost a clubhouse or had his players turn on him.

Brian Urlacher, who predates Lovie Smith and is the best Bears player of the last 10 years and a borderline Hall of Famer, when asked about the negative coverage of Lovie by Marshall Faulk after the win said, "I don't understand it, man. I love Coach Smith. I think the problem is the media doesn't like him. He doesn't tell them what they want to hear. He doesn't sell players out on the field to the media."

Urlacher may be correct about the Media's dislike for Lovie, several 670 The Score radio personalities do not hide their desire for Lovie to be fired. And many sports fans in Chicago call up The Score and complain, 'Lovie isn't fired up on the sideline', that Lovie doesn't have 'The Fire and The Passion' to coach. While a rabid sideline demeanor is not a quality of a good coach, playoff appearances and victories are a good barometer. Following the Super Bowl Loss the Bears have failed to make the playoffs in last 3 seasons. So, during this last offseason the Bears picked up Julius Peppers, the best defensive end the team has had since Richard Dent, and Chester Taylor to guard against the possibility that Matt Forte is an average running back. The Bears are not blessed with unbelievable talent.

And that brings up the best argument for Lovie's status as good NFL coach. During his tenure Jerry Angelo has been a failure in talent evaluation and drafting. And has routinely left the Bears with deficiencies at key positions.

Jerry Angelo has a terrible record at drafting in the first round. Angelo has neglected to draft an offensive lineman in the early rounds since his failure with Marc Columbo and has not taken an offensive player of significance outside the aforementioned Matt Forte. The Bears best offensive player QB Jay Cutler was acquired via an expensive trade.

What Angelo has succeed in is drafting pro-bowl caliber defensive players, with Lance Briggs being a longshot Hall of Famer, and the gamble on Devin Hester.

Devin Hester is the best punt/kick returner to ever step onto a pro football field. His presence alone has been worth 3-4 wins a year since 2006.

And here is the problem, Lovie Smith has been saddled with a preponderance of average to below average players (by NFL standards) and has succeeded in squeezing the most out of those players and Jerry Angelo is very good at seeing raw, unrefined talent but fails at the task of selecting bona fide #1s. And Hester's play has covered up the egregious errors by Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo.

Which leaves the Bears were they have been for the past 3 seasons. Around the middle of the league. But, this season's not over and as the wins pile up, it's becoming harder and harder to justify the hatred of Lovie Smith who is a good NFL Coach.

As I realized, after the American people soundly rejected conservative values, Sean Hannity would spend everyday attacking President Obama. While Hannity has been successful in making conservatives believe Obama is a terrorist supporting marxist muslim responsible for Bush's military and economic failures, Hannity, Matt Drudge, Racist Limbaugh and the other Toxic Conservative Commentators have failed in one of the prime goals, which is getting President Obama visibly upset.

"The feeling among some people is this President is unhinged," Sean Hannity whistled to his White Supremacist Fans. "The only thing he's passionate about is ESPN, playing golf and playing some basketball."

Toxic Pukes like Hannity love to incite an emotional response from Democrats, especially African American Democrats. Because then Faux News reporters can put the incident on 24 hour loop, look askew at the camera, incline their head, speak to those that hear and smugly say "See those people always get like that..."

Some Republicans have learned that they need to alter their code words. It's no longer acceptable outside Republican and conservative circles to send emails with watermelons on the White House lawn or photoshopped images of President Obama as an African witch Doctor.

Today, sophisticated Republican bigots talk about President Obama being controlled by the ghost of his dead father and chide him for his Anti-colonialism, and use words like "unhinged" when what Conservatives want is for Obama to get angry. President Obama, however, is as cool as the other side of the pillow and will not allow himself to be prodded into such a display because he won't let himself be their n-slur.

Virginia Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has no problem parlaying her husband's position to advance her fascist agenda and to receive millions of dollars in bribes and kickbacks funneled to her and her husband through such bogus fronts like Liberty Central. But, Virginia, not satisfied with ensuring the American worker is enslaved and worked to death for her Corporate Masters, is petty or vindictive enough to demand an apology from Professor Anita Hill for daring to tell America the truth about Clarence Thomas' vile sexual harassment.

Now matter how many crimes James O'Keefe is convicted of or the number of foiled rapes he attempts, O'Keefe is beloved by Conservatives. Because he's a war hero? Nope. O'Keefe graduated from Rutgers in 2006 and avoided the Iraq War Surge and military service altogether. But, because James O'Keefe is a racist bigot who attends White Supremacist rallies and succeeded in destroying ACORN conservatives will forever love him. That is conservatives who claim to despise crime and criminals unless that criminal happens to advance conservative values like bigotry.

And, who could forget, the Conservative War Drum beaters at Faux News and at all levels of the Republican Party and scattered throughout the college-aged Young Republicans and Young Conservative movements? Chicken Hawks one and all.

Republican John Shimkus turning Illinois into Alabama

There is no doubt nor any reasonable discussion concerning global climate change. It has occurred in the past, it is occurring now, and it will continue to occur in the future. The only area for debate is the amount of impact positive and negative that man can have on the world. This should not be a political issue but guess who wants to make it one, that's right, the Republican Party.

Now some Republicans are climate change deniers out of brazen political machinations. Battered conservative voters hate the world and demand America be different, so if the world scientific community agrees climate change is happening then conservatives reflexively demand their politicians deny it.

But other Republican seek to impose their religious bigotry and ignorance onto America. Such as Republican Congressman John Shimkus of Illinois.



"I believe that is the infallible word of god," Shimkus declared because jesus whispers it into his ear every night in the original Aramaic that climate change isn't real, carbon dioxide makes for good breathing, and miners hate mine safety laws because they aren't in the bible or Constitution.

So, no amount of evidence will ever be enough for Shimkus because everything on earth (besides the bible) is coated in man's inherent evilness and as such can never dissuade him. John Shimkus is now vying for the leadership spot of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

The 300 Republican Tyrants are going to decide (often times based on a collection of bronze age myths of desert nomads) what is best for you, what you can and can not do with your body, what your quality of life will be and for how long they work you until Republicans deem you to old or ineffective and leave you to die.

The latest lie Bachmann has been sent forth to push into the political debate is President Obama's diplomatic trip to India is going to cost 200 million USC per day. 200 Million. And when confronted with her complete fabrication Bachmann doesn't bat one of those mesmerizing eyes of hers,

"Well these are the numbers that have been coming out in the press," she drones.

Additionally, besides the deranged lying Michele Bachmann, R. Limbaugh, Fox News, and conservative bloggers are claiming 34 Naval vessels (the equivalent of 3 Carrier Groups) are tasked, 870 rooms are being rented, and 3000 people are going at a total cost of over 2 Billion USC.

Most scientific theories have negative consequences for Republican Political Power, as such, those theories must be destroyed. But, ignorance doesn't merely belong to Republicans. Celebrities, most famously Jenny McCarthy, and liberals Bill Maher and Robert Kennedy Jr, immune to normal lives have thrown themselves behind the movement. Plummer said he believed local school officials should be able to determine whether to teach creationism in schools. Simon said local school districts should not be able to opt to teach creationism, saying it was an issue of "separation of church and state."

Plummer said he believes in creationism.

Asked if he believed that the world was created in six days and the earth is 10,000 years old, Plummer said: "My philosophical beliefs and my life is based on my faith, and my faith is rooted in my Christian faith."

If local school boards wanted to teach that; First jesus came and he created the loaves and the dinosaurs and then he handed George Washington the Constitution when god ordained America as a white, christian, heteronormative promised land Plummer would be Okay with that.

I saw Leslie Marmon Silko give an interview lecture at the University of Chicago over the weekend. She's fascinating but I don't want her creation myths taught in Biology or Anthropology class either.

However, more disconcerting than the individual racists who inhabit all levels of the Republican Party and all manners of conservatives is the effort by Tea Party groups to use naked aggression and threats to keep minorities from voting. If the Republicans wrest control of Congress in 2010, they are coming for your Social Security. The Republican "Roadmap for America's Future" details plans to steal as much as 50% of Social Security benefits. The Moneyed Masters of the Republican Party have wanted to get their hands on Social Security for years. They want that money flushed into Wall street were they can make it disappear to Switzerland through algorithms and derivatives.

The groom's sister-in-law told Niles police that friends were throwing the man up in the air as part of a "traditional dance" when they failed to catch him, causing him to fall to the ground. The incident reportedly occurred during an Oct. 9 reception at White Eagle Banquets, 6839 N. Milwaukee.

While I can't speak to the authenticity of the fling him around till he's injured I can attest to the quality of the food at The White Eagle in Niles. So, if you chance to be driving on Milwaukee Ave stop and sample the classic Polish Cuisine.

Joe Miller's DropZone Oathbreakers

The Oathkeepers are a group of various former and active duty Military members and Law Enforcement officers who jumped into political forefront last year along with the Teabaggers.

They crafted Youtube manifestos, propounded their Tenets at Teabagger Rallies and issued a Code of Conduct including a list of Ten Orders they will not Obey!

Among the Ten Orders is:

10. We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

The Oathkeepers emerged because one of the first smears against President Obama from Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann, Paul Broun and the Republican Party was that the US Military would be used for operations on American soil. Well lo and behold, Joe Miller, employed Active Duty Military members to unlawfully detain a US citizen.

While, I don't think they violated his 4th Amendment Rights, they did violate his 1st Amendment Rights and most states have laws against unlawful detention. In Illinois it's called Unlawful Restraint and it's a felony:

I don't know what legal authority DropZone has but, this incident is worthy of an investigation and following that possibly charges against Miller's DropZone agents and Miller himself if he gave instructions to seize anyone whose questions he didn't like.

And Republicans being evil can not imagine anyone else put into a position of power would behave any differently than themselves.

Schutzstaffel Republicans guarding Joe Miller accosted and illegally detained reporter Tony Hopfinger for daring to question the Republican Furor. Of course, it's Hopfinger's fault. Sharron Angle laid out the Republican position; Schutzstaffel Teabaggers want "the Press to be our friend" and if they aren't she and other Republican Brownshirts might resort to "Second Amendment Remedies".

Mark Kirk's Voter Intimidation Squads to stop the "jigger" are just the latest revelations in the Republican plan to stop African-Americans and poor voters from voting. Republicans know their conservative base will back any plan to strip African-Americans of the vote because the vast majority of conservatives are bigots and racists.

Update: The Republican Party has also instituted a No venga aqui! television spot in spanglish to convince Hispanic persons to stay away from the voting booth. Of course, Sharron Angle may want the ads run Charlie Chan style because if you aren't a white christian fascist they all look alike to her.

Once the Republicans succeed in suppressing the vote they will restart their Republican SS Capitalism. Socialism saved the miners in Chile, but Republican SS Capitalism delights and strives to kill as many Miners as possible. Don Blakenship is a Republican Brownshirt through and through.

We've seen what a Republican Government holds for America. Now the Teabaggers, the New Republican Storm Troopers, have told Us what they will do. End Social Security and Medicare, Destroy the Department of Education, Criminalize Abortion, Incarcerate or Execute Homosexuals, Repeal Civil Rights, Enshrine oppressive christian dogma, Eliminate fair wages and pensions, and Increase the retirement age.

Let's be clear! The Republican Party and their Dick Armey Testicle Swallowers do not hate black people no matter how many times Republicans try and eliminate their vote.

Congressman Mark Kirk a Stolen Valor Icon, that is, a man who claims unearned War Hero Status, plans to send teams of lawyers, "Voter Integrity" squads, into Predominately Black Chicago and Illinois neighborhoods to disenfranchise and discount their votes.

Kirk told Illinois Republicans, (H/T Arch Pundit), "These are lawyers and other people that will be deployed in key, vulnerable precincts, for example, South and West sides of Chicago, Rockford, Metro East, where the other side might be tempted to jigger the numbers somewhat".

Racism just has a way of oozing forth from Republicans...

I don't know Congressman Kirk's mind but it's intersting the word "jigger" would pop into his head when he is speaking about black neighborhoods and African-American voters. Almost like his mind naturally goes to a word which is close to the j based slur when he thinks about African-Americans.

Additionally, and more telling, is Kirk's lock-step Republican Bigotry in raising the spectre of Black Voter fraud yet again.

Republicans want You Poor and Enslaved

The Republican Party has a simple goal for America. Destroy Thought, Science and Freedom and Enslave the American People.

The Republican Party's Operatives, their elected officials and their Billionaire Supporters are fighting a war to reduce the vast majority of the American Populace to Wage Slaves, content with the scraps of life provided by Corporate Moneyed Masters. They've succeeded in so thoroughly compromising the Republican Party that mentally unstable persons with learning disabilities dominate Republican primaries, and it's not just 1 or 2 extremists who might slip through but the majority of candidates. And these are just the major candidates, the Republican Party is littered throughout with Bigots, like Dean Grose, and Terrorists, like Catherine Crabill, calling for Armed Insurrection against the lawfully elected President and Government.

And Don Blakenship and the Koch Brothers can insure these handpicked morons are given nearly a 50% chance of being elected by inundating all forms of media, thanks to the Citizens United Supreme Court Decision with millions of dollars and racist, bigoted fear mongering screeds which scare their handpicked demographic the entitled white heteronormative christian fascist who wants his country back. and if that doesn't work then Conservatives parade one of their bevy of "attractive" women, Sarah Palin, Andrea Tantaros, S.E. Cupp, festooned with em-smartening glasses to give these mouth breathing bigots an erection and eliminate the last remaining independent thought.

And the Tea Party is not a spontaneous uprising or some new phenomenon but merely the more vocal Rove/Armey Testicle gurgling Bigots who voted Palin/McCain whom we all got to know during the Election:



Zero to Zero point One Percent of Teabaggers voted for Obama so it's not surprising they would hate him now. The Teabaggers shouted Terrorist, Muslim and Commie Faggot then and Racists and Bigots don't change their hatreds over night.

And once the Republicans gain power they'll force you to work more years for less money, while they steal your Social Security and watch you die after eliminating your Medical Coverage. It's all to elevate a mass of Republicans who can be trusted to enact their Plutocratic Dictators Policies of Enslavement and vote whichever way The Koch Brothers decree.

James O'Keefe and Jason Mattera Conservative Birds of a Feather

And those birds happen to be Racist Chicken Hawks.

Jason Mattera is one of the most cowardly humans to have ever taken a breath. Here is an exchange between Mattera and Chris Matthews:

Chris Matthews: "Would you like to enlist in this war [Iraq]?"
Jason Mattera: "No."

Fucking Disgraceful. Conservatives are Fucking Cowards. And further:

Matthews: "What kind of people should fight in this war, if not you?"
Mattera: "Those who want to."

Mattera goes on to state, He's Fighting the Battle for Ideas. And one of those ideas is to write a book blaming all the problems cowardly conservatives have caused on Liberals.

Once years ago I told friends that a quick way to make money was to write a book and call it Liberalism is a Genetic Disorder and it's very bad for America blah blah blah. Because, Rupert Murdoch or the Koch Brothers will immediatley buy a million and a half copies and include it as a free gift to duped and ignorant conservatives who sign up for the R. Limbaugh newsletter or Human Events webzine. Well, Jason Mattera, while spending many years not in the military, has now come upon or been told the same idea! He's got a book out called Will Smith Zombies or Obama Zombies because as he said in this video he's got a tough time telling them apart.

You see Mattera is fighting on the Home Front where all conservatives muster. Mattera is among the Next Generation of Young Conservative, Generation Chicken Hawk, as captured by Max Blumenthal. The Young Conservatives of today are following in the steps of R. Limbaugh, Dick Armey, John Ashcroft (6 Vietnam Deferments, that even surpasses Dick Cheney), John Bolton, Tucker Carlson, Jim DeMint, Tom DeLay, Mitt Romney, and on and on and on. Just go down any list of Fox Supported Politicians and Commentators. None of them ever served. None of them have a clue about War. The 2010 CPAC Speakers list was a who's who of Bigoted Conservative Warmongering Chicken Hawks.

Conservatives are Fucking Disgraceful. But, conservatives have no sense of shame, no sense of honor, no compunctions about being cowardly pig fucking assholes. But, Mattera was more than content to Support the President during war, when the President is a white republican. Now that a Black man has that mantle it's a different story. And that's where the other modern young conservative step in.

James O'Keefe, Convicted Criminal, is a darling to conservatives because he targets minorities. O'Keefe is, of course, a Chicken Hawk having graduated from Rutgers in 2006 and steadfastly refusing to enlist even though Republicans at that time were rallying behind Bush and Cheney for a ratcheting up of the War in Iraq. But, O'Keefe and his Handler Andrew Breitbart had other people to attack; Minorities.

James O'Keefe was granted lifetime Hero Status and a Conservative Medal of Honor amongst the Right because through COMPLETELY FABRICATED and HIGHLY EDITED video with the help of Fox News he got the organization ACORN defunded. And when any organization which aids oppressed minorities and poor people is minimalized or marginalized, Republicans cheer because it brings them another step closer to reinstalling Slavery, which is the goal of the Republican Party's Moneyed Masters.

However, after the ACORN victory O'Keefe has landed in trouble twice. Once for a crime, which he was convicted, during the Watergate Jr wiretapping attempt at Senator Mary Landrieu's office. And now recently for attempting to seduce or drug a female CNN reporter and videotape her naked or in compromising positions.

But, these incidents don't matter to Conservatives. Mattera's nationally televised cowardice and O'Keefe's committed crimes and attempted sex crimes DO NOT MATTER to conservatives. Conservatives are cowardly hypocrites who will never disown anyone who helps advance the Conservative Values of Oppression, Theft and Murder.
