The Senate Banking Committee's effulent praise of Jamie Dimon

Rich Powerful Corporations control the US Government. JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon (literally pronounced Diamond) went to Congress to have Tea Party Super-Hero Senator Jim DeMint, Bank Executive... I mean "Senator" Charles Schumer and the other members of the sycophant Senate Banking Committee engage in a display of bootlicking not seen since Republican lickspittle Joe Barton apologized to BP Chairman Tony Heyward for Gulf of Mexico waters and sealife dirtying up his companies oil.

In the face of this evil, we the 99% are divided. The Plutocracy has succeeded in dividing Us. Now, some of Us are more wrong than others, (If you believe the 1977 CRA was responsible for the Housing Crash 30 years later or if Herman Cain's denounciation of the Poor or Andrew Deadbart's declaration to "go after the Teachers and the Union organizers", resonated with you for instance) but the awful truth is money bought and owns both "sides" of Washington DC.

In Dimon's prepared opening statement, he claims JP Morgan Chase holds,

'[A]pproximately $1.1 trillion in deposits and $700 billion in loans. CIO, along with our Treasury unit, invests excess cash in a portfolio that includes Treasuries, agencies, mortgage-backed securities, high quality securities, corporate debt and other domestic and overseas assets. This portfolio serves as an important source of liquidity and maintains an average rating of AA+. The bulk of CIO’s responsibility is to manage an approximately $350 billion portfolio in a conservative manner."

You see? JP Morgan Chase only lost $3 billion out of a $350 billion dollar portfolio! What a crock of shit. As with just before the 2007 Crash, Dimon like all the Banking Criminals claims his $400 billion in liquidity has an average rating of AA+. Dimon is willfully hiding the nature of JP Morgan Chase's holdings.

The entire Wall Street/Big Banking Super-structure is built on a foundation of naked credit default swaps, bad derivatives and toxic junk. The Giant Vampire Squids were assured their profligate criminal malfeseance and outright multi-billion dollar gambles "hedges" were 100% backed by the full faith and credit of the US Taxpayers. And they still are...

It's not that we haven't learned from our mistakes. Senator Jeff Merkeley (D-Oregon) pointed out,

"In 2008, 2009, your company benefited from half-a-trillion dollars in low-cost federal loans, $25 billion in TARP loans, of TARP funds, untold billions indirectly through the bailout of AIG that helped address your massive exposure in repurchase agreements and derivatives."

But, Dimon smugly responded, "I think you were misinformed. [W]e were asked to take TARP by Tim Geithner and Ben Bernanke." And why not because the Giant Vampire Squids were going to treat the Trillions in Guarantees from the Federal Reserve as the Mob treated the Restaurant in Goodfellas:

Senator Jim DeMint decided to lovingly praise Dimon's profitability while complaining about the United States expenses,

"We can hardly sit in judgment of your losing $2 billion. We lose twice that every day here in Washington and plan to continue to do that every day."

Yeah Jim, "We" are losing billions every day because of the fucking Trillon Dollar War Budget you vote for every year, while you've voted to keep millions in Federal Farm subsidies and for the costs associated with paying your exorbinant salary, free government funded healthcare and the massive expenses for your giant tax-payer funded DC and South Carolina Staffs and Office Spaces.

Of course, DeMint being a prime Tea Party asshole wasn't finished as he implied Over-Regulation was the actual cause of JP Morgan Chase's $3 Billion dollar plus loss and asked pretty please if Jamie would tell him what to write down for future regulation,

"Every time something goes amiss, we want to add a regulation, and we’ve surrounded the banking industry with so many regulations. It will, I think, advise us, help us and—as we look forward, and hopefully it will contribute to best practice scenario in the industry, and I appreciate your emphasis on a continuous quality improvement."

So of course, DeMint and Charles Schumer aren't going to sit in judgement of their Owners. 16 of the 22 members have received numerous campaign contributions from JP Morgan Chase. A former Senator on the committee, Mel Martinez, R-Fl., is also now the JP Morgan exec in charge of Florida, Central America, and the Caribbean. Martinez was elected to the Senate in 2004 and went to the bank in 2010. And there has been a revolving door between staffers and aides for the Senate Banking Committee and JP Morgan Chase.

And they've succeeded. The Working and Middle Classes have been murdered. America is a Corporate State now, run by and for They, the Plutocrats. The Corporate State "murdered" the Middle Class. But, it's not much of a murder mystery, Business hired the Republican Party as Hitman and the Democratic Party, in an effort to appear business friendly, stood by and watched the hit.

The Rise of the Corporate State and the murder of America is tied to that ghastly time which killed so many others, World War One. As Smedley Butler noted, "At least 21,000 new millionaires and billionaires were made in the United States during the World War."

Following the War those Moneyed Persons were afraid of the previous Era of Progressives. Huge gains had been made for the worker, Unions had won major battles. This could not stand if the Corporate State was to Rise.

The first move was to shift the debate. Socialism must be made toxic. And thus the 100 years war of the Right on Humanity began. By demonizing Socialism the entire debate shifted rightwards so much that a Moderate Fiscal Conservative Milk-Water Liberal Barack Obama can be painted as the godchild of Mao and the most radical leftist ever elected.

Of course, this shift could not have succeeded if the Democrats and Liberals had not been wooed and enticed by that well worn aphrodisiac Money. By surrendering their principles of a Just Government for a quick buck, Liberals aided and abetted the Rise of the Corporate State and Capitalist Hegemony,

Disaster Capitalism is Triumphant now and as I pointed out in an earlier post, it has absorbed many attributes of a religion. Miracles are ascribed to it, Utopia will be achieved on Earth once we surrender ourselves to its' embrace. Capitalism has done little for most people on Earth other than Presage an early death.

But, it's not enough for the Plutocracy. Hedge fund manager Clifford S. Asness and Republican Paul Ryan may enjoy a romantic $700 wine date, but every last vestige of the New Deal and the Progressive gains of Unions and Socialists must be destroyed as well. Plutocrats, like Hedge Fund Manager Stanley Druckenmiller, are willing to lose thousands of dollars in far away dividends if it means they can destroy Social Security right now.

One of the world's most successful money managers, the lanky, sandy-haired Mr. Druckenmiller is so concerned about the government's ability to pay for its future obligations that he's willing to accept a temporary delay in the interest payments he's owed on his U.S. Treasury bonds—if the result is a Washington deal to restrain runaway entitlement costs.

Republicans have brought forth bills to defund the EPA, continuing the 30 year War of Deregulation, to roll back the Clean Water Act, to steal Social Security funds and to end Medicare and Medicaid as they seek to let Corporations steal as much as possible.

But, Republicans believe the entire brunt of Government spending needs to be borne by the Working Classes. And Government Spending is actually just a giant shell game by the Republicans.

Republican Mike Lee of Utah resoundingly won in 2010 on a platform of forcing children to work in Utah's Salt Mines. Lee is demanding that a constitutional amendment be passed making it only possible to raise taxes when approved by 2/3rds of both the House and Senate and if it's not approved "in his framework" he'll bring down the Government. Basically, Lee wants to ensure that Taxes are never again raised on his Moneyed Masters.

The only Government Spending Republicans support is Corporate Welfare. It's called Defense Contracts or Tax subsides. And these monumental amounts of money go to those who have the most. Taxbreaks for owning a Private Jet. Tax payer funding for Multi-National Oil Conglomerates. Billions in No Bid contracts to Boeing, Northrup Grumman, Halliburton, BP, Blackwater (Xe) and other companies who criminally overcharge the government for their shoddy work, turn round and give campaign donations to the very same people who turn round and give them bribes the Defense Contracts.

U.S. Military spending accounts for more than half of our discretionary spending. If you really want to know where our current budget woes come from look over yonder at Iraq and Afghanistan, for our Deficit was born and raised in the desert.

And this doesn't even address the likes of petty Grifters and Scumbags like Republican Michele Bachmann and her family, who happily accept Medicare payouts and Federal Government Farm welfare while voting to end all Federal help to downtrodden Americans.

It's time to realize the Corporate State will not give back any of this power they have stolen with the direct help of the Republicans and the cowardly indifference or craven acquiescence of the Democrats.

Yes, we know that Republicans will never accept homosexuals as people let alone in the military no matter how many polls show the current military members don't give a damn, no matter if a hundred retired Generals and Admirals say it's time to let people serve openly, and no matter how many times Bush appointed Secretary of Defense Gates says it's time to change the policy.

Yes, we know that the vast majority of Republicans, like Tom DeLay, are convicted criminals who brazenly use campaign money to buy influence and steal elections.

But, what we progressives and liberals want to know is when are you going to stop trying to make friends with the Republican bullies who keep making you look foolish in your outreach efforts? We want to know when you are going to stop turning the other cheek and start meeting Republican lies and intolerance with truth and strength? Joe Miller's DropZone Oathbreakers

The Oathkeepers are a group of various former and active duty Military members and Law Enforcement officers who jumped into political forefront last year along with the Teabaggers.

They crafted Youtube manifestos, propounded their Tenets at Teabagger Rallies and issued a Code of Conduct including a list of Ten Orders they will not Obey!

Among the Ten Orders is:

10. We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

The Oathkeepers emerged because one of the first smears against President Obama from Glenn Beck, Michele Bachmann, Paul Broun and the Republican Party was that the US Military would be used for operations on American soil. Well lo and behold, Joe Miller, employed Active Duty Military members to unlawfully detain a US citizen.

While, I don't think they violated his 4th Amendment Rights, they did violate his 1st Amendment Rights and most states have laws against unlawful detention. In Illinois it's called Unlawful Restraint and it's a felony:

(a) A person commits the offense of unlawful restraint when he or she knowingly without legal authority detains another.
(b) Sentence. Unlawful restraint is a Class 4 felony.

I don't know what legal authority DropZone has but, this incident is worthy of an investigation and following that possibly charges against Miller's DropZone agents and Miller himself if he gave instructions to seize anyone whose questions he didn't like.

Republicans are transparent. Republicans and Conservatives know that if given power they will abuse it to it's fullest and use it to enrich themselves through greed, graft and avarice. And Republicans being evil can not imagine anyone else put into a position of power would behave any differently than themselves.

On Veterans Day it's time to remember the most salient fact in America, the Republican Party hates Veterans, spends their blood like nickels and wants them to die.

It's part of the Republican Party Trick and Treat Campaign; Trick the American people by claiming to support the Troops with empty words while they are busy undercutting, underfunding and stabbing Veterans in the back every opportunity they can and then Treating themselves to the money and prestige of being the War Party.

Senator Tom Coburn, Punk Ass Bitch Republican using his "rights" as a US Senator has blocked passage of a bill providing care for Veterans. A typical Republican showing his hatred for Veterans and his desire to have them die.

Republicans have fought to keep Veterans from gaining benefits when they return home because Republicans see money from the government as their money better spent on enriching Punk Ass Bitch Republican families and cronies, Republicans want Veterans destitute homeless and depressed because Republicans want Veterans to kill themselves to save money.

Disgustingly, Republicans were against the expanded GI Bill in 2008 because surviving Veterans might get a few extra thousand dollars each for school and training instead of that money being siphoned off to the coffers of Punk Ass Bitch Republican Warmongers like Eric Prince.

Then as Veterans returned from repeated deployments and faced the Bush neglected medical care at Walter Reed and reduced dwell time at home, many succumbed to depression and committed suicide, Right Wingers didn't care but instead spent all the years of the Bush Administration defending Bush and attacking Liberals while paying lip service to praise for Veterans who languished because the Republicans and their Teabagging Birtherite Minions don't care about living Veterans and use the dead to further advance Republican ambitions of Profit over People.

With that in mind, I considered the ongoing GOP claim that Democrats do not support our troops, but Republicans do. I visited Project Vote Smart to learn what our veterans have to say about just who it is that has their backs. The Disabled American Veterans gave 200 national politicians a 100% perfect rating. All 200 are Democrats. They gave 32 national politicians a rating of 50% or less. All 32 are Republicans. The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America gave 85 national politicians an A+, A or A- rating. All 85 are Democrats. They gave 49 national politicians a D, D- or F rating. All 49 are Republicans. It seems that Republicans call it supporting the troops whenever they vote for a measure to funnel billions into the pockets of war profiteers, but when it calls to actually taking care of our vets, they almost invariably complain about the costs and oppose it. So I encourage you all to do remove Republicans from office.

Real Americans love Chevys and Fords, Punk Ass Bitch Republicans love Toyotas and other foreign cars. Why? Because they hate American Workers. Republicans want American Workers to work hard while young and when you get old die quickly. That's what Republicans want for Americans to work themselves to death. This is why Republicans are always against Unions and have been fighting against Health Care all of 2009.

Unions, like the UAW, and a more fair Health Care helps Americans, Republicans are against everything which helps extend the lives of the poor and middle class in America. Foreign Auto Makers, especially with automotive plants in the South are allowed to pay cut throat capitalism wages and disbar unions while receiving US Government Subsidies and tax incentives to treat American workers unfairly.

Republican Richard Shelby of Alabama ensured Mercedes -Benz received $253 Million USC, Honda $158 Million USC and Hyundai $234 million USC tax breaks for building plants in in his state, Republican scum Bob Cooker gave Volkswagon $577 million USC for a factory in Tennessee and "Mississippi paid $284 million for a new Toyota plant; Kia got $324 million from Georgia. Texas had to fork over only $133 million for Toyota's Tundra plant in San Antonio, while Tennessee gave $197.6 million so Nissan would move its American headquarters to Nashville."

Republicans use the power of the Government and these tax "breaks" to break and destroy the UAW which doesn't vote for Punk Ass Bitch Republicans.

But, this also means that sacrifices have to be made this year the Republican Party and their Punk Ass Bitch Conservative fanatics decided General Motors was to be allowed to wither and die. Ostensibly, the Punks on the Right declared because GM made inferior products and held aloft Worldwide #1 Car Maker Toyota as the paragon of True Car Making Genius.

And Toyota Mythical Awesomeness is falling apart. All makes and models of Toyotas are being recalled for a variety of reasons.

Late 90's and early 00's Toyota Tundras and Tacomas are failing apart from rust and corrosion.

Dealing with rusted pickup frames and the subsequent fallout is nothing new for the Japanese automaker. About 1.4 million Tacomas were involved in rust-related defects that caused the automaker to make concessions last year to customers. That year, Toyota agreed to buy back Tacoma pickups from 1995 to 2000 with frames rusted so badly that they were beyond repair.

More frighteningly than your vehicle failing apart around you from Rust is the floor mat accelerator sticking problem, where pedals become trapped under floor mats, causing vehicles to continue to speed up after drivers lifted their foot off the pedal. Toyota issued a recall for the following 4 million models:

• 2007 – 2010 Camry
• 2005 – 2010 Avalon
• 2004 – 2009 Prius
• 2005 – 2010 Tacoma
• 2007 – 2010 Tundra

Defects like the floor mat/accelerator issue or rust problem "could" be excused as planning or poor oversight concerning the manufacturing process.

But, completely inexcusable would be the deliberate destruction and concealment of evidence and obstruction of justice by Toyota into the rollover deaths, which

Dimitrios Biller, a former Toyota corporate lawyer involved in the rollover cases, contends in his lawsuit that the Japanese automaker's executives "made every effort" to quash investigations from 2004 through 2007. Biller alleges Toyota TM destroyed data.

And of course, Toyota lost $1.7 Billion in 2008 and lost $6.9 Billion(!!!) in the first quarter of 2009.

Yet a Toyota Avalon was the vehicle Republican Punk Ass Bitch and Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney longingly pinned for when he penned his magnificent Op-Ed Let Detroit Go Bankrupt, writing:

Ford, for example, needs to cut $2,000 worth of features and quality out of its Taurus to compete with Toyota’s Avalon. Of course the Avalon feels like a better product

Romney further blamed the American worker for not dying quickly enough for Romney's tastes,

First, their huge disadvantage in costs relative to foreign brands must be eliminated. That means new labor agreements to align pay and benefits to match those of workers at competitors like BMW, Honda, Nissan and Toyota. Furthermore, retiree benefits must be reduced.

Romney wants American workers to make less and die quickly after they have used up their youth. And he hopes for the destruction of Detroit and the elimination of jobs and retiree benefits. Of course, Romney's worked for Government and never had to worry about where his paycheck or benefits are coming from or their elimination.

Punk Ass Bitch Republicans and Conservatives like and protect Foreign Auto Makers because they hate Americans and want you to die.

- allowed the hole at Ground Zero to remain a festering wound in order to exploit it for votes,
- negligently ignored Veterans returning from foreign wars of choice,
- subverted the Constitution,
- obscured and distorted scientific progress and thought,
- funneled Trillions to the Military-Industrial-Complex destroying the economy,
- used the power of the Federal Government to quash dissent and to undermine political enemies,
- hired incompetent religious zealots to run the military and the economy,
- and allowed criminals to drain money from the nation when hundreds of billions of dollars were hidden in Swiss Bank Accounts.

Obama has inherited a situation which Jessie Ventura declared he wouldn't "wish on his worst enemy", yet the conservatives have allowed themselves to be duped into hating and working to overthrow Obama because... he's a Kenyan Socialist, instead of the ignorant buffoon who transformed a surplus of 4 Trillion dollars into a 6 Trillion dollar debt and changed the country from the United into the Failed States of America.

And so if in their daily lie campaign Hannity can link Obama to a Clinton-esque scandal they know the have created another chain for Obama.

The Republican Extremists also feel they are on strong critical footing when they insinuate Obama has "teh gay" calling him a sissy for his crappy All-Star game first pitch. Gay baiting and bashing has been a staple of the Republicans for decades, famously voiced by the criminal Republican Spiro Agnew, whose comments were often written by the racist Republican bigot Pat Buchanan, when Agnew the Butcher called Vietnam war protesters the "Nattering Nabobs of Negativism" and "an effete corps of impudent snobs".

But, as Obama put up the first American of Hispanic descent and only the 3rd woman to the Supreme Court, the bigoted Republicans are frantic. It's bad enough Obama's President, or as Conservapedia declares the 1st Muslim President as though it's a disqualification, but to have a non christian white male on the Supreme Court for the next 25 years is a terrible blow, for the christian white male privilege is in danger! Recall only 43 of 44 Presidents and only 106 of 110 Supreme Court Justices have been white males.

As it becomes more and more clear the Republicans have completely severed their tennous ties to conservatism, a truly laudable ideology, by allowing Dick Cheney to run around for 8 years committing War Crimes and violating Americans at whim and letting the figurehead Tipsy Canoe use the power of the Federal Government to funnel Trillions of dollars to those who profit off of Death and Mayhem, the call for outright violence and the use of force to overthrow the government will go from euphemistic allusions by Fox Propagandists to an outright call for rising up.

Typical Republican Extremist Catherine Crabill of Virginia let it be known if the Republicans continue to lose they will resort to the "Bullet Box" to settle elections.

And when the Democrats attempt to curb the never-ending Theft of Nations, The Pro Human Pain and Suffering Chicken Hawk Party of Extremists then use their resources to denounce the Democrats with declarations of Troop Haters and Socialists, for they want Americans to return to serfdom as fodder for Industry or Warfare. To be used and discarded when old and worn down after securing Republican goals.

Hence the recent virulent battle against Health Care reform, continued attempts to dismantle Social Security, the never ending war against Unions, the repeated attempts, such as by Texas Republican Secessionist Extremist Governor Rick Perry, to force creationist nonsense into the education system, the outsourcing of jobs to foreign lands and the in sourcing of illegal immigrants to the US to undercut wages and the living conditions of Americans.

For any and all attempts to better the lives of the poor toiling Americans must be crushed.

A Nationalized Government run Health Care plan is good for them but not for you. A government supported pension system should give them money when they are old after their "hard work" but not for you.

Self-Hating Veterans

As the shift in voting patterns moves more people towards the Democratic Party and away from the insane Republicans, efforts are made to proclaim the vast majority of veterans are still republicans, this recent gallup poll shows veterans are more likely to be Republican, than the general public, but 62% identify themselves as Democrat/Independent. While it is fatuous to declare the parties have no difference whatsoever, I agree with words of Gore Vidal (“There is only one party in the United States, the Property Party ... and it has two right wings: Republican and Democrat.") and Bill Maher (The Democrats are what the Republicans used to be).

Today the Democrats occasionally support progressive liberal issues but, most often kow-tow to the Corporate Power which controls this Nation and uses the government and veterans to enrich their off-shore bank accounts.

But, perhaps today there is a chance as The Pimp and The Prostitute Liz Dick continue their Media Tour, young vets will move away from the Pro Human Pain and Suffering Right Wing Chicken Hawks and towards the progressive liberal self-hating views of Pat Tillman and afford the poor and the middle class a chance to do something with their lives other than be allowed the Freedom to protect the property of the rich.

One of the two went to Vietnam and was severely wounded one received 4/5ths the number of deferments Dick Cheney received.

The "honorable" Pete Sessions declared the Republican party is going to become the Taliban. At least he's admitted with whom the GOP shares their ideology. Picture your neighborhood, a bit dry, somewhat wealthy, nice large brick homes 3 car garages, 5+ baths, hardwood floors, ceramic tile and granite countertops dominate. Down the street is a nice home which over the years has been allowed to fall into a state of disrepair. Police are always coming around because the father is decidedly not a nice man, he constantly beats his wife and multiple children. There is even a very credible rumor he is keeping illegal substances in the home. He became involved in a property dispute with his neighbor which resulted in a lot of damage and injuries between the two families. And a family member who fled the home stated the father purposely killed one of his children.

You as a righteous person. You support the decision to have the Police use force enter into the home, in order to end the father's multiple crimes. The father is captured and imprisoned awaiting his trial. Unfortunately, during the raid one child is killed, another seriously injured and one of the officers dies. But the man is captured, the wife and other children are free of him. Expectations are they will be able to live a happy life, free of the tyranny of the father.

But, then, instead of leaving, you learn, the surrounding neighborhood is beset with drug dealers, pimps and murderers. The Chief of the Police decides to have the Police stay and set the house up as a trap, using it to lure drug dealers, users and other unsavory characters to the house in order to rid the neighborhood of them and end their crimes and violence.

The vast majority of the Police are noble upstanding people. But, they are put in a very difficult situation. The family wants them to leave, one of the sons attacks an officer one day and kills him, the Police in defending their lives kill the son. Additionally, the Drug Dealers who sneak into the house engage in multiple short gun battles with the Police. The wife is wounded and two of her daughters are killed in the crossfire because the Dealers use them as shields.

The Police find they are becoming hated by the family while defending themselves and actively killing the murderous scum who have been drawn to the house.

Many of the rooms of the house became damaged. The Village Board decides to rebuild them but use substandard materials and shoddy contractors for the work, resulting in the money allocated being basically lost. It also turns out the food and water supplied to the Officers on duty in the house is contaminated and the injured Officers end up not being taken care of when the leave the home at the end of their shifts.

The Village budget is severely compromised by the escalating spending needed to sustain the open-ended "crime" fighting measures. And none of the Board members is brave enough to stop the excursion because some citizens call them Weak on Crime.

Eventually after several long years and the deaths of many innocents and Officers, crime begins to subside. But, the citizens of the Village learn it's because the Chief of Police and Village Board decide to pay the criminals money to stop attacking the Officers. The Chief of Police retires, leaving the incoming Chief the task of what to do...

The Bailout was supposed to be the Troubled Asset Relief Program
