It's always good to start of the Conservative Clown Car cavalcade of cowardly chickenhawks with a pig-ignorant Sarah Palin quote and link (warning The Blaze) to the right-wing buffoons who know nothing of history.

As we watch the Republican Congressional Circus fail to fund The Department of Homeland Security and Clowns at CPAC 2015 the big takeaways are the mounting evidence that Conservatives and Republicans are destroying the Nation they profese to love so dearly, in service to their Plutocratic Masters.

Because Conservatives don't love the real America they love Imaginary America. Their Imaginary America is even more of a mockery than Ronnie Raygun's Shining City on a Hill because it's a Plutocratic Neo-Feudalist Wage Slavery State in which trickle down economics works, conservative icons like Bullshit O'Lielly, Racist Limpballs and Sean Insannity are Icons of Veracity and dogmatic truth-tellers, where the Iraq War was a massive success, where skin color, gender, and sexual orientation are not used against people ever, where poverty is totally the fault of the child born into it, where everyone could be rich if you were just willing to work harder, and everyone can get healthcare coverage sans the Government.

It's a Total Fantasy. But, conservatives also demand everyone publically swear fealty to Imaginary America. And woe be unto anyone who does not for the 1% will sic their Conservative Media and Republican Attack dogs to destroy that person.

For the Plutocracy knows that with their Media and Government they can destroy any challenges to their hegemony, which is why they've spent the last 50 years buying them both up.

At CPAC, Wisconsin (a subsidiary of Koch Industries) Governor Scott Walker proclaimed Wisconsin Liberals and Union Employees are exactly the same as ISIS terrorists. Because to the Koch Brothers, Walker's owners, anything which threatens their total domination and creation of a Neo-Feudalist America is a threat.

The Rich destroyed Occupy Wall Street, they destroyed the Anti-Iraq War Protests, they've stolen Voting Rights away from thousands, they've bleed Unions, they've methodically enacted Right-to-Work for Less laws but, they won't be satisifed until every American is shackled into Corporate Bondage and ground down into penury and crushing poverty.

For the Plutocracy sees no Nation, they respect no Flag, or National Borders; what they see in the United States is a labor force which is too expensive.

And Conservatives are their New Pinkertons, the new strike breakers ready to beat liberals, shoot minorities, murder homosexuals, put unchaste women in their place and destroy America and replace it with Imaginary America.

Finanical Criminals only get punished when they Steal from the Rich

Eric Bloom, the former head of the Northbrook, Illinois based Hedge Fund Sentinel Management Group, was sentenced last week for convictions on18 counts of wire fraud and 1 count of investment adviser fraud.

During the 2007 Republican Recession, Bloom's thievery cause Sentinel to implode and go bankrupt in a Billion Dollar vanishing of investors assets. But, as far back as 2003 Bloom began secretly using his clients funds to make high-risk investments and as collateral for multi-million dollars loans for his, his fathers' and his associates benefit.

Bloom was sentenced to 14 years for defrauding his clients of at least $665 Million. Bloom has been free on bond since the trial began last year has until April 30th to turn himself in. Bloom begged for leniency and declared, "I am not a thief". He reportedly also wrote a letter expressing his fear about his prison sentence and its' effect on his wife and daughter.

Awwww...

Charles Mosley, the head trader for Sentinel and a long-time friend of Bloom, plead guilty in October 2013 to Investor Fraud but, wasn't sentenced till last month. Mosely got 8 years.

It sure pays to be a rich white criminal.

For some reason neither Bloom nor Mosley received a death sentence, of course they didn't steal a $50 pack of Swisher Sweets. But, as with Bernie Madoff we see criminals like Eric Bloom only get jail time when they swindle Rich People.

Thieves like Bruce Rauner and Mitt Romney, who steal from poor people and "make" their fortunes robbing Working Class Pensions, get elected Governor.

Pope Francis is Dangerous

Pope Francis is dangerous to the reactionary right and the bigotry, hatred and inhumanity to their fellow man for which they stand.

Writing in his Evangelii Gaudium, Pope Francis laid out the despicable evil the Thatcherite/ Reagan Neoliberla Trickle Down Economics has wrought over the last 35 years;

Some Challenges of Today's World 

In this context, some people continue to defend trickle-down theories which assume that economic growth, encouraged by a free market, will inevitably succeed in bringing about greater justice and inclusiveness in the world. This opinion, which has never been confirmed by the facts, expresses a crude and naïve trust in the goodness of those wielding economic power and in the sacralized workings of the prevailing economic system. Meanwhile, the excluded are still waiting 

The worldwide crisis affecting finance and the economy lays bare their imbalances and, above all, their lack of real concern for human beings; man is reduced to one of his needs alone: consumption. 

While the earnings of a minority are growing exponentially, so too is the gap separating the majority from the prosperity enjoyed by those happy few.

Pope Francis has already gone beyond just words and declarations and has taken concrete steps to make the Church more Progressive and more in touch with the values upon which the Church was ostensibly founded.

The Pope removed Bishop Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst, so-called the Bishop of Bling, after details emerged about renovations to his residence in Limburg, Germany, cost $42 million. The Bishop of Bling is suspended, forbidden from entering his diocese and under investigation. 

The Pope also removed loud-mouthed conservative bigot Cardinal Raymond L. Burke from the Congregation of Bishops.

"He is saying that you don’t need to be a conservative to become a bishop,” said Alberto Melloni, the director of the John XXIII Foundation for Religious Studies in Bologna, Italy, a liberal Catholic research institute. “He wants good bishops, regardless of how conservative or liberal they are."

By embracing Church's role in aiding the poor, holding the rich accountable for their rapacious capitalist thievery, and taking steps to curb the ultra-reactionary bigots in high places of the Church, Pope Francis has alarmed many luminaries of the American Right, like Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Stuart Varney who all believe that riches on earth indicate gods' blessing.

Of course, the bigots and power apologists who claim to be Catholic but, whose actual deity is Mammon, are incensed at the Pope and have allied themselves with other Ultra-Reactionaries who adhere to the Conservative Principles of Oppression, Subjugation and Adulation of the Rich.

Pope Francis having been born in Argentina has seen first hand the end-state of Capitalism and the vile evil of rapacious Capitalists. And he is also no doubt aware of the statistics across Europe, which show that in many of the old realms of the Christianity 33-50% now claim a Non Believer status. While downright absurdist "religious" views, for example 10 Police Department Personnel of the Strathclyde PD claimed "Jedi" as their religious beliefs, are growing.

So, to Richard Dawkins the dangerous aspect of a Progressive Reformer, which Francis is setting himself up to be, would be his ability to draw many lapsed Catholics and NPCs back into the arms of the Church while also gaining ground amongst the youth.

But, to the despicably evil American Right, Pope Francis the Reformer represents a loss of Political Power and the ability to use that Might to steal Trillions from Americans and the World.

Pension Theft the latest Capitalist Scheme

"Liquidate labor, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate. Purge the rottenness out of the system. High costs of living and high living will come down... enterprising people will pick up the wrecks from less competent people," Secretary of Treasury Andrew Mellon to President Herbert Hoover in 1931.

The politics of Neoliberal Capitalism require the destruction of the wealth and political power of the 99% for the enrichment of the 1%.

Pension Theft is now the latest in the arsenal.

For years Pensions and State Budgets have been underfunded because Corporations have engaged in political shenanigans getting more and more byzantine tax codes which end up with Corporations paying negative tax rates. Now, that the outcome is a "Pension Crisis" those same pensions which were funded only by Working Class people are going to be raided to transfer those monies to Corporations.

During the same Illinois Congressional Session in which Pension Theft was approved, the State Legislators voted to provide more taxpayer subsidies to Corporations. Under SB1, four of the five state pension systems: teachers, university employees, legislators and state government employees will be changed. Judges' pensions will not be affected. This is just the latest salvo in the transfer of working class people's money to the 1%.

Workers have been dutifully making their contributions into the Pension system now the States are going to raid those Pension funds to give that money to Corporations.

For years, State Governments have given taxpayer welfare to Corporate Monsters under the guise of  'Job Creation' while also creating a byzantine tax code which taxes Corporations at 1/100th of 1%, thus the budget deficit caused underfunding of State Pensions.

Two years ago Illinois gave special tax status to Sears and this year Office Max/DePot has used the same gambit to extract a similar special tax exemption status.

Here is what Sears extorted from Governor Pat Quinn in December 2011;

The deal gives Sears tax credits worth $15 million a year for 10 years, which it can use against withheld employee income taxes. The deal also would extend a special taxing district, reducing the company's local property tax bill for another 15 years.

Sears Holding Corporation got a special property tax zone in Illinois. Sears Corporate Headquarters is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Through accounting gimmicks and legerdemain Sears transfers money electronically from other stores in other states into the Corporate HQ special tax zone, those monies will then be listed on the Corporate profit sheet and will be accounted under the special taxation rate. This is known as the Las Vegas Loophole.

For years public-sector workers were paid less than those in the private sphere but, to make up for it public employees bargained for and signed legal contracts for Pensions and other benefits. Ah, but since the 1970's, Capitalists and their Government stooges have sought to undermine the advances of Unions and Progressives in creating living wages and worker protections.

The rise of computerization, jet speed air travel, off-shoring of jobs, importing of immigrants, increased participation of women in the workforce ended the Post World War II rise in wages and ushered in the Era of Neoliberal Capitalism.

All of sudden non-public sector employees wages stagnated and began to drop, jobs disappeared, and private pensions withered until they no longer exist at all.

Now, what did the brilliant Capitalists do? As they undercut and downsized their desperate workers, Plutocrats turned around and told workers it wasn't fair teachers still had rising wages and pensions.

Think Tanks set up by Billionaires staffed with right-wing drones and power apologists began to beat the drums, not to increase wages for workers in private companies, but to tear down teachers and other public sector employees,

The same right-wing drones who hate Unions, support the elimination of unemployment coverage, food stamps or medicaid, and advocate the abolishment of minimum wage because low-wage workers need incentives in order to work hard, turned right around and defended massive payments to CEOs as necessary to retain the "best and brightest", emergency TARP baillouts and Taxpayer welfare for Oil Conglomerates and decreasing taxes on Corporations in order to entice 'Job Creators'.

Capitalism is coming to it's natural conclusion the destruction and enslavement of the Working Class and a transformation of Nation-States into Neo-Feudalist Wage Slave State.

Capitalists have been working to eliminate restrictions on the flow of capital across borders and to force American workers to pit their labor costs against that of workers anywhere in the World.

No rich person ever created a job. Jobs exist because enough people have a demand for a good or service. A 'Job Creator' might have a fantastic vision of the premier cuneiform writing stylus but all the tax breaks and government subsides to him aren't going to create the demand for his clay tablets.

But, it's not the Republicans and Pro-Business Democrats don't know this, they do, it's that their job as the lap dogs of the Plutocracy to ensure that Tax Dollars are funnelled into the coffers of the 1%.

The End State, here, is a US which provides no protection for workers, which eliminates pesky anti-pollution laws and regulations on Corporate negligence, defends the Right of the Rich to engage in wage thievery and create smaller Government, one just small enough to fit into the pocket of the Plutocracy.

Government of the Rich, by the Rich and for the Rich

Americans are mad. The 1% have always tried to funnel that anger at the Government. By and large the Rich have successfully duped conservatives into believing the Government is the source of their woes.

Look over there! That teacher has a pension! Look over there! That postal employee has good retirement options! Look over there! That Poor person is eating food and has air conditioning!

The Rich and the Republicans have spent years destroying Americans' confidence in Government by deliberate sabotage, demagoguery over "blaah people's lives getting better" from white Iowa farmers money which they use to eat steak, work out and drive Cadillacs.

The fact is the wholly-owned Republican Party and Pro-Business Democrats do the bidding of the Rich and Powerful. That Government act as the Economic Hitmen and Goon Squad enforcing the will of the Rich upon the Nation.

Even now, during the Republican enforced Shutdown, P90X Ryan offered up his Death to the Poor Budget Plan as "an olive branch".

Ryan's plan is, of course, nothing more than the same Right-Wing gibberish and contains the same-old Republicans canards; Raise taxes on the Middle Class ("broadening the tax base"), eliminate medicaid and make medicare more expensive (if you were wealthy you'd be healthy), increase retirement contributions by federal employees (eliminate the middle class), “opening up America’s vast energy reserves to development.” (Drill Baby, Drill!!!)

Nonetheless, the Republicans Coup attempt is not the endgame. The endgame is "Smaller Government". The Smaller Government they want is one just Small enough to fit into the pockets of the Super Rich.

But, it seems the Koch Brothers are a little skittish about the anger they've helped to foment. Koch Industries public relations arm released a memo denying any involvement in the Republican Government Shutdown.

However, Koch has not taken a position on the legislative tactic of tying the continuing resolution to defunding Obamacare nor have we lobbied on legislative provisions defunding Obamacare.  

We believe that Congress should, at a minimum, keep to sequester-level spending guidelines, and develop a plan for more significant and widespread spending reductions in the future 

Meanwhile, the McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission SCOTUS case is clearing the way for Unlimited Campaign Contributions. So, the Rich can choose the 536 politicians in DC who they will instruct to steadily turn the nation into a Neo-Feudalist hellhole wherein 99% of Americans will be born into Wage Slavery and have no recourse and no friend in Government.

But, the apologists for the Rich will tell those slaves that they are free. 

So, Grover Norquist will tell those slaves they don't need the damned government for anything, and when Koch Industries turns the nearby stream into a slurry of coal slag or when ExxonMobil oil pipeline befouls an entire rive and marshland, those American slaves Grover dreams of creating will simply shrug and accept it as the way things ought to be.

What Corporate Behemoths and Plutocratic Thieves want is a Government in which 99% of the American people literally can not petition for a redress of their grievances. It's the whole point of Privatization, Deregulation and Outscouring to make a Government that does not respond to the 99% but caters to the whims and directions of the Super Rich.

Switzerland's Minimum Wage vs. US Government Shutdown

Ah, Switzerland...

After every Gun Massacre here in the United States the Gun Hugging Lunatics reference Switzerland because almost everyone in Switzerland owns a gun. Sloppily implying that High Gun Ownership = Low Gun Violence or a variation of the Armed Society is a Polite Society malarkey.

Nevermind the fact that Switzerland hasn't fought in a war since Napoleon invented 2nd Generation warfare tactics of linear movement and artillery support and invaded in 1798 and the Swiss haven't fought expansive wars since Machevelli was writing his political treatises.

But, I'm not focusing on the atypical gun politics of Switzerland but the other unusual political moves the Swiss people. The Swiss people experience a wonderful direct democracy. Under Swiss law, citizens who garner 100,000 signatures can organize popular initiatives to be placed upon the National ballot. Several votes happen yearly.

A Bern-based organization Generation Basic Income have successfully garnered enough signatures for a referendum which would ensure that every Swiss adult would receive a monthly income of 2,500 Swiss francs (about $2,800 USC), most likely, to be voted upon next year.

Earlier this year Swiss voters passed the strictest laws for executive compensation. Another referendum to be voted upon on November 24, called the 1:12 initiative, goes even further by limiting executives' maximum monthly pay to 12 times the annual pay of the lowest paid employee.

So, yes it would be wonderful if the United States was more like Switzerland. While, Wall Street's outright thievery was modeled on the legendary secretive Swiss Banking system the people of Switzerland are actively working to ensure their Idyllic land is not turned into a Corporate Slave State like we have in the US by a crushing level of Income Inequality.

In the US Taxpayer money is stolen by politicians and given to the Rich and used to create Sports Stadiums, finance their purchase of private jets and given to multi-National Oil Conglomerates to whom the US Government has sworn fealty.

Because make no mistake Foster Friess, Paul E. Singer, Sheldon Adelson, the Koch Brothers, Stephen A. Schwarzman and all the Neo-Feudalist Vulture Capitalists who own the US Government set it's agenda.

And their crotch-sniffing Republican Party lapdogs and lobotomized Pro-Business Democrats only duty is to make policy which aids and succors their Plutocratic Masters.

Of course Republicans want a Government Shutdown

Because it will harm the Working Class and aid the Rich. And those are the two core missions of the Modern GOP.

The GOP and their Teahaddist Fanatics have been calling for a Government Shutdown for the last 3 years since they re-took the House of Representatives. But, it's been an on-going mission of the Republican Nihilists who Occupy DC,

"By the time we finish this poker game, there may not be a Federal Government left, which would suit me just fine," convicted Republican criminal Tom DeLay in 1994.

Republicans have set up a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. They declare Government doesn't work and then set all their energies at ensuring their proclamations manifest.

Now, the 1% don't care if the Government Shuts down (temporarily) because they have contingencies for such situations and when the Government shutdown ends they'll set their crotch-sniffing Republican and Pro-Business Dogs back out on the trail of further deregulation, outsourcing and privatization.

The Super Rich will once again sell short on the Nation, as they did when their Republican Lickspittles threatened Shutdown in 2011, and buy up more of the American Landscape. These techniques are not available to the 90% of Americans who have no stocks or bonds and can't invest  in mutual funds or get their Republican Govenors to sell them public utilities at wholesale prices.

Meanwhile small businesses around closed National Parks will go out of business, working class people will lose benefits, military spouses will be unable to pay bills, Government employees will be furloughed.

But, this is also a win for Republicans because they will claim it's all President Obama's fault.

I never thought I'd see the day when the juvenile, 'Stop Hitting Yourself! Stop Hitting Yourself' would be the governing principle of an American Political Party.

Nonetheless, we have a Party (and some of the other Party) devoted to returning this Country to the pockets of the Super Rich and ushering in an Era of Neo-Feudalist Wage Slavery.

Ann Romney and "You People"

High Patrician Ann Romney, Wife Prime of Le Dauphin of The Plutocracy, Mitt Romney hath had enough of "You People".

"You People" shall not question your betters. "You People" can eat cake. "You People" don't know how hard it was to live only on Investments.

“We’ve given all you people need to know and understand about our financial situation and how we live our life,” the candidate’s wife added.

When the Romney's deem "you people" are worthy of having a voice in the concerns of the world she will let you know in 4 years. In the meantime, all "you people" need to do is shut up Vote Romney and allow yourself to be resigned to Wage Slavery and Corporate Bondage as Ann and the Plutocrats seek.

The Romney's like the underserving, thieving, Rich scum in America made their money on destruction and the hand-in-glove incestuous relationship the Rich have developed with the Government. Lady Ann Romney, who's never done a day's labor in her life, who's tax deductions for her Dressage Horses exceed the median American income, and her husband have profitted off of misery and destruction.

The Romney's live a life of leisure becaue Mitt became very successful and raiding companies, loading them up massive amounts of debt, and tearing off bleeding chunks from the carcass when he and his other vultures played fancy paper games with the "assets" (i.e. your job and your office building).

Mitt Romney is a master at legerdemain. But, Ann and Mitt have had enough of "you people". So, now as questions arise at how many millions they have actually stored in off-shore tax havens and how little taxes (Zero? Did the Romney's get taxpayer money from the government?) they've paid, and how much wealth they made during the Bush Republican Recession arise, Ann and Mitt will turn to the duped and ignorant conservative voter, who've never found an autocrat or plutocrat to whom they would not genuflect, to elevate them to the Presidency so that they may never worry about "You People" ever again.

No Welfare for Wrigley! Ricketts chickens come home to Roost.

"As chairman of the Chicago Cubs, I repudiate any return to racially divisive issues in this year’s presidential campaign or in any setting — like my father has," Tom Ricketts does damage control, distances himself from his Right-Wing Dad and begs Mayor Rahm for $300 Million in Tax Payer money.

The chickens behind Joe Ricketts' despicable $10,000,000 bigoted smear campaign are coming home to roost! After the discovery of his plan to smear Barack Obama as the scary Black Man with Reverend Wright and the specter of Black Liberation Theology, the Ricketts demand of Hundreds of Millions of Welfare Assistance to rebuild Wrigley Field is now on indefinite hold.

Mayor Rahm Emmanuel will not return any calls from the Ricketts.

Wrigley Field is an abomination. It's falling apart and needs such an extensive  overhaul the estimate are in the Hundreds of Millions. But, while the stadium benefits from the infrastructure built around it and maintained by Tax payers, the Ricketts are adamant that Wrigley be subsidized by Welfare.

The Ricketts family is "worth" Billions, but like all Plutocratic Elites, they feel the role of Government is to force the burden of supporting their businesses' infrastructure upon the backs of the Poor and Middle Class.

Not one cent of Welfare for the Ricketts Family. It's shameful the blasé expectation that the infrastructure be built and maintained by the Public while the Ricketts squeeze every dollar of revenue from their venture for their Private bank accounts. But, that is what the 1% have successfully turned America into; a Giant pool of resources.

After years of blasting the size of government and extolling the virtue of personal responsibility, Curt including during both the 2004 and 2008 Presidential Campaigns, Curt Schilling ran into problems. The Small Government Champion Schilling moved his video game company, 38 Studios to Rhode Island in 2010, after then Republican Governor Donald Carcieri, guaranteed $75 million in loans from the state. “This is a risk worth taking," said Governor Carcieri in making Rhode Island tax payers responsible for Schilling's company. Well, Curt defaulted on a $1.1 million dollar May 1 loan payment and simply went back to the Rhode Island government to request more Welfare.

It's shameful the Billions of dollars of Welfare Corporations and conservatives have swindled from various local, state and the federal government. But, it's not surprising. Billionaires and Corporations believe the Government exists to protect commerce and over the years that belief has morphed into the idea that Government exists to take on the debt and risk of Business while at the same time it eliminates all assistance to the poor, sick, old and now struggling Middle Class.

But, that is Modern American Capitalism, Privatize the Profits and Subsidize the Losses.

Social Security a giant bundle of money the Republicans want to steal

As George W. Bush related, his greatest failure while in office was not stealing the Social Security Trust Fund for his Plutocratic Masters. If Bush had managed that Coup, Sean Hannity wouldn't have needed to get into a mulling, hissy fit of anger, on his radio show, at those "Lucky Duckies" proclaiming, 'Let Them Eat Rice and Beans!'

If Bush and the Republicans had managed to steal Social Security, the Poor people Sean Hannity so hates and despises would be dead and he could go back to claiming 9/11 happened while President Clinton was in office, TARP was signed by President Obama and Barack the Great didn't want to kill Osama Bin Laden.

The Republican Party has always hated SSI, because of what it represents; a chance for the oppressed to retire and live after they have finished decades of labor. Republicans would much rather you work yourself to death, thank you very much.

The release on April 23rd of the 2012 Annual Report by the Board of Trustees of the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance and Federal Disability Insurance Trust Funds (OASDI) made it clear Social Security isn't going to run out of money anytime soon. The assets in the Social Security Trust Fund total $2,700,000,000,000. ($2.7 Trillion dollars). In fact, Social Security is fully funded (i.e. 100% solvent) all the way through 2033.

And once we hit that year the Baby Boomer Bulge draining Social Security will have passed and the Nation will be dealing with the demographically much smaller Generation X.

But, never forget that no matter what the Republican liars, Faux Drones, or conservative sycophants proclaim Social Security has been funded overwhelmingly by the Working and Middle Class. The Rich are not paying vast sums into Social Security because the OASDI payroll tax collection has been capped for decades and collects Zero dollars over the current top amount of $110,000.

As Kevin Drum noted in 2010,

In 1983, when we last reformed Social Security, we made an implicit deal between two groups of American taxpayers. Call them Groups A and B. For about 30 years, Group A would pay higher taxes than necessary, thus allowing Group B to reduce their tax rates. Then, for about 30 years after that, Group A would pay lower taxes than necessary and Group B would make up for this with higher tax rates.

This might have been a squirrelly deal to make. But it doesn't matter. It's the deal we made. And it's obviously unfair to change it halfway through.

So who is Group A? It's people who pay Social Security payroll taxes, which mostly means working and middle class taxpayers. And who is Group B? It's people who pay federal income taxes, which mostly means the well-off and the rich. For nearly 30 years, Group A has been overpaying payroll taxes, and that's allowed the government to lower income tax rates. The implicit promise of the 1983 deal is that sometime in the next few years, this is going to flip. Group A will begin underpaying payroll taxes, and the rich, who have reaped the benefits of their overpayment for 30 years, will make good on their half of the deal by paying higher income tax rates to make up the difference.

The physical embodiment of this deal is the Social Security trust fund. Group A overpaid and built up a pile of bonds in the trust fund. Those bonds are a promise by Group B to repay the money. That promise is going to start coming due in a few years, and it's hardly surprising that Group B isn't as excited about the deal now as it was in 1983. It's never as much fun paying off a loan as it is to spend the money in the first place.

But pay it off they must.

The "Struggles" of Ann Romney embody the Whine of the Rich

Now, of course, Ann has two terrible diseases but according to Republican Tradition, since she also has millions of dollars, she is worthy of getting Healthcare Coverage. If Ann was Poor, the Party she is proudly representing would leave her to succumb to her Breast Cancer or MS.

But, Ann Romney has absorbed much of Mitt Romney's lying and so she went onto Faux News to cry her privileged white ass off about how shocked... Shocked! she was that Hilary Rosen said, Ann has "actually never worked a day in her life."

Making non-alcoholic Highballs and ordering the maids to pick up after the boys, the nannies to nurse them, the chefs to cook, and the illegals to mow her palatial estates is HARD WORK!

But, Ann is Pro-Choice. She proudly choose to stay at home with her dozens of servants and Millions of dollars to raise her children. But, what is left out of Ann's Whine is the fact the 30 year Republican Assault on the Middle Class and Working Class which has resulted in the necessary adoption of the Two-Income Family model to combat income stagnation has removed that choice for Millions of Americans. If Ann Romney can't take the heat she needs to get out of the Kitchen and get a job.

But, she would also like the Poor to know that when R-Money is elected President, Ann and Mitt are going to have compassion for them, by raising their taxes, eliminating Social Security and Medicaid. Because higher taxes on the poor and no social saftey net is a good way to teach the poor the value of a dollar!

Mitt Romney's proposed tax plan favors the wealthiest Americans. The top one percent of earners would see their average tax rate fall by nearly $150,000 per year, and the top 0.1 percent would see a reduction of more than $725,000. That's nearly a million more per year Mitt Romney can send to his off-shore bank accounts! Meanwhile, Mitt's plan raises taxes on the bottom 20 percent of Americans who would see their average federal taxes increase $149, or 1.3 percent.

George W(orst President Ever) Bush kept us out of a Great Depression

in the same way he kept us safe during 9/11...

It's the first mention of Bush's name during the entire Republican Primary and Vulture Capitalist Mitt Romney made it,

"I keep hearing the president say he's responsible for keeping the country out of a Great Depression. No, no, no, that was President George W. Bush."

Now, I think I understand what Romney meant, but in order to understand Mitt you have to see the world through his gold-rimmed monocle. Because to Mitt and his Upper Echelon 1% brethren there hasn't been a Depression let alone a Recession. Romney and the Plutocratic Thieves made out extraordinarily well during Bush's Presidency. It's just that the 99% suffered under Bush and Cheney.

Under Bush and Cheney the top 0.1% got a tax cut of $520,000, 450 times what the middle income taxpayer received. The bottom 20% only got 1% of the tax cut. The tax cuts were sold as a way to bring in middle class jobs and rising middle class wages.

Koch Industries and the Exxon-Mobile funded Heritage Foundation rabidly cheered and promoted the Bush Tax Cuts. The Heritage Foundation's 2001 report proclaimed if the Bush tax cut legislation were to pass, it would:

1) Effectively pay off the federal debt;
2) Reduce the federal surplus by $1.4 trillion;
3) Substantially increase family income;
4) Save the entire Social Security surplus;
5) Increase personal savings;
6) Create more job opportunities.

Everyone of those claims was a deliberate lie to sell the tax cuts to the middle class as a job creator and deficit reducer. None of these claims occurred. But, what did occur was a massive transfer of wealth to the Ultra-Wealthy, which were the true goals of the Bush Tax Cuts and part of the Republican plan all along.

Steal Billions and funnel it to the 1%. George Bush and Dick Cheney ran the United States as if hundreds of millions of Americans didn't exist. Bush couldn't give a shit if your job got sent overseas or if an illegal immigrant got it as long as his 1% buddies got millions of stolen taxpayer dollars. Bush couldn't give a shit if thousands die in New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. Bush couldn't give a shit is thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis die in his Bullshit War in Iraq, "Bring'em on!"

All Bush cared to do was to perpetuate and accelerate the massive redistribution of Wealth, begun by Reagan, upwards to the 1%, while grinding the working class and middle class into Wage Slavery and bondage under the tyrannical control of Plutocratic elites, or as Bush himself put it, "Some call you the Elites - I call you my base."

Let's note that Jeff Foxworthy has about $116,000,000 in assets. So, he's a solid member of the 1%. Now, mind you he isn't "worth" anything, but voting for Out-of-Touch Mitt is good business sense, since Vulture Mitt has promised to raise taxes on the poor while lowering them on the Rich.

Griffin loved the Reagan and George W(orst President Ever) Bush Presidencies where Republicans allowed financial thieves to engage in legerdemain and gambling with the knowledge that if the bubble ever burst the Republicans would get the Taxpayers to cover their losses. Ironically, in the interview, Griffin was asked why he resists a Casino in downtown Chicago,

Q. So do you or don't you think the public should know if you're giving this money?

A. This is a very sad moment in my lifetime. This is the first time class warfare has really been embraced as a political tool. Celebrity Chef Mario Batali agreed to pay out $5.25 million to his former employees to settle a class-action lawsuit. According to the article,

Batali and the other owners of the eateries unlawfully skimmed four to five percent of the staff's wine or alcoholic beverage sales from the tip pool, taking an unlawful "tip credit," paying staff members less than the minimum wage, and failing to provide "spread-of-hours" pay -- that is, extra pay when a double shift extends over a certain number of hours in the day.

The lawsuit encompasses staff members who worked at the restaurants from July 22, 2004 to February 14, 2012 -- a group that numbers approximately 1,100.

Restaurant critic Jonathan Gold said this won't damage Batali's image in the industry because he's such a gifted chef. If Batali had been stealing from investors he'd be joining Bernie Madoff in prison but, in America stealing from the Poor and Working Class is called Capitalism.

Lost among Mitt Romney's I'll bet you $10,000 dollars flub is the question; why is Romney even trying to run as a man-of-the-people? It makes no sense. Everyone knows he's a 1%er, is -- ahem, "worth" Hundreds of Millions of dollars, with multiple palatial mansions and is the son of wealthy politician. No one believes his "I'm unemployed, too" or "middle class people, like us" shtick. And besides Romney hasn't even been able to maintain his guise as a "Regular Joe". Half the time he's campaigning Romney touts his 'Job Creator' Class status.

You know Romney's business chops he likes to tout as qualifications for the White House? His work at Bain Capital, a private equity firm, Romney made millions on buying American companies and then selling off the assets, closing manufacturing plants and eliminating American Jobs. Take the Bain Capital acquisition of American Pad and Paper.

In all, Bain and its investors reaped more than $100 million even though Ampad went into bankruptcy, hundreds of workers lost jobs, and stockholders were left with worthless shares.

More recently, in Romney's magnificent Op-Ed Let Detroit Go Bankrupt, he wistfully longed for Americans to lose their jobs, blamed the UAW for the crisis and demanded Americans die quickly once they're done working to keep costs down:

First, their huge disadvantage in costs relative to foreign brands must be eliminated. That means new labor agreements to align pay and benefits to match those of workers at competitors like BMW, Honda, Nissan and Toyota. Furthermore, retiree benefits must be reduced.

Maybe because Mitt Romney has never known a day in his life when he didn't have access to money he's able to make these myopic and callous statements. Although Mitt does like to relate the hardships he endured in the late 1960's overseas. Oh no, I apologize for the confusion Romney never served in Vietnam! No, Mitt suffered and did without while on a 30 month mission in France.

Perhaps, in Romney's defense, when he was filling out his missionary card someone mistook his entry of "French-Indochina" for "France"?

So, how was Mitt Romney was living while busily avoiding Vietnam? The British paper Telegraph is reporting that in 1968 when Mitt was in France he lived in a staffed Mansion. Mitt no doubt commiserated with the Spanish chef and "houseboy" over his morning cheese, jam and croissant about missing coffee just like those Americans on patrol in rice paddies.

Mitt then spent the rest of his time trying to convince the French to give up Wine.

Eat less Chick-fil-A Corporate Bully

Being stationed in CLNC (that's Camp Lejeune, North Carolina) for 4 years, one of the off-base fast food joints we had was Chick-fil-A. Their chicken sandwiches were decent, nothing to write home about, which is why I never wrote home about them.

However, before going into the specifics, let me ask you; When was the last time you mistook a quick fried chicken breast for a leaf of kale? Chick-fil-A is attempting to stop Vermont artist Bo Muller-Moore from using the phrase "Eat More Kale" because according to their bevy of Corporate criminal lawyers it violates their phrase "Eat Mor Chikin".

If Corproations are people, then Chick-fil-A is an ignorant, authoritarian, homophobic, self-righteous, chicken-shit bully with a cow udder fetish...

Now, to be completely fair the original founder of Chick-fil-A, S. Truett Cathy, appears to be an incredibly generous, hard-working and giving man (the opposite of the Ayn Randian Superman) as he spends time and gives vast amounts of money to charity.

But, just as Polybius described in the cycle of political revolution, once the goodly beloved king passes away or loses control of the realm (or in this case the Corporation) the small elite cadre which eventually takes over doesn't have the same benevolent aspects and descends into tyranny.

Of course, when the Mythical Age of Corporate Self-Regulation occurs we need not worry what a business like Chick-fil-A is doing because every cease-and-desist order or whatever they may be doing, it'll be with our best interests at heart.

Michael Bloomberg talks about the Republican Recession

New York Billionaire Mike Bloomberg, angry that his beloved 1% are correctly being blamed for Wall Street's Rigged Toxic Economic System which led to the current Financial Disaster, recently told the OWS protests; "I hear your complaints. Some of them are totally unfounded. It was not the banks that created the mortgage crisis. It was, plain and simple, Congress who forced everybody to go and give mortgages to people who were on the cusp."

Thank You Mayor Bloomberg for pointing out this Economic Disaster was accomplished at the behest of the 1% by the REPUBLICAN PARTY. This is a Republican Recession. This is the Economic Collapse is the Fault of the Republican Party.

Okay not exactly, the current Recession is being pushed on America by the Rich 1% Plutocrats with the vicious Republican dogs and conservative dupes aiding them. Bloomberg can't help himself. His Aristocratic sensibilities are offended by the sight of the 99% expressing their 1st Amendment Rights. But, Bloomberg can't wallow in the mud like Faux News "Reporters" or Conservative Smear Merchants.

Bloomberg isn't the only angry One Percenter, BofA CEO Brian T. Moynihan is "incensed" by the plebes. How dare these OWS types not recognize their Moneyed Masters beneficence! "I, like you [speaking to BofA Executives], get a little incensed when you think about how much good all of you do, whether it's volunteer hours, charitable giving we do, serving clients and customers well," Moynihan said. Addressing critics, he said, "You ought to think a little about that before you start yelling at us."

But, let's not forget the Wall Street Criminals and Bank Thieves could not have accomplished this theft of Billions without the aid of the Republican Party. But, unlike what the alternate reality the Rightwing revisionists are trying to sell these days the Government didn't force any bank, any lender to make these loans. The Banksters and Wall Street Criminals wanted the housing bubble and choose the Republicans in Congress and the White House to push through legislation making their crimes "legal".

It doesn't even start with Senator Phill Gramm or the Gramm-Leach-Bliley repeal of Glass-Steagal in 2000. It doesn't end with the Heritage Foundation's 2001 ridiculous claims the Bush Tax Cuts on the Wealthy would accomplish the following:

1) Effectively pay off the federal debt;
2) Reduce the federal surplus by $1.4 trillion;
3) Substantially increase family income;
4) Save the entire Social Security surplus;
5) Increase personal savings;
6) Create more job opportunities.

No this Republican Recession is not an accident. It is the culmination of the Republican Party's Owners to shrink Government down to be drowned in a bathtub. The despicable Grover Norquist, originator of the Drowning phrase, longtime conservative smear merchant, long-time partner of convicted criminal Jack Abramoff, president of the conservative Americans for Tax Reform, said President Bush will be remembered “long after people can no longer pronounce or spell Fallujah.”

And Grover will be correct. Bush's "Ownership Society" ideals, which began when he was Governor of Texas in the 1990s, will be remembered in US History classes as the either, the realization of a long held Republican goal, the destruction of the Middle Class, the largest Transfer of Wealth to the Richest 1%, and the creation of perpetual Wage Slavery for America or the rise of #Occupy and the beginning of the Renaissance of the American People.

Once Bush got into the White House (and in his spare time of ordering Americans to torture, making up stories about phantom Iraqi WMDs, and not spending much time worrying about Osama Bin Laden) Bush was aiding and abetting Alan Greenspan and the Wall Street Thieves in creating an financial housing bubble in which Wall Street would end up receiving Trillions of dollars under the guise of helping everyone own a home, "And part of it is working together as a Nation to encourage folks to own their home." President George W. Bush, Oct. 15, 2002.

The really bad credit default swaps, the really divorced from reality derivative gambling, the really evil chop and blend bundling of worthless toxic assets into AAA rated loans occurred between 2002-2006, at a time the White House, Supreme Court, House of Representatives, and Senate were all completely dominated by Republicans.

However, in light of the Right's new found vocal support for the Police, in an attempt to set them against the 99%, it should be noted just a scant two years ago, while on the Macon Georgia city council, Erickson wrote this: I'm thinking I’ll have the City Attorney draft me legislation to dissolve the police department. Why? Because 130 officers expressed interest in forming a Union. Erickson is just another "goat-fucking" defender of the Rich and Powerful and a typical rightwing asshole who lauds the police when they need them for rousting out hippies, but then cuts off their pensions and dental insurance when times aren't dangerous.

Republican Steve Frank, Covington, Kentucky City Commissioner declared, "Turn Out the Lights on the Occupiers, I feel like going Taliban on them!!!" When asked for clarification Franks said, "I am resisting the Occupiers and very proud to be a 1%’er."

But, NOW, contrary to their ballyhooed Oath, they support violent mass arrests of Americans. Seems their "claim" to defend Americans from illegal Power grabs, detentions and arrests only extended so far as they could blame the black guy in the White House.

But these people are just the footsoliders fighting for the extra ration of mealy bread and tin of milk, the true enemy are the horrific Rich Bastards, who have no trouble turning schools into toxic waste dumps.

Georgia-Pacific Crosset Operations, a Koch Brothers owned plant, has dumped millions of gallons of waste water containing tons of toxic and cancer causing materials. George W. Bush was beaming at his near accomplishment of murdering the Middle Class*. The American public and liberals everywhere have been struggling with the evil face of the conservative movement, which the common wisdom declares, has entered an unprecedented period of Reactionary Activism.

Well, it isn't. The Conservative Movement and the Tea Party are hollow shells. They were never angry at Wall Street and the Republicans for destroying the American Economy. What Republicans are preaching and teabggers and conservatives are swallowing is not some new phenomenon but an older one. The term for these heartless power worshippers is Social Darwinists**.

The Rich Plutocrats in this nation are incensed the Middle Class exists and the policies of Liberals and Progressives created a government which helped the poor and less fortunate rise. And the 1% rage and anger is not limited to being expressed whilst they sit around around in their executive corinthian leather high-backed chairs with cigars and brandy snifters. It's been out on public display.

According to the Social Darwinist Theory the Rich ascribe to, they are the Top of the Heap, they are due $700 dollar Pinot Noir Wine Dates. Taking away their Private Jet Tax Rebate is the height of Socialism! They are due the adulation and applause.

The Tea Party, whatever it was originally supposed to be, was immediately co-opted by the 1% and used to attack Federal Government programs which aid the poor. Look at their targets: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Unemployment Coverage, Pell Grants, Unions, Healthcare coverage for all Americans. Look at what they ardently defended: Capital Gains Tax Rates, Corporate Subsidies, Welfare for the Wealthy.

Everything the Republicans, "business friendly" Democrats and conservatives support are policies designed to use the power of the Federal Government to funnel money to the 1%.

Reagan wasn't the beginning, but he ushered in this Era of Deregulation and Corporate Control of Government and Bush wasn't the end. But, after the 2010 elections the Rich believed they had purchased enough politicians to deal crushing blows to the 99%.

And that is why the We are the 99% movement is causing so much anger amongst the Plutocracy. Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are standing up to their evil pernicious plan to subject us to Corporate Feudalism and Wage Slavery.

But, it won't be easy.

At first, the 1% were sure the rapidly approaching bad weather would disapate the Protesters, but then the rains stopped in Chicago and the protests started in other cities!

"I think they're really touching a nerve. The nerve is the average American understands that as a result of the greed and the recklessness and the illegal behavior on Wall Street, these guys plunged us into the horrendous recession that we're in right now," Senator Bernie Sanders.

Already incensed the Wall Street Criminals directed their Billionaire Mayor Bloomberg in New York to crush the OWS via tactics of the 19th century Pinkertons and the NYPD dutifully carried out the orders. Of course, the fact that JP Morgan Chase bank "donated" 4.6 million dollars to the New York City Police Foundation has nothing to do with Police tactics in New York.

The 1% are going to continue to try divide the 99% and play us off against one another. They are going to continue to throw a slightly larger crust of bread to their paid for Politicians and Law Enforcement Officials. They have the Guns but We got the Numbers!

Remember the Occupy Together movement is True Grassroots! Get out and support them. Attend a Rally! Offer legal or financial support to them when the illegal mass arrests begin. It's as simple as President Bush declared, 'You either Stand with the Plutocratic Terrorists or You Stand with the 99%!'

*- From 2001-2009 under President My Pet Goat, multi-national Corporations laid off 2.9 million workers in the US, while creating 2.4 million jobs overseas in Slave Labor Nations. Median Income declined outright from 1999 to 2009. From 1960 to 2000, manufacturing accounted for 20 million jobs in the U.S. since 2000 we've lost a 1/3rd of those jobs. Between 2002 and 2007 2 out of every 3 dollars of Income growth went to the Richest 1%.

It's not that the Republicans murdered the American Dream, it's just that their version of the American Dream is one in which the US is a Corporate Controlled State, where a small cadre of Politicos, Industrialists, and Business Behemoths absorb the vast wealth of this nation with the US Government existing solely to defend and protect the Wealthy Plutocrats and Oppress or Kill off the Middle and Working Classes.

And they've succeeded. The Working and Middle Classes have been murdered. America is a Corporate State now, run by and for They, the Plutocrats. The Corporate State "murdered" the Middle Class. But, it's not much of a murder mystery, Business hired the Republican Party as Hitman and the Democratic Party, in an effort to appear business friendly, stood by and watched the hit.

The Rise of the Corporate State and the murder of America is tied to that ghastly time which killed so many others, World War One. As Smedley Butler noted, "At least 21,000 new millionaires and billionaires were made in the United States during the World War."

Following the War those Moneyed Persons were afraid of the previous Era of Progressives. Huge gains had been made for the worker, Unions had won major battles. This could not stand if the Corporate State was to Rise.

The first move was to shift the debate. Socialism must be made toxic. And thus the 100 years war of the Right on Humanity began. By demonizing Socialism the entire debate shifted rightwards so much that a Moderate Fiscal Conservative Milk-Water Liberal Barack Obama can be painted as the godchild of Mao and the most radical leftist ever elected.

Of course, this shift could not have succeeded if the Democrats and Liberals had not been wooed and enticed by that well worn aphrodisiac Money. By surrendering their principles of a Just Government for a quick buck, Liberals aided and abetted the Rise of the Corporate State and Capitalist Hegemony,

Disaster Capitalism is Triumphant now and as I pointed out in an earlier post, it has absorbed many attributes of a religion. Miracles are ascribed to it, Utopia will be achieved on Earth once we surrender ourselves to its' embrace. Capitalism has done little for most people on Earth other than Presage an early death.

But, it's not enough for the Plutocracy. Hedge fund manager Clifford S. Asness and Republican Paul Ryan may enjoy a romantic $700 wine date, but every last vestige of the New Deal and the Progressive gains of Unions and Socialists must be destroyed as well. Plutocrats, like Hedge Fund Manager Stanley Druckenmiller, are willing to lose thousands of dollars in far away dividends if it means they can destroy Social Security right now.

One of the world's most successful money managers, the lanky, sandy-haired Mr. Druckenmiller is so concerned about the government's ability to pay for its future obligations that he's willing to accept a temporary delay in the interest payments he's owed on his U.S. Treasury bonds—if the result is a Washington deal to restrain runaway entitlement costs.

Republicans have brought forth bills to defund the EPA, continuing the 30 year War of Deregulation, to roll back the Clean Water Act, to steal Social Security funds and to end Medicare and Medicaid as they seek to let Corporations steal as much as possible.

But, Republicans believe the entire brunt of Government spending needs to be borne by the Working Classes. And Government Spending is actually just a giant shell game by the Republicans.

Republican Mike Lee of Utah resoundingly won in 2010 on a platform of forcing children to work in Utah's Salt Mines. Lee is demanding that a constitutional amendment be passed making it only possible to raise taxes when approved by 2/3rds of both the House and Senate and if it's not approved "in his framework" he'll bring down the Government. Basically, Lee wants to ensure that Taxes are never again raised on his Moneyed Masters.

The only Government Spending Republicans support is Corporate Welfare. It's called Defense Contracts or Tax subsides. And these monumental amounts of money go to those who have the most. Taxbreaks for owning a Private Jet. Tax payer funding for Multi-National Oil Conglomerates. Billions in No Bid contracts to Boeing, Northrup Grumman, Halliburton, BP, Blackwater (Xe) and other companies who criminally overcharge the government for their shoddy work, turn round and give campaign donations to the very same people who turn round and give them bribes the Defense Contracts.

U.S. Military spending accounts for more than half of our discretionary spending. If you really want to know where our current budget woes come from look over yonder at Iraq and Afghanistan, for our Deficit was born and raised in the desert.

And this doesn't even address the likes of petty Grifters and Scumbags like Republican Michele Bachmann and her family, who happily accept Medicare payouts and Federal Government Farm welfare while voting to end all Federal help to downtrodden Americans.

It's time to realize the Corporate State will not give back any of this power they have stolen with the direct help of the Republicans and the cowardly indifference or craven acquiescence of the Democrats.
