When Covid denialism and anti-vaxx lies took hold in America and Republicans were more than willing to die and were happy to let their so-called loved ones die alone in hospital beds hooked up to ventilators in fear and terror as their bodies failed I was saddened we'd reached the point were MAGA Cultists were willing to die rather than believe experts, reality, and truth.  We've now reached the point when Republicans cultists are eager and ready to kill Us to deny reality and replace it with their own feelings of hatred and anger.

The Republican response to their recalcitrant denialism and blatant disregard towards the Climate Crisis is playing out exactly as you expect;  Republicans are blaming Democrats, scapegoating Immigrants, and declining to properly ascribe the causes of the devastating hurricanes to climate change.  And it's only going to get worse and more monstrous as the effects continue to batter the Nation.  And once insurance markets collapse, Billionaires have safely rendered their ill-gotten assets from being touched, and Republicans continue to loosen regulations and allow direct pollution and indirect pollution to poison the planet they will simply shrug and tell people, 'Too bad'.  

Republicans and Billionaires absolutely want to destroy the American Dream and crush working Americans into Penury and Servitude.  Now, Republicans used to not admit this but, over and over and over Republicans and their Billionaire backers talk wistfully about slashing the Social Safety Net and eliminating Obamacare, even while Just Dishonorable Vance credits traitor Trump with saving Obamacare and getting his dear Ole MeeMaw healthcare coverage.

When Republicans — particularly billionaires and multimillionaires like Trump and Vance — invoke the American Dream, they largely ignore the middle class. Instead, that phrase to them means the ability to:

— Get rich beyond the dreams of King Midas 

— Own multiple mansions from Florida to Colorado to Switzerland (and Trump added Venezuela on his Monday night call with Musk)  

— Cavort with nubile young women and investment bankers on your very own superyacht or Lolita Express private jet  

— Have private concierge doctors and nurses on call at all times  

— Employ private security to guard your mansions and wield weapons of war to keep them safe from the masses 

— Buy judges for the Supreme Court to get decisions that make your life easier  

— Legally bribe judges and politicians at every level from the county commissioners to Congress and the president, and 

— Avoid paying taxes so successfully that the average American billionaire today pays less than 8 percent in income taxes.

Billionaires want to set themselves up as an American Nobility but, primarily they want Republicans to impoverish you and leave you starving, because the starving hungry man will do as he is told. The starving family will take all work offered with very little pushback or complaint.  The desperate are pliable to the whims and dictates of the 1%.

Republicans want you poor, starving and desperate because then they can enslave you.  And Billionaires believe they have acquired enough wealthy, status, and power to insulate themselves from anyone who might try and rise up against them; while also being assured that MAGA conservatives would relish an opportunity to engage in an euphemistic "One Rough Hour" against their perceived enemies.

But, yet again the Corporate Media is loathe to call out Trump's Straight Nazi Rhetoric.  The way the Corporate Media framed traitor Trump's eugenicist call for a Final Solution for Immigrants in America is nothing less than a shocking dereliction of duty and a clear reminder the Media's goal is to help their Beloved Trump back into the White House.

Meanwhile, Trump is broadcasting vile non-stop lies about Hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina and, the Corporate Media is tentatively waiting to see if the rightwing propaganda about Hurricanes gets purchase so they can help Republicans spread their lies and win elections... like they always do. 

This is the last month before Election Day; do everything you can, send post-cards, phone bank, knock on doors, talk to friends and family and GOTV because the Morlocks are waiting and they won't be satisfied or satiated by rounding up and liquidating migrants, they want to destroy millions, and return America to the Greatness of the Colonial Era when rich white men owned everything and the majority of the people in these United States were little more than chattel.

President Biden got through the Terrorist Republican hostage debt ceiling attack and secured a very good government funding bill for the next two fiscal years.

Then, as the fragile vote in the Fascist controlled House and Sinema Manchin controlled Senate came up, Joe Biden took a pratfall to distract the Rightwing zombie internet. Classic and effective. 

If the Hostage situation of the Debt Ceiling Crisis had became a full-blown default while crashing the US Economy, then the Corporate Media would have run with what a shocking lack of leadership this was by the President.  If President Biden had played the too cute game of 14th Amendment saying we pay debts and ignored the Republican Terrorists then the Corporate Media would have run with President Biden has caused a Constitutional Crisis Certainly, the Republican House would have gotten some blame but, they would have been excused by "Journalists" because everyone knows The Republicans are crazy, have no interest in governing, and exist to throw tantrums on TV while flinging shit everywhere.

The Corporate Media is paid to pretend Republicans argue in good faith and Republican proposals are an honest reflection of limited government and that Republicans truly believe their plans are the right path for the Nation.

Fundamentally, a functioning US government is a detriment to the Republicans.  Or to be more precise Republicans want a government which works for Harlan Crow and drowns everyone else in a bathtub.

This is one of the main salients in the slow moving Coup Republicans launched 50 years ago.  This is what the Powell Memo laid out as Conservatives sought to remake the Democratic Republic into a Neo-Confederate Corporate controlled Wage Slave Nation-State.  Republicans want a Nation that pretends to be free, pretends to offer Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness but is, in fact, a Fascist One Party Apartheid Country.

Republicans hate you.  Republicans want you to suffer and, if necessary, die.  We, the people see this clearly with Republican gun policy.  We, the people see this clearly with the fanatical opposition to "Obamacare".  We, the people see this clearly with the tyrannical push to ban all care for anyone who identifies as Queer.  We, the people see this clearly with the Republican devotion to undermining safety regulations on trains for instance or with the removal and neutering of environmental protections.  We, the people see this clearly especially with the push to restrict women's reproductive rights and choices.

Uundermining the government being an "outsider" denigrating "career politicicans" has been a winning elecotral strategy for over 40 years now.  This is the natural evolution of Republicans rhetoric as it descends from Ronnie Raygun's infamous 9 words, I'm from the government and I'm here to help. 

Of course Republicans wanted the debt ceiling to crash the economy. Of fucking course Republicans will gladly grind Government to a halt. Of fucking course Republicans will undermine the United States.  Doing so plays into their rhetoric.  Blame Joe Biden.  Blame Joe Biden.  Blame Joe Biden.  Just listen... I'm sure you can hear cavewoman Major Traitor Greene's terrible southern accent a-blamin' and a-impeachin' Joe Biden over debt default.

But, certainly while the GQP is vile and deplorable they are not stupid, they will keep a Democratic form with out the functions.  Much like elections in Saddam's Iraq you'll be able to turn in a ballot under the watchful eye of paramilitary white rightwing gunmen (currently being beta-tested in Arizona). 

But, we see glimpses of the ultimate end state, as when Faux News staged a mock trial of Hunter Biden for their audience of drones.  Throughout history, such "Show Trials" are part and parcel of Fascist Regimes.  

It's why rightwingers Bro Rogan, Tool Si Gabbard, Ben SShaprio, Dinesh D'Scumbag, Sean Insanity, and Fvcker Carlson lie about everything from cat litter boxes for children in schools, to the over one million Americans who died from Covid, to the 2020 Presidential Election itself.  They are getting their brainwashed conservative drones ready to accept and commit atrocities.  And, let's be clear, a vast swathe of Rightwingers in America are never coming back to reality, their reality is what they want it to be and this panel of Pittsburgh MAGA Republicans makes it clear they believe all the lies told to them by rightwing propagandists. 

Republicans are crafting so much propaganda it's overwhelming.  You have Sam di Puzzi Alito telling Heritage Foundation that he was the victim and just lying about conservative SCOTUS justices facing death threats and being betrayed by the Dobbs decision leak.  You have Major Traitor Greene claiming democrats are already killing republicans.  As Herschel Walker illustrates rightwingers don't believe anything they say, and don't have any standards, morals, ethics, or values; they care only for power so, what will Republicans do when they have that power?

Get Ready, America.  Everyone is rightly alarmed over The Federalist Manifesto which overtly calls for adoption of Fascism in America and the blunt application of force by a Government controlled by conservatives.  Republican rhetoric has been eliminationist for quite awhile now but, with far-right agitators and elected Republicans pushing so many lies about President Biden's Tyranny, out of control crime (only in Democrat controlled cities mind you), The GREAT REPLACEMENT of White Real Americans with Illegals, and about out of control leftist violence (especially and even after many of those events were proven to be the work of rightwing agitators) that rightwing preemptive "self-defense" is going to be the go to...

Republicans know crime in New York City is higher than in Rural rightwing Oklahoma, no matter what facts say.  Republicans know 100,000,000 illegal immigrants flooded America in the Presidency of Obama and Brandon because they think tanks tell them so.  Republicans know gun crime only happens in Chicago (black black blackity black black black black) despite the Most Draconian Gun Laws in history.  Republicans know the peaceful and legitimate Jan 6th protesters are being held as political prisoners by Mao Tse Brandon while BLM and Antifa burned down Democrat controlled cities at the behest of the Democrats because Steve Bannon told them so, "Did you happen to see June 2020 when they burned down Chicago and they burned down Seattle and they burned down Portland, burned down New York City?"

This is all to set up the Casus Belli rightwingers need to engage in vigilante "justice" but, what Republicans really want is control of the apparatus of the state.  With the power of the Federal Government and multiple state governments Republicans will make their pogroms against LGBTQ, minorities, teachers, and anyone who identifies as non-MAGA "legal".

Republicans have in store multiple avenues of attack which they will launch upon the American people.  They've already started.  Bodily Autonomy is already a thing of the past for women, constitutional rights like freedom of movement will be curtailed by the rightwing's claim of protecting the life of the child.  Trans persons will be made prima facia illegal.  And with a reversal of Lawerence v. Texas, expect LGBTQ persons to be arrested on sight sans a warrant.  

Slowly strangling social security and the safety net increasing morality amongst the majority of the us population.  Restricting women's healthcare options under the guise of Pro-Life bullshit will increase deaths among women.  Shackling Millenianls into 80 hr-a-week minimum wage jobs with no benefits to teach them the value of work.  Doing away with debt relief is a pro forma position of Republicans.  But, these are slow moving ways of killing off people whom Republicans deem undesirable.  Republicans are really seeking a Commitment to a Final Solution.  

Because here is the evil dark truth, which almost no one wants to acknowledge; what Republicans and Rightwingers really want is to establish government funded and run concentration camps and paramilitary death squads.

There are legions of rightwing propagandists gearing their drones up to become violent.  Charlie Kirk, Tim Poole, Ben Shapiro, Candeath Ovens, and so many others tell their listeners lies all day, everyday about drag queens, Wokeism, CRT, Antifa, President Biden because they want to be able to claim self-defense for the massive wave of violence Republicans and Rightwingers yearn to unleash on America, at least at first.  After a few years of killing and with complete control of the Federal Government then the official DeSantis helicopter rides, the Truckers for Trump cattle cars filled with liberals, and the Gitmo modeled death camps will be up and running.

Meanwhile, Republicans have self-radicalized into an Authoritarian Party of bigotry, hatred, and intolerance, who no longer accepts election defeats.

Anyone claiming this and all his rallies are not Fascist, strains credulity beyond belief or is a bad faith actor who is pleased with the direction the Republicans have chosen.

The GOP was happy dangling Total Abortion Bans, draconian drug penalties, and foreign wars chock full of war crimes while slowly subverting the Nation through legerdemain and lifetime hacks on the Courts.

But, in the background for decades conservatives grew up surrounded by the sealed Limbaugh propaganda bubble, now multiple generations have known naught but the rightwing lies and agitprop relentlessly fed to them.  Enter Trump who told them what they've always "known" and did so in the crude vulgar fashion they desire.

And thus its here; The actual Storm.  The 2022 elections are already being undermined by bureaucratic violence from elected Republicans but, conservatives are going to be out and about looking to intimidate election judges, voters, and declaring any election result they don't like to be Fraud.

Then with enough Reactionary Trumpists in office the GQP will combine their paramilitary domestic terrorist groups, standing by, with the awesome power of government. 

Joni Ernst plans to castrate Social Security as Republicans push to destroy the American Dream

The long term dream of the Republican Party has been the elimination of the social safety net and the crushing of the American people.

A key pillar of Republican agenda to remove the hope of retirement and crush the American Dream has been stealing Social Security. George W(worst POTUS Ever) Bush tried to roll the entire SSI into the Stock Market in 2005, this would have been a brilliant move because the 1% would have managed to steal the entire Social Security fund and stave off his Great Recession while simultaneously sending millions of Americans into penury and early deaths.

Republicans want Americans to work until they are too sick, too old, or injured and then die. That's the reason Republicans loathe Obamacare so much, it ensures people will receive at least some medical care instead of losing their entire life savings and then dying quickly as Republicans prefer.

Senator Joni Ernst is apparently the new face of Republican mendacity. Republicans rolled out Joni during the Bart  O'Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings to talk about her sexual assault. Ernst then dutifully voted to confirm Justice Bart I Love Beer & Rape. Now, Ernst seems to be floated as the new face of the Republican Path to Penury.

Ernst told her Iowa constituents, it's time for some sacrifice,

"How do we sustain Social Security for some of our younger workers? We know that there is a point in time when we as Congress will have to address the situation, and I think it’s better done sooner rather than later, to make sure that we shored up that system. So, it’s a broader discussion for another day. But I do think as various parties and members of Congress, we do need to sit down behind closed doors so we’re not being scrutinized by this group or the other, and just have an open and honest conversation..."

One of the brilliant tactics used by the Republican Party is to inflict pain right now and not worry about the long-term fallout or electoral pushback. Because Republicans know whatever damage they do Now will be forgotten when Election Day rolls around.

Once Republicans get Americans to give up Social Security, it will be gone forever as Republican push their agenda of Oppression, Intolerance, and crushing the American worker into a life perpetual Corporate Bondage and wage slavery.

The Trump family and the Republican Party are straight-up Traitors

We are a Republic not a Democracy - Conservative Mantra. Thanks to the traitorous Republican Party we have become a Respublik under Russian control.

Right wingers claim 3 million votes for Hillary were illegal, to explain why Trump was awarded the Presidency, as the ultimate Participation Trophy for coming in second place.  But, distressingly conservatives allowed 1 Dictator to determine the 2016 Presidential Election.

The Republicans always admired Dictator V. Putin.  Conservatives cherish and revere Putin because they long to have a strongman authoritarian dictator in office.  Putin's been sending Russian Agents into the US to destabilize faith in our governmental institutions and he found a willing partner in the Republican Party.  Putin shrewdly bought low and purchased Donald Trump in the 1990's and sat on his investment.  As the American Right-Wing descended into reactionary insanity and lost the last shreds of diginity, morality, and patriotism, Putin bought them too.

"There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump – swear to god!", Majority Leader of the Traitor Republicans Kevin McCarthy admitted to House Lead Traitor Paul Ryan and Gun Nut Steve Scalise last year.

Now Putin is selling High as he orders Trump in their private secretive meetings and the Republicans to eviscerate the American Dream at home and the American Ideal abroad.  Russian asset Dana Rohrabacher was ordered by Kremlin officials to disseminate Russian Propaganda on the U.S. House floor to weaken the Untied States and aid Putin and the Russian Government.

The Republican Party, henceforth the Республиканская партия (anglicized Respublikanskaya Partiya) takes orders from the FSB and the Kremlin. Respublikanskayas have known for years Trump and members of Congress are owned by Vladimir Putin.

So, the Republican Party are allied with a foreign power to subvert the United States.  The Respublikanskaya Partiya declared war on the United States decades ago and have no compunctions when it comes to undermining elections, disseminating lies and propaganda, collaborating with foreign powers, and engaging in all manner of illegal activities in order to achieve power.

The Respublikanskaya Partiya goal is to remake America into a Neo-Feudal Tyranny in which all power and wealth resides in the hands of the 1% and Republicans act as vicious Guard Dogs for the Plutocracy, keeping the 99% shackled in perpetual wage slavery.

If it means the Republicans have to pay dividends to V. Putin well that's just the price for enacting their brutal evil agenda.

The Banana Republican Party latest plan to kill thousands and bankrupt millions of Americans is moving forward in fits and starts.  As the Party of Treason and Subversion of the United States the Respublikanskaya Partiya hates the American People and wishes to curtail the gains Americans made in the 20th century.

The Repeal and Replacement of Obamacare with They Don't Care is a case in point.  Republicans rallied against the ACA for 7 years!  They gnashed their teeth, they tore their hair, they beat their breasts, if only that Dastardly Obama would get out of the way they, the Republicans, would pass a Healthcare Insurance Law which would stand for all time.

Now, since the 2016 elections, the Republicans hold the entire Federal Government.  Yet, all they've mananged to propose are plans so cobbled together, so inane, and so monstorously evil even their duped and battered right-wing drones don't support it and the Insurance Industry has declared the latest version which includes the Ted Cruz Amendment "unworkable".  Ah, but there is one group which supports it, the Republicans Masters' the 1%.

Trump's campaign gave conservatives everything they wanted. Outright bigotry, violent racist language, implied calls for violence and explicit consent to harm the American People.

But Trump's election gave Republicans a chance to get everything they and the 1% have wanted; an End to American Dream and the elimination of the Social Safety Net.  Republicans serve the Plutocracy and the Plutocracy has no use for the American Dream. Republicans view American's value only in terms of the amount of work each American can do and the amount of excess labor value the Vulture Capitalist class can extract from each them.

The Progressive gains of the 20th century marked an actual rise for Americans which the Founding of the Nation and the Glided Age of the 19th century kept confined to the owners of the Nation.  And those Owners, the 1%, hate those progressive gains.  Because when the working class is no longer held in the shackles of corporate bondage and wage slavery they go on and create a pluralistic society with broad based protections for workers, the elderly, the afllicted with a chance for future generations to rise above the preceeding.

The Republicans HATE that.  The Republicans want a return to the days when a railway worker losing an arm on the job was kicked off at the next stop and left to fend for himself.  The Republicans want a return to the days when elderly coal miners were glad not to have been killed in an unsafe mine explosion or cave-in so they can instead whither away of black lung disease and die in a pauper's hovel.  The Republicans want a return to the days when medical care, education, pensions, and the prosepct of living and enjoying your golden years was reserved for the Rich.

The Republicans Don't Care and that is the Healthcare law they are passing.

The Republican Don't Care bill has apparently failed.  While it's fortunate the Republicans are as flaccid and incompetent as they are anti-American but, until the Republicans are removed from Congress they won't stop in their efforts to kill the poor and impoverish the working class.

The Blackwaterification of Public Education

Billionaire Betsy DeVos, an ardent enemy of public education, was named by illegitimate President-Elect Trump as Education Secretary.

DeVos is part of the Amway Family in Michigan which has been screwing people over with get-rich-quick Ponzi schemes for decades.

Erik Prince the founder of the Blackwater Mercenary Company, is her brother.

Clearly, we are looking at the Blackwaterification of Public Education in the United States similar to how Erik Prince managed to sell expensive mercenaries (independent contractors) to the Department of Defense and US Military under the Junta of George W(orst President Ever) Bush and Dickless Cheney.

In the same way Prince managed to slice out Billions of dollars allocated towards the DoD, billions in US Taxpayer dollars allocated for education are going to be given to DeVos Style Companies to create private schools (indoctrination camps) which select out of teaching poor, minority, mental disabled children and hire non-tenured, financially vulnerable, unprotected mercenary teachers, who know they will have to advance the David Barton lie filled right-wing version of US History, so more Americans can be duped by conservative propaganda, in order to keep their slightly-better than starvation wages jobs. Meanwhile, Public Schools will be kept around to shove all poor and undesirable students into, while receiving less and less funding every year.

The goal is the destruction of the Democratic Republic and the creation of a Neo-Feudal Wage Slave State in which most Americans are serfs with little to offer than their labor which powerful families weigh against the labor of a poor worker in Bangladesh or the Philippines or Central America.

The Blackwaterification of every facet of the federal Government, i.e. The elimination of the social safety net for a new government aligned to protect and advance the interests of the Rich Elite.

This is what the Koch Brothers see as the true state of man and the natural order of the world. A few quasi-aristocratic families controlling the country, with a neutered federal government selected by the Plutocracy and backed by Blackwater Mercs, ready to enforce the will of the 1%.

From Black to White, the changing face of Drug Addiction and Punishment

Now, that white opioid users have surplanted black people as the face of Addiction, America has begun to experience a change of heart when it comes to Draconian Drug Laws and Sentences.

Before moving on to the body of this post let me note, I am all in favor of decriminalization of a minor drug like cannabis and a pivot on harder drugs towards medical treatment as opposed to punishment. But, it's incontravertable that society's pivot towards treating Opiate Use as a medical illiness instead of as a criminal act is because the weight of the Criminal Laws are now wrecking white people's lives and not just those in black or brown communities.

All of sudden, white people have begun to experience the horrors the 50 years of Republican War on Drugs has wreaked upon minorities. Harsh Punishment used to be reserved for those people. Now, whites get to see their children's futures ruined over minor non-violent drug possession charges.

As an aside, this is why I don't believe in heightening the contradictions, i.e. allowing Donald Trump to assume the Presidency in order to bring about the perfect left candidate. White Working Class People, the base of the Republican Party, were abso-fucking-lutely fine with harsh laws as long as the long-haired hippies were getting the truncheons and blacks were being incarcerated/ruined for drugs.

Now, that those same rules are applied to them? Well, it's time to re-evaluate the War on Drugs!!!

For the last 5 decades, the Republicon Party at the behest of their Plutocratic Owners, have been dismantling the Progressive Gains of the 20th century, the so-called American Dream. At first they started with black and brown Americans because they knew Whites were enjoying the benefits of Liberal Democratic Society and wouldn't say much.

Unlike, the contention the Democratic Party abandoned the white working class 50 years ago, the Democratic Party decided to make good (as best they could) to the promises made to African-Americans and other marginalized segments of society.

Whites who had nearly been the sole benefactors of New Deal Government Programs became irritated, especially as the Republican Party made sure that any gains for minorities would be taken directly from the pockets of the working class, that other people were being aided by those programs.

Nixon, a master politician, understood this back in 1968 and took advantage to win the Presidency,

“The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

Ronald Reagan identified the Government, the one now helping poor blacks, as the problem. Of course, while he demonized welfare queens and steak-eatin' young bucks he was busily dismantling the manufacturing base of America. For blacks in the 1980's the loss of economic opportunity in large cities, was thus replaced with Gangs and Drug-based Capitalism.

The continued Republicon assault on the American Worker and Industry and the transition to a finance-based Capitalism as opposed to manufacturing of the 20th century has reached working class whites.

George W(orst POTUS Ever) Bush attempted to delay the full impact of Republicon Capitalism on American Society by trying to swindle Social Security and dumping a massive influx of capital into the hands of the Vultures on Wall Street, but was defeated. If he had been successful perhaps the Republican Recession of 2007 would have been averted for another decade or perhaps just a few years.

In either case, Bush/Cheney would have been a safe enough distance to proclaim it wasn't demonstrably their fault.

Thus, whites who had already seen their good-paying Union jobs and benefits disappear thanks to right-wing Vulture Capitalism saw their home equity and meager retirement savings vanish into Mitt Romney's Cayman Island Bank Accounts and into 50,000 millionaires secret UBS Swiss Bank Accounts.

So, while we've also witnessed the greatest decline in standard of living and life expectancy for working class white people we've seen those same white people turn to the only thriving industry left in America, Drug Dealing.

Republicans Use Debt as a Weapon (Updated)

"We are enslaving future generations, our children and grandchildren to debt that we are irresponsibly putting on their credit card," Arkansas State Senator Terry Rice said, arguing that accepting federal funding as part of the expansion would add to the national debt.

Time Magazine made the smart decision to put its dumb cover story about the national debt behind a paywall. The premise — the national debt is like household debt and should be considered as if it’s apportioned equally to every U.S. resident — is stupid on its face. But Matt O’Brien has read the thing because nobody else will, and it’s even worse than its premise. When you’re considering a flat tax, it’s not because you care about the national debt, it’s because you think wealth needs to be massively redistributed upwards, with the debt as the tissue-thin pretext.

From time to time Republicans trot out Fix The Debt but, like the 3-card Monte Dealers they are, Republicans never worry about debt when they are in charge of Government. Debt is a shell game Republicons use to distract their duped drones in order to continue their plans of slashing the social safety net and transferring Trillions of Dollars of future Americans Wealth upwards to their Plutocratic Masters.

This is not a new weapon but, like all the Moldy Chestnuts/ Zombie Lies the Republicons promulgate, a new batch of vicious conservatives emerges to pick up the torch to burn the Social Contract.

Back in 2010 as President Obama submitted his plan to help the country escape the Republicon Recession of 2007, the House GOP got together and trotted out the same old sky is falling, Fix The Debt chicanery,

These unsustainable debt and deficit burdens were not imposed upon us by some outside force, they are created by the choice to grow the federal government and spend at unprecedented levels.
Reflecting on his own coming of age in a time of economic turmoil, Ronald Reagan said, “To be young in my generation was to feel that your future had been mortgaged out from under you, and that's a tragic mistake we must never allow our leaders to make again.”
Today, our leaders are again making the tragic choice to mortgage our children’s future.  But there is an alternative, and over the next two days we will share with you how controlling spending, reforming our social safety net programs and lifting the crushing burden of debt will spur job creation and put us back on a sustainable fiscal and economic path.

Invoking the rotted corpse of Zombie Reagan and his Voodoo Economics is a given but, always worth laughing at, since Ronnie Raygun and Daddy Bush ran up $4 Trillion dollars of National Debt in the 1980's, which famously hamstrung President Bill Clinton, and along with the 1994 Republicon Contract on America gave us the worst elements of the Clinton Economy; i.e. The Budget Surplus.

When the Republicons stole the 2000 election, they made their first order to run the deficits back up, steal the Surplus, and pile more Debt upon the American People. Shadow President Dick Cheney in 2002 observed, "Reagan proved deficits don't matter."

Of course, by 2010, Jeb??? Henserling and Paul90X Ryan conveniently left out wherein they and the Republicon Party ran up Trillions in Debt with their foolish and callous taxcut-and-spending and military adventurism. Most dramatically illustrated by the 5 Trillion dollars of debt the Republicons added to National Deficit with their criminal misadventure in Iraq, the open-ended burden treating our wounded Veterans and their families will cost in the next 25-50 years under the dunder-headed leadership of W(orst POTUS in History) and the evil, criminal agenda of War Criminal Shadow President Cheney.

But, Republicons never take responsibility for their actions, they Just Do and let future generations sort out the mess. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality," - Karl Rove.

Thus, when Republicons are in power massive deficit spending is undertaken usually focused on the military and overseas adventurism, but when the Democratic Party is elected to the Congress or Presidency Fixing the Debt! and slashing Spending for the Social Safety Net becomes the only thing a responsible government can do. 

It derailed President Obama during his struggle with the Domestic Terrorists in the Republicon Party. The vicious use of Fix the Debt! to crush the American People was vividly illustrated by Paul90X Ryan's Path to Penury budget during the 2012 election, correctly called Ludicrous and Cruel by Paul Krugman. Of course, as with every action by the Republicon Party the Fix the Debt rhetoric serves their overarching agenda of stealing Social Security, defunding Medicare, and transferring wealth up their Plutocratic Owners, the 1%. It's the raison d'etre for the modern Republicans.

Much of this is predicated upon the fact that the holders of debt are always incredibly wealthy members of the 1%. "Some people call you the elites... I call you my base," - W(orst) addressing his Moneyed Masters.

As such, according to Republican Orthodoxy, Debt Holders must be made whole before the business of government can continue. If this means using the IMF to extract blood money from impoverished Nations to Vulture Capitalists who buy up their debt on the global market, fine. If it means bailing out Casino Hedge Fund Managers who made bad bet upon bad bet in the rigged housing market, building up towers upon foundations of shit until the whole edifice collapsed then so be it.

The Rich need always to be made whole and the Republicons stalk and slice up the Poor and Working Class in order to accomplish it. This is what the Republicons always do when they assume office. Ronnie Raygun's massive deficit spending, W(orst)'s blundering and destabilizing of the Middle East, and his scheme to swindle Social Security right before the Republican Recession of 2007 are designed to build up massive levels of Debt which the Republicans fully intend to extract from the American People.

How Capitalism drives Crime but only dark skinned criminals concern Conservatives

I've left a bigoted rambling comment up on my post about John Wrana's death and the trial of Officer Craig Taylor because it is illustrative of a terrible blight on this nation, How Conservative Bigotry blinds them and thus they focus on only dark-skinned criminals.

Marty King was a communist who cheated on his wife frequently. He was a tremendous advocate for Negro self-sufficiency and a color blind society. So we honor his memory by not working, not going to school etc. But to be honest, I think if Marty was still alive he would commit suicide, if he saw what direction the black community has taken. Lets see all the accomplishment that the blacks have made since Marty King’s days, Black folks has denigrated so very badly, with their stupid music, stupid cloths, pants sagging down and their ass cracks showing, their willing to stand out in the cold at shoe stores for days and nights for a pair of stupid sneakers from a basketball player, Michael Jordan endorsed and made a fortune from, their teenage pregnancies and parent homes, multiple fathers to litters of children drawing welfare checks and food stamps, drinking Booze in the streets and drunk driving, pointless killings, looting and burning down homes and store and calling it “protesting”

When it comes to MLKJr, Right-Wingers are flummoxed. They fervently tried to destroy his image, beliefs and works before and after murdering his body, but have been absolutely unsuccessful so conservatives have tried to co-opt Doctor King as one of them while still believing the John Bircher propaganda.

But, let's focus on the henious lies and ignorant bigotry throughout conservative thinking illustrated by Rational Nauseous; who ascribes crime, food stamps, absentee fathers and teenage pregnancies as something inherent in the black community.

These issues are endemic in all races and cultures. In fact, the overwhelming majority who use food stamps, SSDI and other government assistance programs are "white" people. Currently, white conservatives have convinced themselves they "earned" their medicare, social security benefits and blithely ignore crime and the fraying of society amongst "whites".

As Martin Luther King Jr, observed Rich White Men have always been able to convince poor whites that while they and their children may be sickly, uneducated and broken by poverty at least they're not black.

But, what every Police Officer knows is that poverty and lack of economic opportunities drives much* criminal activity.

We are a full generation into the Ronald Reagan destruction of the American Dream and elimination of the Middle Class. Crimes and abberant behavior once ascribed solely to black and brown communities is becoming common-place amongst whites. Once Republicans destroyed the manufacturing base, transformed the Nation into a service-based economy and eliminated laws and regulations on the Financial Industry they made the bottom quarter of Americans into extraneous persons about whom they care not one jot or tittle.

The Housing Crash and Republican Recession of 2007 showed, Capitalism cares nothing for your belief system and once Glorious Capitalism deems you expendable then you are expendable. This is something African-American, Asian, and Hispanic communities have known for generations.

In some ways the Creation of the Tea Party was a response to Capitalism's evil treatment of the white American Working Class until the Koch Brothers and their Republican Operatives quickly usurped authority and transformed Tea Baggers into a lobbying arm for Plutocratic interests, while ensuring the anger of the white community was transfered from the Destructive nature of Capitalism and Corporate Criminality towards Government and the Social Safety Net.

David Simon, creator of The Wire, Treme and former reporter the Baltimore Sun correctly observed once economic opportunities were taken away so-called drug crime became the only option in minority communities,

"We do not need 10-12% of our population; they've been abandoned. They don't have barbed wire around them, but they might as well." As a result, "drugs are the only industry left in places such as Baltimore and east St Louis" – an industry that employs "children, old people, people who've been shooting drugs for 20 years, it doesn't matter. It's the only factory that's still open. The doors are open. Capitalism has tried to jail its way out of the problem, the prison industry has been given over to capitalism. If we need to get rid of these people, we might as well make some money out of getting rid of them."

           

It is not an inherent criminal nature in black and brown communities it's a systematic denial of the American Dream which fueled much of the crime in those communities.

Now we see Capitalism has throw aside the poor white communities and undermined the Middle Class Dream of White America.

Reclaiming Democratic Values, Championing the Working Class and Making America Great

Most liberals have convinced themselves the disastrous Right-Wing Tea Party policies and outright appeals to hatred and bigtory would send the American Voter fleeing away from the Republicans.

Coupling this with the inevitable march of demographics, Liberals have been blissfully congratulating themselves on their Future Ascendancy and electoral dominance.

But, the belief in Demographic Destiny is a pipe dream. In much the same way Karl Rove spoke of Republican 100-year Reich, the Democratic Party has exuded smug Hubris that all they need do is exist in order to win Elections. As Tim Donovan at Suffolk Resolves wrote, There is no Demographic Destiny.

So, despite Democratic Congressional Candidates winning more votes in 2012, in the aggregate, and the overwhelming support for Center-Left referendums in 2014, Liberals and Democrats are faced with Republican control of the US Senate and Republican dominance of the US House, State Legislatures and Governorships.

But, besides their Hubris and the cashing-in on future voters the Democratic Party's downfall also stems from the free reign the gave to the Republicans to woo the working class white male.

Now, why would the faux populism of the Republican Party appeal to working class white men? There never has been a more implacable foe of the Working Class than the Modern Republican Party.

One of the key beliefs, which I have believed as well, was that Republicans had duped Working Class Whites into voting against their Own Economic Interests. But, is that true? But, is that how the Working Class White Man and Woman sees it? The answer is obviously not.

The perception by the White Working Class is they have been betrayed by the Democratic Party and the new Platform focus on gays, blacks and women.

There is a lot of hindsight going. The PPACA (Obamacare) legislation was beneficial to white people (no caps on lifetime coverage, no pre-existing conditions, for instance) but, because the Conservative Internet Fart Bubble was allowed to frame the rhetoric as Death Panels and welfare for black people, Working Class whites don't see the Democratic Party as their Party or even their ally anymore.

While the Republicans are committed to eliminating the Social Safety net and reducing the vast majority of Americans to Wage Slavery and Corporate Bondage, the white working class sees itself ostracized, shunned and abandoned by the Democratic Party.

It's not true but, as always perception is truth. So, while it's impossible to not see that Republicans are fanatically determined to destroy the Progressive Gains of the 20th century, Working Class people are focused on the now and the immediate future.

Long-term unemployment, millions of foreclosures, crippling personal debts and bankruptcies, the evaporation of savings and retirement accounts, and the crumbling of the country;s infrastructure are taking place as billions in taxpayer subsidies, obscene profits, bonuses and compensation are doled out to the corporate overlords. - Chris Hedges, Death of the Liberal Class, pg.181

Since 2007, after George W(orst President Ever) Bush and the Republican Party crashed the economy the Democratic Party had an opportunity to pivot towards Economic Populism and reclaim the Will of the American People.

But, the Democrats have been caught by the trap laid by the Plutocracy. Unless you are a Senator like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren it's hard to ignore that Money = Campaign = Victory.

Occupy Wall Street offered the Democratic Party another chance to pick up the mantle of Champion of the Working Class. Which is why Plutocracy moved so quickly to undermine and destroy it.

So, the Democrats did not offer any help to people struggling to pay bills, keep their house, take care of aging parents, raise kids, work longer hours and pick up extra jobs. And the White Working Class was forced to choose the least-worst candidate and they are increasingly choosing Republicans.

There is a way to reclaim the white working class and win elections, while also inhabiting the moral high ground and providing the American Voter a government they know is looking out and seeking to protect them.

Senator Bernie Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren are the strong voices promoting Left-Wing Economic Populism. They are devoted to helping the Working Class, safeguarding the Social Safety Net and restoring the American Dream.

Senator Warren has said she is not running for President but, Bernie Sanders has stated if enough Americans, if enough of the 99%, are willing to stand shoulder to shoulder with him he will take on the Koch Brothers and the 1%.

Again there is no Demographic Destiny. If We, the People stand together we can reclaim the Democratic Values which made this Nation Great in the 20th Century.

But, We must act because as Tim Donovan wrote at Suffolk Resolves,

Whichever party first grabs the mantle of economic populism will earn the support of a rising generation fed up with the politics of the moment, a generation wholly unsympathetic to the broken, ineffectual Reagan consensus that’s still so dominant today.

Pension Theft the latest Capitalist Scheme

"Liquidate labor, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate. Purge the rottenness out of the system. High costs of living and high living will come down... enterprising people will pick up the wrecks from less competent people," Secretary of Treasury Andrew Mellon to President Herbert Hoover in 1931.

The politics of Neoliberal Capitalism require the destruction of the wealth and political power of the 99% for the enrichment of the 1%.

Pension Theft is now the latest in the arsenal.

For years Pensions and State Budgets have been underfunded because Corporations have engaged in political shenanigans getting more and more byzantine tax codes which end up with Corporations paying negative tax rates. Now, that the outcome is a "Pension Crisis" those same pensions which were funded only by Working Class people are going to be raided to transfer those monies to Corporations.

During the same Illinois Congressional Session in which Pension Theft was approved, the State Legislators voted to provide more taxpayer subsidies to Corporations. Under SB1, four of the five state pension systems: teachers, university employees, legislators and state government employees will be changed. Judges' pensions will not be affected. Read details and reactions to SB1 here.

This is just the latest salvo in the transfer of working class people's money to the 1%.

Workers have been dutifully making their contributions into the Pension system now the States are going to raid those Pension funds to give that money to Corporations.

For years, State Governments have given taxpayer welfare to Corporate Monsters under the guise of  'Job Creation' while also creating a byzantine tax code which taxes Corporations at 1/100th of 1%, thus the budget deficit caused underfunding of State Pensions.

Two years ago Illinois gave special tax status to Sears and this year Office Max/DePot has used the same gambit to extract a similar special tax exemption status.

Here is what Sears extorted from Governor Pat Quinn in December 2011;

The deal gives Sears tax credits worth $15 million a year for 10 years, which it can use against withheld employee income taxes. The deal also would extend a special taxing district, reducing the company's local property tax bill for another 15 years.

Sears Holding Corporation got a special property tax zone in Illinois. Sears Corporate Headquarters is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Through accounting gimmicks and legerdemain Sears transfers money electronically from other stores in other states into the Corporate HQ special tax zone, those monies will then be listed on the Corporate profit sheet and will be accounted under the special taxation rate. This is known as the Las Vegas Loophole.

For years public-sector workers were paid less than those in the private sphere but, to make up for it public employees bargained for and signed legal contracts for Pensions and other benefits. Ah, but since the 1970's, Capitalists and their Government stooges have sought to undermine the advances of Unions and Progressives in creating living wages and worker protections.

"The standard of living of the average American has to decline." Paul Volcker, Chairman of the Federal Reserve 1979-1987.

The rise of computerization, jet speed air travel, off-shoring of jobs, importing of immigrants, increased participation of women in the workforce ended the Post World War II rise in wages and ushered in the Era of Neoliberal Capitalism.

All of sudden non-public sector employees wages stagnated and began to drop, jobs disappeared, and private pensions withered until they no longer exist at all.

Now, what did the brilliant Capitalists do? As they undercut and downsized their desperate workers, Plutocrats turned around and told workers it wasn't fair teachers still had rising wages and pensions.

Think Tanks set up by Billionaires staffed with right-wing drones and power apologists began to beat the drums, not to increase wages for workers in private companies, but to tear down teachers and other public sector employees,

"We are going to take on education next. Go after the Teachers and the Union organizers." - Andrew DEADbart on Sean Hannity's show, 18 April 2011.

The same right-wing drones who hate Unions, support the elimination of unemployment coverage, food stamps or medicaid, and advocate the abolishment of minimum wage because low-wage workers need incentives in order to work hard, turned right around and defended massive payments to CEOs as necessary to retain the "best and brightest", emergency TARP baillouts and Taxpayer welfare for Oil Conglomerates and decreasing taxes on Corporations in order to entice 'Job Creators'.

Capitalism is coming to it's natural conclusion the destruction and enslavement of the Working Class and a transformation of Nation-States into Neo-Feudalist Wage Slave State.

Capitalists have been working to eliminate restrictions on the flow of capital across borders and to force American workers to pit their labor costs against that of workers anywhere in the World.

No rich person ever created a job. Jobs exist because enough people have a demand for a good or service. A 'Job Creator' might have a fantastic vision of the premier cuneiform writing stylus but all the tax breaks and government subsides to him aren't going to create the demand for his clay tablets.

But, it's not the Republicans and Pro-Business Democrats don't know this, they do, it's that their job as the lap dogs of the Plutocracy to ensure that Tax Dollars are funnelled into the coffers of the 1%.

The End State, here, is a US which provides no protection for workers, which eliminates pesky anti-pollution laws and regulations on Corporate negligence, defends the Right of the Rich to engage in wage thievery and create smaller Government, one just small enough to fit into the pocket of the Plutocracy.

The March of Austerity and the Republican Assault on Americans

Despite whatever you may have heard from various MSM talking heads or across the Blog-o-sphere; the Republican Government Shutdown was a Victory for the Right.

Besides getting more people angry at Government gridlock and become exasperated because Both Sides Do It! the Shutdown was a successful Economic Coup d'Etat. 

The $24 billion lost during the government shutdown wasn't "wasted". It was permanently stolen from the Working Class. That money is going to have to come from somewhere and don't think for a second that it'll come from taxes on the Rich or Sequestration cuts to the DoD.

The Plutocracy has been using the DoD and US military to conduct the biggest grift in World History. Trillions have been stolen from the American People

As an example in 2004 the US Army adopted a digital set of Cammies, dubbed the Universal Camoflauge Pattern (UCP). Well now less than 10 years later the Army has revealed that the UCP is totally flawed, completely ineffective and shoddily constructed. The UCP was beset with flimsy materials, ridiculous velcro and a worthless "everywhere" color scheme which blends in nowhere; so they'll need to be replaced. 

Hoo-Ah! Another $5,000,000,000 President Bush and Vice-President Cheney stole from the US taxpayer. And it'll cost another $5 Billion to replace them, most likely with a Go Army version of the MARPAT USMC digital cammies.

But, happy day! Guess what? The Republicans recently "found" $4.1 Billion which they cut from SNAP in their 2013 Farm Bill. The Republicans neatly stole food from the mouths of children, the elderly and disabled veterans and shuttled it to the Military-Inudstrial-Complex.

Recall that George W(orst President Ever) Bush's stated his biggest regret while in office was his failure to Privatize Social Security. If Bush had succeeded in moving Social Security to Wall Street,  circa 2005-2006, it would have forestalled the Republican Grand Recession and allowed the bubble economy expand for another couple of years before exploding. Of course, Social Security would have vanished into so many Plutocrats Cayman Island and Swiss Bank Accounts, and with the Collapse happening after Bush left office, Austerity pushing Republicans would have been able to enforce deeper cuts to the Social Safety net.

When Ron Fournier and other Conservatives bemoan and tsk-tsk President Obama's "failure to yield" E.J. Dionne correctly deduced that what conservatives are pouting about is President Obama's failure to adopt Republican goals of increasing taxes on the Middle Class while cutting them on the Rich, slashing and dismantling Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and every government program designed to aid the Poor and Working Class.

There is an Ultra-Reactionary assault on America. The Republicans are the Shock Troops of the Plutocracy enforcing all manner of Neoliberal Economic doctrines and leading the Charge for Austerity. What the Republicans and their Moneyed Masters want is a reduction in the standards of living of Americans. They want the Working Class too tired to organize, too timid to speak out and too afraid to fight back.

The New York Times notes the Koch Brothers Americans for Prosperity Non-Think Tank has spent millions “in states around the country, including Arkansas, Florida, Ohio, Louisiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania, to run the kind of aggressive campaign that it is now waging here in Virginia, where much will depend on the governor’s race.” 

Spending millions of dollars to keep 40+ million Americans without healthcare coverage isn't a fight for freedom it's a fight to crush the American Dream and turn the American people into defeated Wage Slaves.

The Right-Wing Neoliberal Government the Plutocracy wants in America will offer no help to the Working Class, it will allow the Plutocrats to pay the Working Class less and less, offer them no benefits and threaten any who dare speak out against them. And most importantly it will allow the Rich to steal more and more of the Wealth of Nations.

Post World War II, Winston Churchill told the United States, that England could no longer shoulder the Burden of the Empire on Which the Sun Never Set and passed the torch to America.

Since then in the proceeding years the United States engaged in their own version of Victoria's Little Wars in far away locales.

But, yesterday the Republican Party decided there's no reason we should not emulate other elements of 19th Century England.

217 Republicans voted to slash SNAP by $40 Billion over the next 10 years. Nothing says Statesmanship like sticking it the Poor and Hungry.

"We only want to cut 5 percent. That ought to leave more money getting to the hands of the people who do need it,” Republican Congressman Andy Harris.

The Poor in this country have no power and no representation in the Government. To be Poor is to be excluded from the American Dream and doomed to Corporate Servitude.

It's another brilliant play by the Republicans and their Elite Plutocratic Masters. By slashing but, not outright eliminating SNAP the Republicans don't make the 99% desperate.

Because starving and desperate equals dangerous but, undernourished and scared equals docile.

The Ultra-Reactionary Right Wingers are ascendant. In all facets of American Life, the Plutocracy and Oppressive Right are making strides and advancing the cause of Wage Slavery and Neo-Feudalism.

They don't even have to make the cursory arguments about the necessity of Capitalism as they once did as the viscous Income Inequality we have been subjected to in the past 35 years has surpassed even the Gilded Age of the Robber Barons.

No longer do they need to claim the rising tide will lift all boats and some wealth will trickle down. Now, the Plutocracy and their crotch-sniffing Republican Guard Dogs simply go about dismantling any aspect of Government which helps the 99%.

Heroes of the Second Amendment to Arms! Gun Rights under siege in Illinois!

You have nothing to lose other than your shackles of Government Tyranny...

Even though a Dastardly Veto attempt by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn was defeated resoundingly by the Illinois Legislature Gunowners are still not able to "legally" Conceal Carry in Illinois.

Concealed Carry Permits have a 6 month backlog followed by a 90 day waiting period imposed by the Illinois State Police. So, permits for Concealed Carry will be in effect in Jan 2014 at the earliest.

And now Governor Quinn has signed into law more restrictions on Gun Owners in clear violation of the Holy Second Amendment.

Beginning Jan 1, 2014, private gun sales must undergo Federal Background Checks. Additionally, Gun Owners must notify Police of a Theft of their Firearm within 72 hours of it occurring. That sounds like a regulation!!! What part of Shall Not Be Infringed doesn't Governor Quinn understand?!?!?

I can already read the furious supporters of Unrestricted Gun Violence screeching, 'These laws are only going to be followed by law-abiding Gun Owners. Criminals won't do either!' Of course, that's true... So what's the point of having laws? Thieves and Burglars still steal despite laws against it.

Gun Owners often derisively claim Chicago has the most restrictive gun laws and the most gun murders. Of course, they ignore the facts surrounding the actual guns used in commission. The vast majority of which (59%) come from outside Illinois.

One of the unintended consequences of the Gun Manufacturers decision to flood America with over 300 Million Firearms are the totally irresponsible storage and handling by Gun Owners.

Gun Owners leave loaded firearms willy-nilly, often found and discharged by children. Hotheaded responsible gun owners wave them about or display them in a similar manner to chimps and other apes do a genital display. And firearms are one of the top three items stolen from homes.

Another Second Amendment Hero in Florida murders 6 people with his guns before SWAT takes him out and the disgusting yahoo commenters howl the original story didn't include the murderers race because that's whats most important.

A Hero of the Second Amendment took his Rights into his Own Hands when his 1st and 4th Amendment Rights were violated and murdered a dastardly City Bureaucrat and two others bystanders for trying to trample his Gun Rights.

A Gun Hero in Virginia will be forever remembered for his sacrifice. After being unjustly yelled at my ruffians while exercising his rights to speed freely through a school zone he brandished his weapon but was wounded when replacing it in his pants by shooting his balls off.

The preponderance of evidence clearly shows More Guns has not equaled More Safety. Story after story of hotheaded gun owners pulling their pieces in situations not warranted so the sobriquet An Armed Society is a Polite Society is a monstrous piece of propaganda.

I could type this post everyday. But, what's the point? No one reading this is going to change their views on guns and 4 year olds are still shooting themselves in the head because of the disgusting availability of firearms in this Nation.

Evidence doesn't work. Satire doesn't work. Outrage doesn't work. The Unrestricted Gun Violence Lobby has won this day. Hopefully, the members of the next American generation will learn from our mistakes and change the  future into one where children aren't held hostage to the murderous whims of Gun Makers, the NRA and madmen.
