Even though it's Summer - ICE never left.
Every time I start trying to finish this post about ICE and their unconstitutional actions, their wildly unlawful use of force violations, and horrific treatment of people in the United States a new story about the depravity and viciousness of this organization comes to light.
The news story about the electro-shock gauntlets garnered a lot of social media attention and interaction.
I saw less coverage of the fact ICE and the Private Prison Industry are making billions from Traitor trump's fascist regime,
America's two largest private prison companies, CoreCivic and GEO Group, are reporting a combined $1.4 billion in quarterly revenue over the spring as immigration detention closes in on record levels.
Those revenues announced Thursday do not include net proceeds of $1.6 billion made by CoreCivic after the recent sale of four of their facilities to the Department of Homeland Security. Patrick Swindle, CoreCivic's President and CEO, told investors on an earnings call that that works out to an average rate of $307,000 per bed.
The earnings — from April through June of this year — come as the U.S. is holding almost 66,000 people in immigration detention, nearing record levels not seen since January, according to Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, a nonpartisan research center. Both companies say they're also finding other revenue opportunities, like ankle monitors for Haitian immigrants who recently lost their protected immigration status.

Read any news story showing ICE acting with impunity and with tacit and explicit support of this government and you will see so many racist whites get orgasmic satisfaction at seeing brown people suffer. Whites in the United States are more than willing to suffer all the greed, theft, corruption, failure overseas, and cons from Traitor trump because he's giving them so much torture porn.
Not even the slightest pretense of due process or constitutional rights and if you ever unluckily find yourself in a "debate" with one of these violent rightwing drones they simply claim "Illegals" have no rights.
I've pointed out many times on this blog that white people view Hispanic or Latino peoples (and of course, all black people) as a priori guilty of crimes. It's how Traitor trump, Just Despicable Vance, and their bevy of podcast propagandists are allowed to speak of immigrants in terms of blaming all of them for the actions of one or a few. Think back to how many times a Republican will scream the name Laken Riley to demonize every person with a last name ending in S or Z. And every right-winger on-line has ready made "lists" of illegal immigrants ready to spam any Facebook post decrying the actions of ICE.
This Collective Guilt is then used as a defense mechanism by rightwingers to justify all manner of mistreatment and unlawful acts done by the government and its' agents against anyone meeting the Republican criteria of "illegal immigrant". Additionally, white people abrogate their innocence when they protest the actions of ICE thus deserving their fate and deaths at the hands of these untrained are therefore justified.

And now we find out after ICE Agents murdered Daniel Perry in the most clear cut violation of 2nd Amendment rights in modern US History, Department of Homeland Terrorism infiltrated and began collecting "intel" on groups to try and prove their fevered dreams of a broader country-wide "Antifa" Network;
Federal agents with the Department of Homeland Security sent undercover agents to observe a climate group and into churches, and obtained financial records for labor unions, as they sought to crack down on mass protests in Minneapolis following the Trump administration’s surge of federal officers into the city, attorneys alleged in a new filing.
The effort began in earnest four days after federal agents shot and killed Alex Pretti. On Jan. 28, Homeland Security Investigations, ICE’s investigative arm, started what it called “Operation Puppet Master,” the filing says. That investigation was targeted at “an organized network of conspirators operating through online and in person who are providing material support to violent opportunists and agitators involved in impeding federal law enforcement, rioting, destruction of Federal property and assaults on Federal agents and Officers.”
Much of this is just the most egregious and well-known incidents. There are thousands of people being treated inhumanely and being buffeted cruelly about in the gears of this concentration camp machine Stephen Miller and Vance and other members of the criminal traitor trump administration have pushed into overdrive;
Beata Siemionkowicz spent her first night in Kentucky’s Campbell County Detention Center in a cell with black mold covering the air vents and dead bedbugs lingering in the room’s corners. There was blood smeared above the doorway.
Siemionkowicz shared that pod with 60 other women, many of whom, like herself, were immigrants in the United States detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
The Poland native, a green card holder of more than two decades, was arrested days earlier in Des Plaines. Her first night in Campbell County was Aug. 4, 2025. She has remained incarcerated in northern Kentucky since, for the last 51 weeks.
There's thousands of cases like this. And no your rightwing uncle doesn't know about them. And no even if you point them out he'll simply say this case or that one are tragic and he's sure it'll be sorted out and maybe they deserve it for "breaking the law" and besides which it pales in comparison to the millions of brown rapists and murderers trump is getting out of the country because Joe Biden let them all in to replace white people.
I'm not trying to spread doom and gloom and depress the efforts of the incredibly brave people protesting or fighting these cases in court. But, my feeling right now is most of the agents in the field will face no repercussions and of course the Architects of this monstrous machine will get off scot free as well as being lauded for decades by rightwing propagandists. But, I am gladdened to see an occasional ICE Nazi get convicted for his criminal actions.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent on Wednesday pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of battery for throwing a protester to the ground while he filmed the agent on his phone.
Adam Saracco, 41, entered the plea during a court appearance in Maywood and was sentenced to one year of supervision.
Saracco is thought to be the first and only immigration agent charged in Cook County in connection with conduct toward protesters and civilians during Operation Midway Blitz.
