The Full Romney (Ann wears the pants in the Family)

Ann Romney wears the big boy pants in the family. Mitt only gets to sashay around in his Harvard-embroidered special underwear.

Besides making fun of the fit and fabulous Michele Obama Right-Wingers claim she dominates Barack, that Michelle is making the decisions, that she commands the President, oh and also that Michelle Obama is fat, ha ha ha! [See my post: Of Derrières, Jim Sensenbrenner, and Conservative Racism] So it would seem incongruous that Mitt Romney is sending out his wife to do his campaign work for him.

Ah, but here is where the Oppressive Misygonist Republicans reveal themselves. Mitt sends out Ann to talk to women, and she reports to him. As Amy Davidson reported in The New Yorker, Mitt said;

She says that she’s going across the country and talking with women, and what they’re talking about is the debt that we’re leaving the next generation and the failure of this economy to put people back to work. She says that she talks to women and they’re concerned about the jobs that their kids are going to get.

Last Tuesday on Fox News, Mitt was asked what he will do to reach out to women;

I’ve had the fun of being out with my wife the last several days on the campaign trail. And she points out that as she talks to women, they tell her that their number one concern is the economy.

Note that Ann can fill her specific role as supporter and go-between Mitt with women, to talk to them about Hearth and Home but that's it. And that's the subtle difference the Right is going to try to make between Ann and FLOTUS Michelle Obama. The Right is gearing up this performance to play to the bigoted stereotypes that feed their wretched voting base and this hearkening back to earlier days when America was great and blacks and women knew their place, is prime meat.

But, the Right-Wing is clever and what Mitt's advisors are doing is properly setting up Ann Romney to properly draw in female voters for him. But, remember we're never going to see The Full Romney because of the gross excesses and outlandish expenditures of the Harvard educated elitist out-of-touch Romney's would shock so many of the struggling conservative voting base as to cement an electoral landslide for Barack Obama.

The Incessant Whining of the Rich - It's Only Class Warfare When We Fight Back Edition

It's unclear which is worse Mitt Romney's intent on pretending to be a Regular Middle Class American or his obtuse speeches which highlight just how out-of-touch he is with 299 Million Americans.

Blue Collar Comedy Creator Jeff Foxworthy chimed in with his support of Everyman Mitt Romney and his anger at President Obama,

"Obama's just divided people, into the 1% and the 99%. But it's these people, the successful people, who've given other people a great life. And if you've ever been around Romney, you know he's not entitled. He carries his own suitcase."

I suppose I could make a "You might be a..." joke here but, that's Jeff's "comedy routine".

Let's note that Jeff Foxworthy has about $116,000,000 in assets. So, he's a solid member of the 1%. Now, mind you he isn't "worth" anything, but voting for Out-of-Touch Mitt is good business sense, since Vulture Mitt has promised to raise taxes on the poor while lowering them on the Rich.

But, did you notice how Foxworthy has it exactly backwards? He, like Vulture Mitt, hasn't given anything but shit to people. Hardworking people have given them everything.

But, Rich Assholes are going to be Rich Assholes. As always the Class Warfare cries emerge when Poor people tell the filthy falsely entitled Rich the free ride on the backs of the Taxpayer are over.

Kenneth Griffin, self-described as "a Reagan Republican", gave an interview to Melissa Harris for the Chicago Tribune wherein he cried about how awful Billionaires have it in this Nation and how the evil Government should stay out of Wall Street's business.

"I spend way too much of my time thinking about politics these days because government is way too involved in financial markets these days," he said.

Griffin loved the Reagan and George W(orst President Ever) Bush Presidencies where Republicans allowed financial thieves to engage in legerdemain and gambling with the knowledge that if the bubble ever burst the Republicans would get the Taxpayers to cover their losses. Ironically, in the interview, Griffin was asked why he resists a Casino in downtown Chicago,

Q. There's some people who will see a lot of irony in that given the speculation that takes place in the financial industry.

A. I think there's a huge difference. Gambling is entertainment. We have great destinations for that, like Las Vegas. Just not in Chicago. Financial markets, what one often refers to as speculation, is really the force by which we move capital to the best and highest use.

Q. So do you or don't you think the public should know if you're giving this money?

A. This is a very sad moment in my lifetime. This is the first time class warfare has really been embraced as a political tool. Because we are looking at an administration that has embraced class warfare as being politically expedient, I do worry about the publicity that comes with being willing to both with my dollars and, more importantly, with my voice to stand for what I believe in.

The Malignant Falsely Entitled Rich in this country are beyond galling. They've completely divorced themselves from the Rest of the Country, do naught but destroy and fatten themselves on the economic carnage they create and yet continue to claim some special status.

Celebrity Chef Mario Batali agreed to pay out $5.25 million to his former employees to settle a class-action lawsuit. According to the article,

Batali and the other owners of the eateries unlawfully skimmed four to five percent of the staff's wine or alcoholic beverage sales from the tip pool, taking an unlawful "tip credit," paying staff members less than the minimum wage, and failing to provide "spread-of-hours" pay -- that is, extra pay when a double shift extends over a certain number of hours in the day.

The lawsuit encompasses staff members who worked at the restaurants from July 22, 2004 to February 14, 2012 -- a group that numbers approximately 1,100.

Restaurant critic Jonathan Gold said this won't damage Batali's image in the industry because he's such a gifted chef. If Batali had been stealing from investors he'd be joining Bernie Madoff in prison but, in America stealing from the Poor and Working Class is called Capitalism.

Meet the Elitiest Out-of-Touch Romneys!

Mitt Romney is going to be the Republican Nominee for President. The Oppressive Totalitarian branch of the Right-Wing gnashed their teeth and tried for a Perry/Bachmann/Gingrich/Santorum Coup but, ultimately the Elitiest Out-of-Touch with America Plutocrat branch of the Party will win out*.

While much focus has been on the disgusting bag of misogynistic gutter trash and right-wing shit known as Rush Limpballs, Mitt, Ann and the 5 Romney Boys have been illustrating their nonchalant, tone deaf, Out-of-Touch, 1%, snobbish ignorance.

Mitt Romney is still trying his, 'I'm a regular guy' routine which is so infuriating the Teahaddist conservatives.

In Michigan Romney tried to connect with the Americans he heartily wanted to be fired in his Magnum Opus 'Let Detroit Go Bankrupt'. Thinking that they way to connect to middle class and Michigan voters was to talk about American cars, Romney imagined the cheapest car brand he could think of and said, "I drive a Mustang and a Chevy pickup truck. Ann drives a couple of Cadillacs, actually."

However, Romney wasn't finished! In an effort to appeal to the Drive Fast Turn Left fans, Romney was asked by an AP reporter if he follows NASCAR. Mitt Out-of-Touch Romney responded, "Not as closely as some of the most ardent fans. But I have some great friends who are NASCAR team owners."

Not to be outdone Ann Romney decided to reach out to poor and struggling Americans with her own personal story of hard times in the Republican Recession, "I don't even consider myself wealthy, which is an interesting thing."

Now, Faux News was attempting to show the storng side of Ann Romney as she struggles with MS, a terrible burden and not something to ridicule say as Rush Limpballs did to Michael J. Fox and his illness. However, Ann is incredibly wealthy and according to her she "has horses in every port" to help her spiritually and physically deal with her illnesses.

But, she's also part of the Republican Plutocracy which is fighting with every fiber of their being to make sure Medicare, Medicaid and SSI disability insurance are taken away from the Millions of Americans who need it to help them deal with their medical issues.

As I wrote back in a blog post in August 2009, If you were Wealthy, You'd be Healthy, this is merely part of the Greedy One Percent which holds,

Hey poor people? I've got some bad news for you... It's your own fucking fault you're poor. And because you are poor when you get sick well too fucking bad.

The Healthcare Reform debate is rooted in the idea the poor are that way due to their own failings, their lack of moral fiber. If god or nature wanted the poor to be wealthy and healthy they would be, but since they are not well then... It's Pre-Destination, Calvinism, Social Darwinism and Welfare Queens again. It's the Myth the Rich got that way due to their inherent merit... And why should the best and brightest, The Rich, pay for your pre-ordained immorality? Indeed forcing the Meritorious Rich to pay for the Poor is the height of evil as Michele Dump Bachmann stated "This is Slavery".
