The Democratic Party in Illinois moves to protect Waterways & Wetlands

 Last year, the scummy SCOTUS ruled that the US Constitution and Clean Water Act aren't valid because the Supreme Six Injustices deem it to be so.

The fact the Clean Water Act was 50 years old or the that the first legal cases decided by the old SCOTUS dates back 200 years ago, or that the right of the Federal Government to regulate waterways is written into the very Constitution is irrelevant;   The Scummy Supreme Six Injustices are aligned with the rapacious Rich and those who despoil the Nation.

The Clean Water Act of 1972 survived decades of litigation from opponents seeking to limit the authority of federal agencies like the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to regulate the Waters of the United States, typically referred to as WOTUS. Before the wetlands decision, the Supreme Court upheld the definition of WOTUS to not only include navigable bodies of waters but also adjacent wetlands with meaningful hydrological connections. 

For over a decade, Michael and Chantell Sackett, an Idaho couple, challenged this definition before the Supreme Court twice. In 2004, they bought a lakeside property with the plans to build a home on the site. The couple began excavation without applying for the appropriate permitting to develop on top of a wetland and the EPA stopped the project. 

Last May, in a 5-4 ruling, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Sacketts.

You might have missed this ruling seeing as the Reactionary Court has been pushing through all manner of regressive bills designed to return the United States to its' Roots as a Slave Owning Kleptocracy built upon white supremacy and fundamentalist hyporcisy but, the Injustices financial backers and benefactors also have a eye on undermining any regulation which stymies their ability to despoil the land, strip it of it's natural beauty and reap the financial rewards.

All the meanwhile, leaving behind a shattered wasteland to be inherited by the meek.

Fortunately, here in Illinois we have a Democratic Legislature which will not simply turn the rivers, lakes, streams, and wetlands over to rapacious billionaires to do with as they wish.

In response to another unjust overreach by this Court, Illinois State Senator Laura Ellman introduced a New Act 30 ILCS 105/5.1015, the Wetlands and Small Streams Protection Act:

to restore protections for wetlands and small streams that were formerly protected from pollution and destruction by the Clean Water Act. Provides provisions concerning: exemptions; wetlands delineation, classification, notification, permits and veto; general permits; appeal of final decisions made by the Department of Natural Resources and judicial review; investigation and enforcement; and county authority. Creates the Wetlands and Small Streams Advisory Committee and establishes duties and rules for the Committee. Creates the Wetlands and Small Streams Protection Fund. Provides for permit review fees. Defines terms. Makes conforming changes in the State Finance Act and the Illinois Environmental Protection Act. Effective immediately.

Marshes, bogs, ponds, streams, and other waterways are not things to be drained, damned, or reclaimed but integral pieces of a functioning landscape, a refugee for wildlife, and repository of natural beauty.

But, the 1% won't be satisfied with the massive gains they've made over the rest of America; the Rich want it all, which is why they know if they put Trump back into power they'll be able to finally eliminate the Middle Class, end the American dream, and shackle the American people into perpetual wage slavery and bondage.

The Supremacist Court and Republican Party 2022: End Women's Suffrage - Start Women's Suffering

It isn't theoretical anymore.  The prospect of women being in excruciating pain and dying from complications from pregnancy is precisely what Republicans want women thinking about.

Capitol Fax posted fallout for women in the states surrounding Illinois.  The idea that a woman comes into a Hospital needing emergency services but, Doctors are too afraid to treat her for fear of Republican zealots coming for them financially, rhetorically, and physically shows what Republicans have in store for Us all eventually but, also and most importantly what is happening Right. Damn. Now.

Kristi Noem was interviewed by Martha Raddatz, and for once a Corporate Media did not let a vile Republican Governor elide answering questions.  Raddatz pointed out South Dakota now has a total ban on abortion including all cases in which the fetus is unviable and the women will die.  Raddatz continued that South Dakota has no assistance or post natal care and Noem, in her dead eye stare kept talking about how her state would walk with mothers and touted the website they created to help.  Noem then unknowingly admitted that non-profits and churches would be tasked with most of the help.  But, it was Noem's loaded phrase she does not "anticipate" South Dakota will take up proposals that incentivize residents to report women suspected of seeking or aiding in abortions which was most chilling and indicative of the fascist future.

This is an exercise in sheer naked aggression and power.  Very much in line with the Rape-publican Party 

Also, now comes the time when the so-called Originalist Court and the rightwingers who falsely profess to adore and cherish the Constitution to throw out the Freedom of Movement clause.  Republicans are going to pass legislation that the unique nature of abortion (especially since it infringes on their religious liberty) necessitates the need to create internal border checkpoints, that women seeking to travel outside their states need to show proof of negative pregnancy test (ha take that libtards just like your Covid restrictions!) and empowers them to curtail 200 years of legal reasoning and ruling with regards to freedom of movement. 

Then it's only a matter of time until the Puzzi Alito Court looks at 1920 Womens' Suffrage as being incompatible with the Originality of the Constitution and "not deeply rooted in the Nation's history and traditions."  In fact, let's take a direct statement from Alito Dobbs unjust ruling and change 3 words;

• “The inescapable conclusion is that a right to women's vote is not deeply rooted in the Nation’s history and traditions. On the contrary, an unbroken tradition of prohibiting women's voting on pain of criminal punishment persisted from the earliest days of the common law until 1920.”

Today, The Supremacist Court just ruled to curtail the EPA.  If you think the Republicans will stop you're deluding yourself.  The Republicans feel emboldened, they know they can blame Biden for everything, they can act with impunity because they have the Police Forces across the Country to "dispassionately" enforce the Supreme Court's Will (i.e. Officers festooned in their best Judge Dredd regalia beat, tase, and gas unarmed women under the guise of law&order), while Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Ben Shapiro, Jonathan Turley, and any number of skeevy on-line trolls will feed buckets of lies and obfuscate furiously to keep conservatives placid, fat, and happy that they are Owning the Libs.  They've been yearning for this moment and are enjoying every single second. 

Republicans are coming for every right to self determination for the poor and oppressed, every progressive gain to curtail the rapacious Corporate domination of the USA, and every protection from the power of religious bigotry and oppression.  They are coming for it all.  And the Republicans won't stop until this is a White Power Theocratic Slave State again.

The Great Resignation vs. The Amazon Edwardsville Disaster (Update)

“I also want to thank every Amazon employee and every Amazon customer because you guys paid for all of this.” - the wages of American Capitalism are death...

It's been 110 years since the Triangle Shirt Waist Factory disaster.  After revising initial fears of hundreds of trapped employees it appears the Edwardsville Amazon disaster will thankfully not reach that level of tragedy.  Of course, this is scant comfort to the families of the 6 thus far confirmed killed.

I know everyone loves Amazon but, it certainly seems like Jeff Bezos' new fangled Fulfillment Wage Slavery is just a retread of the old 19th century sweatshop variety.  Hopefully Jeff Bezos can eventually get around to addressing the families of his dead employees, whom he so recently thanked, instead of wistfully staring off into space.

Unbelievable. Amazon unable to account for Employees trapped inside.  Employees denied cell phones to ensure they don't take 5 minutes out of their time fulfilling orders to waste scrolling twitter or Facebook. Did Amazon have a nice carve-out on building regulations which allow their "warehouse" to be regulated under different building codes and safety regulations (h/t Naked Capitalism) than an office buildings or retail space?

Walls on both sides of the building collapsed inward and the roof fell down. Officials say the concrete walls were 40 feet tall and about the length of a football field.

Now Republicans hate Bezos because he doesn't do what Rich people are supposed to do; i.e. aid the Republicans in enforcing oppression and intolerance.  However, Bezos does believe in enshackling the American People into perpetual, unending Corporate Bondage so that is a saving grace for Amazon.

I don't know what the future of work for Amazon or in general will look like nor the fate of cities.  But, the Great Resignation coupled with the abandonment of office work looks to entail a massive restructuring of American work life.  Would it be on par with the Industrialization and the creation of metropolis?  Or the near doubling of the workforce post-World War 2 with women entering the workplace en masse?  I don't know and I don't think anyone else does.

More people getting paid for overtime work sounds great, but... Speaker Paul Ryan illustrates how more money for American Workers is bad because when Americans are financially secure they vote for a Democratic Socialist Government but, when reduced to penury by Republican policies they elect reactionary Republicans.

One of the most pernicious lies promulgated about President Obama's tenure was he did nothing for the working class. President Obama's National Labor Relations Board and head of the Department of Labor Tom Perez, increased protections and aggressively defended workers while punishing employers who conducted wage theft.

President Obama and his Labor Department passed regulations changing the ceiling mandating overtime pay but, a Federal Judge in Texas held up the overtime rule back in December. Now, traitor Trump and his Department of Forced Labor will undo it completely as well as undercutting American workers on several other avenues.

Under the President Obama's Department of Labor rules, salaried employees earning less than $47,476 annually would have automatically received overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week, double the current $23,660 ceiling. More than 4 million workers would have earned an estimated extra $12 billion over the next decade. As Vice President Joe Biden correctly noted last year, "It is based on a simple proposition. If you work overtime, you should actually get paid for working overtime."

This, of course, enraged Republicans, who responded with predictable Pavlovian frothing at the mouth fury. Actually, paying workers is antithetical to the Republican Party.  Trump especially doesn't pay people who work for him, as thousands of contractors and former FBI head James Comey found out.

In many ways Traitor Trump, is a bog standard Republican, he hates paying workers and uses the awesome power of the Federal Government to ensure he doesn't have to. The Republican Plan to screw over workers works like this; an employee works 60 hours (20 hours overtime) but instead of being paid time-and-a-half, the 20 hours goes into a bank of compensated time (CT), which theoretically the worker could use as paid time off or as pay at the end of the fiscal year. What really happens is the CT builds up for years and the employee never gets time off and never gets paid.

But, Trump and his Forced Labor Department are just getting started.  In addition, to making overtime an unpaid "benefit" of working in the U.S.  The Department of Forced Labor is also set to do the following:

• Trump's proposed budget includes a 20 percent cut to Labor Department funding, but not all areas as the Office of Labor-Management Standards, which investigates conducts witch hunts against in private-sector unions is set to receive a 22 percent increase.
• Eliminating the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces rule, which barred companies from receiving federal contracts if they had a history of violating wage, labor or workplace safety laws. 
• Rescinding the Persuader rule, which would have required law firms to publicly disclose any work they do for employers surrounding union busting and anti-union organization efforts.
• Curtailing OSHA efforts to improve worker safety by delaying tightened exposure standards for silica, which is often breathed in by certain construction workers and linked to lung disease; and lower workplace exposure limits for beryllium, an industrial mineral linked to lung cancer.

And they are just getting started.  Traitor Trump and the Respublikanskaya Partiya have a message to 99% of Americans; You have No Friend in Government.  Welcome back to the Era of Forced Labor and Slavery.

Joe Biden was right as usual when, in 2012,  he stated, "We got a real clear picture of what they all value. Every Republican's voted for it.  They're going to put y'all back in chains."

Governor Bruce Rauner's Turn Around and Screw Working Class Illinois Residents Agenda

Illinois is now facing the prospect of having gone an entire year without a proper state budget as Bruce Rauner (Ruiner) continues his efforts to subjugate and enslave Illinois workers.

For the last week, vehicle emissions test facilities have had lines backed up for miles. Well, I can tell you anyone going to an emissions test station today is going to wait hours and some of the overworked stations are closing because of mechanical problems. When was the last time Ruiner had to go and get his own vehicle registration? When was the last time Ruiner put on his carhartt jacket and drove his truck for a vehicle emissions test?

My job is never "off". I've worked New Year's Eve, St. Patrick's Day, multiple Christmases, and every other holiday you can think of. I don't regularly get normal holidays off. I've had to work overnight shifts and then work parades a couple hours later. I've gone to court at 26th and California on my off days. I don't have luxury time that a man of leisure like Bruce Ruiner does.

Of course, Ruiner doesn't care. He's on a mission to balance the Illinois budget on the backs of the working class. He's on a mission to sabotage the Illinois Government and then proclaim Government doesn't work. He's on a mission to swindle more pension funds from those people he's already stolen so much from. Like all Plutocrats he's on a mission to turn the government into an unresponsive body which only caters to the whims of other Plutocrats.

So, if this screws over working class people, makes them irritated, causes them to miss work, or incur fines from the State, Bruce Rauner chalks that up as a win. Because the more government is hamstrung, the more the Illinois residents believe "government" doesn't work, the more the Chicago Tribune covers for Rauner, the more leverage he has to push through his agenda of turning the Illinois Worker into a Wage Slave.

Republicans Use Debt as a Weapon (Updated)

"We are enslaving future generations, our children and grandchildren to debt that we are irresponsibly putting on their credit card," Arkansas State Senator Terry Rice said, arguing that accepting federal funding as part of the expansion would add to the national debt.

Time Magazine made the smart decision to put its dumb cover story about the national debt behind a paywall. The premise — the national debt is like household debt and should be considered as if it’s apportioned equally to every U.S. resident — is stupid on its face. But Matt O’Brien has read the thing because nobody else will, and it’s even worse than its premise. When you’re considering a flat tax, it’s not because you care about the national debt, it’s because you think wealth needs to be massively redistributed upwards, with the debt as the tissue-thin pretext.

From time to time Republicans trot out Fix The Debt but, like the 3-card Monte Dealers they are, Republicans never worry about debt when they are in charge of Government. Debt is a shell game Republicons use to distract their duped drones in order to continue their plans of slashing the social safety net and transferring Trillions of Dollars of future Americans Wealth upwards to their Plutocratic Masters.

This is not a new weapon but, like all the Moldy Chestnuts/ Zombie Lies the Republicons promulgate, a new batch of vicious conservatives emerges to pick up the torch to burn the Social Contract.

Back in 2010 as President Obama submitted his plan to help the country escape the Republicon Recession of 2007, the House GOP got together and trotted out the same old sky is falling, Fix The Debt chicanery,

These unsustainable debt and deficit burdens were not imposed upon us by some outside force, they are created by the choice to grow the federal government and spend at unprecedented levels.

Invoking the rotted corpse of Zombie Reagan and his Voodoo Economics is a given but, always worth laughing at, since Ronnie Raygun and Daddy Bush ran up $4 Trillion dollars of National Debt in the 1980's, which famously hamstrung President Bill Clinton, and along with the 1994 Republicon Contract on America gave us the worst elements of the Clinton Economy; i.e. The Budget Surplus.

When the Republicons stole the 2000 election, they made their first order to run the deficits back up, steal the Surplus, and pile more Debt upon the American People. Shadow President Dick Cheney in 2002 observed, "Reagan proved deficits don't matter."

Of course, by 2010, Jeb??? Henserling and Paul90X Ryan conveniently left out wherein they and the Republicon Party ran up Trillions in Debt with their foolish and callous taxcut-and-spending and military adventurism. Most dramatically illustrated by the 5 Trillion dollars of debt the Republicons added to National Deficit with their criminal misadventure in Iraq, the open-ended burden treating our wounded Veterans and their families will cost in the next 25-50 years under the dunder-headed leadership of W(orst POTUS in History) and the evil, criminal agenda of War Criminal Shadow President Cheney.

But, Republicons never take responsibility for their actions, they Just Do and let future generations sort out the mess. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality," - Karl Rove.

Thus, when Republicons are in power massive deficit spending is undertaken usually focused on the military and overseas adventurism, but when the Democratic Party is elected to the Congress or Presidency Fixing the Debt! and slashing Spending for the Social Safety Net becomes the only thing a responsible government can do. 

It derailed President Obama during his struggle with the Domestic Terrorists in the Republicon Party. The vicious use of Fix the Debt! to crush the American People was vividly illustrated by Paul90X Ryan's Path to Penury budget during the 2012 election, correctly called Ludicrous and Cruel by Paul Krugman. Of course, as with every action by the Republicon Party the Fix the Debt rhetoric serves their overarching agenda of stealing Social Security, defunding Medicare, and transferring wealth up their Plutocratic Owners, the 1%. It's the raison d'etre for the modern Republicans.

Much of this is predicated upon the fact that the holders of debt are always incredibly wealthy members of the 1%. "Some people call you the elites... I call you my base," - W(orst) addressing his Moneyed Masters.

As such, according to Republican Orthodoxy, Debt Holders must be made whole before the business of government can continue. If this means using the IMF to extract blood money from impoverished Nations to Vulture Capitalists who buy up their debt on the global market, fine. If it means bailing out Casino Hedge Fund Managers who made bad bet upon bad bet in the rigged housing market, building up towers upon foundations of shit until the whole edifice collapsed then so be it.

The Rich need always to be made whole and the Republicons stalk and slice up the Poor and Working Class in order to accomplish it. This is what the Republicons always do when they assume office. Ronnie Raygun's massive deficit spending, W(orst)'s blundering and destabilizing of the Middle East, and his scheme to swindle Social Security right before the Republican Recession of 2007 are designed to build up massive levels of Debt which the Republicans fully intend to extract from the American People.

In 2016, Jeb! Bush would like Women and Old People to go away while Republicans hope to bring back Slavery

Jeb! is very angry his brother, forever known as the Worst President in American History, only destroyed a few hundred thousand American Families. So, John Ellis Bush is going to do to Millions of Americans what his brother did to Millions of Iraqis.

Jeb! like all Republicans, is mad the Government helps the Sick and Old, "as it relates to Medicare" Jeb! believes "we need to figure out a way to phase out this program for others and move to a new system"...

Now, Jeb! as the heir apparent is setting his Party's sights on hurting Women as well, because he and the Republican Party are "not sure we need half a billion dollars for women's health issues".

2016 is their chance. A Republican President can secure the Supreme Court for another 25 years. Add in their gerrymandered Congressional Districts securing them more Representatives with less votes, they can enshrine unfair voting practices. And the stage will be set.

Because Republicans see 2016 as the time when they can finally murder the New Deal and grind Working Class Americans into crushing Poverty and Wage Slavery. With Jeb! or some other Plutocratic Drone in the White House, the Republicans will transition Social Security into Wall Street hands, were it will be slowly siphoned off until one day there will be no more SSI, at least for old and disabled people, Vulture Capitalists like Mitt Romney will enjoy the Billions swindled from Americans.

Jeb! or the other Right-Wing hatchet man elected President will phase out Medicare until one day Republicans can simply tell sick and dying elderly people to clip coupons and line up for discount healthcare coverage day while, Americans are denied medical coverage every other day of the year.

The meager food assistance and medicaid provided currently for Poor Americans? Eliminated completely. Sick Days? FMLA? Holidays? Weekends? Gone. Gone. Gone. Gone. Gone...

A Republican President in 2016 will turn back America 200 years, to those glorious days of Bondage. American Workers will be crushed into Penury, worked harder than Medieval Serfs and treated as poorly as Chattel. 

Republicans are always screaming Slavery! Slavery! Slavery! during election ads and debates. The reason it so readily comes to their mouths, is because it is on the forefront of their minds. The Republican Party's goal is nothing less than recreation of Slavery. 

When Republicans talk about taking America Back, the America they want to take us back to is one in which a group of insanely wealthy individuals made vast fortunes by stealing generations of labor and years of wealth.

Vicious Conservatives have broken the Social Contract in order to shred the Social Safety Net

The Guard Dogs of the Plutocracy, the Republican Party in the 114th Congress are tasked with destroying the Holy Grail of the Social Safety Net, Social Security. Thus, they immediately took up the task of swindling the 99% out of their earned benefits by setting disabled Americans against elderly Americans.

By the end of 2016, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, which benefit 11 million disabled Americans, will be facing a budget hole, so of course, the Republicans are using this opportunity and their Congressional control to change the way funds are transferred between Social Security to SSDI. The Republican changes demand any transfers to Disability funds must be accompanied by benefit cuts or tax increases.

Republicans have no problem using Legerdermain and chicanery to accomplish the goals of their Rich Masters. Vicious Conservatives are out to swindle Social Security in order to remove any hope of help for poor retired Americans or those unable to work due to injury and illness.

"Our preference has always been that the depletion of the DI trust fund become the impetus for comprehensive Social Security reform," Ed Lorenzen, senior advisor to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

Vicious Conservatives, their Libertarian "intellectuals" and Republican Masters seek nothing less than the return of the Feudal System in which Corporate Monsters like Duke Energy, AmWay and Koch Industries are in charge of huge swaths of the Nation-State beholden to no government, constrained by no regulations and free to crush the working class under the iron heel of wage slavery and corporate bondage.

Right-Wingers readily go along with this because they no longer see a compact with their fellow Americans. They've been conditioned to view 47% of their countrymen as moochers. They've been lead to believe Republicans will stop "those people" from stealing Social Security. They'd rather Let'em Die.

But, Republicans can not tell their duped right-wing drones that they are actually out to destroy Social Security entirely, including for them, so they lie about saving it and return to the tried and true method of warning them of "fraud".

Congressman P90X Ryan who benefited from Social Security as a teenager, when his father died, wants to pull the Ladder Up and make sure it isn't there for poor Americans but, doesn't want to be known as the Granny-Starving Congressman, so the Ways and Means Chairman sent his sub-chairman Republican Representative Sam Johnson to proclaim SSDI is "fraud-plagued",

"This program cannot afford more fraud. It is only a matter of time when Congress may be asked to bailout this program with the retirement side having to come to the rescue. If that is the case then all taxpayers and beneficiaries will shoulder the crime wave."

The crime wave? Ridiculous. What Republicans think is a crime is that Poor and Working Class people have protections from Vandal Capitalists. So, they are fervently working to remove that protection.

Without any Government protection, you and your fellow working class members will have No Shield from rapacious capitalists who see no country and no countrymen. To them there are only assets and liabilities.

So what are you going to do when Koch Industries dumps 4000 tons of Petcoke on your doorstep? Whom will you turn to for assistance when a pipeline bursts and floods your drinking water with sweet, sweet crude oil? How will you eat when Social Security is declared insolvent after the next Wall Street implosion? What hopes for redress will you get when Obamacare is repealed and you're denied medical care for your pre-existing condition?

You will have none; just as the Republican Lap Dogs of the 1% intend. Getting rid of Social Security and having their duped vicious Conservative drones aid them will help the Republican Party shackle Americans with the chains of Wage Slavery.

Republicans War on Women is part of a Larger Whole

"I’m sorry, but to show the world how ruthless these people are, women needed to be the first ones shot." - Richard Mack, former Arizona Sheriff and Founder of the Domestic Terrorist Organization the Consititutional Sheriffs, bravely putting is women and children out in front of himself during the Nevada Right-Wing Uprising.

The All-Out Assault on Women by Right-Wingers is part of a larger whole; the Conservative effort to abolish a Government by the People and for the People. Republicans and Conservatives want a Government for the Plutocracy. As such, Republicans have declared War on 99% of Americans with the goal of creating a Neo-Feudal Nation, where the Right-Wing Values of Oppression, Intolerance and Adulation of the Rich are enshrined.

Republicans are in office to impoverish the 99%, ensure further Income Inequality, and transfer Wealth and Control of this Nation to the Rich.

The last month has seen a deluge of Republican efforts at keeping women second-class citizens. The amount of despicable crud emanating from Republicans is almost too much to recount. However, here are few highlights.

Phyliss Schflay has been fighting against women for 40 years. As a living fossil, her occasional Eagle Forum op-ed is picked up by Right-Wing sites. Schflay's latest is the ridiculous assertion that women should strive to earn less in order to attract a man who earns more.

Another fact is the influence of hypergamy, which means that women typically choose a mate (husband or boyfriend) who earns more than she does. Men don’t have the same preference for a higher-earning mate. 

While women prefer to HAVE a higher-earning partner, men generally prefer to BE the higher-earning partner in a relationship. This simple but profound difference between the sexes has powerful consequences for the so-called pay gap. 

Suppose the pay gap between men and women were magically eliminated. If that happened, simple arithmetic suggests that half of women would be unable to find what they regard as a suitable mate. 

Obviously, I’m not saying women won’t date or marry a lower-earning men, only that they probably prefer not to. If a higher-earning man is not available, many women are more likely not to marry at all. 

The best way to improve economic prospects for women is to improve job prospects for the men in their lives, even if that means increasing the so-called pay gap.

This is just stupid as well as being sexist. Perhaps, Phyliss enjoyed not working a regular job because the family she married into had money and she could focus on dominating Ronald Reagan, crushing the Women's Libber Movement and defeating the ERA but, my grandfather always told me it was just as easy to love a woman with money as it was a woman without.

Of course, an ideological generation of women have sprung up to plague us, cut from Schflay's Bosom.

Over at Faux Business, blondish Spokesmodel Melissa Francis told Alan Colmes and the other blondish Faux Spokesmodel that while the gender-wage gap doesn't exist, the gender wage gap was the reason more women kept their jobs during the Republican Recession,

I would also point out that men lost jobs at two and a half times the rate as women in this last recession. I know plenty of families where the man is now out of work and the woman is the one who's working full time. Probably because she makes a little less, so she was able to keep her job.

In the United States Senate, every Republican voted against the Paycheck Fairness Act defeating it's passage. But, one might note the Republicans are a minority in the US Senate holding just 44 seats out of 100. Fortunately, those 44 Republican Bureaucrats have long ago turned the US Congress into the Polish Sejm of the 18th century, where the objections of merely one Republican is enough to derail the legislative process.

Of course, debate is the natural enemy of Republicans because it forces them to actually say what they believe and what Republicans believe is American Workers should be earning less money with fewer benefits while receiving no assistance from Government.

However, should a Republican be forced to verbalize their odious principles it is especially, pleasing to Republicans and their Masters are when they trot out one of their Right-Wing Stepford Women to mouth their ideology.

CongressMAN Marsha Blackburn (caught by Steve M. over at No More Mister Nice Blog), took umbrage... UMBRAGE! I Say! with the idea of the Republican War on Women,

"I find this war on women rhetoric almost silly,” Congressman Blackburn insisted. “It is Republicans that have led the fight for women’s equality. Go back through history! And look at who was the first woman to vote, to get elected to office, to go to Congress, four out of five governors. We're all for Equal Pay!" 

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha then blamed Obamacare! Blackburn's silliness is part and parcel of the Republican belief in sympathetic magic, Saying So makes it So.

One of the ways Republicans claim to support women is by trotting out token women like Marsha Blackburn.

American Women are expected to see the "success" of a Blackburn, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann or any right-wing woman and experience vicarious feelings of accomplishment through these vessels.

Afterwards, the woman should subsume her desire to succeed and support the flabby, overweight, white male Republican Party

But, speaking of women Republican Governors and getting back to the Larger Whole, Governor Mary Fallin of Oklahoma signed a bill prohibiting cities in Oklahoma from raising the minimum wage or establishing paid vacation days or sick days. 

This shows, of course, how Republican love using the awesome power of government to crush women and the working class and puts paid to the lie that Republicans believe in small government or local control. 

Equal Pay for Equal Work should be a goal of everyone in this Nation, a Nation of supposed Equality under Law. But, the 1% don't want Equality they want Total Domination.

Keeping women's pay and benefits down is just a part of the larger whole. The Owners of the Republican Party have tasked them to crush the Working Class and eliminate the Middle Class. Thus every Republican will always vote against anything which aids women or the 99%.

The Capitalist Job Creators see the American Worker as an unnecessary expense. With the aid of Neoliberal Economics, Job Creators have off-shored jobs, insourced illegal immigrants, stolen pensions, lowered wages, slashed benefits, and rigged the tax code to undermine and crush Workers.

All of the blather is just window dressing, Job Creators would love to create jobs in the United States. It's just they want to create jobs which pay you a nickel an hour with no lunch or bathroom breaks and zero benefits. Those are the kind of jobs the Republicans can get behind.

Until then the Republican Assault on Women as a branch of the Republican War on 99% of America shall continue.

The SCOTUS McCutcheon Ruling empowers the Koch Brothers and Plutocracy to Buy the Republic

"These five justices are working night and day to make the wealthy and powerful more wealthy and more powerful. The Supreme Court is paving the way toward an oligarchic form of society in which a handful of billionaires like the Koch brothers and Sheldon Adelson will control our political process." Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

The Supreme Court took another step in transforming the United States of America into a Neo-Feudal Oligarchy with the McCutcheon Ruling. The Roberts Court in a 5-4 ruling decided Elections can bought outright and cheaply, as they slowly build towards 2016: The Year the Plutocracy Rules.

As the Power of the Plutocrats has grown in the last 35 years of Neoliberal Piss Down Your Back and Tell You It's Raining Prosperity Reaganomics, the 1% has grown more vocal. While most of their nefarious schemes remain hidden from the public via PACs and phony 501(c)(4) organizations they've felt more and more comfortable telling the 99% to look forward to Wage Slavery.

Just a day after Paul Ryan revealed the latest Republican Death to the Poor Budget, Charles Koch wrote an op-ed to explain his worldview. Of course, Charles Koch sees the problem as the plebeians daring to criticize him, Rather than try to understand my vision for a free society...

As always Mister Koch, we do understand "your vision for a free society" which is why Our Voices are getting louder and louder and why Plutocrats, such as yourself, are getting shriller and shriller.

Charles Koch and his despicable brethren know their Oppression is intolerable and making the 99% desperate, so the Plutocrats tell their Media Lap Dogs that Opposing the Will of Plutocracy equals Kristallnacht and then call those whom they Oppress, Nazis.

Peppered with language swiped from his father's John Birch Anti-Commie screeds, Charles Koch goes on to decry "Collectivists" and blame "The System", while invoking Arthur Schopenhauer and Saul Alinsky.

Of course, Charles Koch blames it all on Obama, The central belief and fatal conceit of the current administration is that you are incapable of running your own life, but those in power are capable of running it for you. This is the essence of big government and collectivism.

Like, all scoundrels, Charles Koch swaddles himself in the Bosom of America. Those in power fail to see that more government means less liberty and liberty is the essence of what it means to be American. Love of liberty is the American ideal.

This screed is the supersonic whine of a rich entitled plutocrat. What Charles Koch means by Liberty is the Freedom for him to rule a Section of the Nation as his own little Fiefdom as a Landgrave, accountable to no one who, along with his fellow Plutocrats, chooses the Government and ensures those chosen do nothing but, enforce the Will of the Rich.

Medicare? Don't need it. Social Security? Not necessary. Food Stamps? Collectivism! To Charles Koch and his ilk, Government exists only to quell domestic dissent and expand overseas business opportunities; everything else is "Unconstitutional". Charles Koch desires nothing less than a return to brutal Feudalism.

Now, Plutocrats however can't rule without a Guardian Class, empowered to attack the Enemies of Inequality and the Opponents of the 1%; Enter the Republican Party.

The Sole Purpose of the Republican Party is to ensure the 1% get Richer while the rest of us are ground into perpetual Wage Slavery and unending Corporate Bondage.

The day after Koch's Declaration of Neo-Feudalism, Republican Senator Jerry Moran took to the floor of the US Senate to genuflect before Charles Koch and read his op-ed into the Congressional Record.

"It seems to me the things that are outlined in Mr. Koch’s opinion piece are certainly within the wide mainstream of American thought..." and " I wanted to share one of Koch Industries owner’s beliefs about those values and his philosophy and how it affects Americans today,"

During CPAC 2014 in March, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann thanked god for David Koch and declared RICO laws should be used against those who speak out against the Koch Brothers,

"I just thank god that there’s a billionaire or two on our side. I hope we get a few more that are willing that come out but realize also this is an intimidation movement, I’m sure that the donors on our side don’t like to have their names vilified and that’s what this is about, intimidating people from giving money to our cause, that’s it. There’s something called the RICO statute, the racketeering law, that should be applied against them for doing this."

Meanwhile, other Republicans are engaged in a slander campaign of Senator Harry Reid. Not debating his viewpoint but insinuating that he has suffered a mental breakdown or is drunk or on drugs.

Republicans exist to guard and increase the Vast Wealth of the Rich at the expense of everyone else.

The odious Newt Gingrich, a viciously racist miserable political failure famous only for cheating on two wives while trying to impeach President Clinton for cheating on one, took to the Sunday Morning talk Circuit to bask in the beauty of the McCutcheon Ruling. Gingrich went further and declared,

"Candidates should be allowed to take unlimited amounts of money from anybody and you would overnight equalize the middle class and the rich."

In its majestic equality, the law forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, beg in the streets and steal loaves of bread. Anatole France, 1894. Sheldon Adelson can give a million dollars to Gingrich or Christ Christie and so can you!

Meanwhile, Republicans have adopted the Kochtopus approach of attacking the Working Class on multiple fronts to crush the 99% and enforce brutal Koch Feudalism. Republicans want to give Companies time to delay Union vote because Republicans use the Awesome Power of the Government to aid the Rich in crushing Labor.

Republican Congressman John Kline of Minnesota and Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee introduced legislation requiring the NLRB let 35 days pass after employees file a petition before they are allowed to vote on forming a union. 

Because Companies might need extra time to threaten workers against Unionizing, bring in Armed Forces to ensure the proper votes are cast and give Republicans time to interfere in the Free Market as Senator Bob Corker, Tennessee Governor Haslam and State Republicans did against workers trying unionize a VW factory.

Republicans don't care about the American People. They are solely in office to succor, defend and protect the Plutocracy. Medicaid eliminated, Medicare eviscerated, Social Security Swindled, Unions abolished, The Working Class impoverished, higher education made unaffordable, laws applied unequally, Plutocrats buying elections, Corporations telling you what you can spend your earnings on and what you can do with your free time, these are ancillary benefits of the Brutal Koch Feudalism, Republicans are pushing upon the Nation.

Arizona's Gay Jim Crow Law and other States efforts are about using religion to enforce Bigotry

"Freedom of religion doesn’t mean freedom from religion." - Rick Perry, current Governor of Texas, 2012 Republican Presidential Primary Candidate and 2016 Presidential Hopeful. 

"I think this administration has a very narrow view of the First Amendment, that first freedom, the freedom of religion. I think they see religious freedom as fine with it as long as it’s in the four walls of a church. But if it comes into workplace, the marketplace, if it comes into the public square, it’s not welcome." Family Research Council Tony Perkins complained in 2013. Of course, this is entirely correct, what you do in your church or home is fine but, forcing your religion onto someone in the public arena is not welcome or lawful.

Homosexuality is an abomination before GOD and man.  The Bible states this in plain English! - (emphasis as in the original) standard comment by a conservative in response to the pushback of right-wing efforts to get Discrimination codified into law as well as, highlighting Tea Party ignorance.

I wasn't going to address the Arizona Gay Jim Crow Law, but after Jan Brewer vetoed the bill the Right-Wing Wurlitzer of Outrage kicked into gear.

Ben Shapiro, the inheritor of Breitbart's Empire of Lies and Bigotry, wrote indecipherable tweets which all culminated in a cry of Fascism.

Racist Limpbaugh blathered something or other about bullying on his odious radio program. Bryan Fischer and other rabid right-wingers complained of the "Homo-Fascism" using the power of government to make the faithful engage in sin. The conservative reaction is predictable because these bills speak to the very core of what it means to be a Conservative.

Judson Phillips, of Tea Party Nation, warned of the incoming tyranny of Penis cakes. But, Judson did hit upon the key issue at play;

The issue can be boiled down to one word: Freedom.
A free man or woman controls their labor. A slave has no control over their labor. A free man or woman decides who they will work for and under what conditions. The slave cannot.

In December of 1865, the several American states ratified the 13th amendment, constitutionally ending involuntary servitude in the United States. In the 21st century, Americans are coming full circle. In a number of states, a black man can again be forced by the government to work involuntarily for a white man.

The Arizona SB1062 Law along with the other legislation proposed by rabid Right-Wing Legislatures are fundamental extensions of two core components of conservative ideology; Oppression and Intolerance. While also being tangentially related to the third core component, Adulation of the Rich.

These laws are very much about Freedom. They are designed to give conservatives the freedom to impose their religious beliefs on you, while also granting them the freedom to openly discriminate while operating in the public sphere.

But, they don't want you to know that's what their doing so they couch their bigotry under the guise of religious liberty.

These laws are backed by the same people that want to give business owners the ability to decide what medical care you are allowed to receive and how you spend your earned wages.

Recall they made the same bogus "religious liberty" argument during their evil struggle against the PPACA. So, if a Business Owner doesn't believe in blood transfusions or antibiotics because of his sincere religious beliefs conservatives want to give them the right to deny you that medical coverage. If a Business Owner doesn't consume pork, conservatives want to give them the right to ensure you aren't spending your wages on bacon.

Because conservatives believe in and want a return to Slavery. Republican voters are comprised of Bigots and Billionaires, Misogynists and Millionaires so Corporate Bondage and Oppression brought about by the awesome power of government euphemistically crouched under the guise of religious liberty suits both demographics.

Of course, the only reason Brewer vetoed this law and Republicans in Arizona began to back-track was financial. Apple and several other businesses voiced concerns over doing business in Arizona and the NFL not so discretely implied the 2015 Super Bowl would be moved from Arizona if the law was adopted.

So, Conservatives are inadvertently being honest when they claim this issue is actually about Freedom. Conservatives hate Freedom and what they seek is nothing less than an abolition of Freedom, Democracy and Liberty and an enshrinement of the Ultra-Reactionary Neo-Feudalist Wage Slavery State.

Pension Theft the latest Capitalist Scheme

"Liquidate labor, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate. Purge the rottenness out of the system. High costs of living and high living will come down... enterprising people will pick up the wrecks from less competent people," Secretary of Treasury Andrew Mellon to President Herbert Hoover in 1931.

The politics of Neoliberal Capitalism require the destruction of the wealth and political power of the 99% for the enrichment of the 1%.

Pension Theft is now the latest in the arsenal.

For years Pensions and State Budgets have been underfunded because Corporations have engaged in political shenanigans getting more and more byzantine tax codes which end up with Corporations paying negative tax rates. Now, that the outcome is a "Pension Crisis" those same pensions which were funded only by Working Class people are going to be raided to transfer those monies to Corporations.

During the same Illinois Congressional Session in which Pension Theft was approved, the State Legislators voted to provide more taxpayer subsidies to Corporations. Under SB1, four of the five state pension systems: teachers, university employees, legislators and state government employees will be changed. Judges' pensions will not be affected. This is just the latest salvo in the transfer of working class people's money to the 1%.

Workers have been dutifully making their contributions into the Pension system now the States are going to raid those Pension funds to give that money to Corporations.

For years, State Governments have given taxpayer welfare to Corporate Monsters under the guise of  'Job Creation' while also creating a byzantine tax code which taxes Corporations at 1/100th of 1%, thus the budget deficit caused underfunding of State Pensions.

Two years ago Illinois gave special tax status to Sears and this year Office Max/DePot has used the same gambit to extract a similar special tax exemption status.

Here is what Sears extorted from Governor Pat Quinn in December 2011;

The deal gives Sears tax credits worth $15 million a year for 10 years, which it can use against withheld employee income taxes. The deal also would extend a special taxing district, reducing the company's local property tax bill for another 15 years.

Sears Holding Corporation got a special property tax zone in Illinois. Sears Corporate Headquarters is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Through accounting gimmicks and legerdemain Sears transfers money electronically from other stores in other states into the Corporate HQ special tax zone, those monies will then be listed on the Corporate profit sheet and will be accounted under the special taxation rate. This is known as the Las Vegas Loophole.

For years public-sector workers were paid less than those in the private sphere but, to make up for it public employees bargained for and signed legal contracts for Pensions and other benefits. Ah, but since the 1970's, Capitalists and their Government stooges have sought to undermine the advances of Unions and Progressives in creating living wages and worker protections.

"The standard of living of the average American has to decline." Paul Volcker, Chairman of the Federal Reserve 1979-1987.

The rise of computerization, jet speed air travel, off-shoring of jobs, importing of immigrants, increased participation of women in the workforce ended the Post World War II rise in wages and ushered in the Era of Neoliberal Capitalism.

All of sudden non-public sector employees wages stagnated and began to drop, jobs disappeared, and private pensions withered until they no longer exist at all.

Now, what did the brilliant Capitalists do? As they undercut and downsized their desperate workers, Plutocrats turned around and told workers it wasn't fair teachers still had rising wages and pensions.

Think Tanks set up by Billionaires staffed with right-wing drones and power apologists began to beat the drums, not to increase wages for workers in private companies, but to tear down teachers and other public sector employees,

"We are going to take on education next. Go after the Teachers and the Union organizers." - Andrew DEADbart on Sean Hannity's show, 18 April 2011.

The same right-wing drones who hate Unions, support the elimination of unemployment coverage, food stamps or medicaid, and advocate the abolishment of minimum wage because low-wage workers need incentives in order to work hard, turned right around and defended massive payments to CEOs as necessary to retain the "best and brightest", emergency TARP baillouts and Taxpayer welfare for Oil Conglomerates and decreasing taxes on Corporations in order to entice 'Job Creators'.

Capitalism is coming to it's natural conclusion the destruction and enslavement of the Working Class and a transformation of Nation-States into Neo-Feudalist Wage Slave State.

Capitalists have been working to eliminate restrictions on the flow of capital across borders and to force American workers to pit their labor costs against that of workers anywhere in the World.

No rich person ever created a job. Jobs exist because enough people have a demand for a good or service. A 'Job Creator' might have a fantastic vision of the premier cuneiform writing stylus but all the tax breaks and government subsides to him aren't going to create the demand for his clay tablets.

But, it's not the Republicans and Pro-Business Democrats don't know this, they do, it's that their job as the lap dogs of the Plutocracy to ensure that Tax Dollars are funnelled into the coffers of the 1%.

The End State, here, is a US which provides no protection for workers, which eliminates pesky anti-pollution laws and regulations on Corporate negligence, defends the Right of the Rich to engage in wage thievery and create smaller Government, one just small enough to fit into the pocket of the Plutocracy.

Capitalism is impoverishing and despoiling America.

The increasing unemployment. The transformation of the United States from a manufacturing powerhouse to a service-based industry. The creation of a economy built on the hedge-fund gambling, legerdemain and chicanery of Banking Institutions. The destruction of the Appalachian mountains for strip mining, the wholesale dumping of thousands of tons of petcoke in poor Chicago and Detroit neighborhoods are the end product of Capitalism.

For years Americans enjoyed the "benefits" of Capitalism as wage slaves in third world nations made products and corrupt banana republics gleefully exported their natural resources for Corporate exploitation.

But, while Labor Unions were shedding their blood and generations of Americans fought for better working conditions benefits and pay here at home, Capitalists were fighting back.

Prior to the modern age, Capitalists employed two basic weapons, illegal immigration and off-shoring of jobs. The Rich are fully in support of illegal immigration because it imports workers who are willing to do jobs here in the United States for lower pay, no benefits and if something happens to them those workers have little recourse or legal options.

But, Capitalists have also fought for years to break down barriers across Nation-States to make capital liquid, because once capital can flow freely then labor can be completely undercut.

NAFTA, CAFTA and the Trans Pacific Partnership are efforts by the 1% to be able to move their capital quickly and without restraint and to "create jobs" where costs are the cheapest. The 'Job Creators' touted by Republicans have no connection to the United States and see no difference between a Mexican worker, an Indonesian worker or an American. To the Job Creators whomever they can pay the lowest pay up to and including outright slavery is the "best".

Those manufacturing jobs currently in China and various third-world wage slave dictatorships are not coming back to the US. Until the day when US labor costs less than that overseas, worker protections are eliminated and anti-pollution regulations are stricken from law by Republican operatives.

What Libertarians and free-marketers don't understand and can't believe is one day they will be treated by Capitalism, the way Capitalism has treated the rest of the world.

And that is Capitalism; it's the impoverishment and enslaving of 99% of the world to enrich 1%.

The March of Austerity and the Republican Assault on Americans

Despite whatever you may have heard from various MSM talking heads or across the Blog-o-sphere; the Republican Government Shutdown was a Victory for the Right.

Besides getting more people angry at Government gridlock and become exasperated because Both Sides Do It! the Shutdown was a successful Economic Coup d'Etat. 

The $24 billion lost during the government shutdown wasn't "wasted". It was permanently stolen from the Working Class. That money is going to have to come from somewhere and don't think for a second that it'll come from taxes on the Rich or Sequestration cuts to the DoD.

The Plutocracy has been using the DoD and US military to conduct the biggest grift in World History. Trillions have been stolen from the American People

As an example in 2004 the US Army adopted a digital set of Cammies, dubbed the Universal Camoflauge Pattern (UCP). Well now less than 10 years later the Army has revealed that the UCP is totally flawed, completely ineffective and shoddily constructed. The UCP was beset with flimsy materials, ridiculous velcro and a worthless "everywhere" color scheme which blends in nowhere; so they'll need to be replaced. 

Hoo-Ah! Another $5,000,000,000 President Bush and Vice-President Cheney stole from the US taxpayer. And it'll cost another $5 Billion to replace them, most likely with a Go Army version of the MARPAT USMC digital cammies.

But, happy day! Guess what? The Republicans recently "found" $4.1 Billion which they cut from SNAP in their 2013 Farm Bill. The Republicans neatly stole food from the mouths of children, the elderly and disabled veterans and shuttled it to the Military-Inudstrial-Complex.

"The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat," Republican Stephen Fincher of Tennessee.

Recall that George W(orst President Ever) Bush's stated his biggest regret while in office was his failure to Privatize Social Security. If Bush had succeeded in moving Social Security to Wall Street,  circa 2005-2006, it would have forestalled the Republican Grand Recession and allowed the bubble economy expand for another couple of years before exploding. Of course, Social Security would have vanished into so many Plutocrats Cayman Island and Swiss Bank Accounts, and with the Collapse happening after Bush left office, Austerity pushing Republicans would have been able to enforce deeper cuts to the Social Safety net.

When Ron Fournier and other Conservatives bemoan and tsk-tsk President Obama's "failure to yield" E.J. Dionne correctly deduced that what conservatives are pouting about is President Obama's failure to adopt Republican goals of increasing taxes on the Middle Class while cutting them on the Rich, slashing and dismantling Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and every government program designed to aid the Poor and Working Class.

There is an Ultra-Reactionary assault on America. The Republicans are the Shock Troops of the Plutocracy enforcing all manner of Neoliberal Economic doctrines and leading the Charge for Austerity. What the Republicans and their Moneyed Masters want is a reduction in the standards of living of Americans. They want the Working Class too tired to organize, too timid to speak out and too afraid to fight back.

The New York Times notes the Koch Brothers Americans for Prosperity Non-Think Tank has spent millions “in states around the country, including Arkansas, Florida, Ohio, Louisiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania, to run the kind of aggressive campaign that it is now waging here in Virginia, where much will depend on the governor’s race.” 

Spending millions of dollars to keep 40+ million Americans without healthcare coverage isn't a fight for freedom it's a fight to crush the American Dream and turn the American people into defeated Wage Slaves.

The Right-Wing Neoliberal Government the Plutocracy wants in America will offer no help to the Working Class, it will allow the Plutocrats to pay the Working Class less and less, offer them no benefits and threaten any who dare speak out against them. And most importantly it will allow the Rich to steal more and more of the Wealth of Nations.

Getting the Working Class to enslave itself

The 1% have been incredibly successful at convincing a significant segment of the United States to abrogate their rights and accept less. Those they have not convinced to accept the chains of corporate bondage and wage slavery they get their Republican Attack Dogs to marginalize and demonize.

Thus while most Americans have at best tread water as the Nation attempts to come out of the Great Republican Recession America's Moneyed Masters have increased their share of the Nation's Wealth. Because 90% of Wall Street stocks and dividends are owned by the Richest Americans, Capital Gains and deferred income and the Housing recovery for mansions has allowed the top 1% to appropriate 22.5% of all income earned in 2012 while over 50% went to the top 10%.

A Rising Tide drowns those in lower part of the torn social safety net first, while their money and benefits float up those safely ensconced on top of the backs of the Working Class.

This is not some new phenomenon but the work of 30+ years of Neoliberal policies. Faced with the victories of the Labor Movement, and the rise of the secure Working Class, the Plutocracy reorganized and began their Counter-Offensive.

"The standard of living of the average American has to decline." Paul Volcker, Chairman of the Federal Reserve 1979-1987.

And with the elevation of President Ronald Reagan, the mentally-addled, terrorist-loving, cut-and-run, chickenhawk, tax-raising, war criminal to the Presidency we entered an era of Ultra-Reactionary Domination of the Nation.

The Ultra-Reactionary Neo-Feudalist dream state is one in which Child Labor Laws are abolished (see Republican Senator Mike Lee and Newt Gingrich), in which SNAP benefits are eliminated, in which the Clean Air and Water Act of 1972 is stricken from U.S. Law and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce gets taxpayer welfare for Foreign Oil Conglomerates while Working Class Americans tax relief is voted down.

So, while the Chamber of Commerce fights to destroy the Social Safety Net they receive $236 million from the Koch Brothers to craft legislation ensuring Middle Class taxes are rerouted as Corporate Welfare winding up in bank accounts in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland.

And this is what the duped and battered conservative voters don't understand. The Koch Brothers message of Smaller Government is one which fits inside their breast pocket; to be brought out to destroy Unions, quash Domestic Dissent and viciously open up Foreign Markets for exploitation.

The Neo-Feudalist Plutocracy uses many avenues of approach in their Class War to subjugate and oppress the American populace. Fix-the-Debt is one of the most insidious. The same CEOs who have made Corporations "profitable" by stealing worker's pensions and slashing company overhead by eliminating American jobs and factories while voting themselves massive multi-millions are behind the push to steal Social Security benefits and ensuring that no future American can count on either pensions or social security.

Right-Wing Think Tanks employ Libertarians as the intellectual puppets of the Plutocracy. They exist to proclaim the Good News of Free Markets and Personal Liberty but their true purpose is to get the Working Class to fasten the chains of Wage Slavery upon themselves.

And how do they do this? By Divide-and-Conquer. The CATO institute continually pushes the meme that Poor families have it too good in the US and list all the possible assistance programs in existence and pushing ancedotal stories which are picked up by Republican Congressmen about men built like brick-shithouses eating lobster. Of course, the CATO "study" always acknowledges, in small footnotes, that a majority of poor people don't actually benefit from the programs,

Due largely to the fact that eligibility requirements have already become harder to overcome, these programs are helping fewer poor families get by. In 2009, around three out of four poor families with kids weren’t getting any TANF benefits. At the height of the economic crash, about 25 percent of those eligible for food stamps weren’t receiving them; during better times, that number hovers around 40 percent. And as the CATO study concedes, six out of seven poor families aren’t getting housing assistance.

But, those points are always ignored by the duped Right-Wingers who want to, and need to believe that America is the Land of Opportunity and it's only the lazy poor and evil Government programs keeping them down.

And that is the Goal of the Plutocracy to sow division amongst the 99%. So, that one day soon Americans will wake up and realize that we are enslaved in Corporate Bondage.
