Kyrsten Sinema: Party of One

All through the day I me mine, I me mine, I me mine

Shocking no one Krysten Sinema has left the Democratic Party and registered herself as an Independent. 

“I’ve registered as an Arizona independent. I know some people might be a little bit surprised by this, but actually, I think it makes a lot of sense,”

This move by Sinema, while disreputable and under-handed is politically brilliant and shrewd.  Sinema has been cagey about how she'll caucus and stated she expects to retain all her committee assignments.  Obviously, if Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer moves to sideline her Sinema is likely to threaten to caucus with the Republicans having cultivated a friendship with numerous Republican men.  Additionally, back in September, before the election Sinema told a throng of right-wingers she gleefully looked forward to Republican control of the Senate, 

“As you all know, control changes between the House and the Senate every couple of years. It’s likely to change again in just a few weeks".

But, with Reverend Raphael Warnock's victory in the special Georgia run-off election seemingly gave the Democratic Party a surprising 51-49 Senate advantage, clearing many of the hurdles of an evenly split Senate.  But, it also removed Sinema's power and her ability to undermine Democratic legislation if it suited her fancy.  And so a capricious Sinema is ready to jump ship over to her Republican daddy's, whom she has claimed to have charmed with copious displays of her cleavage.  Coupled with her readiness to sabotage Democratic legislation and policies to win Republican male approval, she also re-exerted her power over Democrats as well.

Sinema has also just launched the salvo at the Democratic Party Senate Races for 2024, because if Ruben Gallego, who was widely believed to be gearing up to primary Sinema for the Democratic nomination for Senate in 2024, now runs for Senate as a Democrat, Sinema will run as an Independent and siphon off just enough votes to ensure the AZ MAGA Republican pyscho wins the seat.

Sinema is a fraud and really sold Arizona Democrats a lie.  First off all, the Green Party is rightwing organization solely dedicated to helping Republicans get elected.  Alt Jill Stein here is a prime example.  Her tenure as a Green Party Arizona state legislator indicated she was progressive and as Arizona moved steadily towards the Democratic Party Sinema did as well "becoming" a Democrat in 2012 and then winning the 2018 US Senate election against crazy Martha McSally but, now her past actions really should be seen as a callous ploy or deceitful ruse to gain her enough cachet to win higher office.  Because since making the Senate she's turned her back on almost every issue she ostensibly supported and has taken pains to ally with and praise Senate Republicans while undercutting her "Own" Party, 

"Senator McConnell and I have forged a friendship, one that is rooted in our commonalities, including our pragmatic approach to legislating, our respect for the Senate as an institution.” 

Alt Jill Stein's ultimate goal remains a mystery.  Does Sinema really think she can inherit the Maverick McCain title?  Is she so high on her own renegade bonafides to make a run for President as a No Labels Third Way Indie?  Despite her effluent praise of Mitch McConnell, Sinema doesn't stand a chance in the Republican Party of Arizona which is untethered from reality but, not so untethered they would vote for a bisexual who twice voted to impeach Trump.

Forget Florida focus on the Four (Five) Southwest Corner States

The United States is a center-left Nation.  On every issue, Democrats represent the overwhelming will of America.  Yet...  the Republican Party persists.  It's no secret why Republicans still threaten the United States, they've inflitrated the Government and subverted laws and rights at every opportunity to ensure their agenda of oppression and subjugation continues to plague the American people.

It appears America's dildo is a lost cause for the foreseeable future. Florida has had steady trickle of angry Reactionary white boomers coalescing in the infected tip.  And those boomers are red-faced and furious. They were the golden children of America. They were going to live forever. The World was there's for the taking.  And then they got old.

Meanwhile, Soft Focus Kari Lake lost her bid to be the pugnacious Trumpette of Arizona.  And the Democrats won throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, okay Nevada, were the Machinery set up by Harry Reid continues to churn out wins for the Democrats.

The Southwest is already a blue bulwark against the sea of red which rolls over the empty High Plains of the Nation.  So, accept that, with the exception of an odd House district in Florida, the Southwest should be the focus of effort along with the old so-called rust belt states.  Because Republicans in the US House and Rightwingers in back room meetings continue to indicate that should they get power, women are going to be reduced to second class citizens bereft of the basic rights to bodily autonomy and Republicans will aid Vladimir Putin and other Authoritarian leaders roll back progressive gains and ensconce a new era of Fascism on the Globe.

Read this excellent short article by Mark Greene about the MAGA Boomer Rage and how there were several inflection points and the Boomers, as a whole, often made the worse decision each time and it's led to the Faux News fueled White Boomer Rage.  From the article,

Arizona's Gay Jim Crow Law and other States efforts are about using religion to enforce Bigotry

I think they see religious freedom as fine with it as long as it’s in the four walls of a church. But if it comes into workplace, the marketplace, if it comes into the public square, it’s not welcome." Family Research Council Tony Perkins complained in 2013. Of course, this is entirely correct, what you do in your church or home is fine but, forcing your religion onto someone in the public arena is not welcome or lawful.

Homosexuality is an abomination before GOD and man.  The Bible states this in plain English! - (emphasis as in the original) standard comment by a conservative in response to the pushback of right-wing efforts to get Discrimination codified into law as well as, highlighting Tea Party ignorance.

I wasn't going to address the Arizona Gay Jim Crow Law, but after Jan Brewer vetoed the bill the Right-Wing Wurlitzer of Outrage kicked into gear.

Ben Shapiro, the inheritor of Breitbart's Empire of Lies and Bigotry, wrote indecipherable tweets which all culminated in a cry of Fascism.

Racist Limpbaugh blathered something or other about bullying on his odious radio program. Bryan Fischer and other rabid right-wingers complained of the "Homo-Fascism" using the power of government to make the faithful engage in sin. The conservative reaction is predictable because these bills speak to the very core of what it means to be a Conservative.

Judson Phillips, of Tea Party Nation, warned of the incoming tyranny of Penis cakes. But, Judson did hit upon the key issue at play;

The issue can be boiled down to one word: Freedom.
A free man or woman controls their labor. A slave has no control over their labor. A free man or woman decides who they will work for and under what conditions. The slave cannot.

In December of 1865, the several American states ratified the 13th amendment, constitutionally ending involuntary servitude in the United States. In the 21st century, Americans are coming full circle. In a number of states, a black man can again be forced by the government to work involuntarily for a white man.

The Arizona SB1062 Law along with the other legislation proposed by rabid Right-Wing Legislatures are fundamental extensions of two core components of conservative ideology; Oppression and Intolerance. While also being tangentially related to the third core component, Adulation of the Rich.

These laws are very much about Freedom. They are designed to give conservatives the freedom to impose their religious beliefs on you, while also granting them the freedom to openly discriminate while operating in the public sphere.

But, they don't want you to know that's what their doing so they couch their bigotry under the guise of religious liberty.

These laws are backed by the same people that want to give business owners the ability to decide what medical care you are allowed to receive and how you spend your earned wages.

Recall they made the same bogus "religious liberty" argument during their evil struggle against the PPACA. So, if a Business Owner doesn't believe in blood transfusions or antibiotics because of his sincere religious beliefs conservatives want to give them the right to deny you that medical coverage. If a Business Owner doesn't consume pork, conservatives want to give them the right to ensure you aren't spending your wages on bacon.

Because conservatives believe in and want a return to Slavery. Republican voters are comprised of Bigots and Billionaires, Misogynists and Millionaires so Corporate Bondage and Oppression brought about by the awesome power of government euphemistically crouched under the guise of religious liberty suits both demographics.

Of course, the only reason Brewer vetoed this law and Republicans in Arizona began to back-track was financial. Apple and several other businesses voiced concerns over doing business in Arizona and the NFL not so discretely implied the 2015 Super Bowl would be moved from Arizona if the law was adopted.

So, Conservatives are inadvertently being honest when they claim this issue is actually about Freedom. Conservatives hate Freedom and what they seek is nothing less than an abolition of Freedom, Democracy and Liberty and an enshrinement of the Ultra-Reactionary Neo-Feudalist Wage Slavery State.

Arizona Needs *Moar* Guns! Crazy White Conservative Domestic Terrorist murders 4!

The Conservative Domestic Terrorist JT Ready was a former Marine. Please recall that the Department of Homeland Security issued a Memo in 2009 citing the radicalization and grooming of Veterans into Homegrown Terrorists to be one of the major threats to the Nation.

Conservatives roundly attacked and expressed outrage at the Memo. So now the question is whether or not the Faux News idiots, Tea Party Extremists and Right-Wing bloggers are just woefully ignorant or if they were actively defending the Domestic Terrorists they planned on unleashing upon America?

Arizona Republican White Power! Celebrate the White Man's Burden

Arizona banned Ethnic Studies in 2010 under HB 2281. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne has stated the reason for the ban, "This is consistent with the fundamental American value that we are all individuals, not exemplars of whatever ethnic groups we were born into."

The bill was passed mainly because of Horne's personal distaste for the Tuscon Unified School District's Chicano studies program, especially after he allegedly heard a teacher say, 'Republicans hate Latinos.' Thus, while Tom Horne is a bigot who hates Lation, Hispanics and Chicanos, his reasoning is also ignorant, self-serving and wrong and it is incontrovertible that Republicans hate all minorities.

Here in Chicago we celebrate Casimir Pulaksi Day. All across Cook County government offices are closed, Chicago Public Schools, the Chicago Public Library, Springfield Public Schools, and Illinois state-wide public and private schools are closed as well. Wisconsin (the whole state) also closes on Pulaski Day. According to Bigot Horne, Illinois school districts are inconsistent with American Values for honoring a foreigner.

Arizona Rushpublicans went further in their White Hot Rage as Jan Finger Waging Brewer created the Papers, please max schnell Law! Where Police and other officials are required to demand identification from someone who doesn't look like an *cough* brown skin *cough* American.

So, now Flushed with White Power & Pride, Rushpublican State Representative Cecil Ash has called for a Special Day to celebrate White People.
