The US Economy under President Biden is soaring but, for the past few years Americans have claimed the economy is hurting them and things are terrible.

Why is there a disconnect?

Well, mainly due to rightwingers actively accepting Trump's lies and the Corporate Media has made this a topic via their non-stop lying about the economy.  Republicans have finally fully embraced subjectivity as a moral/political philosophy.  There is no truth outside the truth of whatever best suits the Republicans today.  Thus, the economy is bad when it isn't and Trump's insane 200% Tariffs are good even though it would obliterate the US Economy and send us into a Depression.

Of course, senile traitor Trump was always going to claim Inflation is out of control and the economy is wrecked and we are the verge of a 1929 Depression blah blah blah.  Of course, anytime Faux News is forced to report on the actual numbers of the thriving economy under President Biden, senile traitor Trump gets angry and blasts off one of his ranting racist missives on Truth Social. But, understand if traitor Trump somehow regains control of the US Government, MAGA will immediately declare the Economy the Greatest of All Time... Again.  It's crucial to understand that even as Trump crashed the Nation in 2020, Republicans pretend he didn't and repeatedly assert to their brain-washed followers that everything was the Best of All Time and the greatest ever and perfect under Trump because reality is an illusion and all that matters is getting that Propaganda out there and winning the day.

Thus, Trump and the Republicans;

• Take all the credit for things they did not do
• Pass all the blame for the things they did do
• Proclaim themselves the Greatest of All Time

Last week, in Jupiter, Florida, Lara and Eric Trump threw another Boat Parade.  If you know anything about Jupiter Florida, then you know the houses on the causeway run into the 8 figure range.  And condos anywhere start in the million dollar range.  Michael Jordan has a $35,000,000 dollar mansion in Jupiter.  Jupiter is also where Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, got a massage hand-job and the only person to suffer because of it was the Asian immigrant who was arrested.

And if you own a boat, you're not struggling financially.  No matter what you might claim and have a overly credulous Corporate Media dutifully report.  But, of course, during this MAGA Boat Parade, Neo-Nazis joined in because The Fash, absolutely adores Trump, feels incredibly confident in his ability to steal into the White House, and is comfortable being out in the open because Trump and Project 2025 will grant them the ability to accomplish many of their terrorist dreams.

The problem is the Corporate Media is unwilling to admit the people who are claiming the economy is terrible are well-to-do or actually very rich.  And all the claims abut the price of eggs and milk or the cost of gas are lies being told by willing rightwingers who know that what they want to be true is true and there are no experts anymore and expertise and accreditation are the true liars trying to undermine their perceived truth and received wisdom.  MAGA loves being lied to by Trump because he tells them the things they want to be true are true and he gives them the latitude and permission to be their worst selves.

—  Former President Donald Trump has delivered a barrage of lies and distortions about the federal response to Hurricane Helene.

While various misinformation about the response has spread widely without Trump’s involvement, the Republican presidential nominee has been one of the country’s leading deceivers on the subject. Over a span of six days, in public comments and social media posts, Trump has used his powerful megaphone to endorse or invent false or unsubstantiated claims.

The chief targets of his hurricane-related dishonesty have been Vice President Kamala Harris, his opponent in the November presidential election, and President Joe Biden. 

It's not just Trump.  It's the entire Republican Party.

But, as Florida faces a now Category 5 Hurricane in Milton, Ron DeSantis continues to play dumb and petulant political games so Republican liars can continue to falsely claim President Biden (and therefore Vice President Harris) is not giving the aid to Republican States.  "We had this planned,"  DeSantis said of his effort to snub the President and Vice President in order to convince his base of Republicans that Biden had given all their money to Migrants and FEMA wasn't helping them.  “We’ve got to stop politicizing the weather and stop politicizing natural disasters,” DeSantis said last year.  Just don't say Climate Change or Little Goblin DeSantis will have you arrested by his Governor's Speech Police...

And the Republicans living in those States?  Well Trump, Vance, elected Republicans in Congress, and even rightwingers in other States DON'T GIVE A SHIT about them.

Deliberate misinformation, a callous disregard for peoples' lives, and incessant demonization of the Other are the hallmarks of the Fascist Republican Party.

Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania Republicans have been sending via the USPS letters telling people they have been selected to house and feed migrants under a Biden/Harris Plan.

"Congratulations," the fake letter stated, "you have been selected as a Wayward Steward exchange home for homeless immigrants and victims of foreign wars."  The letter was sent to Elizabeth Bennett from the"Pennsylvania Congressional Office of Immigration Affairs," which does not exist. Bennett was supposedly selected based on “property and income records” for a migrant housing program as part of  “US5Ca12-B,” a law implemented by the Biden administration, the letter asserted. No such law exists.

There's more deliberate lies and bullshit sent via Elon Muck's Nazi Twitter from Matt Gaetz, from Marco Rubio, from Squeaker of the House Mike Johnson.  It's a non-stop barrage with a specific goal.

Don't expect the Corporate Media to accurately call out the Republican non-stop lies for what they are; a deliberate campaign to destroy the Nation.  The Corporate Media's job is to massage and temper the Republican propaganda making their perfidy palatable to the Normie public.  

There is no point in trying to refute these lies about only getting $750, and the rest was stolen by Biden for illegal immigrants, and FEMA isn't helping or no where to be seen in rural North Carolina, or any of the millions of lies being spread throughout the Republican/Rightwing media universe in a reasoned manner.  These people are part of or lost to the Republican Agitprop Machine, they have no intention of being reasoned with or being convinced, they exist solely to be angry or afraid;  and those qualities can quickly be turned towards Violence.  The threat of Violence is what Republicans have been using to maintain their political cohesion.

We have to defeat these vile monsters and render the Republican Party politically inviolable.  I don't think we can, I think Republicans have such an unshakable hold and built-in political floor merely by flying that Scarlet R behind their names that they can run with outrageous lies and fact-free untruths and know, know with an absolute certainty that it will not be held against them and rightwingers will support their lies because they are lying.  The Nation can not remain half MAGA and half Free.  We, the People are being called upon again to defeat the Vile Monsters of Fascism coming from the entire Republican Party; a threat to the Nation, to our way of life, and to millions of people.

No doubt on the Leon Muck hellsite of X-Twitter the Just Comply Guys are back at it telling black people they deserve mistreatment up to and including extrajudicial murder at the hands of the Police because no black person, no matter how rich or famous has any rights, the Police or Justice System is bound to recognize.  To Republicans every black person is a priori guilty of something and therefore they deserve whatever happens to them. 

On NFL Opening Sunday, Tyreek Hill was stopped for speeding as he went to play in the Dolphins home opener.  When Hill told the Officer just "Give me my ticket, bro, so I can go, I'm gonna be late. Do what you gotta do," this did not sit well with the Miami-Dade Biker Cops, who within one minute of conducting the traffic stop, escalated the situation out of control, yanked Hill out of the car onto the pavement, where they put a knee on his back.  Hill was paraded to the curb, thrown to the ground when he didn't sit fast enough, handcuffed, and was subject to some really unprofessional wise ass comments about his knee surgery,

"What a coincidence.  Did you have surgery on your ears when we told you to put the window down?"

As you read the encounter so many things point to the Miami-Dade Officers out of control anger at Hill, when he dismissed them with 'just give me the ticket I gotta go' that snapped whatever slender reed of self-control the Officers had, they wanted the window down to visibly search for something anything they could see to arrest him, they wanted the window down so they could smell for the faintest wiff of canabis, they wanted him out of the car to demonstrate their authority.  As other Dolphin players saw this they approached arms raised because black men know how trigger happy Police in America are towards black men.  Even at 10 am on a Sunday morning.  Hill was kept almost half-an-hour until his rich powerful agent Drew Rosenhaus arrived on scene.  Hill never even played the "Do you know who I am?" card.  

Stephen Ross, the billionaire owner of the Dolphins is a fanatical supporter of senile traitor Trump, I'm certain if Hill had been killed by the Officers that day he'd be first in line to receive compensation for the value of his lost property, just like back in the old days.

Recall that under Florida Tyrant Little Boots DeSantis police officers from across the country can come down to Florida, no questions asked, to pick up policing again.  Which is why the Fascist Police Union (in Florida they are euphemistically called South Florida Benevolent Police Association) went on to declare Hill was being uncooperative.

What if it wasn't Tyreek Hill?  Well, everyone knows there'd be another Police "involved" killing of a black man...

Florida Surgeon General tells parents Measles is a Liberal Psyop

 The latest craze amongst right wingers is that everything is a "Liberal Psyop".  From Covid and the Vaccine to Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl, everything is an illegitimate Democrat Deep State plot. 

I wrote before the "Psyop" claim only makes sense if you are versed in rightwing lexicon.  Calling everything a Democrat or Liberal Psyop is a way for rightwingers to claim everything they don't like is fraudulent.

And remember by declaring something illegitimate or fraudulent is the first step in allowing Reactionaries the right to do what they want to do;  And what Republicans want to do is round-up and murder millions of people.

But, in Florida there are a lot of elderly Boomers, those people grew up with and have either direct knowledge or learned from their parents about diseases and vaccination efforts.  The Boomers were the direct beneficiaries of Jonas Salk vaccine against Polio.  Boomers lived through the complete eradication of Small Pox.  Boomers have benefited from untold scientific advances and an era of prosperity never before experienced by a single generation.

And those greedy fucks are throwing it all away.

Now, I know Boomers were unprepared for the onslaught of 50 years of Reactionary propaganda and now live in a world of fear and foggy dementia aided by that brainwashing.  But, what the fuck is wrong with people in Florida?

Stolen Valor DeSantis has Zero Charisma.  None.  And he exhibits his utter lack of charm, grace, intelligence, strength, integrity everytime this shrimpy dishonorable troll saunters on stage.  And his hand-picked psychotic Surgeon General Joseph Loony Ladapo?  Even Worse.

It’s because anti-vaccine sentiment in Florida comes from the top of the public health food-chain: Joseph Ladapo.”

As a Measles outbreak spread through Broward County, Florida instead of adhering to the long established medical understanding of a 21 day quarantine period, Ladapo left the decision to stay at home to the parents.  Loony Ladapo even acknowledged a 3 week period is normally recommended because,

"This is the period of time that the virus can be transmitted."

But, the Modern Republican Party has worked very hard to destroy the concept of expertise and scientific consensus, so if a Parent with an unvaccinated child wants to send their child (NOT THE PROPERTY OF THE GOVERNMENT LIBTARD) that's their right and their choice. PARENT'S RIGHTS!!!

While the Corporate Media likes to BothSides the Anti-Vaccine movements here and worldwide, it's been a long time since an enclave of granola crunching hippes in the Pacific Northwest have been the majority of Unvaccinated proponents, and ultra-conservative religious groups like the Amish and Hasidic Jews routinely get religious exemptions and mass outbreaks.  No today the Anti-Vaxx movement is overwhelmingly made up of Reactionary Villains, bad faith actors, and liars.  And no amount of debunking or actual evidence can dissuade them from their beliefs.  When RFK Jr, goes on some rightwing propaganda show and alludes to Vaccine Injuries he's relying on the bullshit 1998 Lancet "Study" which claimed Autism came from MMR vaccines.  When Jello-brain Trump tries to tout his success with the mRNA Covid Vaccine he is shouted down and booed (this is the only time he faces boos and Trump hates it which is why he doesn't reference His Vaccine miracle).

The more success the rightwing Anti-Vaxx movement has the more outbreaks and harm they will cause to their communities.  But, you've got to understand Rightwingers treat disease the way they treat gun violence, it's not going to happen to them and when an incident happens well it's the fault of the Democrats, blacks, and illegals.

So, we continue in this relationship with rightwingers and Republicans who hate Us, who do everything in their power to harm society, do everything they can to make life worse, and do everything they can to make America a Fascist Theocracy where they imagine they will be putting the boot on our necks.

I don't have "the solution" for immigration.  But, I do know that treating people like garbage to be boxed up and shipped elsewhere isn't a solution.  Nor is putting saw blades and buoys across rivers.  But, calling migrants "Savages" and claiming they are raping people sure puts you in the Trump category.

Illinois NAACP President Teresa Haley was recorded on Zoom earlier this month saying, 

"But, these immigrants have come over here, they've been raping people, they've been breaking into homes. They're like savages as well. They don't speak the language, and they look at us like we were crazy."

Reached for comment while vacationing in Dubai, Haley defended herself by saying this was faked because "with AI anything was possible."  This story was also leaked by Patrick Watson, a political opponent of Haley whom she disciplined for undisclosed reasons and his allegations stunk of payback.  So I had the faintest hope it actually was fabricated but, I know if that were true Haley or one of her allies would have immediately released a recording of the Zoom meeting with the "true" audio.  She didn't and now others have confirmed and apparently have the recording where she made these inhumane comments.

This is so depressing.  Oppressed communities are often targeted with this resource dilemma.  Having fought for years for recognition, fair treatment, and to stop discrimination these communities cling to their meager gains and resent when others (especially new arrivals) seemingly get a slice of that pie.  Because in America we've been taught for years that resources are a finite sum and therefore any resources some other group is getting is coming at your expense.

This is one of the Plutocratic controls the Rich have used for centuries to keep the poor and working class at each other's throats.  By consistently playing each of us off against the other they maintain control and are able to exert their influence on the political leadership.  And, more importantly, the 1% are able to ensure wealth and power flow through their hands from generation to generation. 

Mayor Brandon Johnson is facing a severe backlash from Chicago African American communities who saw the resources being expended on newly arrived people as a slap in their face.  Just before making those terrible remarks, Haley was speaking to the struggles with homelessness, drug addiction, and institutional racism faced by blacks in America.

Of course, the biggest obstacle facing Chicago and the US Government, as with every issue in the United States, is not only does the Democratic Party have to come up with a near perfect solution, they have to account for, plan and overcome the ratfvcking sabotage of the solution by the Republicans.  It's hard enough coming up with a plan when everyone is pulling the same way but, Republicans are political bomb-throwers who know that by undermining the Nation and damaging the economy, the country, and peoples' lives they can steal back into power.

Republicans never help in any situation facing the country and always hinder.  Nor do their ahistorical claims that their immigrant ancestors "did it the right way"...  Nor do the bad faith demands that anyone who is against the draconian mistreatment of the stranger must therefore individually house immigrants.  It's in no way any kind of an attempted solution but serves as a Gotcha Checkmate Lib.  It's part of a disingenuous demand that you be a Saint else you can not criticize Conservative sins. 

Compassion fatigue is a real issue phenomenon but the total lack of compassion, care or basic humanity repeatedly demonstrated by Republicans not only shames them but degrades and coarsens us as well.  There is no hate as vicious as “Christian Love”…. And once again we find ourselves in search of a Hero to solve this all in some Tolkien-esque Deus Ex Machina way.

Chicago is struggling to deal with migrants but, not because we have a housing or a migrant or a border crisis we have a crisis of compassion and an Epidemic of Republican lying and demonization of people.

So, that's how we end up here.  With the planned migrant Gardaworld temporary housing plan falling completely apart as winter approaches and with members of the Democratic coalition imitating the worst aspects of Republican inhumanity towards people looking for a better life.

It appears the only thing which is going to save the Untied States from a Fascist Ron DeSSantis Presidency is Ron DeSantis himself.  The stench of dead fish Red Tide wafts not only from Florida beaches but from Ron himself.

The Corporate Media were stepping all over their own dicks to anoint DeSSantis the next Republican candidate for President! back in May, since then the unlikeable smarmy DeSSantis has steadily dropped and as the more the people see of him the less they like.

A Florida state guard established by the rightwing governor, Ron DeSantis, under the guise of a civilian disaster relief force is instead being trained as an armed, combat-ready militia under his personal command, according to military veteran recruits who have quit the program.

• There are multiple frightening takeaways:
• The psychological and abusive physical tactics used against good-meaning people who signed up, including disabled Veterans.
• Getting the Florida Legislature to drop rules adopted in 2022 of using this group as a disaster response force in Florida and changing their mission to "law enforcement", including outside the state and against "illegal immigration".
• Expanding the budget from $10 to $100 million to purchase military equipment.

“The program got hijacked and turned into something that we were trying to stay away from: a militia,” said Brian Newhouse, a retired 20-year Navy veteran who was chosen to lead one of the State Guard’s three divisions. The original leadership team envisioned a disaster response team of veterans and civilians with a variety of practical skills, according to Newhouse. Two other former military veterans, who asked not to be named for fear of potential consequences and later quit, expressed similar concerns over a change in the State Guard’s mission

Be wary of paramilitaries. When the men with guns who have always claimed to be against the system start wearing uniforms and marching around with torches and pictures of a Leader, the end is nigh. When the pro-leader paramilitary and the official police and military intermingle, the end has come.

This Florida State Guard will end up mimicking the treasonous South Carolina State Militia at Fort Sumter in 1861 if Casey DeSantis has her way.  Understand none of this is concerning whatsoever to millions of conservatives.  Republicans and Rightwingers don't believe in principles of limited government and don't distrust the State.  Republicans yearn to meld the power of their rightwing paramilitary terrorist groups with the legal apparatus of the Department of Justice and mete out "Justice" to the Non-MAGA.  Conservatives jettisoned their so-called beliefs, morals, and ethics long ago, Donald John Traitor Trump merely gave them the green light to let their Fascist Flags Fly.

There is no fundamental difference between today's Republican Party and Apartheid South Africa, the Slave Masters of the Confederacy or Nazi Germany.  The only difference is the power the American GOP wields.

Understand it's not just Pudding Fingers Ron who is determined to make Florida Fascist and Make America Florida.  Recall the things floated and implemented by the Republican Florida Legislature:

• Blog Registration
• Menstrual cycle tracking for all pre-teen and High School girls in the State.
• Arresting black people for voting 
• State interfering with Americans medical care 
• Crushing Pride Month - “First we need to crush Pride Month.  We need to bend our civil rights laws to make it actionable legally for when they do do that because it’s an anti-Christian hate symbol.” - Florida elected Fascist Anthony Sabatini 

These are just some of the egregious overreach by DeSSantis and his pliant Legislature.  A key component of fascist rule is to issue contradictory, confusing, or chaotic rules and to place the onus on well-meaning persons to enforce them.  You then become an unwitting pawn in advancing the rightwing agenda.  Timothy Snyder listed this as his 1st Rule of wannabe Tyrants and authoritarian groups like the Florida Republicans;

As the news of the Parkland school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School broke, and the news reports of what the School Resource Officer (SRO) did and did not do I was filled with a great swell of pity for the man.  Today, that SRO, Scot Peterson was found Not Guilty after being charged with child neglect for failing to confront NRA-Trained MAGA Gunman Nicholas Cruz;

A jury has acquitted on all counts the former school resource officer who stayed outside during the February 2018 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida – absolving him of wrongdoing in the rare trial of a law enforcement officer for his response to a mass shooting.  Scot Peterson, 60, took off his glasses and wept in court as the judge read the verdict, which found him not guilty of seven counts of felony child neglect, three counts of culpable negligence and one count of perjury.

Look, Peterson was afraid.  He thought his last few years of Policing could be a nice day-to-day hall monitor job.  Glad handing with the teachers and talking trash with the students.Instead, Parkland joined the ever-growing list of mass shooting massacres.  I won't say unthinkable because mass shootings are a daily occurrence and fact of day-to-day life in America.  Everywhere.  At any time.

Thinking people have a sense of what they might or might not do in such a situation.  Of course, I have been a SRO and always feared such an encounter during my time.  It's never far from your mind.

Of course, after the shooting the vile bloated creature stepped in to bloviate about what his fat ass would have done if only he had been there, "I think, I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon.  They weren't exactly Medal of Honor winners, alright?  They way they performed was frankly, disgusting."

That fat fucking coward.  That racist fucking Traitor.  As if a man who made sure to skip out of service when it was his time declaring his hypothetical heroics is the epitome of Republican Courage.  When've seen this type of tough-guy nonsense from Sean Hannity, from that child-raping chickenhawk coward Ted Nugent, from so many rightwing internet warriors.  This, of course, was before Trump incited an Insurrection and successfully delayed the peaceful transfer of power in the United States.  This is before Trump and his Republican con-conspirators thought to override the will of the American people by bureaucratic legerdemain so that his Russian conspiring ass could remain in office.

No one knows what they're gonna do until the bullets start flying.  And I sure would like to have a country in which we didn't need Hero Cops going into a school to confront yet another Mass Shooter.  But, we don't live in that Nation, we live in a Nation in which Gun Nuts, the NRA, the Firearms Industry, and the Republican Party have an alliance to sell as many guns as possible, to strike down as many gun laws as possible, and to ensure there are as many mass shootings as possible because Gun Violence makes them money and gives them political power.  But, to blame this one man for decades of vile NRA perfidy and Republican treachery was too much for a Jury today.

I said long ago, that when law enforcement agencies, Sheriff's departments, big Metropolitan police forces, and your local Officer Friendly were reformed, retrained, or restrained Conservatives would seek to jettison them and create new agencies and empower them to conduct business as usual; i.e. the extrajudicial killing of black people and the ruthless enforcement of a two-tiered justice system which never prosecutes Republicans or rightwingers while bringing the entire weight of the Awesome Power of the State onto anyone who does not help maintain the rigid double standard conservatives have enjoyed since the Founding Fathers wrote the unequal application of Freedom into the Constitution.

Remember how angry white people were when President Barblack Oblackma dared to call a white police officer stupid.  Remember how draconian and unconstitutional George W. Bush's Department of Justice acted in spying on Muslims and Anti-War Left groups.  Recall how conservatives freaked out when it was legislated Hispanic immigrants could get Driver's Licenses in Illinois?  Remember how conservatives who all say you can not trust the government implicitly and vociferously accept and defend every single Police kkkilling of black people or even deify white men who choke the life out of black men?

Republicans have received their coordinated talking points that no in reality it's Joe Biden's Department of Justice which has been weaponized and are all on the page of how they will undo this Woke Department of Justice and unhand cuff Our Police.  What Republicans mean is return things to the good old days when Police kept those people in line and were the guard dogs of Plutocracy, White Supremacy and the Patriarchy.

Conservatives have complained for years that "Police" are not hurting the people they are supposed to be hurting.  Republicans are more than willing to feed into this false narrative/belief, that Police have become too woke or have been handcuffed from getting those criminals behind bars.  Only tough on crime Republicans can restore Law&Order.  And that seems to be the main thrust of Ron Phony Bronze Star DeSantis is taking in his quest to win the Presidency.

“We’re not going to let all this power accumulate in Washington, we’re going to break up these agencies,” DeSantis said during a private strategy session over the weekend, excerpts of which were obtained exclusively by RCP. He vowed in that call to order “some of the problematic components of the DOJ” be uprooted, reorganized, and then promptly “shipped to other parts of the country.”

“We’ve seen throughout this country that the DOJ and the FBI are controlled by one faction of our society,” DeSantis said on the call, pointing to how those agencies were “going after pro-life activists,” wrongfully investigating parents at school board meetings “who are concerned about things like critical race theory, and forcing kids to wear masks,” and “colluding with tech companies to censor information such as what they did with the 2020 election.”

I must point out that nothing DeSantis is proposing is in anyway new.  Conservatives absolutely adore the unequal application of laws, and the targeting of people for their ideological beliefs.  What conservatives hate is when they are subject to their own standard.    This is standard Conservative Orthodoxy along with the complaints that starting in the 1960's and accelerating recently the Federal Government isn't doing the job the way it is supposed to.   Conservatives believe "The Law" and all Police Agencies exist to punish people they don't like and look the other way at their own offenses.  No matter what the offense may be.  Observe the absolute ridiculous rightwing defense of the Trump inspired and Republican lead successful attempt to obstruct and delay the transfer of power on January 6th.  That, of course, is merely the largest most obvious example of the double standard conservatives demand from law enforcement.  Conservatives committing crimes aren't actually committing crimes and even if they are committing crimes those who committed crimes should, if they are conservatives, get away with it.

Ron DeSantis has been invited to Illinois by supreme scumbag John Catanzara.  Perhaps you'll recall Dirty John Catanzara has been forced to resign from the Police Force after years of being a criminal cop.  Or perhaps you will remember when Catanzara enthusiastically endorsed the Jan6th Insurrection.  Well, DeathSantis is planning on speaking on President's Day...

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is planning to come to Elmhurst on Monday, according to the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police.

On Thursday, the organization invited members to see the Republican governor at a yet-to-be-disclosed site in Elmhurst. Doors are set to open at 3:30 p.m.

According to the invitation, the location will be revealed 48 hours before the "Back the Blue" event. The invitation said DeSantis would speak about law enforcement.

DeSantis is just the type of vile vicious asshole who appeals to Catanzara.  But, even worse High School Girl humping Ron, as he gears up for his Presidential Run in 2024, is seeking to bolster his support amongst dirtbag Officers who adore his Quasi-Fascist policies.  I am aghast but unsurprised at the hold Ron DeSantis has over white suburbanites. They love him because he hurts the people they want hurt.

They love him because he provides them The Show they want, the results are irrelevant and incidental, but the pomp and circumstance, the tweets by Christina Pushaw, the made for TV arrests, and press conferences in which he #OwnstheLibs and announces another Anti-Woke program or Anti-LGBTQ pogrom fill the dark evil need wypipo have in the depths of their inhumane souls.

DeSantis' background details hardly matter. Because on the surface he's everything white people venerate. A Veteran!!! Do white people care his Bronze Star is literally without the "V" for Valor? No. In fact it's important to them that DeSantis got his award for defending and implmenting torture on "TERRORISTS".

Do rightwingers care about his creepy parties with high school girls as their cool teacher plying them with booze?  Fake News!!!

DeSantis has an intoxicating allure for a certain segment of America.  That allure is the promise to unleash America's white power on those who deserve to be put back in their place or eliminated.  Conservatives see in DeSantis the unfulfilled promise of Trump.  Cops especially...

Forget Florida focus on the Four (Five) Southwest Corner States

"The vibe on the ground was totally different than this," Charlie Kirk talking to Arizona lunatic Wendy Rogers.  Rightwingers run on Vibes not Votes.  That's why the animating principle for Republicans is #OwntheLibs and not say how can we set up a more just union which materially benefits Americans?

The United States is a center-left Nation.  On every issue, Democrats represent the overwhelming will of America.  Yet...  the Republican Party persists.  It's no secret why Republicans still threaten the United States, they've inflitrated the Government and subverted laws and rights at every opportunity to ensure their agenda of oppression and subjugation continues to plague the American people.

It appears America's dildo is a lost cause for the foreseeable future. Florida has had steady trickle of angry Reactionary white boomers coalescing in the infected tip.  And those boomers are red-faced and furious. They were the golden children of America. They were going to live forever. The World was there's for the taking.  And then they got old.

Meanwhile, Soft Focus Kari Lake lost her bid to be the pugnacious Trumpette of Arizona.  And the Democrats won throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, okay Nevada, were the Machinery set up by Harry Reid continues to churn out wins for the Democrats.

The Southwest is already a blue bulwark against the sea of red which rolls over the empty High Plains of the Nation.  So, accept that, with the exception of an odd House district in Florida, the Southwest should be the focus of effort along with the old so-called rust belt states.  Because Republicans in the US House and Rightwingers in back room meetings continue to indicate that should they get power, women are going to be reduced to second class citizens bereft of the basic rights to bodily autonomy and Republicans will aid Vladimir Putin and other Authoritarian leaders roll back progressive gains and ensconce a new era of Fascism on the Globe.

So called once in a lifetime extreme weather events seemingly happen monthly now.  This year it's deluges and unbearable heat spikes.  Last year tornadoes.  Flooding...  Massive Raging Wildfires...  A few years ago, massive Hurricanes...

And now massive Hurricanes again!

Ian is going to make landfall tonight in and around Charolette County Florida.  That's the Gulf side of the dangly weenie state of Florida.  Ian intensified to a near-Category 5 Hurricane overnight and currently has sustained 155mph winds.  At this point (1000 hours) it's too late to safely evacuate the area and all residents are advised to shelter in place.

Florida's population has increased dramatically as the Boomers flee to the warm clime;  One -Sixth of Florida's population is over 65 and 3/4ths of Florida 21,000,000 people live in coastal regions.  As Hurriance frequency and intensity increases so will the damage done to the coastal regions.  Now, of course Federal relief and assistance is going to go to Florida after Ian and after each of the successive Category 4 and 5 hurricanes.  After all the President is Joe Biden not George W(orst Ever) Bush.  So, unlike NOLA, Florida will receive more than just a photo-op fly-over and "Heckva a job Brownie" speech.  

The problem going forward is, as they do with everything, Republicans decided man-made climate change which is incontrovertible, is a choice wedge issue.  

I have little doubt the future DeSantis Presidency will see benefit in denying federal disaster funds to California and other liberal states while the GQP continues their decades long plan of diverting federal monies to rightwing groups and Republican led states while subverting the United States of America and reducing the majority of We, the People into wage slaves shackled in perpetual corporate bondage.

The worst thing you can do in America is accurately describe the actions and motivations of Republicans.  It's the Corporate Media's job to uncritically repeat all the Republicans fact-free claims and false assertions while throwing their hands up and saying there is no way to know if Republicans are telling the truth or not.

Ron DeSantis is a human trafficking kidnapper.  I certainly hope the investigation and possible class action lawsuit uncovers and makes Ron DeSlavery subject to consequences for his actions but, Republicans have realized that by constantly committing crimes and rushing headlong into scandal after scandal they can overwhelm the justice system and the media into letting them get away with it.  Additionally, rightwing media will never punish a Republican for being a bigot or criminal.  Indeed the entire rightwing media apparatus came into existence to succor, obfuscate, and defend Republican perfidy.

DeSantis, of course, barely won his Governorship even though he employed overt racism and has since run rampant through the state like a cliched meth-addled Florida Man.  Killing the elderly, attacking education, empowering bigots, demonizing LGBTQ person, and using Veterans as cudgels to disenfranchise teachers.

This is all designed to endear DeSantis to rightwingers across the USA who yearn to put this slightly smarter Trump into Office so he can do to the Nation what he's done to Florida.  So, it should come as no surprise Ron DeSlavery would fund a scheme to dupe Asylum seekers and migrants to round-up and fly them to Martha's Vineyard and film the whole thing thinking he was going to epically #OwntheLibs. 

DeSantis is a vile excuse for a human and the quintessential Republican Governor; portly, pudgy, pouty, pretentious, petulant, putrid, a perfect poltroon.

Listen to this disjointed and falsehood filled press conference gave trumpeting his kidnapping scheme.  There's so much criminality and inhumanity with this story and the flop sweat, backpedaling, lying, attempts at distraction, and varying rationales for the kidnapping going on that multiple Republicans from Ted Cruz to Marco Rubio (beneficiaries of asylum themselves but, willing to pull the ladder up so others can't benefit) are flooding Faux News and elsewhere in the rightwing hermetically sealed bubble with shit so white conservative bigots can continue to think this wasn't illegal and inhumane.

But, while every reason Republicans proffer is a lie or fabrication what is true is conservatives throughout social media and the Nation acted as thought this totally Owned those Libs!  Hard!  The truth doesn't matter to rightwing drones at all.  Conservative talking heads and on-line propagandists have created a hermetically sealed bubble in which conservatives can hear all the lies they want and it totally confirms their beliefs.  Facts on the ground don't matter. 

These type of illegal actions by elected Republicans, and associated low-level terrorism by rightwing Paramilitary groups are going to increase from now on because conservatives are fully-fascist now but, lack the courage to engage in open warfare with the government because they hope to win enough statehouses in 2022 so they can subvert the federal government in 2024 and then use the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary to make their Fascist Fundamentalist Nation a legal reality.

If these stunts are so awesome I wonder why we aren't hearing from the people who are transporting the kidnapped migrants to liberal cities?  Certainly, it's important to locate the paid Firm who conducted DeSantis Martha's Vineyard scheme.  But, why aren't we hearing from the pilots?  Why aren't they being given James O'Keefe style interviews of Faux News?  Why aren't we reading their 1000 word sub stack missives, I flew that plane and I loved it.  Maybe, because the Just Following Orders defense is all they've got right now.

Last September DeSlavery enacted several immigration executive orders, including one which,

banned Florida agencies from providing assistance in transporting to the state migrants apprehended at the southwest border, who don't have legal status in the country.

So, it's clear DeSantis is using federal and state tax payer dollars to effect this kidnapping scheme.  This is of course in line with privatization efforts in which Republicans steal money from the American people and funnel it to their friends and allies just like Brett Favre and former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant.

It's going to come out that like all Republicans DeSantis is using the power of government to pilfer public money but, by the time anyone investigates or releases this report DeSantis expects to be in the White House.  The Intercept discovered the airline Vetrol received the public money from DeSantis after they had contributed mightily to his campaign, a clear kick-back scheme Republicans always use.

These days, Gay Panic is no longer a strong enough tonic to motivate the conservative outrage machine.  Republicans transitioned to demonization, legal and physical violence towards Trans Persons.  Like, all fascist stalking horses, Republicans couch their violence to transpersons in the cloak of Won't Someone Think of the Children! Because they know they can pass their agenda of hatred and intolerance by lying to Normie America and then ignore complaints while they brutally repress, incarcerate and kill those they've targeted.  In this case, the Trans Community.

We've seen this perverted dynamic play out in Virginia with Reactionary villain Greg Younkin and with on-line conservatives like Matt Walsh that want to set up cameras in every nook and cranny in Public schools to spy on your children and create vast databases of child porn for conservatives to consume daily, a sort of giant Predatory Pedophile Panopticon.  

In the two largest rightwing states in America, Texas and Florida, Republican Governors, Attorneys General, and Senators are empowering themselves and others to become Official Panty Sniffers and genital inspectors.  Using the awesome power of government, the sole legal authority of force, Republicans want juveniles genitals too be regularly inspected and fines and prison to be threatened to anyone who refuses to let conservatives inspect children's genitals.

In Florida, the Republican Legislature passed the so-called #DontSayGay Bill which requires at risk children to be outed and that Florida Republicans get to determine what is best for the child.  Ron DeathSantis is expected to take time out from his busy schedule of murdering old people in Florida to sign the bill so that parents will know what children in their school should be targeted for harassment and bullying.   

In Texas, despicable Greg Abbott aided by convicted felon Ken Paxton saw the Florida Bill and decided they should push an immoral, unlawful bill akin to the Spanish Inquisition.  Like the Anti-abortion Law, Texas seeks to empower bounty hunters to turn in parents of Trans youths and then use the power of the child protection laws to kidnap and brutalize the children.  Once the Government of Texas has possession of a trans youth they will doubtlessly chemically and physically force the child into conformity.

Clearly, Republicans post 2020 see political power stemming from their constant attacks on Schools, teachers, and the most at-risk marginal children.  Florida Senator Rick Scott released an 11 point plan which included eliminating the Department of Education, so States could go back to Segregation Era education without worrying about some do-gooders in the Federal Government looking to defend the LGBTQ community and all other students from the rapacious crotch spying by sicko conservatives. 

Jim Oberweis the next Senator of Illinois... or Flordia!

Republican Jim Oberweis, another Plutocrat who made his fortune off of legerdemain, is running to oppose Dick Durbin for the US Senate. Oberweis will have to win the Primary this March 18th in order to face Senator Durbin in November.

Oberweis is currently an Illinois State Senator having previously run for the US Senate, US House, Illinois Governor and finally winning office in 2012.

Thus far, the only policies State Senator Oberweis has backed is increasing the speed limits on Illinois Highways so his milk and dairy products can reach their destinations faster; accidents, damage to streets and traffic deaths be damned those costs will be borne by society and Illinois Taxpayers, and Pension Theft from Illinois Teachers.

Oberweis voted to steal Teacher Pensions and violate the contracts signed by other Illinois Public employees. Oberweis called the Pension Theft a "step in the right direction" but was worried, "There is no guarantee that the money saved by these reforms will actually be used to pay down debt, instead of being used for new programs." Paying down the debt means transferring taxpayer money to Corporations via pay-to-play tax incentives and special water and power rates for businesses.

Well, now the interesting thing about Oberweis being so worried about Illinois debt is the Oberweis' primary residence is in Bonita Springs, Florida, which coincidentally is where Jim has spent (some? most? all?) the terrible Chicago winter.

This winter in Chicago has been the coldest, when measured by sub-zero degree days, and the second snowiest behind only the infamous blizzard of 1979.

Ah the best of both worlds! Jim's current wife, Julie is a native of Florida and is registered to vote there and she's also registered to vote in Kane County Illinois! In fact in 2010, she voted in both states.

But, it's not Voter Fraud because Julie Oberweis registered to vote in Florida as a precursor to taking a homestead tax exemption for the couple's "primary residence" a $1.3 Million dollar mansion, most likely the one Jim Oberweis spent the better part of this winter relaxing in and soaking up the Florida sun.

Oberweis surfaced in Chicago yesterday (the high was 54 degrees), 4 days before the Republican Primary to give an interview to right-wing toxic talk radio station WLS 890, in which he said, "I never saw the beach, was not there. I did play golf with my wife though."

Awww... Oberweis is going to win the Republican Primary and surely he's just what we need in the US Senate; another Plutocrat Vulture Millionaire who can ensure the poor are punished, the needy are shamed, the hungry are humiliated, and the sick are denied care.

Here's a Warning Shot: Guns "Save" Lives but, Bullets Don't

The latest Hero of the Second Amendment, Curtis Reeves, gunned down texting bad guy Chad Oulson when their argument reached the stage of Loud Voice and Red Face. Just as the NRA wants; someone disrespects you? BLAM! Some elderly alzheimer patient flouting your Commands? BLAM! Somebody using your driveway to turn around? BLAM! Someone texting during the previews? BLAM!

Of course, there have been Two School Shootings and hundreds more shot across the Country in the week since Reeves murdered Oulson.

In the wake of the Florida Movie texter murder, the NRA, ALEC and Gun Lunatics are not pausing to reconsider their ideas but are pushing forward so that Total Unrestrained and Unrestricted Gun Violence is the "Law" of the Land.

The NRA's paid Republicans are now pushing for Warning Shots and Aggressive Weapon Displays and Flagrant Flagging to be lawfully protected activities in Florida. The ignorance of what bullets actually do when fired just proves again that Gun Lunatics, who routinely accuse gun control advocates of not understanding weapons, are the ones who don't understand the tools in their possession.

Radio Host and former Faux News token liberal Alan Colmes recently interviewed South Carolina Senate candidate Lee Bright and asked Bright if Teachers should have "machine guns". Bright responded that a teacher "protecting school grounds" should carry whatever "she" can.

When asked specifically if that meant "machine guns", Bright responded, "The Second Amendment is pretty clear. It says the right to carry arms should not be infringed... I don’t see how the government can regulate it."

The levels of gasp-inducing ignorance exhibited by Gun Lunatics posing as Legislators is frightening. Bright is so encapsulated in his epistemic closure he can't "see how the government can regulate it" [i.e. guns]. Well, Mister Bright the Constitution is Not a Suicide Pact. Just because you want teachers patroling schools with Squad Automatic Weapons doesn't mean WE, the PEOPLE do.

But, this is the way Gun Maniacs always frame the issue. Second Amendment! Freedom! Protecting Schools! Ask them for details about where Teachers weapons will be stored during the school day, what level of training a teacher will undergo and whom exactly will pay, how many clearing barrels and gun safes the school will have, what kind of sling the gym teacher will use since he can't have a belt holster with his athletic shorts and how many "accidental discharge" casaualties are acceptable to the NRA and Pro-Gun Violence Republicans and you'll get no answer other than an angry denunciation of Gun-Grabbers!!! 

As Ultra-Reactionary thinking has been thrust upon the Nation and endlessly championed by paid shills of the Plutocracy, these extremist positions, where Republican Senate Candidate Bright or Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia just do not possess the range of thought and can't figure out how to keep RPGs and SAWs off the streets because Derp! Second Amendment! become more entrenched in the emotive recesses of the hermetically sealed right-wing brain.

But, this is what the NRA wants. They want people shooting and murdering each other with Guns. They want people going everywhere armed, ready to shoot at whatever goes bump in the night. Be it their 14 year old step-daughter or the mad delusions of their unconscious minds. They want a Nation consumed by Unrestricted Gun Violence.

George Zimmerman Acquitted due to Victim Blackness

 Better a Hundred Guilty Men should go Free than an Innocent One should go to jail. Well, George Zimmerman's just become One of a Hundred.

Zimmerman is guilty but, he's been acquitted because his victim is of no consequence. The facts surrounding this Killing show beyond a "reasonable doubt" that George Zimmerman is Guilty Second Degree Murder. Which is why Right-Wingers have been screaming into the Internet for a year and a half to get Zimmerman off.

Thus, they made the smearing and slandering of Trayvon Martin their Cause Celebre.

Martin's background has no bearing on the incidents surrounding the night of his murder. Setting aside the fact he committed no crime on his final night on earth, his past marijuana use and minor incidents at school were unknown that night to his killer and thus can not have played a role in Zimmerman's decision to ensure this one wasn't going to get away.

Zimmerman hadn't witnessed anything other than a "suspicious" young black male was walking around the neighborhood. What made Martin suspicious? There's a reason Towns used to have Signs which read: Ni[clang], Don't Let the Sun Set on Your Black Ass in Town. Walking while Black is still a crime in most of America.

In Law Enforcement paralance, Zimmerman is a "White Hispanic" just as he was refered to. While, Race is a bullshit construct designed to seperate people, Law Enforcement in most States still adhere to the Black/White/Hispanic/Asian paradigm. And Hispanic is broken into Black and White subgroups. You need not believe me, simply ask any Illinois Police Officer. But, notice how ignorant Right-Wingers jumped upon the label as Proof Positive! the Liberal Media was trying to railroad poor innocent Georgie.

George Zimmerman is 250+ pounds of soft bubble gum. His former MMA instructor could see it, testyfing he was "just physically soft" and "non-athletic". His girlfriend who accused Zimmerman of Domestic Violence, knew he was soft. The Police from multiple contacts with Georgie, his 46 calls to 911, and his arrest for Battery to a Police Officer no doubt knew he was soft. And soft, wide-waisted, flabby assed wannabes like Zimmerman need that Gun to Prove their tough.

And man, once you have that Gun on your hip, it's weight just screeeeeeeeams for the need to be pulled to prove yourself.

Beyond the blathering of Zimmerman's Defense Attorneys, "Martin armed himself with a sidewalk" for instance, repeatedly badgered Martin's mother to admit Trayvon was responsible for his own death.

Trayvon Martin was under no legal obligation to stop for Zimmerman or to explain his presence in the area to him. None. Trayvon was entirely within his rights to be in that neighborhood.

And the whole incident would have been over when Zimmerman told the Sanford Dispatcher , "Shit he's Running," if Zimmerman had chosen not to follow a young man who had committed No Crime. Zimmerman had no legal authority to follow or confront Martin. But, Zimmerman wasn't going this "asshole get away".

Martin did the right thing by running at first but, (and we'll never know the unbiased true sequence of events) he must have decided he'd run long enough from this "creepy-ass cracker".

If there's a Stand Your Ground case to have been made it would have been for Martin. But, despite being within his rights Trayvon made what proved to be a fatal mistake. The entire defense of Zimmerman was based on portraying Trayvon, a young black man out at night in a hoodie as suspicious and complicit in his death. And they're right.

Zimmerman told the Sanford Dispatcher, "This guy looks like he's up to no good, or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about."

Of course, Zimmerman thought Trayvon Martin was "up to no good" and "on drugs". As he told Dispatch he's black. And this is America. Young Black Males are a priori assumed to be Guilty of something.

Zimmerman hadn't seen him commit a Burglary. Zimmerman hadn't looked at Martin's pupils and couldn't have gotten a whiff of anything while seated in his car with it raining outside to claim Martin was on drugs, other than knowing he was black. But when Martin ran as he knew he was one of those assholes who always got away and Zimmerman the Self-Appointed Watch Captain wasn't going to let this one get away.

Zimmerman admitted on the 911 call that he was following Martin. The Sanford Dispatcher is a Sworn Law Enforcement Officer, so yes she had the legal power to order Zimmerman not to follow Martin. Too bad she phrased her instruction to him as, "We don't need you to do that."

But, that doesn't matter now. Zimmerman's been acquitted, Martin's still dead, and Gun Violence rules the Land.
