Bored of War & Peace 22: Republicans routinely shit on active duty service-members and Veterans and now deny they were even killed or wounded

Do you remember when Traitor trump said soldiers hit and wounded by Iranian missiles in 2020 were malingering and they just had "headaches"?

Do you remember when Donnie Dumbass sent in a Special Forces unit into Niger, with no back-up, no QRF, no plan, no hope, and even the locals told US command staff they shouldn't go into that area because of insurgent activity?

Do you remember Donnie Don't Care dancing and twerking on the grave sites of Arlington National Cemetery?  While his obese thug Steven Cheung and others pushed the National Park employees around?

Well, of all the despicable crap, Traitor trump and his cabal of criminal co-conspirators have pulled and subjected Veterans and active duty to, removing and hiding US service-members from being recorded as killed or wounded due to his ridiculous and negligent Iran War is most likely the worst.

THE PENTAGON IS using a new method of tallying the number of U.S. soldiers killed and wounded in the Iran war that a U.S. government official said was “designed to obscure the count.”

Since the start of the conflict, the Department of War has posted the official count of casualties on the website of the Defense Casualty Analysis System, or DCAS, which tracks “deceased, wounded, ill or injured” service members for Congress and the president. This official total of dead and wounded personnel, as documented over months of reporting by The Intercept, has been a gross undercount, stemming from what that same official previously called a “casualty cover-up.”

And Donnie Don't Cares' record of insulting, belittling, and using the military for his own personal gain is unmatched in American History.  Even the biggest grifters and abusers of the U.S. military have never done and gotten away with shitting on American Veterans, as much as Traitor trump has.  But, Republicans have never viewed military service-members as human beings but, as a rhetorical club to bash the left and as little wooden RISK tokens;

I am aghast and have been for some time about this fucking pile of shit but, whenever these stories get airtime, Donnie's army of rightwing podcast propagandists declare it lies and attack anyone reporting it as having Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) or claim you want Iran to have a nuclear bomb to attack America or Whatabout President Biden looking at his watch during a return of KIA?

Yet, again Trump and Republicans shit all over military members only to be able to mulligan their absolute disrespect and utter disregard of active duty service-members because Republicans Support The Troops.

And how does the Corporate Media know trump loves the troops?  Well, Republicans keep saying it!  Therefore, it's axiomatically true then!  Republicans are big strong pro-military heroes who love and support Veterans despite their every action, despite fighting legislation to help injured service-members battling chronic injuries and excluding and demonizing anyone who doesn't identify as a white christian pyscho.  Despite deliberately miscounting those killed and injured in Donnie Dumbass' on-going misadventure in Iran.

I just don't know how to combat this bullshit about Republicans and the military.  It's a moldy chestnut that's over 50 fucking years old now.  The Reactionaries who pushed it as an election strategy for Nixon to use to counter the Sixties are long since in the grave.  In case you didn't know much of the Republicans are the pro-military people started with the evil Nixon administration latching onto and expanding the bullshit cult of the POW/MIA Flag.  Then it accelerated when Ronnie Raygun swooped into Office with his Hollywood crafted image as a WW2 Hero and his Alzheimer's riddled war crimes and treason, including ordering the deaths of 241 soldiers, sailors, and Marines in Beirut Lebanon.

But, Vietnam is over 50 years ago and Iran-Contra and Raygun's admission he committed crimes as President is also 40 years ago.  So while I know Republicans co-opted and perverted Patriotism, the Flag, and Supporting' the Troops aided and abetted by their adoring Corporate Media allies, the likes of David Broder and his hatred of the Clinton's for "wrecking the place" are long dead.  And after the failures of Republican foreign war policies in Iraq and Afghanistan (much of which was sown by Ronnie Raygun's criminal tenure in office) why does the US Corporate Media still give so much sway and deference to Republicans as the Party of the Military?  I know why the Corporate Media fawns over Traitor trump, they just love the guy and quite openly want his fascist agenda to succeed.  

Hell, the media invited him back to the White House Correspondents Dinner so Traitor trump could insult them to their faces!  He "joked" about running a fourth time for his third term!  He said Kaitlin Collins looked like trannie comparing her looks to Dylan Mulvaney!  He gave his standard speech reveling in violence, threatening more violence against Americans who dare defy him, and railing against immigrants, Democrats, and all the enemies of the Nazi Republican Party.  And all the US media could do is chuckle and shake their heads, and silently intone, there he goes again!!!

Well, now you can add in Traitor trump, Whiskey Pete Hegseth, and the Republican Party simply undercounting casualties from the capricious Iran debacle they started with no strategy except to keep the U.S. Navy in the area lobbing missiles from time-to-time while Donnie declares Victory and his criminal sycophants claim a Deal is Imminent.  Over and Over and Over and Over.

Just a few weeks ago Traitor trump posted an image of himself in his teenage cosplay uniform juxtaposed against a young President Obama.  Now he's taken to giving himself a fantasy version of a WW2 4-star General's uniform, replete with incorrect gear, an indecipherable salad stack of medals on his left breast, and a svelte waist Donnie has never had.  He's getting real, real close to parading around the Nation in a military uniform mock-up as a Generalissimo.

It would just be ridiculous if not for the fact that Donnie Dumbass has embroiled us in a fiasco in Iran.

A fiasco he's already lost strategically and now is in the process of losing the United States tactically as Dumbass Donnie and his henchmen burn through munition stores.

Does anyone have a counter page up to count the number of times Traitor trump has announced a political deal?  The number of times he's declared Victory?  The number of times he's said Iran was defeated?

Blame Biden!!!

I'm certain Republicans see no political pitfalls because all they have to do is Blame Biden for "destroying" the military before Donnie and Drunken Pete Hegseth got control,

Invariably when Republicans are out of the White House they will simply go back to their repulsive playbook of bashing the left and claiming Democrats don't support the troops, whilst the US Corporate Media lavishes effusive praise onto Republicans who most definitely Support the Troops and you know this is true axiomatically because Republicans say they do!

Fuck... I'm old enough to remember Mitt R-Money attacking President Obama for not having enough ships during their debates in 2012.

Understand the whole Iran War debacle from start till now (and who the fuck knows when this will be finished because Traitor trump and his cabal of criminals has no fucking plan) should be an impeachable offense.  But, I don't know why I get myself worked up over Donnie disrespecting veterans yet again.  Or cowardly treasonous Republicans starting yet another unjustified War.

Certainly, once they lose control of the Federal Government the Republicans and their media allies will blame the Democrats for their careless and stupid wars and additionally rightwingers will blame any Democratic President for ending the Republican War, just like they did with President Obama in 2008 when he ended the Iraq debacle and President Biden in 2021 for ending the Republican Afghanistan boondoggle. 

I've wanted to believe for years his blatant and repeated incidents would be disqualifying just like I'd like to believe this image of Traitor trump as some hero festooned with a chest full of awards would earn him some negative coverage, some reprimand from the American Foreign Legion or the VFW, or all those Stolen Valor Nazis who attacked a Naval Petty Officer for wearing his cover titled whilst attending a Hillary Clinton Rally would trump apologize but I know it will not.  

If all the previous disrespect, dishonorable, and desecration Donnie Don't Care has shown to active duty service members, veterans, and those interned at Arlington National Cemetery didn't persuade them of the character of this treasonous, racist, rapist conman nothing will.  Whites, including many white Veterans have fully descended into the MAGA Cult.  There's no coming back from what they are now.
