Shall Not Be Infringed 5: If only Republicans treated Guns they way they treat Transgender Persons

If only, Republicans sought to restrict guns they way they are passing laws to eliminate Transgender and non-conformist persons, we might not be losing 40,000+ Americans to gun violence every year with an additional quarter million or more wounded. 

So, here in Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has been busy cleaning up the damage wrought by Mr. 1% of the 1% Billionaire Bruce Ruiner as well as the deferred maintenance required for a proper functioning State.

One of Governor Pritzker and the Democratic Legislatures signature accomplishments was to sign into law restrictions on AR-15 under the Assault Weapons Ban.  But, unfortunately as we have seen numerous times Republicans choose Guns & Death over the lives of Americans.  Thus, with no sense of shame a podunk Republican Judge decided he has the authority to overrule the State Legislature and the Governor,

A judge in Macon County struck down the law, finding that it violates the equal protection and special legislation clauses of the Illinois Constitution.  Governor JB Pritzker responded in a statement Friday night, saying in part, "We expected political grandstanding from those more beholden to the gun lobby than to the safety of their constituents and today's ruling comes as no surprise. It does not apply statewide." 

Fortunately, Governor Pritzker and Illinois Attorney General Kwame Rauol were not caught flat-footed by this bullshit SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED ruling and have prepared to defend the law and work towards its' implementation.

Of course, this highlights the Republican plan of using Judges to thwart the will of the Voters and American people, which has borne it's most bitter fruit with the Unaccountable Supremacist Court and the rogue Sinister Six Supremes.  But, it also demonstrates the continue rightwing predilection to invert every topic they entwine themselves with.  The so-called Pro-Life Republicans are absolutely beholden and wedded to the concept of Unrestricted Gun Violence everywhere and as Jon Stewart correctly observed, "Don't give a flying fuck to stop it".

In the wake, of the revelation rightwing gun nut Bobby Crimo, who shot up Highland Park on July 4th last year, had bomb making materials at his home but, decided not to try and use them because bombs are difficult to build, employ, and use effectively. 

When interviewed about the bombs Crimo allegedly stated, "If everything lined up correctly then I would use it.  But it didn't."

Especially, when compared to the ease of obtaining an Assault Rifle, especially when your rightwing criminal asshole father is more than willing to buy it for you, well it's much easier to be a rightwing domestic terrorist with a gun in America because Guns SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. 

Understand Republicans hate you.  Republicans want you dead.  And they are ferverently working towards that end.  Don't kid yourself that after rounding-up and eliminating Transgender persons that Republican bloodlust will be sated, Republicans will do what they always have done, go after the next group, and after they deal with that group (whomever it is) Republicans will expand their circle of death and violence and get the next group of Non-MAGA.  Rightwingers are yearning to set up death camps and kill millions of Americans.  It's all part of the plan to Make America Great Again; turning the United States into the Charnel House the Republicans have always dreamed it could be.

Shall Not Be Infringed 4: Republicans love Guns and want you Dead

Jon Stewart's interview with an Oklahoma Republican has garnered lots of attention; While certain easily duped centrists and Corporate Media drones will hail this as a watershed moment when Republicans realize their slavish obedience to the Firearms Manufacturing Industry is foolish, ahistorical, hypocritical, and dangerous what's more important and more salient is Nathan Dahm responded with the flat affect of a Republican Psychopath and his every answer was designed to cause you to "Seethe & Cope", to pull your hair, to fume, to respond with shocked exasperation, because every time you were stunned by his callousness he OWNED THE LIBS. 

That is all Republicans & Rightwingers care about; Owning the Libs, getting you upset, causing you distress.  But, sadly when confronted with actual Republican policies and the actual language of Republican politicians, regular Americans recoil and dismiss it as too over-the-top to be true.  Stop lying Liberal!  No way a Republican actually believes that or are actually proposing that! It must be Democrat lies!  There's no way Republicans would espouse Something Like THAT!!!

But, sadly as has been shown time and time again, Republicans will do that.

We've had numerous examples of Republicans expressing their fervent desire to turn women into walking incubators, to incarcerate and forcibly "de-transition" LGBTQ persons, to steal Social Security, to eliminate child labor laws, to summarily execute black people, to kill millions of Americans and yet, as long as they have their rightwing Media to claim GOP policies are "saving" Social Security, GOP policies are "pro-life", GOP are for Law&Order, regular Americans chalk up the black-and-white laws written and passed by Republican Legislatures as lies told by Joe Brandon and those kooky Squad members.

In Alaska, Oath Breaker Republican David Eastman wondered if society wouldn't be better off if abused children were just killed instead of wasting precious taxpayer dollars on things like care and post-abuse treatment and whatnot.  "It's actually a cost-savings!" Pull yourself up by your bootstraps has morphed in rightwing thinking to strangle people by their bootstraps.

It's the same reasoning and logical fallacy the NRA and their blood soaked Republican harridans use to convince people gun control is not needed.  The fallacy of large numbers.  Sure 40,000 or 50,000 will die by guns and another 250,000 will be wounded but it's America and we have over 320,000,000 people so there's really no way it's going to be you or your family members and after all, everyone knows only Chicago and other Democrat Cities are were all the gun violence happens wink-wink-wink.

You see Michael is a still a Good Guy with a Gun, up to and even after he started firing those bullets which blew "his family" to pieces and Tausha would have been an even Gooder Girl with a Gun if she had her "protective arms" which had been unconstitutionally removed the from house which she could have used to "Save Lives" because All Adults in that home were Good Guys with Guns.

One of the pernicious lies, the blood soaked Firearms Industry has repeatedly pounded is the Myth Guns Save Lives. Guns Take Lives. It is their primary and only function. And this monstrous fiction has allowed Men to pretend they are Good Guys with Guns when like D-Fens in Falling Down, they are the Bad Guy. But, since guns are gifts from God and he shot "his family" (always note the language used to frame the relationship between the murderer and "his victims" they are his possessions to do with as he pleases) in America guns are overwhelmingly used to kill their owner after that man has murdered his wife and children.

Kendall County Illinois Republicans plan to recreate the Highland Park Bobby Crimo shooting by giving away multiple guns on July 24th

Kendall Co Illinois Republicans are auctioning off firearms this July 24th because Republicans love guns and mass shootings.

As we learn more about the dysfunctional malcontent drunk Crimo family and the how rabid Trump supporter Bobby Crimo's father sought to avoid gun control regulations and ranted about saving the Second Amendment in the wake of the post Uvalde shooting fallout before going out and up arming his son for the 4th of July, understand the Republican plan for decades has been to hamstring and undermine firearms regulation while also supporting targeted Supreme Court cases to make gun control unworkable.  Then as gun violence has predictably gone up to point out how gun control doesn't work.  

Couple this with non-stop lies from John Lott and the non "CDC self defense" from the 1990's which purported to show millions of defensive gun uses a year and this has worked brilliantly for Republicans, the NRA, and the Firearms Industry to flood America with guns whilst they soak in the blood money which has come with it.

The Republicans plan is to make America ungovernable and then replace the United States with a Fascist Fundamentalist Slave State.

6 Lives lost.  25 more people with life-long gun shot wounds.  Hundreds if not thousands traumatized.  A community shattered...  Why does none of this matter to the Gun Lobby and Gun humping fanatics?

This is to say nothing of the economic impact from yesterday.  Hundreds of Officers called in to look for the suspect, Bobby Crimo.  Parades and firework shows all across Lake County and northern Cook County cancelled for fear of a copycat, an accomplice.  Think of the Return on Investment one man with an AR-15 extracted in terms of damage.  

Because we can not have gun control and civilization in America look at the absurd work arounds Republicans and gun nuts offer up:  First off no one with a concealed carry was going to stop this incident the shooter had an elevated position and a rifle but just as with Las Vegas, gun nuts keep making this ludicrous argument.  Next, let's turn all of our schools into solid concrete pillboxes with no windows and with one door.  Let's fill the hallways with Veterans with PTSD give them guns and no other job than to wander around, armed, aimlessly.  This sounds like a dungeon lair from D&D.  And now, anytime 2 or more people gather let's employ snipers on rooftops to ensure once the shooter starts killing people we can get a bead on him and kill him with fewer casualties.

But, as pig fucker Darren Bailey's ignorant tweet demonstrates, Republicans do not fucking care.  Darren Bailey tried to connect this to "Crime in the streets" i.e. Chicago.  Darren Bailey is the Republican nominee for Governor in Illinois and is everything a modern Republican is; bigoted, ignorant, shameless, vile, and beholden to gun makers.

As the suspected shooter is now in custody (good work by the Officer who spotted Crimo's car), it's time for the gun nuts, firearms industry, NRA, and their paid off thralls in the Republican Party to move to the next phase of a mass shooting incident.

Denial.  Deflection.  Obfuscation.  And above all, Lies.  

It's Mental Health they'll scream!  It's a lack of Open Carry in Illinois, they'll shout! It's Democrat controlled Illinois fault, they'll screech!

Change the subject!  Run out the clock!  Blame video games.  Or doors.  Anything to avoid the obvious.  The inescapable fact.  That it's the guns.  It's the fucking guns.  It's always been the guns.  That the way to curb gun violence is too limit guns.  AR-15s are fueling these mass shootings and they shouldn't be readily available.  Did the suspect purchase his rifle on "layaway" like the Uvalde shooter?  Kill now, pay never?

Oh hoe! Don't tell a right-winger he shouldn't have an AR-15 because he'll loudly bellow it's his right and if you suggest passing gun laws he'll declare he will commit mass murder on you and anyone else who'd dare pass laws and try to limit mass murders.

We, the People are in an undeclared war with the Firearms Industry and their allies the NRA and Republican Party.  It's an asymmetrical war.  The Gun Industry buys politicians through their Russian-funded propaganda arm the NRA and cultivates a fanatical core of hard gun nut zealots who shout [MORON* LABE] and SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED whenever gun regulation is spoken of. 

And now it's probably too late.  The Gun Industry has flooded America with guns.  It's a pollution which requires decades of dedicated work to undo and we can't get started because any attempts are meet with moneyed resistance, underhanded rightwing political shenanigans, and overt threats of violence from conservatives.

Conservatives aren't about to give up their AR-15s now anyway they plan to use them very soon to overthrow the Biden Presidency and assassinate Democratic Representatives and Senators.

Texas Republicans: Fuck Them Kids!

“What are we going to do about assault rifles?” Mr. Trump asked.
“Not a damn thing,” Mick Mulvaney, Acting chief of staff, replied.  Reportedly Trump asked this after the 2019 El Paso Mass Shooting.  Even spirochete-addled Trump understood there is no reason to have AR-15s strewn about the country and Gun Control was a necessary and correct response. 

It hasn't even been a month since Republicans took to Faux News and every platform available to declare their unbreakable devotion to the Sanctity of Life.

Besides shooting kids themselves, I don't know what else Republicans have to do and say to prove to you that they don't give a fuck about kids. Don't give a fuck how many people die brutal, painful deaths from gunfire.  Don't give a fuck if one of their 2nd Amendment Heroes shoots kids in the face; because up until he pulls that trigger he's a lawful gun owner.  Republicans DON'T GIVE A FUCK and won't do ANYTHING as they attempt to deflect and run out the clock on the latest AR-15 Massacre.

It's always interesting (as well as infuriating) to see what excuse and deflection Republicans will adopt to defeat gun control.  After Uvalde, Republicans are invoking 911 and making an analogy to securing the schools like we secured the cockpits.  As well as the ridiculous one door in and out and having multiple armed Officers on scene.  Turning schools into prisons. It's always been a dream of Republicans to destroy public education and reinstitute child labor as well as being an added bonus of removing the "pipeline" in the Republican School-to-Prison pipeline.

The two latest spectacular mass shootings are directly tied to Republican Policies, Republican rhetoric, and Republican laws; so Republicans responded Fuck Them Kids...

Republicans don't care.  Republicans aren't going to do anything to stop or curb Gun Violence.

Chicago!!! Chicago!!! Chicago!!! The immediate and most often used response every time a mass shooting occurs.  It's a shorthand which encompasses so many rightwing shibboleths about the guns.

Republicans always respond that gun laws don't work.  Now, if this was true "Governor" Greg Abbott wouldn't have spent the last 7 years of his Governorship signing legislation to ensure guns can proliferate across Texas.  But, Abbott during his despicable tenure as governor has cut funding for mental health and loosened all restrictions to limit the spread of firearms.  At this point I'm sure some "smart" gun nut will invoke Natural Law and "Negative Rights" as though this was a frosh policy course endnote real life and death but, as Jeremey Bentham noted centuries ago Security is what matters in society and Natural Rights/Law is nonsense.  

But, of course Republicans actually don't give a shit about real justifications or a fundamental legal grounding for their lock-step support for the unfettered proliferation of firearms.  Everything in the Modern GOP is about the exercise of raw power and the Owning of the Libs.  It's why the GOP and NRA gleefully held their annual meeting in Houston, Texas.  Republicans DON'T GIVE A SHIT about gun violence and gun deaths.

Republican 2nd Amendment Hero murders 14 children and a teacher in Texas (apparently it's 21 total murdered)

Firstly, Republicans love when children are murdered.

A 18 year old took his SCOTUS approved, Republican mandated, NRA protected, and Christian blessed rifle and murdered 14 children in a Texas Elementary School.  Texas is the Holy Land for Rightwing beliefs (although it will be soon supplanted by Florida) and in Texas the Gun is King, the Gun is Lord.  Children are the sacrifice the Holey Dread Lord Our Moloch requires... (apparently it's up to 21 people murdered so anyone trained in understanding asymmetric warfare can tell you a 21-to-1 ratio is something any terrorist or guerrilla solider will gladly accept and the NRA in their War on the United States of America gladly accepts this ratio of gun deaths to tyrants overthrown (i.e. INFINITE) 

I am 100% certain when Rightwing propagandists heard there was a mass shooting in a Texas School they shouted 'Oh No! Not in Texas! Land of the Gun!!!'  But, then when they heard the shooters name was "Hispanic" conservatives shouted 'Oh Yes! Now we can run with our standard playbook!'

You see after every mass shooting conservatives trot out the same tired gun nut playbook;

This doesn't even cover the list of rightwing mantras they shout after each of these incidents.  Nor does it address the concerted effort conservatives undertake to spread lies and misinformation, create fake social media accounts so they can claim the shooter is a leftist.  This time, it'll be easy for the usual rightwing suspects on Youtube and Faux News, to say the name Salvador Ramos and let their bigoted followers conclude, "It's an Illegal Immigrant invited in by Joe Biden and the Demmycrats are to Blame!!!" (The New York Times coverage had to include a paragraph that while the town Uvlade is near the US-Mexico border most of the people living there have lived in the region for decades).

Police Officers then dutifully engage in their part of the unending drama, by standing around with their ridiculous tactical AR-15's slung in front of them.  Great job guys.

Meanwhile, I'm sure Texas Ted Ralphie Cruz will show his machismo by cooking some more bacon on the end of his a borrowed gun barrel.

What's always important to Republicans after these mass sacrifices is that no gun be made to feel discomfort...  Known Criminal Ken Paxton, wearing his cheapest looking campaign shirt,, took to the airwaves to console every gun and potential mass shooter that don't worry Texas won't inhibit your gun rampage.  Republicans are a Death Cult who have nothing to offer the American People...

The Revenge of the Thin Blue Line 14: Do you carry a gun? Carry a badge!

Tennessee Republicans in the General Assembly have proposed not one but, two bills to grant the 700,000 "enhanced gun permit holders" law enforcement powers.  In a perverse inversion of a classic scene in The Untouchables, where Sean Connery asks the nebbish FBI accountant if he carries a badge, then shoves a shotgun at him as he admonishes him to carry a gun, the Tennessee Republicans have decided carrying a gun means you can carry a badge.  Obviously, this is insane which means the entire Tennessee Republican Party will support it vociferously and in lock step.

This is consistent with the the unspoken beliefs proffered by the NRA and Republican Party that every man is constitutionally empowered to act as *his* own Judge, jury and executioner when holding a gun.  And should not nay cannot be questioned, tried, or held in anyway liable for the bodies he leaves behind.  *- offer not available to black people

The rapid spread of CCL and Stand Your Ground has emboldened gun nuts to see an "offense" reach for their Firearm and pass sentence of death.  Shoot first, claim self-defense, and walk free.  What Tennessee is proposing is just a legal cover for a long standing 

Now, you might counter that many gun owners are good shots and Police Officers are terrible shots.  And you're not wrong.  Many Officers are terrible at shooting but, Police Work is one long non-stop Gunfight at the OK Corral.  It requires a keen analytic mind, some compassion, ability to empathize with victims, have a working knowledge of the legal codes of local, state and federal government, and be able to enforce the law with dispassion and equanimity.  Now, you might counter that Police are terrible at all those things, too.  And... yeah, sure that's true.  But, only because all humans in the aggregate are kinda bad at those things, as well.

Granting, further law enforcement power to citizens is just another step to empowering paramilitary groups to dispense "justice" when the GOP does away with free and fair elections and institutes their Fascist Evangelical Ethno-State.  With each passing day and in multiple Republican controlled states we see how easily and readily the GOP is to creating an Authoritarian Government with a patina of democracy,

Madison Cawthorn spends his time fixing his guns not his marriage

In light of Mad Nazi Cawthorn visibly stroking his death-cock, by performatively "cleaning" his gun on a Zoom call for the House Veterans' Affairs Committee, I think it's time to repost a "corrected" version of last year's post about Cawthorn and his wife.  Early in January an unknown person complained to blogger my post about Cawthorn contained "Misinformation" and it was removed.

So here is a corrected account, which in my defense contains direct quotes from Cawthorn about the how, where, when and why he met his now ex-wife:

First, my theory Madison Cawthorn was groomed by the FSB is currently Not Proven.  And as evidence I am not posting misinformation Here's the video of Cawthorn's summer 2020 interview with Daily Caller TV, and how he, himself described the whole thing:

As Cawthorn recounts, "that is a long story I don't know if we have time..." the blonde rightwing bimbo interjects to ask if it was on Tinder (OMFG), Cawthorn laughs and then states, "No. It all starts in a Russian Casino..."  Cawthorn by his account was going for one last fling with a bunch of friends taking a boat to St. Petersburg and wandered into a Casino where he "ended up meeting An American" named Todd, who just so happened to be an Army Captain from Miami.  Todd and Mad Nazi Cawthorn "hit it off" and "stayed in contact" until a year and half later when Todd invited the paraplegic Cawthorn to compete in a Crossfit Competition in Miami.  Cawthorn by his own admission admits it was "a sham", a "fake CrossFit competition" and Todd just wanted to "put me in the same room with the girl who became my fiancé". 

I don't believe "Army Captain Todd" is a real American Army Captain at all.  However, Cawthorn's claim "Todd" is from Miami gives me pause, because nearby across from Miami, Florida Mike Flynn has set up an armed compound full of sycophants and rightwing paramilitary wannabes.  It's conceivable Army Captain Todd is a member of Flynn's circle of admirers.  But, I've never heard a more simultaneously lurid and childlike recounting of a possible recruiting scenario than the interview Cawthorn freely gave in June 2020.  Tom Clancy couldn't write a more obvious recruitment story for one of his bloated books.  Red Sparrow (2018) and Spy Game (2001) have a less obvious storylines.  

As to Cawthorn's former spouse, leaving aside my contention about GRU or FSB, it sadly appears Cawthorn's marriage was an unhappy one.  Obviously, you never know what's going on behind the scenes in a marriage and I hope neither party was subjected to emotional or physical abuse, but Representative  Cawthorn is certainly abusing the Nation with his antics and actions as a US Congressman.

However, even if Cawthorn wasn't recruited on his very strange trip to Russia would his vile harmful actions as an elected Congressman be any different?  Because Cawthorn is the epitome of a Modern Republican; Stupid, venal, violent, incurious, unaccomplished, a liar, an alleged sex pest, and a Fvcking Traitor.

Conservative Terrorists can't wait to murder Beto O'Rourke with their AR-15s

If Gun Laws are passed, conservatives have declared en masse they will not follow the Law. There is a name for a group of people who declare they won't follow the law; criminals.

During last night's Democratic Presidential debate, Beto O'Rouke affirmed he would spearhead the passage of laws to curtail the gun violence Republicans have not only ignored but actively encouraged at the behest of their NRA and FSB owners. In response to Presidential Candidate O'Rouke's comments, conservatives, including elected officials, declared they will murder him and anyone else who dares to enforce the law.

The reason conservatives buy so many AR-15s and AK-47 clones is for use on people. Conservatives have been champing at the bit to murder millions of Americans. It's been a rightwing obsession for decades. And in reality for centuries; because the Civil War never ended, conservatives just changed tactics, after they lost the massed lines of battle and maneuver portion of the War. Conservative switched tactics to "Lone Wolf" terrorism attacks and infiltration and subversion of the United States Government from within; funded by Russian pimps and gangsters of late.

Conservatives have a terrible ache, a longing deep down in their shriveled loins, to round-up and kill millions of people; but especially liberals, Democrats, minorities, and any Non-#MAGA they can find. It's been a hallmark of their blackened souls since the 1960s, when conservatives became enraged the Federal Government was trying, ever so tepidly to comfort the afflicted and aid those harmed by right-wingers over the years.

Why are the shootings in Chicago assumed to be criminal acts?

After every mass shooting, conservative gun nuts descend upon social media like a pack of angry howler monkeys to shout down anyone who makes the obvious connection between more guns and more gun violence.

One of the favorite talking points for gun nuts is to proclaim Chicago. Now... Why do conservative assume the gun violence in Chicago is "Criminal" and not a "DGU"?

DGU stands for Defensive Gun Use and Chicago was the home of the second major 21st century SCOTUS case (McDonald v. Chicago) which redefined the 2nd Amendment as meaning Government can place no limitations on gun ownership.

Of course, the answer is simple; Chicago when used as a rebuttal by gun nuts means Black and conservatives believe all Black People are a priori guilty of crimes ergo any time a black person shoots a gun or even has a gun it is a criminal act.

There is literally no way for any gun nut to know the circumstance of every shooting reported in Chicago, yet every shooting is assumed to be a criminal act. Now you might retort the gun nuts are reading police reports which highlight gang activity or the shooting was a killing over turf or the victim was not the intended target but, that seemingly goes against standard conservative orthodoxy in respect to the government.

Conservatives claim they don't trust the government but, in fact, their trust is merely conditional. When a Police Officer kills a black person conservatives who-heartedly accept the government's accounting of the incident. When the government incarcerates thousands of children in concentration camps, for the temerity of being refugees, conservatives absolutely believe the governments' reports.

Chicago is but one of the man go to "arguments" gun humping lunatics trot out after every mass killing. Video Games, lack of school prayer, mental illness, semi-automatic vs. assault weapon nomenclature gotcha moments also round out their repitoire of bad faith retorts or just outright shamelessness.

In Las Vegas, Second Amendment Hero makes largest blood donation to the NRA

Stephen Craig Paddock, an old white man working as an apparent money launderer for the mob, purchased 33 semi-automatic rifles over the past year, almost 3 a month.  With his arsenal Paddock, a legal responsible gun owner on 09/30/17 became the perpetrator of the worst mass shooting in U.S. History on 10/01/17.  Paddock wounded 600 people and thus far 58 have died.  Paddock is a Second Amendment Champion and Newest All-Star in the NRA Hall-of-Fame.

Immediately after these events, conservatives sprang into action.  Gun Nuts emerged from their Gun Rooms, in a frenzy ready to defend guns to your death, and descended up the social media.  Facebook, Twitter, and the conservative internet have been Horrific.

The howling from gun humping lunatics and screeching conservatives in their propaganda campaign of obfuscation and distortion, is lie after lie, after lie, after lie, after lie.  4Chan, The_Donald subreddit, and various other sewers of fevered right-wing insanity made no pretense and spead outright lies and disinformation.  The goal isn't to discover any truth about Paddock or mass shootings but, to muddy the narrative with enough lies for long enough that in a few weeks or months, when this mass murder no longer dominates headlines, conseravtives will be able to assert Paddock was a Leading Antifa collaborator of George Soros, who had deep ties to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

On Faux News tv broadcasts, Howard Kurtz, Brit Hume, and other rightwing hypocrites made false pleas for a day without politicizing tragedy, all the while politicizng the incident with references to Chicago and the Leftist agenda.  References to Chicago, by conservatives is just racist shorthand, because I never hear any discussion of a solution to Chicago's gun crime problem nor do conservatives acknowledge that 3/5ths of guns used in comission of crimes come from outside Cook County.

The Republicans dutifully, texted and tweeted, their Thoughts & Prayers, and went back to pushing the blood-soaked agenda of the NRA and Firearm Industry.  The Republican Party always offers Thoughts & Prayers because it is the least they can do, when Republicans figure out how to do less and just ignore these events they will.

The ghoulish Republicans even rolled out the bullet broken body of Congressman Steve Scalise to praise Guns and affirm there shall be no Gun Control Now, No Guntrol Ever.  I wonder if this Republican Congress which is striving to eliminate all government funded or aided healthcare coverage will offer up the same medical care for the 600 wounded in Las Vegas that Scalise received in his 3 months of rehabilitation.  Of course, the answer is no, since the Republicans just affirmed that healthcare is a privilege not a right.

Sean Hannity crafted a fantasy scenario wherein he was on the 31st floor, with his licensed firearm and he moved to the shooters location and eliminated the threat.  It was such a preposterous fantasy even Laura "Nazi Salute" Ingraham had to admit he couldn't have helped.

In fact, a prominent tough-talking ammosexual was in the crowd and was tweeting, unfortunately for him the image which appeared was him looking stunned, unable to move, deer in headlights, as first responder emergency lights framed his frozen face

Bill O'Reilly declared, "This is the price of freedom..."  RWers love to claim freedom isn't free yet I've never seen Bill O'Reilly willing to pay the price of freedom.

This is not freedom.  This is madness. This is suicide.  National Suicide.  And the Constitution is not a suicide pact.

Mass Shootings are the Ultimate Expression of White Male Privilege

There are many titles I could have come up with this post but, the recent details emerging from the latest Mass Shooting incident in Colorado changed its' direction.

So, the Mass Shooter was spotted by his neighbor who called 911 only to be told because of the crazy Open Carry and Stand Your Ground Laws forced down the throats of every American by the vicious NRA and blood-soaked Gun Manufacturers without one care about the health and right to life of We, the People there was nothing the Police could do.

Similar, incidents of weapon brandishing by Firearm Fuckers have happened in other states. When I'm on duty and see a person marching around with a weapon I don't think freedom loving 2A Champion, I think shooting about to go down. It used to be that openly displaying a weapon away from you own property was a crime but, of course, the shooter as a white male has the absolute right to threaten people with his gun implictly and explicitly. The resultant mass shootings are the ultimate expression of white male privilege.

Now, your average conservative asshole or gun-humping fanatic will immediately respond with Chicago!!! BLACK ON BLACK VIOLENCE!!! So, let's take a look at what's going on in Chicago.

The majority of guns used in commission of crimes originate outside Chicago and Cook County. But, besides the fact that loose or nonexistent gun laws from various of states is driving Chicago's Gun Crime what's the underlying force behind the Chicago shootings; Criminal activity, gang identification, and territory disputes, mainly surrounding the drug business. This is no different than the criminal activity surrounding the Italian Mobs of Chicago and New York, the Irish Mobs in Boston and Cleveland. But, Italian and Irish people have earned enough white points so reactionary right-wingers don't ascribe the actions of a few criminals to the entire people the way they do for African-Americans.

But, worse than the racist politics of conservatives is the way the Gun Humping Fanatics have taken over the issue of Gun Control. The favorite youtube video of Gun Nuts is: We Need to Talk About Sandy Hook.

There is a kernel of reactionary right-wingers who are convicned that every mass shooting is a black ops Obama led conspiracy to talk their precious guns from them. Scarlett Lewis, a mother of the one of the Newton murdered school children recent released a book about her pain and struggle. The Amazon reviews by the gun nut trolls are just horrific.

• Sandy Hook NEVER happened!! The FBI ADMITTED that it never happened!! Is this book supposed to be real?? What a joke!!!
• Sandyhook has been proven to be a 100% FRAUD. This was a false government sponsored psychological operation used to erode the rights of American Citizens. This lady did not write this book. This is propaganda that is being used to perpetuate a false narrative.
• This woman is a liar no child died at Sandy hook. Sandy hook is a hoax, it was staged. Go watch "We need to talk about Sandy Hook" and pay attention. SANDY HOOK WAS A STAGED HOAX NO ONE DIED!

But, they buttress a point about laws. You do not let the most extreme elements drive Gun Laws. Nor do you let those whose interests lie in making as many weapons as possible craft gun laws. And contrary to the bluster of Right-Wingers there are various laws which could have an impact on these mass shootings, they just don't know about them because Republicans at the behest of the Gun Makers Lobby quietly kill those laws in State and Federal Government,

In 2005 George W(orst President Ever) Bush backed by the Republican Controlled House and Senate passed Legislation making Gun Manufacturers immune to Lawsuits for their Negligence.

In 2011 Republicans in Illinois, in direct opposition to the health and safety of their constituents, voted to put guns in the hands of Terrorists:

In 2014, Alan Colmes interviewed South Carolina Senate candidate Lee Bright and asked Bright if Teachers should have "machine guns". Bright responded that a teacher "protecting school grounds" should carry whatever "she" can. When asked specifically if that meant "machine guns", Bright responded, "The Second Amendment is pretty clear. It says the right to carry arms should not be infringed... I don’t see how the government can regulate it."

Supreme Court Warren Burger, a conservative appointed to Chief Justice by Richard Nixon, said of the idea that the second amendment confers an individuals right to own a gun, 

"the second amendment has been the subject of one of the greatest pieces of fraud, I repeat the word fraud, ever perpetrated on the American public by an interest group in my lifetime."

Molon Labe: Guns aren't going anywhere and until We, the People do something about them, Firearm Fucking Gun Nuts are going to continue murdering Americans.

After each and every incident the gun humping fanatics have perfected the argument of the loud voice and the angry red face, after every shooting, they swarm the internet and just scream, 'AHHHHH!' 'AHHHHH!' 'AHHHHH!' ''AHHHHH!' 'AHHHHH!' 'AHHHHH!', until everyone just stops commenting and the other pressing matters in our daily lives take our attention away.

But, the Gun Humpers attention is never diverted they await every new mass shooting to swarm yet again. The murder on-air of a blonde newcaster and a cameraman, caused only a temporary ripple in the rushing torrent of Gun Nut Screams and the Howls of the NRA.

Guns will destroy us, unless we refocus and destroy them.

What to do when faced with a Gunman

Sadly, because of the mendacity of Republicans and insanity of the firearm humping gun nut fanatics the best advice we can offer, in the face of gun violence, daily school shootings, and rising mass shooting incidents, is to rush the gunman.

Gun Nuts have brought America to such a murderous state that when I'm asked on the street by residents or by family and friends I do tell them, your two options are fight or flight.

Unfortunately, many people when confronted by such a situation freeze. Freezing in the face of danger is not cowardly or unmanly it is a natural bodily reaction of facing a life-or-death situation. It takes training to overcome this response. Hiding is not an improper response but it is a holding action until one of the two prime options (Fight or Flight) becomes available or necessary. So, yes if running away is not an option because of some factor then attacking the gunman, and I mean an all-out attack; screaming, clawing, stabbing, biting, kneeing, throwing things, becomes your best option.

Now, contrary to Conservative bluster no Nation can call itself the Greatest if we have to advise school children to run at a gun wielding madman because "he can't shoot all of us". If, we were such a great Nation, Americans would be able to move about their daily routinues without the fear that today is the day some aggrieved white mysognist is going to Run Amuck or some errant gang bangers rounds will kill you in your bedroom or a Right-Wing Domestic Terrorist is going to gun you down for the crime of supporting Obamacare.

Republicans and their Moneyed Masters in the Gun Lobby, would have you believe this is the best we can do, until that glorious day when everyone in America is armed with a Gun and the Kingdom of Gun Nut Heaven descends upon the Nation and creates Firearm Utopia. It's actually a strong indicator of a sick Nation ready to collapse in upon itself.

Guns are, in fact, a blight upon Us and are almost certain to lead to the downfall of our country. I don't state this as hyperbole but, as a fact. Most Empires are brought low by internal divisions, sometimes outright and sometimes by weakening that Nation so much as to allow some other peoples to conquer it.

Each mass shooting, has the effect of hardening the zealotry of the gun nuts, makes the gun humping maniacs cling tighter to their guns, and drives other gun cultists to purchase more guns. And the Gun Manufacturers further hype and enflame the situation because the more blood of Americans that is spilled the more money they make.

Despite the facts that more guns has not made America "safer" nor that stricter gun control, regulation and enforcement has worked in other Nations. We now have a hardened kernel of gun fanatics who want no restrictions of any kind on firearms, who want no prosecutions of negligent discharges, who want no enforcement of gun laws, who ensured legislation was passed in 2005 under a Republican Congress and W(orst POTUS in Histroy) to perpetually indemnify Gun Manufacturers from all lawsuits, who champion wild west style gun fights under the euphemism Stand Your Ground, and who are implictly and explicitly declaring that any such "infringments" will be met with murderous gun violence.

So, it's time we Fight. The Gun Lobby, the Gun Humping Madmen, and the Republican Party are the Gunmen that we face. They are the threat. They are the ones who profit off the deaths of Americans. Thye are the phony good guys with guns, until they get cut off in traffic, or until their girlfriend dumps them, or until Wayne LaPierre and Alex Jones convince them to kill Police Officers because of the Sandy Hook Hoax and Obama's Coming Gun Ban. But, until We, the People stand up and fight we will be held hostage to the Cult of the Gun.

Safer with a gun? (A response to Charles Hanna of West Dundee, Illinois)

Here is Mr. Charles Hanna of West Dundee, letter to the Chicago Tribune Voice of the People August 17, 2015:

It's 2 a.m. You and your family are asleep upstairs. You hear glass breaking and footsteps downstairs. You instruct your wife to dial 911. At the moment, you wouldn't want a gun near your bedside? (Statistically, it doesn't matter, right?)

Well, Statistically it does matter. Because guns in homes are far more often used to murder family members than kill Home Invaders.

So, here's a retort Charles.

Your wife is on the phone with 911. The Police are minutes away. You've got seconds. You pull out your P229.357 Sig Sauer from the nightstand, press check to make sure there's one in the chamber, and head downstairs. You don't turn on the lights because that will alert the Home Invader. You still hear noise downstairs. You spy the figure of a silhouette in the kitchen. You take aim and pull the trigger. And murder your teenage daughter. Because she went out while you were sleeping and when she tried to sneak back in accidentally knocked over a glass vase.

And this isn't even a fictional account.

Gun Cultists are always hyping the Two A.M. Scenario for the same reason Gun Nuts fabricate the claim that guns are used literally millions of times a year to stop crimes. It's also why the Republican Party bars the CDC from collecting data on injuries and deaths due to firearms. Profit.

Because insane Gun-Humping Fanatics, encouraged by deceitful NRA leadership and callous Lobbyists for the Firearms Industry, don't want Americans to know the Truth About Guns; that Guns kill more than 30,000 Americans and wound Thousands more every year, so the blood-soaked Gun Industry can continue to make Millions of Dollars of the Deaths of Americans.

Second Amendment Heroes taking the Country Back by threatening to Murder everyone who Opposes them

Gun Laws don't stop gun crime, in the same way that a Red Light doesn't stop a speeding car.

If we're relying on the abilities of the Firearm Fuckers to make sure guns are used properly and stored responsibly the death toll at the hands of Second Amendment Heroes will continue.

It's no wonder the United States has the highest rates of Homicide and Suicide by Firearm in the developed world. What's needed is enforcement, but gun humpers resist regulations with the fanaticism of religious zealots.

Right-Wing buffoons like to claim the US Constitution only restricts the Government's interaction with US Citizens. But, of course as with most topics, they are wrong; an everyday American can infringe on your Constitutional Rights just like the Government. Granted the Government is a special category and needs special constraints and oversight especially when evil Republicans are in power but, what the NRA, at the behest of the Firearm Manufacturing Masters, have been pushing is to allow private citizens unlimited power, especially the power to kill other Americans, without restrictions.

Second Amendment Heroes have been using this power to murder Americans, without Due Process, thus depriving American Citizens of their Rights. This used to be called Murder but thanks to the efforts of the NRA and the Republican Party it's euphemistically known as Stand Your Ground or more accurately Dead Men Tell No Tales so Kill the Other Guy and Lie just like Conservative Champion George Zimmerman.

Another Faux News 2A Super Hero Byron Smith got to do what every fanatic has dreamt of since Bernie Goetz, gun down criminals. Smith however, wasn't accosted on a NY City subway, he laid out a burglary trap which caught two young teenagers whom he murdered. (Warning: At the link you hear Smith execute the two young people Haile Kifer, 18 and Nick Brady, 17.)

I am not a bleeding heart liberal. I felt like I was cleaning up a mess. Not like spilled food. Not like vomit. Not even like diarrhea, the worst mess possible. In some tiny little respect I was doing my civic duty. The law enforcement system wouldn’t do it, I had to do it. I had to do it. They weren’t human. I don’t see them as human. I see them as vermin."

No reasonable person would grant Byron Smith the power of Judge, Jury and Executioner. I mention no reasonable person, because the NRA and Firearm Fuckers are the epitome of Unreasonable. 

(Jennifer) Longdon is no stranger to such attacks. Last May in her hometown of Phoenix, she helped coordinate a gun buyback program with local police over three weekends. On the first Saturday, a group of men assembled across the street from the church parking lot where Longdon was set up. They shouted about constitutional rights and tyranny, and called people arriving to trade in their guns "sellouts." (The program netted nearly 2,000 firearms with more than $200,000 in reimbursements.) 

Some of them approached Longdon. "You know what was wrong with your shooting?" one said. "They didn't aim better." Another man came up, looked Longdon up and down and said, "I know who you are." Then he recited her home address. The harassment continued, and the men showed up throughout the program, a Phoenix police official involved confirmed to me. 

After a fundraiser one night during the program, Longdon returned home around 10 p.m., parked her ramp-equipped van and began unloading herself. As she wheeled up to her house, a man stepped out of the shadows. He was dressed in black and had a rifle, "like something out of a commando movie," Longdon told me. He took aim at her and pulled the trigger. Longdon was hit with a stream of water. "Don't you wish you had a gun now, bitch?" he scoffed before taking off.

In April, Nathan Deal Governor of Georgia signed into law the ability of anyone to bring a gun anywhere in the State.

Immediately afterwards a Georgia Second Amendment Hero took out his piece and walked around the parking lot of a Little League Baseball game reportedly showing it to every mother, father and child in attendance proudly telling them there was nothing they could do about it.

One mother reported her 6 year old son asked her after the game, 'Mommy did that man want to kill me?' Probably not, but he wanted them all to know he could in fact kill them, with extreme prejudice and without fear of criminal prosecution.

Since Firearm Fuckers like to sarcastically ask, 'What gun law would have stopped this mass shooting?' How will the Guns Everywhere Law in Georgia stop shootings?

The two usual claims Gun Nuts cite; are the Murderous Gunman will re-think his planned rampage knowing that multiple people could be carrying a firearm themselves or the Concealed Carry Citizen will end the shooting by taking out the gunman.

Georgia is conducting a Social Experiment in which, the Gun Maniacs are willing to gamble with people's lives.

Now, a third claim made by Gun Nuts is that regulations and gun-free zones lead to Shootings. Often they will cite Chicago. But, the Second Amendment heroes in Chicago are extremely grateful for the NRA and loosening gun laws across the Nation. Of 50,000 guns recovered and traced after crime in Chicago 56% (28,000) came from outside Illinois. And of the other 22,000 from Illinois, the majority originated outside Cook County and Chicago's city limits.

So, what's the actual problem with Chicago's Gun Laws? That neighboring states, communities and Gun Nuts are lax and allow criminals to get their hands on easily obtainable weapons.

So, as you read the weekend tallies of Gun Shot Victims in Chicago just remember the majority of victims were shot with a firearm stolen from some conservative dumbass who left his gun on the seat of his pickup when he went to met his sister at the local Tug Shack in Mississippi or Firearm Makers in their zeal to flood every community ship their machines without proper safeguards and protections to keep them out of the hands of criminals,

13 Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport rifles were stolen from a (rail) yard in the 6100 block of South Lafayette Avenue sometime between May 4 and 6, according to the ATF. 

The assault rifles were taken from a load of 50 weapons in a Norfolk Southern container, according to a railroad spokesman.

Currently firearms are one of the top three items stolen in any burglary; money and jewelry being the other two. So, technological advancements which render a stolen firearm useless to the thief would seem to be a welcome invention. 

Firearm Fondlers like to claim advances in technological progress do not render the Second Amendment obsolete, yet when Belinda Padilla, Armatix, and the iP1 a RFID chipped firearm tried to bring the weapon to the American Market they were immediately set upon by the Firearm Fanatics at the behest of the NRA.

Unfortunately, the NRA is against such technology. Because the NRA and other Gun Lunatic Clubs exist to ensure Gun Manufacturers can sell more and more weapons. Such technological weapons progress would cut into their sales and is therefore not a welcome advance.

Regulation of Firearms and Firearm Owners is needed but it's an impossibility. No amount of dead children at a school in Connecticut or on the streets of Chicago have caused the NRA or Gun Owners to question their beliefs, indeed it has only served to harden the hearts and close the minds of Firearm Fanatics.

Hopefully, the next generation of Americans who grow up having lost a childhood friend by a gun will have the courage and resolve to Right the Monstrous Wrong the NRA, Republican Party and Firearm Fuckers have inflicted and continue to inflict upon the Nation.

Here's a Warning Shot: Guns "Save" Lives but, Bullets Don't

Thanks to ALEC, the NRA, and Gun Maniacs have ensured that every minor scuffle and verbal argument is going to become a shooting or worse a gun fight.

The latest Hero of the Second Amendment, Curtis Reeves, gunned down texting bad guy Chad Oulson when their argument reached the stage of Loud Voice and Red Face. Just as the NRA wants; someone disrespects you? BLAM! Some elderly alzheimer patient flouting your Commands? BLAM! Somebody using your driveway to turn around? BLAM! Someone texting during the previews? BLAM!

Of course, there have been Two School Shootings and hundreds more shot across the Country in the week since Reeves murdered Oulson.

In the wake of the Florida Movie texter murder, the NRA, ALEC and Gun Lunatics are not pausing to reconsider their ideas but are pushing forward so that Total Unrestrained and Unrestricted Gun Violence is the "Law" of the Land.

The NRA's paid Republicans are now pushing for Warning Shots and Aggressive Weapon Displays and Flagrant Flagging to be lawfully protected activities in Florida. The ignorance of what bullets actually do when fired just proves again that Gun Lunatics, who routinely accuse gun control advocates of not understanding weapons, are the ones who don't understand the tools in their possession.

Just because you want teachers patroling schools with Squad Automatic Weapons doesn't mean WE, the PEOPLE do.

But, this is the way Gun Maniacs always frame the issue. Second Amendment! Freedom! Protecting Schools! Ask them for details about where Teachers weapons will be stored during the school day, what level of training a teacher will undergo and whom exactly will pay, how many clearing barrels and gun safes the school will have, what kind of sling the gym teacher will use since he can't have a belt holster with his athletic shorts and how many "accidental discharge" casaualties are acceptable to the NRA and Pro-Gun Violence Republicans and you'll get no answer other than an angry denunciation of Gun-Grabbers!!! 

As Ultra-Reactionary thinking has been thrust upon the Nation and endlessly championed by paid shills of the Plutocracy, these extremist positions, where Republican Senate Candidate Bright or Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia just do not possess the range of thought and can't figure out how to keep RPGs and SAWs off the streets because Derp! Second Amendment! become more entrenched in the emotive recesses of the hermetically sealed right-wing brain.

But, this is what the NRA wants. They want people shooting and murdering each other with Guns. They want people going everywhere armed, ready to shoot at whatever goes bump in the night. Be it their 14 year old step-daughter or the mad delusions of their unconscious minds. They want a Nation consumed by Unrestricted Gun Violence.

Are Shooting Rampages "Shocking" or Newsworthy Anymore? Gun Nuts love to Blame the Victim

So, when I started this post there had already been two mass shooting rampages in the week just before Halloween, now there have been Four Mass Shootings in the span of four days resulting in 21 people killed.

As soon as absolutely nothing happened after 20 children, 4 teachers, and the principal were slaughtered at Newton, Connecticut I knew Firearm Manufacturers and Gun Crazies had definitively won.

I should have realized this after, the Dark Knight of Aurora Colorado or when 3 Pennsylvania Police Officers were murdered by Right-Wing Hero Richard Poplawski because Glenn Beck told him Obama was comin' fer his guns, or when Mike Huckabee's best friend Maurice Clemmons murdered 4 Seattle Police Officers or when a Pennsylvania man shot 12 women, killing three at a yoga studio because he hadn't had sex in 20 years or when a Faux News fueled white-power Hero killed 6 Sikhs in Milwaukee because they're really "muslin" terrorists or when 17 people were shot, 13 of them killed, in an upstate New York immigration center or after any of the several hundred mass shooting events we've had in this country.

After each of these incidents, and following the dozens of Mass Shooting Since Newton, Gun Nuts have merely dug themselves in deeper and lashed out at anyone who dares to try and bring any sanity back to our Nation through Laws.

But, now I know despite all the rhetoric; Despite all the pleas to "Freedom", "Against Tyranny", "Shall Not be infringed"; The entire NRA position and Gun Nuts argument is Nothing More than Blaming the Victim. The victims were shot because they didn't have a gun.

Now, it's slightly more complicated for Gun Makers because their industry is fueled by blood money and Mass Shootings generate more profits for Firearm Manufacturers when they happen but, when a Holy god-blessed Second Amendment Hero goes forth and kills a bunch of children and innocent people, pro-gun advocates and Internet trolls simply blame the victim for being shot, clench their teeth and call everyone libtards.

And that's that.

There was a shooting incident at Los Angeles Airport and all the Gun Cultists who descend upon these internet postings can do is fault LAX for being a Gun-Free Zone and proclaim the Gun Laws of California don't work.

Sigh. Laws against Thievery have been around since Hammurabi yet we still have thefts.

No Law in and of itself will ever stop a crime. Enforcement is needed. And what we need now is the Department of Justice to drop it's silly and ineffective Drug War and go after all segments of the Cult of the Gun. Until then all of Us are living our lives under threat from the Pro-Gun Crazies, until we all become just another shooting casualty, sacrificed at the Whims of Madmen.

Reason Magazine commenters are celebrating the murder of the TSA worker, glibly complaining that of course the evil government will use it to crack down on the poor, poor persecuted Libertarians and that the shooter identified as Paul A. Ciancia was obviously a leftist because he had anti-government views.

Another Mass Shooting and the Dance of the Plum Crazy Gun Cultists begins once more.

Faux News sent out their pretty little bleach blonde to decry... Video Games. Joe Scarbourgh followed the standard script as he declared it's too soon to talk about Politics vis-a-vis Gun Control and then followed it up with the right-wing buffoonery of Could You Imagine If Bush had given a political speech on the day of the shooting;

"Can you imagine what certain people at this network would have said?" Scarborough asked. "Mika would be killing George W., everyone here on this network would be killing George W."

Except of course, George W(orst President Ever) Bush did just that on April 16, 2007 the day of the Virginia Tech Mass Shooting, when W yelled at Congress for failing to give him another few hundred Billion in Supplemental War Spending for the Glorious Iraq War.

Then Brave Gun Hugging Crazies sporting Internet Muscles immediately descend on ever news story threatening anyone daring to speak of Gun Control while the NRA prepares to spend millions to eliminate any politician who dares to introduce legislation aimed at curtailing the Unrestricted Gun Violence which is the new normal in America.

This is what the Gun Cultists always do, It's too soon! It's too soon! Liberals don't use reason they're relying on emotion! We have to wait! It's despicable to politicize this tragedy! Shut Up! Shut Up! Shut Up! Then after enough time, the Gun Cultists declare well it's too late to mention the specifics of that particular Mass Shooting Now!

A certain segement of out society believes in their inalienable rights to own a gun without any restrictions despite the fact that the Second Amendment reads,

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Despite the fact that "Arms" in late 18th century parlance meant a brace of flintlock pistols, a muzzle-loading blunderbuss, a dirk and a small sword or claymore. There are no restrictions that Gun Cultists will support because they are fanatics.

There is a certain segment of our society which believes it is their right to strut around in heavily trafficked public places with whatever weapon they wish to display. This has happened several times, most recently, when two young entitled white men strapped their AR-15s to their backs and attended a Wisconsin Farmer's Market.

These incidents fail the reasonableness test. Walking around a shopping center, a park, or a farmer's market with a conspicuous long gun is not done for personal protection but as a display of power or privilege and the equivalent of a primate genital display meant to overawe and cow their "opponents".

When I see someone walking around with an AR-15, uncased, magazine inserted, slung tactically (or not) on them, my first assumption is Mass Shooting Incident imminent.

More Guns have not made Americans safer. It's absolutely proven by the mass shooting incidents and  a study just released by the American Journal of Public Health. The study led by Boston University researcher Dr. Michael Siegel,

covering 30 years (1981-2010) in all 50 states found a "robust correlation" between estimated levels of gun ownership and actual gun homicides at the state level, even when controlling for factors typically associated with homicides. For each 1 percentage point increase in the prevalence of gun ownership, the state firearm homicide rate increases by 0.9 percent.

But, the Gun Manufacturers have an incestuous symbiotic relationship with the NRA. There's Huge amounts of Money to be made through the selling of weapons to America.

Of course, the money is soaked in the blood of innocents and dead children but what does that matter to Sig Sauer CEO Ron Cohen, Smith & Wesson CEO James Debney, Wayne LaPierre or David Keene?
