If Voting ever changed anything, they'd make it Illegal... Enter the Three Trump appointed MAGA Fascists of the Odious 5th Circuit

3 Republican Judges of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals have ruled it is illegal to count ballots in Mississippi because when people vote, Republicans lose.

With deplorable shit-eating grins these 3 MAGA Fascist Injustices declared,

Congress statutorily designated a singular ‘day for the election’ of members of Congress and the appointment of presidential electors.  Text, precedent, and historical practice confirm this ‘day for the election’ is the day by which ballots must be both cast by voters and received by state officials.

As Lawyers, Guns, and Money have so often stated about Republican Judges this is an argument from Seinfeld, that the Card Says Moops.  These type of Bureaucratic Coups using legalese and byzantine wording of laws receive scant news coverage other than the day the ruling is received but, are big source of successful efforts of Republican voter suppression and disenfranchisement.

Steve Vladeck believes this bullshit decision won't actually come into play this election cycle, but, is designed to give John Roberts and the insidious Six Supremacist Judges a chance to strike down key parts of the mail-in voting, which are used by 18 States and Washington D.C.

And in fact the MAGA Fascists Judges James Ho, Kyle Duncan and Andrew Oldham of the 5th Circuit do close their brief with the Wash their Hands Clean excuse, Today's decision says nothing about remedies.  We decline to grant plaintiffs' request for an immediate injunction...

And the three Judges then made a sop to the Sinister Six Injustices of the Surpemacist Court by referencing Boofer O'Kavanaugh's anti-democracy ruling,

As Justice Kavanaugh recently emphasized: “To state the obvious, a State cannot conduct an election without deadlines . . . A deadline is not un- constitutional merely because of voters’ own failures to take timely steps toensure their franchise.” Democratic Nat’l Comm. v. Wis. State Legislature, 141 S. Ct. 28, 33 (2020) 

As, the too cool for school Gen X saying goes, "If Voting ever changed anything, they'd make it Illegal..."  John Roberts, especially, has worked his entire career to making voting harder, less accessible, and more difficult because Republicans don't want you to vote and don't want you to have a voice in any portion of the United States Government.

Like all Republicans John Roberts, and his toady 5th Circuit believes the United States should be a Neo-Feudal White Supremacist Ehtno-State.  From now until Tuesday Nov 5th you still have a chance to vote and to have your vote count.  But, like cackling jackals and rapacious hyenas Project 2025 and MAGA are waiting for you to let your guard down so they can snatch your Franchise from you and create the Fascist Fundamentalist dystopia  of their dreams.

In fact, their feelings are all that matter to MAGA Republicans; Facts are irrelevant and often detrimental to them, therefore Facts (and Truth and Reality) are jettisoned for their preferred narrative. 

This is nowhere more evident with January 6th.  As the saying goes Fuck Around Find Out (FAFO).  I happened upon the so-called MAGA Derek Zoolander, a disreputable chap named John Strand.  Strand is a January 6th criminal who was arrested, charged, and incarcerated for his part in the violent Trump-led successful attempt to halt the peaceful  transfer of power and thus far unsuccessful attempt to overthrow the Government of the United States.

Since his actions on that day, he's fully embraced the Jan6th persecuted political prisoners victimized by the Biden Department of Justice, Kamala Harris Department of Justice.  He calls himself a J6 hostage, repeats the lies about the event itself being peaceful & patriotic, and claims he did nothing wrong.  Of course, when Strand was flush with the excitement of that day, entering the Capitol to trash the place and stop the certification, exuberant, arms raised in triumph he stated, "We stormed the Capitol, it's Insane." and declared himself "amongst the first dozen patriots" who "literally made history just now".

But, as the official spokesmodel of the criminals, besides grifting for money, he's also taken to bemoaning that he and his fellow criminals are facing justice while pushing ridiculous lies about other Jan6th Insurrectionists.  So, Strand pushed the bogus claim about the convicted criminal Texas couple Mark and Jalise Middleton, who were convicted in Federal Court and sentenced and are now going to serve their sentence.

According to trial evidence and police body-worn camera footage, as the officers struggled with the group of rioters, a male individual, later identified as Mark Middleton, pushed against the barricades and the police line with his body. Officers are heard on body-worn camera footage repeatedly ordering Mark Middleton and others to “Get back!” In response, Mark Middleton is heard yelling “f— you!” as he continued to push against the police barricades. Evidence showed that Mark Middleton resisted MPD officers, grabbed onto an MPD officer’s left hand or wrist, and pulled the officer forward towards the crowd.

            At the same time, a female individual, later identified as Jalise Middleton, is seen on body-worn camera footage repeatedly grabbing and striking the same officer over the barricade with her hand. Another officer then approached to assist, and Jalise Middleton struck that officer as well. Video footage shows that the couple continued to grapple with and strike at the officers, and attempt to pull an officer into the crowd, as various flags were jabbed toward the officers’ faces.

            MPD officers later deployed a chemical spray, forcing the Middletons to retreat from the barricaded line. Both defendants later posted social media messages touting their key role in helping to breach the barricades by fighting officers and that they had only stopped due to pepper spray.

But, Strand posted this beautiful peaceful couple were in prayer and attacked from behind by the Police and are victims of Kamala Harris weaponization of the Department of Justice and thousands of replies on Elon Musk's Nazi Twitter pile on this miscarriage of justice and hope for the day when they can slaughter as many Democrats as possible.  Are the replies bots?  I don't know.  What matters is the lies Republicans tell themselves and their followers and the Fear & Anger rightwingers manifest in themselves as they believe and incestuously amplify their lies to each other.

This, by the way, explains the entire allure of senile traitor Trump.  MAGA zealots see him stride through American society like a colossus, flouting all conventions, actively ignoring Laws, getting away with massive scams and schemes which would land any of them into jail, all the while the Corporate Media kowtows and fawns over his every word, deed, and action.  Trump takes what he wants, does what he wants, shits on those who displease him, encourages hatred and death upon those who oppose him.  This is what they want to be and by latching onto him they gain some small portion of that invulnerability. 

So, as the Trump train reaches its' final stop this November 5th there are going to be a lot of desperate, financially and legally strapped people, with few options, and less hope.  Those are the sort of people who can be induced to act out.  They did so on January 6th, 2021 and when Trump calls on them to do it again...  well I don't know what's going to happen and while I doubt there will be any large-scale violence,  Republicans are going to do something.  Be prepared and don't be caught unawares.  If you can be brave do so but, protect yourself and your loved ones and be ready to defend America from another Republican led attack on Freedom and Democracy.

My home is bracketed by two rich recently retired old white men and their dutiful wives.  Now, everyone on my block knows I'm a Police Officer without me telling them.  So, it came as a massive surprise to them when in 2016, I didn't support the racist rapist senile criminal traitor for the White House.

So, when I got my VoteVets for Harris/Walz sign for my front yard, they each responded with a Trump/Vance sign!  And since then every week they've added a new Trump sign and now each has 5 signs in his yard including the pictured Law Enforcement and Veterans for Trump signs.

Now, here's the thing neither of these two are law enforcement and neither are Veterans.  Yet they have no compunction in placing those signs in their yards.  I really want to troll them and get a Blacks for Trump sign and put it up next to theirs...  but, it's quite possible they might add that one themselves.

Joker to the Right

Of all the most pathetic displays of servile obsequiousness by Trump supporters, the flood of signage and flags festooning their mansions and massive $100K coal-rolling trucks has to be most pathetic. 

Remember, Trump's MAGA core strongest component are the well-to-do American Boyars.  These types comprised the core Jan6th supporters, like these two rich sons of the Northbrook based Kulas Maids, wearing their most chic Burberry attire to the riot. 

Veterans, of course, recognize Trump for what he is and voted against him in 2020.  Of course, Trump lies constantly and claims Veterans and active-duty Service Members support him.  Traitor Trump is a boorish asshole who's never cared about anyone other than himself and views every interaction in terms of how he can get the "best deal" for himself by whatever means it's been no surprise to see Trump repeatedly shit and spit on Veterans, their families, and military service members.  Trump also routinely exploits peoples' grief and trauma, as seen in his despicable desecration of Arlington National Cemetery and the rampant lies and falsehoods he's sowing around FEMA and the Hurricane relief. 

Now, Cops are a different matter entirely.  I'm probably one of the furthest left Officers I've ever encountered in almost 20 years and I've encountered some outright fascist wannabes.  And of course there's segment of "Law Enforcement" who yearn to be unleashed in the same way MAGA fantasizes about getting Trump in the White House so they can visit all manners of evils on the people.

And that's the entire key to Trump's charisma and his cult;  Trump says all manner of evil lies as a way to give his most hateful the permission structure they are going to need to do the evil things they want to do.

But, one of the reasons I don't believe there will be any large scale uprising; despite the dreams of paid Putin operative Tim Poole, is what would these two old turds would be willing to do?  Certainly, in this age of rightwing stochastic terrorism you can never guess when one registered Republican will conduct a terrorist attack on America but, battalion-sized or higher concentrations of conservative traitors?  Led by that coward Josh Hawley in Missouri?  Or Tom Cotton?  Or even Mike Flynn at his traitorous compound in Sarasota, Florida?  I'm doubtful.

Joe Biden's Legacy, handing the mantle to Kamala Harris, and the Future of the Nation

 If anyone (in the upper levels of Government) knows heartbreak and the unfairness of life it's Joe Biden.  Much of his political career has been built upon the his personal tragedies and tribulations.

President Joe Biden can look back on 4 years of success and having saved the Nation in 2020.  From defeating Trump in the election, to battling Covid, withdrawing from Afghanistan, the Infrastructure bill, student debt reduction, the price of Insulin, the re-rise of Labor and Unions, a diverse Executive Branch, the re-establishment of NATO and allies across the World to present a combined front against the Rebirth of Authoritarianism.  But, no matter how great any one person is Time wins in the end.  Even all-time greats, usually hailed with the pointedly misapplied label of "Immortals" in sports eventually have to retire.  Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky...

Look Republicans lie about everything.  We can't stop them.  We can be livid that the Corporate Media doesn't hold them to account but, that's because the Corporate Media serves the same Plutocratic Masters the Republicans do.  The Rich and their Media mouthpieces want another Trump Presidency because of what he offers them.  It's an unfair system which elevates a piece of shit Traitor and lifelong criminal like Trump to prominence.  But, the rightwing attacks on Joe Biden about his age, just received a massive piece of corroborating evidence, during the debate.  We ignore the way Joe came off to everyday Americans at our and our Nation's peril.

Joe Biden was right to ignore Social Media trolls in 2020 and he's been right to hold the Corporate Media in contempt for how they cover politics as mouthpieces for Corporate Interests and the Rich.  But, the Corporate Media wants to claim a skin and will not stop writing the Doddering Old Joe Biden stories.  If we don't interrupt that narrative, if the Biden Team can't counteract it before the Convention, pants-shitting vile Traitor Trump won't have to do anything to coast to victory.

There's no point in looking back and saying, 'Oh Joe should have announced he was a one-term President' at some point.  It didn't happen.  We have to look forward as the Democratic Convention is set to arrive in Chicago in a few weeks.

Kamala Harris has to be the Democratic nominee for President in 2024.  For the Good of the Nation Joe Biden has to recognize, that no matter how utterly unfair the situation is, he must step aside and pass the torch to Kamala Harris.

And yes I know the Corporate Media will slag the fuck out of Harris, and on-line bigots (Left and Right) will smear her with just abhorrent racist and misogynist slanders.  But, Harris has to be able to deal with it.  Kamala has to pick a good candidate for Vice-President and We, the People have to elect them.

If we don't then rightwing State-Sanctioned Violence is coming.  Not immediately.  Stephen Miller spoke of the "Staging Grounds" as euphemism for modern day concentration camps.  But, Trump will have Joe and Hunter Biden arrested and imprisioned awaiting trial.  Warrants will be issued for Hillary Clinton, a bunch of false documents about President Obama will be circulated because the Rightwing Media will know these won't unduly alarm most Americans who will shrug and say well if they did crimes then arrest them.  FBI agents who dared testify against Trump and his criminal cabal will be forced to retire and those who dared to show open contempt for Trump will be arrested, and again Americans will shrug and say well we know there's corruption in law enforcement.  And the fascist temperature will ratchet up another notch as "Illegals" will be arrested en masse, and Vice Raids will be conducted for Gay Bars and Transpeople whom any good Faux News listener knows are grooming children.  Chaya Raichik will head the new Task Force to deprogram LGBTQ.  

I could go on but, what's important is staving off this potential Fascist Future which the Heritage Foundation calls the Second American Revolution, but it going to take the bold decision to move on past Joe Biden, a man who has served his country and suffered numerous personal tragedies and unfair setbacks.  It's time for Kamala Harris to step up and for the Democratic Party to unite.

The Supremacist Court rules when Trump does it, it is not illegal

I wrote before that Traitor Trump broke The Law in a fundamental way.  Well, the Sinister Six of the Supremacist Court just declared any "Official Act" of Traitor Trump axiomatically confers Immunity.  And what is an "Official Act"?  Why anything we say it is, up to and including overthrowing the United States Government.

The Trump Immunity ruling was just one of multiple decisions from these 6 Feudal Overlords completely making a mockery of the heralded Rule of Law...

A Nation of Laws, not Men... nonsense.

"The Law" is whatever Republicans say it is anyone hoping guardrails and Institutions will protect us as they barely fucking did during Trump's first reign is fooling themselves.  The 6 Injustices have taken power in this Nation and their goal like all Republicans is to Rule or Ruin.  If they can't have control of all levers of power well they will make those levers unusable, inaccessible, or unenforceable. 

Most people don't pay attention to the Supreme Court at all and this won't get the Corporate Media headlines (like wall-to-wall coverage of BIDEN DROP OUT got) because Corporate Media serves Corporate Interests.

The reality is most people will be unaffected (at first) so they won’t do anything in response to what is coming.  Eventually, people might recognize things suck for them as companies simply violate clean air and water regulations or clear cut National Parks but, that's when the Rightwing Media Machine will kick into high gear and blame the Immigrants and Transgenders for American's woes.  Those few individuals who do feel that resistance is called for will face the full fury of the Federal law enforcement apparatus without all of Trumps special privileges.

John Roberts has laid the foundation for an American military dictatorship.  Trump, or more accurately his cabal of vile acolytes have a plan to institute the monstrous regime.  I still have hope that the ground-level Police Officer, National Guardsman, or Army Reservist will balk at orders to round-up and execute millions of people but, that is a slender thread to rest the Soul of the Nation upon.  Most people due to personal fear, lassitude, or animosity will go along with what's ordered because hey Trump's President therefore what he (or more precisely Stephen Miller) is ordering is perfectly legal and didn't the Supreme Court rule Official Acts confer immunity?

Understand the playbook is the same as it always is for Fascists.  They'll target the weakest or the most maligned and powerless segments of society;  undocumented (Hispanic) immigrants and the members of the LGBTQ+ community.  But, it never stops there and already the rules and "laws" are in place to enslave women.  Republican controlled States are already enforcing Christianity and melding Church and State.  Even your 1st Amendment rights are contingent on the Surpemacist Court's give-and-take shell game.

Right now, all isn't lost.  But, even if Joe Biden pulls off a win in 2024 we are balanced on the knife's edge of America becoming a full-fledged Fascist Ethnostate.  Don't give in to despair.  I acknowledge your feelings and fears and share them.  But, we can stave off defeat in November 2024.  And then fight day-to-day to keep a winning streak going.  

Fascists win we you give up and give in.  Don't!

Republicans hate America 22 : Tradwife Katie Britt breathy lies

 You can tell how much Republicans hate you by how easily they lie to you.  It's despicable and shameless and designed with one goal in mind place their rightwing drones into a constant state of Fear & Anger.

Katie Britt started off her State of the Union response by claiming Senator isn't here job,

My name is Katie Britt, and I have the honor of serving the people of the great state of Alabama in the United States Senate.  However, that’s not the job that matters most.  I’m a proud wife and mom of two school-aged kids.

So... one of the most powerful people in the United States Government and therefore the world claims not to be a politician.  I've mentioned before that every Republican runs as an "Outsider" like Wisconsin Drunk Van Orden claims on his campaign website. It's so fucking trite and insulting and the Corporate Media lets them get away with it constantly. Trump claimed to love the title of "Outsider" in a Feb 2024 interview with Maria Bartolomo on Faux News. 

But, Britt's horrific creepy lie-fest was punctuated with one of the most brazen lies of omission yet tried by a Republican. First though, Britt's weird breathy voice is a "virtue signal" to the Fascist Fundamentalists that she's a docile Tradwife, as this "Fundie Baby Voice" has been adopted by evangelical and female TikTok influencers and is immediately recognized by the faithful.

And much has been made of Britt's attempts to go from happy warrior, to tearful mother, to assertive but not angry woman, all while Republicans told her to smile more during her empty Kitchen response.  Britt’s Kitchen was as empty and bereft as she is of morals, ethics, and principles.

But, Britt told a tale of woman subjected to horrific sexual violence from the time she was child. 

I traveled to the Del Rio sector of Texas, where I spoke to a woman who shared her story with me. She had been sex trafficked by the cartels starting at age 12. She told me not just that she was raped every day, but how many times a day she was raped.

We wouldn’t be OK with this happening in a third-world country. This is the United States of America, and it’s past time we start acting like it.

President Biden’s border crisis is a disgrace. It’s despicable. And it’s almost entirely preventable.

Now, I am in no way discounting this women's tale of violence and trauma or saying the story is untrue but, Britt's Lie is in telling this story as though it's a direct result of President Biden's border policies. It isn't.

The woman in question, Karla Jacinto Romero, is an incredibly brave activist who has told her story of subjugation and sexual abuse for decades now. Former AP report Jonathan Katz uncovered this and I recommend watching his video essay detailing the fundamental dishonesty in Britt's recounting of the incident.  I suppose in an irony of ironies despicable liar Katie Britt didn't even "SAY HER NAME" during this shameless co-option of Karla's trauma.

This is a shocking level of insincerity and brazen dishonesty which and I want you be clear, NO LONGER FUCKING MATTERS anymore. Republicans have successfully groomed and cultivated a cult and have no need to worry about lies, slander, misconduct, or even criminal conspiracies harming their electoral chances.

This was merely Britt's biggest lie as her awkward code switching and her stern breathy voice bore FALSE WITNESS against the President.  But, while on line Republican operatives were angry at Britt’s terrible presentation the right wing doesnt care about Britt's shameless.  Retreating to the well-worn canard, 'Oh they all lie. Especially Biden! He's the biggest liar' and therefore having condemned all politicians as exactly the same they absolve themselves of any moral conundrum in voting for Republicans, which is the whole fucking point of Corporate Media BothSides rhetoric, false equivocation, and constant push to excuse Republican perfidy.

We are in for a fight everyone.  Republicans hate You.  Do what you can to defeat these Republican monsters in the November Election because they see Trump's election, the Six Supreme Court Injustices, the compliant Corporate Media, and Authoritarianism Rising with in Europe, in South America, and the Fanatical Genocidal Wars in Ukraine and Gaza as the perfect opportunity to finally destroy the United States of America and replace it with a MAGA Empire held aloft by the pillars of White Supremacy, Corporate Hegemony, and Fascist Fundamentalism.

The Fascist Florida Project: Ron DeSSantis hates SSI but loves his personal SS

It appears the only thing which is going to save the Untied States from a Fascist Ron DeSSantis Presidency is Ron DeSantis himself.  The stench of dead fish Red Tide wafts not only from Florida beaches but from Ron himself.

The Corporate Media were stepping all over their own dicks to anoint DeSSantis the next Republican candidate for President! back in May, since then the unlikeable smarmy DeSSantis has steadily dropped and as the more the people see of him the less they like.

Republicans are coming for your Social Security.  They absolutely are coming to steal it and slash the social safety net to shreds.  And they brazenly contradict themselves because their brainwashed rightwing drones can't vote for the baby blood drinking Democrats.   Which is as horrible as it is predictable.  But, it's absolutely terrifying DeSSantis has stood up and recreated a Brownshirt Paramilitary Organization;

A Florida state guard established by the rightwing governor, Ron DeSantis, under the guise of a civilian disaster relief force is instead being trained as an armed, combat-ready militia under his personal command, according to military veteran recruits who have quit the program.

• There are multiple frightening takeaways:
• The psychological and abusive physical tactics used against good-meaning people who signed up, including disabled Veterans.
• Getting the Florida Legislature to drop rules adopted in 2022 of using this group as a disaster response force in Florida and changing their mission to "law enforcement", including outside the state and against "illegal immigration".
• Expanding the budget from $10 to $100 million to purchase military equipment.

“The program got hijacked and turned into something that we were trying to stay away from: a militia,” said Brian Newhouse, a retired 20-year Navy veteran who was chosen to lead one of the State Guard’s three divisions. The original leadership team envisioned a disaster response team of veterans and civilians with a variety of practical skills, according to Newhouse. Two other former military veterans, who asked not to be named for fear of potential consequences and later quit, expressed similar concerns over a change in the State Guard’s mission

Oh, this is a militia only in the sense that the SA (Sturmabteilung) were a militia in 1930's Germany.  From Yale University Timothy Snyder's 20 Lessons of fighting Tyranny from the Twentieth Century . 

Be wary of paramilitaries. When the men with guns who have always claimed to be against the system start wearing uniforms and marching around with torches and pictures of a Leader, the end is nigh. When the pro-leader paramilitary and the official police and military intermingle, the end has come.

This Florida State Guard will end up mimicking the treasonous South Carolina State Militia at Fort Sumter in 1861 if Casey DeSantis has her way.  Understand none of this is concerning whatsoever to millions of conservatives.  Republicans and Rightwingers don't believe in principles of limited government and don't distrust the State.  Republicans yearn to meld the power of their rightwing paramilitary terrorist groups with the legal apparatus of the Department of Justice and mete out "Justice" to the Non-MAGA.  Conservatives jettisoned their so-called beliefs, morals, and ethics long ago, Donald John Traitor Trump merely gave them the green light to let their Fascist Flags Fly.

There is no fundamental difference between today's Republican Party and Apartheid South Africa, the Slave Masters of the Confederacy or Nazi Germany.  The only difference is the power the American GOP wields.

Understand it's not just Pudding Fingers Ron who is determined to make Florida Fascist and Make America Florida.  Recall the things floated and implemented by the Republican Florida Legislature:

• Blog Registration
• Menstrual cycle tracking for all pre-teen and High School girls in the State.
• Arresting black people for voting 
• State interfering with Americans medical care 
• Crushing Pride Month - “First we need to crush Pride Month.  We need to bend our civil rights laws to make it actionable legally for when they do do that because it’s an anti-Christian hate symbol.” - Florida elected Fascist Anthony Sabatini 

These are just some of the egregious overreach by DeSSantis and his pliant Legislature.  A key component of fascist rule is to issue contradictory, confusing, or chaotic rules and to place the onus on well-meaning persons to enforce them.  You then become an unwitting pawn in advancing the rightwing agenda.  Timothy Snyder listed this as his 1st Rule of wannabe Tyrants and authoritarian groups like the Florida Republicans;

Do not obey in advance. Much of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, and then start to do it without being asked. You’ve already done this, haven’t you? Stop. Anticipatory obedience teaches authorities what is possible and accelerates unfreedom.

The Fascists Next Door 4: Idaho, Ohio, Arizona, Pennsylvania! Everywhere! All at Once!

Idaho has always been a wild ungovernable tribal region, safely ignored for many years.  Well... now that Republicans have outlawed all Abortions, they also demand that no one talk about it.  Also birth control is now effectively illegal in Idaho.

In Pennsylvania, GQP Governor candidate Doug Mastriano believes women who have abortions should be tried for murder.

Republicans have passed the Fascist Event Horizon and a rapidly approaching the Naked Singularity of Outright Nazism.  The GQP is never coming back.  Whatever Republicans were or claimed to be in the past is dead.  Now, the Zombie Corpse of the GQP stalks the Nation killing each state that they can and turning them into Reactionary Undead Ghouls preying upon the remaining body of the Untied States.

Republicans Hate America.  Their goals ideology, beliefs, and actions are all inimical to the United States.  I can see no way forward to live with these ghastly monsters.  Everything they propose; from white-washing history, imposing jingoistic education, shackling women into perpetual baby making slavery, murdering LGBTQ persons, reducing minorities to second-class citizen status, declaring the United States a christian country speaks to the deep, deep, deep hatred conservatives have for the concept of America and the America Dream.  The GQP wishes to turn this land into a Reactionary Nightmare; a fundamentalist Slave state.

Don't expect the Corporate Media to save Us.  They proved in 2016 that Fascism is fine as long as their chateau briand and bank accounts stay fat.  Don't expect institutions or long-standing norms and rules to save Us.  Don't expect law enforcement or bureaucracy to save Us.  The Fascists of the early 20th century showed how to undermine those institutions, democracy, governments, and 18th century liberal ideology.

Attorney General Todd Rokita is on a mission to indict Dr. Caitlin Bernard for the unforgivable crime of being a woman, a physician, an unapologetic defender of women's health.  Rokita is engaging in an outrageous Abuse of Power and Authority which started with him outright lying about Doctor Bernard and presenting false testimony on Jesse Watters outrageous bigoted racist Faux TV show.

So because of this Abuser General Rokita will use the full might and resources of the State to destroy her.  He's begun an inquisition and he will not let truth or the the law get in the way of "gathering the evidence as we speak and we're going to fight this to the end."  Abuser General Rokita will not stop until he finds something to charge Doctor Bernard.

Rokita's actions are not accidental it's part of the Republican agenda of intimidation and abuse of authority they always engage in to make people acquiesce, give in, and obey preemptively.  Fascism often succeeds because regular people obey instead of standing up against them.

And now 26 members of the Indiana Senate have voted for a near total ban on abortions.  Get ready for border checkpoints to be erected on I-80 as you cross into Indiana.  Expect truck weigh stations to be transformed into mandatory vaginal inspection stations.  Fascism will come gradually and then all at once...

Over the July 4th weekend, before Trump loving Republican Bobby Crimo murdered people, stubby pustule Peter Breen was chortling through an interview on WBEZ weekend edition.

Breen, a former Illinois Republican state Representative, was asked about women crossing state boundaries to pursue needed medical care.  You see under the Privileges and Immunities clause of the Constitution and nearly 200 years of established precedence case law, the ability to travel between states can not be infringed.  

Breen laughed and said his organization, the Chicago-based Thomas More Dead Women Society was working on bringing up possible challenges to make it to the Sinister Six Injustices of the US Supremacist Court.  You see, Breen replied, it's all about how you frame the issue.  Simply declare that juveniles can not be brought across state lines for illegal purposes and et voila you can now restrict the freedom of movement for women through the power of government.  Imagine DUI checkpoints repurposed for pregnancy checks at state borders for all women in cars.  Or requiring recent negative blood tests before being able to book a plane ticket.  Crotch sniffing K-9 Officers trained to smell menstrual blood stationed by trains at Ogilvie and Union Station in Chicago.

One of the most glib, galling, and insulting techniques conservatives adopted was the appropriation fo the name of some historical figure whom as the avatar of their bigoted group.  The Susan B. Anthony rightwing anti-abortion group, for instance.  Thomas More has nothing to do with US Law and his stupid 16th century book Utopia would be a far more dour, drab, and dull communist Nation than ever created in world history.  But, dumb ass conservatives don't know anything about Thomas More other than the wretched 1968 film Man for All Seasons, so Breen and other Fundigelical wackos claim his historical gravitas for themselves. 

Republicans are going to use the full coercive force and punitive power of Government, at all levels, to control, punish and dominate women.  Conservatives hate women and will do everything in their power to reduce women to nothing but birthing slaves as they continue to lay the foundation for the Fascist Fundamentalist Racist Slave Nation.  The reality is given enough political power and ignoring all pushback, Rape-publicans will outlaw all Abortions in all Circumstances and if it kills a woman or a little girl then that's it.

In Ohio, House State Republicans passed a law HB 151, empowering conservatives to inspect the genitals of any little girl they deem fit to inspect.

In Idaho yesterday, Police interdicted and arrested 31 white power "Patriot Front" paramilitary terrorists who apparently planned to attack and beat people in a Pride Parade.

"It is clear to us, based on the gear the individuals had with them ... along with paperwork that we seized from them, that they came to riot downtown," Coeur d'Alene Police Chief Lee White said Saturday at a press conference.

Perhaps, they didn't coordinate in time with the Kootenai Sheriff Bob Norris to inform them of their intentions and didn't know that the Chief of Police is not under the County Sheriff system?

I am 100% certain that conservative rhetoric on-line is angry about Antifa or BLM and accuses the Couer d'Alene Police of ignoring leftist destruction of the Pacific Northwest.  I've heard from Officers I work with that Portland and Seattle where literally burned to the ground and the media ignored thousands of murders committed by Antifa.

Besides Every Accusation Is A Confession (EAIAC), the conservative hyper focus on "Grooming" and violence underscores the fact that Republicans by and large are either on board with using political violence to control the United States or willing to turn a blind eye to it.  And the grooming charge, is just covering for the Republican plan to empower themselves to detain any woman they wish and subject her to all sorts of gross violations.

Just as they've done before with fear of black people, fear of gay marriage, fear of Transpersons is the strategy Republicans have adopted to scare normies into backing the advance of Fascism.

Certainly everyone says this upcoming election is the most important in our lifetimes, this isn't actually true in 2022, as 2016 was the most important (as evidenced by the 3 Supreme Injustices appointed by Traitor Trump) and 2020 gave us a respite from the advance of Fascism but, what we're looking at in 2022 is the GOP laying the groundwork to steal the 2024 Presidential Election, the ensconcing of Anti-Trans Laws, the complete White-washing of US history,  a Federal Ban on Abortion, and the Supreme Six Injustices knocking down rights for Gay people, contraception, freedom of travel for women, while striking down of Griswold v. CT, Loving v. Virginia, and Lawrence v. Texas.

And the Supreme Six Injustices are also busy ensuring that Police Officers, in this case the scurrilous Border Patrol, be free to violate the 4th Amendment, free from criticism, and free to abuse because as the Couer d'Arlene Police show the Republicans know they need a Special Secret Police, a Trumpstazi or Trumpstapo as it were, to work with the Rightwing Paramilitary Terrorists and trample the American people.

Now, I hope everyone opposed to the Rightwing accelerating fascist agenda realizes snarky biting satire and witty quips directed at Conservatives have zero effect.  

Sure...  Laughing at Christian Givenchy Walker (the son of Herschel, the erstwhile replacement for Senator Warnock in Georgia) and his contrived antics may feel good and this gas pump one forced the H.Walker campaign to shush him for a few months, but understand Givenchy Walker feels no shame, literally laughed off being called a hypocrite, and had no trouble coming back after this with more inane disingenuous dramatic diatribes.  

But, instead of wryly chuckling, 'Welcome Comrade!' that the GOP wants to nationalize gas and oil companies and Ha ha ha ha ha that's communism!, understand that conservatives will say anything, contradict previously held statements and beliefs, and endorse anyone which gives them a "win" for the day.

Now, the gas prices are surging to unseen levels.  If you thought, Republicans wouldn't for a moment use this to Blame Biden, then you don't understand the GOP playbook; Take All Credit; Pass All Blame. Repeat.

Biden's "War on American Energy" is going to be the centerpiece of the Republican effort to steal the 2022 elections.  It even drew the spirochete afflicted mumblings dof brain added Donald John Traitor Trump.  It's

Sure, sure, Republicans are going to have to pay lip service to how they are *actually* protecting Women's Health by striking down Roe and by enforcing invasive uterus inspection laws whilst ignoring Gun Control.  And the GOP is going to have to keep their plans to eliminate Lawerence v. Texas and Loving v. Virginia and outlawing contraception under wraps until 2024.

But, understand the GOP no longer needs to offer up anything, they don't have to have policy proposals or concrete agenda items.  The Modern Republican Party doesn't have any plans and doesn't have anything to offer the American people except pain.  When asked earlier this year what Republicans stand for Mitch McConnell responded, "That is a very good question.  And I'll let you know when we take it back."

All that's needed is a promise of revenge. 

As to gas prices, the issue goes back 50 years;  American car makers did not learn anything from the 1973 OPEC Oil Crisis.  American cars have always been land yachts, rolling whales.  The quintessential question is, is this because of the American consumer tastes and preferences or because the American auto industry makes what it makes?

Contrary to popular belief, the large gas-guzzling monstrosities of the 1970's did not disappear they were just rebranded and rebadged as Sport Utility Vehicles and Trucks.  Fucking trucks.  And not just any truck but, progressively bigger and bigger and less efficient models dominated for the last 25 years.  The Ford Ranger from 1982 and the throwaway 1990's Nissan Frontier was the only small truck option readily available in America.  Every other option simply grew in dimensions until the mid-size Trucks of the 2000's were larger than full-sized of the past.

Finally... finally in the past few years smaller truck options became available highlighted by the return of the "Ute"; with the Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz.  And their sales are making Toyota consider a smaller truck than the bloated Tacoma.

Clearly, the desire for small, fuel efficient vehicles represents a large segment of the market.  The sales of Tesla, an inferior electric vehicle, show the market exists for non-gas hogs but, look how long it took for the Big Automakers to pivot to making any electric vehicles and flagships for Chevrolet and Ford are... trucks...

Sigh...  So, here we are again.  Instead of investing in electric and moving towards fuel-efficient cars Americans who bristled at the $4 - $5 gas prices in 2007-2008 simply returned to bloated SUVs and trucks for daily commuting in the 2010's and now do they blame themselves for their choices?  

No.  The post World War 2, American mindset has always been there's no reason to scrimp, there's no reason to delay any gratification, everything from steak to gas is cheap and plentiful.  

I'm not the first to recognize the disposable America but, what white America is primed for is a Fascist Strongman who promises to make America like it was again... Again... And that's precisely what the Republican Party is offering and proposing, Pure Fascism in America.

One of the greatest tricks the GQP pulled was to get the Corporate Media to accept their framing of issues.  Now, this is a little cooked because the current Media is set up to push the agenda of Billionaires and the Rich, just like the Republican Party but, it's also been a great method of letting Republicans claim that their words are the equivalent of actions.  Republicans claim to be pro-life, heavily invested in patriotism, and with an eye towards liberty.  They say these things but, they don't follow through with actions because they don't have to, the words like prayers are enough to satisfy their followers.

Those Empty Thoughts & Worthless Prayers are also the only thing Republicans have to offer to the families of victims of the latest school shootings.  Republicans offer these things up because it is literally the least they can do but, Republicans know the Corporate Media will treat Thoughts & Prayers as equivalent of action.

Meanwhile, the Republicans are simply running out the clock on the latest mass shooting, knowing their bigoted hardcore followers don't care and the rest of the American people are too distracted in dealing with all the problems Republicans created to address gun violence that hasn't yet affected them.

And the Republicans can count on-line vile lying Rightwingers to spread all sorts of lies and misinformation as Alex Jones and others did with We Have to Talk About Sandy Hook, the way Major Traitor Greene stalked Parkland survivor David Hogg in DC and others claimed he wasn't present.  Already Republicans and conservatives are flooding social media with claims the murderer was Transgender (the latest boogeyman the right is using to undermine and destroy the United States).

The Left (in general) failed to respond because since the 1960s the Left saw conservatives cloak themselves in Flag and God so they ceded these things to the Right because of how repugnant conservatives made the concepts of patriotism and religion.  What the Left did not Not understand, unlike the Unionists in the 1860s did, is the American Flag, patriotism, and religion are things you take back from the Fascists.

And make no mistake that's what the Modern Republican Party is; Fascist.  Deeply.  Thoroughly.  And with a keen eye towards inflicting pain and violence on their True Enemies, Democrats, Liberals, and Progressives.

Elected Republicans wake up in the mid-morning after their coke-fueled deviant orgies and contemplate how they can harm Americans and the Nation.  From the most Hate Filled Republican Senator to the most vile TV newsman, Republicans spend every second of every day making things materially and morally worse for Americans because the Conservative Agenda is to Destroy the United States and replace it with their Neo-Confederate Fundamentalist State.

I could fill this entire post with bizarre, violent, hateful, vile, disingenuous, frightening, menacing social media posts, statements, State Laws, radio broadcasts, and Supreme Court ruling which demonstrate how far Fascist the GOP has descended but, to what point?  The Corporate Media is tasked by their owners and operators with helping to advance the Rightwing Agenda and with making it palatable to the large swath of Americans who can't be bothered or are too frazzled and barely hanging on to vote and organize against the Republican Fascist Death Cult.

And that is what Republicans count on.  By consistently making things materially worse for Americans Republicans know they can then blame their recalcitrant undermining of the Nation on the Democratic Party and be assured the Corporate Media will gleefully adopt rightwing taking points.

Note, the Media freakout over the withdrawal from Afghanistan and the ease which Republicans are all allowed to vote against any Governmental effort to address the baby formula shortage while Republicans still get to claim the mantle of Pro-Life.

It's the same way Republicans get to aid the NRA in flooding the Nation with easily obtainable firearms, while undermining Law&Order but, get to be labeled the Pro-Police Party and defenders of children; the very same children Republicans helped murder in the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.  All while blaming the Democratic Party for the damage the Republicans have wrought, as Baby Killer Ted Cruz did in the immediate aftermath.

After the GOP takes control of the House and Senate and enough Governorships through their decades long and time-worn methods of voter discouragement and disenfranchisement; they will have the Governmental edge to outright steal the 2024 Presidential Election and then like all good Fascist Disctatorships will allow the Form to continue even though all elections will be no different than the Saddam Hussein lead Ba'ath Party "democratic" elections.

After the GOP Fascist takeover, the Corporate Media will dutifully carry out their role of hyping the latest Rightwing propaganda and pretending the State of the Nation is the same as it ever was...
