The Democratic Party in Illinois moves to protect Waterways & Wetlands

 Last year, the scummy SCOTUS ruled that the US Constitution and Clean Water Act aren't valid because the Supreme Six Injustices deem it to be so.

The fact the Clean Water Act was 50 years old or the that the first legal cases decided by the old SCOTUS dates back 200 years ago, or that the right of the Federal Government to regulate waterways is written into the very Constitution is irrelevant;   The Scummy Supreme Six Injustices are aligned with the rapacious Rich and those who despoil the Nation.

The Clean Water Act of 1972 survived decades of litigation from opponents seeking to limit the authority of federal agencies like the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to regulate the Waters of the United States, typically referred to as WOTUS. Before the wetlands decision, the Supreme Court upheld the definition of WOTUS to not only include navigable bodies of waters but also adjacent wetlands with meaningful hydrological connections. 

For over a decade, Michael and Chantell Sackett, an Idaho couple, challenged this definition before the Supreme Court twice. In 2004, they bought a lakeside property with the plans to build a home on the site. The couple began excavation without applying for the appropriate permitting to develop on top of a wetland and the EPA stopped the project. 

Last May, in a 5-4 ruling, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Sacketts.

You might have missed this ruling seeing as the Reactionary Court has been pushing through all manner of regressive bills designed to return the United States to its' Roots as a Slave Owning Kleptocracy built upon white supremacy and fundamentalist hyporcisy but, the Injustices financial backers and benefactors also have a eye on undermining any regulation which stymies their ability to despoil the land, strip it of it's natural beauty and reap the financial rewards.

All the meanwhile, leaving behind a shattered wasteland to be inherited by the meek.

Fortunately, here in Illinois we have a Democratic Legislature which will not simply turn the rivers, lakes, streams, and wetlands over to rapacious billionaires to do with as they wish.

In response to another unjust overreach by this Court, Illinois State Senator Laura Ellman introduced a New Act 30 ILCS 105/5.1015, the Wetlands and Small Streams Protection Act:

to restore protections for wetlands and small streams that were formerly protected from pollution and destruction by the Clean Water Act. Provides provisions concerning: exemptions; wetlands delineation, classification, notification, permits and veto; general permits; appeal of final decisions made by the Department of Natural Resources and judicial review; investigation and enforcement; and county authority. Creates the Wetlands and Small Streams Advisory Committee and establishes duties and rules for the Committee. Creates the Wetlands and Small Streams Protection Fund. Provides for permit review fees. Defines terms. Makes conforming changes in the State Finance Act and the Illinois Environmental Protection Act. Effective immediately.

Marshes, bogs, ponds, streams, and other waterways are not things to be drained, damned, or reclaimed but integral pieces of a functioning landscape, a refugee for wildlife, and repository of natural beauty.

But, the 1% won't be satisfied with the massive gains they've made over the rest of America; the Rich want it all, which is why they know if they put Trump back into power they'll be able to finally eliminate the Middle Class, end the American dream, and shackle the American people into perpetual wage slavery and bondage.

Republicans and their duped Conservative drones are pushing this Nation into a Land which resembles the Feudal Domains of Dark Ages Europe. 400 Americans own more wealth than the over 150,000,000 other Americans.

The Rich did not see the Progressive Victories of last 100 years as permanent and immutable. The Ultra-Reactionary Neo-Liberal Class Warfare the Rich have been waging upon Americans for the last 35 years has been incredibly successful. The 1% have returned America to levels of Income Inequality not seen since the Glided Age of Robber Barons and the Slave Plantations of The Founding Fathers.

A new Massive redistribution of wealth up to the Rentier Class began on November 1st, with the first of $50 Billion in cuts to Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP).

"It took us years to get here but we are here," House Agriculture Committee Chairman Republican Frank Lucas.

It did indeed. Republicans have been demonizing and ostracizing the Poor for decades. The Founding Fathers knew that a Nation built upon the disparity of wealth the Republican Party and the Pro-Business Democrats have created was untenable. James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, 4th President of the United States, warned future Americans about Class Warfare, 

"The most common and durable source of faction has been the various and unequal distribution of property..." And,

"We are free today substantially but the day will come when our Republic will be an impossibility. It will be impossibility because wealth will be concentrated in the hands of a few."

Now, Herman Cain succinctly declared the Republicans' simpler understanding of the economy,

"If you're poor... Blame yourself!" 

The cuts to SNAP aren't happening in a vacuum or as part of hypothetical economic model. They are being done while each and every Government program which aids the poor and working class is likewise under assault funded by a few hundred Americans and their Corporate Zombies. Meanwhile, 300 or so Republican apparatchiks have seized vital organs of Government and are using that power to overthrow the Democratic Republic.

And it's succeeding...

Daily, Americans are bombarded by the Right-Wing propaganda machine, AHIP saboteurs, and Republican plotters attempting to undermine the ACA (Obamacare) with their simplistic narrative, 'Obama lied!' so that they true goal of eliminating the Social Safety Net.

Unlike most, Coup attempts the Plutocracy already controls most of the Government, it's just every now and then, those dastardly poor and working class people don't readily vote themselves into Corporate Bondage and Wage Slavery. 

Thus, Obamacare has become the Hill on which the Plutocracy is willing to sacrifice their Republican attack dogs upon because the Rich absolutely loathe the idea of working class people having a bit of breathing room and not living in fear of being bankrupted by a health care crisis.

Faux News contributor, Dr. Marc Siegel said in an appearance on Sean Hannity’s show that “there is too much health insurance, it covers too much. Too many people have it."

And Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell complained the Poor people in Kentucky whom he's personally tried to keep down and indigent are getting the benefits of Obamacare, 

"Well, 85 percent of the people who've signed up in Kentucky have signed up for Medicaid. That's free health care. The rollout is quite mixed -- quite mixed -- and largely people signing up for Medicaid. Free health care."

Unlike, Senator McConnell, who "works hard" for his Government provided health care.

Like, the "Banana Republics" fostered by The United Fruit Company or the Anglo-Persian Oil (now known as BP) dealings in Persia, Corporate Monstrosities use money and influence to purchase a Government which conforms to the whims and desires of a small cadre of Wealthy Elites and enforce a Corporate Hegemony which oversees the ruthless implementation of Austerity politics; the raiding of municipal pensions, elimination of food programs for poor children, the destruction of health care for wounded veterans and the blatant theft of the last bits of wealth held by the elderly.

Fast & Furious Conservatives are trying to Break the Nation with Obama Fatigue Syndrome

The recent Contempt of Congress vote for Attorney General Eric Holder is just the beginning. Vicious right-wingers are going to cause the Nation so much stress and consternation to make Americans just throw up their hands and vote for Romney to end the constant right-wing screeching.

Darrell Issa's committee and the months long hearings on Fast & Furious fall under the auspices of 'Where there's smoke there's fire' in attempting to convince Americans that all the fake pout rages by conservatives and hours upon hours of hearings and Faux News coverage indicate some vast, far-reaching conspiracy.

Now, Fast & Furious, Operation: Wide Receiver, and Gunwalking Stings have always struck me as wrongheaded and foolish. I don't subscribe to giving weaponry to "bad guys" in attempt to catch them doing bad things.

But, those type of Operations were very vogue amongst the Bush White House and his Chief Torturers John Yoo and Alberto Gonzales.

Those Operations allowed the Terra-wrist Fightin' Cowboy Bush to amble his way into a press conference and announce he foiled 13 Terrorist Plots this month and 6 terrorist plots that month...

Republicans like Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma even took to the Senate Floor to praise George W(orst President Ever) Bush for keeping America safe, except for that whole 9/11 thingie...

Nowadays, things are different, chief amongst the differences is the anti-America, Kenyan, Marxist, secret muslim, "monkey president" occupying the White House. Thus, everything that came before can be ignored in the #1 Goal of Republicans and Conservatives everywhere making America fail in order to regain the levers of Control.

Now, good right-wing propaganda involves utter falsehoods and complete lies, but Great Right-Wing propaganda has a kernel of impropriety attached to it. Conservatives have already allowed themselves to be convinced this whole incident is far worse than Watergate. But, when President Obama invoked Executive Privilege, well, while most right-wingers were convinced President Obama should have been impeached the day he took office, this whole debacle is "proof" the Department of Justice, AG Eric Holder and by extension President Obama are involved in "impeachable" offenses.

This entire spectacle is nothing more than an attempt to so stress, confuse, infuriate, exasperate and torture the American people that they will willingly concede and accept the chains of Slavery, Mitt Romney and the Republican Party have guaranteed they will shackle upon 99% of the American people.

Why haven't the historically low tax rates not created millions of jobs?

Instead, the nation lost 53,000 jobs. In Bush's three years in office, 2.2 million jobs have disappeared.

It's been 10 years since taxes were slashed and the 'Job Creators' still aren't creating jobs. Why?

Because the reason Republicans cut taxes on the Wealthy was to crush the Middle Class and create the Neo-Feudalist State we are living in today. Income Inequality and the concentration of Wealth amongst the Richest 1% are at their worst levels in American History.

While, it's already been proven that Senator Mitch McConnell is a paid Guard Dog for the Plutocracy he apparently feels no compunction in showing he is so out-of-touch with what 99% of Americans are dealing with during this Republican Recession.

First Mitch expressed his anger at how the Poor have it so good and repeated the oft-quoted and refuted Republican lie about taxes, "Between 45 percent and 50 percent of Americans pay no income tax at all."

Then Mitch bowed to his Plutocratic Overlords and assured them what Republicans and President Mitt Romney will do is slash any Government program which aids the poor or Middle Class, "The issue of revenue, from our point of view, is tied to serious entitlement reform."

And President Mitt Romney has explicitly stated he will not only keep the current stratification going but will accelerate it. Mitt Romney's tax plan and the Paul Ryan Death to the Middle Class Budget are designed with the goal of making devastating cuts to Federal Programs designed to aid the poor and struggling Americans, while shifting those American Tax Dollars into the off-shore bank accounts of the Rich.

It's all out there to see, America. The Republican Party is telling you, now quite clearly, that they will cut your legs out from under you in service to the Rich.

And they know that if like colicky babies, they bitch, moan, pout and shout loud enough and long enough about President Obama enough Americans will give into their Temper Tantrum and allow themselves to give away their freedom for Corporate Bondage.

George W(orst President Ever) Bush kept us out of a Great Depression

in the same way he kept us safe during 9/11...

It's the first mention of Bush's name during the entire Republican Primary and Vulture Capitalist Mitt Romney made it,

"I keep hearing the president say he's responsible for keeping the country out of a Great Depression. No, no, no, that was President George W. Bush."

Now, I think I understand what Romney meant, but in order to understand Mitt you have to see the world through his gold-rimmed monocle. Because to Mitt and his Upper Echelon 1% brethren there hasn't been a Depression let alone a Recession. Romney and the Plutocratic Thieves made out extraordinarily well during Bush's Presidency. It's just that the 99% suffered under Bush and Cheney.

Under Bush and Cheney the top 0.1% got a tax cut of $520,000, 450 times what the middle income taxpayer received. The bottom 20% only got 1% of the tax cut. The tax cuts were sold as a way to bring in middle class jobs and rising middle class wages.

Koch Industries and the Exxon-Mobile funded Heritage Foundation rabidly cheered and promoted the Bush Tax Cuts. The Heritage Foundation's 2001 report proclaimed if the Bush tax cut legislation were to pass, it would:

1) Effectively pay off the federal debt;
2) Reduce the federal surplus by $1.4 trillion;
3) Substantially increase family income;
4) Save the entire Social Security surplus;
5) Increase personal savings;
6) Create more job opportunities.

Everyone of those claims was a deliberate lie to sell the tax cuts to the middle class as a job creator and deficit reducer. None of these claims occurred. But, what did occur was a massive transfer of wealth to the Ultra-Wealthy, which were the true goals of the Bush Tax Cuts and part of the Republican plan all along.

Steal Billions and funnel it to the 1%. George Bush and Dick Cheney ran the United States as if hundreds of millions of Americans didn't exist. Bush couldn't give a shit if your job got sent overseas or if an illegal immigrant got it as long as his 1% buddies got millions of stolen taxpayer dollars. Bush couldn't give a shit if thousands die in New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina. Bush couldn't give a shit is thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis die in his Bullshit War in Iraq, "Bring'em on!"

All Bush cared to do was to perpetuate and accelerate the massive redistribution of Wealth, begun by Reagan, upwards to the 1%, while grinding the working class and middle class into Wage Slavery and bondage under the tyrannical control of Plutocratic elites, or as Bush himself put it, "Some call you the Elites - I call you my base."

The Visions of Newtradamus and the Romneyan Brain-Washing Maneuver

In the Vision of Newtradamus and with the help of the Romneyan Brain-Washing Maneuver, some people are worth more than other people.

Newt Gingrich's tax plan is truly evil. It's even worse than what the Great Newtradamus originally proposed. Newtradamus declared a vision of prosperity came to him! All will profit if only we have No Capital Gains Taxes, a Corporate tax rate of 12.5%, and a 15% flat tax for everyone else!

Now, if you wish Newtradamus would allow you to keep the current tax structure, but I don't know if that means the average worker would still be able to claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or write off Mortgage interest. What the Great and Slimy Newt's plan does mean is the Super Wealthy who control and own the Republican Party would see their stolen loot skyrocket and Income Inequality would become irreversible.

Mr. Sheet Rock Layer who works 2500 hours (48 hours a week) and makes $50,000 would pay $7,500 in taxes if he took the flat 15% rate. But, the Thieves who call their Income deferred would really prosper. For instance, Willard Mitt's, The Romneyan, tax rate would plummet from his current 13.9% to 0.25% and he would pay a mere $56,000 in taxes on an Income of $21,600,000, a Quarter of One Percent.

It's a brilliant way of destroying the Social Safety Net and crippling the Government. It's not an accident. The goal of the Right-Wing has always been to shift the burden of the poor, injured, sick or downtrodden onto the hard-working middle class, while allowing the 1% to abscond with Trillions in tax dollars funneled to them via their Republicon Dogs.

Do you think Mr. 10 hour days is going to want any money going to the Moochers? Of course, not he's busting his ass! He's ruining his health, breaking his back and barely seeing his family. But, and this is the most important part of the Right-Wing Plan the Middle Class can never know who are the Real Moochers. The True Moochers and Welfare Recipients in this Nation are the Plutocrats of the 1%.

This is where the Romneyan Brain-Washing Maneuver comes into play.

Romney, like all the Vultures and Thieves with whom he congregates make No Contribution to Society. The Entire Financial Model of the 1% is, what they themselves call, Creative Destruction.

It's Creative all right, but it's not Creation, it's Destruction. Romney and his ilk make profits off of eliminating jobs, destroying American companies, polluting waterways destroying ecosystems and profiting off of the carnage they caused.

But, that's only the first part of the Romneyan Brain-Washing Maneuver. After destroying Americans lives, Mitt Romney moves hundreds of millions to off-shore accounts in Luxembourg or the Cayman Islands and then calls the rest of his earnings "Deferred Income" or "Capital Gains". Thus while making at least 400 times more than an average American, every year, Romney and the disgusting filth with whom he associates get to pay effective tax rates 1/2th or 1/3rd as much.

But, when this is pointed out, people get mad so the Romneyan Brain-Washing reaches it's conclusion, in which Willard Mitt and his fellow Thieves declare they actually pay 50% taxes. "All told it's really closer to 45% or 50%," Mitt Romney.

It's a lie of course, but Romney has supporters amongst the Actors over at Faux News who declare, "Who cares how much money he has???"

Everything the Plutocrats and their defenders tell you are lies. Corporations do not pay 35% taxes. Time and again it's shown Corporations don't pay anything in taxes

Seventy-eight of the 280 companies paid zero or less in federal income taxes in at least one year from 2008 to 2010. Thirty corporations paid less than nothing (Negative Tax Rates) in aggregate federal income taxes over the entire 2008-10 period.

Even more despicably these same Companies spent more on lobbyists and political donations,

Moreover, Public Campaign reports these companies spent about $476 million during the same period to lobby the U.S. Congress, as well as another $22 million on federal campaigns, while in some instances laying off employees and increasing executive compensation.

That is where Newtradamus and Romneyan prove most special. Regular Americans don't get fancy dinner dates and a $500,000 dollar line of credit from Tiffany's or a $25,000 dollar a month contract to "Not-Lobby" from Freddie Mac like Newtradamus.

We, the People don't have wealthy friends setting up an LLC or a PAC to funnel millions of dollars to our pockets as we've seen happen for both Newtradamus and The Romneyan. W Spann LLC, was formed in March 2011 by Cameron Casey a former comrade of Willard Mitt's at Bain Capital made a $1,000,000 dollar donation to Romney and dissolved in July 2011.

Sheldon Adelson, who literally makes his money off of gambling (remember no contribution to society) and his wife Dr. Miriam Adelson have each given a $5,000,000 million dollar donation to Newtradamus.

But, all of this can't distract the conservative rubes and dupes who slavishly slurp down all the filth the Republicans shovel to them during their nearly 20 debates. The right-wing dupes truly believe all they need to make millions of dollars like they're good friends Newtradamus and The Romneyan is lower taxes and getting those moochers off of Medicaid, foodstamps and welfare.

Meanwhile, the Vultures smile and Trillions flow to them.

Consumer Spending < The Plutonomy

CBS Evening News had a story on the continued decline in consumer spending, in which, Scott Pelley said something shocking! That because of the lower consumer spending the economy is not turning around and we face another recession. Now how can this be? Everyone knows that Tax Cuts for The ***Job*** ***Creators*** and a strict Austerity Deficit Reduction stimulate the economy!

Here's the biggest economic disconnect facing Teabaggers and conservatives; If Job Creators and Tax Cuts are really the driving engine of the economy why has the last ten years been such a miserable downward spiral?

Why does the decrease in consumer spending worry Wal-Mart's CEO Mike Duke?

"Purchases are really dropping off by the end of the month even more than last year," Duke said. "This end-of-month [purchases] cycle is growing to be a concern."

But, he's a Job Creator! Tax Cuts for Wal-Mart's founding family him grow the economy!

Remember We were assured that just another round of the Bush/Obama Tax Cuts for the Wealthy, just another round of reduced benefits, just another round of cuts to Medicaid, just another round of bailouts to Wall Street and viola We would have prosperity.

Well, it didn't happen, prosperity did not trickle down to us. But, what did happen was Hedge Fund Managers made Billions and Wall Street paid out millions of Tax Payer dollars to gamblers. According to the Federal Reserve, the top 1% now owns more than half the nation's stocks and controls more than $16 trillion in wealth — more than the bottom 90%.

How can this be? The consumption of goods and services by Middle and Working class America is what drives the economy. Transferring wealth to The Rich, The Plutocrats, The Moneyed Masters does not.

Well, the goal has never been to have a prosperous America with a thriving middle class, or a healthy working class inculcating their children with the American ideal of a meritocracy based on talent, education and hard work but to create the Plutonomy.

What has been placed in motion is a plan to concentrate wealth and power amongst the Richest and they have already won. Back in 2006 Too-Big-Too-Fail Citigroup crafted internal documents detailing that The United States (along with Canada, the UK and Australia) had become Plutonomies, with income disparity and wealth concentration worse than at anytime in US history. And they don't care. Because being too big too fail means they have a built in trump card They get to Socialize their Losses and Privatize their Profits.

And afterwards they can go back to their Political Hitmen and instruct them to remove every other minor obstacle; to destroy Unions, eliminate the EPA and OSHA, strike from law environmental regulations, slash meager benefits for the poor and swipe the Social Security fund for their use, anything which stands in the way of their total control.
