Why does god speak in earthquakes and hurricanes?

Weather activity and plate tectonics are still ascribed to god. 7,000 years ago this was a good scientific hypothesis, but today it is either espoused by the horribly ignorant or unscrupulous charlatans. Fortunately for the Republican Party these two demographics, along with chicken hawk cowards, punk ass bitches and bigots, comprise their voting base.

But, let's treat this as a hypothesis! Is it possible that god has sent the earthquake and hurricane towards the east coast over the past month?

So, the first question is answered. The cause is god. No what caused 'yahweh' to send these events? Gay Marriage was approved in New York on July 24th, Hurricane Irene didn't hit until August 28th. Bachmann cited that the "[G]overnment is on a morbid obesity diet". But, spending has been high since World War 2.

So what's the delay? Why doesn't god act right away? And why does god choose in the 21st century to communicate in phenomenon which can be misinterpreted? He didn't have a problem of sending more explicit messages in the past. He used to appear as giant swirling towers of flame or turn rivers to blood and even sent his own son/self to deliver messages in person!

Now, I could mention the post hoc ergo propter hoc (after this therefore because of this) fallacy or I could point out other weather phenomenon which have been explained without relying on the 'god did it' claim terrible heat wave and drought which gripped the god belt of America all summer of 2011. Or point out the earthquakes and tsunamis which afflicted Bam, Iran in 2003, Indonesia in 2004, Haiti in 2006 and Japan in 2011 but these incidents serve the Dominionist community by proving god is christ since each event killed thousands of non-believers.

Such discussion would require the faithful drop their ignorance and that is not going to happen. Instead the likes of Bachmann respond with "“Of course I was being humorous when I said that!"

But, sadly we all know that is a flimsy cover for her true beliefs shared by thousands of religious wackoos and Bachmann knows Jesus is Watching You and she (or Rick Perry) is the chosen one sent to speak for the god who is mad because of Pell Grants, the EPA and that poor Americans have refrigerators.

We should all remember the American Workers who have been murdered in the past by Plutocratic businessmen. This year has been especially horrid for workers in historically dangerous fields because Republicans worked diligently to undercut safety regulations and obstruct violation enforcement which would hamper business.

Yet, despite blatant and brazen theft and murder by The Free Market, Republicans and Conservatives continue to claim Corporations have your best interest at heart. They do not. Any single American worker or consumer has always been nothing more than an actuarial inconvenience to business designs. Temporary ephemeral fleeting nuisances to be robbed, injured or killed by their unsafe products, working conditions or complicated Wall Street financial scams but, nonetheless just one person and therefore nearly powerless. Americans learned this after the Civil War and organized into Unions to battle this power and money which viewed people as cogs in the machines of Industry and War.

But, no victories are ever permanent. Corporate Power responded by crafting the Republican Party, a soulless undying monster to wrest control of government and work to provide legal cover for Corporate Theft and Murder.

What we've learned over and over is that Businesses can not be counted on to work safely or responsibly and when Republicans are in office those businesses will further undercut safety and create more and more elaborate theft schemes because they know Republicans won't prosecute them even when "Free Markets" collapse, Americans die and Ecology's are devastated.

But, the most terrible and pitiable thing is the Republicans know that even with the power they wield for Death and Destruction they would be unable to further the schemes of their Socialist Kleptocratic Overlords without an enforcement arm.

Historically, this has been accomplished through the use of Police, the creation of a middle management class and racism. By creating a class of gatekeepers and watchdogs, slightly elevated above the majority of workers, Republicans know this group of guards will work to keep the systems of control in place and ensure the Plutocratic Rulers of America expand their vast stores of wealth they have accumulated through wage slavery and murder.

But, even this system has flaws and the Gatekeepers become disillusioned by the rampant corruption of the Conservative Elites and the anti-human arrogance and rancid milk of Republican kindness which would let the poor starve because to Republicans "the poor are like stray animals".

But, when Americans revolt against Republican evil, the Right responds with Terrorism, Bigotry and War to keep the people divided and powerless.

Republicans are the Overseers of the American Gulag, but unlike their brothers the Soviet Commissars, Republicans cloak their Evil in a patina of Righteousness. The Right knows villains who twirl their moustaches are easy to identify and seek to cover their abject evil behind god, guns and the flag.

But, the saddest part is to see those abused and brainwashed Americans who have partaken and been consumed by the bitter brew of Republican Deception seek to abuse and enslave their fellow Americans.

Is Using A Minotaur To Gore Detainees A Form Of Torture?

Torture's back in the news because Dick the Pimp and Liz the Prostitute are out pumping the media and angrily defending war crimes on TV again.

The Republican Ticking Time-Bomb Scenario is easily countered. Any terrorist actually tortured, in the scenario, need only steel themselves for a short time and then provide false information.

For example, let us say you have knowledge a bomb is set to go off in 1 hour in LA or NY, if the bomb planting terrorist can hold out for 30 to 45 minutes and then pretend to succumb and provide you with the location of the bomb, the group will go off running 24 style to the wrong location as the bomb explodes in the other location.

To back my argument in the Mel Gibson MOVIE Payback. The crucial torture scene (in the Gibson cut of the film) has Gibson's character "Porter" undergoing a ball-peen hammer to the toes pretending to break and giving false information (in a sincere way) in order to send the torturers to a wrong location.

The Republican Pro Human Pain and Suffering Right Wing Extremists seem to think the prospect of wanting the torture to end is what is motivating the terrorist and don't seem to understand a committed terrorist has no expectation of survival. But, the major mass casualty attacks used by Dick the Pimp to justify his war crimes have usually ended with all the terrorists dead because they knew going in it would be a suicide mission. (See as examples the Moscow Nord-Ost Siege, the Beslan School Hostage Crisis, Mumbai Terror Assault and Dick Cheney's massive failure 9/11) Torture designed to inflict pain is used because the Torturer thinks the Tortured is worried about ending the torture with the mindset of living to see the future.

And then there is John McCain. Senator McCain proves some people are strong and crafty enough to give a false confession using information which the torturer thinks may be true. Although, I could be wrong about false confessions and all those people tortured by the Inquisition actually were Witches, flew around on brooms and were in League with Lucifer.

Of course, some sadistic fucks torture for the sheer pleasure of inflicting pain and tormenting the infidel and enemy. This describes most of the Right Wing FreeRepublic Extremists who are pro-torture.

There have been three highly covered and intensely partisan terrorist attacks in America in the last two weeks; The murder of a Doctor, an American Soldier and now a Security Guard. Lost in the major network coverage has been the spike in violence and murder all across the nation, especially in my neighborhood Chicago land area.

What has not been lost is the Republican Toxic Defenders immediate propaganda response to shift the blame away from themselves and their American terrorist fomenting rhetoric and minimize the DHS Right-Wing Extremist report, which rightly warned and predicted of the Right's Terror Campaign.

The Right's rhetoric theses days is akin to the trainers of suicide bombers. Their demagogues spew forth a constant stream of hate-filled vitriol designed to set up a cascade of mental dominoes in their ignorant and brain washed followers. Who then respond with acts of violence after which the toxic commentators rush to bellow about their innocence and non-culpability as the deadly fields of violence they have sown are reaped by the terrorists they train...

Usually those in power have no qualms about setting the lesser classes of Americans against one another. But, it so happens with the Toxic Republican Pro Human Pain and Suffering Party of Deferments collapsing as a viable political entity they are more than willing to ratchet up the violent inciting speech. This is always done with the sheen of plausible deniability hanging about so when someone does follow through Hannity, Glenn Beck, Jonah Goldberg, She Who Shall Not Be Named 2 and the rest can affect their wide-eyed stance of, well of course i didn't mean for my mouth breathing followers to actually murder those troop hating, American destroying, socialist liberals who deserve to be dealt with someway (wink wink)...

However, these extraordinary acts of Republican motivated political violence and bloodshed still do not worry me as much as the ordinary murder and bloodshed being visited upon normal decent everyday Americans, until now that the Toxic Republican Pro Human Pain and Suffering Party of Deferments continued Call for Jihad is turning the extraordinary right wing political terror campaign into ordinary everyday occurrences.

So the Toxic Right will continue their plan to Blame Barack for absolutely everything continue to push the go out and get a gun the liberals are destroying America bombast and hope and pray for another foreign terrorist attack on America.

2 Time Iraqi War Veteran Chuck Norris has announced thousands of cell groups will be united around the country in solidarity over the concerns for our nation. But Norris, Tea-bagging protesters and a youtube video by a "Marine" do not make a strong or popular movement. But even though I hope these are just the fringe elements, Frank Schaeffer highlights the comments by Norris may not just be some weird aberrations.

Norris is a champion Car-ate expert, but he and others are given a platform by those who would disavow any call to arms out one side of their mouth while engaging in the most vile and inflammatory rhetoric which hopes to bring about a visceral reaction amongst those whom they hate, control and abuse (the poor) but wish to use in order to keep the other half of the poor in check and divided.

Republicans are working for failure. Obama must fail so they may rule. Of course, the counter by the group has been Well you Democrats wanted Bush to fail, too! Nee Ner Nee Ner Nee Ner! As Dave Neiwert notes about Failure:

It would be one thing if Republicans were simply warning that Obama's stimulus plans were doomed to failure. We'd understand that. From 09/12/2001 to 01/19/2009 disagreeing with the President was wrong-headed at best and at worst emboldened our enemies. However, dissent and the threat of civil war are now the highest form of patriotism. Before we had the simple conjectures to browbeat those who were against the destructive policies of Tipsy Canoe;

Supporting the Troops = Supporting the Mission = Supporting the President,
Not Supporting the President = Not Supporting the Troops + Treason.

Now supporting Obama is aiding the descent of America into a Islamo-Marxist Communist Dictatorship. And all sorts of things become acceptable to defeat that threat, especially when Republican Senator David Vitter calls the Obama government a "Dictaorship".

And so the election of Obama has given new vigor to an old enemy. The False Patriots standing up to denounce the excesses of the government. These men came to the forefront during the Clinton presidency and decryed all things government especially the Executive Branch. To them the government was coming for you and the revolution was at hand.

But, when a Republican "won", by a 5-4 vote, the White House, the rhetoric slowed, the furor subsided, the anger abated. The Southern Poverty Law Center noted by the Summer of 2001 there were 194 anti government Patriot groups a drop from the high of 858 in 1996. Why? Why did freedom lovers sit back when Tipsy Canoe and his Aides were crafting powers to curb laws, supressing the consitution, using the government to bilk Trillions, starting wars and keeping US safe, except for the whole 9/11 thing...

Well, the anger is back. Anger which began prior to Obama even taking office and which bubbled over by the Toxic Commentators declaring Obama equals the End of America. Recall how this was exacerbated when Republican VP candidate Sarah Hot and Palin and McCain spokeswoman Nancy Pfoentauer declared some parts of America are Real and "Pro"-America. The "Pro"-tectors of Eric Rudolph, who blew up women and abortion clinics, and found refugee amongst the Patriots in the Appalachians.

And now the Revolution is once again nigh.

But, the history of the English Occupation of Ireland and The Troubles is an apt comparison and should provide a blueprint for Norris, The Birthers and all the False Patriots of the consequences of their toxic rhetoric. Do they really want the bitter fruits which shall arise from planting the seeds of revolution? A militarized police force, captured persons being allowed to starve to death in prison, occupation by the military, outright street warfare, car bombs, indiscriminate shootings, a Kent State or a Waco or an Oklahoma City Bombing every month or worse in American cities?

But, the most terrible and most poisonous result coming from a call for armed resistance and open fighting would be the destruction of the Ideal The Founding Fathers crafted, a peaceful transition of power. Which once lost might never be found again.

The Two Truths Theory

The Enemies of Reason have a certain blind look. ~The Duelists (1977) directed by Ridley Scott adapted from the short story by Joseph Conrad.

The 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin approaches and those who seek to roll back knowledge to the Dark Ages are busily at work trying to litigate mythology into the teaching of Biology, Geology, Anthropology, Paleontology, Astronomy, Medicine and Education. Namely, science is false because it disagrees with holy revelation.

But, I do have a memo from the 12th century to the Creationists out there: Science and Religion are not incompatible.

At least so say the Medieval Scholastics. Those men when faced with reality and the newly rediscovered works of the Ancient Greeks understood revelation could not account for the observable world and, in order to reconcile their myths with reality, crafted several philosophical edifices to buttress their beliefs.

The most famous was the attempt by Thomas Aquinas to reconcile the "truth" of revelation with empirical observable fact by using reason to prove the existence of god. However, Aquinas is disingenuous because what he was attempting to do was shoe horn Aristotle and evidence from the real world into the corset of Catholicism. He already knows the "truth". His appeals to reason are to reach an already revealed conclusion.

More impressive than Aquinas were the Averroists, after the muslim Ibn Rushd, who created the the Dual Truth Theory of Reason and revelation. There is one truth shown by the observable world and another through holy revelation and the human mind is not capable of merging the two, due to it's inherent limitations. Of course, the muslin fanatics had him condemned for placing reason on par with faith and as a result the engine of scientific advancement passed from islam unto the West.

And there in lies the interesting parallel. For the modern creationists are attempting to accomplish the same work the Berbers of the 13th century. Destroy the upstart philosophers and return the holy word to prominence.

If, Darwin, Wallace and those who've built modern science upon their theories, disagree with the bible? Then, the theories are incorrect and need be burned.

Eviloution is a Communist Plot

It is a plot to Destroy Americans' belief in God. And when you follow down the slope (which may or may not be slippery) to Destroy America.

A clear piece of evidence emerged when The Chinese Communists concocted this latest piece of eviloution propaganda:

However, the commies were quite, quite sloppy and some tidbits, which reveal this to be a fraud, can be found in the Commie's lackey media outlet the BBC:

The researchers, from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, say they have unearthed 7600 dinosaur bones since March in Shandong province. Hmmm, since March you say? Obviously the Commies have been making fake bones, sticking them in the ground and uncovering them after aging them.

Detailed information on the fossil find is not expected to be published in scientific journals until later in 2009. And why? Because the clear falsity of the dinosaur plaster molds would be uncovered by William Demski or Denise O'Leary.

The scientists hope the find will help to explain why the creatures died out. Well, that can be explained very easily. World Wide Flood killed all the Behemoth(s) of the bible.

I can only hope as we delve into the Year of the Darwin (sounds strangely like the way the Chinese Communists use their calendar the year of this or that...) that Eviloution will be destroyed and children in all levels of schooling in America will be able to respond to every question with the ontological answer: God did It.
