Tell that to the Marines

Contracts now seen as being rewritable...

Contracts are only honored during good times, put a little strain on the economy and the paper you have is only good enough for kindling...

Update 04/10:
As is my nature and due to my 36 mile sojourn on The AT I never got around to finishing my thoughts on this one.

However, just remember you are an individual and when it comes to agreements the old canard of getting it in writing probably won't mean squat with the unprecedented theft the Plutocracy is engaging in, in collusion with their paper shufflers in banking and government. They will make whatever laws are expedient to aid them in retaining control over you.

Bachmann crosses the Rubicon

You talk, talk, you talk to me
Your eyes touch me physically
Shootin' at the walls of heartache, Bang, bang,
I am the warrior ~ The Warrior, Patty Smyth

While "On Enemy Lines" Michele Dump Bachmann declared, "I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us ‘having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,’ and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country."

As I predicted the Toxic Talkers have attacked Obama from Day 1 with Day after Day after Day of comments designed to create an atmosphere of populist outrage. But to what purpose? A coup d'état? It can't be. I assume it's just to make everyone angry and position themselves to win the elections in 2010 and then challenge Obama with Reagan2 or W2.

But were the 2008 American elections (in which the Republicans lost much federal power) the cause of the rhetoric of Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina who said at CPAC conservatives might have to “take to the streets to stop America’s slide into socialism" and Paul Broun of Georgia who warned Obama's actions are "exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it’s exactly what the Soviet Union did,” and the constant references to Revolution?

Led by the Toxic Mouths, Ari Fleschier, Glenn Reynolds, Mark Steyn, She Who Will Not Be Named 2, Not Joe the Not Plumber, and others and given voice by Bachmann, Paul Broun, David Vitter and DeMint it appears the stage is set.

And what happens when it explodes? I'm sure the groundwork laid about ACORN could be used to show Obama was not fairly elected and justify the Coup...

And, April 11th is fast approaching...

Update:
Michele 'Nathan Hale' Bachmann continues to bandy about the Call for Revolution. Telling Sean Hannity "we are at the point, Sean, of Revolution". Maybe she can ask Bill Ayers for assistance in organizing.

2012

I'm waiting until the Autumn of 2012, to purchase my next vehicle. It's going to be a nice light truck, preferably from GM or Ford. I'm giving them 2 years to produce a 20+mph city vehicle with a decent V6. If the Ford Ranger replacement, the F-100, isn't ready or isn't made for US and Chevrolet is gone or still producing the woeful Colorado I'll go with the Toyota Tacoma Access Cab PreRunner or a Nissan Frontier.

On the Plus side if the 12/21/12, Long Mayan Calendar or the Nostradamus predictions are correct I'll only have a few months of car payments to make. And a tough little truck to carry me to higher ground from where I can proclaim Sic Transit Gloria Mundi... While Videotape plays...

Of course, I don't believe in the 2012 Doomsday malarkey, so I'd better ensure I get Zero Percent financing...

Barackman Hussein Obamadrive

How trusty is this world
~ Strange and ironic, Voivod

The damned Socialist President is at it again. To wit: "The government should create, issue and circulate all the currency and credit needed to satisfy the spending power of government and the buying power of consumers. The privilege of creating and issuing of money is not only the supreme prerogative of government, but it is the government's greatest creative opportunity. Government, possessing the power to create and issue currency and credit as money and enjoying the right to withdraw both currency and credit from circulation by taxation and otherwise, need not and should not borrow capital at interest [from the private banking system or their affiliates] as a means of financing government work and public enterprise.*"

The government should create all the currency and credit! Duh! Duh! Duh! Government doesn't create! Government doesn't create jobs! Government funding never works! And that's why Bankers hate Obama! He doesn't realize that Capital by axiom belongs to the Capitalists! C=C!

This is why Bankers predicted Doom unless Bush's regime pushed through the TARP, a Bankers dream, wherein another Trillion in American taxpayer debt was grotesquely funneled directly to aid the Rich as a last Bushian Fuck You to the people.

But Obama's the President now and The Hyper Toxic Talkers would have you believe the entire mess the country is in, stems from electing Obama and his two months in office.

Yeah, right.

The last 8 criminal years of Bush never occurred, Phil Graham never worked on deregulation, Reagan's Piss Down Your Back Economics didn't create a national deficit.

As late as 2006, the Republican attack machine was blaming Clinton for 9/11 (recall the "Fictionalized History" of The Path to 9/11) an event which occurred 8 months after Clinton was out of power. Of course, using that reasoning Obama has a free pass for at least another 6 months. And every single scandal plaguing Washington today is the fault of George W. Bush.

Except now the Screw Americans First-ers (Republicans) are out of Power and so the rules change. Everything is the fault of Obama! It's brilliant. The goal of course, is to blame a Democrat for the obscene destruction of the futures of Americans by Republicans, who ruin the economy and leave the cleanup to the Democrats. Then an empty-headed Republican can step in and ensure the poor and middle class are further indentured to the Plutocratic Class. This worked for them with the Mythical Reagan. And right now the Republicans grooming Reagan 2 (Mitt Romney) and/or W2 (Sarah Hot and Palin) to challenge in 2012.

Guns Amok

Run Amok - 'a murderous frenzy or rage'

Three more murderous rampages recently occurred in March in which firearms were used, one in Alabama, another in Germany and the killing of a pastor during a religious sermon in Illinois.

Yet there can be no debate on the gun issue as the common man is brow beaten into submission by slogans, "Guns don't kill people, people do!", "If owning a gun is made a crime, Only Criminals will have Guns!"

When someone in Java or Malaysia went Amuco centuries past, there was only so much murder they could accomplish with a war club and keris before being overpowered.

Is the threat of death by Amuco just another weight, another burden we must accept? The Dread of Damocles, of being gunned down, whether it be at a High School, a University, a Metal Concert, Church services, out shopping or while merely sitting on our front porch?

This past year Chicago experienced a sad spike in murders due to gun violence. The University of Chicago produced a study Gun Violence among School-Age youth in Chicago:
A total of 510 people were murdered in chicago during 2008. eighty percent of these victims were killed by gunfire. nearly half were between the ages of 10 and 25, and the vast majority were male. The dramatic overrepresentation of both young males and firearms in homicide is not unique to chicago, nor are these patterns new. Yet over the past 50 years, our society has made far less progress in understanding how to protect our citizens from gun violence (and violence more broadly) than we have learned about how to protect citizens from other serious threats to life and health.

I could list dates and numbers of persons killed in the recent murderous shootings rampages but I'm not going to use the sorrows of others to ply my argument. I don't have the answer. I don't know the magic fix to this problem. But, isn't it worth discussing? Isn't it worth attempting to disrupt the cycle? Couldn't the Laissez-faire market take a break from giving billions for Banker Bonuses and Bailouts and the never ending Black Hole of the Military Industrial Complex? Or is that just more government socialism?

Times of Troubles

"Crime is crime is crime. It is not political." ~ Margaret Thatcher.

I highlight the above quote, not because I agree with the Thatcher, but because she was a stalwart friend and stood shoulder to shoulder with Saint Ronnie. Ronnie was the champion of the plutocrats and laid the rock solid foundation of the Economic Collapse of Tipsy Canoe with his Piss Down Your Back Voodoo Economics and is the reference for all Republicans today.

Thatcher's comments were made so the British government could allow Irish Resisters to starve to death in prison. Prisoners who were captured during The Troubles, a period of open warfare in Ireland.

2 Time Iraqi War Veteran Chuck Norris has announced thousands of cell groups will be united around the country in solidarity over the concerns for our nation. But Norris, Tea-bagging protesters and a youtube video by a "Marine" do not make a strong or popular movement. But even though I hope these are just the fringe elements, Frank Schaeffer highlights the comments by Norris may not just be some weird aberrations.

Norris is a champion Car-ate expert, but he and others are given a platform by those who would disavow any call to arms out one side of their mouth while engaging in the most vile and inflammatory rhetoric which hopes to bring about a visceral reaction amongst those whom they hate, control and abuse (the poor) but wish to use in order to keep the other half of the poor in check and divided.

Republicans are working for failure. Obama must fail so they may rule. Of course, the counter by the group has been Well you Democrats wanted Bush to fail, too! Nee Ner Nee Ner Nee Ner! As Dave Neiwert notes about Failure:
It would be one thing if Republicans were simply warning that Obama's stimulus plans were doomed to failure. We'd understand that. It certainly would mirror how we felt about the Iraq war: we believed it was a doomed enterprise that would not only cost far more in human lives than anything that might possibly be gained from it, but would actually worsen the conditions for terrorism it purportedly meant to combat. We recognized that Bush's rosy scenarios might come to pass, but we doubted it deeply -- and said so, and rightly.
And as Mahablog notes in When Failure is an Option: The Right "do not... see a difference between expressing the opinion that X is a bad idea and wanting X to fail."

From 09/12/2001 to 01/19/2009 disagreeing with the President was wrong-headed at best and at worst emboldened our enemies. However, dissent and the threat of civil war are now the highest form of patriotism. Before we had the simple conjectures to browbeat those who were against the destructive policies of Tipsy Canoe;

Supporting the Troops = Supporting the Mission = Supporting the President,
Not Supporting the President = Not Supporting the Troops + Treason.

Now supporting Obama is aiding the descent of America into a Islamo-Marxist Communist Dictatorship. And all sorts of things become acceptable to defeat that threat, especially when Republican Senator David Vitter calls the Obama government a "Dictaorship".

And so the election of Obama has given new vigor to an old enemy. The False Patriots standing up to denounce the excesses of the government. These men came to the forefront during the Clinton presidency and decryed all things government especially the Executive Branch. To them the government was coming for you and the revolution was at hand.

But, when a Republican "won", by a 5-4 vote, the White House, the rhetoric slowed, the furor subsided, the anger abated. The Southern Poverty Law Center noted by the Summer of 2001 there were 194 anti government Patriot groups a drop from the high of 858 in 1996. Why? Why did freedom lovers sit back when Tipsy Canoe and his Aides were crafting powers to curb laws, supressing the consitution, using the government to bilk Trillions, starting wars and keeping US safe, except for the whole 9/11 thing...

Well, the anger is back. Anger which began prior to Obama even taking office and which bubbled over by the Toxic Commentators declaring Obama equals the End of America. Recall how this was exacerbated when Republican VP candidate Sarah Hot and Palin and McCain spokeswoman Nancy Pfoentauer declared some parts of America are Real and "Pro"-America. The "Pro"-tectors of Eric Rudolph, who blew up women and abortion clinics, and found refugee amongst the Patriots in the Appalachians.

And now the Revolution is once again nigh.

But, the history of the English Occupation of Ireland and The Troubles is an apt comparison and should provide a blueprint for Norris, The Birthers and all the False Patriots of the consequences of their toxic rhetoric. Do they really want the bitter fruits which shall arise from planting the seeds of revolution? A militarized police force, captured persons being allowed to starve to death in prison, occupation by the military, outright street warfare, car bombs, indiscriminate shootings, a Kent State or a Waco or an Oklahoma City Bombing every month or worse in American cities?

But, the most terrible and most poisonous result coming from a call for armed resistance and open fighting would be the destruction of the Ideal The Founding Fathers crafted, a peaceful transition of power. Which once lost might never be found again.

Gonna Go Galt

"It seems to me that one of the predictors of a happy versus an unhappy outcome, has to do with the role of the elite or the decision makers or the politicians, or the rich people within the society. If the society is structured so that the decision makers themselves suffer from the consequences of their decisions, then they are motivated to make decisions that are good for the whole of society. If the decision makers can make decisions that insulate themselves from the rest of society then they are likely to make decisions that are bad for the rest of society." - Jared Diamond, Interview with PBS 02/12/2009.

All the people talking about "Going Galt" do just that they talk, pout and throw tantrums but they never, ever leave. So, ruck up and leave already. Go... Go... Go... However, remember to bring some long underwear when you make your "Capitalist" Wunderland in the Colorado Rockies, because none of you has the comic book abilities of a John Galt.

None of those threatening to leave are the mythical supermen producers of Atlas Shrugged they are the parasites. The bankers, the high priced lawyers, the lobbyists, the brokers, the bureacrats, the Jim Cramer short-selling paper shufflers, who demanded deregulation in order to bilk trillions out of the US and then when everything crumbled wanted a bailout.

And society won't miss your sorry ass. The niches you currently exploit will quickly, readily and easily be exploited by someone else.

Of course the parasitic plutocrats never leave because it's a hollow threat, a childish temper tantrum in order to get more billions from the government. So go on and hold your breath until you get your way because we all know you wouldn't last a month away from civilization.

College Republicans and Chickenhawk Warmongers prove Evolution

Cowards (e.g. College Republicans) who champion war without any intention of risking their own flabby asses are proof of evolution.

It's an extremely successful strategy, in which their genes convince them to start or support a fight and then they allow other men to go off and do the fighting. That way the Cowards, a.k.a. College Republicans increase their chances at copulation from none to slim.

So, I'm not going to be too mad at the College Republicans because they can't help that they're cowards, it's their nature.

However, I recommend you read Army of Dude. He is doing a much better job of eloquently expressing and highlighting the unfair burden shouldered by those who have been repeatedly activated whilst Cowardly War Proponents (College Republicans) skulk around twittering.

Rush' s Triumph*

The world is full of compromise, and infinite red tape
But the music's got the magic, it's your one chance for escape ~ Magic Power, Triumph

I loved the Rush song Magic Power for years. It doesn't get much airplay anymore in the post-grunge, indie rock dominated music scene even on Chicago-land Classic Rock Stations like The Drive.

I figured the song came from the late 70's since musically it shared much in common with the Boston, Kansas and (as my friend Ran pointed out Styx) sound of that era. But, oddly, when I remembered to look for them at a Sam Goody's or Tower Records I could never find it on any Rush "albums".

Enter the Age of Information Access. I looked them up on iTunes and discovered these hard to find Rush songs were written by some band called Triumph. Triumph? Who the hell are those guys? Reading the biography it turns out my confusion was caused by the fact Triumph emerged as a power trio from Canada the same as Rush and possessed a similar sound. Triumph are responsible for a few great songs (Fight the Good Fight and Lay it on the Line) I recall from the early 80's. And ta boot Triumph became recent additions to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Yeah, iTunes! Yeah Triumph!

*- I bet you thought this was a post about the Distended Flabby Sack of Crap, but I'm banning myself from writing about that thrice divorced, drug addicted, sex tourist who mocks and insults the disabled ever again. For that you must go to the Huffington Post or Media Matters R. Limbaugh Page. Nor shall Rush be besmirched by having their name confused with the bloated R. Limbaugh.

From whence comes this Economic Meltdown?

While the Work You to Death Republican Party would have you believe your financial problems are like natural disasters* and come about due to Freedom they stem directly from the Republican policies. Namely ensuring they use the power of the federal government to transfer billions, well Trillions nowadays, into their hands. While simultaneously convincing people it's the evil Democrats who are to blame.

Ron Paul places the blame directly where it belongs the wars to aid Islamic Extremists. As Paul states, we "killed a million Iraqis and pleased Bin Laden" and ruined our economy, to the point where an avowed Islamo-Marxist terrorist supporting Nigerian citizen was elected President.

It was interesting to observe the reaction to Paul placing the blame for conservative failure on Warmonging, the CPAC attendees were unsure of whether to applaud or not since the entire Bush platform has been Give War a Chance. The roots of the economic collapse are to be found directly, where the money goes, and the Trillions appropriated by the Bush regime for Military spending.

Now, since 01/20/09, things have gotten so bad, the Republicans are sponsoring Tea Parties (LT Nixon and Wonkette call it Tea Bagging Parties) in which the idea of overthrowing the government is being seriously considered.

After years of Piss Down Your Back Reaganomics, after the wars of Imperial Conquest of Tipsy Canoe, and 1 month into the Obama administration the situation is so dire a Revolution is required. Of course, these are the same people who for years declared even disagreeing with Bush was Treason and trotted out Sarah Hot and Palin to denounce Doe-mess-tick Tear-ohh-wrists. Except now, these same people believe using violence against the government is acceptable and imminent.

The anti-government movement has champions in Grover Norquist and is being touted as a grass roots populist explosion against government spending. Except these spontaneous American Tea Parties have roots as deep as algae. And who is carrying the water for these events?

Here are the sponsors of the 02/27/09 Chicago Tea Party:
the DontGo Movement; which is for free markets, low-taxes, low-regulation and personal freedoms. Presumably meaning Mr. Eric Odom was against the no-bid contracts given to contractors in Iraq, against stop-loss policy used on Soldiers and Veterans, and then staged protests against the Bush TARP bailout?

FreedomWorks; LessTaxes, LessGovernment, MoreFreedom. Freedom Works has a report on the roots of the financial crisis of 2008, tracing it back to the non-passage of the 1913 Federal Income Tax Amendment. Strangely reading through the document the 1980's receive no attention! Why not? Why Saint Reagan was president then! And he did nothing to expand the government or the national debt! And apparently during the Tipsy Canoe years the only problem was Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac! Although Ben Bernanke disagrees and stated the CRA was not to blame for the housing crisis.

Americans For Prosperity; AFP Foundation is committed to educating citizens about economic policy and a return of the federal government to its Constitutional limits.

Smart Girl Politics; Smart Girl Politics (SGP) is thrilled that Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann agreed to be the first person interviewed for our A Profile in Conservatism series. Uh-Huh, Michelle Bachmann #1 Conservative.

My personality has guided me to the Individualist Anarchist political ideal for several years. During the most criminal years of the Bush Regime (i.e. the entire 8 years) I conducted several thought experiments on the consequences of "more active" resistance and fortunately or unfortunately the conclusions I reached were unacceptable to me. In discussions with friends I've always told them the reason I could never accept "more active" resistance to the government and a removal of the current system would be the danger for their children. I am unwilling to take lives to actually change political realities. I am especially unwilling to fight those I would be arrayed against. In trying to live one day as a lion, I, a pawn would not be sent up against the object of my derision. No my fury would be spent fighting against other pawns, under control and being used by the same puppet masters to whom I myself belong.

When something like a a violent revolt gets started no one, no one can control it's course, there are too many variables which come into being and conspire to spiral events out of control. And yet, we have Senator Jim DeMint, an elected official, urging conservatives to "take to the streets to stop America's slide into socialism".

And this is the prime question which should be put to the Michelle Malkin's (aaaagh! I mean She Who Shall Not Be Named 2) and all the other Armies of Activists who are referencing John Galt, quoting the Second Amendment and polishing their walnut stocks; Are you willing to kill the young men in the police and national guard who would be the first ones sent in to stop a revolt?

*- And no money should be spent to avoid natural disasters, like observing volcanoes.

The Cool Parent

Poor people get bored, too... ~ JCvD, Hard Target (1993)

During the last dreadful months of Tipsy Canoe's Reign of Terror, at the behest of the economic bastards who control him and his party, the American people experinced a smash-n-grab pilfering. As a last kick to the coccyx a scheme was concocted to push through the TARP and directly funnel Billions of dollars to the rich (My Base as Tipsy calls them) while Oil companies gouged people with super-inflated gas prices, reaching over $4.50 a gallon in the Chicago-land area in 2008, which to this day no one in the Bush regime has explained or seems to have any inclination of explaining.

The battle between the parties* is like the battle between two divorced parents over their kids. Each wants the kids to choose them over the other, each uses dirty tactics. Each wants to use the government to enrich themselves, their cronies and their masters. The Republicans, have, developed a very clever idea. Be completely irresponsible and when the bill comes due leave it to the Democrats. They want to be the "Cool Parent".

Over the last 8 years Bush, like all Republicans, ran the country into the ground using the Piss Down Your Back Reaganomics. The clean-up is now in the hands of Obama. And wouldn't you know it, before he even took office the Republican Hounds began barking and yelping at the uncool Democrats who want to raise taxes and be fiscally irresponsible. Heres what Jack Cafferty has to say about Republican "fiscal responsibilty".

Will Obama's plan work? I don't know. But, the Republican party is a criminal Corporate Welfare Gang, they work tirelessly to Privatize Profits and Subsidize Losses. The Republicans know if they're honest about their Socialist plans to funnel Trillions of dollars to the Gang of Corporate Hacks, the people would rebel.

*- Libertarians are like your uncle who drops by every few years smelling like Denmark.

U and US? UBS or Just BS

They suck my body out
But friend there is no doubt
I'm gonna pay the devil his dues
Cause I'm sick of being abused

Eat the rich, eat the rich
Don't you know life is a bitch
Eat the rich, eat the rich
Out of the palace and into the ditch ~ Eat The Rich, Krokus

A dozen or so Americans are suing the Swiss Banking Giant UBS to keep their names secret. Why? Well, this stems from UBS agreeing to turn over information to the US Justice Department last week. Switzerland has always been a natural destination for pilfered funds.

But, this lawsuit is happening because those who put Tipsy Canoe into power did so to use the federal government to funnel Billions of dollars into their hands. That was the whole point of ensuring an ignorant patsy like Bush got into power.

Sex and Violence

It's what we're buying.

Recently, while preparing for a gaming session I entered into a discussion centered on the weight of Jessica Simpson and it's portrayal in the media. C, my friend's wife, was very upset that US Weekly was critical of Simpson and highlighted how gross she looked at 130lbs. C felt this was a terrible message to be sending to the woman of america. I, being the asshole I am, stated Simpson did in fact look terrible in these recent pictures, but not because of her huge veiny boobs, but mainly because of her outfit which was unflattering. However, there is no way Simpson is 130 in those pics, she's probably 150.

Anyway, I do agree, women are held to an impossible standard of beauty by the images we are bombarded with every day. However, it's a stain on our culture which also infects men. For a very wide ranging and myriad amount of issues in society construe to bombard us with sexuality and violence. With the re-ascendancy of brutal gladiatorial fighting in the form of MMA, Men are expected to be one-half Tony Jaa, one-half Allen Standford.

Men are subject to the pressures of measuring up in society through the acquisition of possessions which herald them as "successful". Once you reach "successful" status you then earn access to the sex. Look at the Skyy Vodka image, don't focus on the huge raging erection, the man is obviously a chic successful businessman with his fashionable suit. And having thus made money, perhaps during a run on the New York Stock Exchange, he now may exert his power and dominance over women and gain access to her sex, which is, obviously, all women have to offer due to her supplicant pose highlighting her enormous breasts.

Of course, the idea that men need to be rich and successful in order to be worth receiving the precious gift from a woman is peddled to us through the opposite end of the looking glass as well.

For instance, an article from November, when it became clear to everyone we are in a depression and have been for a while was titled Desperately Seeking Sugar Daddies. The article is peppered with these lovely vignettes:
With Wall Street crashing, it's hard to be a gold digger these days.
"Everyone is looking for handsome, rich men, but there are less and less of them to go around," says one gold digger.
Those Sex and the City salad days are over. She complains, "It sucks to be a single girl right now."
"We don't have time or money to spend hundreds of dollars on a girl. If it's a drink and it doesn't go anywhere, well, at least I'm cutting back."
And being unemployed is not hot."I would never go out with someone who came up to me and said, 'I don't have a job.' " Emilaya shakes her head. "No, no, no." Even the non-English speaker shakes her head no. It's universal: No banking job, no service.
To make the last line more clear, no money no fuckee...

Meanwhile, we are also treated to stories of beautiful women who turn their bodies into financial success. Salma Mega-Tits Hayek got married. The key is whom she got married to, Billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.

Queen of the Harpies, Ran and I continued this discussion in which Queenie told me that Psychology majors go into advertising if they don't turn to academia. I'd recommend everyone take a Psych 101 course so they could at least recognize when their R-Complex is being stimulated, because the key to being free is to realize one is in a cage.*

*- Of course, Republicans don't want you to take such courses, it renders their jedi mind tricks useless.

Richard Shelby channels Alan Keyes

I did not plan on writing anything about Alan Keyes. Keyes is, after all, mentally unbalanced and debating or refuting someone who does not possess his facilities is not a good use of time.

Until... Republican Senator Richard Shelby, who used tax dollars to finance the undercutting of American Auto Companies by foreign ones, echoed Keyes by stating, "I haven’t seen any birth certificate. You have to be born in America to be president.”

I'll not waste time posting more of the Keyesian elocution (watch the video here if you wish), I'm certain most people interested have, at least, a passing understanding. What's important to take away is Shelby an elected Republican would undercut the President in a time of War, surely earning him a firing squad. Wait, what's that? That only works against Democrats? Oh...

Andrew Sullivan calls for leaders of the Republican party to disown the remarks but instead Shelby claps them to his chest.

And blah blah blah Shelby is a disgrace blah blah blah. I mean I haven't seen documentation that Richard Shelby is not insane. Therefore, Richard Shelby is insane, right? Isn't that how syllogistic logic works?

Trillions for Offense Not One Cent for The Poor!

So shout the newly minted fiscal conservatives. The New Mantra of the Republican Party comes on the heels of the obscene spending they indulged in during the Reign of Tipsy Canoe. Trillions of Dollars funneled to the Masters of Misery. But now, with hair tearing rhetoric suitable for the most maudlin dramas, the truly sane Republicans and their hounds have labeled the efforts of Obama as Porkulous and Generational Theft.

No. No Generational Theft is the deaths of hundreds of thousands, including Americans, in a War of Imperial Conquest. And Generational Theft is working to ensure the Transfer of the Wealth of the world into the pockets of those who produce naught but death.

You see, to Republicans, money best belongs in the hands of Erik Prince and his Merry Band, Halliburton and Wandering the nebulous deserts of Iraq. To them spending it here means fascism. And of course no day is complete without a Obama=Hitler photo-op, this one with She Who Shall Not Be Named 2. But, She whines You Liberals called Bush Hitler for years.

While I think the BusHitler references were slightly over the top (Although How did Prescott Make His Money Again?) I recall them coming out after Bush launched his War on the Iraqi People, approved torture for prisoners, began illegal wiretapping of Americans and discounted the Constitution as a worthless god damn piece of paper. While She and others began the BlameBarrackCampaign prior to his even taking office.
