The Staging Grounds IV: It's going to be a Bloodbath

    During his glitchy incoherent rants, demented fascist Trump has taken to making the most ludicrous declarations of his Presidency.  Everything was the greatest of all time.  Everything was the best it ever was.  Everything was perfect.  He did the most for whatever group he's speaking too.  And everything immediately went to hell because you stole the Presidency from him.  It's the final culmination of rightwing propaganda.  It's the Ultimate expression of the Gish Gallop.  But, it's not like the Corporate Media cares to fact check, correct, or call Trump what he actually is because the Legacy Media take their cues and stories from the rightwing media and frame everything through the lens of Republican bullshit.

The Corporate Media coverage of Trump has been shamelessly inadequate for years now and it won't get better anytime soon.

I can not imagine the media BREAKING NEWS shit storm if Vice President Kamala Harris declined to endorse the President the way Mike Pence declined to endorse Trump.

It would be a monumental story of unimaginable magnitude!  Not only would signal the end of Joe Biden's career but it would be no less than a harbinger of the end of the Democratic Party.  It would be lead News Story until such time as a new candidate for President managed to emerge, whom the Corporate Media would waste no time in declaring dead on arrival as they publish 'Oh well wait till next year' news stories and circulate DEMOCRATS IN DISARRAY, as the Media celebrates the coming Republican trifecta control of every single branch of the Federal Government. 

And yet... Trump and Pence is not even a two-day blurb.  

No one is coming to save us.  The media's job is to help Trump and that they will do it with every bit of chicanery, sagacious false concern, and amplification of Republican ratfucking necessary.

It was noted that in the week following the Hur Hatchet Report, the Washington Post and New York Times ran 70+ news stories on Joe Biden's Age, as every media outlet ran articles based on the one sentence Hur released.  So-called savvy pundits were plotting a brokered convention and a swapping out of candidates.

The pampered and petulant Uncommitted "protest" votes gains outsized attentional at every opportunity.

RFK Jr is still receiving coverage despite the fact his prime choice for running mate, Aaron Rodgers, is such a MAGA meatball he adheres to as many rightwing conspiracy theories as the number of times he's beaten the Chicago Bears. 

Trump is all in on the Fear & Anger stimulus response.  

"Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it," he added. "It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country."

So, after Trump invoked the words "bloodbath" 

the Corporate Media rushed to clean up Trump's fascist drivel as they always do.  And Trump's team rushed to make sure the story wasn't "the Bloodbath" but, instead was understood in the proper context, 

“Biden’s policies will create an economic bloodbath for the auto industry and auto workers.”

It's the old Karl Rove playbook of attacking your opponent's strength as a weakness.  But, remember this tactic only works if the compliant Corporate Media uncritically plays along.

“If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal." - as always Trump wants to have it both ways and the media lets him get away with it, he's great friends with President Xi even though he's super hard on Xi and kept China in their place with the Art of the Deal.

Trump then claimed he'll protect Social Security and Medicare (a scant week after he admitted he'll cut "entitlements") and if he loses the election you're not going to get another one.  IMAX doesn't have a screen big enough to capture the Projection.

You could claim "Bloodbath" is just a new variation of the American Carnage speech Trump has given before but, at this point there is no reason anyone should give Traitor Trump the benefit of the doubt about the intentions of the Republicans should they get back into the White House in 2025.  Trump absolutely means violence.

When people say this election is the most important in our lifetimes, cynical pundits like to roll their eyes and dismiss peoples' concerns.  But, those people know they won't be at risk or will even benefit from the Vile Republican 2025 Agenda.  Ben S Shapiro, one day after proclaiming Americans should never be able to retire and should be worked to death, declared he crawl over broken glass to vote for Trump. 

Trump told his crowd that immigrants aren't people,

“I don’t know if you call them people,” he said at a rally near Dayton, Ohio. “In some cases they’re not people, in my opinion. But I’m not allowed to say that because the radical left says that’s a terrible thing to say.”

It's quite clear what Trump and his gaggle of bloodthirsty lieutenants want if he steals back into the White House.  Most likely, they would come for migrants and Trans persons first.  It's questionable whether the American people would allow that but, the thing with Fascist Pogroms is once they are started they gain a momentum all their own.  

It's up to you to vote, to encourage others, to canvas, call or help out in every way conceivable.  The Republican Party sees a singular opportunity coalescing in 2024; a chance to forcibly install a Fascist Fundamentalist Theocracy, eliminate millions, and gut American Democracy for generations.

No one is coming to save Us.  No 14th Amendment trick will make Trump not the Republican candidate.  No Judge wants to convict Trump prior to the Election.  The Corporate Media will not accurately contextual the threat facing Us.  It's up to us to save ourselves and our very lives because if this iteration of the Republican Party gets into Power they will be coming for them.

The Last Details of Mike Pence

I can not think of anyone other than Mike Pence who thought Mike Pence should be President.  So, it comes as no surprise that Mike Pence dropped out of the race.

Everyone recalls Pence playacting a tough guy stare across the DMZ with North Korea while wearing his leather jacket.  But, I think the time Pence sheepishly removed a water bottle in front of him because Trump moved his is the epitome of Mike's entire political career.

Pence benefited from the American tradition of elevating any white man above and beyond his ability, skills, or keen.  And make no mistake Pence was no hero when he was put to the test on Jan6th.  Pence yearned to find someone anyone (Why even Dan Quayle would suffice!) to tell him you can do this, you can overthrow the United States government and remain in power and it's nice and legal (or legal-ish as "George" "Santos" would say).  Instead after not using legerdemain to conduct an Autogolpe, Pence has spent the last 2+ years trying to ridiculously navigate the space between approving the Jan6th rioters calling for his hanging and wooing the Trumpublican mob despite their utter abject hatred for him for failing to deliver the goods.

Part of Mike Pence's appeal to voters was his claim he and Trump would have reneged on the deal to withdraw US Troops from Afghanistan and kept forces in the country.  How that would have worked with the Taliban back in political power is anyone's guess but, when you're concocting fantasy scenarios in your head like RINO Mike Pence well there you go.  Of course, part of Pence's Afghanistan bullshit is to reinforce the nonsense about the 2021 withdrawal being a calamitous calamity of such proportion heretofore never seen in the history of the US and world and to downplay the Trump administration's culpability.

Additionally, Pence cosponsored the AUMF for George W(orst Ever) Bush's invasion of Iraq so it's unsurprising he was still in favor of staying in America's longest war just like Liz Cheney, whom some blind liberals actually believed was on the side of the Democrats instead of being the viper who wants to return the Republican Party to the snobbish bigotry and concealed hatred of the Other.

Anyway good bye forever to Mike Pence we now only have to deal with his devious brother in Indiana.

Every Republican wants to steal Social Security

Watch out, slick as shit Republicans have changed their rhetoric every so slightly, calling their plan to swindle Seniors and future Americans out of their Social Security by calling it Spending Reform.  Much of the Republican policy proposals consist entirely of repackaging shit that's become toxic and unfavorable with brand new name.  Hence, Entitlement Reform which polls poorly is now Spending Reform!  

But understand, when it comes to appealing to the American people Republicans don't believe their product needs to change just the way they present it.  And for years Republicans have wanted to eliminate everything which helps the American people because they want you poor, hungry, and desperate.  Ready and willing to accept any and all jobs and with no prospect of retirement.  Republicans want you to work from 18-65 and then die.  (If you really want to understand the rightwing lizard brain when it comes to how much Republicans hate people read the Heritage Link form 2019 about "reforming" Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Just Murderous.)

Will the Corporate Media have the stones to cover this honestly?  I don't think so, since the Corporate Media's job is to massage Republican perfidy into something that seems rational, normal, and acceptable.  Instead of accurately portraying Republican proposal the Corporate Media ties itself into rhetorical knots to make the plain outcome of Republican policies seem to be the opposite of what Republicans earnestly propose.

Republicans have insisted for years that they will eliminate Abortion Nationwide if given the chance.  The Republican Supremacist Court furthered that plan by aborting Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.  Up to and even after Sammy di Puzzi Alito and Ginni Thomas leaked the opinion the Corporate Media was gainsaying and poo-pooing anyone who pointed out the Republicans always argue in bad faith and are disingenuous with everything they say.  But, the Corporate Media always ignores Republican actions and insists on catapulting the Republican propaganda.  So, Republicans march forward to eliminate Women's reproductive freedom and rights.

Now that Abortion is tantamount illegal in numerous Republican States, Republicans have dropped their bullshit claim that Abortion is a matter best left to States to begin their push to get rid of Abortion everywhere in the United States permanently.  Republicans can advance their nationwide ban with confidence knowing the Media will never cover it until it's a fait accompli and then well I'm certain some phony rightwing outrage over Gay Transgender M&M's or WOKE US Navy aircraft carrier designs will dominate the news cycle.

Human Simulacrum Mike Pence is trying to jump-start his 2024 Presidential ambitions by vowing to steal Social Security,

“I think the day could come when we could replace the New Deal with a better deal. Literally give younger Americans the ability to take a portion of their Social Security withholdings and put that into a private savings account.”

This is lame idea is literally the W(orst POTUS Ever) plan of circa 2004-05, and was fervently what Republicans wanted to have happen in order to stave off the Republican Recession of 2007. Bush et al knew that by stealing social security and funneling it into Wall Street the Republican economic policy which always leads to ruin would have been pushed off for a few more years and fallen square onto a Democratic President's shoulders instead of ruining the last two years off Bush's Evil tenure of murder and mayhem. Instead Republicans crashed the economy as they always do and couldn't convince enough people that it wasn't their fault in 2008.

Now, we are seeing the Republicans pushing forward with the Debt Ceiling brinksmanship in order to get President Joe Biden to agree to cuts to the Social Safety Net, the elimination of Social Security, and the abolishment of another plank of the Progressive Era of the 20th century.

But, Qevin McCarthy has a problem in that Trump already sabotaged the Republican plan to steal Social Security and Republicans can't agree on what GAY WOKE Military budget items they wish to eliminate.  So, the Republicans are left with coming up with cheap lies about work and nebulous spending cuts.

"People come up to me, they actually want to work longer." - Republican Representative Rick Allen of Georgia said in January. Allen was part of craven 2022 Republican coven which proposed raising the retirement age to 70. Because Republicans want you to work and then die. They don't want you to "retire". Retirement is saved for the 1% not the hoi polloi 

Giant Texas asshole Jodey Arrington appealed to the Great Bipartisan Holy Grail of Tip O'Neil and Ronnie Raygun agreeing to devastate Social Security (If you'll recall back in 1981 Ronnie told America Social Security was on the verge of bankruptcy) in 1983 Budget talks and hopes to once again put a steak knife through America.  The New Republican House is primed with Regressive Trolls who think they can win this fight because they've no problems destroying America.  In fact, that's what they want to do.

Mike Pence ruined the Media's narrative. Again.

The narrative was building.  The fever was growing.  The coverage was cresting.  Slimy Republicans war criminals like Ari Fleschier had slithered out from under their rocks to take shots at President Biden.  Maria Bartiromo wanted to know, "Is this Treason?"  And then... and then fucking Mike Pence wrecked everything.  Just like he did on January 6th.

Classified documents were discovered in the Indiana home of former Vice President and current human slime mold Mike Pence.

Now, Mike Pence is no hero.  After losing the 2020 election Pence was asking anyone and everyone for permission to declare the election fraudulent and cause a Constitutional Crisis.  But, nobody was willing to give him the cliched affirmative head nod to Do It.  And the Republican Ron Johnson was stopped at the last minute from handing fake electoral ballots from Wisconsin to Pence so reluctantly Mike Pence didn't overtly aid in the conservative Coup attempt to overthrow the United States Government.

But, even after the murderous mob and conservative kill teams descended upon the Capitol Building calling to "Hang Mike Pence" he has stuck to Trump like the spineless amoeba he is.

But, that was the past.  Now, we had the circling Corporate Media ready to take down a Democratic President.  To prove they're not Liberal!  To prove their BothSides bonafides!  To catapult the Republican propaganda as they always fucking do.  To recreate the But Her Emails coverage with the growing unprecedented Classified Document Scandal! 

But wait, you might say, Trump had hundreds of documents at Merde-A-Lardo.  Trump denied having them.  Trump fought efforts but Government officials to recover them.  Trump concocted a story about declassifying them with his best brain, about the FBI planting them in Melanina's underwear drawer.  These aren't the same thing!  But, I would remind you that the Media doesn't cover Trump or Republican scandals the same way they do for Democratic officials.  The Corporate Media expects Republicans to be despicable.  The Corporate Media knows Republicans are going to commit scandals and are going to go on non-stop scandal sprees one after another.  That's boring.  And that's Old News.

But, Democrats!  Oh ho!  When the Media gets hold of a Democratic scandal.  They gnaw that bone For Years.  And the Corporate Media has been pissed at President Joe Biden ever since he took away their War Boner Coverage.  The Media tried to make the End of the Afghanistan War a giant problem for President Biden.  After not covering it for years.  After not caring about anything in that region of the world for a decade after Osama Bin Laden's death.  The Corporate Media had a chance to emulate Walter Cronkite's Vietnam war coverage or recreate the Wolf Blitzer's famous moments of the 1991 Iraq War.  It was a chance to make their bones.  They were going to dine out on the DC circuit for years on the Blame Joe Biden for the Afghanistan Debacle.  (Incidentally, the Afghanistan "Debacle" is one of the things Major Traitor Greene and the Republican Clown Congress want to "investigate" President Biden).

But, despite some rightwing think tanks gleefully joining in on blaming Joe Biden for Afghanistan, the US people lost interest rather quick.  Because, except for small window at the end of 2001, the US people have never given shit about Afghanistan.  George W. Bush and his cadre of war criminals knew this; that's why they ginned up Iraq.  W(orst President Ever) wasn't going to repeat the mistake of his father by expecting an easily won War to propel him to a second term.  And the leadership of the Republican Party knew then what they know now; they can get away with any Republican lies, crimes, and scandals by ginning up false equivalent scandals in the rightwing media world which they expect the Corporate Media to uncritically adopt.

And man they had it!  The Classified Documents of President Biden was going be the missing 30,000 emails of Hillary Clinton.  But, oops spineless Mike Pence did it again!  Faux News was livid last night!  Rightwingers across Twitter were pissed off;  why didn't Mike Pence just destroy these documents he had?  Why did Mike Pence (or his lawyers) reveal they had them?  Why oh why did Mike Pence destroy their precious Narrative?

The Republican American Dream is to turn the Nation into a Death Camp

There are several unforgivable crimes in America; being poor, being black.  Republicans have added being sick to this list. And the Republican sentence is death.

Before summer’s out, we'll repeal/replace Obamacare w/ system based on personal responsibility, free-market competition &; state-based reform - Vice President Pence, a vicious bigot and murderous attack dog of the Rich doesn't care about the sick, the elderly, or the disabled, except that they die.

Republicans are set to enact the only healthcare plan they've every really believed in: 1) Don't Get Sick, 2) If you do, Die Quickly.

Republicans, those lofty out-of-touch, safely ensconced bureaucrats in Washington D.C. view Americans as cogs in the gears of industry and war.  To be used with no protections, and discarded when broken or worn-out.

When Republicans pine for Capitalism they long for those heady days when children were sent into coal mines and train workers who lost an arm could be fired with no reprecussions or compensation, when women got cancer from making radioactive watches, and young girls were chained into their shirt factory to be burned alive as there were no job killing regulations just worker killing jobs.  Republicans want Americans to work until they die.

This is the Republican American Dream.  Legions of Americans working themselves to death, to further enrich the Plutocrats, who keep Republicans flush with campaign cash in safe gerrymandered districts, where voter supression and no absentee voting ensures only the comfortable elite vote while the poor, the sick, the elderly are sentenced to the best death camps ever devised; Republican controlled America.  The Republican American Dream is a Giant Death Camp.

You Owe Me an Apology #Boycott Hamilton (Updated: Trump can not let it go)

Mike Pence attended a performance of Hamilton the musical. The audience booed him throughout and at the end Pence was given a stern lecture by "Aaron Burr" (Brandon Victor Dixon),

“We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,” he said. “We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.”

Cue the Right-Wing Outrage! Donald Trump, himself, took time out of his looting the federal government, to demand an apology from the Cast and Theater which he described as being a safe space.

Now, while I could point out the hypocrisy of Trump demanding decorum after running a campaign on:

• Trump Pence: Fuck Your Feelings.
• Hillary Sucks. But, not Like Monica.
• Trump that Bitch.

Or after explicitly stating Political Correctness was the cause of America's woes, while stoking the fires of angry white resentment. Or that Trump's supporters now believe they are unleashed to engage in campaigns of intimidation, harassment and violence towards "the other". Or that they same group which played revolutionary dress up for 6 years, threatened to bring their guns, portrayed President Obama as a witch doctor, a lying Kenyan (instead of a Kenyan Lion), and invented all sorts of scandals based on faux and fake news that would be a sisyphean task. Hypocrisy never found so ardent a follower than the American Conservative.

No what's more important is that the President-Elect of the United States, the most powerful person in the Federal Government, is demanding censorship of free speech.

Yes, yes a large swath of conservative wimps like Michelle Malkin, Newt Gingrich, and Eric Erickson RedState have jumped forward to demand the apology and #BoycottHamilton is trending amongst right-wingers but, who cares that group of cultural dilettantes were not going to go to rap musical with a minority cast.

Trump is going to be spewing forth this diarrhea for 4 years and with the power of the FBI and Department of Justice behind him, egged on by lame-ass conservative pussies I can't wait until the new House Un-American Committee is stood up.

Demanding an apology makes right-wingers look weak and ineffectual. Keep it up conservatives.

Donald Trump can not let it go. Trump tweeted that he hears Hamilton is overrated and reiterrated his demand they apologize. Meanwhile on Faux News, Judge Jeanine Pirro, suffering from 8 years of right-wing ammnesia, screeched Mike Pence must be respected and accepted and screamed the Hamilton cast should stick to "hip-hop" and "dance" and poor Pence was subjected to "out-and-out reverse racism".

We can clearly see Faux News will unflappably carry the torch for Trump and will readily engage in whipping up conseravtive drones into a fury to distract from Trump's failures and scandals. Because does anyone know Trump agreed to pay $25,000,000 for Fraud in the Trump University Case? Well, since there apparently weren't emailz involved the Media doesn't find it all that worrisome.

The next four years are going to be replete with fraud, theft, scandal, misery and death for Americans and the World.
