Trump Tower is a public nuisance that threatens the Chicago River with its cooling-water intake system that illegally sucked in and killed thousands of fish over a number of years, a judge ruled this week.

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul and a pair of environmental organizations had asked Cook County Circuit Judge Thaddeus L. Wilson last year to rule on failures of the building operator to comply with environmental laws.

The building at 401 N. Wabash Ave. operates without a proper state environmental permit, does not accurately report water discharge levels and violates at least three other laws, according to the lawsuit.

Wilson found that those facts are “well founded” and “not materially challenged.”

The judge said in an order Monday that the Trump Tower “has created and continues to create a a public nuisance in violation of Illinois law,” and the intake system operates “in a manner that substantially and unreasonably interferes with the public right to fish and otherwise recreate in the Chicago River.”

Before tonight's absolute farce of a debate, where Trump will claim Kamala Harris isn't black and is responsible for Haitians eating cats in Ohio and Venezuela annexing Colorado, let's understand that even with rampant Republican election interference and voter suppression Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are going to win the popular vote by 10,000,000+ votes and the Electoral College handily (North Carolina and Florida are going to go Harris and Walz)...

This is not a Doom post or a prediction, I'm following the sequence of events that is going to happen in November; an overwhelming Harris/Walz victory, followed by senile traitor Trump declaring it was rigged and stolen and... 

And then... I genuinely wonder what happens next? 

Foruntately, Total Weirdo Trump is not in charge of the Executive Branch as he was after losing in 2020 and leading up to his attempt to overthrow the United States Government on Jan6th 2021.  Unfortunately, the Republican traitors learned many lessons from the attempted Coup d'etat in 2021.

Certainly, the Supremacist Court is more nakedly Partisan and overtly Fascist than it was back in 2000.  But, while all they had to do then was stop the count in Jeb Bush's state to give W(orst POTUS Ever) the election, this year just as in 2020, they'll be facing an overwhelming rejection of Trump by both popular vote and the archaic Constitutional rules.  Will the Six Supremacist Injustices really have the gall and temerity to state "Nope, Trump wins 6-3."  I find this highly unlikely and don't believe we will see a repeat of 2000.

But, we've got a hint of what Trump will argue with the latest polls, including Nate Silver's vaunted 538 Poll, and the NYT poll showing Trump ahead.  I can't outright say these are meaningless but, the polls haven't accurately predicted anything since and including 2016.  Trump was crushed in 2020. No Red Wave occurred in 2022.  Every special election, even those in hard rightwing states, have not gone the Republicans way despite the "polls".  Now, look Faux News and Trump are going to claim The Polls on September 10!!!  It shows me way up, Trump will say, as Faux News bold giant headline declares Trump has a 64% Chance of winning the Electoral College!!! And as everyone knows 64% of the time it works... every time...

But, when reality sets in and Harris/Walz win a crushing victory this November then Trump is going to take every opportunity to claim the Election was Stolen and most likely, with his current rapid descent into syphilitic senility overtly call for the Overthrow of the United States.

Trump call for a Civil War is likely to go unheeded.   The more dangerous scheme are the Bureaucratic Coup attempts that multiple independent journalists, have pointed out the apparent scheme Republicans are likely to use, involving delaying the vote count in one or more states, lawsuits to get Democratic ballots thrown out, and the hopes they can pull off the House of Representatives delegation vote to secure the election.

There are some local MAGA traitors who are thinking of throwing out election results under their control, for example the Georgia 3 Trump has mentioned by name, and there are numerous other MAGA turncoats embedded waiting for the chance to act.  But, their efforts are more of a catalyst of getting a qualified authority to claim the election is invalid and not the ability to get the election results thrown out in favor Trump themselves.

Remember Republicans are naturally cowards.  Like Trump they call for something to be done and expect/hope the other person does the dirty work (and thus gets the blame) while they swoop in to scoop up the spoils.  I think when Republicans, from local, State, the House, Senate, State and Federal Courts, try to fuck with the election results none of them are going to have the gall or evil courage to put their name down as overthrowing the United States.  Remember those that did Jan 6th were hung out to dry by Trump and his mouth noises towards pardoning them after he assumes power are really designed to convince the new crop of rightwing domestic terrorists to engage in crimes to help him into power.

The questions are: who amongst the Right will be the first to declare Trump the Winner in the face of evidence and who will go along willingly and who will go along out of fear/desperation?  Or will it happen at all?

Do what you gotta do," this did not sit well with the Miami-Dade Biker Cops, who within one minute of conducting the traffic stop, escalated the situation out of control, yanked Hill out of the car onto the pavement, where they put a knee on his back.  Hill was paraded to the curb, thrown to the ground when he didn't sit fast enough, handcuffed, and was subject to some really unprofessional wise ass comments about his knee surgery,

"What a coincidence.  Did you have surgery on your ears when we told you to put the window down?"

And this was just on recent speech.  In the past few months, the incoherent statements, the number of insane falsehoods, the number of unhinged fascist declarations, the rabid calls for violence, and the number of easily disprovable lies by Trump would fill columns in Newspapers...  if the Corporate Media cared to cover it.

The Corporate Media wants him to be President again.  So, they will continue in their policy of "sane-washing" his comments and re-organizing his actual statements so it doesn't look like unintelligible gibberish.

The Corporate Media wanted Joe Biden gone and the Democrats in Disarray so they could help propel their Dear Leader DonOld Trump back into the White House.

What they got in July instead was a masterful political maneuver by President Biden, which energized the Democratic base and enlivened the casual Democratic voter and positioned Kamala Harris to be the next President.

This was not how this was supposed to go when the Corporate Media wrote for months about President Biden's age, which is why since that fateful day in July, the Corporate Media hasn't mentioned that DonOld Traitor Trump is a senile, incoherent criminal making up absolute garbage lies, engaging in non-stop racist and sexist attacks on soon-to-be President Harris, and demonstrating that besides all the criminal activity, he is not only morally unfit and ethically unsound for the Office of President he is in need of committal to a mental health institute.

Harris and Walz can win and if the recent new voter registration figures can over come the Republican voter suppression and ballot rigging efforts, then the dirty tricks Republicans in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, Arizona, Wisconsin and elsewhere won't matter.  Because Harris will win not only by landslide popular vote numbers but with a solid near blowout Electoral College Vote.  Right now we have to win, we can talk about reconciliation and deprogramming the MAGA cultists later.

It was always obvious "Thoughts & Prayers" was a tacit admission by Republicans that they intend to do nothing, absolutely nothing, about mass shootings in general and shootings at schools in particular.  In fact, in response to shootings Republicans have always made getting guns easier and senile traitor Trump bragged about resisting pressure to pass any gun law.

 Ann Coulter wasn't the only Republican making fun of Gus Walz after last week's raucous DNC.  A low-light low-life Wisconsin I Heart Radio jockey Jay Weber did as well and he was removed from air (perhaps temporarily).  Besides him and the numerous rightwing villains who made fun of Gus Walz and Tim Walz, Chicago's very own Amy Jacobsen (a knock off Coulter/Faux News blonde clone) decided making fun of children is the bedrock Republican principle which typifies the Modern GOP and is the foundation of ugly old weirdo Trump's clarion call to destroy the Nation and replace it with a Totalitarian MAGA paradise.

After the DNC ,Jacobsen spent her radio program mocking and mimicking Gus Walz, but besides spreading rightwing lies and agitprop via Talk Radio 560 The Answer Jacobsen was apparently the head coach for the Amundsen High School Boy's and Girl's varsity volleyball. 

Was in the operative word because Jacobsen was given the dignity to resign, a dignity she doesn't extend to children, after numerous parents complained to the school.

Amundsen Principal Kristi Eilers notified parents in a letter stating, “Effective immediately, Coach Amy Jacobson is no longer part of the athletic program at Amundsen.”

 Republicans are disgusting cretins and despicable cowards.  After they received blowback for making fun of Gus Walz, they all retreated to the defense we didn't know he was ADHD or mentally divergent.  As if, making fun of a "regular" child, is okay.  But, to Republicans it is because they are all in on making Trump President again so they can institute a Fascist Nation.  In fact that's the exact defense Jacobsen's on-air co-host used,

The Social Media age has resulted in an explosion of Republican influencers who infest Elon Muck's Twitter (X) like a horde of shit-eating flies.  Because of this each has to ramp up their rhetoric and make more and more over-the-top insults, provocations, conspiracies, slanders, and doxxing attacks all the way from senior Democratic officials to their families, to small town liberals, and anyone who impedes the rightwing agenda of enshrining the Rich and Racist into permanent power in America.

Now, juxtapose this with the story of the giant balloon drop at culmination of the DNC 2024.  I saw it live and was worried a bunch of Sean Hannity and knock-off Hannity clones on Faux News would start in with the limousine liberal crap and decry this giant environmental disaster and then I read what the community which gathered to prep the balloons had done,

Now, read very carefully.  Yes, I'm sure you've heard Republicans claim this is just going to be a deportation program for "illegals" and is going to be very legal with absolutely no evil intent.  Well, that's just malarkey or more directly complete and utter horse shit.

Republicans are Fascists.  One tenet of fascism is you issue orders;  a Fascist like Couch Fucker Vance or ugly weirdo Trump, issues the immoral, impossible, or insane dictates, then leaves it bureaucratic state to implement them.  They know people who believe in service or government or law&order will try and figure out how best to make this "lawful" order happen despite all the logistic difficulties, moral quandaries, and illegal gray areas.  This is precisely what happened in Iraq and Poland, during the illegal torture program Bush and Cheney dictated, which Don Rumsfeld ordered, and John Yoo sanitized, and Naval Lawyer Ron DeSantis vigorously defended.  They relied on regular CIA agents and normal everyday people to carry out the actual acts of torture without specifying how and thus the upper levels of the Bush Regime got away with their War Crimes.

Trump has engaged in shockingly sexist and racist comments at his rallies and interviews against future President Kamala Harris.  

Trump has invented shockingly racist and sexist and totally false claims about helicopter rides and meetings with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Trump has engaged in shockingly puerile and juvenile insults mispronouncing the future President's first and last name. 

Trump has posted shockingly racist and sexist images directly on his "Truth Social" account against Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama.

Trump engaged in one of the most despicable political stunts at Arlington National Cemetery trampling over graves, pushing women around, aping and clowning over the dead bodies all in violation of Federal Law prohibiting using the ANC and markers as political props for his tawdry campaign.

Trump's and his gang of goons behavior at Arlington was so egregious and unconscionable the United States Army took the unprecedented step of rebuking their former Commander-in-Chief.  So... why hasn't the Corporate Media come out said Trump is not qualified for the Office of President?

This isn't even taking into account the crimes Trump committed before, during, and after his evil term in office.  Let alone the false promises about Infrastructure Week, or his "Big Beautiful Healthcare plan" which never materialized.  Or him destroying Roe, setting the Taliban up for success in Afghanistan, or taking credit for Presidents Biden and Obama accomplishments.  Nor does it cover the whole violation of his Oath of Office, after losing the Presidential Election in 2020 leading up to his attempt to overthrow the United States Government on January 6th.

So, I'm going to tell you why the Corporate Media won't declare Trump must step down, Trump can not be President, Trump's age disqualifies him, or Trump is wholly unfit for Office.  There are two reasons; one base and crass, and the other dangerous for the future of the Nation.

First and foremost, The Corporate Media wants Trump back in office.  They yearn for the chaotic ya never know what he's gonna do next!  The Showmanship!  The "funny" insults!  Oooooh, what a time that was!  The Corporate Media loves their Dear Leader DonOld Trump.

Second, and this is more serious, the Constitution, the system of "checks & balances", the guardrails, the norms and traditions, the majesty of the office, The Law, and the Corporate Media are institutionally not able to handle a committed conman like Trump.  The Founding Fathers, (PBUT), set up the government on the tacit understanding that those who would follow would be just like them, gentlemen farmers, educated, well-read, adhering to Enlightenment concepts and political philosophy.  The mechanism they created to handle a rogue actor (Impeachment) has an impossibly high bar because, they did not believe a faction of America would be wholly disingenuous and act in bad faith, and use their offices to destroy the very fabric of the Nation, which is exactly what Republicans are doing.

So... don't expect the bombshell Corporate Media October Surprise to knock Trump out.  Mind you, the Media is still searching for someway to hit Harris and Walz but, even Trump's despicable criminal desecration of Arlington National Cemetery isn't enough to get the Media to call for his immediate withdrawal.
