So... Beer...  contra Benjamin Franklin's wisdom beer is not proof god loves us and wants to be happy.  But, to quote Homer Simpson alcohol is the cause and solution to all the world's problems.

Back in January, Canadian health officials and the World Health Organization reported that the amount of alcohol that is safe to consume is almost none.  2 drinks a week maximum is the new recommendation.  Incidentally, every drunk I've ever pulled over has always claimed to have had just 2 beers before driving.

Never one to let a good ginned-up controversy go to waste the Republicans claimed Joe Brandon is trying to take your beers away from you!  Faux News nincompoop Petey Doocey asked in a White House Press Conference "Does President Biden want to limit Americans to two beers a week?" and Faux News headlines are Biden White House dodges the question.  I'm surprised Kid Rock wasn't brought on to shoot up some Budweiser Zeroes...  

Republicans really have no respect for their voting base.  Ted Cruz would have you believe he was drinking brewskis with his chums while at Haaaaaaaaavard and Princeton, "If they want us to drink two beers a week, they can kiss my ass…". Yeah, right.  Rafael is so thirsty for tough guy bonafides.  Although, I bet while Cruz was vacationing in Cancun he drank plenty of Pina Colada's while Texas residents suffered from his typical lack of leadership.

As usual, elitist Republicans make these ham-handed, play-acting efforts to be seen as regular Joes instead of the smooth-bodied wide-waisted Ivy Leaguers.  Just "Belive" John Kennedy polishing his little silver .38 is a tough guy.  

Anyway, alcohol is not good for you.  No red wine isn't healthy.  No two drinks a night isn't okay.  But, there is truth in wine and the truth is alcohol is a poison.

This has been known for a long time but, the alcohol lobby is very powerful.  Just think of the billionaire families who made their money just distributing beer;  the Wirtz family in Chicago own the Blackhawks and Cindy McCain (nee Hensley) bootlegger father was the second largest Anheuser-Busch distributor in the US; as he grudgingly bankrolled John McCain's Senate runs.

The recent booze fueled antics of Wisconsin Drunk Van Orden and pill-popping, vodka-chugging Texan Ronny Jackson both have shown what mean drunks Republicans are but, despicable Republicans will never let an opportunity to lie about President Biden go to waste.

President Abraham Lincoln knew what and whom we are dealing with today back in 1860.  Conservatives have decided that unless we the people yield unconditionally to them they will ruin America.  Republican Rule or Ruin...

Lazy Elitist Ted Cruz spits on hard working Starbucks Baristas

I don't recommend grinding a pound of the oleaginous Ted Cruz to make coffee even though you'd have nearly 300lbs to work with.

During Covid, some of the hardest working and most exposed people other than Nurses were coffee shop baristas.  Because they couldn't work from home making the millions of galloons of coffee Americans drink everyday.  It's probably one of the most important jobs in the country, throughout Covid Starbucks baristas kept America going.

Baristas also put up with rude and dangerous people; from entitled Karen's flinging drinks at them, to petty thieves stealing tip jars.  And do you know whom Starbucks baristas routinely take care of?  Cops.

So, here comes Rafael "Ted" Cruz, who's had quite a year demanding the arrest of Supreme Court Law Clerks, shitting on dead children in Uvalde, and pissing on Veterans affected by burn pits from George W. Bush's wars.  So of course, that despicable, entitled, elitist Princeton and Harvard educated lawyer, whose never worked a real job, and has spent the last 25 years in politics shuffling papers, releases an elitist tirade against regular hard-working Americans, 

“If you are that slacker barista who wasted seven years in college studying completely useless things, now has loans and can't get a job, Joe Biden just gave you 20 grand. Like, holy cow! 20 grand. You know, maybe you weren't gonna vote in November, and suddenly you just got 20 grand. And you know, if you can get off the bong for a minute and head down to the voting station... or just send in your mail-in ballot that the Democrats have helpfully sent you, it could drive up turnout, particularly among young people.”

Just chock full of smug stereotypes and current rightwing voting fraud lies.  Just dripping with look down your nose, I'll throw my half-cafe caramel macchiato at you if it's not hot enough smugness.  Unlike Ted's Harvard and Princeton law school education, Ted Cruz thinks your college choices are useless.  All to appeal to tough-talkin', hard-workin' Texas folk, whom I guess must like having a smarmy elitist who uses fancy lawyer tricks instead of plain common sense like "Ted" to represent their state in the US Senate.  Why just last year double-talking Ted tried to claim he and the Republican Party were for the working class,

"And I think the most significant political change of the last decade has been that the heart and soul of the Republican Party - we are a working class party now. We are a blue-collar party. That's what we should have been, and that's what we are."

And for the most part Corporate Media let's Cruz and Republicans get away with saying how much for the working man they are now, even while Mehmet Oz goes off on how Crudites cost $20 dollars now and he hasn't even made it to the Anejo Tequila aisle!!! 

In reality, when Ted Cruz or any Republican talks about how they are for the working class now, what they mean is the Republicans are for shackling the working class with generational debt, destroying any chance the working class has towards achieving the American dream, and chaining up Starbucks baristas into perpetual wage slavery and bondage serving double-talking Ted Cruz his coffee while he luxuriates on his Texas coffee plantation.

Republicans hate Veterans.  The GOP doesn't give a rat's hind tit about Veterans and never has.  Republicans only support Veterans like Tom Cotton, who call for using the US Military to put down Americans seeking to express their rights to speech and assembly. 

 

Republicans see Veterans and active duty service members as naught but little tokens to be used and tossed aside if one becomes broken or unresponsive to the rightwing agenda of hatred, intolerance and oppression.  And Republicans don't give a shit if you know it anymore.

The Republicans in the Senate voted against funding for Veterans affected by the toxic miasma which emanated from the burn pits used throughout Global War on Terror.  Republicans callous disregard for Veterans is borne from the fact that the majority of Republican Chickenhawk Warmongers didn't serve and don't know anything about the Bush/Cheney Wars and don't give a shit about Veterans except to use them as props for their re-election campaigns.

Once again we have a situation in this country were Republicans have been allowed to get away with claiming they love the troops, they support the troops, they cherish the troops while their actions are wholly, diametrically in opposition but, the Corporate Media has always let Republicans get away with such lies about everything. 

For years, Republicans paid lip service to Supportin' the Troops and Thank You For Your Service and Wounded Warriors.  It was all a con.  It was all a facade.  It was all a lie.  Republicans hate Veterans and see their healthcare as an unacceptable drain.  For Republicans Veterans and The Troops have always been a rhetorical cudgel to bash the left; for instance War Crimes Cheerleader Sean Hannity in the 2000's the only way to support the troops was to unquestioningly support the Iraq War and march in lock-step behind W(orst POTUS Ever).  Recall that Sean Hannity had his Oliver North/Hannity Freedom Alliance Charity concerts ostensibly for Wounded Veterans and their children's college funds but, in reality was little more than a way to funnel charitable donations into Hannity's bank account.

There is nothing good about this; but, this does highlight something Republicans aren't ready to accept or face.  They've lost any presumptive advantage amongst Veterans, even if conservatives are unwilling to accept it.  During the Phony GWoT, conservatives by and large eschewed military service.  And the Chickenhawk cowardice of right-wingers was noted and seen by a lot of the younger generation.  Hence in 2020, active duty service members and Veterans voted for Biden over Trump.  Because they see how they are actually disrespected and mistreated by the cowardly GOP.

Republican Senators Marsha Blackburn, Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz and others did a media blitz to distract, deflect, and distort from the awful truth of GOP policies and to get their Corporate Media lapdogs to help catapult their propaganda.  As always Republicans are mad that someone accurately reported their positions. Of course, the real crime here is the Rape-publican Party seeking to deprive women in America of freedom and liberty and pushing women into a quasi second-class status by removing their bodily autonomy but, odious Ted Cruz on his podcast and in numerous rightwing media appearances expressed a theory, which augered the direction Republicans will go by harkening back to classic Nazi Propaganda techniques;

First off, while Cruz demands the person be disbarred and jailed I have yet to hear anyone point out the criminal statute that was violated in releasing the initial draft to Politico.  So until one of these Republican "Lawmakers" cites the legal chapter and verse violated they should shut up.  But... they won't because they're playing the Republican Two-Step of pretending Style (the leak) is more important than the Substance (the destruction of women's rights).  But, even if we accept the leak narrative there would be most likely One or Two Suspects, but listen to what Little Eichmann Cruz has done with a fascist flourish he's labelled 12 innocent people as Suspects.  Why? Because in Republican parlance some people are a priori  guilty by their very nature.

This is how Nazis talk.  And no that's not hyperbole.  Ted Cruz is getting conservatives riled up to equate the Liberal Supreme Justices as guilty of something because they're "suspects" and suspects deserve whatever treatment they receive from Police; just like every black person in America knows.

Black History Month seems to bring out Republican Racism.  Of course, I could post hundreds of public statements Republicans, in and out of office, have made belittling, denigrating, besmirching, and otherwise insulting black people going back years.  Here's an unexceptional comment from 2014,

Look don't expect any of this rabid racism and blatant bigotry to hurt Republicans.  The Corporate Media expects it from the GOP, therefore Republicans' racism is barely a footnote in the fight to besmirch Joe Biden's SCOTUS appointment.  I don't know how to combat a Media invested in equivocating Republican perfidy, in bothsides-ing everything, in uncritically accepting bad faith Republican claims that actually Joe Biden and an unnamed Black Woman are the Real Racists!  Meanwhile, conservatives have been yearning for this kind of raw racist red meat from the Republican Party and are not satisfied with Lee Atwater dog whistles or euphemisms anymore.

MAGAland was giddy with glee and unmitigated joy when conservatives thought only the Big City libs and minorities were dying from Covid in 2020.  When Jared "666" Kushner declared the Trump Government would not be helping THOSE PEOPLE in the early stages of the Pandemic, conservatives celebrated and laughed.

Now, I will mention conservatives pretend to be against Big Government especially big Federal Government but, that's a lie. Don't expect calls of hypocrisy to alter conservatives minds' because they are shameless. Conservatives love big government when said government is devoted to the Reactionary destruction of minorities, liberals, feminists, LGBTQ, workers rights, clean air and water, and anything which interferes with returning the United States to a Neo-Feudal Wage Slave State where Americans are trapped forever in Corporate Bondage. 

If you were to ask a rightwinger for the goals and ideology of #Antifa or for a breakdown of funding and money flow, they will emphatically declare #Antifa are the Real Fascists and they are funded by George Soros (and/or the DNC). But, ask for recruitment techniques and methods or for an actual manifesto and the responses will get a little more generic. Then ask them for a detailed command & control table or an organizational Line & Block chart with actual names and you'll see the blank stare of those who have willingly swallowed rightwing propaganda and don't think for themselves or know anything.

#Antifa is a convenient bogeyman for the Right. It allows Republicans to grandstand and produce those unctuous floor speeches, Ted Cruz is known for. But, it's also a useful tool for the upcoming 2020 Elections.

Trump and the Republican can bemoan and wail, 'We tried to get those dastardly #Antifa declared terrorists but, those Obama DC bureaucrats and Witch Hunt FBI agents are too busy investigating innocent Trump! That's why you need to re-elect Trump and as many Republicans to office so we can drain the swamp, repeal Roe v. Wade, arrest George Soros, undo Obamacare, outlaw #Antifa, etc, etc, etc.'

The other more sinister reason for this is once the Republicans can declare #Antifa terrorists, well then they have to power to arrest anyone who speaks out against their agenda of hatred, intolerance and oppression. Did you protest the selling of National Parks for drilling and despoliation? You are #Antifa. Off to GITMO. Did you join Moms demand Action on Gun Control? Well, that's #Antifa. The Banana Republican Party latest plan to kill thousands and bankrupt millions of Americans is moving forward in fits and starts.  As the Party of Treason and Subversion of the United States the Respublikanskaya Partiya hates the American People and wishes to curtail the gains Americans made in the 20th century.

The Repeal and Replacement of Obamacare with They Don't Care is a case in point.  Republicans rallied against the ACA for 7 years!  They gnashed their teeth, they tore their hair, they beat their breasts, if only that Dastardly Obama would get out of the way they, the Republicans, would pass a Healthcare Insurance Law which would stand for all time.

Now, since the 2016 elections, the Republicans hold the entire Federal Government.  Yet, all they've mananged to propose are plans so cobbled together, so inane, and so monstorously evil even their duped and battered right-wing drones don't support it and the Insurance Industry has declared the latest version which includes the Ted Cruz Amendment "unworkable".  Ah, but there is one group which supports it, the Republicans Masters' the 1%.

Trump's campaign gave conservatives everything they wanted. Outright bigotry, violent racist language, implied calls for violence and explicit consent to harm the American People.

But Trump's election gave Republicans a chance to get everything they and the 1% have wanted; an End to American Dream and the elimination of the Social Safety Net.  Republicans serve the Plutocracy and the Plutocracy has no use for the American Dream. Republicans view American's value only in terms of the amount of work each American can do and the amount of excess labor value the Vulture Capitalist class can extract from each them.

The Progressive gains of the 20th century marked an actual rise for Americans which the Founding of the Nation and the Glided Age of the 19th century kept confined to the owners of the Nation.  And those Owners, the 1%, hate those progressive gains.  Because when the working class is no longer held in the shackles of corporate bondage and wage slavery they go on and create a pluralistic society with broad based protections for workers, the elderly, the afllicted with a chance for future generations to rise above the preceeding.

The Republicans HATE that.  The Republicans want a return to the days when a railway worker losing an arm on the job was kicked off at the next stop and left to fend for himself.  The Republicans want a return to the days when elderly coal miners were glad not to have been killed in an unsafe mine explosion or cave-in so they can instead whither away of black lung disease and die in a pauper's hovel.  The Republicans want a return to the days when medical care, education, pensions, and the prosepct of living and enjoying your golden years was reserved for the Rich.

The Republicans Don't Care and that is the Healthcare law they are passing.

The Republican Don't Care bill has apparently failed.  While it's fortunate the Republicans are as flaccid and incompetent as they are anti-American but, until the Republicans are removed from Congress they won't stop in their efforts to kill the poor and impoverish the working class.

The Mendacious Ted Cruz wants Obamacare

Senator Rafael 'Ted' Cruz is signing up for Obamacare Coverage. Just last month at CPAC 2015, during his 15 minute speaking section Cruz used his kazoo-like voice to rile up the right-wing rubes;

• "Washington wants Obamacare. The People want Liberty!"
• "Obamacare is a trainwreck, actually that's unfair to trainwrecks.
• "Obamacare is a disaster!"
• "If a candidate says they are against Obamacare, tell them, 'Great when have you stood and fought against it?'"

Cruz then had a 10 minute Q&A with Sean Hannity wherein he repeatedly referred to "the disaster that is Obamacare" or "the trainwreck that is Obamacare".

As a quick aside, there's something about that phrasing, "the disaster that is..." which doesn't sound grammatically correct or even resonate properly like good propaganda. It's too clunky, too awkward. It must work on right-wingers though, because everyone from Cruz to Michele Bachmann have empolyed it.

Anyways, that was February this is a whole month later. You see, Ted Cruz's wife, Heidi used to work at Goldman Sachs, stealing money from poor people, defrauding governments and rigging the financial system. Her job as a Thief at Sachs included a lavish Cadillac Healthcare Plan from which Ted Cruz benefited. But, now Ted and family won't have that luxury, so Senator and Republican Presidential wannabe Cruz has signed up for Obamacare Coverage.

"We will presumably go on the exchange and sign up for health care and we're in the process of transitioning over to do that," Cruz told the Des Moines Register's Jennifer Jacobs. 

Cruz has tried to hem and haw that the law as written mandates that Congress be on the exchanges but, that's a slimy dodge. Cruz could simply take a fine and have the courage of his convictions and go without coverage, paying his medical bills out of pocket as the need arises.

But, Republicans are all cowards. Cruz wants other Americans to suffer and face the risks of living without medical insurance. Cruz, like all Republicans is willing to risk your health and financial security but not his own.

Conservatives are just aching to Start the Slaughter

they are fervently searching for a casus belli to make their murderous designs and blood-letting urges Righteous.

“I will remind you that this group of renegades that decided that they wanted to break from the crown in 1776 did great damage to the economy of the colonies. They created the greatest nation and the best form of government, but they did damage to the economy in the short run.” Republican Morgan Griffith.

The Republican Party, a group worse than Al Qaeda, is not so subtly enticing their duped conservative drones into a frenzy of Revolution and Violence. 

The election and re-election of President Obama shows that the United States is a Center-Left Nation. Most liberals are disappointed that President Obama has been too conciliatory and too willing to negotiate with the Republicans, whose every action is geared with the long term goal of crushing Democracy and installing a Neo-Feudalist Corporate controlled Slave State.

But, now the Republican Party has moved beyond mere rhetoric and hoped-for stochastic terrorism with the Government Shutdown.

Unable to make an cogent argument to the American People, the Republican Party has been steadily moving to subvert the Government and use the byzantine rules of the SCOTUS, Senate and House to transform the Nation into a thinly-veiled Fascist Wonderland which caters to the Rich and placates the right-wing bigots.

Bill Moyers has correctly labeled this as sabotage of the Democratic process; Secession by another name.

But, while the majority of Republicans are probably just playing with fire and hoping to achieve their goals of enforcing the Will of the Plutocracy by political brinkmanship, not every Right-Wing fanatic realizes this is and several prominent Republicans (Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Michele Bachmann, Louis Gohmert and Steve King) and many lower level Republican stooges actually do believe a Revolution is now inevitable and necessary.

Domestic Terrorist, Chicken Hawk, Child Raping, Draft-dodging Coward Ted Nugent wanted to ride into combat and behead Democrats and declared after the 2012 re-election of President Obama he would either be dead or in jail. 

Scott Boston, a foot solider in Dana Loesch's St. Louis Tea Party declared they intended to Kill Democratic Senator Clarie McCaskill, “She walks around like she’s some sort of Rainbow Brite Care Bear or something but really she’s an evil monster. We have to kill the Claire Bear."

There were calls by Sarah Palin to "not retreat, reload" and "Target the 20". Michele Bachmann wanted her constituents "armed and dangerous" over Obamacare. Sharron Angle urged her supporters to "Use Second Amendment Remedies" to remove Harry Reid if she lost. And Virginia Republican Catherine Crabill forcefully asserted, "We have a chance to fight this battle at the Ballot Box before we have to resort to the Bullet Box".

Virginia GOP Ponch McPhee, Editor of the Greene County Virginia Newsletter, wrote the following,

The ultimate task for the people is to remain vigilant and aware  ~ that the government, their government is out of control, and this moment, this opportunity, must not be forsaken, must not escape us, for we shall not have any coarse but armed revolution should we fail with the power of the vote in November ~ This Republic cannot survive for 4 more years underneath this political socialist ideologue.

But, when Multiple Republicans take to the floor of the House and Senate to declare Obamacare is going to Destroy America those comments are steadily building up the belief in duped conservatives and murderous Right-Wing zealots the righteous stance that because their electoral will was thwarted in 2012 armed violence is now their only recourse.

Truckers Ride for the Constitution was a plan by right-wingers to shutdown DC on Columbus Day weekend. Earl Conlon, a leader of the Truckers, declared President Obama has committed "Treason" and identified Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein, as politicians he sought to "arrest" for alleged acts against the Constitution.

"If all I get is one or two congressmen walked out of there in handcuffs, that will be a shot across the bow that will ripple across all branches of government..."

                                                                                   
While the actual effect was a couple truckers driving slowly around the I-495 turnpike, Faux News trumpeted the lunatic Truckers as speaking for the Will of the American People, and couch-borne commandos peppered news stories of planting the seeds of Revolution.

Also on Columbus Day weekend, Larry Klayman led dozens of Tea Party fanatics in Washington DC,

“I call upon all of you to wage a second American revolution, to use civil disobedience, and to demand that this president leave town… [President Obama] get up, to put the Quran down, to get up off his knees, and to figuratively come out with his hands up.”

Perhaps, most frightening and most illuminating is the conservative domestic terrorist predilection to reveal their actual thought process and desires by claiming that Obama, the Democratic Party, leftists, basically the other side are planning on engaging in violence.

Glenn Beck has been stoking the flames of the Right-Wing Putsch for years now and what better way to get duped conservatives to start the killing than to tell them they are about to be attacked,

There are numerous further examples of Conservative Domestic Terrorists moving beyond mere Internet bravado but, what's especially dangerous are the Republican Bureaucrats in DC purposefully invoking Revolutionary language,

I don’t know that they have yet violated the Third Amendment, but I expect them to start quartering soldiers in peoples’ homes soon.” Republican Senator Ted Cruz, leader of the Right-Wing Insurrection, at the No-Values Voter Conference.

Cruz is obviously a Cuban Infiltrator working to undermine the United States from within. Cruz has done far more damage to Americans than Che Guevara or Fidel Castro could every have dreamed of or accomplished.

Now, why would Cruz refer to one of the Founders specifically enumerated Rights stemming from one of the original complaints of the Revolutionary Founding Fathers?

The threatened use of violence to effect political change is Terrorism. At every rally, when a Republican mentions President Obama, a cry of "Tyrant!" is heard from the crowd. And we all know what Real Americans do to Tyrant's don't we?

Flying the Confederate Flag in front of the White House. There, in the place of honor, held higher than Old Glory and my beloved EGA is the Flag of Arch-Traitors.

So, here we wait heading towards Default, whatever that means, while Conservatives prepare to unleash their murderous pent up anger and Destroy America to Save it...

Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) supports Child Pornography and Adam Lanza's Right to Murder Children

Senator Ted Cruz is the latest in the string of needle-dicked pissant Republicans to bring their sick and twisted ideology to Washington DC.

Like a plague of locusts they descend upon the Capitol with the goal of grinding the American people into dust. Cruz thought he would school Senator Diane Feinstein (D-California) about the Bill of Rights.

Senator Cruz: The question that I would pose to the senior senator from California is Would she deem it consistent with the Bill of Rights for Congress to engage in the same endeavor that we are contemplating doing with the Second Amendment in the context of the First or Fourth Amendment, namely, would she consider it constitutional for Congress to specify that the First Amendment shall apply only to the following books and shall not apply to the books that Congress has deemed outside the protection of the Bill of Rights? Likewise, would she think that the Fourth Amendment’s protection against searches and seizures could properly apply only to the following specified individuals and not to the individuals that Congress has deemed outside the protection of the Bill of Rights? 

So, according to Cruz's view of the Senate and Constitution Child Pornography magazines and websites can't be deemed illegal because of the First Amendment.

Also I, as a Police Officer, am unable to arrest people deemed criminals because the Senate can't specify that some citizens lose their Fourth Amendment Rights.

And I couldn't do anything when a gang banger threatens to "catch you on the street" and "cap your bitch-ass" to a person in my town. I can't arrest him because that would be a violation of his First Amendment rights.

And Senator Cruz's condescending despicable rhetorical question was all about protecting the right of murderers. According to Senator Cruz, the Second Amendment Rights of Nancy and Adam Lanza are more important than 26 Americans, including 20 children, Rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Republicans are twisted and evil. Their minds have become so warped by their sick ideology that they can not support Laws or Government.

The US Senate is attempting to create sensible Gun Restrictions. No Republicans will support such a Law. When a Country loses the Rule of Law you have Anarchy and that was as big a fear to the Founding Fathers as any.

Update:
I could have highlighted any number of possible scenarios (could the Senate stop the publication of a book containing Senator Cruz's bank account numbers, access codes, passwords, SSN, mothers' maiden name along with his address and photos of his daily routine, routes to work, time he likes to shower for instance) but it comes down to the fundamental question can the Government pass any Legislation?
