Chicken Hawks Mitt Romney and Joe Walsh smear Veterans

Republicans are cheap suits and grave robbers. That despicable right-wing generation who currently infest DC came of age by being spineless cowards. They actively avoided service in Vietnam in order to advance their political careers at home. Now they are only too ready to Use Dead Veterans as Props for their Campaigns and to smear living War Veterans.

Mitt Romney revived his Benghazi Hit Job on the President by invoking the name of Glen Doherty. Republicans love dead Veterans because they can stick their words into the mouths of the dead. It's awful and it's been the standard MO of Right-Wingers, especially cowardly pukes like Romney, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove.

Well, Barbara Doherty, the mother of the slain Former SEAL, ordered Romney to stop using her son's death for his political gain.

"I don't trust Romney," she said. "He shouldn't make my son's death part of his political agenda. It's wrong to use these brave young men, who wanted freedom for all, to degrade Obama."

Mrs. Doherty is correct in her opinion of Mitt Romney's character, the cowardly Romney has made his entire career and fortune on using people. It's what the Plutocrats like Mitt Romney do.

However, here in Illinois my Congressman Joe Walsh found things a bit more difficult as he faced a living Veteran and found out his tawdry smears only highlight his cowardice.

During the debate between Congressman Walsh and Tammy Duckworth, Walsh head up a photo and stated,

"I was marching in a parade in Schaumburg (IL), Sunday, two days before the Democratic convention, when Tammy Duckworth was on a stage down in Charlotte (NC) — if you can look at the picture — picking out a dress for her speech Tuesday night.”

Duckworth, merely retorted, 

"I do sometimes look at the clothes that I wear, but for most of my adult life, I’ve worn one color — it’s called camouflage.” Adding, "My opponent has attempted to criticize me for talking about my military service. But I served — and he didn’t."

Joe Walsh isn't your standard Republican. He's been trying to carve a niche for himself over at Faux News since his whisper thin victory over Melissa Bean in 2010.

Mainly, Walsh has accomplished this by yelling out that President Obama is black, by screaming at his constituents, by telling Postal Workers in his district he's going to vote to eliminate their jobs and by getting sued for over $100,000 in child support. But, nationally, Republicans have made Troop Worship a Fetish. But, let a Veteran speak out against them and Right-Wingers will no more honor you than Iraqi insurgent or Al Qaeda operative would.

Veterans and those slain in war mean very little to Republicans. George W(orst President Ever) Bush gave 6 Gold Star Families a "Special" Presidential Coin when they visited him since he couldn't be bothered to show up for their funerals and admonished them; "Don’t go sell it on eBay.”

Republicans don't care about Veterans.

Republicans love war. Republicans love the acclaim that comes with waving the Bloody Shirt and talking about Freedom from the comfort of their stateside offices. Republicans love the Trillions of Dollars and thousands of lives they feed the rapacious War Machine.

That is what Mitt Romney represents. Mitt Romney couldn't care less for individual military members,

"I didn’t use the word troops, I used the word military, and I think [giggles] they refer to the same thing.” 

The Military-Industrial-Complex are people, my friend! Romney only cares for the Military-Industrial-Complex and how best to use dead Veterans to advance his Campaign.

According to a friend of Doherty's, Elf Ellefsen, Romney introduced himself to Doherty four separate times during the gathering.

“He said it was very comical,” Ellefsen said, “Mitt Romney approached him ultimately four times, using this private gathering as a political venture to further his image. He kept introducing himself as Mitt Romney, a political figure. The same introduction, the same opening line. Glen believed it to be very insincere and stale.”

Ellefsen said Doherty remembered Romney as robotic.

“He said it was pathetic and comical to have the same person come up to you within only a half hour, have this person reintroduce himself to you, having absolutely no idea whatsoever that he just did this 20 minutes ago, and did not even recognize Glen’s face.”

Congressman Joe Walsh what do you think of wounded Veterans?

"Ehhhh... Now let's move on." - Joe Walsh, Tea Party Republican

Congressman Joe Walsh is gearing up for the 2012 elections. He's going to face Tammy Duckworth for the Illinois 8th District. "What else has she done? Female, wounded veteran … ehhh,” he continued.

This is standard for conservatives. Once they are facing a Democrat with military service, they smear them or discount their service.

In the 1990's, Walsh a failed actor, proclaimed himself a fiscal conservative and social liberal, who supported Clinton's "Safe, Legal, and Rare" abortion plan.

In 2010, as Walsh was running for Congress for the third time, he pulled his thumb out of his ass, stuck it in the wind and declared himself a Tea Partier. Walsh's declaration was good enough for ignorant duped right-wingers who snuck Walsh into Congress. Since, his election Right-Wingers happily stand behind Joe Walsh because he insults President Obama.

Since, his election Walsh has been a shameless despicable conservative. He has done nothing. He's missed major votes in the U.S. House. Walsh is a deadbeat dad who owes more than $117,000 in missed child support payments. Walsh seems to have run for Congress to get some sweet, sweet Government welfare and healthcare insurance.

He has offered up nothing to help the Illinois constituents he claims to represent and has turned a eye towards making in-roads into the Alternate Conservative Reality and the Right-Wing culture of lies and slanders.

Congressman Joe Walsh is a shameless Tea Party Republican. He's the worst Representative in the US. Yes, worse than Michele Bachmann or Steve King.

And this isn't the first time Walsh has pissed on veterans. Walsh was recorded belching forth a red-faced tirade at Melissa Rakestraw, a USPS worker who lives in his district, when she dared to explain to Walsh that Wall Street and the Banks had crashed the economy. Walsh declared he was "sick of hearing that crap!" and "Don't blame the banks!"

Rakestraw also informed Walsh that his blind obedience to the Right-Wing agenda of destroying the Post Office would result in Veterans losing their jobs with the USPS and Walsh told her, "I don't care about the loss of public sector jobs."

But, none of this matters to Right-Wingers. They are going to Stand with Joe Walsh and support him simply because he "talks tough" and claims to be a Tea Party fighter. Tammy Duckworth correctly summed up Joe Walsh, "He’s not there to serve his constituents. He’s there to be the voice of the tea party.”

Time to go Joe and be true to your right-wing values and don't collect your Government welfare for work you didn't do...

Joe Walsh v. Tammy Duckworth, any bets who conservatives will vote for?

"After much soul searching and discussions with my wife Helene, friends, and supporters, I am here tonight to announce that I will stand for re-election in the 8th district of Illinois. I am running for re-election to fight for those in my district who feel like they are losing their country." - Representative Joe Walsh (R-IL)

Joe Walsh is going to run against Tammy Duckworth, Wounded Iraq War veteran and former assistant secretary of Veterans Affairs, for the newly realigned Illinois 8th District in 2012.

Any bets whom Conservatives will champion? Of course, they'll back the disgraceful Joe Walsh.

I can't think of a bigger piece of garbage in the US Congress than Joe Walsh. Yes, even including Michele Bachmann. Everything we have learned about Joe Walsh shows he is interested in only one thing, getting money into the hands of Joe Walsh.

Walsh, first tried to make a name for himself as being the Tea Party candidate who called President Obama black. Then he worried that "American Jews aren't Pro-Israel enough."

Walsh outdid himself by going on a screaming red-faced tirade at Melissa Rakestraw, an Illinois resident and Postal worker, who dared to talk to him. Walsh screamed, "DON'T blame the Banks! I am tired of hearing that crap!" The "crap" being the truth about how the Banks and Wall Street collapsed the US housing market and turned the US economy into a giant gambling ring.

Rakestraw, later told Walsh, many returning Veterans work at the USPS, Walsh said he didn't care if Veterans lost their jobs as long as the Republicon plan to destroy the USPS was accomplished.

Walsh wasn't done. Walsh told a town hall he considered Veterans joining OWS and #Occupy protests "Anti-American" and "they don't understand this country." That would be Joe Walsh, ZERO days in uniform, ZERO days deployed.

There can hardly be a more illustrative example of the current conservative hypocritical mindset than Joe Walsh. Apparently, the conservative notion of supporting the troops extends only as far as the magnetic field on their yellow bumper stickers.

It goes beyond being the willing dupes for the Right or accepting Karl Rove's tactics of attacking a Democratic politicans' strength. Conservatives are the willing foot-soldiers to the Republicon Guard, and the willing slaves of the 1%.

The October 2011 Chicago Magazine showed the average sale price for the suburban homes around Chicago. Municipalities, like Palatine, Vernon Hills, Mundelein, Lincolnshire, Lake Zurich, in Joe Walsh's current Congressional District have all seen their 2011 housing value drop from 2010.

What Illinois residents have learned about Joe Walsh is the same thing his ex-wife and kids learned about him. Joe Walsh is a deadbeat who doesn't give a crap about the people he supposedly represents and is only interested in securing a job for himself sucking off taxpayers or working in DC as a lobbyist.
