Bear or Man is getting out of control. Because RFK Jr killed bear cub and he, his Plutocratic benefactors, staunch Republican friends, and the Media are trying to kill Democracy.

Fortunately, despite Republican efforts to disenfranchise numerous Americans, Kamala Harris is going to be the 47th President of the United States.

I don't believe RFK Jr's bullshit tale about the Central Park bear cub.  This fucking asshole lunatic was drunk and/or high, killed a bear, and then drove around all day thinking of what to do with it.  And decided to dump the carcass in Central Park. (ETA:  I finally saw the picture (which I can not fucking believe is real but it is) of Kennedy with the dead bear body and it strikes me as just cruel.  There is something deeply pathological about playing with dead animals.)

Brain dead Barr &
Brain dead Bear
Killer Yuckin' it Up!
RFK Jr did a video interview with Rosanne Barr in... an attempt to get ahead of this story?  Read this synopsis from RFK Jr, some of the details are ridiculous and detached from reality.

  • Did too much Falconing?
  • "Wasn't" drinking of course?
  • Took too long eating his thousand dollar fancy steak dinner?
  • Forgot he had a flight?
  • Get.  The.  Fuck.  Out.  Of.  Here...

Anyone who takes this story at face value or even believes his tale of finding a dead bear and wanting to skin and eat it has as many brain worms as RFK Jr.  As if this dog-eating, steroid-abusin', madman's story about literal brain worms consuming his head wasn't enough, if this asshole doesn't drop out of the Presidential Race, after killing a bear cub, driving around with it all day, dumping it's corpse into Central Park, and now being worried his Falconer buddies would tell on him, it is a sure sign billionaire plutocrats are trying to use him in their grand scheme to ratfvck the 2024 election.

What most people don't understand is it's never just one tactic, Republicans and their rich Reactionary overlords use multiple methods to subvert elections.  For example; Republicans sow distrust in government and your role in it, Republicans tell you voting doesn't change anything, Republicans finance and back 3rd party candidates to siphon of support, Republicans make voting difficult or impossible for certain classed of people, Republicans throw people of of voting rolls, Republicans give wrong information about voting locations and times, Republicans deceive people about voting registration, Republicans challenge ballots, Republicans deny their electoral defeats.

Everything Republicans do is designed to have less people voting.  Republicans can't win on their policies.  Republicans can't win on ideas.  Republicans can't win on their personal morals, character, or principles.  Because they have none.

I'm still waiting for the Corporate Media to call for weird #DonOld Trump and Robert Fucking Bear Killer Kennedy Jr to drop out of the race.  I know this day will never come so, get everyone you can registered to vote, remind them to vote, and make sure they voted, because the Media and the Republicans are going to do everything they can, to steal the election and reinstall TCFG back into the White House, because he's promised to destroy the country and turn it over to the Plutocratic Billionaires and Fascist Fundamentalists.

If you want to Know what your job would be like without Unions, Ask a Concussed NFL Player

On 01/28/12 Chicago Tribune ran a story on former Bears Linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer and his struggles upon suffering his career-ending concussion during the 2010 NFL Season.
On August 28 2010, Hillenmeyer suffered a concussion during a pre-season game. He was placed on injured reserve before the season and has never played again. The Bears terminated his contract Feb. 28, 2011, one month after the team's concussion consultant, Dr. Elizabeth Pieroth, a board certified clinical neuropsychologist, examined him and recommended he no longer play. The Bears cut him with one year and $1.8 million remaining on his contract. According to the union, Article 45 of the collective bargaining agreement stipulates Hillenmeyer is eligible for an injury protection benefit of 50 percent of his base salary up to $1 million, meaning he should be able to collect $900,000.
If you want to know what it's like to be a non-unioned employee, look at what the NFL Teams do to their players. Oh got hurt? Can't play anymore? Gone. NFL players have short careers, averaging roughly 3.5 years. They have a famously powerful Union. Hunter Hillenmeyer had a contract. The Bears aren't honoring it.

This is what we have to look forward to as the 1% continues their drive in the Right to Work for Less laws. RTW doesn't actually secure you a job what it secures is your employers' right to fuck you over. And fucking over workers is what American Capitalism is designed to do.
Don't want to come in on the weekend? You're Fired!
Don't want to work Thanksgiving? You're Fired!
Got hurt on the job? Well, the Company says you didn't. Now, try and get benefits. Oh and the Republicans eliminated Medicare and stole Social Security.
The Indiana Republican controlled Legislature pushed through Right-to-Work-For-Less and Governor Mitch Daniels signed the bill into law on 2/1/12.

Quickly upon the heels of this success the Republican controlled State Legislature of Minnesota and Arizona are trying to pass through Union-busting and anti-worker agendas. Minnesota Republicans want to amend their state constitution to outlaw Unions.

2011 saw Republicans in Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan push through heinous anti-worker legislation in direct opposition to the will of their constituents. The current Republican attempts at fucking over the 99% are always done on the strength of We're a Representative Democracy. But, what it shows is Republicans are the equivalent of governmental suicide bombers. Once they get elected they never ever represent their people but engage in a political campaign of doing the most damage possible without worrying about the electoral consequences.

Because even if the Republican scumbags are voted out or recalled, they've done the explosive damage they sought to do and they've assured themselves of Right-Wing Paradise being lavished with hundreds of thousands in speaking fees from Conservative Think Tanks or jobs as rhetorical bomb-throwers on Faux News.

Non-Union workers demonstrably receive less in wages and benefits. Non-Union workers are at whim workers. This is precisely what the 1% wants, the ability to reduce pay and eliminate pensions and have every worker afraid, one wrong step, one breath away from termination.

And do you think you're going to be able to fight and win a lawsuit against a Criminal Corporate Conglomerate? Look at the former Bears player Hillenmeyer. He earned millions in his career but it's coming up on one year since his release. Think you can hold out for a year trying to win a legal battle against Corporate Criminals? They will drag court procedures out for decades because they never die, but the victims of Vulture Capitalists, the 99% do...

Do you want to know how dishonest Fox is? Even Fox Sports lies...

Jay Cutler has been very maligned as of late. Before getting to the perfidy of Fox Sports, here's a little about the beating he has taken in the last few years as the Bears QB. In the last 17 games, Jay Cutler has been sacked 63 times. Peyton Manning has been sacked 61 times in his last 64 games. Cutler has already been sacked 11 times this season and knocked down another 17 times, he's on pace to set a dubious NFL record for most QB sacks in a season.

8 months ago in the NFC Championship game Cutler suffered a torn MCL. Torn.

But, what did Fox Sports writer Jason Whitlock do? He wrote a column and stated this emphatically "I don’t need an MRI to confirm King Cutler quit".

Then Whitlock spent hours on 670 The Score yelling at Dan Bernstein and Terry Boers how Back when I played college ball he played a whole season on a torn ACL. Whitlock also told Boers and Bernstein if Cutler had been more demonstrable and more visibly in pain in the game or on the sideline he would have believed Cutler was injured. So basically, if Jay had acted more injured and feigned trying to gut through a bad injury it would have made Whitlock feel more convinced of Cutler's serious injury.

The entire "debate" about Cutler was despicable, but Fox always finds a way to surpass their previous dishonesty and shamelessness and continues the utter lack of any journalistic integrity within the entire Organization.

During the Bears victory over the Falcons on Sept 11, Fox Sports displayed the following headlines:
“Cutler Leaves With Injury”

“Cutler Lacks Courage”

“Cutler’s No Leader”
Then Darryl Johnston relayed “these are the actual headlines from the local papers in Chicago.”

Of course, they are not. The Chicago Tribune called Fox and got the following quotes from Fox Sports spokesman Dan Bell, "It was misleading." "The wrong word was used." "Our attempt was to capture the overall sentiment nationwide following that game.”

I don't know if someone over at Fox has a grudge against Cutler for demanding out of Denver or for failing their fantasy football team. But, the Fox Sports lies and maligning of Jay Cutler did not end with Week 1 but carried over into the Week 2 match up with the New Orleans Saints.

I don't listen to any Fox broadcast preferring Tom Thayer's erudite descriptions and Jeff Joniak's hometown partisanship over at WBBM 780.

So, last week when Fox Sports sent their #1 Team, I muted the tv broadcast from Where is Troy Aikman's Brain? and the inane blatherings of the overrated Joe Buck. So while I saw Fox broadcast I didn't hear what was being discussed until afterwards.

During the game as the Saints were beating the Bears, Fox showed several wide angle shots of Jay Cutler standing alone far away from the rest of the team. Joe Buck wondered 'I don't know why Jay Cutler is standing over there by himself' as Fox continued to hammer away at the Cutler is No Leader meme they have adopted. Finally, Troy Aikman had to halt the constant Cutler bashing by stating, he also watched the game far away from the bench so that he could see the entire field.

This is worse than misleading, this is outright fabrication and lies. But, then, Fox Sports is a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch's NewsCorp. As Gregg Rosenthal wrote for NBC Sports over at profootballtalk, Why make up headlines when they could just hack into Cutler’s voice mail and create a real one?

Update:
I believe most Bears fans wish Cutler had responded to his critics thusly

What Jay Cutler's Knee Injury can teach us about PTSD

"I want you to get that man out of here right away. I won't have these other brave boys seeing such a bastard babied." ~ George S. Patton
The Bears lost to the Packers 21-14 yesterday. Jay Cutler was injured in the Bears loss to the Packers sunday. Just before half he took several hits and Fox Sports zoomed in on his bloodied right elbow. But, during one sequence Troy Aikman noted Cutler was limping off the field. On the next series Cutler threw an incompletion (his final pass of the game) in which he short armed the throw getting no support from his legs.

Cutler then finished the game on the sideline as Caleb Hanie almost became a legend but fell just short of leading the Bears back. After the Bears lost, a segment of Bears fans and NFL players began attacking Cutler for getting injured labeling him a quitter and a "pussy".

Cutler tore his MCL. Tore it.

Cutler has been one of the toughest players I've ever seen. However, many people dislike Cutler because of their perceptions about his attitude and demeanor. No one knew yesterday, except for Cutler and the Bears medical staff, the extent of his injury, yet that doesn't stop people from calling him a "pussy". I am disgusted by so-called Bears fans and any NFL player who is attacking Cutler.

However, what the incessant calls to 670 The Score, the tweets by NFL players and the on line yahoo sports comments illustrate is there is a certain base meanness which permeates much of our society. And it's ugly.

It strikes me this is similar to what people did to soldiers suffering from what had been called, "shell shock", "battle fatigue", the "thousand-yard stare" and is now known as PTSD or Combat Stress Reaction. They very rarely believed the suffering veteran. And it took a soldier the stature of Audie Murphy coming forward with what he suffered after World War 2 to reduce the stigma of combat stress.

Because many Americans and even people who have suffered through similar experiences seem to have this feeling that anyone who professes to be injured is actually malingering.

It's disgusting and it's a part of the American fabric.

Update:
Bears players and GM Jerry Angelo hit back hard at the baseless and ugly classless attacks on Jay Cutler as well as Pro Football Weekly Owener Hub Arkush and 670 The Score announcers Terry Boers and Dan Bernstein. When Angelo was asked about the bullshit comments by NFL punks he stated, "I think it's crap. I thought they were a union. If that’s the way they unionize themselves, they got bigger issues than the one that they have with the owners. I’m very disappointed. That, to me, is dirty pool." Good for you Jerry.

Boers began his show by stating he was "completely ashamed to be affiliated with the ignorant bastards who felt it, compelled to call this radio station". Boers and Bernstein then thankfully spent their entire show blasting their brainless "meatball" listeners, classless NFL punks, and testicle lacking reporters who attacked Cutler.

And then late night Score Bears Reporter Laurence Holmes broke the overall story about Jay Cutler's serious knee injury. Holmes was at the game. Holmes has first hand reporting. He is a primary source. All these NFL players, sports reporters and and analysts who are attacking Cutler are not. So, any reporter or columnist (Jason Whitlock) who questions Cutler's injury should have their reporting skills questioned.

But, to you Jimmy Johnson of Fox Sports; Shove a microphone up your ass and go back to peddling your late night snake-oil dick pills. No wonder you coached the Cowboys, you little-dicked scum bag.

Lovie Smith is a Good NFL Head Coach

The Bears are who we thought they were! ~ Dennis Green
The Bears defeated the Miami Dolphins 16-0 to improve to 7-3 this season. Which brings up the question of Lovie Smith's coaching ability. Lovie is not liked very much in Chicago. I tend to get exasperated at some of his coaching habits which seem to be mistakes to me. His challenge technique is poor and his record in them supports that conclusion. Additionally, he's lost several games (including one playoff game and nearly another) by his seeming inability to adjust his defensive schemes. But!!!

But, the Bears are in first place this year after 10 games and his record overall is very good. And during his tenure the Bears made their second Super Bowl appearance and, although they lost, it was to the favored Indianapolis Colts. Lovie has never lost a clubhouse or had his players turn on him.

Brian Urlacher, who predates Lovie Smith and is the best Bears player of the last 10 years and a borderline Hall of Famer, when asked about the negative coverage of Lovie by Marshall Faulk after the win said, "I don't understand it, man. I love Coach Smith. I think the problem is the media doesn't like him. He doesn't tell them what they want to hear. He doesn't sell players out on the field to the media."

Urlacher may be correct about the Media's dislike for Lovie, several 670 The Score radio personalities do not hide their desire for Lovie to be fired. And many sports fans in Chicago call up The Score and complain, 'Lovie isn't fired up on the sideline', that Lovie doesn't have 'The Fire and The Passion' to coach. While a rabid sideline demeanor is not a quality of a good coach, playoff appearances and victories are a good barometer. Following the Super Bowl Loss the Bears have failed to make the playoffs in last 3 seasons. So, during this last offseason the Bears picked up Julius Peppers, the best defensive end the team has had since Richard Dent, and Chester Taylor to guard against the possibility that Matt Forte is an average running back. The Bears are not blessed with unbelievable talent.

And that brings up the best argument for Lovie's status as good NFL coach. During his tenure Jerry Angelo has been a failure in talent evaluation and drafting. And has routinely left the Bears with deficiencies at key positions.

Jerry Angelo has a terrible record at drafting in the first round. Angelo has neglected to draft an offensive lineman in the early rounds since his failure with Marc Columbo and has not taken an offensive player of significance outside the aforementioned Matt Forte. The Bears best offensive player QB Jay Cutler was acquired via an expensive trade.

What Angelo has succeed in is drafting pro-bowl caliber defensive players, with Lance Briggs being a longshot Hall of Famer, and the gamble on Devin Hester.

Devin Hester is the best punt/kick returner to ever step onto a pro football field. His presence alone has been worth 3-4 wins a year since 2006.

And here is the problem, Lovie Smith has been saddled with a preponderance of average to below average players (by NFL standards) and has succeeded in squeezing the most out of those players and Jerry Angelo is very good at seeing raw, unrefined talent but fails at the task of selecting bona fide #1s. And Hester's play has covered up the egregious errors by Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo.

Which leaves the Bears were they have been for the past 3 seasons. Around the middle of the league. But, this season's not over and as the wins pile up, it's becoming harder and harder to justify the hatred of Lovie Smith who is a good NFL Coach.

Republican Fire and Passion

"You're the same guy who wrote about me when I did have the fire. How it was the wrong thing to do. So Who You Crappin'?" ~ Mike Ditka to Terry Boers
Dan Bernstein of 670 The Score often decries the Meatballs Bears fans who call in and denounce Lovie Smith for his calm demeanor on the sidelines...

The Meatball Bears Fans demand Smith be more demonstrative and show what Bernstein has sardonically dubbed The Fire and The Passion whilst coaching Da Bears.

Because some Bears fans conflate unhinged emotional temper tantrums with good leadership.

Well, isn't it appropriate the Fetid Punk Ass Bitch Republicans wring their hands and demand Obama show more emotion when talking about the War on Terra and the Radicalized Islamists! Here's Ron Christie, VP Dick Handler, on the Chris Matthews show lamenting that President Obama is acting like Doctor Spock and not running around shooting guys in the face... (From the always excellent Crooks and Liars Video Page.)

Punk Ass Bitch Republicans are Meatballs, dumb twits who mistake emotion for reason. And who, in not using their higher brain functions, equate fearmongering and lying with good leadership.
