The Legend of Stalker Vance: What a Drag (Queen), Coward who didn't reenlist, or serve in Afghanistan (what a pitiable man)

Okay first thing first.  Anyone who says using the picture of J.D. Vance dressed in drag is beneath us; is a bad faith actor who is trying to stem the surging Harris/Walz momentum.  

Second, to any Republican who smugly replies 'so much for the tolerant left', the Ghost of Karl Popper should appear to hit them in the head with a hammer.  The issue isn't our tolerance.  Wear whatever you want.  The problem is the complete Intolerance of the Right;  Trump and rightwing influencers have called for the eradication of Transpeople, repeatedly.

As to J.D. Vance, he's a shameless parasite who changes his persona more often than he reapplies his guy liner.

J.D. Vance is the lowest of the low.  After trashing poor white people in Appalachia he became a man who sold out everything, and everyone, and abandoned every principle he seemed to hold in order to have a shot at political power.  Vance is now leading the attack on Governor Walz which every conservative including Chickenhawks who never served a day are amplifying.  Worse Vance seems comfortable treating his wife and children like garbage, and eager to debase himself for Traitor Trump in an effort to appease his rabid base of racist garbage followers. 

Cowardly, J.D. Vance (aka Corporal James Hamel) who did not reenlist in the Marine Corps after his paltry 4 years of active duty were up, and didn't serve in Afghanistan at all, despite falsely claiming he answered his country's call for service is still attacking Vice President Walz's military service.  And because Trump and Vance are bereft of ideas and moral black holes, Vance thinks stalking President Harris from place to place is the way to run his campaign. 

Now, as to this picture... I don't want to hear any excuses about oh it's probably Halloween or oh it's a joke because you can tell how not made up to look like a women he is.  It isn't a joke.  Vance's heel turn isn't kayfabe it's designed to attract the vile weirdo rightwing terrorists and Genital Inspectors who want to monitor women's menstrual cycles and execute LGBTQ people.

Here at GuyLiner Airlines were guarantee we will:
A) Monitor the fertility of each and every little girl
B) Force her to have sex with you

These people who support Trump and Vance have been threatening for years to murder LGBTQ people.

  Republicans and their fanatical base of domestic terrorism allege anyone who dresses in drag is a pedophile.  They've stated Drag Shows are child abuse and grooming operations.  They've called Trans people mentally ill and said Trans people are the evil, criminals, and should be killed.  Elected Republicans in Congress like, Major Traitor Greene and Foghorn Kennedy have insulted Trans people during committee hearings to score political points.  And just last week,  Republicans insinuated that Kamala Harris wants "biological men" to beat up women because of the Olympic Boxing "controversy" involving the Algerian boxer Imane Khelif.

Right now, J.D. Vance and his campaign team (such as it is) are trying to figure out how to attack President Harris and Vice President Walz over this.  This is just simply outrageous. It's beyond IOKIYAR.  It's beyond mere hypocrisy.  The choice this November could not be more clear nor more stark;  Trump and Vance are cheap and tawdry, creepy criminal hypocrites, who will empower racists, fascist fundamentalists, weirdos, and the Plutocrats to tear down the United States and replace it with a cheap simulacrum of a Democratic Republic.  Harris and Walz are demonstrably Real Americans who speak towards reaching that more perfect Union.

Update:

It is now incontrovertible that J.D. Vance dressed and vamped in drag, as a second picture has been released.  This is just sad.  I think "Vance" is a pitiable man.  He's one of these lost young men searching for meaning, purpose, sense of self.  I knew a lot of these millennials who had watched Fight Club and American Pyscho and took Tyler Durden's basic nihilist philosophy and Patrick Batemen's sociopathy as guiding ideas.  Then 9/11 happened to them and they thought they would become real men (whatever that means) by joining the military.

If Vance wasn't set upon harming millions of Americans and engaged in a campaign of personal destruction against people who have done him no harm.  I'd feel the need to help him.  Instead we've got to crush him and Traitor DonOld Trump no matter how that shatters his psyche.

It will also be in keeping with rightwing America's homophobia and violent hatred of the other to destroy Vance over this...

Can't Stop Thinking about the Roman Empire...

So, this TikTok phenomenon of Ask Your Man how often he Thinks about the Roman Empire is super irritating...

Now, I know in Internet time I'm very late to this "issue".  But, the Roman Empire isn't going anywhere...

I guess part of this is the feeling I want to have that I was into Rome before it was cool (kind of like the phenomenon of liking a band before they were big) but, of course that's not in anyway reality.

The Roman Empire has been forefront in the minds of Europeans since Odoacer was named Rex of Italiae in 476.  And of course, Charlemagne thought of nothing but the Romena Empire before and after his coronation as Emperor in 800.  William Shakespeare (if you believe Shaxkspere wrote Shakespear) wrote 4 plays about "The Roman Empire", 

And Edward Gibbon's 6 volume Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire is as old as the United States.

There have also been famous novels turned into films or series, such as Quo Vadis by Polish Nobel Laureate Henryk Sienkiewicz and Robert Graves' I, Claudius and Claudius the God.

And then there is The Film Industry, in Hollywood and abroad, which has been making films and TV series about Rome and the Roman Empire for over 100 years.  Certainly many of them are biblical in nature, Ben-Hur or The Robe starring Vic Mature come to mind.  Of course, modern revamped interest in Rome writ large probably stems from the Russell Crowe/Ridley Scott film Gladiator in 2000.

New Speaker Mike Johnson can't stop thinking about all the Gay Sex those virile muscular Roman sword swishing gladiators were engaged in.  But, it seems that the current fascination with "Rome" per se is this toxic masculinity nonsense associated with this Hard Times paradigm.

And this whole stupid Hard Times meme featuring a silhouetted faux hoplite is nothing more than a dumbed-down bastardization of the Polybius cycle of government.  and reminds me of all the stupid incels and men going their own way posting I Studied the Blade memes and We Hunted the Mammoth rhetoric.

The Revenge of the Thin Blue Line 12: I would do anything for Health; but I won't get Vaxxed

Meatloaf has died, apparently of Covid.  While Loaf's career spanned 50 years I as a GenXer know him for his power ballad I would do anything for love parentheses but I won't do that parentheses and his role in the Chuck Palahniuk film Fight Club.  His name was Loaf took (or always was) a hard right-winger belting out a ridiculous America the Beautiful for Vulture Capitalist Mitt R-Money 2012 Presidential campaign. 

But, once again Covid shows the Republican ideology is death.  

And nothing illustrates this more than the large city of Aurora, Illinois.  We are coming up on the two year anniversary of a Mass Shooting in Aurora, Illinois (I have to add Illinois in so you don't get confused with the mass shootings in Aurora, Colorado) in which 4 responding Police Officers were shot and wounded.  Of course 6 other people were murdered prior to Police arrival so in the NRA inspired guerrilla warfare upon the United States this was another win for the blood-soaked Gun Industry. 

But, in the past week 2 Aurora Police Officers have succumbed to Covid.

It is a grotesque inversion of threat analysis that Police Officers have been brainwashed by Republican liars to nonchalantly risk their lives and remain unvaccinated.  For the second straight year Covid is the leading cause of death amongst Police Officers nationwide.  

Are departments properly informing Officers of the actual risks?  Laying out the actual facts for Officer Safety?  In 21 days of January we have 11 Officer deaths from Covid.  Probably, not because so many Sheriffs and Officers have spent decades steeped in the incestious rightwing echo chamber of fear, lies, and propaganda.  They trust Fucker Carlson more than Doctor Anthony Fauci and take the missives of The White Male Grim Reaper Candeath Owens as the True Gospel. Blue Lives Matter?  Not to Republicans who see dead Americans as a political winner.

Iraq War Costs

A US soldier in Iraq allegedly shot and murdered two other US soldiers.

I don't know the facts in this case so I won't speculate on the reasons this happened which could be almost anyhting.

But the fact which I can comment on is; Two More Deaths.

Does anyone not connected care at all? Does the politician who uses the War (pro or against) know about this situation? Does any of the true cost and horror being visited upon people register at all? The Surge (and the disgusting rush to capitalize upon it's success in lowering violence) has allowed people the ability to compartmentalize the War costs.

To many of the American People that Sofa is the Surge. "Golly gee I sure don't need to worry about that darn Iraq War anymore."

Maj. Gen. Anthony Cucolo called the deaths "a tragic and senseless loss of two professional soldiers..." The problem is the entire war is a tragic and senseless loss of thousands of lives.
