In Vitro Fertilization is responsible for millions of American families.  With one ignorant and bigoted law Alabama Republicans declare their Christian God has spoken and the Corporate Media could not wait to hear what Trump supporters and psychotic anti-abortion lunatics have to say, as they continue their proscribed role of softening Republican perfidy and oppression.

The story of this wrongful death lawsuit smells entirely fabricated, the person purposefully went into the clinic and opened a subzero cryogenic freezer, grabbed and "dropped" the test tubes containing fertilized ovum just happened to get in there and wasn't an employee but a "client/patient", but the aggrieved parents of the fertilized cells filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the clinic?  Bullshit.  I absolutely bet these people planned this.  And before you dismiss this as QAnon style conspiracy theory, remember the women who brought the gay website creator lawsuit which made it to the Unjust Supremacist Court hadn't be forced to make any gay websites.  The Republican Party has a long history of lying for Jesus in order to force their religious edicts into secular law.

And as proof this In Vitro Alabama Chief Justice is a bible thumping believer in the Seven Mountains Mandate which means god has empowered him to impose Christian Fascism on the rest of America and the world.  Republicans absolutely believe they have the power and the right to impose their burgeoning Theocracy onto the American people.  And before you go thinking Nikki Haley is a Sikh and a women so she doesn't hold these same beliefs,

Someone should ask Nikki Haley how many fertilized embryos Babies she destroyed in pursuit of her fertility treatments.

We now sit on the precipice of the end of the United States as a secular Democratic Republic.  It's absolutely up to white women if they want to further along their subjugation and shackle themselves as living incubators unable to move about the country freely and unable to make medical decisions for themselves.

How long until this fertilized embryos are fully human persons ruling leads to the argument that the ovum have a Right-to-Implantation due to their inherent Right-to-Life?  Again with everything we are dealing with, such a scenario will be dismissed as too fantastical by our bought and deceitful Corporate Media, then when the legislation is in discussion, the media will sagely assure people 'Don't worry this is unlikely to pass and anyway Republicans would never take that step because <insert reasons here>', until poof it's enacted into Law in Republican states and Republicans nationwide concoct a case to go before the Supreme Sinister Six and voila it's Law.

Again the Republican method of governance is simple and brutal;  1) they pass all the evil oppressive shit they can, then 2) they and their rightwing media allies demonize the shit out of Democrats and spread sensationalist racist and bigoted propaganda, [2A) the Corporate Media dutifully picks up the rightwing stories since it's news], 3) they rely on their White voters to carry them to power.

Republicans learned long ago they don't pay a price for the inhuman and inhumane laws they enact.  But, the hope, which is fortunately supported by several elections, is the destruction of Roe by the Unjust Supreme Court has cost Republicans and will mean their defeat in 2024.

So, I hope you are helping to defeat every Republican you can in the 2024 elections, because by 2025, if they're in power, Republicans will be rounding-up thousands of people.

Women have no rights Republicans are bound to respect.

The Abortion exception for the Life of the Mother was always a sham.  An absolute lie to deflect criticism.  It was great theater for Republicans to claim, See! See!  See! If the dirty slut actually needs medical care she can get it!  If the health of the mother was truly at stake, instead of that dirty slut having so much sex she just wants to a post-birth abortion cause she's a WHORE, then she can still get a medical procedure!  This was always a hollow promise but, then Republicans have gotten so comfortable with lying and so confident that their lies will be massaged into truth by their pliant media allies that they had no fear journalists would say they were lying. 

It was lie to convince and dupe normies and deceive those Media members who wish to be deceived that Republicans are the real moderates on Abortion unlike those Evil Democrats who murder live-born babies.  And now Donald John Traitor Trump who has bragged repeatedly in rallies across the Nation that he destroyed Roe v. Wade has pivoted to he's the moderate on Abortion.  But, because the Media is absolutely beholden to making Republican lies palatable to Americans they will simply cover Republicans lies as a BothSides disagree.

I should make it clear that it's not all just smoke & mirrors to delude Americans, there is a large segment of this country who absolutely believe women who get abortions are murderers and deserve to be arrested.  They also believe that anyone who provides assistance; be that the doctor performing the procedure, the hospital where it occurred, the company which manufactures devices, the taxi driver who provides transport, also deserve to be arrested.  What has always been clear when it comes to abortion is Republicans absolutely seek to place people under their bigoted control.

There are apparently still a large number of conservative Women who don't believe elected Republicans will treat them as walking baby incubators with little to no rights under Law, recall the US Constitution doesn't mention women and doesn't prohibit discrimination against women.  I can't say they are in for an awakening because they simply believe their position in the Patriarchy will spare them and will thus continue to vote for Republicans.

Right now we have a grossly tuned Police State but, put Stephen Miller and Kash Patel and Ken Paxton in charge and they will readily fine-tune it to track, corral and arrest every abortion-seeking slut, every abortionist, every abortion conspirator, everyone who provides materials, every manufacturer, and anyone else they deem to be guilty.  Republicans will use the Awesome power of the State, and the many facets of government intrusion to monitor, document, arrest, prosecute, and enslave Women and anyone tangentially associated with abortion.

For instance, using the precedent of DUI checkpoints and seatbelt enforcement zones, Republicans in many States will forcibly pull women from cars and administer roadside transvaginal exams and pregnancy tests.

State Police v. Sitz, 496 U.S 444 (1990) with the Supreme Court ruled that these sobriety checkpoints were in accordance with the Fourth Amendment in terms of reasonable search and seizure.

Freedom of Movement and 4th Amedment protections won't apply because of the human the dirty slut is illegally transporting.  Suspect Women will be arrested and incarcerated in a Stephen Miller Concentration Camp until she gives birth, the vehicle will be towed and impounded (Ka-Ching!), the driver and any other occupants will be taken into custody, photographed and fingerprinted, all this will be made public knowledge (it is a government action after all) and be subject to lawsuits from improperly named groups like the Susan B. Anthony Women's Rights Foundation or Thomas More Dead Women Society.

24/7 Surveillance is Freedom 

Additionally, a lot of people are unaware of all the tools the Republicans can not wait to unleash on Abortionists. The Flock Camera system will be utilized to track the movements of known and unidentified abortion conspirators.  Like all things in the creeping Police State, the big splash page for Flock is "Eliminate Crime in Your Community", because the non-stop Media sensationalist coverage of CRIME! has made white people insane and as conservatives always warn made them trade their Liberty for the semblance of Security.

And thus Republicans will simply re-task The Flock Camera System to build the database they need to round-up and incarcerate the Abortionists.

And in States that still allow abortion we will find Rightwing sicko Judges from Republican areas issuing injunctions, stays, and Nationwide arrest warrants to enforce their beliefs across state line to stop women from getting their medical care.

The threat of lawsuits will curtail American corporations from making and shipping abortion related supplies.  The threat of arrest has already curtailed Hospitals and Doctors from providing care.

And failing all these "legal methods" roving gangs of rightwing panty-sniffing perverts will conduct low intensity terrorist attacks on facilities, individuals, and their homes.  These, of course, won't be investigated by the local or state police because you don't investigate your family, friends, or yourself. 

And, this post is already too long because I haven't gotten to Missouri Republicans declaring their intent to charge women with murder or the effort by rightwing groups to use the 1873 Comstock Act to create a National Ban on Abortion or the multiple Republican state efforts to eliminate birth control and dissolve no-fault divorce.  Republicans hate Women and seek to enslave them because... that... is... what... MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN means.

But, fret not the Corporate Media is furiously trying to figure out what message will allow Republicans to weather this current outrage from these little ladies and help Republicans get elected in 24!  Expect a lot of white women to vote Republican and happily reintroduce Slavery to America.

Workforce: The Dignity of Work

The Republicans are back at the only thing they care about; the Optics of Owning the Libs. To that effect the Republicans have renamed the Education & Labor House Committee the "Education & Workforce" 

"Labor” is an antiquated term that excludes individuals who contribute to the American workforce but aren’t classified as conventional employees. “Labor” also carries a negative connotation that ignores the dignity of work; the term is something out of a Marxist textbook that fails to capture the accomplishments of the full spectrum of the American workforce.

The Left prefers the term labor because it creates a sense of enmity between employees and employers which union bosses and left-wing activists seek to stoke for political gain. This word also fails to capture how deeply intertwined workers and job creators are in their contributions to our economy.

Watch out! When Republicans begin waxing poetic about the dignity of work what they are fondly recalling is Slavery.  The Republican Party is fully invested in destroying Unions, workplace safety, weekends, paid-sick leave, and every other 20th century progressive gain for workers in America. 

That means the Pleasure of Working For Us for Free style Labor, I mean, "Workforce".  But, while Republicans are masters at pounding home their propaganda (or pummeling perhaps) they are also lazy af and simply rely on the agitprop terms they've spent years repeating.  A Marxist Textbook!  Union Thugs!  "Job Creators"!  We haven't heard Republicans lavish praise on the Job Creators since they tried to claim President Obama's You Didn't Build That was an unprecedented scandal and the biggest affront to Capitalists since the abolition of slavery.

Because that's what Republicans yearn to bring back to the United States.  The Dignity of Work is a time when people worked themselves from childhood to an early grave and don't have free time to agitate for woke social justice.  Make America Great Again as it were, by shackling the American worker into perpetual corporate bondage and eternal wage slavery.

It should always be remembered Education & Labor Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC), is a vile bigot and ghoul, who like all vicious old Republicans hates the LGBTQ community and is more than willing to gaslight and excuse the mistreatment and murder of minorities,

The worst thing you can do in America is accurately describe the actions and motivations of Republicans.  It's the Corporate Media's job to uncritically repeat all the Republicans fact-free claims and false assertions while throwing their hands up and saying there is no way to know if Republicans are telling the truth or not.

Ron DeSantis is a human trafficking kidnapper.  I certainly hope the investigation and possible class action lawsuit uncovers and makes Ron DeSlavery subject to consequences for his actions but, Republicans have realized that by constantly committing crimes and rushing headlong into scandal after scandal they can overwhelm the justice system and the media into letting them get away with it.  Additionally, rightwing media will never punish a Republican for being a bigot or criminal.  Indeed the entire rightwing media apparatus came into existence to succor, obfuscate, and defend Republican perfidy.

DeSantis, of course, barely won his Governorship even though he employed overt racism and has since run rampant through the state like a cliched meth-addled Florida Man.  Killing the elderly, attacking education, empowering bigots, demonizing LGBTQ person, and using Veterans as cudgels to disenfranchise teachers.

This is all designed to endear DeSantis to rightwingers across the USA who yearn to put this slightly smarter Trump into Office so he can do to the Nation what he's done to Florida.  So, it should come as no surprise Ron DeSlavery would fund a scheme to dupe Asylum seekers and migrants to round-up and fly them to Martha's Vineyard and film the whole thing thinking he was going to epically #OwntheLibs. 

DeSantis is a vile excuse for a human and the quintessential Republican Governor; portly, pudgy, pouty, pretentious, petulant, putrid, a perfect poltroon.

Listen to this disjointed and falsehood filled press conference gave trumpeting his kidnapping scheme.  There's so much criminality and inhumanity with this story and the flop sweat, backpedaling, lying, attempts at distraction, and varying rationales for the kidnapping going on that multiple Republicans from Ted Cruz to Marco Rubio (beneficiaries of asylum themselves but, willing to pull the ladder up so others can't benefit) are flooding Faux News and elsewhere in the rightwing hermetically sealed bubble with shit so white conservative bigots can continue to think this wasn't illegal and inhumane.

But, while every reason Republicans proffer is a lie or fabrication what is true is conservatives throughout social media and the Nation acted as thought this totally Owned those Libs!  Hard!  The truth doesn't matter to rightwing drones at all.  Conservative talking heads and on-line propagandists have created a hermetically sealed bubble in which conservatives can hear all the lies they want and it totally confirms their beliefs.  Facts on the ground don't matter. 

These type of illegal actions by elected Republicans, and associated low-level terrorism by rightwing Paramilitary groups are going to increase from now on because conservatives are fully-fascist now but, lack the courage to engage in open warfare with the government because they hope to win enough statehouses in 2022 so they can subvert the federal government in 2024 and then use the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary to make their Fascist Fundamentalist Nation a legal reality.

If these stunts are so awesome I wonder why we aren't hearing from the people who are transporting the kidnapped migrants to liberal cities?  Certainly, it's important to locate the paid Firm who conducted DeSantis Martha's Vineyard scheme.  But, why aren't we hearing from the pilots?  Why aren't they being given James O'Keefe style interviews of Faux News?  Why aren't we reading their 1000 word sub stack missives, I flew that plane and I loved it.  Maybe, because the Just Following Orders defense is all they've got right now.

Last September DeSlavery enacted several immigration executive orders, including one which,

banned Florida agencies from providing assistance in transporting to the state migrants apprehended at the southwest border, who don't have legal status in the country.

So, it's clear DeSantis is using federal and state tax payer dollars to effect this kidnapping scheme.  This is of course in line with privatization efforts in which Republicans steal money from the American people and funnel it to their friends and allies just like Brett Favre and former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant.

It's going to come out that like all Republicans DeSantis is using the power of government to pilfer public money but, by the time anyone investigates or releases this report DeSantis expects to be in the White House.  The Intercept discovered the airline Vetrol received the public money from DeSantis after they had contributed mightily to his campaign, a clear kick-back scheme Republicans always use. 

Binders Full of Women, Missouri Edition

So, the State of Missouri has been tracking the menustral cycles of Planned Parenthood patients. Republican rapist, felon and sex slavery afficiando Governor Eric Greitens nominated "Doctor" Randall Williams to the role of Missouri State Health Director, a role Williams had in North Carolina.   Williams used the power of his Government position to dictate all women must undergo an invasive, medically unnecessary pelvic exam 3 days prior to a surgical abortion and now has created a spreadsheet of women in Missouri tracking their dates of medical procedures and menstural cycles. No doubt Eric Greitens would have used this data to kidnap some more Missouri women but, unfortunately Greitens resigned as Governor and rejoined the Navy.

In a normal functioning Nation, this would be a gross violation in all sense of the word, but when you realize this fits the goals of the Republican Party and the conservative movement it makes sense. Everyday Republicans inch closer to creating the Republic of Gilead and recreating the Slave State of the Idealogical Forefathers. Conservatives believe government exists to protect them, and bind their enemies. One of the dumbest myths about conservatives the media continues to propagate is conservatives want a small government when conservatives do not. They want a targeted government. And whom do they wish to target? The Non-#Maga.

Conservatives need lists of the enemies. Breitbart (warning links to Breitbart), 4Chan and the other Toxic Rightwing Internet groups love making "tags"; i.e. lists of the enemy; Liberals, minorities, teachers, feminists, LGBTQ, immigrants. Because those lists will be used by conservatives, as soon as they re-elect Traitor Trump in 2020, to round-up, re-enslave and exterminate millions of Americans.

Hence, when a Republican is asked by an American about the Minimum Wage, the GOPers response should not be a surprise, of course he's against raising it.

Here's the latest from Florida where Republican Congressman Dennis Ross was asked,

Would you support the Obama act of raising the federal minimum wage? 

Congressman Ross - No. [...] I think it would do more harm to our economy than anything. You work at Arby’s, the cost of products, the cost of services are going to go up. [...] If we are going to make it a living wage, who’s going to pay for it? Who’s going to pay for it?  

During the give and take, Ross was then asked,

I want to know, would you take a walk in my shoes? Lay your tie and your suit down, just for a day, 24 hours, and take a walk in my shoes. The people that I work with, we’re keeping the economy floating and going in the cycle. But the people that hire, they’re just paying money, just throwing money. But I’m actually working every day. So why wouldn’t you support it?

Congressman Ross - Because it’s not right. Economically, it’s not right. It does more harm to our economy.

Republicans are elected and compensated handsomely to crush Labor, abolish Unions and destroy the Social Safety Net. When Ross says "it's not right economically" he means it's not right for Job Creators.

The "jobs" metric and Job Creator hosannas are a massively dishonest way of discussing the American Economy until one understands the Prism in which Republicans view the Economy and the American Worker. The American Worker is viewed as an unnecessarily expensive cost of business.

A Job Creator could have set aside $20 per hour in wages to hire workers. So, he could create 1 job at his company at $20/hr or 2 jobs at $10/hr. But, now imagine if he had the "freedom" to pay less than the minimum wage? Why he could create 5 blessed jobs at $4/hr! And he could create an Infinite number of jobs if he was able to pay $0/hr. The Ultimate Job Creator!

Of course, what I am describing is Slavery. But, that is precisely what the Republican Party has been tasked by their Plutocratic Overlords with recreating; the Ideal America, one with massive fortunes built upon thousands of years of free labor.

But, the desire to America into a Neo-Feudal Wage Slavery doesn't just exist amongst the Upper-Echelons of the Right-Wing, its' permeated all the way down to the dregs of Conservatism.

While Smith spoke, conservative Scott Terry, flanked by his compatriot Matthew Heimbach festooned in a Confederate-flag T-Shirt, rose to complain the Republican Party was alienating, "young Southern white males" and minorities were "systematically disenfranchising” him and whites. Smith tried to interject and when Smith spoke of Frederick Douglass forgiving his former slave masters Terry scoffed, "For giving him shelter? And food?"

Mighty Joe Biden's observation from the last Presidential election still holds true, the Republican Party's Grand Design is to "to put y'all back in chains."

How the battle over Overtime, Minimum Wage, Obamacare, Paul Ryan's wistful longings for Slavery illustrate the Republican Plan to Oppress Americans

President Obama stated this week, he intends to use his Executive Authority to direct the Labor Department to revamp its regulations to require overtime pay for several million additional fast-food managers, loan officers, computer technicians and others whom many businesses currently classify as executive or professional employees to avoid paying them overtime, according to White House officials briefed on the announcement.

Everyone who works knows the day upper management comes to you and says we'd like to put you on the management ladder and make your position salaried is the day you start doing double the work for the same amount of pay. One way Corporations have slashed the income of their employees is by engaging in a duplicitous game of Salaried vs. Hourly Wage workers. Salaried workers can be compelled, coerced, cajoled and cornered into working 60, 70, 80 or more hours a week, without being compensated for the extra work they are doing. And why would any company hire another employee when they cam get you to Work for Free...

The Modern Republican Party has one purpose; to grind down 99% of Americans into unbreakable poverty under the control of Undying Corporate People. The Republican Party has undertaken a journey to re-enslave the American People.

Everything Republicans do is to bring about a Ultra-Reactionary Neo-Feudalist Slave State, whether they are aware of it or not, in which the Middle Class is stripped of their wealth, health and future, the Working Class and Poor is made to know that Government will never help them and an Era of Unbreakable Corporate Bondage is enacted.

Anything which ameliorates this condition is anathema to them and must be fought eternally, no matter the cost.

Obamacare, flawed and sabotaged by Republican villains and Democratic quislings, nonetheless has helped millions and placed the Nation towards modern healthcare coverage.

Which is precisely why the Republican Party and their Plutocratic Masters has engaged in the despicable campaign of deceit and villainy to destroy it.

With the collapse of all their Obamacare Horror stories, like Bette from Cathy McMorris-Rodgers SOTU response, the Koch Brothers financied Americans for Prosperity rolled out Julie Boonstra a cancer sufferer. Boonstra explicitly stated Obamacare and her Representative Gary Peters was going to kill her by making her Leukemia medicine unaffordable. Julie Boonstra was paying $13,200 a year plus non-covered co-pays, prescription drugs and other out-of-pocket expenses.

When Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan crunched the numbers for Julie Boonstra's new plan adding up to $11,900 including the previously uncovered put-of-pocket expenses Boonstra said the idea that it would be cheaper, "can’t be true. I personally do not believe that."

Julie Boonstra and American Conservatives illustrate is the Pedagogy of the Oppressed. Conservatives have sought or allowed themselves to become "Sub-oppressors",

Some GOPers appear to be just ignorant of their Party's true goals, like Deb Sanderson of Maine who thinks taking healthcare away from people "maybe it will incentivize some folks" to pick up extra work and earn more money.

They nonetheless follow along while the evil, vindictive villains of the Republican Party, like Paul Ryan, who after hiding with his tail tucked following his butt-whopping by Mighty Joe Biden and President Obama, has roared back to the forefront of his vicious racist Party,

What Paul Ryan is alluding to is his and the Republican Party earnest desire a return to the America of the Idyllic Days of 19th century. To put "Y'all back in Chains."

Reduce the minimum wage, allow business owners the ability to dictate what you can and can not purchase with your salary, stealing your pension, limiting you medical care options, ensuring businesses need not compensate you for hours of labor; Republicans have steadily been moving the Nation towards Slavery. 

While the Upper Echelons of the Republican Party are on par with members of the Plutocracy, the evil, vicious Oppressors, the rank and file conservative and Republican Party member is someone who has internalized the thinking of his controller and is as oppressed as those whom they seek to shackle with the chains of slavery.

True Freedom cannot come from a Top-Down system. The Democratic Party despite being exponetianlly better than the Republican Party is not the savior. A Duke Energy Toxic Spill threatens the lives of thousands of Americans

A corporation would never, ever do anything wrong, immoral or illegal just to boost profits because of the principle of enlightened self interest they axiomatically look out for the welfare of consumers.

Once again we have a toxic spill a magnitude which if attributed to Tear-A-Wrists would necessitate a full on invasion of an unconnected oil-rich Nation and the Impeachment of President Obama

Yet because it's due to the rampant negligence of a "Romney Person" (i.e. a Corporation) no punishment will occur and no prison time will ever be served.

Late Monday Feb. 03, Duke Energy dumped 82,000 tons of coal ash and 27 million gallons of contaminated water into the Dan River in North Carolina. Like petcoke, coal ash is a toxic mixture of heavy metals and corrosive poisons, but in this case the by-products of coal-fired power plants. (Read the follow-up Ecowatch articles about the levels of Arsenic in the Dan River.)

Duke Energy, of course, waited more than a day to alert the authorities because Fuck the EPA and all regulations!

The town of Danville, VA draws drinking water just 6 miles downstream from the site of the spill.

Duke Energy has been spewing forth the coal sludge and flouting regulations from all its' 14 coal fired power plants for years because Fuck the EPA and all regulations! The site of the Dan River spill has been closed since 2012 but the toxic retention pond hadn't been properly disposed off and even basic maintenance has obviously been neglected. But, it's North Carolina Duke runs the State.

So, once again we are faced with a Corporate Monstrosity which could not care less about people in North Carolina because fuck the poor and Fuck the EPA and all regulations! No Corporation will ever self-regulate. 

Enlightened Self Interest is a myth like the invisible hand and free markets. It has never existed and will never exist but, it's tool to keep people voting themselves into bondage while Corporations exert more and more control over Government until the day when Americans awake to find themselves re-enslaved and it's only too ironic that Duke Energy whose entire existence and fortune were built from Slave Labor will once more be a Slave Master.

Republican Art Laffer (of the Laffer Curve Fame) Calls for a Return to Slavery

"He said in the first hundred days, he's going to let the big banks write their own rules — unchain Wall Street. They're going to put y'all back in chains." - Mighty Joe Biden correctly diagnosed the Paul Ryan and the Republican Party efforts to reintroduce Slavery to the US.

Republicans were super mad at VP Biden during the run-up to the 2012 election because Mighty Joe never gave them the cover they've come to expect from Democrats. The Republican Party is wholly owned by the Plutocracy. As such they care only for what Corporations and the Super Rich want; and what they want is the elimination of the Middle Class, the institution of Wage Slavery and a Neo-Feudalist Corporate Controlled State in which workers are forever shackled in the chains of Corporate Bondage.

"The minimum wage makes no sense whatsoever to me,” former Reagan economist Art Laffer told Faux News host Jenna Lee. “Honestly it’s just the teenage — Black Teenage Unemployment Act. And this is the very group that we need to have jobs, not be put out of work because of a minimum wage. So, I’m very much in favor of getting rid of the minimum wage."

Art Laffer, is famous for popularizing a curve which purportedly showed a massive reduction in tax rates would create more tax wealth for government, and thus led to the creation of Piss Down Your Back and tell you it's Raining Reaganomics. Of course, the last 30+ years of Reaganomics in combination with other Ultra-Reactionary Right-Wing policies have utterly shattered the middle class, created an income inequality not seen since the Gilded Age and ended the belief in the American Dream; which it was designed to do.

Laffer, like most entitled rich white conservatives of his era, represents everything the Republican Party is supposedly against. Laffer spent the sixties attending Yale and Stanford (not in the military, probably because like Tom Delay too many minorities had signed up and taken his spot) and then spent the seventies teaching at Pepperdine and USC before joining Reagan's cabinet. So Laffer has never had a real job so he doesn't know how actual businesses operate.

Now, why would Laffer highlight Black Teenagers in his rant against the Minimum Wage? Because like all modern conservatives he's either a bigot or enjoys playing to the racists. Laffer is proposing that black teenagers work for whatever Business wants to pay with the wealth of their labor being siphoned off for their Owners

Laffer wants a return to the idyllic days of America's Founding in which Owners paid their workers nothing and massive wealth was accumulated. Because we would have 100% employment if we allowed Corporations to pay people nothing; which is exactly what Corporations want to do and what Republicans try to accomplish while in office.

Republicans want Slavery returned to America.

CPAC 2013: Unchaining the Inner Racist in Every Conservative

Republicans continue to be racist assholes. And why not? Besides Grifters and Plutocrats the only other groups which aligns with conservative "thinking" are bigots and racists.

Right-Wing Pigs went whole hog racist during a CPAC 2013 panel entitled: Trump the Race Card: Are You Sick And Tired Of Being Called A Racist When You Know You’re Not One?

A spokesman for the Frederick Douglass Republicans, K. Carl Smith, was brought into CPAC  to allow Right-Wingers to engage in their favorite pastime of bad faith denialism of their rampant bigotry.

While Smith spoke, Scott Terry while flanked by his Confederate-flag festooned compatriot Matthew Heimbach, rose to complain the Republican Party was alienating, "young Southern white males" and the minorities were "systematically disenfranchising” him and whites. He then scoffed when Smith spoke of Frederick Douglass forgiving his former slave masters, "For giving him shelter? And food?"

Conservatives believe that Slavery was Good because it exposed Africans and their descendants to America. And experiencing American Exceptional ism is worth anything, or so those who've benefited from slavery and continue to count White Privilege as the natural state of America.

When the lone black woman in attendance, objected to the idea that Slavery was great, the entitled white crowd shouted her down and Smith declared her "intentionally disruptive and coercive". The Tea Party Racists blamed the entire episode on her temerity.

But, remember conservatives know they're not racists. Conservatives stand in principled opposition to President Obama; Race has nothing to do with it!

Of course, one need not look further than CPAC last year. Remember those Awesome White "Rappers" Steven Crowder* and Chris Loesch at CPAC 2012? When their Mr. America "song" reached it's apex they yelled Ni-[clang], pretending they we're saying “knickers.”

During the run-up to the 2012 election, Rick Santorum told Iowa Republicans,

"I don't want to make blahh [black] people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money; I want to give them the opportunity to go out and earn the money."

Of course, it doesn't matter that 9% of the those on food stamps in Iowa are black because the truth is conservatives know they're not racist!

Representative Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) who called the massive $2,000,000,000,000+ Iraq War Swindle "Just and Noble" is peeved about that darn steak-eating Obama wanting to give hard-working rich white people's money to Santorum Blahhh people,

"We can't keep increasing taxes every three months just because Barack Obama wants more welfare spending."

Sometimes conservatives use coded-language instead of saying "knee grow" or "knickers". Mitt Romney's campaign spoke of Obama not understand Our shared history with England,

“We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage. The White House didn’t fully appreciate the shared history we have.”

John Sununu pouted throughout 2012 he wished, "this President [Obama] would learn how to be an American." Sununu must have felt it was hard for Obama to understand how to be an American since he's "lazy" and "disengaged".

Newt Gingrich, that expansive southern gentleman who's been "earning" tax-payer money for 35 years, picked up when Sununu wore himself out from working so hard,

“I’m assuming that there’s some rhythm to Barack Obama that the rest of us don’t understand. Whether he needs large amounts of rest, whether he needs to go play basketball for a while or watch ESPN..." 

But, the svelte Roger Ailes really pointed out Obama's laziness, 

“Obama’s the one who never worked a day in his life. He never earned a penny that wasn’t public money. How many fundraisers does he attend every week? How often does he play basketball and golf? I wish I had that kind of time. He’s lazy, but the media won’t report that.”

State Representative Kris Crawford a Republican from Florence, South Carolina knows what the GOP needs to do,

“The politics are going to overwhelm the policy. It is good politics to oppose the black guy in the White House right now, especially for the Republican Party.”

Of course, in South Carolina Republicans don't just hate President Obama but all black people including the dead. Todd Kincannon, the former executive director for the South Carolina Republicans, claimed the murdered Trayvon Martin would have grown up to be a gay prostitute for drug money. What he wrote was so offensive I'm not going to re-write it here.

There are so many more incidents originating top-down from Republican Leadership but also bubbling up from the diseased recesses of the conservative id.

So, it’s no wonder Right-Wing White Racists think they are the most oppressed people ever. They keep listening to their leaders who tell them they are.

*- Steve Crowder got punched in the head while covering Union protests in Michigan. Well, the man who punched him is not going to be charged because, surprise, surprise once full non-Faux video footage of the incident was reviewed it was clear the protestor was defending himself.

Don't all these Negligent Discharges, Gun Homicides, and Kidnappings make you feel safer?

Since the NRA endorsed Newton CT Massacre 1600* Americans have been slaughtered by Guns. It's unclear at this time if any of the dead were listed among the 506 organizations, public officals, celebrities and American citizens on the NRA's "Enemies List".

I disagree Paul. The NRA isn't insane, they simply have no compunctions or scruples about keeping the spigot of money flowing to the Firearms Industry and rivers of innocent blood flowing in the streets.

So, stories like the 4 people shot, with 3 killed (2 of them children) in Denver today won't dissuade Wayne LaPierre from his Holey Mission.

Nor will any of these recent events:

• In Eugene, Oregon, a totally responsible Open Carry Gun Nut negligently popped off a round, while his piece was strapped in his leg holster, and shot himself at an Internet cafe.
• A Conservative Domestic Terrorist, Jimmy Lee Dykes murdered a bus driver and kidnapped a 6 year old, holding the boy hostage for 8 days in his underground bunker, until a breach and entry killed Dykes.  
• Chris Kyle, a former Navy SEAL known for claiming a record number of sniper killings in Iraq was one of two men shot dead at a Texas gun range, allegedly at the hands of a fellow military veteran, officials say. Kyle, the author of the best-selling American Sniper, and Chad Littlefield, also a veteran, were gunned down Saturday afternoon on the grounds of the expansive Rough Creek Lodge and Resort in Glen Rose, Texas, southwest of Fort Worth, law enforcement officials said.
• The unnamed "security officer" hired to protect students, who negligently left his gun unattended in a Lapeer County, Michigan charter school student restroom "for a few moments", will not lose his job keeping children "safe".
• In Calveras County California, former airline captain Philip Marshall, 54, killed his son Alex, 17, and daughter Macaila, 14, each with a single bullet to the head, as they slept under blankets on the living room couch. He then pointed the gun at his head and committed suicide.
• A Cleburne, Texas man who negligently shot his daughter Feb 1st, while cleaning and loading his gun, will not face charges.

Do any of these incidents make you feel safer?

Conservative Domestic Terrorists have hopped on the NRA band-wagon that Obama and his children are out-of-touch elitists for having armed security, the Secret Service, around them 24/7 and demand that every red-blooded American be afforded the same rights. (Although Wayne LaPierre is, of course, not an out-of-touch elitist for having armed security.)

And I agree. In order to purchase firearms, every American must go through the same background investigation, psychological examinations, and weapons-handling training that the Secret Service goes through. Any flags which would disqualify one from being an Secret Service Agent will disqualify the person from owning guns.

In 2010, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2,694 children and teens in the United States died because of a firearm. Another 15,578 children and teens were injured.

We are not a Free Nation. We, the People are being held hostage to the whims of murderous right-wing terrorists and criminal gangs. The massive influx of firearms into society did not make us safer. It hasn't even presented the illusion of safety.

Last weekend, thousands of people, many holding signs with names of gun violence victims and messages such as "Ban Assault Weapons Now"  and "Stop the NRA" joined a rally for gun control on Saturday, marching from the Capitol to the Washington Monument.

Of course, sane rational Americans, alliteratively called Gun Grabbers, outnumber the Gun Nuts by the Millions but the Gun Crazies are loud and violent.

The Internet Gun Crazies will not be bargained with nor dissuaded. No evidence, no number of dead children, no facts about the proliferation of guns and the causal link to gun homicide and gun violence will every move them. Debate them if you wish, but, it's best to ignore the Gun Nutters and Trolls. However, if, as is their wont, they send you veiled or unveiled threats report them to Law Enforcement.

The Second Amendment was designed by the Founders to allow Slave Owners to oppress and kill their property and put down Slave revolts.

Today, Slavery is alive and well. The American people are held in bondage to the Gun Industry. The chief apologist and lobbyist is the NRA. The NRA methodology has been to cultivate a state of panic and paranoia that without a gun you're going to get robbed, raped and killed in America. There's also the Gun Industry taunt that without a big gun you aren't a man.

The fact is the proliferation of guns is driving homicide, deaths and injuries in this country. We are awash in firearms. 300,000,000 at least.

The NRA, Gun Nuts, and the Gun Manufacturers especially, don't want any discussion of guns. Their Republican stooges have blocked the CDC from studying gun violence because you can't let the public know how many lives are destroyed by guns.

Gun Nuts also get mad when anyone points out that other Gun Crazies are broadcasting their intent to murder Americans with their guns. Or when a Murderer guns down an innocent person who accidentally and innocently drove onto his driveway because the NRA and Faux News have told the Gun Nuts that every brown skinned person is a potential terrorist.

One of the key flaws in NRA and Gun Crazies "thinking" is that the conclusion is that because of the 2nd Amendment we can have no restrictions or limitations on weapon ownership. If a 14 year old wants bring a piece to school to "protect himself" from bullies. I don't see an age limit in the 2nd Amendment.

If Gayle Trotter wants to argue before the US Senate that AR-15's aren't enough firepower to take on the 3-6 hardened criminals who are attacking mothers everywhere in the United States and wants to add a Colt M203 to the weapon for launching 40mm grenades then what part of a "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED??!?!??!??" don't you Gun Grabbers understand?

That interpretation of the 2nd Amendment is Not Rational nor Constitutional. Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Warren Burger, a conservative appointed to Chief Justice by Richard Nixon, said of  the idea that the second amendment confers an individuals right to own a gun, 

"the second amendment has been the subject of one of the greatest pieces of fraud, I repeat the word fraud, ever perpetrated on the American public by an interest group in my lifetime."

Even the two most recent SCOTUS cases of McDonald v. Chicago and District of Columbia v. Heller included majority decisions which stated the Right-to-Bear-Arms is not unlimited.

Nonetheless, the way to get rid of Guns is to go after the Gun Makers and the Gun Industry. They have flooded the nation with 300,000,000 weapons. Until we stem the flow of weapons all of our efforts will be the equivalent of digging out from an avalanche.

We need to treat them as we would Heroin producers and Drug Lords. The Gun Industry is a Drug Cartel and their product is having a worse impact on Society than Heroin.

But, make no mistake the NRA's arguments aren't the Protection from Tyranny bullshit spewed by the racist chicken hawk cowards who want to murder blacks, "leftists" and everyone they perceive to have taken their country from them.

Wayne LaPierre's two main proposals to curb gun violence were the most intrusive Big Government idea since Prohibition. LaPierre wants a Federal Database documenting every possible American's medical problems and want armed Government Workers patrolling every School in the Nation.

Of course, the Gun Crazies ignore this because the NRA has so duped them that they would support the biggest tyrannical over-reach of Government because Right-Wingers love Slavery..

But, while it makes little sense to go after law-abiding Gun Owners because we shouldn't, proliferation makes any sort of Weapon confiscation impossible. Of course, every time there's another Gun Massacre, get Republicans on record defending the right of the Murderer to have his weapons. 

Such as when the Republicans defended the rights of Criminals and those on the FBI's Terrorist Watch List to buy as many weapons as they want and not be burdened with those pesky background checks.

So, by focusing on Gun Makers we can force Republicans to reveal that they and the NRA don't care about Americans or the Constitution and are owned by the Gun Industry while merely interested in keeping the flow of money to the coffers of the Gun Industry. Republicans don't represent the United States. They are the Party of the Old South Risen Again.

As such, the Republicans have taken to looking back to the Constitution. Not the US Constitution but the Confederate States of America version;

Language promoting "the general welfare" was omitted, while the right to own slaves was explicitly guaranteed although foreign slave trade was forbidden). 

To guarantee Southerners their much-desired states' rights, the federal government had no authority to levy protective tariffs, make internal improvements, or overrule state court decisions, while states had the right to sustain their own armies and enter into separate agreements with one another, and were given greater power in amending the constitution.

Nullification and State's Rights are vogue for Right-Wingers once more.

From the Mississippi governor to lawmakers in Texas, Missouri and Wyoming, even local sheriffs in Oregon and Kentucky, many of those who oppose the president's proposal believe it is within their legal right to not only refuse to enforce federal legislation, but to make it a crime for a federal agent to try and enforce the law in their states.

Senator Chuck Grassley and Undead Ann Coulter both have pushed racist bullshit that conforms to the bullshit prejudices of Right-Wing Dupes, Tea Party Terrorists and Gun Crazies by declaring gun violence is "black violence on blacks". Because the Republicans are the Party of Bigots and Racists.

But, while I am for a strict Originalist Interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, Gun Nuts can have as many muzzle loading Blunderbusses and cutlasses as they desire, We, the People have to deal with the real world problems caused by the proliferation of firearms.

So, start by removing the indemnity George W(orst President Ever) Bush and the Republicans granted Gun Manufacturers and Sellers have against law suits. Every family destroyed gun should embark on a class-action lawsuit against the Gun Maker. 

Anytime a gun is used in the commission of a crime the Manufacturer, Seller and Buyer should be potentially liable. And if those companies are put out of business they have only themselves to blame.

Gun makers and sellers enjoy the profits of selling weapons make them responsible for the carnage that flows from their trade, until they begin to police the proliferation of their product.

112 killed in Garment Factory Fire: A Preview of what's Coming Back to America

101 years ago in New York City 146 workers, mainly teenage girls, were burned and asphyxiated to death or leapt to their death to avoid the flames from the 10-story Triangle Shirtwaist Factory. The owners in the Triangle Shirtwaist factory who had ordered the doors chained and exits locked, both survived the fire.

In Savar Bangladesh, 112 workers in a Garment Factory were burned to death in 2012. Investigators stated many workers were trapped in the eight-story building, which lacked emergency exits.

What's Past is Prologue...

It matters little if in 100 years time the "bad companies" are forced into bankruptcy while the "good companies" remain. What matters and what should always be paramount are people. Because of the incessant Union-bashing and Right-Wing efforts to deregulate and not enforce laws on Corporations, people are dying and massive damage is being wrought upon the Nation and Planet today.

Yesterday, on Meet The Press, Carly Fiorina showed the Republican push to destroy Unions is never-ending, “[I]t is not fair that public employee union pensions and benefits are so rich..."

Fiorina earned a $42,000,000 Golden Parachute for her tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, which saw her eliminate the jobs of 18,000 American workers. She called her sending of American jobs overseas, "Right-Shoring". Already a millionaire, Carly Fiorina got around a $1200 bonus for all the Americans she 'Right-Shored' while at HP.

Republicans and their Rich Moneyed Masters hate that they can not treat American workers the same way they treat Bangladeshi workers, as disposable pawns.

But, Conservatives and Republicans don't care about the evil done by Corporations. Two workers for Black Elk energy Offshore LLC were killed, another is missing and three are seriously injured from an Oil Rig explosion in the Gulf. The Company was ordered to make immediate safety improvements to all Off-Shore Rigs.

Do you hear Faux News talking about this? No. Do you hear Right-Wing Toxic Radio talking about this? No. They are focused are trying to make their Benghazi Bullshit stick in the minds of their conservatives dupes and drones.

Michele Bachmann's Blemishes *Updated Turns out Bachmann doesn't have a Birth Certificate

In 2008, Michele Bachmann asked for the media to do an exhaustive investigation into every member of Congress. That spotlight has been shone upon her and her icky blemishes are coming to light. Bachmann has tried to cover-up her gross record but not even $4700 dollars of pancake makeup can obscure her blemishes. Sadly, what we've learned of Michele Bachmann is that she and her family are hypocritical big government welfare sucking, religiously insane christian fanatics who lack basic knowledge of America and even a basic sense of human decency.

Bachmann's family has received a Quarter of a Million dollars from the Federal Government over a period of 13 years, in so-called farm subsides. Bachmann's family can't survive in the Free Market so like lazy welfare queens they steal government welfare.

Marcus Bachmann used Medicare payments for the practice of laying upon of hands all over the bodies of young gay men and conducted seance pray-away-the-gay cures for homosexuality. Since 2006, Marcus Bachmann & Associates has received almost $30,000, according to Minnesota state records. The majority ($24K) came in the form of grants, funded mainly by the federal government, from the Minnesota State Department of Human Services.

Bachmann directly applied for and received a $417,000 Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac backed home loan in 2008. After benefiting Michele called for a dismantling of Fanne and Freddie.

It now makes sense why S&P also downgraded Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac since President Bachmann took a pledge to never raise the Debt Ceiling.

While flogging the Obama isn't smart he reads of a teleprompter joke, Bachmann pledged to never read from a Teleprompter and then immediately flubbed her line by calling herself President O'Bachmann.

Bachmann knows the Founding Fathers "worked tirelessly to end Slavery" at Lexington, Alabama and Concord, California. Even though, Bachmann knows Slavery was super duper better for Blacks when she signed a pledge to never allow Marriage equality which included a passage that, of course, black Slaves had better family life under slavery than today. (As an aside, this is a standard motif amongst conservatives that slaves had it better than blacks today along with the idea that liberals are the real racists because they won't tell black people to get a job like their industrious slave ancestors had.)

Bachmann is campaigning upon destroying the "job killing" EPA. And lo and behold Michele Bachmann has, in her capacity as Congresswoman, asked for money from the EPA. Oh, and remember that Failed Obama Stimulus? Well, on sixteen (16) ocassions Bachmann requested that failed Obama Stimulus money!

And even though President Obama is spending too much of the stuff Bachmann is very worried we one day might leave the dollar. And then there is the god stuff. Michele has said repeatedly god has called upon her to marry her husband, to run for state office, to run for Congress and now to run for the presidency. The voice in her head isn't god's it's is her own and it's the same one that allows her to confuse John Wayne and John Wayne Gacy.

Oh but, what power those eyes have over Tea Party folks! It doesn't matter how much Bachmann buffoonery is illuminated. Her rank hypocrisy is not an impediment and like most Tea Party folks I bet Bachmann doesn't even see a contradiction between her partaking of Government programs while she works tirelessly to destroy those very programs. Like most Teabaggers, Michele Bachmann, most likely believes she is a self-made superhero who has never used a government program.
