Ronald Reagan claimed for years he had fought in combat against the Nazis and told people, including Israel's Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir and famous Nazi Hunter Simon Wiesenthal, he had liberated Death Camps.  None of that was true as Ronnie Raygun and his All-Time Co-Champion Chickenhawk coward John Wayne specifically dodged serving overseas during World War II.

The joy of being a conservative is having No Memory.  So as we continue the kabuki dance of Republicans blaming all their failures on Democratic Administrations let us take a solemn moment to remember the day when Ronnie Raygun the biggest coward, most evil prick to ever sit in the White House, abandoned the Untied States Marine Corps.

No, this isn't a post about how Chicken Hawk Coward and Stolen Valor Liar Reagan claimed to have liberated Concentration Camps in Germany even though he never really served during World War 2.  Or how he let Ollie North take the blame for Raygun’s illegal Iran-Contra criminal conspiracy.  No, it's about how Ronnie Raygun was so addled and so out of touch that he specifically put Marines in harm's way and ordered them not to be able to defend themselves.

Today is the 40th Anniversary of the Beirut Marine Corps Baracks bombing.  There were Two separate truck bomb Terrorist Attacks in Beirut in 1983.  On April 18, 1983 the Beirut Embassy Car Bombing killed 17 Embassy personnel (and 46 Lebanese) and the follow on Truck Bombing attack 6 months later on October 23, 1983 at the US Barracks in Beirut killed 241 Marines, Soldiers and Sailors. The most despicable thing is the attacks followed the same tactics because the Terrorists knew the Embassy Marine Guards were barred by Ronald Reagan from having ammo at their posts.

The Marine Gate Guards were barred from having ammo at their posts.  It makes it extra ironic that Mitt R-Money claimed the US Military was out of bullets during his dishonorable run at President Barack Obama in 2012.  And of course, Traitor Trump often claimed the military didn't have bullets cause President BaBlack OBlackma stole them for his Chicago gangbangers to use. 

I know proximity makes one believe Trump is the worst President in United States history but, Reagan still probably has the best claim on being the worst.  Followed closely by that other draft dodging warmongering villain George W(orst POTUS) Bush.

Make no mistake, Trump is right now the gravest threat to the United States, because his second administration will be vicious, evil, and end American Democracy but, we have a chance to defeat him though he stands a 50/50 shot of eeking out an Electoral College "Victory"

Every Tesla car crash is Operator Error

Earlier this month another MV-22 Osprey crashed, killing all Marines aboard, which brought back memories of the Department of Defense repeated defense of the fragile tilt-rotor aircraft, by ascribing every crash to 'pilot error'.  I'm thankful I didn't have to fly in one when I was in the Corps.

The NHTSA has revealed that during Tesla Autopilot crashes, the autopilot, "aborted vehicle controls less than one second prior to the impact."  The despicable, odious, Apartheid lovin' Elon Musk, has repeatedly cast all the crashes involving his shit-boxes as driver error.  

MotorTrend took pains, in their article to label those pointing out that this is damning evidence as"Tin-foil-hat types" and stated the intent of the Autopilot deactivations is a "mystery" and there's no evidence (published yet) that it's nefarious, because they don't won't to alienate the Tesla fanboys or Musk's company by accurately reporting that Tesla Motors, while once considered cutting edge and iconic, is no longer a technological leader and is fading fast due to Elon Musk's despicable behavior and borderline personality disorder.

This, of course, ignores the long history of corporate malfeasance in America and elsewhere as companies have more than willingly sentenced people to death because they know the rules of large numbers mean that while a certain number of people will be harmed people can rest assured surely no company would ever harm it's customers!  Still, MotorTrend couldn't help but proclaim those who are less than trusting of Deplorable Musk and Tesla programmers and would ascribe bad intent to a company are nutters;

From where we're sitting, it'd be fairly idiotic to knowingly program Autopilot to throw control back to a driver just before a crash in the hopes that black-box data would absolve Tesla's driver assistance feature of error.

Duncan Hunter is an Ex-Marine and a current Republican Scumbag which is why conservatives love him

For anyone unversed in Marine Corps parlance, there is only one ex-Marine; Lee Harvey Oswald. However, I now consider despicable criminal congressman Duncan Hunter and ex-Marine as well.

Duncan Hunter is a scumbag who needs to be stripped of his EGA for his criminal actions and general malfeasance. Hunter's criminal actions are not unusual, of course, he does benefit from the IOKIYAR, as Criminal Hunter is not facing the same jail sentence as Jesse Jackson Jr, nor the same daily harangues by the rightwing media. In fact, Hunter taking a page from Traitor Trump has claimed because prosecutors aren't Republicans his case which begins in September should be dismissed.

The United States Marines have had to send cease and desist orders to Hunter's office, because Hunter continues to wrap himself in USMC symbols to deflect from his criminality.

Remember the outcry against President Obama for having a Marine hold an umbrella in the rain? Remember all the bullshit email forwards that a Marine guard at Marine Air One demanded President Obama get off the chopper and return his salute?

And now juxtapose this against the silence from Faux News and the rightwing internet. If Hunter runs again I guarantee-fucking-tee conservatives will dutifully line up and vote for him.

Conservatives actually hate Veterans and see service members as props to use in their never ending Civil War against liberals. Conservatives piss on Veterans who don't help advance the rightwing agenda of intolerance and oppression. Recall the vitriolic disbelief Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity had at learning Pat Tillman did not support the Iraq War, did not support American Imperialism and read Noam Chomsky.

Trump wants an expanded Military able to fight multiple wars at the same time

According to reporting in the Armytimes and MarineCorpstimes, Donald Trump wants an expanded military able to project military power in multiple theaters simultaneously.

Trump wants an active-duty Army with another 60,000 soldiers in the ranks, an unspecified number of additional sailors to man the 78 ships and submarines he intends to see built in coming years. He wants up to 12,000 more Marines to serve in infantry and tank battalions, and at least another 100 combat aircraft for the Air Force. 

Where is he going to get the extra Americans from? Right-Wingers love to talk up the military but shy away from actually joining and doing the work. Conservatives shirk duty at every opportunity.

But, during the Global War on Terror (GWoT) sometimes known as World War IV to Conservatives (Ronnie Raygun having won World War III against the Soviet Union by himself), Young Conservatives eschewed military service. During W(orst POTUS Ever) misadministration military Recruiters, under massive pressure to make quotas, were driven to signing up gangbangers and white supremacists to fill vacanies which conservatives were reluctant to fill. But, conservatives were more than willing to fight the battle on the homefront; Attacking liberals, defaming anti-war activists, and joining the couch-borne keyboard commandoes.

However, during the year-long 2016 Presidential Race, conservatives adopted a mealy-mouthed anti-war stance, which they really didn't believe. Right-Wingers and their media sychophants assured America that Trump hated Wars, especially Iraq. Of course, Iraq really was entirely the fault of HRC and her 30 year reign as Emperor of America. The vote totals probably indicate Trump's new found anti-Iraq War stance didn't sway anti-war people into Trump's camp but, it did afford ratfvckers like Glenn Greenwald and Jill Stein cover to go after HRC while minimalizing the world-wide danger represented by Donald Trump.

So, what we are seeing is a repeat of Reaganomics. Massive deficit spending on the military. Jobs creation focused on the military; more soldiers, more contractors, more non-military support staff.

Remember that for every soldier, airmen, sailor, or Marine in uniform you're talking at least 9 non-military personnel added.

Trump has promised to build a Marine Corps capable of simultaneously winning two wars. It would be based on 36 battalions, up from the current force structure of 24 active-duty infantry battalions, two active-duty tank battalions and supporting units. That means adding between 8,000 and 12,000 more Marines to the service’s roster, another potentially expensive personnel plus-up dependent on a significant influx of new funding.   Using the fiscal 2017 personnel costs as a base, that could total more than $1 billion per year just in personnel costs, before equipment and training are factored in. 

But, when coupled with the right-wing moronic lunatics Trump is proposing former Marine Corps General James Mattis for Secretary of Defense and General Mike Flynn for National Security Advisor it's time to realize the United States is about to enter two new wars in the Middle East; i.e. An invasion of Syria to unleash Trump's secret smarter than the generals plan to fight ISIS and a ramping up of tensions with Iran under the leadership of Warmonger Senators Tom Cotton and John McCain until Trump declares war to distract the American people.

So, as conservatives get their war back on, challenge them over and over to enlist and put their asses on the line instead just talking tough. But, get ready for Generation: Chicken Hawk 2.0.

Besides the big lights in toxic conservative talk radio, Sean Hannity and Dennis Miller, a headshot of former Congressman Joe Walsh is also displayed.

Well, Joe Walsh has always been a charlatan as well as a racist scumbag jagoff.

Walsh has been pulled from the 560AM lineup indefinitely because he kept trying to say the racist insult of African-Americans on live air.

It's always aggrieved white conservatives who are just infuriated they can't scream that word out loud whenever and wherever they wish.

So, they invent ways around the societal ban on the word. One way conservatives circumvent the societal taboo on the word is the fabrication of quotes.

The classic Tea Party fabrications involve the Founding Fathers having agreed with the Right-Wingers on every issue. But, when it comes to racism Tea Party types slander President Lyndon Baines Johnson.

Joe Walsh was beloved by Tea Parties across the Nation, of course inside his district Illinois residents knew he stood for nothing, had no ideas and only ran for office in order to free-government supported healthcare coverage and to enrich himself at the taxpayers expense.

In response, Walsh screamed, "DON'T blame the Banks! I am tired of hearing that crap!" The "crap" being the truth about how the Banks and Wall Street collapsed the US housing market and turned the US economy into a giant gambling ring.

After video of the ignorant puerile Walsh came to light, Rakestraw told interviewers, "[E]arlier I had told him if he supports Darrell Issa‘s bill to reform the Post Office that 200,000 jobs could be lost. 20% of those employees are veterans. Mr. Walsh came up to me and said, ‘I do not care about the loss of public sector jobs.’"

My regular postman is a Veteran. My mother works for the Post Office. Many Veterans have worked and do work for the Post Office after their military careers.

In 2006, the Republican Party hatched a plan to cripple the US Postal Office. The Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006 mandated the agency “pre-pay” into a fund that covers 75 years of health care costs for future retired employees. Under the mandate, the USPS is required to make an annual $5.5 billion payment over ten years.

In 2011, former Congressman Joe Walsh took time out of his busy schedule not paying child support to scream at Melissa Rakestraw, a postal worker and constituent, when she met Joe at a Coffee house to voice her concerns that a 2011 Republican Bill would destroy the Post Office,

Issa, Joe Walsh, Peter Roskam and the Republicans goal is the desire of the Plutocracy; to eliminate what the US Post Service offers and represents; a living wage, reliable benefits, and a defined pension, a stable retirement. A chance to create a solid future for oneself and their family. 

The Republican Party are adamantly opposed to the Americans Middle Class and have been working for 35 years to grind them into dust,

According to the New York Post and Conservative Chicken Hawks, Marine Corps Legend Dan Daly is too "Girly"

Famous Marine Dan Daly twice won the Medal of Honor. Of the photos we have of Daly he is wearing a cover (that's the USMC name for hat for all the right-wing chicken hawks who never had the courage to serve) very similar to the one recently announced as a possible uniform change for female marines.

The New York Post, which declared JP Morgan Chase was being robbed at gunpoint by Uncle Sam when JP Morgan Chase was recently fined $13 billion for the bank's role in the Republican Grand Recession, has now declared Obama wants Marines to wear 'girly' hats.

The article continues with its' homophobia (girly= effeminate homosexual in right-wing parlance) and baseless bashing of President Barack Obama while also throwing in some good derision at the French; claiming the new version is so “girly” that they would make the French blush.

Should I point out that the 5th and 6th Regiment of the USMC currently wear French decorations with their Dress uniforms? Or would that be too girly since I used the word "Dress"?

The most important thing in America is that Right-Wing chairborne commandos, conservative chicken hawks, and anti-american Faux News drones be allowed to offer up their opinion about the Marines in specific, the President and the Nation in general, seeing as they never had the stones to actually enlist and put their asses on the line?

No matter the topic the always wrong, often insulting, and sometimes despicably evil conservative view must be heard otherwise you're being a biased liberal!

How many of these homefront Blame Barack Warriors know that Marines have more than one cover?

Personally, I never wore the "Barracks Cover" save for two occasions. Boot camp graduation on the parade ground and the Marine Corps Ball. Every other time when I was in "chucks" or the Service A I wore the garrison cap.

But, hey just like with umbrella-gate and every other poutrage faux scandal the Right has attempted to pin on President Obama, those screaming the loudest have no real knowledge of what they are talking about, no first-hand experience about what they are offended by, and are just making shit up.

Conservative Chickenhawks Scream about Marines and Umbrellas (Update: Photo Evidence)

Conservatives are sack less wonders. Despite not having the moral or physical courage to serve the country in Uniform, Right-Wing nutjobs believe they understand the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the Military Dress Codes.

Conservative racists are in a frenzy because Marines held umbrellas above the heads of President Obama and the Turkish Prime Minister during a rainy press conference.

M. Joseph Sheppard wrote an article for the Daily Caller about Umbrella-Gate which Free Republic and the Right-Wing Fart Bubble duly sucked in and regurgitated amongst themselves. 'Obama is demeaning and Demoralizing the Marine Corps!'

Of course, they don't understand JJ Did Tie Buckle because their cousin JJ can't even tie his shoes.

They pulled the same unhinged 'President Obama is demeaning the Office of the President' garbage when official White House photos showed Barack with his suit jacket off or with his feet propped up on the desk. Because Ronald Reagan never was in the Oval Office with his jacket off! And could you imagine the furor from Liberals if George W. Bush desecrated the Office by propping his feet up?!?

This is a consistent theme from the Right during Obama's Presidency. Republicans and conservatives have taken it upon themselves to destroy Barack Obama. And they see a successful way of doing this by causing as much turmoil and anger so that in years to come they can state 'Remember all the problems when Obama was President?' Hoping, most likely correctly, that people won't recall that conservative liars were the cause of all the fuss in the first place.

Conservatives have the mind set of Domestic Abusers, in that they blame the person they are attacking as being to blame for their attacks.

Despite all their proclamations, much of the vitriol directed at Obama is for the unforgivable sin of Presidenting While Black.

What is obvious, however, is that conservatives loathe President Obama but lack the moral fiber to proclaim it themselves, which is why they hide behind their thin sheens of 'Obama is demeaning the Office of the President' or 'Obama is demeaning the Marines'.

Conservative Cowards lack the stones to come out and say it themselves and, in this case, have to pretend they speak for the USMC.

Marine Corps Base Quantico and Kurt Myers Join the Second Amendment Hall of Fame (Updated)

In the early hours of 03/22/13, Three Marines at Quantico, Virginia have been shot to death. Apparently, two Marine Corps Officer Candidates were murdered by a Marine who then barricaded himself in a Barracks and eventually shot himself. The comments from the despicable Unrestricted Gun Violence Supporters were to blame Gun Control Advocates, President Obama and Muslims. (Update: The three Marines were all junior enlisted Active Duty trainers assigned to Quantico. As the killer murdered a male marine at one location and then killed a female marine and himself at the barracks it seems, sadly, this has the mark of an issue of infidelity.)

Last week, 64 year old Kurt Myers, a quiet loner who had only been arrested once in 1973 for Drunk Driving, shot six people seemingly at random killing four before barricading himself in an abandoned bar in Herkimer, Upstate New York. Myers then shot and killed FBI Working Dog “Ape” who was sent in against him before the Special Operations FBI/State Police Team killed him.

Seven people were shot in a wild gun fight after a rap concert at Mr. G's Entertainment Club in the Gresham Neighborhood of Southside Chicago in the early morning yesterday.

The Chief of the Colorado Department of Corrections Tom Clements was gunned down at his house two days ago*.

Gun Fanatics and Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists have so debased and sickened this Country that discussion of Gun Control evokes promises of violence and gun rampages. Multiple aspects of Gun Control enjoys overwhelming support amongst the American Populace. But, the NRA and Gun Nuts are creating an atmosphere of Death and Violence if their surrogate wieners are taken from them.

Speakers at CPAC 2013 promised a New Republican Party. But, what did The Lunatic Bachmann talk about at CPAC? Benghazi and Presidential Dog Walkers. Everytime a Republican mentions Benghazi they should immediately be asked to name the 4 Americans killed. I know it would be impossible to ask The Lunatic Bachmann because she’d run away from the Reporters.

And during all of this what are Right-Wing appointed Judges doing? Ruling that the Government keeping Guns out of the Hand of Convicted Felons is “Unconstitutional”. Because, the NRA backed a State Constitutional Amendment for Louisiana deeming gun ownership a “Fundamental Right” and according to Judge Judge Darryl Derbigny the State did not prove the “government’s compelling interest” in keeping the gun out of the hands of a convicted Felon.

We have a fundamental breakdown going on. The basic concept of Laws and Governance are being sundered by the NRA and a small minority of Gun Owners who would rather have scores of children die than see a single piece of legislation inhibit their so-called rights.

The Leadership of the NRA is paid millions to bully, cajole and entice Politicians to ignore the will of the people in service to Firearms Manufacturers. The CEO of Tactical Response James Yeager a Tennessee-based company declared he is "gonna start killing people."

"I'm not fucking putting up with this," Yeager declared in a Youtube Manifesto posted Wednesday. "I am not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. I'm not letting anybody take my guns. If it goes one inch further, I'm gonna start killing people."

It turns out Yeager's Blackwater-lite accreditations are false. It also turns out that when Yeager was in Iraq as a Contractor he froze, ran and hid during his one firefight.

Yeager would later write in a personal account of the incident. As more bullets chew into the cars, another voice can be heard on the tape shouting "Drive, drive, drive!" But no car moved. 

Yeager "punched the gas to the floor and the engine raced, but the car stayed stationary." The ex-cop had forgotten that the car he was driving had a manual shift, and had failed to engage the clutch or the gears. 

Yeager, unable to see the attackers, blasted away pointlessly at a barricade before running to take cover in a ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Two Portland Oregon Gun Nuts decided to exercise their Second Amendment Rights by walking around Downtown Portland, near shops and stores, with AR-15s slung across their backs.

Portland police identified the men as Warren Drouin and Steven Boyce. The men told officers they were hoping to educate the public about gun rights. Drouin said he hoped people would approach them and talk to them, instead of calling police.

I'd like to ask a "responsible gun owner" what is the difference between these two and James Holmes or Adam Lanza just prior to their mass murders?

The only difference is Intention. Please show me how someone can know Drouin and Boyce's intention by merely looking at them. Former USMC Corporal Joshua Boston let Senator Diane Feinstein know that he "will not have some woman" telling him he can't have his guns. Timothy Dolan speaking for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops proclaimed the President’s plan will require “careful moral analysis” and hoped "our religious freedom are not harmed by these regulations."

Religious authority. "Moral Analysis". What a joke. The same day the U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops was frightened loose women would get contraceptives, previously sealed documents filed in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee bankruptcy listed at least 8,000 new instances of child sexual abuse by 100 alleged offenders - 75 of them priests, all of them previously unidentified.

So, Dolan and the bishops can take their "careful moral analysis" and stick it in the Vatican Catacombs.

The images and video of US Marines urinating on the corpses of (Al Qaeda? Taliban? Unidentified Pashtun Tribesmen?) has elicited the standard reaction of outrage and condemnation from the SecDef, Commandant of Marine Corps, Secretary of State and put into motion a full NCIS investigation of the video and every possible Marine involved from Camp Lejeune. This incident is rapidly degenerating into the Torture "Debate", wherein the Right-Wingers defend something completely wrong because our "enemies" do bad things thereby making it okay. Mainly because conservatives have no compunction about being evil.

Personally, I never understood how it was fine to kill someone but, the follow on act of "desecrating" their bodies was then deemed the actual violation of the Rules of War. This is no doubt because I am not a gentleman.

Marines should know War is a gentleman's pursuit because every new recruit is taught Marine Corps Officers back in the 19th century wore a Barracks Cover with the Quatrefoil embossed on top. Officers were deemed not-legitimate targets for sniper fire and had to have a distinguishing mark on top of their cover to inform snipers of their non-targetable status.

Other ridiculous Rules of War have been tried over the centuries, the infamous Vatican decision in 1139 the crossbow was too deadly a weapon and could not be used, except on Muslims. All the way down to the the Geneva Conventions of the 20th Century.

The currently accepted Geneva Conventions (Right-Wingers orgasmic love of torture notwithstanding) are really a way Large Armies can fixate and maximize their advantage over small armies. Only a foolish military commander would follow rules of war which ensure his destruction. The moment Al Qaeda begins to mass large troop concentrations for a pitched battle is the moment they are obliterated. Such a concentration, training grounds, depot, armory, motor pool would be spotted and targeted with a massive amount of airpower.

Our enemies would be exceedingly stupid to follow the Rules of War.

This latest incident won't change much. Besides not getting the slap-in-the-face Good Conduct Medal, these Marines will be punished for their crimes, but what can never be brought up is that War itself is a Crime. Jingoistic War Profiteers and Chicken Hawks make too much money off of war. It doesn't matter that War breaks minds and bodies, plenty more were they came from, but don't make the War look bad.

Thus the Afghan War will continue for a few more years (or 4 more years if Mitt Romney steals into the White House) and new Wars will be hatched by the Establishment and the 99% will suffer all the costs, fiscal, physical and mental for the profit of the 1%.

Unfortunately, the US Marines are beset with rampant socialism. Worse still, many Marines, have bought into the marxist brainwashing and expect the Government to be their provider from Boot Camp to Battlefield to Beyond.

It starts early on when young Marines are indoctrinated in Boot Camp by receiving food, shelter and dental services. Even more unbelievably Marines have come to expect to have the cost of education covered by the Government. Education is not the Government's job! As the glorious Republican push to defund and eliminate public education shows, serving Marines should not expect the Government to provide them with a free education.

Well, the Corps is blessedly moving in that direction. The Marines were the first branch of the military to announce they are aiding military members by getting them off the Government tit by reducing "tuition assistance".

The Marine Corps announced Tuesday it has slashed tuition assistance by 75 percent for servicemembers who take classes on their off-duty time.

As every Republican knows public education is rampant with greedy teachers, low standards, and corruption. So, it's high time the Government stop funding these parasites, Marines included.

After serving the Marines just stick their hands out for a pension, which as everyone knows are unfair burdens on society, but unbelievably beyond that they expect free healthcare and dental care. Veterans have come to expect and rely on these Government VA Hospitals, when everyone knows they would be better off receiving one of Paul Ryan's patented Coupons for Care, with which they could go out into the godly-ordanied Free Market to haggle with healthcare providers for coverage of their TMI, PTSD and prosthetic limbs.

As Republican Marco Rubio clearly stated, Government healthcare has made Us weak and lazy!

So holiday travel caused me to miss the Congress and President Obama succeeding with many legislative victories. The most interesting one was the end of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and the civil rights victory for homosexual women and men in gaining the freedom to serve openly in the military.

Of course, Republicans hate freedom and liberty and wish to force Americans back into the bigoted white, christian, heteronormative gulag the conservative movement longs to force down the throats of every American. So, while it's unsurprising that a mere 23 Republican Senators and Congressmen voted to end DADT, it's safe to say that 90% of Republicans are ignorant bigots who hate America.

A key Republican Champion for bigotry is Congressman Louie Gohmert of Texas. Gohmert is most famous for his "Terror Babies" declaration, that America is being invaded by muslims who will have children here then leave, indoctrinate these children as terrorists and let them return (since they are American citizens) as sucidie bombers 20 years later. When pressed by Anderson Cooper who stated flatly, "the FBI says it's not happening" and asked Gohmert to provide the slightest shred of evidence for his cheap pulp fiction scare story, a blubbering Gohmert floundered, stammering "You going to keep me honest! It's happening! It's happening!" and became a mass of incomprehensible gibbering jelly, most Republicans are mounds of flabby pasty jelly sans courage.

Well, following the victory for freedom, Gohmert took to the House floor to recall a tale of gay panic which he suffered back in his military days. The story centered around a gay soldier who apparently made a pass at Gohmert no doubt after he caught Louie staring too long at him while in the showers or after Louie offered the soldier some extra wrestling practice.

Louie was of course super offended. How dare that muscly tight bodied hunk of a soldier tempt Louie Gohmert!

Now, here's the thing, to many conservatives this story sound like a terrible threat which is going to afflict our young men in the service. You see, conservatives don't have any first hand experience with the matter because conservatives are cowards and chicken hawks who don't serve in the military, so they'll have to get there stories second or third hand (but please don't make that a dirty thing).

I, as a Liberal, love America and served in the Marine Corps, so I know about barracks life. The Marines have the worst male-female ratio of all the services (19 to 1). The Army has the most female members of all the branches, so it's interesting that Louie always focused on the men while he was in, but I'm sure he only admired their tight bodies abstractly and nothing more.

Anyway, in the Corps, whenever a young lady transferred to my company and into the barracks her first night would be met by a number of male Marines knocking on her door to introduce themselves. This happened on numerous occasions and barracks fire watch often was tasked with stopping foot traffic to the female barracks area.

Of course, Louie wouldn't know anything about this as his Army time was spent praying to god to remove those mental images of sexy army boys parading their "overt homosexuality" past him.

At Fort Eustis Virginia, Soldiers were given the Sophie's Choice of attending born-again Christian Gen. James E. Chambers, The Commanding General's Spiritual Fitness Concert or cleaning the barracks. Of course, high ranking proselytizing christian bigots isn't a new phenomenon. Recall Lt. Gen. William G. "Jerry" Boykin, "I knew my God was bigger than his. I knew that my God was a real God and his was an idol."

Even I have a story which I've recounted before:

After completing MCT (Marine Combat Training) in early 2001, the SOI Bn CO LtCol regaled the young marines (and me since I wasn't so young) with tales of life in the Corps and the brotherhood we had joined. We had spent (most of) the last 17 days in the field learning the absolute basics of military tactics. After which we had the opportunity to take a shower to clean off the grime and mud of 2 weeks in the field.

Getting back to the LtCol, at the end of his speech he informed the Marines they now had the duty to clean the showers we had just used because a good Marine always leaves equipment and quarters in as good a condition as the way he found them. However, an offer was made. If the Marines wanted to stay and listen to the LtCol he would tell them the truth of Creationism and debunk the lies of Evolution using a treatise he had written and self-published and of which he had available copies for the Marines to take with them.

I was stunned. I left with the group assigned to clean the mud coated showers and befouled shitters. My reasons were partially because I don't shirk duty but mainly because I was upset over rank ignorance being forced down the mouths of tired and impressionable young men by a Marine in a position of Authority.

Thinking about the situation later I realized I should have stayed and grabbed a copy.

The White Christian Fascists have control of the US Military. Is there any doubt why they loved heading to the Middle East to kill muslims and convert them? And this explains the continued slander of President Obama the Muslin!!!11!1! If Obama were to attempt to curb the religious fanatics, the christian fascists, Chicken Hawk and Chicken Shit Sean Hannity and Fox News would immediately whip up the conservative Tearrorists about how Obama "The Muslim" is curtailing the religious freedoms of soldiers.

On 01/23/10, the US Marines transferred Anbar Province over to the US Army and are heading home after 7 years of Operations in the area.

And while I am still firmly against the Iraq War, and do not believe any so-called victory is worth the price we paid, I salute my brave Corps Brethren.

The Marines who served prior, during and after my time in Iraq accomplished an incredible feat through sheer guts, intelligence, determination, training and perseverance despite the best efforts of the Bush/Cheney Neo-Con chicken hawks and Democratic cowards who sent them over there to make money for the War Profiteers.

Sadly because Conservatives have no intention of going to war they view the Marines and Soldiers as little more than wooden tokens on a RISK like game board. And many Marines bled their heart's blood into the desert for no good reason. And those that made it back to the States physically have left a part of their souls in the Middle East.

For some Marines never really come home. They suffer, unable to readjust to regular life in the 1st CIV DIV. Many take their lives.

Why? Because Dick Cheney and the Republicans (and then the Democrats) couldn't be bothered to deal with bureaucratic mismanagement and spend time helping those they sent into harm's way. But, that's to be expected from Republicans. Republicans are Cowards who hate the Troops and view them as raw meat. To be ground up serving Republican interests and advancing the Republican Party.

The Republican Party especially likes when soldiers die because Conservative Chicken Hawk Cowards, like the grave robbers and fakes they are, put their evil ideology, into the mouths of the dead for whom they have no right to speak.

Championing War, with no intention of fighting, and Using the dead are core Conservative Principles.

The Senate Committee on Foreign Relations finally got around to telling America that President Bush ordered the US Military to allow his buddy Osama Bin Laden to get away. I don't know if John Kerry got a copy of Kill Bin Laden by Dalton Fury but the Senate Report references Fury's book extensively.

Therefore, the conclusion is easy; President Bush is a traitor who forced his way into operational decision making and stopped America's Special Forces from killing Bin Laden because Bush needed the specter of UBL to scare Americans win elections and use the power of the Federal Government to channel Trillions of Dollars to his handlers and controllers.

As to Obama's acceptance of more war... There is a difference between starting 4GW Wars of Choice like Bush/Cheney did and inheriting the cluster fuck of guerilla wars from Republican Chicken Hawk Cowards but I had hoped for more from President Obama than to be subsumed into the Pentagon's Warmongering Military Industrial Complex.

Hillary Clinton has always been a warmonger, ready to use the military for National Interests but I thought National Security Advisor and Former USMC Commandant James Jones skepticism may have carried the day and convinced Obama to not escalate but begin the draw down and exit.

Jones explained: "You can keep on putting troops in, and you could have 200,000 troops there and Afghanistan will swallow them up as it has done in the past. We need a better plan with the allies to gradually turn over responsibility for the country to Afghan institutions and organizations in as short a time as possible."

There are only two servicemen, killed in Afghanistan, Chicken Hawk War Proponents can name, Pat Tillman and Joshua Bernard.

Joshua Bernard was the Marine whose tragic death was seen by Americans safely ensconced in their homes, office buildings and EIB Studios because the Associated Press callously defied Bernard's fathers' request to not show the photographs of his death.

But, while the Pro Human Pain and Suffering Punk Ass Bitch Republicans and Conservatives became enraged at the showing of this Marines' death it was typically for the wrong reasons. To Punk Ass Bitch Rightwingers Bernard's death is necessary because once Bernard is dead flabby crap filled REMFpublicans can besmirch his name by co-opting him.

"So the words about noble deaths and sacred blood and honor and such are all put into dead lips by grave robbers and fakes who have no right to speak for the dead."

Well, Marine Corps 1st Sgt John Bernard (retired), the father of Joshua Bernard and perhaps the only man who can speak for him wants a change in the RoE (Rules of Engagement) in the Afghan AO before more Marines and Soldiers, used as police officers and nation-builders, are killed.

The new RoE were put into affect by General McChrystal back in July when he took over the ISAF AO. His RoE calls for breaking off of contact with the enemy when said engagement threatens civilian Afghans and limits to the use of close air support (CAS) and indirect fire (arty).

Back then Never-Ending War Supporters and Punk Ass Bitch Rightwingers were skeptical of McChrystal's plan to try and limit civilian deaths. However, when McChrystal went public in his request for more forces in theater anti-Obama blogs, like Professor of Life supported McChrystal as if his word about the Afghan AO was inspired by Douglas MacArthur.

The Punk Ass Bitches of the Right would no doubt attack 1st Sgt Bernard if they could because all they care about is opposing Obama and anyone who gets in the way of the Righteous Anti-Obama War is against them. So, most likely, if any flabby Chicken Hawk Fox News Chicken Hawk becomes aware they will attempt to co-opt and use 1st Sgt Bernard to attack Obama.

The price we are paying for the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are not just measured in the tragic death of Americans, like Joshua Bernard, or the money stolen by Xe and other Military Industrial Complex Corporations but in the millions of small hidden fees extracted by warfare on the bodies, minds and souls of the survivors.

The Republicans (and Democrat traitors) have their Corporate Insurance Masters orders to provide the American People with the same level of Health Care Columbus provided the Arawak upon landing in the Caribbeen, i.e. slavery and death. And like Columbus, Republicans make official declarations (about Health Care) which are complete lies.

Insurance Compaines don't provide coverage. They will take your premiums but if you actually need to use their "coverage" the first thing the company will do is deny your claims and if that doesn't work for them, Insurance Companies simply drop you.

From a Washington Times story: Guardian Life Insurance Co. executive called high-cost patients such as Mr. Pearl "dogs" that the company could "get rid of." Legally barred from discriminating against individuals who submit large claims, the New York-based insurer simply canceled lines of coverage altogether. Guardian, a 150-year-old mutual company, reported profits of $437 million last year, a 50 percent increase over $292 million in 2007.

Insurance Companies make money by pretending to provide you coverage but if you are actually sick or become sick they will drop your insurance. Republicans delight in Americans working themselves to death in pursuit of Corporate profits and then being denied care. Its what the Republicans are striving to achieve for their masters. Republicans delight in hating you and watching you die.

Having been stationed at Swamp Lejeune North Carolina, one of the things I learned about was the quality of the ground water. Camp Lejeune (that's a US Marine Corps base for the Chicken Hawks out there) has had decades worth of chemicals leach into the ground and metals from ammo launched into the hinterland from various weapon systems. Because of that the groundwater was contaminated, and one of the effects has been a spike of Male Marines, who were stationed at Lejeune from the 1960's through the 1980's getting Breast Cancer. Male Breast Cancer is rare, extremely rare.

But, while these Marines get coverage from the VA (a government run option), Insurance companies would view this as a "pre-existing" condition and would deny them coverage. America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) blames Veterans for rising prices, just like the Republican Party and The Bush Administration:

The AHIP study shows that nearly half of this apparent increase in Medicare expenditures can be explained by controlling for the use of services received through the Veterans Administration (VA) or at military facilities.

AHIP and Republicans want Veterans to die because as David S. Chu the Pentagon's Undersecretary of Personal and Readiness, under President George W. Bush, said, "The amounts have gotten to the point where they are hurtful. They are taking away from the nation's ability to defend itself."

Like gangsters and criminals, AHIP the national association representing nearly 1,300 member companies providing health insurance coverage to more than 200 million Americans, brazenly threatened Congress and the American people that they will simply raise prices if any real Health Care Reform occurs.

Eventually, if Republicans are allowed to, they will help Health "Insurance" Companies simply take your money and disavow every disease as a pre-consisting condition and allow all Americans to die.
