“Friends, it’s time to vote for a secure border. It’s time to vote for a safe America.  It’s time to vote for me.”

As with Jim Oberweis, there's something about these wanna-be Landed Gentry who believe they are the Patrician Class and political office is owed to them as their birthright.  Darren Bailey absolutely believes he is owed Illinois office and the deference from the American people.  Bailey also repeated lies about "illegal" immigration and fentanyl and was accompanied by Illinois Freedom Caucus State Rep. Blaine Wilhour another downstate Illinois farmer.  Wilhour spoke about the need to stand up to Governor J.B. Pritzker, an end to sanctuary cities, and the help for Illinois residents instead of migrants.  

Hilariously, the real problems at the border are the various factions of Reactionaries turning on one another at Eagle's Pass as they learn Faux News and rightwing liars, lied to them again.

One of the most bad faith tacks rightwingers take when talking about money for Migrants is too bemoan that money could be going to homeless veterans.  It's the most disingenuous bait-and-switches Republicans use, similar to how they try to distract from every mass shooting and sensible gun control law by talking about Mental Health, which is another thing Republicans will never fund.

Republicans have no intention of helping homeless veterans, Republicans routinely piss on Veterans.  While Chickenhawk coward Sean Hannity was broadcasting an attack on President Biden and giving a bullshit monologue claiming Eric Adams and New York City liberals should be giving homeless veterans a $106,000 debit card they are giving migrants, his bad faith broadcast was interrupted by Curtis Silwa proclaiming, "our guys have just taken down one of these migrants."  Because "they've taken over.  They're taking over."

I am completely unsurprised the "Guardian Angels" saw a brown person, accosted him, and threw him onto the street.  Look, don't kid yourself, Fascism is already here.  Faux News labeled this video "Guardian Angels stop Migrant Attack in NYC"...  Republicans will call their violent mistreatment of migrants and "suspected" migrants as enhanced Internal Border Patrol and beef up and super charge the Homeland Security Apparatus and then use it as all Authoritarians do; to cow and control the populace at home.  Of course, the circle of enemies will expand from migrants, to those who aid migrants, to LGBTQ+ persons, to women who get abortions, to anyone suspected of being associated with an abortion, to anyone teaching children wrong American history, to anything Republicans can come up to send people to the massive concentration camps Republicans have already planned to create Day 1 in 2025.

This is how The Law works in a rightwing dictatorship, you are guilty on sight and if you resist then you get roughed up (or killed) before being taken away.  Just ask any black person you might know about the presumption of innocence.

On the other hand, Travis Kelce doesn't cause the same level of senile pants shitting fear in Boomers that Taylor Swift does but, really, really, really, frightens and angers contemporary white male rightwing cohorts in his age group.  They call him Mr. Pfizer dur-hur-hur and expect him to keel over any day now from the Covid Vaccine.  Instead, Kelce is close to being the all-time leading receiver in Playoff history, surpassing the G.O.A.T. Jerry Rice.

Now, Jerry Rice played in the 1980's and 1990's before it was a QB and passing dominant league and his numbers like Dan Marino's 1984 season and other career marks perhaps stand above the modern game depending on your analysis but, Kelce's achievements are on par with the upper echelon Top Ten pass catchers in NFL history. 

But, this season as Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship became known to a greater audience, it brought reporting from various media outlets who normally don't cover Sportsball.  Enter the FNYT with their report young men are entering barber shops asking for the "Travis Kelce" haircut.  and likening the "buzz" to the Jennifer Aniston bob cut in the 1990's Friends.

Kelce was having none of it and pointed out it's just a taper fade and chided reporters with throwing him under the bus for popularizing the haircut during Black History Month.  Of course, besides it's on-going popularity in the black community if the FNYT had ever decided to speak to a Veteran instead of seeking out angry senile white boomers in rural diners they may have explained to them that the taper fade haircut is a weekly requirement when CONUS and stemmed from WW2 era haircuts...

The reason Republicans are worried is because young people don't trust them, they don't trust these doughy, weak grip, 30 year old boys Stanning for senile Jello-brained Rapist Trump.  These young women listen Taylor Swift and if she trusts Travis Kelce and his shirtless drunk brother then they will trust them too. 

Migrant Buses and the Governments inability to respond to a crisis - Part 6: Republicans hamstringing Government to Make America Fail Again

Before Ken Paxton and Greg Abbott tried to cosplay Sam Houston, the Texas response to the border has been to take large sums of money from the Federal Government and funnel it into the hands of Private businesses. Privatization of governmental functions is the hallmark of Republican "governance" such as it is.

"The government should be run like a great American company. Our hope is that we can achieve successes and efficiencies for our customers, who are the citizens.” - Jared Kushner, 2017. 

Turning Americans from free individuals in a shared society into customers and commodities of the 1% has been the goal of the Republican Party for 50 years;  undoing the Melting Pot and returning the United States to the Glided Age of Robber Barons and Wage Slaves.

Republicans always root for America to fail when out of control of government and when in charge of government Republicans make America fail.  Because Republicans hate America.

We all know that Trump businesses failed over and over and over and over and over again and the way Trump finally successfully ran his businesses was with a heavy influx of ill-gotten cash from the Russian mob, while he stiffed everyone who ever did work for him.  James Comey can testify to that.  

But, long before Steve Bannon dreamed of drowning the administrative state, Republicans have chipped away at a functioning government and have insured the government can not do big projects as was done under the FDR administration.

There are many things which should and must be done as by Government because Profit is not the motivating factor.  Long ago, when FDR inherited an American economy wrecked from the result of Republican malfeasance and unwillingness to do anything for the American people, he stood up the Works Progress Administration (WPA) to put Americans to work since businesses weren't willing to do so.

We've been living on the bones of the WPA and New Deal for almost 90 years now. Our infrastructure shows it, but Republicans have always hated the idea of Americans having living wages and a steady job that doesn't come with their complete obedience to a rich benefactor.  Republicans believe Corporate Persons should have free reign to hire, fire, and pay people whatever they wish for decades.

Actor Gina Carano sued Disney and Lucasfilm on Tuesday for firing her from “The Mandalorian” in 2021, over a social media post in which she compared being a Republican to being Jewish during the Holocaust.

The suit, filed in California federal court, alleges wrongful termination and discrimination, as well as a demand that the court should force Lucasfilm to recast her and pay at least $75,000 in punitive damages.

Elon Musk is funding the suit, following his promise to pay for legal actions taken by people claiming discrimination from posts to Twitter/X.

Now, this arrangement of Companies worth billions paying the vast majority of Americans less than living wages with no benefits worked as long as people had a social safety net to fall into 

• Walmart and McDonald's are among the companies with most workers on federally-funded social safety net programs to help pay for healthcare and food assistance, according to a report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
• Thousands of people working at the chains are on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food stamps and Medicaid, the watchdog found.
• Walmart was in the top four employers of Medicaid and SNAP recipients in each of the states analyzed in the report.

But, steadily since Ronnie Raygun, accelerating under W(orst POTUS ever) and then skyrocketing under Treasonous Trump, Republicans have worked to slice away the meager social services American can rely on.  The Republican goal is simple; to impoverish Americans and make them so hungry and so desperate as to accept any job, no matter how underpaid, with gratitude.

President Barack Obama's ACA was a "big fucking deal" and look at how fanatically Republicans from John Roberts to little shit Jean Schmidt have tried to destroy it for the last 15 years. Republicans do not believe in a government which helps the American people, the current MAGAGOP doesn't even believe in a functioning federal government.

Of course, in trying to undercut Americans wages and benefits, Capitalists like Trump employ undocumented labor and have done so for decades. Businesses have always had a giant Now Hiring sign at the border to encourage migrants to come work here for far less than it would cost to pay Americans.  This has unofficially officially been supported by Republicans for a very long time.

However, since Ronnie Raygun granted amnesty to 11 million persons in 1986, Republicans have turned Immigration into a toxic miasma of racism, white fragility, and a political torpedo to keep the working class white men frightened and fixed as Republican voters.

Which leads us to today.  Back during the 1930's and then during World War 2, the U.S. Government understood the need to be able to build.  The Army Corps of Engineers and the Seabee's, turned inhospitable far away South Pacific Island's into environments for large numbers of servicemen.  Additionally, the coast of California was transformed from a remote primordial rainforest into the housing and jumping off point for the Pacific theater.

The scope of the building and the obvious necessity have been replaced by the non-stop rightwing effort to privatize profits and socialize losses.

Remember one of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney's favorite thing to do during the Phony GWoT was to funnel tax payer money to private businesses to do work which once was accomplished by an arm of the military.  Because it was highly lucrative.  When Republicans were lamenting the state of the US Economy under President Obama, first by trying to lay the 2007 Republican Great Recession at his feet) and then by claiming there was no money available for any of President Obama's policy goals, as John Boehner took to the floor of the House after Americans decided to give the Tea Party power in 2010, and said it's time to further slash the social safety net, 

“Everything is on the table. We’re broke! Let’s be honest with ourselves.”

Well, why were we broke?  It was because Dick Cheney spent that money during the Phony GWoT.  The Deficit was born and grown in the deserts of Iraq and mountains of Afghanistan.  At least 5 Trillion dollars were spent on 20 year mission, but the Corporate Media did their job and helped shield and protect Republicans throughout that period, so that when President Biden withdrew us from Afghanistan in August 2021, the Corporate Media lambasted him and declared it the biggest strategic blunder in American history.  The withdrawal wasn't the blunder you see, it was cutting off that spigot of Federal taxpayer money flowing into the coffers of rapacious private business. 

So that's a long way around reaching to the current Manufactured Crisis about the Border and Immigration.  Even the God's Army of Trump Truckers who went to the Border to see the massive invasion were surprised when they didn't see it.

So, now we have the spectacle of the Border Security Bill, which Republicans are going to submarine.  

And yet, coming on the heels of the failed Impeachment of Secretary Alexander Mayorkas the Corporate Media will not call this out as a continuation of Republican inability to govern, a failure of Republican leadership, as endemic to Republican policies and agenda; namely, Republicans hate the United States and want to make America Fail Again.  Look at this NPR headline; "Congress devolves into Chaos over border and national security" Congress en toto, not Republicans but all those Clowns in Congress. 

But, then the Corporate Media has for over 20 years followed Faux News lead and reported rightwing outrages and Republican disingenuous tantrums as though they were done in good faith and with an eye to helping the Country.  They aren't Republicans want America to fail, they want and need Government to be ineffective or dysfunctional or worse.  Because for 50 years Republicans have been telling their drones the Government is the Problem, and now those Drones are in charge of Government and they are dutifully destroying Government and destroying America to "Save it".

Saving America to rightwingers means turning it into White Supremacist Nation State in which women are tightly controlled, Queer folk are silent or incarcerated, concentration camps for immigrants and others are up and running full-speed, and anyone who dares question the orthodoxy of White Power and Fascist Fundamentalism is eliminated.  Make America Great Again means Destroy the United States.

Fundamentally, Republicans don't believe the Federal Government (or State Governments for that matter) should help the poor, the sick, the downtrodden, or anyone else who doesn't have a big bank account to shower them with campaign donations.

Republicans are coming to steal your Social Security.  This isn't some nefarious secret plot, Republicans proudly and loudly proclaim their intention to eliminate it but, know even if it is reported (not a guarantee) their base of Rightwing drones will simply blame Biden and vote agains the Democrats.

In 2022, Republican David McCormick, millionaire CEO of a Connecticut based hedge-fund, tried to run for Senate in Pennsylvania on a platform of gutting Social Security,

“I think as a matter of reality, those entitlements aren’t sustainable in their current form for the future of our country.  I don’t think my kids are going to be able to live under the same entitlements that all of us that are here. So, I think we have to face that reality and do two things at the same time: keep our promises to people we made them to and change our entitlements in a way that they’re defensible and fundable into the future.”

Multi-Millionaire Republican McCormick thinks his kids won't get Social Security so he plans to steal it now, so he's running for senate again.  The Mega-Rich in America don't build anything, like Mitt R-Money or Elon Apartheid Musk, they are Vultures who swoop in and pick at the bones of Corporations, often by raiding pensions.

Because Boomers were greedy and Gen-X was cynical and stupid, Business and their Republican and NeoLiberal allies convinced them that Social Security was a bad bet and Pensions were "unfair" somehow.  Enter the 401(k) and other personal investment plans. 

I can not glibly say I hope White Men vote to have their Social Security taken away, even if they deserve to get what they vote for because I can not agree with having aGovernment which harms it's constituents.  And understand that is precisely the Government Republicans want.  Republicans hate America and Republican hate you and Republicans want you to have a short, unfulfilled life of toil and misery, with no real education and scant chance you will escape the perpetual wage slavery and corporate bondage they wish to enforce upon you.

Every Republican is invested in lying to you about Social Security and have been for over 40 years.   King Chickenhawk Coward Ronnie Raygun breathlessly claimed Social Security was about to go bankrupt just before his dementia set in  Speaker Mikey Johnson barfed forth the same odious lies,

“The reality is, they’re headed towards bankruptcy,” Mike Johnson said in his July 2022 C-SPAN appearance. “In just a few number of years, Social Security goes belly up. So does Medicare, Medicaid, all of these big-spending programs because we’re drowning in debt.”

Republicans hate you and want you to work from childhood until death.  The ability to retire before your body fails you completely has galled Republicans for decades.  

Eric Hovde, another Millionaire Republican, who plans to run for Wisconsin Senate in 2024, doesn't want younger Americans he plans to lord over to retire;

"The retirement age is still 65, life expectancy is 79. So my view on Social Security is real simple.  If you’re 50 or older we’re not going to touch it. If you’re under 50 you’re going to add two years to retirement age. If you’re under 40 you’re going to add two more years and if you’re under 30 you’re probably going to have to add another year.”

Republicans are banking on the Boomer base to continue fucking over the younger generations and expect them to vote to pull the ladder up.  For Republicans you get to rest when you're in the grave, you get to relax when you're dead.  Until your death, Republicans expect you to work.  "Retirement" is for the idle Rich and Republican politicians like John Boehner who do their duty cutting the social safety net and ensuring the American working class labors themselves to death.  Republican propagandists are clever maybe they could call their swindling of social security, The 10-to-65 Plan.  Maybe the Republicans could get Robert Lamm and Chicago to adapt their mega hit 25 or 6 to 4?  To Work yourself to death fro 10 to Six-ty-Five.

One of the things which becomes irritating is Rightwing propagandists as they age out, they get to retire to an Emeritus position Glenn Beck.  One of the bon mottes, Beck has liked to invoke for 10 years is there's no Hebrew word for retire or retirement;  

"He has a new book called Buried Treasure: Secrets For Living from the Lord's Language, where he is taking Hebrew and showing ‑‑ for instance, I love this, and this isn't in the book and let me just make this side note. One of the things he taught me was, "Glenn, there is no such thing ‑‑ there's no Hebrew word for retirement. It's not in the Bible. There's no word for retirement, not part of God's plan."

What toil what labor has Beck every done in his life? He's worked at Radio stations since he was a kid. Beck claims if he were to retire, he'd just get another job.  He's never done a job which requires physical labor and Beck had so much lazy free time on his hands he decided to get hooked on booze and drugs. Yet, here's a man who invokes god and has changed religious affiliations so often he thinks nobody get to retire because of God's plan.  Of course, Glenn Beck's wrong because even God Rested after creating all manner of beasts, the Earth, and the Universe.  What's worse is Beck continues to this day to lie to his listeners about Social Security.

Of course, even amongst the well-compensated next generation of rightwing liars, millionaire Charlie Kirk  would also like to steal social security and eliminate the idea you can retire,

Look, for current beneficiaries, none of – none of your obligations should be touched. So in the future, and I'm talking about my generation, I – I'm 29 years old. I'm willing to say, you know what, I'm willing to strike a deal so that people in their twenties are going to get next to nothing for future Social Security if it means we can balance the budget.

Kirk gets a lot of money to go to Campus and per formatively attack freshmen college kids over their views.  He also hosts the roving, never-ending CPAC circus.  I'm not sure how that's a job but, he's wealthy so he's more than willing to cosign his generation to never-ending work.

Nikki Haley, whom the Corporate Media so fucking desperately wants to be the Nominee so they can pull her over the finish line as the Media works to defeat President Joe Biden, absolutely believes you the American people need to work until you drop dead,

“What you would do is, for those in their 20s coming into the system, we would change the retirement age so that it matches life expectancy.  It’s the new ones coming in. It’s those in their 20s that are coming in. You’re coming to them and you’re saying, the game has changed. We’re going to do this completely differently.” Haley said on Fox News in March of 2023.

Republicans believe by telling the Boomers, don't worry we won't touch your Social Security, we'll just make sure those lazy, crazy Millennials and worthless confused Zoomers don't get it.  I think it's a working strategy I think Boomers are overwhelmingly going to vote for Trump and overwhelmingly vote for Republicans again.   A open question is whether Gen-X'ers, who've been raised in this BothSides are too blame landscape, will vote for Republicans?

So, at this point remember it's not me finding some rightwing random on-line espousing crazy views on Social Security; elected Senators, Congressmen, candidates for President, the Speaker of the House, two former Republican Presidents, and major conservative media personalities are pushing to eliminate Social Security.  I'd like to believe evidence would alter the minds of voters, but what we've seen clearly most Americans do not vote on their so-called policy positions.  So, we'll see if Republicans stated desire and plans to steal social security motivate younger voters or if the allure of Trumps nascent fascism and appeal to white power draws them in.  The Corporate Media will continue to do their best to soften Republican perfidy and dismiss peoples' concerns as they did with Abortion, which we know Republicans will never eliminate and we all know Republicans will never criminalize women who get abortions.

Republicans are a fascist organization which plans to impose the most austere, most murderous Government onto its own people.

Nikki Haley knows she hasn't a chance without the support of the White Male bigot portion of the Republican Party (i.e. all of them), so she's engaging in a different strain of racism, known as "Colorism".

Colourism in India is embedded within a deep history of class and caste discrimination, a history that supported the idea that fair skinned people were more intellectual, more attractive, and held a higher place in society than darker skinned people. 

Nimrata Haley's, so-called childhood nickname Nikki and her very bleached skin allowed her to Pass in the rightwing society.  But, she has to constantly prostrate and debase herself before White Power and she has decided to do this by 1) incorporating into every interview the catch-phrase, 'A President Kamala Harris should scare all of us', and 2) Rightwing bigots were totally correct to be openly racist during President Obama's tenure because he started it.

Wisconsin Drunk Van Orden hit with Ethics Complaint still running for Congress

One of the most insulting tactics Republicans get away with when running for office, is the claim they aren't politicians.  Trump used this tactic in 2016 against HRC, and continues to get traction from it today as he seeks to steal back into Office.  But, as Loud Drunken Van Orden demonstrates even alcoholic Republicans are afforded the cover of "not a politician" by the servile Corporate Media.

Drunk Van Orden, is a disgrace to the United States Naval Service, a violent alcoholic, and embarrassment to the United States Congress is running for his seat in Wisconsin's 3rd District again.  So much for Van Orden's claim he's "not running for Congress to run for Congress."

Between, the likes of Lauren Dick Grabbing Boebert, Gym Jordan, Chip Insurrection Roy, Republicans have an embarrassment of riches of embarrassments in Congress and one such member is Drunk Van Orden.

Fortunately, after announcing his campaign to Not be a Politician in Congress again, Van Orden was hit with an Ethics Complaint stemming from his boorish violent drunken behavior towards children in DC last year.

The complaint was filed by Matthew Lehner, the president of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire Democrats and a candidate for Eau Claire County Board. It specifically accuses Van Orden of violating House Rule XXIII, which dictates the code of conduct for congresspeople. 

“There is no doubt that the allegations about Van Orden’s behavior toward young Senate pages reflect discreditably on the House,” the complaint says. “The public expects Members to conduct themselves with civility and decency — especially when they are acting in their official capacity and inside the halls of Congress.”

It's great that many people still believe, ethics, rules, norms, traditions and even laws bind Republicans behavior;  unfortunately, the truth is the Republican Party is a lawless Fascist Entity which attempted to Overthrow the United States Government repeatedly, when Trump lost the 2020 election and have spent the last 3 years since their Jan6th Insurrection, undermining and hamstringing the Federal Government at every opportunity.

In the same way Republicans decided to steal the Supreme Court, the Republican Party has no intention of allowing themselves to lose another Presidential Election.  Meanwhile, Republicans in Wisconsin are furious that their undemocratic congressional districts are going to be undone thus allowing the majority of voters to choose instead of Robin Los and his cadre of NeoConfederate Fascists disenfranchising the majority of voters who vote against him and the Republican Party.

First off, I thought all good conservatives stopped watching Football because Kaepernick took a Knee.  But definitely MAGA stopped en masse when Jello-brained Trump told them too in 2017.  So why do Republicans care so much about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce and the upcoming Super Bowl? Oh that's right it's the PSYOP PSYOP PSYOP PSYOP PSYOP PSYOP PSYOP...

I know this has already been covered and dissected by some very insightful people but, what I am struck by is the continuing demonstration that to right-wingers your personal accomplishments do not matter to them at all when compared to your rigid adherence to Rightwing Orthodoxy.

The modern phrase conservatives use to dismiss and minimize expertise, experience, education, or success is I Did My Own Research.  Which is really I ignore reality and substitute in my own personal beliefs, as Robby Slowik demonstrated in his Covid -Ukraine Tweet.  

But, nonetheless bloated rightwing blabbermouths, feel absolute immunity and impunity to sit on their asses and talk about anything and everything of which they have no knowledge.  For instance Bennie Johnson, a nebbish Trump sycophant who has never had a real job and never done a day's worth of labor,

There are, however, some forces at play -- the Hail Mary -- to try and win back that youth vote. And the way you would do that is by taking the most brain-dead low-information voters -- of course I'm talking about Swifties, Taylor Swift fans who sort of worship this artist, kind of like at random, right? Like, just out of the blue Taylor Swift's the most famous person on earth. Now she's at every NFL game with her boyfriend who's backed by Bud Light and Pfizer. Travis Kelce is this guy who also kind of out of the blue became this big-time celebrity. Really rich, really powerful. Why? He's a tight end, he's like a glorified lineman. That doesn't make any sense. Tight ends aren't famous people in football. What are you talking about? What world are we living in? Sure seems planned. Sure seems like something that is, like, concocted in order to accelerate the fame of these two people.

I've always been perplexed by why the salt of the earth white working class, are taken in by these doughy and especially whiny rightwing propagandists who sit around all day talking and have never done a days work in their whole life.  Although, as social media has made every conservative an expert on every issue, it's clear some of these men believe if they can ape the style of a Hannity or now a Tim Pool they too can become a wealthy propagandist and stop "Dying of Whiteness".  It's kind of a Cargo-Cult thinking that by mimicking the words they can manifest the Magic.  Trump recognized this.

There's something pathetic about immature 30 year old rightwing men hating Taylor Swift and there is something even more pathetic about their listening audience of 40-50 year old white men telling their daughters, You know honey that Taylor Swift is an ugly egg-less old hag and deep state PSYOP so I would't get to invested in her music if I were you...

Part of the Taylor Swift hatred is easy to explain.  Most conservative men hold Incel style beliefs about women and believe that any woman is kind of available as long as they (the man) show interest in her.  Years ago, conservatives had convinced themselves Taylor Swift was going to be their 6 foot tall TradWife  goddess pumping out 6 Aryan super babies as their mate.  But, as Swift has demonstrated a very mild Feminism and obviously does not ascribe to psychotic MAGA beliefs, these immature men have decided she's ugly, they never liked her anyway, and of course she's a radical PSYOP!

The "Psyop" claim only makes sense if you are versed in rightwing lexicon, which gets passed around on-line and which conservatives immerse themselves.  You see calling Taylor Swift a "Psyop" is to call anyone who registers to vote and presumably votes for Joe Biden or other Democrats illegitimate. 

Conservatives overwhelmingly believe the 2020 election was stolen.  Republicans plan to steal the 2024 election, if they can, but will call its' result illegitimate if they can not.  So, therefore Joe Biden is engaged in a Psyop to again get illegitimate votes and deny Real Americans (and only hardcore MAGA are Real Americans) the True President.

Now another reason righting claim Psyop Psyop Psyop is rightwingers think or truly believe that their non-stop campaign of lies and agitprop is a successful "Psyop" to dupe enough people into voting for Republicans so EAIAC strikes again.

Let's grow up and let's accept the fact that Taylor Swift may very well be part of an operation in order to influence the election.

Conservatives really are insane at this point.  And when Trump loses again in 2024, Republicans are going to declare the election invalid because Hunter Biden Laptop/ Taylor Swift Psyop/ Insert bullshit here and encourage violence... again.  The Psyop claim is nothing more than conservative justification to engage in Terrorism.  Be brave if you can, but be prepared because rightwing domestic terrorism is not going away in our lifetimes.

Are Sextortion and other Cyber Scams just a form of Reparations?

I recall over a decade ago reading about a Professor who had been taken in by on-line scammers in a 21st century Honeypot scam.  The 68 year old British Professor somehow convinced himself he was communicating with Denise Milani, a big breasted internet model who's claimed to be the most viewed woman in the world.  But, instead of moving to Bolivia to be with Denise Milani, the Brit was given a briefcase with 2 kilos of cocaine to transport to Belgium.

Most Sweetheart/Romance Scams which target the elderly don't end up with the victim being an international drug-mule but, with money being sent to the scammers.  There are multiple other types of scams which go after elderly (trusting victims).  But, increasingly young "disaffected" men are falling victim to romance scams in which they send pictures of their genitals and or videos of themselves masturbating to scammers.

I've taken numerous reports from embarrassed young men who tell me they're being blackmailed by these scammers after sending them "incriminating" pics/videos.  It's always the same basic MO, as the youth somehow makes contact with someone purporting to be a sexy single lady and I always have to break the bad news that a) it wasn't, and b) I can't help them get their images back or stop them from being disseminated.  And if they've paid money well that's gone too and that won't stop the blackmail.

Financial sextortion is the fastest growing crime targeting children in North America and Australia—accelerating at an alarming rate, with incidents surging up 1,000% in the past 18 months. In a December 2023 hearing, FBI Director Wray warned Congress that sextortion is “a rapidly escalating threat,” and teenage victims “don’t know where to turn.”

Cybercriminals are using fake social media accounts to coerce victims, almost all of them boys, into sharing an explicit photo. As soon as the criminal receives the photo, they threaten to (and sometimes do) expose the photo to the victim’s friends, family, and followers unless a ransom is paid. These criminals employ ruthless tactics to intimidate their victims, inflicting lasting trauma and immense distress–which has led to more than 21 youth suicides.

Apparently, the leading group is a West African cybercriminal gang called the Yahoo Boys.  If that's really the name the group choose I'm either disappointed at their inanity or impressed that Yahoo.com continues to this day to have a lasting impact on our on-line world.  I suppose Sextortion is an update on the Nigeria Prince email scam of the 1990's.

But, the question is how do you stop/control/minimize these young men from sharing pictures of themselves on the Internet?  As soon as cell phones added cameras, Dic Pics became the go to move of horny young men looking for sex/companionship replacing the drive-by hootin' and hollerin', and on street catcalls.  In fact, dick pics, death threats, and crypto cons seem increasingly to be all the Internet is used for.

I'm not going to minimize the toll this takes on the victims who suffer embarrassment and financial loss. Illinois residents lost a combined $267 million to internet based crimes and scams in 2022.  There are several CyberHeroes battling back against these scammers, Kitboga and Scammer Payback for instance. But, it is fascinating that this crime is being done by the descendants of the colonized, in places like Jamaica, West Africa, or Mumbai India against their former erstwhile Colonizers.  So, we could perhaps just chalk this up to Reparations but, a better plan would be mandatory education highlighting these new scams, while employing and empowering teams of Anti-Scammers, while stressing the old wisdom of if it sounds to good to be true it probably is...

Wayne LaPierre is currently in a trial for corruption.  It's been known for a long time NRA executives used the donations they got, not only for bribing Republicans to undermine Law&Order in the United States, but also for lavish trips for themselves and for expensive luxury items.

It's also a proven fact that the NRA was in contact with the Russian FSB, most likely through convicted FSB Agent and current Russian State Duma representative In a Butt, Maria Butina, who condutced an unsubtle Honeypot scheme on willing rightwing dupes.

Multiple NRA lowlifes and LaPierre himself flew to Russia in 2015, in a show of fealty to Vlad Putin.  In 2018, on Independence Day, Republican Senators would do the same, as they swore allegiance to a Foreign Government.

The NRA executives needed fresh influxes of cash (and didn't care what the source was) because they were using the funds for the personal benefit, as well as the bribes to Republicans.  You see the NRA was not as wealthy as rightwing Billionaires and could not easily keep the Supremacist Justices on the Supreme Court in the lifestyle they had become accustomed.

While, I believe LaPierre's claims of illness, medical infirmity, and cognitive decline are a sham to help him get away with decades of criminality and coarsening of American society, it would be pleasing to believe LaPierre's brain is so soaked with lead, antimony, and barium he is turning into a pudding brained bozo like Traitor Trump.

Of course, what always happens when some rightwing bozo gets in trouble with the law, conservatives and Republicans all of sudden don't know them and they become persona non grata.  For instance, Bill O'Reilly, Tucker Carlson, Matt Schlapp;  Thanks for all your hard work fucking over Americans see ya later.

LaPierre's brain is most likely shrinking from his heavy consumption of alcohol at all the soirée's he's attended were he and other gun humping crazies celebrate the latest mass shooting or valorize the latest domestic abuser to pick up a gun and execute "his" wife and family. 

A mother and her three daughters were killed Sunday morning in a domestic-related shooting at a house in Tinley Park, village officials said.

The shooting happened in the 7400 block of 173rd Place at around 11:20 a.m. Police were notified when a man at the residence called 911. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene at 11:36 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. 

The medical examiner identified the women as Majeda Kassem, 53, Halema Kassem, 25, Zahia Kassem, 25, and Hanan Kassem, 24. 

The scene is secure and a male suspect is in custody, according to a statement from the Public Safety Department. The suspect was at the house when police arrived, said Village Manager Pat Carr. He also said a gun was recovered at the scene. This is the deadliest shooting in the village since 2008, when five women were slain inside a Lane Bryant store, according to Carr. The case remains unsolved. “ 

"This stirs a lot of emotions for people,” Carr said.

This stirs a lot of emotions in people and how!  Wayne LaPierre, the NRA, and pro-gun psychos fucking love, I mean their tiny thin dicks get pitiful erections and orgasm, when people in Chicago are murdered by guns.  

Of all the rightwing villains who have consistently advocated for policies which undermine the United States and hurt Americans, Wayne LaPierre's 45 years in Washington DC, might make him the worst.  Describing the NRA, as an anti-law and order, foreign-funded, terrorist organization is not hyperbole but an accurate description of the organization.  

Which is why Republicans so closely align with the NRA leadership and stated goals, Republicans hate America and have nothing to offer the American people.

Migrant Buses and the Government's inability to respond to a crisis Part 5: Caravan of Conservative Terrorists on the way to the Border

There may be a convoy of armed rightwing domestic paramilitary terrorists is heading to the Texas border to bolster Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, and Ken Paxton's play.  (Never forget Republicans are so fat and financially well-off that the can take off for weeks or months and drive 1000's of miles bringing their arsenals of expensive guns to go Glamping and Cosplaying Cops in the Texas desert.). They call themselves TOBB and 'God's Army' as conservatives continue to make violations of Godwin's Law meaningless, knowing that the FNYT will simply not call them Fascists and will continue to BothSides everything, while making Republican Perfidy just palatable enough for the largely politically unmotivated middle able to punch that (R) on the ballot with a semi-clear conscience.

Republicans not only have no intention of doing anything constructive in reference to the border and immigration, it looks like they are hoping to spark a shooting confrontation with Federal forces.  And you know these Convoy Cosplay gun-tottin' yahoos are just itchin' to shoot a brown person.

Republicans have nothing to offer the American people.  They are not interested in anything to help the American people or to effectively govern the United States, nor any desire to interact with the wider world other than to play big swinging dick and tell everyone else well, SUCK. ON. THIS!  It's Rule or Ruin.  That's what's going on and that's what 2024 is all about.

I've said before but, when The Left (writ large) became so disgusted by the criminal and oppressive actions of Republicans and rightwingers we made a "mistake" in allowing them to co-opt the language of Patriotism, Freedom, and Liberty.  Republicans profane the Untied States of America but, they learned from the mistakes of their ideological ancestors in the Confederacy and have worked for decades to infiltrate, subvert, co-opt, and pervert the Nation into an ungovernable conglomeration of little fascist fiefdoms.  It's the same with religion, or more specifically christianity in America.  The abuses by the religious leaders, the dehumanization of people written into dogma, and the massive on-going grift by various denominations have allowed the worst people to claim the mantle of religious leadership.

Will this Texas border stunt turn into Mahleur Bird Sanctuary or a Waco?  Well, Biden was no doubt advising President Obama not to let the Bundy Insurrection (#1 or #2) turn into a large scale Ruby Ridge, which the Bundy Klan and Supporters definitely wanted but, this time we have a Governor and multiple "Law Enforcement" Agencies in Texas defying Supreme Court rulings and ratcheting up the pressure for a shoot-out.  Faux News continues to call this a Civil War, so you know diaper wearing rightwing grandpas watching at home are itching for this to be the Casus Belli, and open insurrection they've yearned for, for so, so long.

Understand quite clearly, Republicans have no desire to fix "The Border" because it has supplanted "Abortion" as the cause célèbre for Republicans to gin up Fear and Anger amongst their rabid base.  Notice how Republicans are fighting to make sure Abortion is nowhere on any ballot in 2024.

Legislative efforts in Missouri and Mississippi are attempting to prevent voters from having a say over abortion rights, building on anti-abortion strategies seen in other states, including last year in Ohio.

I will be amazed but, not surprised if Republican Treachery in Texas results in electoral victories for Traitor Trump and other Republicans in the 2024 elections because this bullshit border theater is too early to be an October Surprise.  But, the Republicans have subverted the government at many levels and will continue to do so not only because it helps them get elected but, also because Republicans don't believe in a functioning government. 

So... where are we right now?  Republican Governors are openly pledging their allegiance to this Texas Sedition and sending their National Guardsmen to help.  Republican Congressmen are clearly behind the effort and if something goes sideways I believe Texas Republicans and the various rightwing paramilitary are going to declare some sort of Declaration to overthrow the criminal Biden Crime Family by any means necessary.
