The Washington Capitals Alex Ovechkin Dirty Player Punk Ass Bitch, must be a Republican

The Alex Ovechkin case is absurd. Ovechkin is a Dirty Player, not only was the hit illegal (i.e. against NHL rules) Ovechkin's hit on Brian Campbell was dirty. And the outcome was horrible, Campbell was seriously injured as a result, suffering a broken clavicle and a broken rib.

But, Fans of the Washington Capitals reacted with ridiculous Sport Umbrage. 72% of respondents in a Washington Post Poll believe Ovechkin shouldn't even have received an in-game penalty let alone a suspension for a hit which ended Campbell's season. That number alone would indicate the harshness of Capitals Fans but when their shameless complaints and blog comments are added on I have to wonder if every Capital fan is a Republican for their egregious inhumanity.

Capitals Fans whining included baseless speculations (the ice must have had a rut, Campbell must have toe-picked), lies about Ovechkin's hit (It was from the side, it was a push) replay's clearly showed Ovechkin hitting Campbell in between his numbers on his back, paranoid conspiracy theories (the suspension is to make Ovechkin lose the Scoring Trophy, Colin Campbell hates Russian players because he's Canadian) false equivalencies (Player X wasn't suspended for his hit therefore Ovechkin should not be suspended either). It was really a massive amount of bullshit when the video of the hit clearly showed Ovechkin spread his feet to gain leverage, then deliver a hit on Campbell squarely in the back after the puck was gone and while he was 10 feet from the boards.

Now, if Ovechkin had never done an illegal intentional dirty hit before perhaps a two-game suspension would have been sufficient, but as if often the case with piece of shit criminals or hockey goons, Ovechkin has a long history and recent suspensions for similar actions.

And worst of all Ovechkin, his head coach, Bruce Boudreau and the team's owner weren't upset about the intentional illegal act by Ovechkin which resulted in a serious injury to Campbell but because Ovechkin got suspended for his filthy SMERSH-style play. "I was disappointed with the NHL's decision yesterday," ~ Alexander Ovehkin. “I was so upset for him. I feel so bad for the guy,” ~ Bruce Boudreau. Capitals owner Ted Leonsis wrote on his blog Monday that he didn’t think a suspension was warranted. “I don’t think Alex should have received a game misconduct for that play,” he said. “I don’t think he should miss our next game either." Disgusting.

It's embarrassing to see people suspend their reasoning capabilities because of their Sports Team loyalty, It's more embarrassing to see them suspend their morality for that reason.

Teabaggers to be Subverted into the System; Resistance is Futile

We are the Republicans, you will be Assimilated. ~ The RepublicBorg Party

Like the Borg, the Republican Party has become a soulless automaton whose only purpose is to absorb more and more Americans and increase their power and control. Now, there is a revived spirit of anti-government rhetoric which the Republicans have set their laser eye beams upon.

The Tea Party is generally grounded in good ideas but the group(s) have been subverted from within and are now being assimilated from without, as the Resplendent RepublicBorg Queen Palin told them.

The Tea Party principle of less government spending is something I can support; halt the 750 Billion plus annually doled out to the Military and the Merchants of Death, stop the subsidizes to the Agri-Business Giants and the Oil Conglomerates, end the no-bid government contracts to Halliburton, and the Mercenaries at Xe (Blackwater), DynCorp, Triple Canopy, stop the Bank Bailouts. Fiscal Responsibility is something I can certainly agree with; the ending of Government's Role as Corporate Welfare Provider and Partner, the ceasing of the US policy of Subsidizing Losses and Privatizing Profits, all worthy goals. Government should be designed to help it's citizens not be controlled and used as a weapon of Oppression the way the Republicans (and Democrats) have usurped her.

But, the Republicans are Hypocrites. They only remember to wear their fiscal responsibility diapers when the Democrats are in office. When they control the Levers of Power Republicans shit upon Americans and Steal as much money as they can and often times Kill Americans just to watch them die.

But, even if a more responsible government was the goal of the Teabaggers, that's not what I or the rest of America saw. Immediately, the images and message coming from the Tea Party was 'Where is Obama's Birth certificate?' and vile racist attempts to undermine Obama by using round about and sometimes explicit bigoted imagery and language as a way to de-legitimize him.

Now I tend to believe agent provocateurs from the Republican Party infiltrated set the fire and worked to subvert the Tea Party from within as high profile Republicans have worked to assimilate the Tea Party from without. But, the end result will be absorption of the Teabaggers into the amorphous Karl Rove-esque blob like body of the Republican Party, which prides itself on being made up of Racists, Punks, Bullies, Chicken Hawks, Thieves and Murderers.

And no matter the Republican running, even Mark Kirk a decorated Naval Intelligence Officer who is hated and reviled by conservatives because he actually served in the military and deployed overseas, I can not bring myself to vote for a Party which has fooled me and the American people.

As a famous Republican Statesman stated, "Fool me once shame on... shame on you. Fool me, you can't get fooled again."

Update:
A Tea Bagger Warner Todd Huston, inadvertently told the truth about The Tea Party, "So, there you have it, America. Tea Party protesters just 'hate the government,' they are racists, they are all white folks, they are angry, and they associate with secretive white supremacist groups that want to over throw the U.S. government."

If you think War is Good for the Economy

then you obviously believe that Theft and Criminal Damage are good for the economy as well.

Think about what a good boost to the economy someone breaking your car windshield and setting off a fire extingusiher inside you car does.

First you have to clean your car, this requires the use of cleaners and towels, plus maybe a vacuum so you'll need to pay for those supplies which keeps Americans working in production, transport and sales of those items.

Next you drive your car to get a new windshield this requires the use of fuel a boost for American oil companies. Then there's the labor required to put the new windshield into your car by the mechanic and you have to pay the cashier.

And unlike War which results in destruction overseas, when iPod's and jewelry are stolen and cars, homes, street signs and parks are vandalized it's happening right here! Americans get the added benefit of getting the latest updated equipment and newest infrastructure.

If one wishes to be logical with the continued pace of advancement in concrete techniques, fiber optic wiring, power cables, building materials and manufacturing techniques Americans should demand the US Government destroy everything (highways, bridges, homes, Wal Marts) in the United States using half of our munitions and rebuild it all in order for We the People to enjoy a technologically updated society.

Sean Taylor and Media Focus

A man named Sean Taylor was shot and killed. I am not happy about his untimely death.

I think the accounts which have chalked this murder up to a random burglary are discounting several key pieces of potential evidence. Taylor's father is an ex-police chief, which could easily provide motive for someone and the previous break-in at Taylor's home when a knife was left on his bed (a knife on the pillow was the warning of the Society of Assassins). Additionally, Taylor did have a criminal past including several incidents involving guns.
As an tribute the NFL has announced every player in the league will wear a #21 decal on their helmet.

However, I am puzzled and dismayed by the coverage from the news media. Could anyone at ESPN or the Washington Redskins name a soldier or marine who has died in Iraq? Do they even care?

Another 40 troops dead in November? Oh well.

But, the death of a man who can run fast and tackle people, who has been arrested for agravated assault with a firearm? Hell we need non-stop coverage!
