I don't know who is more upset;  the Chicago (and Suburban Police held in reserve) hoping to descend on some protestors and club them like their grand daddies did, Republicans who were hoping to declare Democrat Crime and Democrat Jew-Haters or the Corporate Media who were giddy at the thought of protestors derailing the Harris/Walz freight train towards victory.

The Corporate Media, Republicans, and Reactionaries in the Police wanted their very own Kent State, and their own 1968 DNC in 2024, so the Media could declare the Harris Honeymoon Over and now it's DEMS IN DISARRAY til Election Day and we need a Strongman like Dear Leader DonOld Trump to bring Order to this Nation.

Man you can see how much the Mainstream Press Corps and elite Journalists yearned for chaos and violence in Chicago.  It's dripping from the dozens of pieces they wrote and when it didn't materialize they were reduced to complaining their seats in the United Center were waaaaaaaaaaaay up in the 300 level and their free accommodations were so poor and the free dinner portions were so small!  

Fortunately, the Biden/Harris campaign team seems to have recognized the Corporate Media are not only not neutral, the Corporate Media is actively working for ugly weirdo Traitor Trump and the Republican Project 2025 Agenda.

But, besides the disappoint for the Republican Neo-Nazis, the other great outcome from the DNC 2024 Riots That Weren't was the utter inconsequential Dirtbag Left attack on the Democratic Party.  With the thought that Joe Biden would be accepting the nomination, the DNC and CeaseFire Now groups thought why would have up to 40,000 protestors making things miserable for "Genocide Joe" and the DNC; 

Then came Kamala Harris — and the protest fizzled.

Organizers anticipated there would be 30,000 to 40,000 protesters on hand for Monday’s kickoff. But only a few thousand showed up; police estimated 3,500.

“There were more reporters than protesters,” observed Bennett Weiss. He was there selling Gaza-related buttons, including one that, he said, describes himself: “Self-Ambivalent Jew Against Zionism.”

Instead, perhaps a few thousand showed up, and they were either non-entities or such idiots they made the Chicago Police look good in comparison!  This was a great success for the Chicago Police and showed what can happen with proper planning and training in Police Forces,

“Can we stop talking about 1968?” Chicago police Superintendent Larry Snelling asked at a news conference Friday. “2024 is the new standard, and the men and women of the Chicago Police Department set that new standard out in the field.” 

After their outside agitation failed, these groups demanded a speaking spot at the DNC which was rightly declined because why would anyone give the erstwhile Left a chance to derail the Triumphant Harris/Walz DNC?  

What a colossal failure by the erstwhile Left, I write erstwhile left because this is a group which voted for Trump in 2016, preemptively declared they would never support Joe Biden in 2020, and decided to rebrand on the fly from ABANDON BIDEN to ABANDON HARRIS because like a horseshoe many of those "leftists" hate the Democratic Party as much as Faux News and the rightwing propagandists like Charlie Kirk, Mike Pillow Lindell, and Jack Proboscis trying to desperately to get some soundbite from some Kefir wearing malcontent which they could use to label Doug Emhoff an "anti-Semite".  Instead, Mike Pillow Lindell was fighting with children and Jack Proboscis was reduced to crying don't say any naughty words during my disingenuous podcast!

Meanwhile, soon-to-be President Harris and Vice President Walz continue to take their message of Joy & Freedom, True Liberty & Real Patriotism directly to the American people and the Corporate Media are getting more and more desperate to blunt what looks to be a 21st century electoral blowout of the Dear Leader DonOld Trump.

The children of Gaza (and the West Bank) are going to need a Sir Nicholas Winton because the IDF, Likud Government, and illegal West Bank Settlers are planning on exterminating every Palestinian they can.

Besides the bombardment and slaughter of children, The IDF and War Criminal Netanyahu are creating multiple human catastrophes in Gaza.  For instance, reduce many in the population to the brink of starvation and then machine-gun down the starving people when they rush to get some of the meager food supplies the Israelis are letting through.

According to the Gaza health ministry, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) killed at least 104 people and injured at least 750 others as they were congregating in Nabulsi Square near Gaza City, hoping to access flour that was expected to come through in aid trucks. Troops shot at the crowd with tanks and drones, and ran tanks over injured and dead people as they fired, according to Al Jazeera.

Indiscriminate firing into a crowd of starving people and running over the wounded with tanks are crimes so monstrous, even the United States didn't do it during the long Iraqi Occupation.  It's what the villainous Fascist Future Government in The Running Man did at the beginning of the film.  However, the Israeli war criminals know that after each and every one of their war crimes they merely have to say wasn't our fault, our soldiers always avoid civilian casualties, and anyway those killed were Hamas Rapists & Terrorists.

The death toll in Gaza is reportedly 30,000 but, the IDF counters its' killed 10,000 Hamas fighters and blames any other deaths on Hamas using Palestinians as "human-shields".  In their latest indefensible war crime the IDF blamed Hamas for rushing to steal the food, and claimed their soldiers only shot people who posed a threat, and most of the deaths were the result of looters who drove the trucks through the crowds.

Netanyahu and the IDF are going to kill as many people as possible and there's not much anyone is willing to do or can do to stop this.  Whenever this ends, Israel has destroyed their moral credibility for the next 50 years but, it matters little to the leadership of Likud or Hamas.  They see this war as beneficial and absolutely in line with their goals.  I fear the Israelis and Palestinians are doomed.

It’s so tedious but, the Brogressive Left have found their reason not to vote for Joe Biden in 2024.  Israeli atrocities will be the wedge Republicans and Russia use to steal the 2024 election.

The Majority Report posted a video last night about 9pm Central Time, about President Biden's appearance on the Seth Meyers show and in the next two hours over 700+ bots descended upon it to smear President Biden as "Genocide Joe" or call him a War Criminal, as well as claiming Biden's brain is mush.  The bots also had to declare Ukrainian funding a crime because rightwing talking point, that money should be used here to help the homeless!

At least... I am hoping the comments were from bots because if they are from actual real human leftists in the United States, well we're in trouble.

The America Left is a quirky bunch but, despite their protestations Left America have never been an ally of the Democratic Party in advancing the progressive cause or implementing social democracy.  Never.  Instead the minuscule America left has consistently aligned with Republicans in attacking Democrats, especially Democratic Presidents Biden and Obama and candidates like Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buttigeg, Hillary Clinton.  Why? Who knows, but what is known is Leftists find some reason to vote against Democrats every time.

And I’m not talking about the Reactionary pretenders who garner a left following only to Stan outright fascists, Joe Rogan, Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, Tim Poole, Liz & Matt Bruenig and so many others who easily dupe the Brogressives into adopting rightwing talking points and horseshoe themselves into supporting Trump.

Back in 2020 the Rose Twitter decided by April to performatively declare they would not vote for Biden and since then Bidens record hasn’t budged them from their anti Democratic Party stance. 

It’s disappointing that Biden ending the drone strike program was met with silence from the antiwar left.  Even worse when Joe pulled the US out of Afghanistan causing the Corporate Media throw a tantrum Biden received scant support from the Left.  

Biden's continuing student loan forgiveness has not been met with rounds of applause from the Left but snide dismissal and petty complaints of it not being good enough.

So, in response to the brutal IDF bombing and terror campaign in Gaza, the comfortable cosplay Revolutionaries here sought to send "Genocide Joe" a message by getting Michigan to vote for Uncommitted instead of him.

DEARBORN, Mich. -- Leaders of Listen to Michigan, one of the groups behind the push to cast "uncommitted" votes in the state's Democratic primary to protest President Joe Biden's stance on the Israel-Hamas war, said on Wednesday that they felt victorious after their movement garnered more than 100,000 ballots.

"We organized and ... Michigan voters last night sent a clear message to President Biden that he needs to call for an immediate, permanent cease-fire and he needs to stop funding the Israeli military's war crimes. Our message has been clear," said Abbas Alawieh, the group's political strategist and spokesperson.

Listen to Michigan launched three weeks ago and organizers said on Wednesday that their "diverse" supporters went beyond Arab and Muslim Americans and those who disagree with Biden's views on Israel. It includes voters upset over student loans, rent and health care, they said.

The group also told reporters on Wednesday that they believe their movement is spreading across the country. They said advocates from Minnesota and Washington state have reached out, seeking support for similar efforts in their states.  Listen to Michigan plans on accepting, they said.

Alexa Garcia is one of the 20 Washington state volunteers who flew to Michigan over the weekend. Garcia spoke with ABC News at a polling location in Dearborn on Tuesday and said she was already weary of what she claimed were the Biden administration's broken promises.

The war in Gaza convinced her that Biden did not deserve her vote, she said.

"There's a lot of things that had me hesitant to vote for [Biden] again this November, but definitely this has sealed it. If he doesn't change his ways, I won't vote for him," she said.

I'm not going to call anyone in the American-Arab community dumb or short-sighted for trying to undercut Biden because Trump is a pudding-brained fascist wannabe.  Or insult Representative Rashida Tlaib, since as a Palestinian, the IDF, Likud fanatics, and Settler fascists in the West Bank actions direct harm her people.

But, claiming Biden has broken promises on healthcare and student loans are just outright lies.

Again I’m telling you if we are to avoid the Republican Dictatorship we’re going to have to do it ourselves. Back in the old internet days before the Blogs Came, before the Age of Social Media, there were still the fading embers, remnants, and offspring of the decades old Usenet Message Boards wherein the LIHOP and MIHOP conspiracy theories emerged in response to 9/11.  Well... it appears the LIHOP has come true in Israel;

This is not a parade of power, this is preparation for the real thing.”

It seems highly improbable the female analyst's findings and report would simply be dismissed for her being a woman in a Nation which prides itself on making all citizens serve in the Armed Forces (as Gal Gadot can attest) and the comparisons to George W(orst President Ever) Bush ignoring the August 6th memo because he hoped to simply be a Calvin Coolidge style President are slightly inapt.

Israel knows Gaza is a hotbed for militants and the threat of rocket attack and other low-level insurgency is ever present, so ignoring warnings of an attack ala Bush "All right.  You've covered your ass.  Now watch this drive!" won’t provide the vicious criminal Netanyahu regime with the same level of no one could have predicted this defense.  The Israeli people know Netanyahu that thuggish murderer is responsible.

Nothing will stop us...  So, when referencing the infamous August 6th Bin Laden memo it should be understood that Netanyahu is akin to Osama Bin Laden and was determined to attack in Gaza and if he needed a bigger more spectacular Casus Belli well... LIHOP.

A fragile 5 day ceasefire in Gaza appears imminent .  This comes as welcome news.  According to The WaPo reporting the deal;

A detailed, six-page set of written terms would require all parties to the conflict to freeze combat operations for at least five days while an initial 50 or more hostages are released in smaller batches every 24 hours. It was not immediately clear how many of the 239 people believed to be in captivity in Gaza would be released under the deal. Overhead surveillance would monitor movement on the ground to police the pause.

The stop in fighting is also intended to allow a significant increase in the amount of humanitarian assistance, including fuel, to enter the besieged enclave from Egypt.

I am grateful for the efforts of President Biden and Secretary’s Blinken and Lloyd Austin and all the administration officials working on to contain this situation.  It matters having competent and trusted people running the US State Department.

The Israeli forces at the behest of their Extremist government have exacted 10 times the pound of flesh taken by the Hamas fighters on 10/07.  Netanyahu, of course, claimed the IDF killed “thousands and thousands” of Hamas terrorists.  He could hardly have claimed otherwise because that would have been a blatant admission of his failures and reckless policy positions.

I don’t agree with the conventional wisdom that Hamas goal was to draw the surrounding Arab nation and wider Islamic world into conflict with Israel.  That’s an out-of-date idea from 60 years ago.  The disproportionate and frankly criminal Israeli response to the brutal attack 50 days ago has harmed Israel internationally in a way not seen for decades.  This is the end of Netanyahu’s political cater and has turned a large focus on the vile Settler violence in the West Bank.

Of course, the bloodthirsty extremists on both sides will not be placated but that lends more credence and urgency for the Israeli people to work with the Palestinian Authority and other moderate groups to reach a longer lasting 1 state solution in the region.

Perhaps, as more speak out and protests become more frequent first, understand Police are not your allies. When Republicans take power back they will task Police forces with violently attacking protestors, beating immigrants, and rounding-up homeless people and the Police by and large will comply with those orders.  The Constitutionality of the Arrests or detentions will be ignored or justified under the guise "Officer Safety" or the declaration that the protest itself is unlawful and thus everyone at it is subject to arrest.  Just as the Capitol Police did in violently breaking up the Peaceful protest at the DNC this week.  As an anecdotal aside I've seen and personally spoken to people in the town I work with who have declared the flying of a Palestinian Flag to be an Act of Terrorism and worry that their precious little children will be targeted by Hamas.  Unfortunately, the group have decided to "report" the flying of the flag and other "suspicious" activity to the Police and expect a Police response.

Secondly, one of the misattributed quotes which has become a bedrock principle of rightwing belief is the statement, "If you want to know who rules you, look who you are not allowed to criticize"...  Blah blah blah blah blah.  Republicans are the king of hypocritically complaining about that which they themselves are guilty of;  Also known as the acronym EAIAC, (Every Accusation is a Confession) because right now as we sit here, protests against the on-going Atrocities and War Crimes in Gaza are met with Police Violence, arrests, and immediate condemnation and cries of Anti-Semitism especially from Republicans who see the Israeli Terror in Gaza as their ticket back into political power.

Certainly, Sean Hannity and Faux News see the upside and the potential political gain to be made from declaring anyone who supports the Palestinian cause or even a Ceasefire as a Pro-Terrorist, Pro-Hamas as the Post 9/11 playbooks were taken off the shelves to be used once again.  Any protest, statement, Twitter note is back to the good old GWoT days of being on the side of the Terrorists.  In shades of Zell Miller, Fox has been promoting and hosting Democratic Congressman Brad Sherman of California, who claimed the recent protest was more violent than January 6th and declared everyone who supports a Ceasefire is Pro-Hamas.

So now, the Democratic Party and erstwhile Liberals (Amy Schumer) have let their bloodlust and 100% support for brutal killings of Gazan's burst forth without regard for "consequences" because since the horrific 10/07 Hamas assault on Israeli citizens, bloodthirsty supporters of Israel have felt absolutely free to demand the death and displacement of everyone in Gaza.

Piers Morgan has decided the the Atrocities in Gaza are his ticket back to relevance as he adopts a Jerry Springer style format.  Piers has brought Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef twice to explain the brutality of Israel dating back decades using his rye humour and biting sarcasm while Piers plays the Just Asking Questions (Jaqoff) disinterested outside observer.  

But, Morgan also invited the bloodthirsty madman Shmuley Boteach on to "debate" against Cenk Uyger, Boteach adopted all the shut down trolling techniques rightwing fascists have employed for decades in such formats and instantly identified his insatiable lust for the murder of Palestinians and declared every critique a "blood libel".  Boteach of course, is a murderous psychopath, a literal genocidal Nazi, and you could argue his vileness is atypical and then you learn a murderous cabinet minister Amichai Eliyahu openly advocated for the Nuking of Gaza and declares there are no civilians in Gaza.  Or when Israeli Knesset member Ariel Kallner demands a Second Nakba;

“Right now, one goal: Nakba! A Nakba that will overshadow the Nakba of 48. Nakba in Gaza and Nakba to anyone who dares to join! their Nakba, because like then in 1948, the alternative is clear,” the Likud Party member wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The calls to ethnically cleanse Gaza are so open from Israeli butchers that Netanyahu has had to chide and tell them to stop talking so openly and so publicly about murdering or displacing every person in Gaza while Netanyahu boasts of killing thousands of "Terrorists".  The propaganda campaign of the Israeli government is aimed at keeping the US and Europe on board with their massive campaign of revenge and murder.

The open calls for Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide aren't just coming from blood-thirsty Israeli Madmen but, from Americans.  In Florida, Tits Ahoy Representative Michelle Salzman cold-bloodedly shouted "All of Them", when a Democratic State Rep asked a rhetorical question about how many dead Palestinians would be enough...

I, myself am on the side of the oppressed people and right now the Brutal Reality is Palestinians and Israelis are oppressed and captive to the Evil Extremists of Hamas, the Netanyahu and Likud Party, and murderous Jewish Settlers in the West Bank, and the groups in the US and Europe who for whatever reason to seek peace and instead don't mind how many people die in the "Holy Lands".

Sadly, here in the States the Left and the Democratic Party are tearing themselves apart and I can only hope that this isn't going on a year from now because while syphilis deranged mentally incompetent Trump doesn't have the mental acumen to take advantage of this, his vile handlers and the parasitic Republican Party do, and they are going to use the murderous anti-Muslim bloodlust just like they used their murderous anti-Muslim jingoistic Warmongering in 2002 and 2004 to win political power.

It's important to try and maintain a grasp on the truth in both in a fundamental metaphysical way and the day-to-day visceral reality during a War.

Wolf Blitzer repeatedly asked IDF Spokesman Richard Hecht about the IDF decision to bomb the Jabalya Refugee Camp, when the IDF knew there were innocent civilians there; 

“But you know that there are a lot of refugees, a lot of innocent civilians—men, women, and children—in that refugee camp as well, right?

“This is the tragedy of war, Wolf. We as you know, we’ve been saying for days, move south..." 

“Yeah I’m just trying to get a bit more information. You knew there were civilians there, you knew there were refugees, all sorts of refugees, but you decided to still drop a bomb on that refugee camp attempting to kill this Hamas commander.”

A day this interview and the bombing to supposedly get the Hamas Leader hiding in the Jabalya refugee camp the IDF struck it again.  Perhaps, one attack could be justified as a military operation but, the second attack?  And apparently the IDF struck it a third time...  The "Tragedy of War" or a deliberate choice?

Former Tea Party Republican Justin Amash said relatives of his were killed in Gaza.  Amash's relatives were apparently sheltering in the 1000 year old Greek Orthodox Church of St. Porphyrius, which the IDF bombed earlier this month.

I mean at some point We, and more importantly President Biden, Secretary Blinken, Secretary Austen, are going to have to publicly call for the IDF and Israeli Government to stop killing people in Gaza, right?

Whomever, is leading the G-2 in CENTCOM has done a fantastic job of providing President Biden with proper analysis of individual acts occurring in Gaza.  Hamas leadership lied egregiously about the Baptist Hospital, grossly exaggerating the fatalities and worse still lying about the cause of the explosion.  But, the Jabalya refugee camp bombings has resulted in over a 1000 casualties.

How can we justify this?  How can the Israeli government?  Right now, any condemnation of Israel, the IDF, or the current violence in Gaza is met with rapid charges of Anti-Semitism and invocations of the Simchat Torah Massacre.  Every fresh IDF atrocity and the daily violence being meted out by IDF forces is met with 10/07 as a justification.

At some point this has to stop.  At some point I guess the US is going to have to exert itself to stop the apparent IDF campaign to displace or kill everyone in Gaza and annex the land while the Palestinians who weren't indiscriminately killed live in refugee camps.

We must... be absolutely sure in our own minds that a civilian is fighting us or harming out installations before we shoot him.  International law clearly demands that civilians who do not fight back at us - whether they are Japanese or Korean civilians working as laborers or noncombatants in the armed forces, like doctors or nurses, or ordinary civilians - must whenever possible be take alive and must not be injured or have their possessions taken from them except after a due trial by competent authorities.  Neither such a person nor his property are the property of any of us who captures him.  It is one thing kill a Japanese soldier in battle; it is an entirely different thing to kill civilians who have not fought against us, whether they are Japanese or not.  The latter is murder, nothing more nor less.

Everyone has heard about the Faux News Grandpa Joseph Czuba, attacking a Palestinian mother and her 6 year old.  Apparently, according to his arrest report Czuba was a voracious consumer of rightwing propaganda and heard all about the "Muslim Day of Rage" relentlessly promoted by conservative liars.

All the rightwing liars who lied about 9/11, and the Global War on Terror, are back along with a new generation of rightwing liars and lying again...  In truth they never left.  I recall the conservative media pysop that a Thirty Thousand Strong Army of Hardened Antifa Soldiers were going to descend upon Gettysburg and attack "The Patriots" assembled there for the 4th of July re-enactment in 2020.  As if the Republicans who represent and venerate the Confederacy are the Heroes of Gettysburg.  The god awful Cook County Sheriff's Office disseminated a multi-department wide warning about the supposed Antifa operation and hundreds of Conservative Militias assembled to repulse the attack.

Of course, it goes back even further.  While the Ronnie Raygun administration was conducting their illegal arms trade to equip terrorists abroad (The Iran-Contra Affair) Ronnie and his brutal Secretary of State George P. Schultz fear-mongered that Sandanista's would invade Texas if we didn't support the rightwing death squads, ignore the result of elections, and quash the Marxists.

And, of course, conservatives continue to lie about who incited, who attended, and who was responsible for the Jan6th Coup Attempt (100% Republicans).

Now, I like President Biden.  I thought no matter what his Presidency shaped up to be, the mere fact he defeated Traitor Trump constituted a successful time in Office.  But, much to my surprise Joe Biden has been as progressive as any President in American history besides those who go by three initials.

That's why I can not imagine the fvcking ballistic fallout if a Democratic President denigrated Prime Minister Netanyahu and praised Hezbollah in the wake of the Hamas militant butchery the way Traitor Trump did.  I can not imagine the apocalyptic fury which would have descended on Biden; we're talking 24/7 Corporate Media coverage of the comments with demands the 25th Amendment to be invoked, hell the House Republicans might have been able to overcome their inherent dysfunction to elect a Speaker of the House for the sole purpose of calling for Immediate Impeachment.

Congresswoman Rashiba Tlaib has been widely denounced across the Nation for her correct analysis of the Israel/Palestine situation.  It highlights this incredible double-standard which afflicts the Corporate Media and the political climate in the United States (which of course impacts the response and coverage of the Russia invasion of Ukraine and the unconscionable Israeli retribution in Gaza).  Understand the warmongers are rapacious and never satisfied.  Certainly, the rightwing across the globe are irritated by Ukraine's defiance of Russia but, the War pornographers always salivate over the collateral damage inflicted in the Middle East.

So, is President Biden doing the right thing in the response to the violence in Palestine/Israel?  I don't know.  But, he has earned my trust with the policies he's enacted thus far.  He's earned my trust with the people he has surrounded himself in the Executive Cabinet.  He's earned my trust in handling the psychotic criminal Congress he's dealing with.  He's earned my trust with the way he's allowed Trump to flail and vent and incriminate himself further and further.

Joe Biden pulled the US out of Afghanistan after 20 fucking years and not only did he not get any credit from anyone, the Corporate Media proclaimed this the worst military decision in United States history.  House Republicans were set upon hearings over this worst military failure to proclaim Afghanistan was all Joe Biden's fault but, they decided to punch each other in the dicks to shut down the Government instead.

Joe Biden works to cancel as much student debt as possible, which the Supremacist Court fights over and over to stop, and Biden catches flak from left for not doing it the right way and the right for doing it all.  Then he goes around the blocks erected by Sammy di Puzzi Alito and Clarence For Sale Thomas and still received little to no credit.

Joe Biden takes on Big Pharma price gouging of old people and nobody in the Corporate Media says anything because one of the last big advertisers on old people news are Pharmaceutical commercials.

The Supremacist Court guts the Clean Water Act protection for marshlands and waterways by claiming the Originalist reading of the Constitution Navigable Waters means Corporations are free to piss and dump whatever they want and the Corporate Media proclaims Biden's EPA cuts protection for waterways.

Meanwhile, Trump praises Hezbollah (confusing them with Hamas) because Trump is raging idiot while Biden declares support for Israel's 9/11 and collective shrug.  

Traitor Trump blubbers utter drivel these days, not that his sentence structure was ever coherent during his Presidency, but his babbling is chock full of farcical nonsense, grievances against President Barack Obama, praise for dictators, confusion over what Bush was President, attacks on witnesses and prosecutors and his usual collection of general gibberish.  It used to be Republican malapropisms were massaged by the Corporate Media who cleaned-up and sanitized the shit flowing from Republicans mouths.  It was thought as long as the Republican wasn't a diaper shitting madman he could be successfully carried along but, with Trump the Corporate Media couldn't make any of it make sense so the they decided they no longer cared and instead of trying to make Republican Clowns into Statesmen, they would enjoy the Circus.

Meanwhile, IDF forces blew up a convoy of innocent civilians, who were evacuating per Israeli Likud instructions on a roadway.  The IDF denies it was their missile strike but, the BBC claims they have verified it was the IDF and not a Hamas bomb.

Meanwhile, illegal settlement in the West Bank and violence against Palestinians not in Gaza increases.

Meanwhile Israel has ordered 1 million Gazan's leave the North and instructed the Palestinians to relocate themselves into refugee camps in the Sinai desert and live in tents...

Meanwhile, anger over the killing of children in Israel apparently resulted in a 6 year old being stabbed to death for the crime of being Muslim.  Did this 71 year old Polish man became an angry Faux News Grandpa when he decided to choke and stab a Palestinian woman who fled the West Bank a decade ago and then kill her US born son?  

If you are against Israeli War Crimes be prepared to face violence here.  Republican Council Member Inna Vernikov, decided to openly display her handgun and call protestors Terrorists.

While, American Jewish people have apparently been shocked, saddened, upset, and outraged at the response by college students and various other inconsequential people, President Biden and Secretary's Anthony Blinken and Lloyd Austin have given the full-support of the United States to Israel.  With that support as well as vocal support from very angry Billionaires the IDF is planning a so-called full-scale combined "Air, Sea, and Land" assault on the people of Gaza.

So...  I ask when can we tell Israel to stop?  Because it absolutely appears the military operation in Gaza has the strategic goal to kill or displace every Palestinian.  But, to ask the question is to find yourself the target of a coordinated on-line social media campaign which labels anyone pleading for Israel to show some restraint an anti-semite at best, but more likely, a Jew-Hating Nazi full-throated defender of Hamas and the brutality of the attacks who wants every Jew to be slaughtered.

The very simple explanation for this is such accusations place the person on the defensive so their next response has to be 'Obviously I condemn and denounce Hamas' and thereby shut down any rational discourse on the response of IDF and the Israeli government.  Israeli supporters then proclaim they don't support Netanyahu but, put the onus back on those requesting restraint by making the entire response an open-ended campaign in which the Palestinian suffering and ethnic cleansing is a fait accompli.

Displacement and the replacement of everyone in Gaza with Israelis along with mass destruction of the "infrastructure" seems to be the military operation here.  Collective Punishment for 2 Million people, Never Again began in 1948 and 75 years later it's happening again...

Drunken Van Orden strikes again as he drunkenly lashes out at briefing on Israel/Palestine situation

Notorious raging abusive alcoholic Derrick Van Orden is a disgrace to the United States House of Representatives, and considering this gaggle of traitors, goons, grifters, and bigots that is quite an achievement.

Drunken Van Orden seems to believe his buffoonish tours of duty as a US Navy Seal qualify him as an expert on the burgeoning Humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the butchery of the Hamas Militants on October 7th, and the 75 year Israeli occupation of Palestine.

So, during a briefing Drunken Van Orden was a profane belligerent asshole yet again; 

Van Orden reportedly interrupted a congressional briefing by White House officials on the unfolding conflict between Israel and Hamas, cursing at the presenters, calling them “pathetic,” and yelling “fuck you” at Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.), according to Politico. Phillips, a Jewish Democrat, had reportedly interjected into Van Orden’s verbal tirade with an exclamation of “shame on you.”   

“He was rude and attacked the presenters,” Rep. Judy Chu (D-Calif.) told Politico. “I thought they had very substantive things to say. But he just had this blanket attack saying that ‘this is the worst information I’ve ever had’ …

Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) reportedly apologized to the presenters for Van Orden’s behavior. Van Orden’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Rolling Stone. 

I'm 100% certain Drunk Van Orden knows nothing of the Nakba, the Right-of-Return, the Netanyahu/Likud destruction of any political solution and policy of supporting Hamas, let alone the current situation on the ground.  Just like when George W. Bush didn't know the difference between Shia and Sunni Islam, Van Orden like all Republicans doesn't know Shit from Shinola. 

Although, Van Orden might know something of unlawful killing of civilians and Terrorists attacks, as he participated in Jan6th.  But, with his non-stop profanity laced tirades he's a disgraceful Representative for Wisconsin although these days all Republicans are a disgrace and hurtful to the Nation.  Perhaps, in Van Orden's case  it's CTE, perhaps he thinks it's tough ooh-rah leadership but, more than likely Drunken Van Orden is a shameful reminder to all Americans of the out-of-control, booze-fueled, violent serviceman undermining the highest tradition of the United States Naval Service.

Harvard Students issue factual statement about Israel and Palestine. Republican Extremists Attack

Republicans love when Extremists attack.  They fvcking loooooooooove it.  Republicans love when innocent people die in Terrorist Attacks because then they get to Bash the Left with their rhetorical war club and accuse Democrats of Aiding Terrorists.

Because of the Tea Party lunatics, the cartoonish Trump criminality and treason, and the non-stop Anti-American antics of Greene, Santos, Boebert, Tubberville, Hawley et al you had forgotten how bad the Republicans were under George W(orst POTUS Ever) Bush.  Hadn't you?

For instance, convicted criminal and drunken evangelical Tom DeLay scuttled aid to Palestine Authority in 2005.  Undercutting the Palestine Authority in 2005 aided who?  Hamas; who "won" elections in Gaza in 2006 and have never had another.  Who else has aided Hamas?  Why Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Hamas multi-pronged attack is just the balm rightwing extremists across the globe needed.  Anyone attempting to analyze the incredibly fraught Israel/Palestine situation, express understanding of the shared grief, bring humanity or nuance into this is immediately attacked.  Especially, if you are in the West and you share even a scintilla of compassion for the plight of Palestinian civilians expect to be savagely denounced by Republicans.

We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.  

Today’s events did not occur in a vacuum. For the last two decades, millions of Palestinians in Gaza have been forced to live in an open-air prison. Israeli officials promise to “open the gates of hell,” and the massacres in Gaza have already commenced. Palestinians in Gaza have no shelters for refuge and nowhere to escape. In the coming days, Palestinians will be forced to bear the full brunt of Israel’s violence.  

The apartheid regime is the only one to blame.

Elise Stefanik, a Republican US Representative from New York and a Harvard graduate, called the statement “abhorrent and heinous” for excusing the “slaughter of innocent women and children”.

Republican US Senator Ted Cruz, a Harvard Law School graduate, wrote on Xitter: “What the hell is wrong with Harvard?”

This is a good question as they were not clairvoyant enough to see the odious Traitor Cruz would turn into.

Harvard President Claudine Gay and senior leadership including 15 deans issued a statement on Monday that said they were “heartbroken by the death and destruction unleashed by the attack by Hamas that targeted citizens in Israel this weekend”.

See! We can neatly blame all the future death and destruction on the original Hamas attack and thus Israeli war crimes in Gaza are actually the fault of the people being killed by bunker buster bombs and the cutting off of the water supply.

It's nigh-impossible for anyone in the West, especially in the US, to criticize Israel. Even when such criticism is wholly accurate.  Israelis, however, are not shy about placing the blame upon the occupation and inhuman conditions the Israeli governments have subjected the Palestinian people.  Here in the US, Republicans have nothing to offer the American peoples thus they see this continuing War in Palestine/Israel as see an opportunity to attack President Biden and the Democratic Party and further endanger and degrade the United States.  While the Republican Party  isn't in "league" with Hamas, the Likud Fascists, Vladimir Putin, all these extremists know that their interests are aligned and that each of them is able to wield outsized power by undermining peace, democracy, and liberal society.

So as the death toll rises and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza gets worse, expect Republicans to get more vociferous in their support of the Netanyahu's and the IDF war crimes.  All you have to do is remember how fervently the Republicans defended Abu Ghraib, waterboarding, "enhanced interrogation", Blackwater crimes in Iraq, and every other atrocity committed by the US in the name of the Global War on Terror.

The War in Palestine/Israel and Warnings ignored by Netanyahu and Trump's illegal classified document dumps fueling danger throughout the World

Apparently, 9 U.S. citizens are among the dead from the October 23 War.  An unknown number are  unaccounted for and presumed dead or kidnapped.  The US Navy has dispatched the Task Force built around the Aircraft Carrier Gerald R. Ford.

Right now world opinion is squarely on the side of the Israeli people and government.  But, there is a staunch disagreement over the role of Iran in this latest attack and the release of the $6 Billion in captured Iranian funds the Biden Administration negotiated.  The IDF has already declared Iran responsible which of course seems a ridiculous assertion seeing as the Israeli security apparatus and military was caught completely unawares by this attack.  But, then there is no downside for Israel to blame Iran and attempt to enlarge the scope of this War.

And make no mistake, Israel intends to go into Gaza with ground forces after softening up the region with the Blockade/Siege of over 2,000,000 non-combatants.  

“We are putting a complete siege on Gaza … No electricity, no food, no water, no gas – it’s all closed.  We are fighting human animals and we will act accordingly,” Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said in a video statement.

Animals...  the dehumanization of Gaza residents makes the upcoming war crimes easier...  IDF turned Gaza into an open-air prison in 2007, with continual low-level violence directed at the inhabitants punctuated by occasional spurts of open warfare.  What's been going on in Gaza is probably best described as a slow ethnic cleansing.  This current development is an indiscriminate statement of collective punishment which is against the Geneva conventions as is not allowing the people to leave.  But, Israel has world opinion on their side and is operating under the belief that everything they do in Gaza (not without reason) will be defended by rightwing extremists.

It's one of the counterfactuals of modern realpolitik, extremists in the Islamic world, Republicans in the United States, bigoted warmongers in the West and Israel all denounce each others actions/beliefs but all need each other to continue to espouse those beliefs, make inflammatory statements, engage in violent rhetoric, and the occasional attack or bombing in order to remain in power.  And they all know this.  So, when something does happen well then extremists and provocateurs advocate for war crimes and genocide.  The Extremists throughout the world do not want rapprochement and will sabotage every effort made at peace.

As always Trust Republicans to make any and every situation worse.  In typical disingenuous Anti-American fashion Republican assholes are using the blood of innocents to advance the rightwing agenda of oppression and hatred.  Republican interests are exactly aligned with the extremists of Hamas and the Israel Likud Party and other extremists.  So, Traitor Trump and the Republican gadfly's supposed running for President couldn't rush fast enough into the loving arms of their Corporate Media allies to Blame Biden.  Besides saying Biden is literally at fault for the Hamas/Israel War, Republicans are also using the Obama didn't say Terrorist Act but Acts of Terror therefore, he's in league with the Terrorists to attack multiple Democrats.

Of course, reality has a liberal bias and the facts don't align with Republican lies, but that's never stopped Republicans before.  Traitor Tump destroyed so many international situations, and now the damage is playing out across the globe.  One of the early questions revolves around the failure of the "Iron Dome" to intercept the rocket attacks launched by Hamas.  Israelis knew earlier this year the trove of classified documents Trump kept in his toilet, probably sold to Saudi Arabia, and Trump bragged about to show off his importance definitely damaged Israel's security.

And so, many innocents will die, and those who might have wanted or worked for a solution will be side-lined, hearts will be hardened, and the Extremists will get what they want, continued hatred, continued war crimes, continued terrorism, and continued power for themselves.

An Egyptian intelligence official reported that Abbas Kamel, Director of the General Intelligence Directorate of Egypt, called Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to alert him about "something fierce will happen from Gaza," ten days ago. According to the Egyptian source, Netanyahu seemed unbothered, said the IDF is "swamped" in dealing with terror from the West Bank. Obviously, if this is true and Netanyahu blew off this warning 2 weeks before the attack he won't survive the political blowback because the Israelis are not going to rally around him the way the Corporate Media demanded everyone support George W. Bush for ignoring the 'Bid Laden determined to Attack America' Presidential Memo of August 6th. 

Palestine and Israel: Desperate Peoples sometimes lash out

As the much and wrongly maligned Neville Chamberlain correctly observed, There will be no winners only losers...  Hamas backed fighters launched a massive assault from the Gaza Strip against Israel.  Besides the massed rocket attacks and small arms fire-fights, the Hamas extremists took many hostages during deep incursions into Israel, using a combined air, sea, and land operation.

Hurt people, hurt people.  This attack is not an Ex Nihilo event and there is no point in claiming who has suffered more or who started what whose grievances are greater because no one has the moral high ground, no one can claim their suffering is superior to others. Whatever analysis you read, understand a lot of innocent people are going to die because of the extremist leaders of Israel and Hamas.

But, some understanding of why Hamas would indeed launch such an attack knowing that the Israeli reprisal is likely to be massive and indiscriminate.  The Gaza Strip is tantamount to an open-air prison, or a Ghetto if you will.  The 2 million peoples there live in an area smaller than the area of the city of Chicago.

Besides the settlers taking land (officially "stopped" in 2005), the Israeli government controls water and power for the people living there and has engaged in less-than-careful killing of civilians during the short Hamas/Israel wars in 2009 and 2014.  The penning in of civilians in Gaza has been a slow grinding genocide, punctuated by brutality from IDF soliders.  This story from 2020 recounts how Israeli snipers wounded hundreds of demonstrators, 

"I know exactly how many knees I’ve hit," says Eden, who completed his service in the Israel Defense Forces as a sniper in its Golani infantry brigade six months ago. For much of the time, he was stationed along the border with the Gaza Strip. 

But, the propaganda value of "Palestine" and the plight of the Palestinian people long ago lost it's luster in the Arab World.  But, let's ignore the unctuous rightwing take of Newt Gingrich's who declared there are no Palestinians only Arabs since the inference would mean there are no Americans only Europeans in North America (and the Indigenous peoples we slaughtered, cheated, and swindled out of their land). 

I fear the Israeli military reprisals for these Hamas terrorist attacks, savage kidnappings, and brutal murders are going to be draconian, blood-thirsty, with little care for collateral damage, and a near-total disregard for Gaza residents.  I'm imagining a 10:1 ratio or worse.

"I can tell you tonight that the people of Gaza will have to take into consideration that they will have to pay a price and we will advise them to take steps to avoid any casualties,” Danny Danon, a member of the Israeli Knesset says it will “not be easy” for the people of Gaza tonight. told Al Jazeera from Tel Aviv. “We will be efficient, and we will do whatever it takes to hunt them [Hamas] down.”

Civilians in Gaza have no where to go so, Nehtanyahu's warning for non-combatants to leave is trite at best and tantamount to justifying the coming war crimes.  Already the death count is over 1000 and the expected long Israeli counter-offensive is sure to involve ground forces conducting Urban Warfare.  Benjamin Netanyahu is a Fascist as is his Likud Party. His absurd lies helped to push the US into War with Iraq;

And Netanyahu has pushed lies trying to get the US to attack every Islamic Nation.  But, his corruption, militant authoritarian beliefs, and current attempts to completely subvert the tattered Israeli Democracy were his whole focus leading up to this attack.  And perhaps worst off all Netanyahu encouraged the rightwing domestic Israeli extremists in 1995, who assassinated Yitzhak Rabin.  When Rabin was murdered the two-state solution was killed with him.  Since then, the official Israeli plan has been a slow-moving elimination of the Palestinian people and state.

But, it's never time to criticize Israel or Israeli apartheid policies.  So, we have a War.
