should come as no surprise that Mitt Romney was a High School bully.
According to Jason Horowitz of the Washington Post, Mitt Romney physically assaulted at least one student at Cranbrook School in 1965.
"He can’t look like that. That’s wrong. Just look at him!” an incensed Romney told Matthew Friedemann, his close friend in the Stevens Hall dorm, according to Friedemann’s recollection. Mitt, the teenage son of Michigan Gov. George Romney, kept complaining about Lauber’s look, Friedemann recalled. When asked about the incident by Faux News, Romney laughed off the incidents. Laughed... Laughed...
A few days later, Friedemann entered Stevens Hall off the school’s collegiate quad to find Romney marching out of his own room ahead of a prep school posse shouting about their plan to cut Lauber’s hair.
It's no surprise Mitt Romney was an evil vicious bully as a teenager, he was the same when he conducted a protest of Vietnam anti-war protesters while his dandified ass wasn't going to go anywhere near southeast Asia. [See My Post: So What Kind of Foul is Mitt Romney? Chicken Hawk or Vulture Capitalist?]
Now, looking back at Mitt's record as a job-destroying Vulture Capitalist, it can probably be seen in light of his bullying nature as out-right Sadism. Romney enjoyed making money while ruining Americans' lives.
Contrary to what became the standard accepted theory of Bullies, they aren't lacking in self-esteem they possess far too much belief in their inherent betterness than everyone else.
Listen and read any right-winger. In their opinion they are the "Real Americans". Only they understand the constitution. Only they understand the true meaning of liberty and freedom. Only they are pro-military. Only they have the proper values and traditions. And it is up to Conservatives to force those truths upon the non-conformists.
And that's exactly what Mitt Romney the vicious homophobic bully did to that student who "Can't Look like that!"
Update:
Eric Boehlert highlighted the insane anger and violent stupidity of Right-Wing bloggers, when the truth about Mitt Romney's disgusting, vicious bullying nature was revealed. “No one questions the accuracy of this story,” he remarked to Current TV host Jennifer Granholm. “They went bonkers. They said it was a hit job because the Washington Post did a very detailed report on Mitt Romney’s youth.”
More fodder for the Dems...
ReplyDeleteRon
It's shocking that the Party of Law & Order, of Military Prowess, of America First, would choose a vicious criminal, chicken hawk coward, who fled to Paris to avoid service and hides millions of dollars in foreign bank accounts, as it's standard bearer...
ReplyDeleteIn reality, Mitt Romney is a Republican but his egregious evil nature belies how out of touch with 99% of Americans the GOP is...
Even Phillip Maxwell, an attorney who considers Romeny an old friend, called it "bullying supreme".
"When I saw the look on his [Lauber's] face, it was a look I'll never forget," said Maxwell. "When you see a victim, the sense of trust betrayed in this boy who was perfectly innocent for being different."
Hurting those who are perfectly innocent is a MO of Mitt Romney.
“The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda. There will be no more comments from the family,” she said.

Obama and his toadies in the press should be ashamed of themselves, using others, including the dead, to pursue their own craven, partisan ends, but then, they have no shame.
Betsy Lauber, one of John Lauber’s three sisters, spoke with ABC News Tuesday night regarding the accuracy of the story.
ReplyDelete“If he were still alive today, he would be furious [about the story],” she said with tears in her eyes.
But progressives don't care who they use and abuse as long as it advances the goose-stepping Long March.
The GOP should put out a commercial quoting family members
"When Obama exploited my brother, it was like he was bullied all over again."
But what else can Obummer do? He sure as hell can't run on his record.
Yes, absolutely Silverfiddle. Bullies (conservatives) thrive by making sure their victims don't speak out. It's a continuation of their power and when a victims story is revealed the right-wing punk ass bitches get another thrill that the person they bullied is hurt again!
ReplyDeleteIt's part of their power, I'm sure you and every so-called conservative are mad that your precious little Romney is getting called out as the vicious twerp he is...
Enjoy casting your vote for Romney!
Yeah, I knew even the news of Obama exploiting a dead man wouldn't sway your worship of him...
ReplyDeleteI think we are clearly beginning to see a portrait of someone motivated by far more than the standard Republican greed and indifference. For Romney, stomping on those below him is more than an inconvenient necessity on the way to becoming incredibly wealthy, it is a positive benefit of his position. As they say, it's not a bug, it's a feature.
ReplyDeleteGod help us if those indifferent to all human decency manage to come together to put this man in the White House.
Oh most definitely Green Eagle. Romney is a sadist, "I enjoy being able to fire people who provide me services", "Let me tell you a humorous story of when my dad fired Michigan workers"
ReplyDeleteHe's clearly a man who gets off on hurting people and then making money off of it.
But, the vitriol is soooo deeply ingrained in the right-wing mind by hours and days and months and years of repetition that Romney will lose no votes for being a chicken hawk homophobic, bullying, job destroying Vulture Capitalist!
