I find J.D. Vance a pitiable man (but my sympathy for his plight doesn't excuse his support of Fascism)

J.D. really did nail the
come fvck me look
in this picture
I had to change the title of this post after the recent revelations that J.D. Vance enjoyed dressing in drag.  I had originally entitled this: Jesse Ventura body-slams Just Dishonorable Vance as Republicans ratchet up their smear campaign on VP Tim Walz.  As former Governor Ventura had done several interviews calling out Vance for his disgraceful attacks on Walz's service record.

But now...

Sigh...  look I am very sorry Vance can not, whether through fear or naked ambition, live the way he apparently wished to;  but, my sympathy for him ends when he chooses a course of action to take away other peoples' freedom to live their lives as they see fit.

Between changing his name and religion and outlook on society multiple times, J.D. Vance seemed to really suffer from that millennial manhood malaise.  Vance, like many men of his generation, doesn't know what it means to be a man;  he tried to find it in the Marines, he tried to find it at Yale, he tried to find it in the catharsis of a New York Times bestseller, he tried to find it as a reactionary catholic convert, he tried to find it as a husband and father, and now he's trying to find it as a pure MAGA Fascist.

But, not knowing what it is to be a man, feeling rudderless, and questioning his identity are not the problem, the problem is he gloomed onto the worst fucking person in modern America and attached himself to the MAGA Fascist movement.

Instead, Vance has aligned himself with the vicious and hateful, and a man who promises to eradicate Transgender day one and whose policy platform laid out in Project 2025, would subject LGBTQ Americans to invasive and draconian abuse from the Federal Government.

Vance is just a sad, sad man...

But, what are the Republicans going to do?  I think they are going to play this off as The Left being the intolerant ones and claim Vance was just playing around and this is a distraction from the real issues.  Unfortunately, the real issue is Vance is a raging hypocrite and if he were to attain office (with Trump) he will use the Awesome Power of Government to imprison, medically castrate, and kill innocent people.

This campaign season has everything the political press could ever want.  Twists and turns, drama, an association attempt, and now unexpected revelations.

Original Post follows:

Republicans continue to smear Vice President Tim Walz.  I understand why; they have nothing to run on.  Traitor Trump continues to his rapid descent into syphilitic madness railing about AI generated crowds after listening to the fantasies of his advisor Dinesh DSouza, inventing stories of near-death Helicopter rides, and making claims so fanatical that even his loving Corporate Media has to tepidly state they are not true.

Remember this all stems from the Republican lies about Iraq.  Tim Walz served in the Minnesota National Guard, not the regular Army.  This deployment the lying Republicans claim is "Stolen Valor" happened a full 2 years after the Infamous Mission Accomplished, flight suit bulge from W(orst President Ever).  Because of the Iraq War lies about Weapons of Mass Destruction and the rightwing plan to use the Iraq War for stealing money from the American people, Bush needed to send National Guardsmen into the theatre, which he accomplished with an executive order.  Nor did future Vice President Walz claim to or implied to have served in Iraq or Afghanistan this is just straight up lying and taking out sections of a speech Walz did as a congressman and claiming he said he served at Bagram Air Base.

Republicans believe, perhaps correctly, that if they just continue to smear, slander, lie, and Swift Boat Tim Walz eventually the media will pick up the baton and run with it as they've done in the past with Hillary's emails, Benghazi, and the Swift Boating of John Kerry in 2004.  So, it should be no surprise that they strategist for Just Dishonorable Vance was Chris LaCivita who led the attack on John Kerry.

I hope he got his 40 pieces of silver
Elon Musk Fascist Twitter is just rife with Republicans posting and reposting each other's lies and false narratives about Tim Walz and then seeing Bots and Nazis amplify it.  Republicans have always engaged in incestuous amplification (that's how we got the Phony Global war on Terror in the first place) and convincing themselves that their weird ideas and lies are reality.

As of right now the Corporate Media has covered and debunked the lies coming from Republicans.  And given enough time Republicans may be able to make their lies stick.  After all as Kevin McCarthy noted in 2016, Republican lies and attacks on Hillary Clinton before that election brought her favorables down and the 25 years of slander rightwingers had done on HRC had seeded the narrative.  However, Social Media these days aren't dominated by credulous Boomers reposting Russian disinformation and regurgitating the shit Racist Limpballs used to spew daily.

Goebbels Miller was born in 1985 and didn't serve
It’s fascinating to see the cavalcade of  Couchborne conservative Chickenhawks return to the roost of loving the Iraq War.  I only read these weird assholes on Nitter.poast.org

Remember all these right wingers pushing the Stolen Valor smear of Vice President Tim Walz abstained from serving in the military during George W(orst POTUS) Bush's war crime in Iraq and folly in Afghanistan.  Ben SShapiro's twitter is weirdo foot fetish Ben sharing random X accounts attacks on Tim Walz.

Perhaps, it doesn't matter anymore.  It's not 2004 anymore, Republicans have steadily confined themselves to speaking to each other and have created an alternate reality for themselves where they share these things.  And as the Boomers move closer and closer to extinction they aren't being exposed to the utter insular weirdness of rightwing twitter which is creating memes of Tim Walz drinking horse cum...

It's Hard to be A Republican Plutocrat on just $172,000* a year

"If inequality is at a much higher level - who cares?" ~ Brit Hume, Faux News

Phil Gingrey of Georgia recently complained he was "stuck" in Washington DC making only $172,000 a year. This follows Sean Duffy of Wisconsin complaining in 2011 that he was struggling on his congressional salary. And it's understandable because the people they are carousing with are the type who have no problem dropping $700 on two bottles of Pinot Noir as Hedge Fund Vulture Clifford S. Asness and Deficit Svengoolie Paul Ryan did on their wine date a few years back.

In 2009, Gingrey misused $400 dollars of campaign monies to renew his Georgia medical license. While it's a small amount it's a fee which a regular taxpayer couldn't just expect to be covered by somebody else. Also it was shown that for his 2010 re-election campaign Gingrey raised $1,400,000 dollars and his re-election campaign paid thousands of dollars for expenses incurred by Gingrey.

Prior to 2010, Gingrey had a leased Chevy Tahoe at $768 a month, he turned that in when the lease ran out for a Honda CRV at $462 a month. Now this is paid by US Taxpayers of course so that's an expense that regular Americans pay that Gingrey doesn't.

Additionally, it was uncovered that Congress and their staff received over $2,000,000 dollars worth of Coffee and Pastries paid by the Taxpayer in 2012.

Gingrey has been in Congress since 2003, like all Federal Employees post 1984 he is enrolled into FERS. So a whole 1.3% goes to his pension, which he became invested in after 5 years.

Now Georgia is a Right-to-Work State, which means (from the Secretary of State website),
an employer can terminate an employee for good cause, bad cause or no cause at all, so long as it is not an illegal cause.
Georgia Manufacturing is proud that their statewide Unionization was 3.4% as of 2010. So, while Gingrey has a Pension and benefits his constituents could be fired for merely complaining about their salary and the vast majority enjoy the privilege of Right-to-Work-for-Less.

Gingrey has brought non-Union Foreign owned Car Manufacturers into Georgia and gave them US Taxpayer dollars to undercut our Domestic brands as well as undercut Union labor at home. What a two-fer for the Plutocracy! Kia Motors got $324 million of Taxpayer welfare to open their 3000 worker Georgia plant in 2006.

Now, Gingrey isn't a special Republican as he represents a poor state as the median income for Georgia is $49,736 but Phil ensures that while he cuts benefits and rights for the Working Class people of his district he "works" very hard in DC to make sure the Super Rich Plutocrats with whom he hob-nobs are taken care of.

So, there's the Hard Work that Phil Gingrey has been "stuck" doing in Washington DC for his measly $174,000 a year.
